Being an anarchist means:
You oppose Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
You oppose Russian imperialism in Eastern Europe
You oppose British colonialist presence in Ireland
You oppose Chinese oppression of Tibetans and Ugyghrs
You oppose American capitalistic exploitation of Africa and South America.
You oppose Iranian persecution of religious minorities.
You oppose ANY form of hierarchy, hegemony, or monopoly.
Being an anarchist means you either fight for the absolute freedom and equity of all humanity, or you just sit on your hands praying the "elites" show you their non-existent mercy.

Who said this? A zionist or a Nazi?
Quiz here

Let's repost with our answers folks. Mine is 10/20 cause I got confused which one was a Nazi quote and which one was a Zionist quote. The similarities didn't surprise me at all.

Operation Gladio: The CIA’s Secret Nazi-Collaborating Terror Armies in Europe & Beyond
Collaboration between the US and fascists is a pattern that stretches back to the end of World War II and NATO’s founding, when the US and British intelligence services established a secret far-right terror network armies across NATO countries made up of fascists, Nazi collaborators and actual Nazis.

Brazil Cracks Down on Surprising New Threat: Neo-Nazis
The Brazilian government has raided neo-Nazi groups across 10 states this year, part of a push by the new Lula administration to prosecute far-right extremists.
Tumblr media
In southern Brazil in July, Laureano Toscani and João Guilherme Correa were smoking cigarettes along a busy road in their prison-issued garb, shorts and sandals, waiting for a ride after seven months in jail.
Mr. Toscani was once convicted of stabbing a group of Jewish men, and Mr. Correa has been accused of murdering a couple leaving a party. But this time, they were behind bars for attending what they said was a harmless barbecue.
The Brazilian authorities, however, say it was something far more sinister: a meeting of the Hammerskins, a neo-Nazi group founded in Dallas in 1988 that they say has recently found its way thousands of miles south, to Brazil’s most starkly conservative region, reflecting a surge in far-right extremists in Latin America’s largest nation.
In September 2022, the state police in Santa Catarina began trailing the Hammerskins as members strategized on how to attract new recruits.
Two months later, as eight men met at a farmhouse outside the coastal city of Florianópolis, a police hate-crimes unit burst in, arresting everyone under anti-discrimination laws and accusing them of being members of the Hammerskins. Two other accused members were arrested weeks later.
On the members’ phones, the police said, they found antisemitic and racist content, including a message that one had sent in a group chat saying that “Black people need to die every day.” The police said they believed the group was aided by at least two American Hammerskin members who had traveled to Brazil several times.
The raid was part of a larger crackdown on neo-Nazi groups amid a rise in extremist movements and sentiments in Brazil that has spurred a greater number of school shootings and stabbing attacks, including at least 11 this year.

Interesting how almost all internet radicalism, both left and right, can be summarized as 'views of the people who haven't lived enough'. It is easy to argue about 'fairness' of AI art if you never had your art stolen. It is easy to argue that 'businesses must be seized by the proletariat' if you have never had any business, not even an Etsy shop. Incels argue against the rights of women because they haven't seen any outside of porn and/or videogames. White people just haven't seen any blacks, the dire state their community is in. People who don't support Ukraine and argue in favor russia's appeasement because they have never been invaded. All abstract, all detached, all juvenile and cruel and gleefully overconfident like every goddamn child. It is easy to feel like a prophet and a nihilist as a teen living in your parents' basement. Everyone had this phase. But the moment you start actually LIVING, life will entangle you in a million of circumstances, it will give you painstakingly achieved results that you will WANT to protect. When you are a kid, you have nothing but the rules imposed on you and it's easy for you to think that there isn't anything in the world at all. A child thinks in negatives - to rebel, to destroy, because all it has was made by someone else. But the moment you create something for yourself, you become an adult and stop being destructive. And such, your almighty nihilism dies. We are indeed the most powerful at our most ignorant and most detached. But it's not the way to live one's life. Grow up. Start living. Create something to protect.

Letting Nazis into a government is like deliberately bringing in termites into a completely wooden house. The wooden house is the democracy and the safety of the people. They will start breaking down the wooden house, and the middleclass/upper class conservative people who allowed them in and even put them inside of the walls will profit. At least they think they will.
And one day the house will collapse if they are not removed completely. It might be in a year or 4 or faster but the house will come down.
Say it with me "why the hell is a nazi party allowed in a democratic government?"

It’s taken more than a couple years to finally talk about it publicly. I was embarrassed and ashamed for a multitude of reasons. Chief among them were I didn’t see the warning signs, and I stayed longer than I should have. Living in this house for 3 months and a little over a week, with this “former” Nazi and their partner was emotional and psychological abuse. It’s not my fault what happened, but I think there are many who can connect with what we logically know to be true, and what the fun things your PTSD will try to say otherwise.
I tried to be quiet and hope they reap what they sow, but it’s been almost half a decade. Nothing has changed. These people move in circles filled with marginalized communities across the spectrum of sociological differences. Most of those groups were ones this ex Nazi either beat up, verbally harassed or assaulted. He portends to be a champion of these groups now, but he still holds these ugly views and uses unspeakable language about these communities in private. The thought of someone being put in the harm I was put in, or worse, makes me sick. I am ashamed I was quiet for so long.
But I’m not quiet anymore. Change has to start somewhere. And I suppose if I get my head blown off, I’d rather it be for doing the right thing.
Rules:
1. I can’t use their real names. I don’t even know if I should use mine. I don’t believe in giving Nazis and their collaborators privacy, but I do believe in keeping my family safe until I know I have a system in place to ensure their safety, should I ever decide to disclose that information.
2. If you’re here to play devil’s advocate…I very respectfully ask you to not. You will be blocked after the first warning or immediately, depending on the content of your argument. My life, my experience, the things I witnessed first hand…they’re not pedantic internet arguments. They’re real. They happened. And 3 psychosocial professionals have all separately confirmed this shit. So…please just don’t. Or do it somewhere else.
3. This is hard shit to talk about. I’ll try to use trigger warnings as best I can. If you have suggestions/tips/tricks for that, please let me know. Because it’s hard to talk about, updates will probably not be frequent.
4. The purpose of this blog is to educate through one person’s lived experience on living with this level of darkness, getting out, and healing. There is no intent whatsoever for attention, pity, sympathy, revenge, justice, or anything of that sort. This is to use myself as a learning tool for others so they do not fall into the same traps I fell into. It’s not a definitive guide of advice. I am human, and concede that I am very far from perfect. But I am a human who genuinely loves many people who come from these marginalized communities, and the thought of them in harm’s way terrifies me in ways I can’t adequately put into words.

Asking everyone, very graciously, to please refrain from using the word SWASTIKA when referring to the symbol used by Nazis/Nazism. That's not the correct term.
The term you're looking for is HAKENKREUZ.
Swastika/Swastik is an ancient symbol which is holy and sacred to Hindus (and other ancient cultures). We Hindus still use it in our rituals, and it's highly offensive to us to see the use of the word Swastika in relation to Nazis.
It's a symbol of auspiciousness and prosperity, of good luck and celebration. Let it remain so in the collective consciousness. Please don't kill its true meaning by perpetuating the hateful theivery of Nazis.
Thank you.

Neo-Nazi groups multiply in a more conservative Brazil
Tumblr media
Last November, just hours before a social gathering for Haitian immigrants in the town of Itajai in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, event organizer Andrea Muller received a chilling message.
"Cancel the Haiti exhibition or we will commit a massacre," read the subject line of the email, seen by Reuters.
"Santa Catarina is a land of WHITE PEOPLE, FOR WHITE PEOPLE," the anonymous sender wrote, signing off with the Nazi salute "SIEG HEIL."
Ultimately, the event went ahead without any problems and with police present. Yet the email, which police in Santa Catarina are still investigating, is indicative of a small but rising number of cases of neo-Nazism in Brazil that have increased as far-right politics flourished during former President Jair Bolsonaro's 2019-2023 term.
Bolsonaro, a former army captain, was widely criticized for his long-standing defense of Brazil's military dictatorship from 1964 to 1985, his anti-democratic attacks on the country's voting system in last year's election and policies that critics say endangered the country's indigenous peoples.
Brazil's Federal Police said the number of investigations opened into alleged incitement of neo-Nazism had jumped since 2019, with a "significant increase" this year.

Katara made it very clear that she never ever wants to see Yon Rah again and most of the Zutara fandom supports that decision of hers.
So I guess the possible downside of Katara choosing to marry Zuko means sharing Zuko's burden of reforming and rehabilitating depraved war criminals like Yon Rha and all those who are even worse than him.
Then there's this whole thing with Aaron Ehasz imagining Zuko being Azula's Iroh and she reforms in that way along with my and a few other's ideas of Aang showing her how open and master her own chakras. Speaking of Iroh, does anyone remember his ruthless and brutal 600-day siege anymore? There's no way he'd avoid dropping bodies that whole time.
Looks like Katara will ironically be taking Aang's advice about forgiveness after all but I don't think it'll be necessary for Katara to look for Yon Rah again and say so.
What do you think?
Tw: War crimes, genocide and nazism.
Disclaimer: I don't know what actually happened post canon. I tried to look on internet forums and it seems as the topic wasn't addressed in the comics. For this answer, I'm going under this assumption.
Sorry for not getting to this sooner, life got busy and I didn't want to give some half assed answer to such a delicate topic. There's a lot to comment on so I'll break this down step by step.
"Katara choosing to marry Zuko means sharing Zuko's burden of reforming and rehabilitating depraved war criminals"...
The fire nation commited atrocious war crimes, leaving them with with many war criminals. War crimes are more than punishable. If it were real life, neither Katara or Zuko would have to reform and rehabilitate any of them.
An example of this would be the Nuremberg trials after WW2. Even recently, in 2022, Irmgard Furchner (an 98 year old women) faced a trial for being a secretary of a concentration camp (to put it lightly, she was very much a murderer). No one is getting away with their actions.
I read the relevant section from a Red Cross's document titled "Analysis of the punishments applicable to international crimes (war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide) in domestic law and practice". (The section being "States’ obligations under IHL to prosecute and punish international crimes").
I found something interesting. (ID in alt text).
Tumblr media
*Grave breaches are more serious, vile violations of humananitarian law. Everything above applies to "genocide and crimes against humanity".
If Katara were in a position of power in the Fire Nation, not only would she not have to reform anyone, she also might get to help with the trials for them.
"Then there's this whole thing with Aaron Ehasz imagining Zuko being Azula's Iroh"
I don't know about his plans for Aang's other ideas, so I can't comment on them. What I did find was a short thread of his. And after reading it, I maintain that – like most ideas – his vision can work with sensitive execution.
Azula was still very much a 14 year old victim of grooming when the series took place. Her brother can help her through her redemption under one condition – the desire to be better should come from her.
He shouldn't sit through any mistreatment whatsoever. He'll guide her through a path he already went through, but she has to walk with him. Azula needs to be safe for Zuko. Only then, redemption would be possible.
"does anyone remember [Iroh's] ruthless and brutal 600-day siege anymore?"
The difference between Iroh and Yon Rah is what they're up to now. In the present Yon Rah is just some guy living with his mother. Meanwhile Iroh took back Ba Sing Se from Fire Nation colonizers.
Yon Rah isn't out here fixing his mistakes, he just got off scot-free. On the other hand, Iroh is a changed man and took action to correct his past on the same scale.
At the end of the day redemtion isn't Aang's idea. It's one of the major themes of Atla. It wants to show that people can change and grow. So it does. Zuko changes, Mai changes, Ty Lee changes, and Iroh is their future.
He tried to conquer Ba Sing Se, and now he took it back from conquerors. He was the worst of them all, and now he's unrecognizable. He's warm, wise and sweet. There's a meaning to it.
That doesn't mean that war criminals in the current day, scums who made no affort, will get away with their crimes. That doesn't mean Katara would have to go through the mental torture of reforming her colonizers.
That is it! I hope I didn't come off as aggressive, I didn't mean to. Thank you for the ask, sorry for taking me forever to write this, and have a lovely day!

If you think harder, you realize that every 'dire' political problem is a problem of insufficient law/lack of protection under the law/incorrect laws or corrupt law enforcers and not politics. 'We must vote left because the far right wants to kill us!' Can you first explain me how far right views are even legitimate in our day? The blacks, women, gays, disabled people having rights is CONSTITUTIONAL. Why must we argue for the RIGHT to exist? And also...how the hell this right to exist is LEFTIST??? What does normal human desire not to be discriminated against, shot, raped is LEFTIST? Left ideas, generally, are connected to the economy. Right ideas, also, are mostly related to the economy. But people on both left and right aren't arguing about the economy. They are arguing about the only thing that SHOULDN'T BE ARGUED FUCKING ABOUT - THE RIGHT OF PEOPLE TO EXIST. To have jobs, to marry, to be free to walk this earth without harm.
It is insane that we allowed the right to have Unconstitutional ideas as feasible. And it is insane that we allowed The Left to manipulate our natural anger and pain, our despair into making us support policies THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH US. And often, are actively harmful. 'Oh you want equal rights for women? Say North Korea is free!' 'Want Black liberation? Support Russian Invasion against Ukraine!' 'Are you LGBT? Great, now say how Stalin is a daddy even though the USSR killed thousands of gay people!'
Every 'discussion' that puts citizens rights as 'negotiable' is a manipulation and a blackmail.
Rights aren't political.

Dorothy Thompson, a columnist for the Herald Tribune and host of a nationally syndicated radio program, was one of the few American journalists who recognized Hitler for the danger he was. Despite being ridiculed, she wrote and broadcasted repeated warnings about the Nazi threat throughout the 1930s. In 1939, she was ejected from a German-American Bund (American Nazi Party) rally for heckling the speakers. Here, she receives an ovation as she speaks at a "tolerance meeting" at Carnegie Hall, March 3, 1939, which was held in response to the Bund rally. She addressed a capacity crowd.
