Levi was silent for a second. “Why is every story you tell me about the fae? Furlan gets told stories of heroes and said it was weird that I don’t know them.”
Kuchel huffed at the mothers of the town telling their sons rubbish like heroes. “Because the fae are real and heroes are just a matter of who is alive at the end of a tale.”
“But—“
“No buts. Go to sleep. You can ask questions tomorrow.”
Levi huffed.
Kuchel went back to knitting until the candle burned low.

More DA x AoT Sketches!!!
Once again I used various screenshots for references from the main anime and the AoT 2 The Final Battle Game. None of the characters belong to me, this is merely a fan au. Please credit me and don't steal!
Featuring the 104th cadets and the main trio (Hajime has the founding/attack titan, Komaru and Makoto are his best friends {they each have their own personal bodyguard/Mikasa})
So in short just so no one gets the wrong idea;
Makoto and Kyoko are close
Komaru and Toko are close (cough Ymir x Christa cough)
And Hajime and Chiaki are close (I'm thinking they both had crushes on each other as kids)
Just the three protagonists and their respective love interest/main support role, which I think fit pretty well into the au.
Between the trio I think their dynamic would be similar to Levi, Furlan, and Isabel, almost sibling like in nature.
There's also the full Top Ten List, ranking as follows (this is just based off of my personal hcs for how they would rank + their respective purpose in the au);

I was wondering what if Optimus prime from transformers animated end up in the world of attack on Titan instead of Optimus, prime (transformers prime) and how would that play out?
Let's say TFA Optimus gets zapped to the AOT world during the season 2 finale with the spacebridge. He kind of gets caught up in it along with TFA Megatron as they are trying to escape and lands right in the middle of Trost during episode five. Same motions kind of happen. They are able to retake Trost, but instead of an Optimus who's willing to stay, TFA Optimus kind of wants to leave.
It's not that he doesn't want to help. Quite the opposite. It's just that he's in the middle of a war of his own and he needs to get back to his team, Detroit, and stop Megatron because he's not sure where TFA Megatron is. And he says that in the Judgement Day, in front of everyone. Military Police are suspicious of this and think TFA Optimus is going to bring back more enemies, which TFA Optimus vehemently denies. If anything, he would bring back more allies! This whole situation for you guys is horrible! But if he doesn't make sure TFA Megatron is taken care of, along with the other Decepticons who might still be at large, a lot more people could end up suffering because of it.
This would be where Erwin would come in and explain that TFA Optimus and the Survey Corps could work together. If TFA Optimus helps them expand territory and fight back against the titans, he'll have more resources to get home. Because the people of the Walls don't know what's out there, and neither does Optimus. He'll end up blind, even lost. This is a situation where both parties can benefit from each other. TFA Optimus decides...this is probably the better course of action, and he ends up staying and aiding the Survey Corps.
Now the Survey Corps and the 104th can't help but marvel at how tiny Optimus is. But he's still a very skilled fighter. TFA Optimus is understandably concerned and cautious at how Hanji has taken such an interest with him and how he works. They do manage to recreate a knock-off energon source via TFA Optimus' instructions because unlike TFP, they can't find an energon deposit on the island. Although, Optimus says it tastes gross, Hanji's excited to have a possible new energy source.
Erwin, Mike, and Levi do take note that TFA Optimus is...kind of young too. He's definitely seen some shit, but he's clearly someone trying to come into his own as a leader.
Eren doesn’t like TFA Optimus initially, but that’s because of his hatred of titans. I’d like to picture that one day when Hanji is running experiments and has Eren transform into his titan form, he makes the unconscious decision to attack TFA Optimus. But TFA Optimus has got this. He faces opponents bigger than him all the time. He takes a page out of what he’s observed with the Survey Corps and the 3D Gear and puts his own spin on it with his own grappling hook and axe and takes down Eren with ease. Which everyone is extremely impressed by. When Optimus cuts Eren out of the nape, he replies that he faces titans bigger than him on a regular basis.
Eren thinks that he’s so cool after that and asks for TFA Optimus to train him, which is weird for the ‘Bot because this kid tried to kill me and now wants to learn something from him. But Optimus realizes that Eren is misguided and going through a lot. He was certain he didn’t ask for any of this. Maybe he could help him out a little with this.
However, because of Optimus’ size, battles are going to be a lot tougher, and he really has to work around a lot in order to take down someone like Annie or even Reiner.
TFA Optimus is initially hesitant about the coup, but takes one look at the government, and it reminds him of Cybertron and he’s screaming “Let the Monarchy Burn!”
Instead of being seen as a father figure, he’s seen as an older brother. Zeke is jealous of that, and TFA Optimus is reminded of Sentinel’s arrogance whenever he’s around Zeke. He has beef with Zeke, as does everyone else.
He’s still worried for the Autobots, and they are panicking because he and TFA Megatron are missing, and they just found out Sari is a techno-organic. So they are reeling right now.
TFA Megatron?...he wouldn’t work with Paradis. He’ll probably lie in wait in Marley before striking. That’s what he did with Dr. Sumdac. It seems will within his character.

hello !! this isnt your typical headcanon ask but id like to know when did you start shipping reijean and what moment made you this passionate abt them ? youre one of my favorite rj creators and im so curious abt what inspired this obsession <33
Hello!! I'll try (and fail) not to turn this reply into a PhD dissertation, hehe.
I started shipping Reijean in October last year when I was watching AOT for the first time. Even though at the beginning they had next to zero interactions, I felt that their energies were a perfect match for each other: Jean the egoistical and sassy slacker, and Reiner the confident and idealistic big brother everyone would want to have. I loved how surprised and impressed Reiner was with Jean's behavior in Trost, I loved how he kept following Jean's lead, and I loved their silly little banter. So, yeah, basically I was shipping them already during the Battle of Trost.
During the Female Titan arc, I felt there might be something more in store for them. Reiner's second reaction to Jean's character development, his concern for Jean's wellbeing, and Jean's panic at the thought of Reiner's death cemented the idea of them as the best duo and a potential couple for me. Plainly speaking, they were incredibly cute.
Season 2 gave us the "titanic reveal" and the unforeseen "enemies to lovers" trope (which I'm extremely fond of). I was very curious how it would play out – it was already pretty much obvious that Reiner must have been involved in Marco's death, and since Marco's death had become such a turning point in Jean's life, the possibilities were endless.
And then Shiganshina happened. Oh my god, Shiganshina. That arc turned them into my ultimate OTP. The way Jean kept encouraging his comrades to fight the Armored Titan, the way he kept attacking it himself, only to break down and cry when he thought Reiner had really died... It was heartbreaking that the audience learned the truth about Marco's death, but Jean didn't. His desperation to save Reiner's life after that was extremely moving.
The way Jean was shown in that scene, all those close-ups of his eyes, the panic on his face, his willingness to manipulate Hange to protect Reiner regardless of everything that had transpired... Reiner hadn't killed Jean when they were chasing the Female Titan. How could Jean turn his head away and let him perish now? All those nuances, Jean's big heart and innocence were what made that ship so special to me.
The beginning of Season 4 was a treat because it finally shed some light on Reiner's backstory and all the surprising parallels between him and Jean: their role as leaders, the deaths of Marcel and Marco, Reiner and Jean's attempts at becoming more like their deceased friends to honor their memory... Honestly, at that point Jean and Reiner felt like they had been written for each other.
When Jean finally learned the truth about what had happened in Trost, attacked Reiner and told him that he would never forgive him... I didn't think he was going to keep that promise. And I wasn't disappointed. Don't get me wrong. Personally? I don't think I would have forgiven Reiner in Jean's place. But that's what made Jean such an incredible character; his ability to change and challenge every perception of him we might have had.
The fact that Jean admitted to being the same as Reiner, to having committed the same sins as him and to finally seeing his side of things was big enough. But to have him become so sincerely concerned with Reiner's wellbeing again, to have him put himself in danger for his sake, to have him save his life once more... And not only from the Colossal Titan and the Rumbling, mind you. Jean also saved Reiner from Reiner himself. He understood how self-destructive he was. And he gave him something Reiner had never had before: a sense of belonging.
I keep going back to that one conversation between Ymir, Bertholdt and Reiner:
Because... that's it. That's the whole point. For the first time in his life, Reiner suddenly knows what's it like to have someone care about him regardless of what he has done. That's the closest thing to unconditional love he has ever experienced.
Reiner's mother didn't give a shit about him, the people who sent him to Paradis didn't give a shit about him – to them it was only the Armored Titan that mattered. For the longest time Reiner had struggled with who he was and didn't consider himself worthy of forgiveness. So, for Jean to be the one to give him all that... It's huge. And the way Reiner kept looking at Jean in those scenes made me feel things.
Jean chose life over death, forgiveness over hatred and Reiner over the Armored Titan. The way those two characters were orbiting each other throughout the story was truly insane. Jean's arc had started with Marco's death, with his willingness to make Marco proud and to do the right thing – and it ended with him realizing that the people who had killed Marco were also doing the so-called "right thing". The whole point of Jean's story was to forgive Reiner and to symbolically unite both sides of that war.
And at the same time, Reiner's quest for a place he could call home, and for the people who would accept him for who he was, ended with Jean. Reiner went from wanting to kill the devils of Paradis to being saved by one of them. Jean called him one of the Scouts and welcomed him back to the family. And Reiner suddenly realized he still had something left to fight for. The point of his arc, the arc of a man who perhaps shouldn't have been granted forgiveness, was to receive it from the person he had hurt the most.
Jean and Reiner were supposed to heal together.
Summing up, the Shiganshina arc had been responsible for making me so passionate about them in the first place, but the last chapters definitely fueled my obsession to the point of no return. To me, Reijean is an amazing comfort ship because of that ending. It's just so warm and hopeful, and nice. It's good knowing Jean and Reiner have each other again.

Can I request a part 2 for the douma and dio duo.
But the star dust crusaders reacting to the couple of death. And the power increased dio. Jonathan his body whoud no longer reject dio because of the demon blood.
(imagine her coming in between the last fight talking all the damage in laughing about it because douma is built different. )
(for some reason I believe they would marry to mege their cults together ruening some poor people to be wed wedding day and using their guest as a all you can eat buffet probably leaving the bride or groom alive because that's something they whoud do. And I see dio sending their wedding invite to the star dust crusaders just to piss them of. )

• The long awaited day had finally come where Dio would be able to end the Joestar bloodline once and for all. The Crusaders had finally shown themselves.
• Now taking up residence in Egypt, growing their cult, Dio and Douma now had the world at their finger tips. Jonathan’s body now under Dio’s complete control thanks to the demon blood and Douma at her peak form with her new vampire powers.
• Originally Dio wanted the pleasure of finishing off the crusaders himself, but with the newly realized ability of Jotaro Kujo being able to stop time, things began to get a little more tricky.
"Now now, I don't take to kindly to people trying to take what is mine~" Douma would purr.
• Douma, however, was not about to let her one true love and obsession be humiliated further, therefore she joined the battle and was able to take any amount of damage that star platinum threw at her, regenerating at a speed that not even Jotaro’s stand could compete with. It was through this partnership that they were able to beat back the crusaders.
"Fools all of you if you thought you could win against gods." Dio would say.
• Even new followers like a young Enrico Pucci were amazed that such powerful beings existed on this earth. They had to be gods. There was no other explanation.
• Dio found such pride in the possession of Douma, showing her off and spoiling her. He especially loved to flaunt her to his followers, having them worship her.
• To settle any possible unrest between their two cults, the two would marry, but this would be no normal marriage for sure.
• Unfortunately for a nearby wedding ceremony, the gods of death decided that the best way to marry was staying true to their natures.
• Causing carnage.
• The wedding was crashed, guests becoming food or blood bags. Chaos and panic everywhere, however, the two would happily indulge in this spectacular and seal their own vows to one another with a bloody kiss, along side the corpses of the former bride adn groom.
"My equal, my masterpeice." Dio would praise.
"To our eternity." Douma would toast to.
• Let us not forget the blood stained wedding invite addressed to the Joestars that was promptly rejected. 😂

you snort, not bothering to justify that with an answer. of course you're nervous, on top of a whole array of other emotions. if you start talking about them, they threaten to spill from your chest
"so? is it a bad time to tell you that i'm in love with you?"
now that has your head whirling at him
he remains staring wistfully ahead, and you swallow to regain your composure,
"... probably the worst time."
he laughs with a light shake of his shoulders, as if he expected that response,
"well? would there be a better time?"
a grin breaks onto your face,
"hm. not at all, i suppose."
with that, the tension dissipates, and the next twenty-eight minutes are probably the only truly peaceful minutes you've had in months - worries floating free as birds away as you laugh with jean, recalling fond memories, your mind wandering away from the impending battle tomorrow, as if it were never to happen
and suddenly he asks,
"is it a bad time to kiss you?"
your smile is yearning when you reply,
"... the worst."
"should i do it anyway?"
"of course, jean."
your kiss with him is filled with raw emotion - elation, that your feelings are returned and he's with you in this moment; dread, at the thought of the coming war; anger, that he hadn't told you any of this before when you could've run away and had a peaceful life with him; and something else dull and aching that you can't quite place. you pull back for a second,
"if i die tomorrow, d'you promise to move on?"
"the hell did that come from? of course you won't die tomorrow. neither will i."
he chuckles lightly, but his face is filled with concern,
move on, he scoffs to himself, as if i ever could
you shrug contentedly, throwing away the rest of your worries and fall into his embrace, kisses deep and longing
"i'm in love with you too, jean. as in... i love you"
and with that, you've completely and utterly melted his heart
but maybe - just maybe! he would, only because he'd do whatever you asked him to
and he swears he would've, had he not been the one to kill you on impact when he transformed into a titan
aaaaAAAHHHhh so idk i had this scene playing in my mind which is obv canon-divergent and i'm still not good at writing angst buuuut... every try means eventual improvement, right? anyway ily and hope you enjoyed, thanks so much for your patience 💓
