Due to everyone calling for Barbatos for help so often, he's learned to respond to every little noise he hears that may be directed to him. The obvious ones being someone calling his name or saying hey, etc. But some others would be more obscure, like when someone is talking to someone else, and they say something along the line of "get him to do it."" And Barbatos immediately knows that he is "him."

Barbatos would absolutely respond, but it'd also be like, "MC, must you pspsps at me? Can you not use your words?"

Like he's gently complaining about it, but he's still gonna come right over to your side as soon as you do it.

I think of him as being very cat like anyway, so it'd be hard to resist the temptation to do that lol.

I also agree that he's hyper aware of people needing him and speaking about him. He's just on top of it, always ready to step in should his assistance be required!

Ah now I'm having visions of him sitting down next to MC, who proceeds to pet his head like a little cat because they can't help it. And that stoic demon purrs. I'd lose my whole mind. He'd probably blush profusely, but he also wouldn't stop.

I like to think of Barbatos as a tease, but it's equally fun to tease him lol.

Very much self indulgent not really accurate to the mechanisms canon and way too cute but the thing is I can do whatever I want forever so I think Im gonna do it (I'm only like idk 1/3 done tho so don't get too excited fjdnfjndn)

feeling faint feeling feverish feeling undone feeling overcome. it really all comes down to being seen and vegas and pete being each other's mirror. from the moment pete was held captive their respective masks crumbled down and they were stripped bare for the other to see. they've always stood face to face, staring at each other, reflecting each other's soul. that's why pete's plea cuts so deep: vegas giving his back to pete is a physical manifestation of his attempts to reject pete, he is purposefully interrupting the reflection and denying them both their chance to be seen, and known, and loved, because they cannot exist without each other and no one else could ever cut it. that's why pete keeps telling him 'im here. i see you. i know you see me too. don't give up on us.' and in the end vegas can't help but turn around, because how can a mirror survive without its reflection

Bleugh I'm tired of being tired and needing to sleep so much

Slept 16.5 hours last night (and went to bed at like 7:30 like a grandma) and had to nap or at least doze for an hour maybe closer to two. Idk if I ever fell asleep or not but :/

And now I'm falling asleep when I wanted to snuggle in and read! Come ooon

I started playing stardew valley knowing pretty much nothing beyond "you got a farm" and "grandpa's bed is fucked up" and at first I thought it had vibes similar to what I'd seen from animal crossing. I'm just planting my little crops and fishing in the lake and checking in with the villagers every day. And then I stumbled on my first heart scene and it was a dude getting drunk and talking about being depressed. Anyway 10/10 would get emotional whiplash again.
