i'm not up to date with the manga but i've seen yuuka around! i really adore her design and personality !! spunky short haired girls are one of my favourite tropes so episode of savanclaw was made for me lol 😩 also the fact that she practices judo is very * __ * i'm also super interested in how her love for cats/animals will come into play (specifically if it influences her dynamics with leona and the beastmen ww)

It took him a bit to notice the creature that laid unmoving nearby, but in the end, he did close his book and wandered over. Hurting all over. Something was telling him this was no ordinary animal, otherwise, he would have put it out of its misery already.

oh yet another good purgatory moment i rediscovered earlier today, and i'm willing to bet i said something about this when it first happened, but day 3 i believe when tubbo came to bolas spawn and was chatting with foolish and asked to borrow their enchanting table and foolish was dodging the FUCK out of the question and refusing to clarify if they even had an enchanting table, meanwhile tubbo's noticing the evasions and calling them out

like foolish goes "idek how to make an enchanting table" and tubbo goes "so you do have one, but you didn't make it" and foolish goes "well i didn't SAY that" and they go back and forth and then foolish goes "listen i don't see an enchanting table in [the hole in the wall that is the bolas base]" and philza like stifles a giggle bc he has the enchanting table in his inventory rn and foolish def knows it

like the fucking mental chess that they're both playing like a fucking unstoppable force vs immovable object type beat. trickster meets trickster. every time i see that conversation i want to take notes holy shit. a dishonest person who never tells lies meets a guy who knows his tactics and unlike badboyhalo doesn't join the dance but smashes through the wall like a goddamn sledgehammer. i LOVE THAT SHIT it was like that time tubbo went circles around cucurucho the first time they met or whatever. amazing. 10/10

i'm also thinking about this now bc i noticed jaiden doing it too, on day 4 during all the spawnkilling (yes i watched that vod again lmfao it's too good not to). like when pierre is taking her over to the green base and she stops herself when saying "it's time for my revenge on green team" and corrects it to "my revenge on elquackity", and when bbh came back to red spawn to escort her safely to her body after she quickwarped via punching a whale, she didn't say outright that she was going to take him to her base when she started walking, just implied it and then took off.

like goddamn. i love that shit. i eat that shit up. i love when characters are tricky and manipulative. bbh and foolish talking in extended metaphors is an absolute feast for me.

How does Vega feel about the Sinclair side of her family? Specifically Esther.

It's a conflicting thing. Though Esther doesn't approve of the Addamses as in-laws, she still loves Enid and Vega, so Vega in turn loves her (Sinclair) grandparents. But in like, the most bare minimum way possible.

You know how there are some people in ur family who you dont like for certain things and would not bother to be close to if they were some rando, but bcuz they're family you say you love them anyway?(for some people anyway)

That's how it is. Vega doesn't like Esther. She doesn't like that she's toxic and thinks werewolves should be a certain way. But she's also her grandma, so there will always be a part of her that reserves a certain amount of familial love, as long as lines are not crossed.

Listen, but out of the entire trio of villains and their heroes, only the child version of Shoto did not look at Touya. Where their child versions are together, Shoto is looking down instead of at Touya. This gives me the feeling that Touya hasn't and never had a hero (by analogy with Toga and Shigaraki - a hero who would see them as a human and a traumatized child and would like to help, not just stop or defeat).

I'm very interested to know your opinion. Do you think it matters that only the child version of Shoto doesn't look at Touya (out of the whole villain-his-hero trio)?

Hmm. There certainly is something to be said about how, even now, his family still aren’t properly looking at Dabi in this way or that. And how that may signify he’s still not properly saved; similar to how Toga was offered understanding but not relief of safety, so she wasn’t saved and felt it was better to die than face the heroes ideas' of justice.

This idea of not looking at their villain's true self is a problem faced specifically by the Todorokis tying to save Dabi. While Ochako largely understands why Toga’s done what she’s done and Deku…seems to want to learn what was already told to him; the Todorokis kind of demonstrated this bad habit of ignoring Touya’s wants and objections this whole arc. They finally addressed him; but with the exception of Rei, it was largely to tell him to cut it out & stop causing problems for others; maybe a pitiful ‘sorry’ that Endeavor couldn’t back up with actions. Shoto in particular felt to take a very business like approach to his brother; saying he understands his trauma but still considers him a murderer. There is a sense of wanting to save Touya; but unlike with Toga, it really felt like it took a major backseat to stopping/defeating him in this arc.

So I guess what I’m saying is; I totally see how this symbolism could be representative of the failings of the Todorokis in this arc. While I don’t think they’re unique in having an approach that was flawed at all (Some attempts were better than others but I wouldn’t say a single major villain has been saved yet); the continued lack of looking at Touya for Touya & for Touya's feelings might be the main flaw to the Todoroki's attempts. (Again; excluding Rei, who for her small roll did great.)

(Although the ironic thing is, everyone else in the family besides Shoto did get an imagine spot of looking at child Touya. Although he's weirdly tall and still in Dabi's jacket. Maybe the symbolism there is that they still see him mainly as a villain, with Touya's old childlike wants they can't see as equals? Thus Dabi's shown as a baby faced adult while they're still aged, as opposed to Deku & Ochako see themselves as children alongside their villains in their imagine spots. Like; they don't see his origins, they just see him as childish...maybe. I don't know I'm just throwing symbolism readings out there now.)

do u have any advice for someone downloading lotro for the first time??? u make it look so cool!!! 🌸

Well, I am not very sure I am playing right. I can't speak to people nor offline nor online somehow, so I am missing a lot.

• First, you will have to type password everytime you go to play.

• Then, choosing a server to play on. Each one has their own purpose, there are American and European, some are RP oriented, some are for raids, etc. Although I've heard people there are insufferable with particular rules. (I play on Landroval and I like it so far).

• There are lots of setup to prepare. For graphic options there are videos and articles.

In Options you will find UI settings, where you will be able to change size of various elements (map radar, quest tracker, etc.)

• For a good time I didn't know how to change size of a text in quest dialogue.

• You can look up how to set up chat as well, and text there can be colored for you to notice stuff easier.

• And once you set everything for your use, you can save it by typing /ui layout save [name] in chat. If you change something accidentely, you can make it look like before with /ui layout load [name] command.

• Then there are useful plugins to help with better game experience:

I have Deed Tracker, Emotes Helper (to have all emotes automatically in a separate window) and Lotropad (very useful for saving commands so you can just copy/paste them, other game details; and you can upload images (maps with specific locations for example, but I put funny backgrounds for my text xD)

I also have Opaque Quest Tracker and MoorMap.

And SongBook for those who want to be musicians. But I only play My Little Pony and TF2 Soldier Theme xD

• Another things I was unaware for a good time are cosmetic outfits (I don't remember why but I couldn't slot anything there so I assumed it's a pay-for-thing, there happened this funny screenshot though) and one bag instead of 3 separate ones (opening one bag is more comfortable for me, and to make one you just need to drag slots from other bags to the first one while in edit mode).

• There is also a Filter Panel, to filter out some loot, quests and sounds. For items you need to drag it into a panel (I put lootboxes there).

• There are things like LOTRO points you can get through doing deeds in game rather than transfering your money (I spent my first good bunch on making steeds faster for the whole account, but you can also save some for buying a game content expansion).

• Folks in chat also remind of codes sometimes that give you useful stuff (to redeem a code you will need to go to the LOTRO store).

• Yeah, since I am a f2p player, I have to write down destinations to navigate easier in Middle Earth. I am writting them down to not forget:

• Finally, there is also https://lotro-wiki.com/, quite useful. And if something is unclear for me, I go to search for answers in websearch or on YouTube.

• And, I see people do play the game differently, you can skip quests and do whatever, but I am personally here for going through LOTR story and watching the stories of LOTRO characters too (even if I am mostly interested in dwarves and hobbits, but oh well). There are also seasonal Festivals in game, they are fun! You will be able to get a good looking outfit and a beautiful steed.

I think I wrote down most of what brought confusion to me first time. For sure I forgot something important, but I hope you will be able to find answers. Good luck.

About this ask

Cognitive dissonance is so strong with these people. There is a very good breakdown of the arya-jeyne-north angle by @agentrouka-blog where she so succinctly puts forward that not only is it deeply concerning that a victim of rape and abuse is your fav’s proxy to leadership in the north, it also widely insulting that Arya of House Stark has a claim to the north only through marriage (to the sadistic political enemy of the Starks, no less). Not to mention that it is a grossly inaccurate reading of the text and understanding of how basic succession in asoiaf works if we think that somehow Arya is the lady of Winterfell because Jeyne married Ramsay - on top of misunderstanding character arcs and motivations and where the story might actually be leading but sure.

The Arya I know and love will never accept to be the lady of Winterfell because of a fraud marriage. She will also not mercy kill Jeyne because what the fuck?! But I digress. She will lay her claim to Winterfell because she is a Stark, not Lady Bolton and she wants her home back. How are people so hung up on Arya being the Starkiest Stark to ever Stark while also trying to pit her as heir to her own homeland as a Bolton? How does that work?

Again, treating Sansa as her alter-ego Alayne who is conveniently also Lysa 2.0, and will have the same fate as her, is rooted in villainising Sansa and ‘getting her out of the way’ for their faves. At its core, it’s yet again badly understood text with cherry-picked evidence and misplaced emotion.

I am sure both of these have been debunked again and again but people will see what they want to see, and I am already sick of fighting that.
