either way i think drantis are way worse than the reputation they’ve built for dream fans despite how much they preach political correctness and moral superiority . i’ve been watching dream for just over two years now and here’s a list of my interactions with antis

March 2021 - Somi Malek

a 16 year old girl from new york made a total of 8 tumblr accounts to

-harass me

- send me fanfiction about mutiliation rape incest and animal abuse

- write a fanfiction in my asks about me being raped by both dream and sapnap (separate asks)

- sent me suicide bait, death threats, rape threats

- downloaded and sent mw pictures of myself from my private social media accounts and threatened to post them online on body rating sites .

i almost had to get the police involved because tumblr wasn’t responding to my harassment reports

this was because i posted under #dreamwastaken

The First Las Nevadas Stream (also march 2021)

i made a post saying it made me uncomfortable that people were saying dream deserved to be tortured under the cc!dream tag

antis used this an excuse to tell me

- i deserved to be tortured ‘just like that f****t streamer*

- i needed to be raped with a rusty pipe (i’ll never forget that one)

- i got sent suicide bait for a week straight

there was some overlap with the somi incident here

October 2022-

anti commented under my post about how ugly dream is and whatnot post face reveal stuff u know anyway i told them it was unnecessary and to get some friends and make their own post and they

- called me a slut

- tried to imply i was a child predator for telling a minor to stop fighting with them under my post (i have the word slut in my url which means all my interactions have a sexual undertone apparently)

- tried multiple times to trick me into saying i hated poly people

- when i shut down the conversation they forged screenshots of me saying i hate poly people and they aren’t valid and threatened to send it to people

this was for saying idc if dream isn’t your type tell him he’s pretty which most people would know is lighthearted stan behaviour

those are the biggest issues thatve stuck with me but there’s been so many incidents where i’ve had to shut my ask box or close anon asks or take a whole break from tumblr because people stalk the dream smp tag to see who they can target

i get hate asks on a near daily basis and here’s what they come to

- sapnap would sexually assault me

- i deserved my sa (happened after i opened up about it for the first time and when i said i hates what minx said about the recent situation)

- general death threats

- slut shaming

- dream is a bad person (the reason varies) and he would commit a violent crime on me (also varies sometimes he wants me dead sometimes he wants to rape me depends on what the antis are thinking about)

- sui bait (expected)

- sui baiting dream in my inbox

- dream is going to rape george

- sapnap is going to beat george to death for being gay

amongst other things this is only the things i can think of that happened to ME and i know that there’s so many people who revive so much violent hate for just existing on their blog and posting about their interests from people who take a personal offence to people being a fan of someome they don’t like . and they have the gall to say that WE are the aggressors in the situation when they’ve been telling us to kill ourselves for years now

dream fans have a reputation from the way SOME people acted on twitter, but antis are using the facade of moral righteousness to disguise the fact that they are displaying all the violent behaviours they project into us

And we have harassment suits on them real ones not the court type and they don't get it at all so those individuals will be gone and that's how our proceeding by targeting people who are out of control. This morning we have 500 of those due after and we are going to terminate them last night and 20 households went to the line and all of them are dead and the idiots they called leaving 80 households and yeah it's getting down there. Today is Monday it's a work day Nintendo firing half of what's left of the cops and private workers and they intend I'm taking a chunk out of the head guys in Charlotte county and judges and attorneys and attorney generals and that will spread to Florida and they want people out they're tired of the fake news they're tired of Tommy f grilling everybody to raise our Army this is what they're doing. And it is intense I mean these people are intense assholes if you've ever seen anybody be an a****** these people are assholes all the time their argumentative about just about everything they consider you backing off a little then winning the argument my son does it all the time because when I back off the argument you're probably just about to die I'm saying to your idiot Friends and the other idiots so they're saying this he's saying stuff that gets his mad then when you get mad I'm probably just about to kill you. And her son and daughter were right their suicidal f*** and their lives and their lousy at this and don't care it just want to fight and have a good time so we're going to kill them all

Really huge program going here and it's starting today and the sun says we should start doing construction projects and get them the hell off me and you said yeah we probably should do that so you don't have the great to do it but we do most the time these people are a little a****** babies yelling shouting clapping their bony arms around your phone in the car and drive off it's absolutely true so probably going to end up doing that guys in disguise

i hope you don’t mind me rambling in your inbox!! no pressure to respond <3 but your c!q manberg takes are so true…. im an avid manberg-era lover almost Exclusively because of big q because. he just cares so much. he proved again and again that he put manberg first in his mind but he tried his best to keep the people he loved too and i really do think he wanted schlatt to work out up until the white house!! he just doesn’t give up on anything easily you know

he wasn’t there for l’manberg’s establishment he didn’t experience any of the highs and lows of the war or develop bonds during it but he still Cared :( he tried to protect tubbo from schlatt even though he was just as scared of what schlatt might do as everyone else (if not more), he stuck by wilbur in pogtopia even though he knew wilbur was just getting worse, n he stuck by schlatt up until the white house where schlatt proved irrefutably that he really didn’t care abt what quackity wanted at all, and even worse, he didn’t care about what was best for manberg, and that was just the straw that broke the camels back, u know

like. he’s not stupid. quackity even before the butcher army could be scathing and analytical and he is at heart a politician in the same way wilbur is (which is smth wilbur actively acknowledges), he knew what schlatt was doing was fucked but he also tried to hold onto the hope that he could maybe fix it. and when he realised that it wasn’t going to happen— that he truly didn’t marry the man he thought he did— he took immediate action. a naive person’s first course of action upon being disillusioned isn’t Murder— that’s the sort of thing only someone who’s angry and bitter and Sick Of This Shit does!!

like. hope is not something that comes easy to quackity because there’s no reason for him to have it! hope is a thing he claws his way to with bloodied and bandaged hands and no safety net beneath him and it’s never worth it, not really. and he hopes less, now, but you can still see it, in how he fosters his relationships with tommy and slime and keeps the wedding chapel in las nevadas even though there’s no one around to use it. and yet still, hope, always and despite and because.

No feel free to ramble- you get it so much!!! I love his character so much and I feel Manberg showcases so many of his traits so well- He's keen and driven but he's also an emotional- at times even reactionary fellow who cares a lot and it's so clear in so many of his actions good and bad- it makes what happens to him in Manberg hurt so much more, he wanted to make it work so much... Like he wasn't super naïve but he just wanted to be a part of L'manburg, genuinely, he loved that place! And he wanted to be a part of it, to call it home! But all he got was empty promises, a figure-head title that meant nothing, and a fucked up damaged sense of self-esteem curtesy of the man he thought he was gonna have a future with- he tried to bear it and keep on pushing forward but eventually he just couldn't take it anymore, because Schlatt did not feel the same as him and that could not be changed as much as he wished otherwise.

Post-Manberg c!Q survived with a lot of his traits still mostly in tact, he's still a very clever politician type, still very active and always moving and spends as much time doing as he does planning and thinking, and as much as he tries to pretend otherwise he is still very much a man who cares about so much especially those close to him! But despite these consistencies there is something about c!Q in New L'manberg that is just different then the c!Q during Manberg, colder.

There was a bright optimistic spark that died with Manberg I feel, died in that White House perhaps... you don't survive what he went through without losing that, and that spark will never come back. I think he can heal, and I believe he will get a happy ending of some sort where he's able to be successful and happy with himself and a home- but he's never gonna be who he was before Manberg. Maybe c!Quackity views that as a lesson, but I think it's more of a tragedy...

But like you said though, while that optimism may be gone it's that love in him that seems to be unable to be snuffed out, he tells himself 'Las Nevadas' has no place for emotions' and yet we see how much he still cares for Tommy and Slime and Tubbo- It's just so intrinsic to who he is! Even when the world's against him he's still gonna fight- because he cares and that's all that matters! It's gotten him hurt before and lead him down the wrong path at times, but it's also his biggest redeeming and most important quality and makes his other traits shine so much more- Hope can be a scary thing but he still cares too much to just give in easily-

haven’t been able to stop thinking about how ben shapiro, when reacting to hasan’s income, implied that marxists and socialists shouldn’t be living in society but in the woods like some sort of transcendentalists.

anyway by that logic c!dream is the most based person on the smp. he even paid punz for his labor!!! take that people calling him a republican.

i will also consider george to be incredibly based. he built a house away from society on stream while a war was going on. we stan. but he didn’t pay callahan for the help so that knocks him back a little. no workers rights :(

tommy is pretty based too and he talks about a lot about communism. but he also doesn’t care about workers rights :(

purpled and fundy lost points when they gave up their based ways to live a life of capitalism in las nevadas. and sam supports a corrupt prison system :(

finally, i believe that jack manifold is maybe on his way to being the most based. i’ll keep an eye on developments. but if he opens a business and makes money. nope.

note: i know you may be thinking hey what about technoblade, he lives absolutely in the middle of nowhere and he’s literally an anarchist. consider that because he worked for quackity at one point, a raging capitalist, that automatically puts him behind c!dream just a little bit

Genuine non-troll white woman here - you wrote "So I already knew that Good Girls was a white feminism phantasmagoria...But, jesus fucking christ, y'all are just showing your true colours lately. The way you talk about a MOC in relation to a white woman is disgusting." Not asking you to call out specific people or posts or start any kind of flame war but what would be a general example of what you are talking about? I follow a good chunk of people and I'm not seeing this maybe b/c I'm not following the same people, maybe out of willful blindness, maybe I'm not recognizing it - again, b/c of ignorance, etc. Just trying to understand what you mean - and not do it obviously, if I am doing it.

I apologise for taking a longish time to answer this. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted to get into it. Anyway, I'd first like to say that this is all my opinion. What bothers me might not bother someone else. BIPOC are not a monolith. Even subsections aren't. Not all Mexican trans men are a monolith. Neither are all Japanese lesbians. You get the idea. And that's not even including people like Ben Carson or Caitlyn Jenner—people who support and work for policies that actively harm the marginalised group of which they are a part. Secondly, I know this isn't your intention, but asking POC to tell you what is ok to do and what is not is a slippery slope to "my [blank] friend said this was ok." Finally, the fandom is quite small so it is pretty hard to give general examples. I don't know if it's more trouble to quote specific posts or not, because some will think it is about them anyway. Anything I'm going to mention I've seen on Tumblr, Instagram, Reddit and/or Twitter. But there are definitely popular Tumblr blogs that all push the same narrative. Oh, and one last thing, I haven't seen any of what I'm referring to from people I follow.

Ok, let's go. For a very long time, mainly WOC have pointed out the racial problems within the show and the extremely dismissive attitude about those problems from mainly white women. And while these same women have written thousands (even tens of thousands) or words about Beth (it's always Beth) and her struggles and the amazingness of such a complex female character (ymmv), they brush aside commentary about racism as either nitpicking, not understanding the show is about the 3 women (tell that to all the white men with fleshed-out storylines), or misogyny. The last is especially hostile because they are often talking over Black women and misogynoir is a very real fucking thing that couples the fun of being hated for being a woman with the delight of good old-fashioned racism. They espouse the idea that people having a problem with Beth are all covert & overt misogynists. But talk out the other side of their mouths that they can't possibly be racist even when they support racism in the show or ignore concerns brought up by fans of colour. And that is just the absolute height of hypocrisy. Because by the former they acknowledge that people in a marginalised group (women) can still be anti- that group (a phenomenon with which I agree). But in the latter, suddenly they don't understand that concept.

Specific to the post you are responding to, fans that purport to like Brio write about the relationship in ways that reveal how much of their enjoyment comes from Rio being inferior to Beth. It's all about what he can do for her, how he acts against his best interests for her, how he literally denies himself sexual pleasure for her. Those are all meant to show how in love he is with her. But the show never bothers to tell us why. And, no, this is not because the show is so deep. Other romantic relationships they have scenes that are explicit about the characters' feelings. But Rio, after being shot, after being betrayed, after being mocked, is just so in love with Beth....because. (MYSTERIOUS!) And the Beth stans are more than fine with this because they think everyone should be as obsessed with Beth as they are. But it's bad storytelling. And, in this particular case, it gets into very dicey racist tropes. A white women treating her Latino lover like an afterthought is not the same as a white women treating her white lover like an afterthought. It just isn't. And if some of these fans are as smart as they pretend to be, they know that. They just don't care. Much like the showrunners.

There was so much talk defending the drawn-out Boland marriage because why can't we understand how hard it is for Beth—who is, at various times, claimed to be emotionally abused by Dean or staying with him because it is safe and comfortable—and we don't appreciate how difficult it is for her (I may be one of the few divorced people talking about this show on Tumblr, so this has always made me laugh). Yet there was nothing but glee when Rio flipped on his brousin (who was written as both abusive and safe) for Beth. Where was the empathy for Rio and how hard it was for him? Especially because, unlike Beth, he didn't even have one parent? Hadn't the Beth stans used her very tragical history™️ to explain away her every shitty act? idk, not having any parents and going to jail (as a minor?) and being betrayed by your family seems pretty tragic. But I didn't see them all of a sudden excusing Rio's bad behaviour. Because, feminism or something?

What about Beth's feelings? Last season she spent trying to have him killed. This season she spent looking annoyed by him. Throughout both she talked down to him in a specific white woman way that every BIPOC has experienced, even if some of them are cool with it. There were multiple opportunites for Beth to talk about her feelings with Ruby and/or Annie, but the writers made the deliberate choice to always make it about sex (and god, the immature way they had these three grown women talk was fucking obnoxious). She spent the last 2 seasons also wanting him out of her life to the point that a majority of her actions in S4 were motivated by getting to Nevada with her husband and kids. Beth doesn't care about Rio but Rio needs to put Beth above everything because he's just so in love like he's never been before (which is blatant Marcus & Rhea erasure). And anyone who doesn't think Beth would have just as happily been sitting on that bench plotting how to "run the city" (hahahahaha!) with Nick if the situation worked out differently hasn't been paying attention.

So, what do we have? A white woman who is constantly excused (by the loudest portion of the fandom) for all her ill treatment to her Black BFF & her Black husband, her Asian coworker, her Latina "friend," and Rio (among others) because her life is hard and who is not required to even be nice to her supposed "endgame". And a MOC who is expected to accept being treated poorly by the white woman because he loves her.

Actually this was probably this season’s episode that I’ve found the most interesting so far? (although don’t get me wrong, the bar was abysmally low 😂)

What you hadn’t counted on was waking up married to a celebrity who has a knight-in-shining-armor complex, connections with an oncologist, and amazing insurance…

Chapter Summary: You and Seb have a date. Like a date-date!!

“I’ve lived here for over a month, you know,” you pointed out on Saturday morning.

Sean pulled to a stop at a red light and tossed you a confused look in the rear view window. “Yeah. I’ve been driving you for over a month.”

“And you’ve been living in my apartment,” Seb pointed out. “What’s that got to do with anything?”

“It means,” you said, “That I know New York pretty well.”

“Ah.” Sebastian settled back into the seat. “You think you know where we’re going.”

From the front seat, Sean laughed, making you glare at him. “You never pay attention to where we are. I could kidnap you and you wouldn’t know until we passed a Welcome to New Jersey sign.”

“So if you kidnap me, you’ll head towards Jersey. Seb, take notes so you can tell the police where to look if I go missing.”

“Noted. Anyway. Back to the original conversation. You think you know where we’re going?”

Sebastian turned in his seat to face you and waited for your answer with an amused look.

“We’re… well, we’re headed towards the hospital.” That much you knew. But you were sure Seb’s date idea didn’t include the building where you spent most of your time. In the last month or so, you’d only been to the hospital, the apartment, the diner, and Broadway that one time.

Of course you had no idea where you were going. But it annoyed you that you neither man would tell you where you were going.

Surprises were never high on your list of things you liked.

“You’re not wrong about that,” Seb said. “But that’s not where we’re going.”

Alright. So you’re headed to Washington Heights… What things were near the hospital that you’d seen? There was a BBQ place you’d been wanting to try. But Seb said there would be walking…

“Oh god. You’re not taking me to Planet Fitness, are you?” Laughter from both men filled the car and you got defensive. “What? You’ve threatened to make me go to a gym someday.”

“Yeah, once you’ve recovered from a successful surgery. Babe, you can barely walk up two flights of stairs.”

You were not about to tell him that you were winded after two flights of stairs before you found out you had cancer. “Okay, so if the walking we’re doing today isn’t at a gym, where is it? Central Park? If this is your way of telling me I’m a shut-in who needs Vitamin-D, I can talk to Dr. Chowdhury and have him suggest a multi-vitamin or something. I mean, I definitely wanna see Central Park, but it’s huge. Like, if you have a plan to, like, have one of those bike carriages or something for us, I can see that. But—”

“Hey, hey, hey. You’re blabbing like you were doing when we woke up in Vegas.”

“Blabbing? Excuse me, Mr. Stan. I am sharing my opinion.”

“Well, Mrs. Stan, you sure are doing it in a blabbing way.”

“I—” am being way too defensive. Sebastian didn’t know about everything in your past. He didn’t know why you hated surprises. He was doing something nice for you and it was time you started getting past your hangups. “Sorry. Yeah. I am. I just don’t like surprises. I like to know things, you know?”

“So you know how to protect them. I know, Y/N.” Sebastian took your hand and gave you a soft smile that damn near sent you into cardiac arrest. “Why don’t you just trust that I know enough and can protect you today? You’ve leaned on me for dealing with the press. Lean on me for today, okay?”

You let out a deep breath, trying to relax. “If we’re doing enough walking today, I don’t think I’ll have much of a choice but to lean on you. You might even have to carry me.”

“I give a hell of a piggy back ride.”

This time it was your laughter filling the car. “I’m definitely going to have to take you up on that.”

The car pulled to a stop and you jerked out of the tunnel-vision conversation you’d been having with Seb to look out the window.

“This is the Met,” you stated, trying to think of how Sebastian would know that this was your number one place you wanted to visit. “The Metropolitan Museum of Art.”

“Yeah,” Seb had that stupidly soft smile on his face as he took in your reaction.

“I… Wait. I told you the first day we were here I-I-I wanted to come. Like, in passing. How the hell did you remember?”

Rather than answer your question, he asked one of his own. “Think you can handle walking here?”

“Uh, yeah. Definitely.”

He grinned and squeezed your hand once before letting go. “I know you’re all independent and shit, but you’re going to sit in this car and wait for me to come around and open your door, okay?”

“Oh wait,” you pretended to be shocked. “Is this, like, a date-date?”

“Oh, shut up.” He playfully shoved your shoulder before getting out of the car. Before shutting his door, he leaned down. “You stay put.”

He waited until you held your hands up to prove you weren’t going to move before shutting the door and heading around the car.

Sean slung his arm over the back of his seat and looked at you with a smirk. “Wasn’t it just last week you were trying to convince me that Sebastian wasn’t really your man? Huh, Mrs. Stan?”

“You,” you said bluntly, “Shut your damn mouth.”

He chuckled and raised his hands in surrender. “I’m, just saying… babe.”

“I don’t pay you for this abuse.”

“Your man is the one who pays me.”

Your door opened and you shot Sean one last warning look before taking Seb’s hand and climbing out of the car.

“Have fun you crazy kids!” Sean yelled just before Sebastian closed the door.

As Sean pulled away from the curb, Sebastian gripped your hand tight in his and started walking towards the impressive building.

For the first time since you woke up next to Seb back in Nevada, you weren’t worried about being out in public with him. For the first time, you were looking forward to spending a day out of the apartment with him.

“You know, I saw that interview you did,” you said hours later as you wandered the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas exhibit. “The one where you’d told your mom that you were in Black Panther, but she left before the end credits scene where you actually were.”

“Yeah?”

“I like that story. These masks just reminded me of the scene where Killmonger steals the African mask. Also, I’m blaming you that I can’t think of a Marvel movie without thinking of some sort of connection to you. Even the movies you technically weren’t in.”

His arm tightened around your waist and he kissed your head. “Risks of being married to me.”

“It’s a pretty good risk if you ask me.” You tilted your head up to look at him. “And the perks are pretty good too. I mean, I’m standing in the Met. Something I’ve always wanted to do. Because of you.”

His lips pressed to your forehead. Against your skin, he murmured, “My pleasure. Now let’s go find somewhere to sit down for a bit.”

“Please.” You hated to admit it, but you were almost ready to pack it up and head back home. You hadn’t even seen a quarter of the museum yet.

You decided to lunch at the café in the European Sculpture section, which gave you enough energy to tackle the Modern and Contemporary Art corner.

Half an hour later, you came out of your ‘Sebastian Bubble’ enough to notice some girls whispering a few exhibits away. They kept glancing your way. In such a good mood, you elbowed Seb and nodded towards them. “Looks like some of your fans are here.”

“They’ve been following us for the last ten minutes. Are you just noticing them now?”

“Hey. I’m focused on the art. One-track mind. You know me. Anyway, they probably want a picture with you or something.”

He nodded, considering. “You cool with that? I mean, today’s supposed to be you and me.”

“Yeah, it’s cool. I’ll take the picture. You know those girls will be kicking themselves for weeks if they pass up this chance to meet you. I was once a young teenage girl in love with the Jonas Brothers.”

“Jonas Brothers?” Sebastian gripped his hand over his heart dramatically, groaning. “Geez, woman, you keep saying things that make me feel so old.”

“C’mon, Old Man. Let’s go make those girls’ day.”

As soon as the girls realized you were walking their way, they started tittering excitedly. Their excitement turned to apologies for interrupting your day, but you quickly brushed aside their concerns.

“Hey, don’t apologize. Trust me, if we ran into Kelly Clarkson, it’d be Seb taking my picture with her.”

Between their excitement, random questions, and small talk, you spent a good five minutes with the girls before parting ways. Fully aware that they were still watching you as you walked away, you felt slightly self-conscious when Sebastian pulled you into his side, but you were fast to ignore that feeling. Their attention wasn’t vicious, like the press’s attention was.

“You know they’re going to post those pictures all over their Twitter accounts and stuff, right?”

With a shrug, you replied. “Yeah. But it’s fine. They just want to share. They’re not looking for a paycheck. They’re just excited. It’s different.”

“It’ll probably entice the media to start up again.”

“We’ll deal with it. Did you see how happy those girls were? I don’t see much of that in the hospital. It felt good.”

“Mmm, maybe you do need some of that Vitamin-D, you ol’ shut-in.”

It had been a long time since you’d woken up hearing Jasmin’s voice. For a moment, you just laid there, curled up with Sebastian and wondered if you were dreaming. It took you a few seconds to open your eyes, and when you did, you were even more confused.

“Why are you Skyping on my phone?”

“She’s awake!” Jasmin sang, grinning at you as you blinked, trying to wake up.

Seb pulled the phone back enough to capture both of you in the frame. “She was calling and I figured why not.”

“Mmm, I wish I could have seen your face when Seb popped up on your screen instead of me.”

He laughed. “It was pretty great.”

“Look, when I was calling to see if you knew about the tweets, I was not expecting Sebastian Fucking Stan to answer.”

“Not my middle name,” he mumbled teasingly, earning him a nudge from your leg to his.

You were feeling awake enough to finally sit up, so the two of you took a minute to re-situate and you ignored the bright look in Jasmin’s eyes. She and Sean were the worst. Sure, napping together and teasing each other like you and Seb did definitely cross the lines of just friendship, but those two were so damn into teasing you about it.

So you herded off any comments by taking charge of the conversation. “What tweets? Oh! Did those girls post something?”

“Yeah,” Seb started clicking around on your phone, but you quickly took over since he seemed intent on keeping one arm around you and he was definitely not the best at one-handed phone usage. “She texted a screenshot to you.”

“Because both of you are living in the stone age and don’t have Twitter accounts. Seriously, you guys.”

You could only see her in a corner of your phone, now that you were out of the Skype app, so you didn’t really see her reaction when you stuck your tongue out at her.

“Here we go,” you muttered under your breath, waiting for your phone to load the picture.

It finally pulled up the post. Of the few pictures you’d taken, the girl had chosen her favorite and posted it with the caption:

“See?” you said to Seb, turning to him with a smile. “You made her damn day.”

He nodded toward your phone. “Look at the first picture Jaz sent.”

“Is it a post from the other girl?” you wondered aloud as you clicked back.

“No. Actually, the girls found me again while you were in the bathroom and asked if they could post this one.”

Your brow furled. Why would they have to ask permission to post a fan picture? You’d taken those pictures for them.

Then you saw it and understood.

It was a picture the same girl had posted on Instagram of you and Seb, taken from a few feet away. You were facing away from the camera, looking at an exhibit. His arm was securely around your waist with his head turned just enough to be kissing your hair. Without the caption, it could have been anyone in the picture.

11-2-2019 Sebastian Stan and Y/N Y/L/N at the Met. They are both so unbelievably nice and thoughtful. Shandra and I weren’t expecting them to come over to say hi and take pictures with us. Between Sebastian filming and Y/N’s cancer treatment, I’m sure they don’t have much time together, but she made sure we got our pictures anyway! All those articles twisting around her past to make her into some sort of monster can go screw themselves! You hadn’t expected the girls to say anything about you. Beside Sebastian, you were practically invisible, which was always fine with you.

But reading those words brought a smile to your face.

It’s Transformers Prime Time ep2

So last time shit went down. We got introduced to the characters and the setting (which I should note, especially for Cin for whomst is the main reason I am doing this, all this take place in the tiny ass town of Jasper, Nevada). Starscream killed Cliffjumper. Meggles came back from deep space. Optimus droppped the lore that the war was over energon (not mentioning the bid for autonomy? okay)

Also also I forgot to mention that the opening specifically has Optimus mentioning that he and the other autobots are the only autobots remaining on earth. Like this will come to play later but this show really does enforce the perception that like, we are witnessing the end of the war. All these battles we watch are the last, scraping, desperate attempts to win.

Onwards and forwards!

We start with Starscream showing Meggydoodles the energon mines he has seen set up in Meggypoo’s absence. I would like to emphasize how uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what’s the word?? Ah, yes, how UNERRINGLY VITAL energon is to their continued existence. It is their literal food and lifeblood.

This episode also start my extreme #doubt that Megatron is a competent leader in TFP. Oh I can believe it in MTMTE and LL, I’ve read them and we are shown that Megatron in the comics is a capable leader.

What TFP’s Meggyfuck do first thing? Scold Starscream for ordering a vehicon to bring him a sample of energon.

Bitch? Nani the fuck?

Though the shaaaaaade, we stan. He’s so sarcastic in this bit.

Starscream: surely after spending 3 fucking years in space you’ve brought back an army.

Megadoodles stabs Cliffjumper’s dead af body with the space!meth (technicaly name is blood of unicron/dark energon, but space!meth is funnier) and Starscream is not okay with this. Or robo!zombie. Or robo!zombie just casually slaughtering SEVERAL OF THE VEHICONS.

I really cannot emphasize how utterly unimpressed I am with this Megatron. Like he leaves to collect an army, comes back with space!meth, gets offended that Starscream hands out the most innocuous order ever, uses said space!meth to rez a dead autobot and get at least 2 vehicons killed

y’know I have seen multiple people frustrated that a human kid could fix the computer where Ratchet couldn’t. But it honestly kind of makes sense. I mean Raf is, as established, a really smart kid. I caught the implication when he made it apparent that he can understand Bumblebee. He’s familiar with the technology, would have grown up with it. Meanwhile Ratchet, no matter how long he has been on earth, is not familiar.

To rag on Megaowo again: he is really too blase with the concept of blowing up the energon mine. The mine that Starscream had described as basically being the most fruitful.

Yes, great decision, blow up the fucking mine.

At least Starscream’s takeoff was A+

Optimus didn’t consider Earth customs, amazing. Almost got the kids in trouble because of curfew.

Today they saw how evil they are with the chopper show and the choppers and they went to the places and found people and question them it still didn't stop this because they're fighting over the top level stuff that's partially their work most of it is they ride people you never end up with anything either just to do it to everyone in their areas we're going after this warlock they're pulling up tons of Trump's cloning to stop the ass from growing and to stop the ass from existing and soon we'll have tons of it up globally tonight huge ones too that gigantic one up in the Canada is not his but it's going to be used against him because those assholes are planning to attack it cuz they're a bunch of morons. We also see them preparing to try and Lynch our son recently for the past month and he knew about it but they've been trying for years like once a month now once a week so we're going to get in there and break them up all the time. I know I said I don't associate myself with the Panic! fandom anymore, but this is something I have been ACHING to talk about. This is some bad timing, since it was Brent Wilson's birthday recently (yes, his birthday is July 20th, NOT August 20th; source: I've been following him on Twitter for five years and he's actually said this), but this is going to be about Brent and the whole situation with him.

Warning: What I'm about to say about the situation with Brent Wilson (original bassist) is heavily biased, since I do stan him. YEAH. I STAN BRENT MATTHEW WILSON, THE ORIGINAL BASSIST OF PANIC! AT THE DISCO. CRY ABOUT IT. STAY MAD. He's one of the ONLY members of Panic! At The Disco (past and present) who I give a fuck about, besides Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Ian Crawford.

Trigger warning: This will be talking about arrest, jail, drugs (doing and selling), weapons (guns), childbirth, parenthood, and some other things. If these things are triggering for you or make you uncomfortable in any way, you do not have to read this post. Consume media that sparks joy for you.

Disclaimer: I don't know Brent in real life, I'm not in his circle of friends or people he's closest to (like his wife Taylor, his parents, his brother Blake, his in-laws, his irl friends, coworkers, etc.), and this is not me acting like I do. I don't know what his life is like outside of Twitter. The only contact I've ever had with him has been on Twitter, but it was pretty limited.

My thoughts on this situation are MY opinion, any possibilities in my thoughts are just theories and not proven to be true, and I'm not trying to excuse whatever he was allegedly charged with.

Just for the record, I am willing to have a civil conversation with anyone who hates Brent. The minute you attack me or anyone else who likes Brent, or a whole bunch of you start circle jerking about how much you hate him, you're getting blocked. If all you're going to bring up is the shit Brent did when he was in his late teens instead of adding anything useful to the discussion, you're getting blocked too. I already know about that. It happened back in 2004-2006. They were all still kids, to a point. Brent has changed quite a bit since then. The whole "Hate on Brent Wilson" bandwagon is stupid, toxic, and I refuse to jump on it. I've never jumped on it when I was in the Panic! fandom, so why would I do it now?

Remember, without Brent bringing Br3nd0n Ur!3 into Panic!, your precious Br3nd0n wouldn't be successful today. JUST SO YA KNOW. (I'm very salty right now, if you can't already tell.)

If you would like to know about what happened with Brent, a few months ago, he was arrested on (alleged) drug charges and illegal possession of a weapon, along with a traffic violation and something to do with a probation violation too. He was set to go to court back in March for his sentencing, but that's the most recent information I've found. I don't know what the fuck is going on at this point. I don't know if he's been sentenced, if he's doing anything alternative like rehabilitation, nothing. (The reason why I said they're alleged charges is because I don't know if he's even been to court for sentencing or anything like that.)

People's reactions were mixed. Some actually LAUGHED and made a whole bunch of jokes about him being arrested (that's fucking insensitive and cruel). Some felt bad for Brent because he just became a dad (yes, he's a dad, but I'm not posting any pictures of the kid out of respect for Brent and Taylor). Some were shocked. Some weren't surprised (how and why????).

My reaction? It was pretty mixed. I was shocked. I thought I was having a fever dream and what I was seeing was fake at first. When I realized it wasn't fake, I was crushed. I felt absolutely horrible for Brent, Taylor, their kid, and all their loved ones. Like, I care about the guy a lot. Obviously.

Ironically, the band members and/or group members I stan are either the black sheep or they're just not as popular. Or they're the fucking scapegoat almost EVERYONE attacks for the stupidest shit. Brent's the black sheep as well as the scapegoat of Panic!, for example....and I would say that Ian is another black sheep too. Not for any negative reasons. He's simply not as popular, due to the fact he was only in Panic! during the Vices era for a short time. He's underrated as FUCK. I'm one of the black sheep in a lot of places [except for friend groups], even in my own family, so it explains why I stan Brent still.

I just want to say that selling drugs and doing drugs aren't inherently bad things to do. This doesn't mean that I'm for kids doing drugs and selling them. Absolutely not. I want people who do drugs or sell drugs to be treated like human beings. I also want them to be able to seek help easier without the judgment or being treated like a criminal. Personally, I don't do any of that, but I understand why someone would. (This kind of thing hits home for me.)

As far as the whole weapon thing is concerned (it was a gun), I personally don't like them and we need better gun control in the United States. I don't think I'd trust anyone who owns a gun because of the possibility that they would hurt me or worse in an argument or something. I've seen my abuser threaten to pull a gun out on my dad when I was a kid. Thankfully it wasn't loaded, but still. It was scary. I wouldn't own a gun because I'm autistic, mentally ill, and I'm afraid of what I might do in certain situations. If someone wants to own a gun for protection, hunting, target practice, or to collect them, fine. BUT YOU DON'T NEED A HUGE ASS GUN THAT THE MILITARY USES TO GO HUNTING OR FOR TARGET PRACTICE. I don't like them, I don't want one, I don't trust myself with one, guns scare me, and I want better gun control in the United States. It terrifies me that people openly carry. I understand that's the Second Amendment and all, but it doesn't change the fact that it terrifies me. As long as you're responsible with that kind of thing, I don't really care.

I don't know what Brent's reason was for (allegedly) owning a weapon (maybe for protection or something?), but it's none of my business.

In my opinion, this is all stupid shit. There are people who have done horrible things and they're STILL free people, but oh, god forbid you do or sell drugs! THAT'S bad. /s

Here's my response below. I'll type out everything, except for the disclaimers and what he was arrested for. I will start from the fifth paragraph on the first screenshot and continue from there. This is so anyone who has a hard time reading any of the screenshots can read them easier.

First screenshot, fifth paragraph:

First off, I just want to say that this situation is a fucked up one for anyone to be in. I would never wish this on anyone. Especially because now, there's a baby involved, so this makes the situation worse. This is pretty difficult for me to put into words without coming off as bitchy or anything like that, so if I get bitchy here, I apologize.

Second screenshot, fifth paragraph:

I don't know what caused this mess to begin with, but I do know that Brent and his wife Taylor just had a baby a couple months ago (when I was typing this out initially). While it's a good thing for them, it can be assumed that this is also a very stressful time for them.

Combination of third and fourth screenshots (These are pretty much only theories; not facts, and they will be broken up into paragraphs):

The pandemic most likely isn’t helping their case. Las Vegas is a HUGE city and I’m sure A LOT of people there are REALLY struggling right now in all aspects. Maybe Brent and Taylor are struggling to pay off hospital bills or whatever (to put this into perspective, the average cost for hospital childbirth in Nevada is around $21,239, according to CBS News). The average salary for an accountant in Nevada is anywhere from $34k to $150k, and that all depends on education, experience (how long you’ve been in said career), certifications, and any additional skills. Take into account any other necessities they have to pay for, like their mortgage, bills, insurance, etc.

Let’s say that they did manage to pay everything else off, but they’re struggling to pay the hospital bills from when they had their baby. (Having a baby is fucking expensive in the United States, regardless of whether there are complications or not, and regardless of whether you have insurance or not.) Let’s say they’ve tried every single option out there, but nothing seems to give still. Maybe the drug selling was a last resort on Brent’s part. (As I’ve said, I don’t know the full story.)

The whole subject of drug paraphernalia hits home for me. My parents both did drugs when I was a kid. I’ve seen it a lot growing up. My dad was, in the past, in and out of jail for drugs and other things that aren’t relevant here. I’m not sure if my mom was in and out of jail for the same shit, but I know for a fact my dad was. Y’know, because he told me. ANYWAYS.

I get it. You gotta do what you gotta do. It’s not something I’d do personally, but I understand why somebody would do it. I wouldn’t treat them any differently. Maybe they’re selling drugs or whatever to keep themselves from losing their homes, put food on the table for their families, help pay their bills, pay for their education, whatever. It could be a number of things.

Fifth screenshot (people’s reactions to the news and my thoughts on them):

Now...let’s move on to how people are reacting to the news. There’s a lot of mixed reactions. A lot of people feel bad for Brent, especially since he and Taylor just had a baby a couple months ago (as I was typing this). Some people “aren’t surprised” because they were never fans of him in the first place. Others think this is amusing. I’ve seen some people who are solely involved in celebrity news (similar to TMZ) making jokes about the situation, which to me, is appalling.

Let me tell you something. It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of Brent or not. This shit isn’t funny or cute in the slightest. It sure isn’t funny or cute to anyone who is being affected by the situation, which includes Brent himself, Taylor, their son, and all their loved ones. Like, full stop. Have some decency. Y’all are fucking gross. You can dislike Brent all you want, but he’s a real human being who fucked up. Personally, when I first heard the news, I couldn’t believe it at first. I thought I was having a fever dream. That is, until I looked it up and actually found that it was true. I was CRUSHED. Why? Because Brent is one of the last people I’d even expect to get into this whole mess.

If I’m being honest here...like, BRUTALLY honest, Brent needs to be put in REHAB, not jail. For anyone who has been here (on my Instagram) from when I used to dedicate this account to vintage Panic!, you know how I’ve never said anything but kind things about Brent. From the few times I’ve interacted with him a little bit on Twitter and from how I’ve seen him interact with others on the site, Brent is one of the sweetest people ever. I’m being genuine here. He’s a good guy who fucked up and did some dumb shit. Does that make him bad? No. Then again, as far as I’ve read about the current situation at hand, it’s too early to really determine anything. None of us know what caused him to have drug paraphernalia or anything else that he was arrested for in the first place.

I’m gonna wrap this up here. My heart aches for Brent, Taylor, their son, and all their loved ones. I hope that everything gets straightened out, all sides of the story come out, and that Brent can get his shit together again. Like he had been doing since he was kicked out of Panic!. I wish everyone involved nothing but the absolute best right now, given how fucked up the whole situation is. (Just to clear up any confusion, when I was referring to Taylor, I’m NOT referring to Taylor Swift or any other celebrity with the name Taylor. I’m referring to Brent’s wife.)

Have my thoughts on the situation changed since February - March of this year? No.

I think that Brent needs some kind of help. That's why I mentioned rehab. It's obvious to me that's the kind of help he needs. I don't believe jail is helpful in certain circumstances (like drug charges, traffic violations, and other nonviolent crimes)....at least in the United States. They treat people who do drugs and/or sell drugs like they're subhuman. Yet there are people who have committed violent, deplorable, horrific crimes, and they're still free people. Funny how that works. I'm not too educated about how the jail system works in other countries, so I can't exactly tell you how I feel about that system on an international standpoint.

Brent should be with his wife and child. I hope the guy gets his shit together again. I believe Brent WILL get his shit together. Genuinely. I would never wish anything bad on him.

I don't crucify Brent like a lot of people in the Panic! fandom do. The only reason I would hypothetically do so is if Brent actually committed violent, deplorable, horrific crimes (i.e., chomo bullshit, trafficking...like, extreme shit) that would warrant him being locked up and I'd drop him completely at that point. OBVIOUSLY I DON'T SEE HIM DOING ANYTHING LIKE THAT. EVER. THAT'S JUST HYPOTHETICAL.
