I'm gonna have to go straight from a remembrance service and into a Shakespeare rehearsal on Sunday and not get to change uniform. That's gonna be interesting to perform in.

A brief eternity
WordPress Free Photo Library My eyes may be dim but I still see images in my mind’s eye. An unknown but remembered field in Cornwall where I lay amid knee-high grasses and wildflowers, the summer sun warming my eyelids, the hum of bees lulling me into tens of minutes of near-timeless contented bliss. My taste buds tingle with the memory of scalding, sweetened milky tea in an enamel mug, poured…

The time I embarrassed myself in front of my whole platoon
Right, so as a teenager I was in the army cadets.
With this, every summer I'd be shipped off away on camp for a week. During one of these camps, we were out in a big training area in south Wales. We'd been walking for ages and it was thirsty work so I was pumping back the litres.
You can see where I'm going with this, right??
Eventually, I needed to go to the toilet. Drinking tends to do that to you, S.
SO, I mentioned it to the adult in charge and he said that we'd be stopping shortly for a break and that I can find somewhere to go when we stop.
We stopped. I looked. I'd found the perfect place. A bush, secluded on all sides, OR SO I THOUGHT!!!
THE ONE SIDE THAT I HAD MY BACK TO, WAS THE ONE SIDE THAT WASN'T PROTECTED.
I JUST MOONED THIS WHOLE GROUP OF TEENAGERS AND STARTED TO WEE WITHOUT REALISING HOW EXPOSED I WAS.
When I re emerged to the group EVERYONE was staring and one person even had the gall, the nerve, the GUMPTION to ask me what I was doing in that bush. And of course I clammed up.
This still keeps me awake ay night.

Had to sit out of pitball for a bit because it got super, super loud. My friend stayed by me till it got quieter [and till I calmed down] though, so that was nice.
I also chugged a hole can of grape Fanta and ate half Aero bar. So.

Wolffe: Gregor, can I ask you a question?
Gregor: Shoot
Wolffe, pulling his gun out: Shoot what?
Gregor, deranged from lack of sleep: Uh… the tv?
Wolffe: On it
(Later)
Alpha-17: What happened to the tv?
Cody: Gregor and Wolffe’s single braincell short circuited.

WEST POINT CADET
Updated with better pics, cleaning up grammar and spelling.
West Point cadet is replaced by his twin brother. I've always loved watching the Army/Navy game with the cadets in their dress uniforms. Thought it'd be so hot to meet a few cadets out at a bar before the game, get em drunk, strip em, and take their place :)

Oh, cool! If that's the case, I suppose I should probably take a visit there sometime.
Also, forgive my ignorance, but what type of leaf is that insignia?
