can u do the animalisms for Monty plz
Sure buuud!!
Take these with a hint of salt though, I've looked up alligator stuff but I'm not exactly an expert on them. Anyway
So the obvious first: Monty loves water. He's vibin' in the water at Gator Golf all the damn time he loves it. He can float like an alligator with his nose and eyes above the water and he can stay there forever if left to his own devices. Fun fact: He was the first animatronic to be introduced that was waterproof! (Yes, I have a timeline for all of this stuff in my notes it's very helpful) Anyway, ya boy can hiss and stay remarkably still for long periods of time (though this is somewhat offset with his Character programming) and can be very patient. Alligators are the only crocodilian to be maternal and protective, so that's exactly what Monty is. He's protective of younger kids and newer animatronics, doing his best to act like the cool mentor to the animatronics until they find their feet. In this way, he's pretty similar to Freddy, except he's uh... without the 'drop them like a stone and start over' thing with them. He's naturally more protective of the kids even as they get older, drifting off as they reach adulthood whereas Freddy is more focused on the younger ones. Save to say, his fans are of a much more diverse age range than many of the other animatronics.
Anyway, back to alligatorisms. Monty loves the warmth, despite not gaining any physical benefits like a biological alligator might. If there were heat lamps in the Plex, he'd love them, and is of the firm belief that the place should be kept at least three degrees higher at all times. He's a bit of a climber, though not as much as Chica. He likes to lounge around from on top of various parts of his attraction and people watch from up there. The walkways are honestly great for that, so Monty being Monty, refuses to get up there without awkwardly climbing his way up the Gator Golf decorations. In applicable situations, he's good for lying in wait for the right moment to strike, and in fights, he uses his tail quite often. He's not the most visually expressive, but with the traits of the Character part of his programming, he's not really unreadable either. Just less readable than say, Bonnie or Roxy. He can be very opportunistic, taking advantage of things thrown at him whenever possible and is a bit of a nuzzler, though he tends to stick to rubbing noses rather than Foxy's methods of nuzzling wherever he can reach.
The colder it is in the Plex, the less active he is. The Plex was closed for a whole winter once with very minimal heating because there was only one nightguard there ever and Monty spent the majority of it lying on the floor not feeling like moving ever again. He likes digging a bit, and finds making little dens out of random stuff he finds very fun since he can't exactly make a burrow in the Pizzaplex. He's pretty territorial, but is generally pretty chill otherwise. His anger certainly doesn't stem from here that's for damn sure. He's protective of his belongings and of his attraction and damaging anything of his will get you a roar and chase sequence he will not be happy. He's sensitive to high pitched noises and it's the only guaranteed way to get his attention, though he's not exactly sure why. (I do, but he doesn't lmao) He also just. Has a bit of a compulsion to carry rocks around in his mouth. Like a chew stim but he just sorta carries it instead of chewing on it. Guy just likes carrying random shit around with him.
Generally? The territorial thing is probably the only real issue that ever comes up, along with the 'typically docile' thing that clashes with the other half of his programming. Other than those two, he's not too terribly bothered by his alligator based programming at all, and he is probably the least aware of there being two separate personalities in him out of everyone. He gets by pretty well I'd say
Now, apparently, there's been several recent studies suggesting that alligators exibit more social behaviours than your average cocodilian, however, I can't find them so this is the best I got for now. If anyone knows where I can find information on that please let me know I would love to see it! But yeah, that's all I got for now. Enjoy!

Pokes you for Freddy and Bonnie animalisms
Tumblr media
Here’s a cat, as a bribe
CHEESE BRIBE OH WOW
Okay so. Freddy's animalisms are based on what I know about grizzly bears (which is a little limited there's literally no bears in my country so take his side of this with a pinch of salt) and Bonnie is based on a mixture of wild and domestice rabbits. Most of this will be under a cut as it goes on a bit and because I'm not an asshole. Anyway
Freddy is pretty naturally solitary. He likes his own company and honestly, the constant hustle and bustle of the Plex during the day grinds his gears some days. He's very protective of kids, mostly the younger ones with his protective nature dwindling the older they are. This means that by the time they're in their mid-teens, Freddy has very little protective instincts towards them. The same can be said about new additions to the Pizzaplex animatronic team. When someone's new, he like to make sure they stay out of trouble and once they're a bit more familiar with things, he takes a step back. When he's satisfied they're comfortable in the Plex, he drops them like a stone and it's like starting over again with him, but instead of Tutorial Freddy, they get Regular Freddy. As far as I can tell, grizzlies aren't the most territorial (again, bear knowledge isn't exactly common place here and DuckDuckGo is only so helpful) so I would say he's not too bothered if any of the others enters Fazerblast uninvited. That being said, Roxy entering uninvited gets to him greatly and you can attribute a little bit of that to the animalisms given how bears and grey wolves interact in the wild.
More generally, Freddy likes to climb things on occasion and likes to scratch things that aren't important or that are given to him to scratch. He enjoys chillin' in the waters of Gator Golf with Monty and Chica quite a lot and he charges much more frequently through the day during the winter months. He can roar if he so chooses - an extremely rare occasion - and unlike a real bear, his ears can be quite expressive.
Honestly, as far as animalisms causing problems for them goes, he's not too horribly affected at all. Maybe some minor inconveniences here and there but he's otherwise good, I'd say.
Now, Bonnie is pretty social, though he prefers smaller groups to bigger ones. He's naturally more of a drifter, able to move very comfortably between different friendship groups a lot easier than the others might be. His ears are super expressive if its mechanically possible, he has the unique quirk of his nose being super twitchy too. He's pretty fast and can be naturally very unpredictable which is most noticeable in games like Fazerblast. One minute he's speeding one way and the next he's covered as much ground in the opposite direction. When he's exceptionally irritated, he stamps his feet a lot, though he does it when he's particularly excited about things as well. At this point, it's manifesting as a stim for him. Unfortunately, being bunny coded, he can be quite jumpy and less chill than he'd otherwise be and he really feels he drew the short straw with this.
He likes digging and scratching around at times and does this little bunny purring thing when he's particularly content or when he's being given ear scritches. He'll growl if really pushed and he's not the most welcoming to newcomers at all. Did you know rabbits honk when excited? Well now you know what Bonnie sounds like when he's excited about something. He also likes chillin' in enclosed spaces and he's got a bit of a chewing stim going on. He can be a bit territorial at times and doesn't appreciate any of the other animatronics showing up in Bonnie Bowl unannounced. Touch his nose and he'll get really fuckin' mad. Outside of that, he's down to play basically any game you throw at him, and when he's being physically affectionate, he usually defaults to nuzzling and laying his chin on top of others. He's also very quick to offer comfort when someone is in distress, and finds it very easy to put any differences aside to do that.
He doesn't struggle too bad with his animal side but he does get frustrated with it at times, especially when it's making him skittish, or when he's struggling to accept a new animatronic into the group that he feels he's starting to like. It can be a bit of a pain honestly
That's what I have for those two right now. It's all subject to change should I learn more about either animal but until then, this is what I've got for them. Enjoy buuud!

I've seen posts going around claiming that petting animals is basically tricking them into thinking they're being groomed, and it's bugging me because, like, there's no trickery afoot. Petting and scritching are grooming activities. They help to dislodge loose fur and foreign objects and more evenly distribute protective oils, among other things. Primates are social groomers, and the human impulse to scritch is the legacy of our primate ancestors. We see an animal we like, even a dangerous one, and the monkey brain says "groom that thing".
