Accidents Happen: Chapter 1 - Midnight Encounters
As usual, a new maid arrives to the castle and replaces the former maid who'd died.
This time, however, the maid is younger. Not even seventeen or eighteen years old yet. She seems lost, scared and afraid.
Which is understandable considering the place she's currently residing does not take kindly to anyone. Especially the staff.
But she seems to be doing alright despite the predicament she's currently in.
Green eyes wander around the dining hall as she eats her meal. It isn't long before she spots you staring at her that she looks over and raises an eyebrow at you.
“That's Eugenia” Maria, one of the few maids you've made friends with during your stay, whispers to you. “I've heard she hasn't even turned seventeen and yet she's here, working under Lady Dimitrescu” Maria shook her head with a frown. “I pity the poor girl” She says.
“So do I” You tell her. “But what can we do about it?” You ask her. “The moment we entered this castle and signed a contract with house Dimitrescu, we are trapped here” You sighed.
“We make due of what we have during our times of desperation, Reeda” Maria told you.
“Desperation” You scoffed. “Do you think all of us came here out of that?”
“No,” She shook her head. “But we all came here for a reason, no?”
There wasn't anything you could say to that because Maria was right. All of you, whom work here in Castle Dimitrescu, came here for a reason.
You shook her head before sighing again. “I suppose” You mutter.
Maria gives you a soft smile before patting your shoulder. “Don't be so downhearted” She tells you softly. “It is better to focus on the positive things than on the negative ones”
“You are starting to be very much like my older sister, Camelia” You muttered under your breath. “Thank you for reminding me of her existence”
“Do not speak of it” Maria grinned. “Because I may as well be her twin then” She teased.
You waved a hand dismissively at her. “I need not for another one of her,” You replied.
Maria just chuckled at the comment.
Surely things would be better sooner or later.

You never had troubles sleeping but the sound of pure silence except for the whistling of leaves outside the window was unnerving.
And the lack of lamps in your room did not help either.
You sighed before climbing out of your bed and going out of your room.
Maybe a walk in the halls would help you sleep, you thought to yourself.
“My my,” A voice behind you says. “Aren't you a bad girl, sneaking out at night?”
Turning around quickly, you stare wide eyed at the woman dressed in black silk standing before you.
“L-Lady Cassandra..!” You yelped, immediately bowing your head low.
“What were you planning to do?” She asked you, raising an eyebrow as she crosses her arms to her chest.
“I...was going out to for a small walk in the halls” You answered quietly.
“In the middle of the night?” She asks.
“Y… Yes, my lady” You nodded your head. “I was having troubles sleeping and I thought a walk in the halls might help me to sleep” You explained.
“Hmm” Cassandra hummed. “Is it helping you?” She asked after a while.
“Not quite,” You told her. “I am still wide awake as an owl in the night”
“I see,” She hums once more. “Would you like me to accompany you then?”
“That is very kind of you, my lady” You smiled gratefully at her. “But I'm afraid I must dec—”
“If you do not accept my offer, I may as well send you on your way with nothing but broken legs,” Cassandra threatened you.
You gulped as you slowly met her gaze with yours. “I d-don't see why I should refuse,” You stuttered out.
“Good,” She nodded. “Come then” She spoke, turning around on her heel.
All your head was screaming to you at that moment was to run away and hide.
But to where? You didn't know where you could possibly go. Any place you'll be in, they will find you. They knew this castle better than anyone else.
“Are you coming or not?” Cassandra questioned, turning around to look at you.
“O-Of course, my lady” You stammered out, momentarily biting your lip before you followed behind her.

I'm starting with chronological order. We know that she used to have a crush on Matthew during the "Academy era".
Nothing but shadows:
Matthew's friendship made other friends creep forward, too. Esme cornered James and told him how sorry she was that Mike was being an idiot. She also told him that she hoped James did not take this expression of friendly concern in a romantic way.
"I have rather a tendresse for Matthew Fairchild, actually," Esme added. "Please put in a good word for me there."
Unfortunately, we haven't seen any of her interactions with Matthew during TLH🤷🏼♀️ But who knows, maybe after he returns to London we'll get something?👀 Personally, I found this idea pretty interesting, Esme seems like an adorable and confident girl✨
Volume Ⅱ
➤Eugenia Lightwood
Listen, listen. First of all I should mention what @roseofthomas validly pointed out: Matthew is officially 17 in the beginning of Chain of Gold and Eugenia is 21. And I also would be against anything romantic between them if it stayed this way. But TLH plot covers an entire year. So in Chot epilogue Matthew is already 18. And he leaves London for at least one year. So when he comes back he's 19. So what we got is ~ 19/23. Which is not a huge gap and Matthew will be an adult. Everyone remembers Malec's age gap? Diana & Gwyn? Yeah...So everything I'm talking about below I say in the context of Matthew being 19. Deal?🌱🌿Deal🌸🪷
I reread every part where she's mentioned. And I can confirm that we didn't get any info on how Matthew sees Eugenia except "she's a good girl". We know that she's not exactly a part of "the gang", at least before Chain of Thorns. She had her own group with Catherine, Ari and Rosamund and Barbara. So it's unlikely that Matthew sees her as some older cousin like James does.
Interactions:
1. Thomas’s sister Eugenia had danced with Matthew, tossing her long dark hair.
2. It was Eugenia, who had come up to them, her yellow cap askew on her dark hair. “Never mind. I am not interested in your dull friends. Matthew, will you dance with me?”
“Eugenia.” Matthew looked at her with a weary affection. “I am not in a dancing mood.”
“Matthew.” Eugenia looked woebegone. “Piers keeps stepping on my feet, and Augustus is lurking about as if he wants a waltz, which I just can’t manage. One dance,” she wheedled. “You’re an excellent dancer, and I’d like to have a bit of fun.”
Matthew looked long-suffering but allowed Eugenia to lead him out onto the floor.

1) Eugenia was kinda "dating" Augustus Pounceby, who actually loved Catherine but still gave Eugenia an idea that they can work. Apparently he saw her as an "if I can't get Catherine, I can at least have Eugenia"
VS
Matthew was kinda "dating" Cordelia, who actually loved James but still gave Matthew hope for her affection. Apparently for Daisy it was "if I can't have James, I can at least be with him"
2) Eugenia leaves London after Augustus proposes to Catherine. She feels humiliated and wants to be away from Enclave to get some peace.
VS
Matthew leaves London after Cordelia breaks up with him and comes back to James. He wants to heal and doesn't really want to be around Jordelia for some time, cause he's still getting over Daisy.
3) Eugenia returns to London after a few months and acts pretty confidently. It's implying that she healed mentally in Idris and is ready to be back in action. She's slowly becoming a part of the gang but it still looks like she spends more time by herself.
VS
I believe that Matthew eventually returns after a year or so and I expect him to act pretty much the same. Like he feels healed, has more confidence in himself and is fine with being around kissing Jordelia. But he still feels a bit lonely (my theory)

god im thinking gale post war. he's got a kafkaesque middling bureaucrat position on government or perhaps something like 'minister for outreach' or some bs job. mostly there to be the attractive young face of the new government.
his friends are all 40yo rebel leaders turned bureaucrats and posy his 6yo little sister who writes him pen pal letters from district 12 where she is going to school (its an assignment where you write to a pen pal from another district and she was like i pick my brother Comrade Gale Hawthorne Of The Rebellion and the teacher is like well i meant another kid from another district but okay then.)
she's only now learning to write so its mostly little kid stick drawings in her new gel pens he bought her with a note from hazelle asking if he's eating enough and that katniss asked about him. and he reads them crying while getting whiskey drunk at 9pm. and he writes back like hello posy what a lovely drawing tell mummy im doing absolutely fine and please dont bother katniss about me but also is she okay does she talk about me is she happy is she mad please and thank you lovely pen colour by the way.
he is engaged to a female rebel about his age maybe a little older. i have named her evjenny a future dystopia spelling of yevgenia russian form of eugenia meaning 'good breeding'. because its funny to me for him to go full bolshevik. she's from district 5 a slightly wealthier district in comparison to the outliers like 10, 11, 12. she's a little uptight, very type-a, respects gale, loves the state, believes in black-and-white justice. thinks katniss is mostly a propaganda creation and that she's a little weepy but good for morale. has a pet bird she is wanting to teach human language to.
vaguely know each other from the little inter-district rebel communications that coin allowed. coin off-handedly mentioned that she respected her so when The Powers That Be were arranging propaganda couples to marry (they didnt call it that ofc) he was like yeah okay she seems fine.
meet each other at panem galas that are about like fostering relations between the districts. TPTB are like ah gale this is evjenny you are attractive young people you should chat. we did not plan this we did not have several meetings planning this. they bond over hating all the former capitol turned rebel folks.
evjenny (evjen for short, she says, because it is efficient) mentions that she enjoyed gale more than katniss in the propos because gale was an 'actual working man' as opposed to katniss (who is the equivalent of a kardashian to her). and gale is like. Eye twitch. thank you. i enjoyed when you organised that power plant to get blown up and she goes thank you it did take a lot of work. she is not joking she's just a very serious person. they go on like five 'dates' (paparazzi outings) and they agree to marry with a handshake three months after meeting. (there is a more official ceremony where evjen pops the question on tv with a sensible steel ring)
their marriage is like an absolute flop cos gale has a drinking problem and evjen is like if a robot was a 15yo girl and that 15yo girl got parentified because the russian revolution happened. she's not even like jealous about katniss at first until it becomes insanely obvious that gale has like deified / villainised katniss in his head not even deliberately she just represents the past/future he can never have. so evjen is like okay but why cant you just repress it better why are you making it my problem? this is not important we are literally rebuilding a government and you are getting winedrunk over your childhood situationship Man Up.
they have a daughter the first year of marriage who plutarch wanted to name peace but he got outvoted and they (evjen and gale but also The Powers That Be) settled on pax. gale calls her sweetpea :) pax hawthorne is kind of a child star from birth which evjen is fine with cos its for The Greater Good but gale is like. This Is What They Did To Katniss. but he cant say that because he banned all mentions of her.
after a few years of fail marriage they choose to get pregnant again to try and save it (BAD IDEA) and they have another daughter. The Naming Committee was a nine month process all the way till the fuckn day of childbirth. they wanted something evocative of olive branch imagery. olivia was considered but they vetoed it cos it sounded too capitol (plutarch was miffed about it and left that committee) then olive but since that's the skin colour they vetoed that too even though gale liked it. eventually went with dove :) because gale has apparently not had enough damn birds in his life
i think they do divorce once an appropriate amount of time has passed where its not bad optics. gale 3Ds (drunk, divorced, dilf) is very important to me. anyway this post is long enough my bad

Working chain of thorns theories:
1.) Matthew will die, get his ruins stripped (honestly what good has being a shadowhunter ever truly brought him, besides the herondales and daisy, but pain), or become a vampire. (Cassie said one or more could have this end.)
2.) Charles will die.
3.) Lucie will get her ruins stripped. (This could be one of the reasons the Blackthorns great aunt is so bitter. Someone may have treated her or her family as lesser than because of their bloodline and status as outcasts because of her parents.)
4.) Eugenia will (also) be turned into a vampire. This would be amazing as we could follow her point of view for a book or so as I feel she has a lot more story to tell.
5.) If Charles and Matthew are both unable to carry on the family line the last maybe Charlotte and Henry do have other children (twin girls). One of whom follows in Charlotte's foot prints and that is how tha family name is carried on.
6.) Cordelia's mom will die in child birth. Alastair will raise the child (a girl who may also take the same path as Charlotte did and that is how the family name will be carried on).
7.) Alexander Lightwood will be the husband of one of these amazing girls. (This is a fun theory just for me lol.) Though it would also help to reinforce that all shadowhunters are related if you trail far enough up the line.
8.) If Matthew does survive and continues to be a shadowhunter (which I find very unlikely) he will continue the family name with Esme Philpott (James' friend from the academy that was a mundane who assended and is obsessed with the family tree's).

I feel like the real question embedded here is "who is a marmite enjoyer and who hates it" lmao. The answer is that Tessa is a marmite enjoyer and Will (correctly) mocks her relentlessly
(Marmite is disgusting and I only headcanon Tessa as liking it because she likes ginger ice cream and hates chocolate so her palette is disgusting. I love my girl but it has to be said.)
But for TLH:
Matthew -> fruit jellies, strawberry jam and orange marmalade being two primary favourites. He'll sometimes add bits of real fruit too if he wants to feel extravagant
Alastair -> blackberry jam, of course!
Thomas -> He picked up the olive oil + salt combo while in Madrid and never went back. But he does love some currant jam, too.
Cordelia -> honey and sometimes chili butter
James -> just butter, he's a fan of The Classics
Grace -> I don't think she got tons of options growing up, so she experiments a lot now. But her favourite so far is lemon curd.
Christopher -> lemon curd
Anna -> honey, occasionally raspberry jelly
Ari -> like Matthew, a fan of different fruit jellies, but her palette is a little less expansive than his.
Eugenia -> Like James, a fan of just butter. If only her toast would stop getting cold!

my testimony as a long-time obsessed k-pop stan: i confess there are only a select number of groups i listen to, but that's quite literally a handful now, and it's only for the music (and the most innocent stuff, even if it does make me feel more uncomfortable), not the people. what broke the camel's back was seeing wonyoung, who quite literally resembles eugenia cooney and has been sexualized since she was 14 on a show intended to be "healthy porn for grown men" despite having minors on it, be pushed as THE it girl in the industry for all others to follow. not to mention, being more aware of the devil/satanic/witchcraft aesthetic (red velvet's peek-a-boo and zimzalabim; bts' blood, sweat and tears; bts' brother group txt's sugar rush ride, devil by the window, angel/devil, the list can go on and on...). i'm trying to listen less to it, especially now that i'm finding some good Christian music to listen to lol. however, there are openly Christian k-pop idols and actors. park bogum is an example, and many fans, especially BTS fans, give him a treatment similar to how people are with joshua bassett because of how devoted he is to god (however, him signing up with a big company like YG leaves a sour taste in my mouth and i pray that he rethinks this because being swayed by the company literally behind one of korea's biggest sexual abuse scandals— look up burning sun— is not the move). also something i want to note is how i find it very interesting how one of the most openly younger Christian idols, mark from nct, has been constantly overworked since he was a child. his treatment is notorious because he's being promoted in three different groups and he looks more guantly by the month. yet, he never fails to thank god whenever he can (and fans make fun of him for it at times). i don't consider them my "idols," and i only pray that they're able to leave the industry.

Bruh, the video with the girl saying there are black people wishing they were Korean is gut wrenching.... I mean, obsessing over a culture elevating the actual opposite of what you are (palenesw, high bridge thin nose, etc.) truly messes you up. That's also why Black kpop fans especially come off as very awkward and dissociative.
Yeah I heard there are a bunch of Christian Kpop singer but I side eye them tbh. You can't be a "Christian kpop IDOL". This is an oxymoron. This brand of marketing isn't common for regular "artists".
It's possible for people in toxic industry to have a change of heart and see God, but then it's their responsibility to snap out of it. No, they dropped whatever they were doing and followers Jesus right there. Saul didn't keep harassing and killing Christians a few more years when Jesus asked him to stop harming his people... True conversion implies true ACTIONS. There's no faith without works.
So those Kpop idols saying they're Christians are a joke. They're literally feeding off satan's feast, and promoting his agenda with disgusting/creepy songs & MV. I'm absolutely not surprised there are so many suicide and sexual abuse in that industry. They are all demon possessed. Korean scrote are infamously evil and Korean radfem are absolutely based for refusing to marry & breed with those degenerates.
And innocent music ≠ harmless. I remember doing a very vivid & terrying dream just after I listened to Kyary Pamyu Pamyu 'Candy Racer' album.....

i’ve been in the online pro ana community for about half of my life at this point and it’s sad how desensitised i am to thinspo. i can see the thinnest person known to man in a picture on tumblr and it does absolutely nothing to me. it doesn’t motivate me anymore.
but when i see a thin person irl... yesterday i saw a girl whose legs were literal twigs and i can’t stop thinking about her. that one girl has motivated me so much it’s insane. i managed my first 36h fast since i was like 16 because of this girl. and i’m 20 now and my body is so weak that i start shaking before 20h, but i managed 36h because i saw one extremely thin girl in person. this is why i think thin people on the internet (eugenia cooney) shouldn’t be deplatformed for being thin. you can’t control seeing something like that when you’re walking to your university

Kamala was in love with Eugenia’s costume. Her girlfriend was standing with Cordelia and Lucie, looking to be in deep conversation with the latter of the two.
Based on Lucie and Cordelia’s costumes, Kamala guessed the conversation was on The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, a book that Lucie had been raging about for months now.
The two of them looked stunning of course, but nothing compared to Eugenia in her oh-so-amazing costume.
She had decided to go as Top Gun (no specific character, just the movie), wearing the iconic green jumpsuit and a pair of aviator sunglasses. Her hair was left in all curls and waves, flowing over shoulders and down her back.
Eugenia was so pretty, it made Kamala want to cry.
Kamala’s own costume was very different than Eugenia’s, since hers was supposed to be matching Alastair’s. All black outfit, but instead of cat ears, she had mouse ears. They were supposed to be a cat and mouse.
Eugenia and Thomas had both lost their minds when they heard that.
She must have zoned out at some point because she jumped back when she felt someone’s hand being placed on her shoulder.
She turned to see it was Alastair, who was wearing a smirk on his face. Kamala rolled her eyes at her best friend, hating that he had that smug look on his face.
“Don’t make that face at me, Al.”
“What face?”
“The one you have.”
“I think I have a very nice face.”
“I think he does too.” Another voice said, it was Thomas, coming around to wrap his arms around Alastair’s waist and rest his head on his shoulder. They were disgustingly adorable, Kamala had to admit.
“I hate you two.” she said, unable to hide her smile at Alastair’s comfort with Thomas.
“No, you don’t.” Alastair said, nudging her with his arm.
Kamala chose not to respond, choosing instead to watch her girlfriend.
“You know, Tom, if I didn’t know any better, I would think Kamala is simping for your sister.” Alastair said in a faux-whisper to Thomas.
“You know what, Lassie? I think you’re right.” Thomas snickered.
Kamala turned to them with a mock glare, the two of them looking like the picture of innocence with the matching wide-eyes looks on their faces. “Oh leave me alone. Like you two don’t do the same thing.”
“We’re not saying we don’t, we’re saying that you should admit that you do it.” Alastair said with a smirk. “And besides, I think your girlfriend likes it.” he pointed at Eugenia, who’s eyes were now focused completely on Kamala.
“Go on, Kamala, go kiss the girl.” Thomas added on, his own smirk plastered on his face.
Kamala couldn’t be more relieved that her blush wasn’t visible.

I know this girl whos like, entire family are the WHITEST latinos ive met. Blonde hair palest skin literally just out of europe looking. But her mom has some minimal non-white ancestry (i never asked what but) and besides her family looking white as a sheet of paper.
So she ended up coincidently taking after them
Brown skin thick curly hair wider nose etc etc.
All this to say. Yep thats eugenia. I'm not gonna say she takes after gideon no no, this women is the copy of the original bárbara (ironic considering her sister is her name sake)

Nothing against her or anybody like her. This video just popped up on my screen while scrolling through YouTube shorts, and I took a trip to the comments because I already knew what people would say:
She's not healthy.
She needs help.
Stop giving her attention so she can get the help she needs.
I thought the mantra was health at every size? Or we picking what sizes can be healthy? Are we looking at people and judging them based on their looks to classify what is and isn't healthy? Or is it because she's skinny?
What if she was 300, 400, 500+ pounds and said the same things she does in this video? The narrative would change:
You tell 'em, girl!
Change for what? You look fine the way you are!
If they can't handle it then they should move on!
Love me for who I am and not who you want me to be.
You can't judge how healthy I am by the way I look? Valid argument. I can make some assumptions about the quality of your life with how you move in my presence, though. And if you were my friend, regardless of what extreme you land on, I would want you as healthy as you could possibly be so we can share as many laughs and cries as humanly possible.
Though, regardless of how I feel about, at the end of the day my statement is this: you can't pick and choose who you want as your body positivity ambassador and claim all bodies are good bodies when all I see are fat women gatekeeping the spotlight for "good bodies" in this movement. It's all or nothing.
If Tess Holiday is a "good body" then so is Eugenia Cooney, and literally everyone in-between.

In the autumn of 1934, Eugenia has her first day of school in the town of Bosque Farms, New Mexico. She is dressed in her newest outfit, and is carrying a leather book bag. She has never been to school before, and worries that she’ll be not as smart as everyone else her age, and will have to be educated with much younger students. But she finds herself among other Dust Bowl refugees that also benefited from the government’s help resettling along the Rio Grande, and many of the children here are also attending school for the first time too. Some of them have only ever done farm work in their lives, and cannot even read or write, as Eugenia can.
Eugenia is wearing an outfit from Kit Kittredge’s collection, the School Skirt Set. It’s my favorite item of Kit’s wardrobe and I’m very happy to have a doll who can wear it. Her school supplies were made by me, but based on Kit’s school collection, seen in the last picture. I made her book bag from craft foam, and it has snap and button closures. I printed out images of her geography text book, composition book, multiplication table, and pencil box. (I did make her a ruler from a wooden craft stick and eraser, but forgot to include them in the photo). Her pencil is an Our Generation piece. I made her crayons by rolling strips of colored paper around a toothpick, and pushing out one edge to form a point. Her pencil box opens and closes just like Kit’s.
Eugenia’s school serves hot breakfast and lunch, which is a relief for families who would be burdened by the expense of feeding their children. For breakfast she has a buttermilk biscuit, pinto beans with red chiles, half a banana, and some shell peanuts that she can save for a snack at first recess. For lunch she has a cottage cheese sandwich on wheat bread, slices of locally grown peaches, bell pepper and carrot sticks, and an oatmeal raisin cookie.
Something different I did for Eugenia that I haven’t done before and American Girl has also never done for their historicals, was to not give her a lunch box. I was searching for ideas about what her lunch box would look like when I came across some interesting information about the school lunch services during the Great Depression. The concept of lunch served by the school, at little or no cost to students, was still fairly new in that decade, having first begun in the 1900′s as a way to help strengthen the minds of otherwise underfed children. But president Franklin Roosevelt instituted it to schools in every state and especially in rural areas as part of his Depression relief program, The New Deal. The school meal services also helped bring jobs to communities, by hiring women to prepare and serve the food. By that time it was well understood by educators that children who are malnourished due to their family’s poverty, are children that do not learn well.
I found a book from 1936 that was used in school cafeterias to plan well-balanced menus and ensure that students were receiving adequate nutrition: Menus and Recipes for Lunches at School. If this is a topic that interests you, then it’s a very quick read, only a few pages before the recipes, and it’s fascinating. I based Eugenia’s school breakfast and lunch on some of the menu ideas included in the book, including the cottage cheese sandwich. But her food does incorporate some traditional foods of New Mexico, like the pinto beans that would have been a local crop from the Estancia Valley to the northeast. Bananas were a Depression-era staple food everywhere in the United States, since they were relatively cheap, high in calories, and have a long shelf life. Peanut butter was another common and inexpensive food most families could afford; it was often used to make peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches, or peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. Cookies were also included on the sample menu, and it’s one of the things in Kit’s lunchbox set that I replicated here. All of her food is made by me from clay and paint.

Why do you hate Eugenia cooney
i’ll try to put this as simple as possible because if not i’ll write for hours. also this is someone who has anorexia and was still anorexic when eugenia first got popular. i was 13 at this time. the exact type of person she targets. i don’t blame eugenia for my ed at all, she played no part in it, but what she did do is give me “inspiration” for lack of a better word. i think she’s a bit better since she admitted to having an ed. but if you weren’t here 2016/2017, she vehemently denied having an ed and just said she was “naturally like this.” even a 13 year old without an ed is going to look at that and think “that’s normal? i’m no where near that.” and for people with eds, that happened but more extreme. if you never were introduced to the world of “thinspo,” count your blessings. when i tell you every other picture i saw was using her for “inspiration,” i mean every other picture. people with eds that center around losing weight aren’t stupid. our brains are fucked up and will look in the mirror and perceive ourselves as being a lot bigger than what we actually are. we know this. we know that what we see isn’t real. we know factually (at least those of us who are average or below average weight) that we aren’t as big as we think and people don’t see us the same way we do. i’m sure eugenia did and probably does see herself as bigger than what we see, but she knows factually that her thoughts aren’t true. we aren’t stupid. she uses her body for views and money. check out the views on her clothing haul videos vs views of videos where it’s more of just her face. check how many comments are on her instagram pics where she purposefully leans forward to make her legs look smaller and crop tops to show her ribs. even if it’s negative attention, she is using her deadly sickness for views. and it’s working. there’s a fine line between being triggered by a girl who is naturally skinny and being triggered by a body like eugenia cooney’s. the naturally thin girl can’t help being naturally thin. and you can tell someone who is naturally vs unnaturally thin. but eugenia crosses that line for miles. she promotes anorexia. she’s part of the illusion the ed community likes to make that being skinny through restriction is whimsical and lovely when it’s not. she has admitted she has an ed. she obviously relapsed which is completely normal. but continuing to act as if nothing is wrong and continuing to show off her body like she did before recovery is where i draw the line. eds aren’t fucking pretty. they are miserable and i will deal with this disorder for the rest of my life. 13 year old me fell for the illusion that restricting is glamorous. and eugenia cooney has majorly contributed to that illusion.
