my mom wants to medicate me at all costs
#for context#she has had me on adhd medications since i was in first grade#every single one of them has had horrible side effects#she said one of them made it where i didn’t smile for a month#and after years of this#instead of thinking maybe my child doesn’t need meds#she just kept going!!!#and eventually she found one she liked#and it gave me an eating disorder but nobody cared because i’ve always been skinny so obviously it’s natural for me to not eat much#(it’s not natural. i was gourging myself in the middle of the night when the meds wore off.)#and i genuinely had no emotions or personality but thats fine bc 13 year olds are shy and they pull away from their parents#and every time i said ‘hey mom and psychiatrist i don’t like the meds’ they’d fucking ramp them up#to the point that i was on a dosage that does not exist. i was taking multiple pills. because i was the only person on that dose.#i was fifteen.#and now i’m an adult and i NEVER take adhd medication for obvious fucking reasons#but any time anything negative happens with my emotions#like i’ll be like ‘ugh im frustrated at this video game’#my mom is like MAYBE YOU NEED TO BE ON 115 MG OF CONCERTA AGAIN. THAT WOULD FIX YOU.#i have the absolute lowest dose of vyvanse and i only take it when i ABSOLUTELY am sure i need to focus#and my mom wants me to take it to do shit like go to the arcade#she genuinely once said she likes me more when im medicated#so no#the red dye thing isn’t a genuine suggestion#it’s an attack on me. because she wants her freak kid to be normal so badly she’s willing to ruin its life.

You know what? I’m honestly surprised there isn’t (as far as I’m aware of) a ROTTMNT 2012 crossover that takes place immediately after the Rise Boys just after defeating the Shredder and losing their Karai and through some accident one way or another they end up in the 2012 TMNT universe
But here’s the kicker: instead of usually running into the 2012 TMNT or their Kraang they run into Karai and her foot soldiers (somewhere after she takes lead of the foot clan) and being the morally-grey and fresh-out-of-losing-their-Karai trauma turtles they are they immediately attach onto her like children lost in a store
Look where I’m getting at is I just want morally-grey rise turtles hanging out with 2012 Karai and just having some not-so-innocent fun, you know? Like I feel like the fandom should make more Rise Turtles and 2012 Karai content, it would be great

I got season one on DVD. Haven't watched yet. Not to be the G3 hater people don't like, cuz truly I'm not, BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I watched the live action movie when it first came out. I frankly really didn't like it other than Frankie. I love the original and didn't like all the changes and I still don't like the changes. So, I was already upset once the movie was over. Then the new show had it's premiere. Frankie wasn't voiced by the actor who played Frankie (and I was under the impression that this would be in the same universe as the movie so I was upset) AND THEN Toralei was posh british. That truly was the tipping point for me.
I really want to give this a fair shot because I know I would 100% love it if not for my already huge love of G1. I'm gonna watch this a few times. I know my first time watching this I'll just be a hater going "BUT THAT'S NOT HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO GO!" even though my mind and myself understand that this is different from G1. My heart will feel the betrayal and I'm just gonna have to get used to it. I so badly want to like this and I know I will once I jump over that hurdle. I've already seen a few episodes I like aswell.

if i had a nickel for every time the best friend duo that was the cornerstone of an entire trilogy got split apart at the end of the 3rd movie, ruining the entire trilogy for me, i'd only have 2 nickels, but it's strange that it's happened twice

put up a facade of a calculating mastermind but is actually the dumbest man alive who cant express affection without two hundred layers of irony and violence.
-dee : page of light (prospit)
narrative's favorite butt monkey. oftentimes deemed as irrelevant and claws her way to relevance and luck no matter what and fails very very, often. actually the most reckless member of the gang.
-charlie : bard of time (derse)
the wildcard. musical genius. intelligence level correlate to what the episode needs. neglected and abused but refuse to accept it even happens to him by escaping into substance abuse and passivity. surrounded w/ filth, death and decay.
-mac : maid of hope (derse)
his faith in religion and hope that his parents care about him in some way allows him to survive to adulthood but it also sets him back as a person because he was blinded by his own convictions and internalized homophobia. he's also gullible.
-frank : thief of space (prospit)
the sleazy businessman who fund the gang's schemes. inadvertently stuns the twins capability for personal growth and chance to have a new beginning outside of their dysfunctional upbringing by being an absent parent but coming back to them when theyre adults. struggles with feelings of stagnation and unfulfillment. egg motifs.
#homestuck#iasip#whether they win or not depends on if canon ends with them growing or stuck in the same old patterns lol#i think its one of those session that lasts for years before actually culminating in something#like the dancestors session but worse#it would be funny to see though#they will all godtier but not because of plot reasons#mac does the classic mistake of fighting the denizens when the quest wasnt even done yet#dee tried to assasinate the white queen because she wants to have a kingdom of her own#dennis sees this and decides he's going to solo the black king and rule derse. the better kingdom in his opinion#mac also wants to fight the black king. at first they team up but they end up mauling each other in the final fight#meanwhile and charlie and frank in the background is inventing sopor#they both end up as convicts in both derse and prospit and frank's quest planet because he scams and shoots everyone#the duo eventually holed up in charlie's quest planet. a decaying mess caused by charlie smashing all of his consorts#since they look like rats#there will be a subplot where dee dies but nobody wants to revive her so her corpse gets passed around like a hot potato#dennis ends up reviving her ofc. but without a lot of misunderstandings and hilarity since reviving your teammates in sburb requires kissing#he didnt kiss her ofc thats gross. they just eventually found her quest bed and puts her there. when she awakes and undergone her#awesone godtier transformation everyone had left#and before the game even begun the gang refuses to let frank in their game session and let him die in a meteor#even if frank actually knows some sburb lore since he's also counts as the trash twins guardians#ofc this ends up as a doomed timeline. so charlie had to go back and include him in#and while he's at it he prototypes himself and becomes charliesprite#charliesprite is even more incoherent than denimchickensprite#this au is driving me insane

Finally got around to designing some of the oldest members of the og magic cat world story, yknow only took me like 5 years fhfksgkfg
#keese draws#oc posting#oc art#oc#ocs#ok ok tbf all of them had concept designs I had doodled over the past several years but I never actually sat down to draw them properly#but yeah the first is sharp she’s the 4th member of the main ‘protags’ in the seth ari and flutter crew#she’s also a crusty old warcriminal woman so boo and throw tomatoes at her#ok it’s technically more complicated than that but not by much#basically she joined a government agency with her girlfriend to ~tear it down from the inside~ or whatever#but she ended up gutting like all of her morals to climb the ranks and is currently sitting in ‘it’s not the right time’ limbo#she is currently the mentor of the other three and her whole arc is her just being like oh god right morals#and eventually being abandoned by everyone and everything as the consequences of her actions hit#and she realizes that she was always doomed to fail since she was trying to play by the systems rules to break it down#anyways the doggy is shaded and she’s flutter’s girlfriend#shaded got dragged into the main conflict between these two governments after running away from home and dying#she had been rescued by the third character and after she was brought back with the goop™️ ruby put a good word in for her and got shaded#out of the goop gang and took her on as an apprentice#ruby is ofc the last one and she was the girlfriend that joined with sharp to tear down the government#she had been trying to make connections with those she knew were working against the government but after sharp found out abt this she#got told on but hey wow how merciful of sharp she painted it as an accident caused by neglegance so Ruby only got her life %90 ruined#<- sarcasm btw ruby was still put through years of grueling investigation and was fired and had her reputation ruined#so when the guy who I still need to design but he’s like super important trust me was like hey wanna burn ur ex#so she got some magic woo but bad news she’s sort of locked herself into working for a different shitty government#so some lore background in the non magic world there’s a very very large country that controls the entire continent they live on#and when the magic world and the non magic world started colliding more they were all like sick more territory#but while they were still in the planning phase their ambassadors performed a coup and took over and colonized the place for themselves#this was all about 70-90 years ago in world history#so now the goverment controlling the largest magic world kingdom and the goverment in the non magic world country that wanted the land are#in a very slow and so far mostly small scale slap fight as they play a game of chicken
