My one biggest gripe with the Obi-Wan Kenobi show is that they decided to make Celly Breha's sister. Like. First of all I am miffed by the fact that they couldn't bother to read wookiepedia for longer than two seconds. And second of all. They have now robbed Bail from being the brother with only sisters. That shit is the best trope that exists in fiction and in real life istg. Ask my older brother. Before our baby brother was born he only had sisters and his life was fucking crazy. Bail deserves that so much.

Oogh I got gifts from adoptive family + my roommates and I'm sooo normal about it. The way gifts were presented without expectations somehow. It's just very different from what I'm used to.

See people always point to 'The Naked Now' as the point when Wesley was made a Mary Sue but they ignore the fact that said episode was not only the THIRD episode of the VERY FIRST SEASON but was a fucking catastrophe of writing that was so universally hated it's been memed to hell and back by fans AND other Star Trek writers, and thus I simply do not think it's fair to judge any of the characters based on how they behaved within it.

So I'm sorry, if you wanna convince me that Wesley is a Mary Sue I'm gonna need you to give me, at the very least, some evidence gathered after season two.

#and listen this isn't even me ragging on the first two seasons #my favorite Star Trek episode of all time is in TNG s2 #the first episode of Star Trek I EVER WATCHED was 'The Naked Now' and I liked it!!#but like....come on y'all no one was at their best in those seasons #plus most first seasons of Trek shows are kinda bad??#Star Trek is famous for needing a few seasons to get their shows up and running for real #Lower Decks was an outlier for having a perfect first season #that just doesn't happen #most fans will tell you the shows only really start getting good after 2-3 seasons #so like #sorry I am not considering how he is in literally the third episode of the first season as proof for why Wesley sucks #do better
