I'm really struggling just to get through the day ATM. But hopefully, when things are a bit better, I'll be able to concentrate on writing again.

Hii again! The jee main person. Thanks for the advice like u know its not like I wasnt good earlier like I even solved difficult questions too but I got some gap in between due my board exams and now I dont seem to remember even the basics even if I did advance earlier.And since its seems so less time to learn basics I feel disinterested. But I will try my best now. Thank you so much. Do you know anything that can bring my memory back ?Like it so nice how you mentioned rosemary like I believe in these things I have lavender and rose essential oil at home and my mom uses rosemary skin serum. I know that if you smell rosemary while you're studying and then smell it while you're testing it can help jog your memory! I would also suggest keeping a journal; writing down everything in your day can help improve your memory a lot because you'll be in the practice of recording and remembering things! You may not have found your ideal learning style yet, so it may help to look into learning styles in the future! My favorite way to study is to rewrite all of my notes because writing helps me personally remember things, but you might be different!

You could also try affirmations (I will remember this) as you're doing it. Don't be afraid to boost yourself and give yourself the momentum you need! If you need to brush up on any basics I'm sure you can find something on youtube that can help (but don't go down a rabbit hole and spend all your time on the basics! just get what you need). You can do stuff like setting a timer for 20 minutes, studying your butt off and then taking a 5-10 minute break before starting again. This keeps your mind fresh and helps you from getting too bored. Exercise can also help improve your memory.

I think there's something that needs to be said about encouraging readers to leave feedback.

For me it's not about "tell me my writing is amazing and stroke my ego"

It's more about "please engage with me so that I can experience your joy secondhand and foster a connection with you"

I understand that not everyone wants this in their reading experience, some people are shy and a million other reasons why maybe someone wouldn't want to engage and that's perfectly fine!

But what I'm trying to steer away from is being a passive content creator with passive consumers. What I want to steer toward is fostering a community that is essential to fandom. I want to see your reactions because it makes me feel like I'm a part of something.

On encouraging reblogs —

I understand that not everyone is comfortable reblogging, especially explicit content. This is ok!

But just consider that the only reason you were able to enjoy a fic or fanart is because someone else shared it, and by not sharing it yourself you are potentially robbing someone else of the opportunity to enjoy it as much as you did.

As OPs our reach only goes so far and this website relies on reblogs in order for anything to truly get seen by a wider audience.

So that's really it! That's why I encourage these two things at the end of every story I post. Not because I'm trying to be demanding and "make people feel bad" if they don't do it.

I know most other social media sites encourage mindless content consumption and that's just the way of the world nowadays, but I am from a time when community was at the heart of fandom and I just don't want to lose that.

Hello , thank-you for answering my ask about my friendship with d, I'm kind of confused about what you ment by relationship like did it mean romantic or non romantic , ours is a non romantic relationship, we both are of same gender and as far as i know she is not attracted to girls and I'm not attracted to her

But the reading applied . Whenever i talk seriously about our friendship she acts so detached and not serious at all.A lot of things happened in the past , and yes i was emotional about it and i think i still am , no friend ever hurt me so much. That was my lowest time and the way she was behaving i felt so excluded. I think she was using me but i can't be sure , there are so many signs tho. I can tell everything about what happened but it's long and idk if anyone wants to hear it all. But yes i should look at whatever happened like its facts.

I would love to choose or find some new friend over her . I have trouble socialising and she was my only friend who lived in my area so i stayed despite the things she did. I did try to cut contact with her , that was the lonliest time ever , i went back to being her friend because I thought it was better option idk

Hi, I may be off about reading regarding love 😅at the moment. The four cups came up twice in reading means someone receiving an offer but would rather do something else.

Someone more apathetic and more focused on her own business at the moment. The love here can also be more of self-love that has for herself. Only cares about herself since the oracle's card-obsessed lover came out.

Hi! I'm an anonymous asker who sometimes sends fellow simmers questions. "Simblr Question of the Day" is something I saw going on around September '23 and I wanted to revive this "trend"! After a bit, some simmers suggested a SQOTD blog, to which I agreed and finally did it! I can broaden my asking horizons to blogs w/o anons now :)

I'm going to continue preserving my anonymity, but I'd like to share some basics about me ! ~

You can call me squat or squatty! A name I chose based on the way I pronounce "SQOTD," You can also call me SQOTD Anon! My timezone is ( PST ) - I like the colors yellow and pink/red, I've been playing the sims since I was 5 and I like to read and write :)

And below the cut will include a little rundown of how I will run this blog and navigation hashtags ~

- I want to start off by saying that while I do play TS4, I'm going to try and keep my SQOTDs all-sim-games-friendly, so if you play TS3, 2 or 1 and want to answer, go right ahead! Feel free to "translate" them for older games if you want to answer and it seems too "Sims-4-oriented" - Also! You can absolutely answer: 1. older SQOTDs 2. a SQOTD multiple times or 3. a SQOTD that isn't prompted by an ask while this is a ~daily questions blog~, you can also consider it a questions archive where you can pull any question out and answer it whenever and however many times you want to :) -I will queue a question once a day around 4am-5am PST, I will try to vary the type of questions (builds/renders/cas/sims/ocs). I also do around 3-4 tzrs per SQOTD. -I will also send a SQOTD to a random 5-10 Simblrs either around 4-5 AM or somewhere in the same day in my time (I forewarn this in the chance that I'm asleep around 4-5 AM) - and yes, I will make sure that it's different Simblrs everyday :) -Interact with these posts in anyway you prefer: reblog, reply or a separate post! (make sure to tag me ^^) -I'm going to attempt to reblog as many answers as possible, but I do want to avoid spamming dashes, so not always, but I will occasionally reblog ^o^ -I FULLY encourage YOU to continue sending asks with SQOTDs (crediting/tagging me is optional). I don't expect every simblr to know about this blog and SQOTD is intended to be a community thing, so while this blog will extend SQOTD reach, asks will spread even further -If you have your own SQOTD, you can send me an ask with your question and I will answer it prompting anyone of Simblr to answer it! -Since this isn't my main blog, I won't be following anyone back, but I will always check this blog at least twice or thrice a day and check my notifs and engage with the community as much as possible :)
