I'm so happy to see someone actually call out the obvious grooming in Marcel and Rebekah's relationship. Seriously, the worst part is people use that ship to uplift a white woman (the groomer) in a very, uh wack and racist way.

Even a TO writer said this relationship was weird, especially the origin
but the writers didnt care about the poc characters enough to give them decent love stories. Marcel and Cami were cute but even then it was just a plot device for klaus to be jealous and then they just fizzled out in s2 (theres a whole episode worth of Marcille deleted scenes)
Vincent's love interests were all killed or just written off, where tf did that momma from s4 go...no one knows. Yusuf Gatewood even said he thought vincent was in love with Cami but the writers refused to explore it...and then he just became the freelin surrogate
DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON FREELIN.....if that ship has one hater....its me
notice how the 3 main POC characters were only allowed happy endings as long as it was connected to the mikaelsons
anyways i went off topic lmfao but yeah Marcel deserved better than what he got. Bex couldve easily been given another love interest or not one at all, considering Cl*ire was barely in the show

Saying that Freya doesn’t deserve criticism for situations she actively participated in and putting all the blame on the other siblings, when she herself is no better than them, is hilarious. Firstly, both her and Elijah willingly sacrificed a child to save their own and showed no remorse. Viewed Marcel as the enemy and even made it clear that she wouldn’t hesitate to kill him to protect family. Even though Marcel was family himself, but as we know with all the Mikaelsons besides Klaus and Hope, that if you’re not blood, you don’t matter.
She kidnapped and tortured a Keelin, her Stockholm Syndrome victim, and refused to let her go even when they had enough of her venom, all in the name of paranoia. She was willing to let Hope bind her werewolf and agreed with Hope to place the Hollow back into her, not once thinking how that could have been a death sentence for her niece. She was enabling a desperate teenager’s terrible choices that could have completely destroyed her. Stated how Hope didn’t need her innocence. Even though Freya herself understood what it was like to lose her childhood, but she didn’t care.
Not to mention, Hope became a second thought once Freya had the prospects of starting a family of her own and completely abandoned Hope along with the rest of the Mikaelsons. So yes, while Freya may not have done as many atrocities as her siblings, she’s still done actions that are allowed to be criticized, rightfully so.

Don’t you think Bonnie and Marcel would be a badass duo? Like when she’s with Klaus. She’d have to beat his ass for what he did to the witches though.
Yeah, I have to agree with this Boncel would be a fun duo. I could see them calling each other out on their own hypocrisies. Admiring each other for how loyal they are to other people. Bonnie would snap on him for deeming other witches to servitude. Bonnie LOVED meeting other witches (Lucy, Liv and Nora) she’d be elated to finally be able to connect with other women or men that are like her. Or meet other vampires that aren’t so Salvatore-type. Bonnie was friends with several vampires don’t see why she wouldn’t take a liking to Marcel after she got to know him. In a Klonnie sense of things Marcel would find it ironic was almost killed and then saved by a self-taught Bennett witch. I believe Bonnie would’ve sided with Klaus on his thoughts of Marcel and Rebekah’s relationship.
Kat was open to appearing on The Originals in the past but changed her mind after TVD ended. We all know why.
You didn’t ask this part but I do want to say I do find it strange some people think Bonnie going to NOLA is a good idea only if she remains in the “Anti-Mikaelson bubble” (Davina, Vincent, Marcel etc) circle not interacting with anyone else. It’s okay if Bonnie shows up to play the savior but not okay if she hypothetically decided to talk to the Mikaelson’s for whatever reason. Bonnie does canonically know the Mikaelson’s and her bloodline through Ayana did have a past with them. It’s always “I love Bonnie,” until it’s time to think out the box for Bonnie. Everyone in the anti-Mikaelson group ends up tied to a Mikaelson permanently anyways. So I don’t get what’s the excuse for why Bonnie couldn’t make connections. Vincent has a child with Freelin, Marcel does end up with Rebekah and same for Kol and Davina.
That’s all I’m going to say there.

I used to like Freya Mikaelson. However her attitude and character itself is beginning to annoy me. It seems that she’s almost a fill-in character for Rebekah in The Originals.
Example 1: Rebekah was Hope’s sole guardian for the first eight months in her life. Rebekah sacrificed a lot to get rid of The Hallow in Hope. Yet Freya is the closer aunt to Hope???
Example 2: Freya is seen as the “do anything for her family character”. When Rebekah was really the O.G. Rebekah was the one pulling Klaus and Elijah together, she was the one who really cared about the extended family members when Freya didn’t really seem to care too much about Hayley or Marcel.
Example 3: Freya somehow has a better relationship with Elijah and Klaus than Rebekah, who spent hundreds of years with them?? How does that make sense. Rebekah deserved to have that relationship growth tbh. She deserved to have Klaus and Elijah walk her down the isle like they did with Freya.
I’m a little annoyed at all this plus other things that happened with Freya. It would have been so much better if they gave Freya more than the one personality trait of protecting her family. It goes a little too far sometimes. With Freya choosing her family over Keelin, the woman she loves, when Keelin IS family. Make it make sense.

FACT: Basically every single ship in TVD/TO is toxic trash. Don’t get me wrong; I ship some of them, but they ARE trash. To name some of the worst offenders? Delena. Jicki/Veremy--a serious power imbalance and she used him for sex and drugs. YUCK. Carlaric? Alaric used to be her teacher, and their “relationship” was based on her being FORCED to carry his twins as an unwilling surrogate; yeah nothing inappropriate about that. Marbekah--adoptive aunt and nephew in a sexual relationship. FREELIN. I will never stop screaming about how gross this relationship is, and I don’t care who gets mad. Klamille (this is one I actually ship, but facts are facts). Klaus kinda stalked her, first of all, and then we all know he compelled her multiple times, forced her to be his stenographer and stole chunks of time, making her think she was going insane.

The Worst (and Best) Part of The Originals 4x11 and 4x12
I was late on 4x11 so I put them together.
Note: If you like Hayley, Elijah, Freya, Davina, Kolvina, Freya/Keelin. or Haylijah and don’t care to hear counter opinions and that makes you aggressive and mean then this isn’t something you’re interested in, I’m going to have to ask you to move along :D I’m entitled to my opinions as you are yours. Any aggression targeted at me because I don’t ship what you ship or like who you like will be treated with demeaning responses.
You have been warned.
Side Note: I have nothing against any of the actors (or the writers), these are solely my opinions, which I’m entitled to have.
If you have anything to include, feel free to add your own thoughts.
I’m putting this under a Read More so people who don’t want to see this doesn’t have to.
1. I still feel bringing Davina back is a weak ass retcon and I really don’t care about her living again. Booooring. Oooh Davina’s going to suffer if the Hollow dies? Still don’t care about Davina being back. Honestly, she’s just becoming more and more of a crappy remake of Bonnie. I mean, Bonnie had justified anger. Davina’s angry at the world and is quickly killing any sympathy that I’ve had for her.
2. Oh, look, Haylijah bullshit. Here comes me not caring again. Last scene we saw of them was her being afraid of him. Which is bullshit in itself but whatever.
3. Oh, Elijah’s been gone for a few days and the pendant can’t hold Elijah. It held Finn for how long before he came back? But Elijah’s been in for a day, if that, and it can’t hold him. Lemme call bullshit. That’s some straight up bullshit. Honestly, I think we need a bit of a break from Elijah and his bullshit. If anything, we should have been seeing him dealing with being in the pendant but no. It was breaking (which was stupid but whatever).
4. Calling Kol to help with the totem when he has said totem. That’s not cliche or anything at all. The characters don’t know that, but I’m sorry, the writers should know better.
5. Rebekah continues to be the best and I love her. Queen Rebekah deserves the best and she’s coming correct with the lines this season.
6. This show rides Hayley’s nonexistent dick so hard sometimes. It’s exhausting me.
7. “Compel her a nanny”. Fuck. You. Freya.
8. “I can’t take a little girl’s mother”. But you can take her father. Please, shut the fuck up, Davina. Your double standards are bullshit. You had shitty parents and you should be more inclined to appreciate someone trying to be better for their kid, something your parents didn’t do. But, no, you tried to justifying killing Klaus even though he had seldom to do with your death. But you’re cool with Hayley the, what, two minutes you spent with her. Why does everyone seem to like Hayley even though she has a shitty personality? Seriously. Oh, right. She a huge Mary Sue, that’s why. Everyone loves her, even though she does some terrible shit and tries to justify it.
She killed 12 of her friends for a fucking flash drive, but she’s somehow a lot more reliable than Klaus and basically anyone else. Okay. Sure.
9. YOU’RE GOING TO USE YOUR NIECE TO FUCKING UNLINK YOUR GIRLFRIEND FROM THE HOLLOW ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! This Kolvina bullshit is making me so unbelievably sick. Davina being the center of his universe after knowing and dating her for a few months (if that) and five years later he’s obsessing over her. What the hell is so special about her? And using her as Kol’s redemption is total bullshit. After him bitching about how his family excludes him, how am I suppose to feel sympathy when he pulls shit like that?
10. Hayley and Freya, two people I don’t give a shit about. Yay, that means I can ignore this. Cause fuck these two. Fuck these two people in particular. Both of them make me sick.
11. Oh, look how quick they were put out of commission. That’s so cute. And you thought you were just going to get the drop on the Hollow.
12. “I’m not suppose to do magic with strangers” DAMNNNNNNN!! Hope done told you Kol. (Note: I love Kol Mikaelson. I just don’t like Kolvina or Davina). Get some ice for that burrrrrrrrn.
13. Kol betrayed Klaus and Klaus is now pissed off. God damn. I want to know what he was expecting.
14. “Is he [Elijah] good to you?” Guess what? I DON’T CARE! All the shits I give, Hayley isn’t one of them. Honestly, I appreciated her having a personality but it’s also being very high and mighty and going against what she’s done in the past. I’m sorry, but there is nothing... nothing... That could have happened in those five years that could justify her getting on an even higher horse than she was already on.
15. Corrupting a memory of Jackson. I wasn’t expecting that, god damn. Good job, Hollow. I approve, despite the fact that you’re not really even vaguely threatening when you speak.
16. Guess who’s back, back, back, back again, gain, gain. Jack is back, back, back. And he’s kicking Hayley’s ass.
17. Freya and Keelin is still lackluster for me. Mostly, because Keelin deserves better. And it feels kind of forced. I don’t know. Maybe the whole Stockholm Syndrome isn’t a winning trope for me. Now I know she’s not being held hostage anymore but that doesn’t change what a raging bitch Freya was. Why does the show think that to be a strong, female character that means you have to be the hugest bitch in the universe.
18. Kol and his reasons. Honestly, you’re betraying your family when giving them a bit of a heads up would have helped immensely. Klaus probably wouldn’t be as pissed. But again, season 2 he was bitching about how he was trusted or treated like a part of the family but then he turns around and does this for someone he’s only known for a little over five years.
19. I stop paying attention with Davina on screen. It’s so I don’t start screaming and so this list won’t devolve into only cuss words.
20. Klaus is right and he doesn’t owe Davina shit. Especially after she tried to justify killing him. Fuck her. “But she was killed over him” Yeah, well, Klaus didn’t kill her. He’s not the one who killed her and, like I said before, Elijah would have been good enough to be killed instead but that was a personal vendetta against Klaus. But Davina gets a happy ending even though she doesn’t really deserve it. “But she died” Okay? And? How many times did Bonnie die and she still got fucked over? The female characters on this show just get away with too much shit and it makes me sick.
21. Kol got to me. And I feel for him, but I honestly can’t feel for Davina. I love Kol and his heart breaking makes me hurt, but I really just don’t like Davina and how she’s forgiven for the things she does.
22. Why was Hayley afraid of Elijah again? Fucking psycho murder bitch right there. Hayley goes over kill and she tore people limb from limb but she’s afraid of Elijah. Hey, I want Haylijah dead as much as the next anti Haylijah person, but when shit don’t make sense, I gotta call that out. Gafuck yourself, Hayley Marshall.
23. Rebekah/Marcel feels. <3 I still love them so.
24. Kolvina still is something that makes me feel numb in this show. Neither of them really suffered enough to warrant a happy ending. The ancestors wanted to destroy Davina’s soul and yet somehow she survived that. Whatever. Just... what the fuck ever.
25. Did anyone else notice that Davina didn’t even try to go and see Marcel before just running off with Kol? Where’s that love you claimed that you had for him? This just proves to me how ungrateful Davina is. Am I really going to have to make an anti list for her? It’s bad enough I gotta do it for Hayley, but now her? This just proves that Cami is the best non-Mikaelson woman and this godforsaken show. When she turned into a vampire sure she was a royal bitch, but at least she wasn’t fucking ungrateful.
26. Another Hayley scene that I don’t give a damn about. -insert me whistling-
27. Possessed Hope. Never would have guessed it! (sarcasm).
28. Vincent is finally back which makes this episode better than the last two. Proof that Vincent makes everything better is that I actually am getting hyped for this episode. Woooooo!
29. Elijah throwing a fit over Hayley. I only have one thing to say to Elijah: Katherine.
30. Hayley not talking to Elijah because? Oh, she’s scared of him. Bitch, get over yourself.
31. Rebekah<3 My love for her is endless and god I hope some goodness comes to her, please.
32. Keelin is too good for Freya. Not even a sex scene can mend that. Freya is just a fucking horrible person and I can’t take it and she doesn’t deserve a relationship or need one for that matter. The thought of her being romantic with anyone is enough to make me want to spit acid.
33. Hayley always wants to demand attention even if there are pressing matters. This has not changed at all in the last five years.
34. Hayley running away from Elijah. Down with Haylijah! Down with Haylijah!
35. Hayley saw monster!Elijah and I’m just like bitch... You’ve done some horrible shit. Get off your high horse.
36. Freya’s death speech. She’s tethered to Klaus. They never broke her immortality bullshit so...? What the hell is she talking about? Her immortality never stopped. She’s still immortal. That’s why Dahlia tethered herself to Klaus, so she wouldn’t have to sleep to remain immortal. Freya is still immortal. Did the writers forget about that or something?
37. “I want you to take Hayley and Hope away from this”. You’re in no position to be telling anyone anything. Especially not Hope. You are not Hope’s father and it pisses me off when he acts like it. Get the fuck out of here.

39. Freya/Keelin is still just so half assed to me. At least that’s how I feel...

Kai parker legacies your take ?
Hey, anon!
Okay, let me preface this first I don’t really watch legacies(yet at least) I mainly view/read from social-media with that show so if I say something wrong feel free to correct me.
I actually think Kai is one of the best villains in tvdu. Chris portrayal of him in general perfect. I wish legacies could’ve ignored the monster-like plot line for at least one ep and made it more into a Kai vs. The Saltzmans instead of Kai “bonding” with just Josie? I have heard that dark!josie was supposed to be inspired by Katherine and seen takes about how she’s more like Kai than Lizzie is so that could’ve been there reason. Imo, it just should’ve been a Kai vs. The Saltzmans thing.
Now, onto the other part. We learn that Kai had sexual relationship with Jade in the prison worlds. Of course he’s finally allowed to have any kind of physical or romantic relationship when the other partner is white & no where near resembling to Bonnie. When he originally spent most of his time with Bonnie..As if the writing couldn’t tailor a sexual/romantic relationship for Bonkai? They were already in the prison world for awhile so why was their relationship just so antagonistic? the writers just didn’t want the black girl to be lusted/adored after.
While we on the topic of bonkai what really makes that ship so different from other ships such Freelin/Delena/Klaroline/Kolvina etc?
“Bonnie completely hated Kai.” Hm, so did all the other women in these ships? What’s your point? It’s just that Bonnie is the only character to say she dislikes a character and it remained that way which we know why! I like bonkai. I’m not telling anyone what to ship or not ship. But they had the chemistry and the potential had they been pushed. Bonkai shippers get slandered often for shipping them together when it’s the same template for the other pairings in the show. This isn’t to excuse Kai’s actions either..but those characters got to get married/have kids etc…To add I wish people understood what you FICTIONALLY like does not equal to your in real life morals and you shouldn’t be penalized for enjoying something fictionally. I hope that gives an answer you were looking for!

I ship Freelin because of their chemistry and potential, but omg their narrative is just getting worse and worse
So, after apologising for taking away Keelins freewill, and for kidnapping and hurting her, Freya traps Keelin, takes away her freewill, and Keelin... what? Accepts it and moves on? I highkey hope they break up in the finale bc Freya needs to check herself before getting back together, and Keelin needs a damn storyline.

Who do you think would be Bonnie's best friend in NOLA outside of the Mikaelsons? I think if Bonnie were around the 'anti Mikaelson crew' wouldn't even be that anti Mikaelson since she would be able to stop at least some of the bloodshed
The thing about the “Anti-Mikaelson crew” is that they all are canon-wise still connected to the Mikaelson’s no matter how much they dislike some aspects of them. Davina doesn’t like them besides Kol and Hope. There isn’t a close bond between her, Hayley and Rebekah. Freya and Elijah sacrificed her. Klaus is self explanatory. But she is connected to the family through Marcel and Kol. Marcel’s plenty anti Elijah and Klaus (and the others it varies) but is married to Rebekah. One could compare the growth in Vincent and Freya’s relationship to Bamon and even then he’s the father of Freelin’s child. Hayley is pretty anti-Klaus as needed, but that’s still her baby daddy so.
So when people reduce Bonnie to the “Anti Mikaelson” crew only to me it appears they just don’t want Bonnie near any of their precious faves meanwhile expecting Bonnie to do their dirty work for them. That being said Bonnie loves making friends. Bonnie befriended Damon who has no concept of friendship. She could befriend anybody. Rebekah was meant to be her bestie and her SIL. I could imagine her developing fast with Davina, Keelin, and Gia as well!
Bonnie deserves all the friendships!

I'm kind of confused as to how you can be anti-freelin because of the kidnapping thing, but be a hardcore Bonkai fan when Kai literally did the same thing but with way more torture and PTSD-inducing shit? No disrespect or anything I just wanna know your opinion
In my personal opinion I feel that the bonkai dynamic is different in that Bonnie and Kai were essentially rivals. That period in season 6 was the SINGLE time in tvd history that Bonnie was allowed to have any agency. She got her magic back because she was standing up to Kai. She refused to give him an once of leeway while they were around each other so there was a good push pull dynamic.
I ship bonkai but I'm not necessarily saying it's a healthy relationship at all. What Kai does to Bonnie in the prison world is awful but she is actually allowed to get her own back when she stabs him in the other prison world which is huge because Bonnie is mostly just used as an emotional punching bag and is never allowed to get her own back. She defeats Kai not once but twice and in the end it's clear that he has not only an attraction to her but respect.
Again I do not see bonkai as an ideal cookie cutter dynamic but I do see it as different to freelin's. With them it was kind of like Freya said okay you're my prisoner now and you will help me or expect pain and somewhere along the lines Keelin comes down with Stockholm syndrome and suddenly they're crazy about each other.
I know they make a deal for keelin's freedom but ultimately there's a major power imbalance that doesnt sit well with me.
I also feel like the writers have completely botched Freya character. Like, her calculating, sometimes cold nature is a part of her character but they've completely let it take over. Sort of like they did with Elijah. He went from noble stag who will act ruthlessly in aid of protecting his family to a pretty loosely moralled douche bag with good table manners and a nice suit.
Freya may be ruthless but shes also the most intuitive and reflective Mikaelson and I found her more calm and collected demeanor to be a refreshing mirror to Klaus' more volitile and rash personality. The old Freya used brute force in needs be situations S4!Freya has been reduced down to threats and thuggish tendancies. Im not saying she should be all nice and mary sue. But i feel like the writers have got rid of a lot of what made me like her to begin with.
Lastly even if i had no issues with Freelin im not even gonna go there because this is the cw and they are a biracial lbgtq couple so bet your sweet ass one of them is going to die so what even is the point of getting attached.
