i love it so much when shinee get music show wins not bc i think they need to establish themselves or become popular (they’ve done those things in the many years of their career and very well if i may add) but bc you can tell how much it means to them to see they’re still relevant and garnering new listeners after 15 years out there (ofc they are they’re SHINee but it’s easy for us to say and you know how much they always question their new singles). i know music show wins aren’t everything but the genuineness of those smiles and the 90 degree bows just give me such a warm feeling 🩵

JUST WATCHED THE ENTIRE FALLOUT SHOW IN ONE SITTING AND I GET TO THE END AND THEY STRAIGHT UP SHOW NEW VEGAS?!!?????
IM GENUINELY TWEAKING AND LOSING MY MIND WHAT!!!!! THE END CARD WITH THE LUCKY 38??? THE TOPS??? ALL THE SECURITRONS???
Maybe other people knew this- maybe it was said somewhere they were gonna do New Vegas stuff- but I went in totally blind and had like 0 expectations that this show was going to directly reference another game.
Like I straight up though this show would stick to its own thing since it didn’t seem like it was adapting any part of the previous games.

#literally LOVE getting people presents esp my close friends bc i can make them so cute + personal#but my fucking. twin. is like the least materialistic person EVER like she never wants anything…#had the brilliant idea 2 make her a personalized advent calendar xmas gift like it’s gonna be SO cute#gonna get 12 little presents package them all nicely etc…but i just know she will not care that much 🥲#whatever tho…it’ll be fun 4 me 2 make i already knitted her a big scarf that’ll probably be day 12…#might do it for my other sister or another friend too i just feel like this is such a good idea….#can go 2 the thrift store & find cute trinkets…get little snacks…buy some fuzzy socks + little hand lotions etc….#then wrapping paper from the thrift store & leftover ribbon from halloween costume. little handmade number cards….#was already planning 2 knit them scarves anyway. scream this is the best present idea and none of them will fully appreciate it 😭😭😭

#Court of the Undying Seasons#aroaessidhe 2023 reads#ok i was kinda hoping this would be more me than most things in its genre niche....but is just kinda is that#why is the main couple a thing? what is the attraction? i feel like I skipped half a book. you’re gonna kill him right#just really did not get that at all lmao. ur usual dark fantasy romance i gues#it’s kind of pitched as ‘she wants to kill vamps!!!’ but like. she immediately learns that’ll be too hard and basically forgets about it lo#i feel like the courts being named after colours reads. well you know it reads like the stereotype of YA with different factions to choose#but I guess I get that if they were called by their alt names it would have been a lot of confusing info to keep track of#the mc being a demigirl is pretty subtle#if you’re looking for it you can see the trans coding#but if you weren’t I feel like it might just read as girl who’s slightly uncomfortable with her appearance…#which is fine I guess. but just so you know if you're picking it up for that#also picked it up for ace side characters but like…. it’s not rly like the authors other books#there’s vague mentions but tbqh I’ve forgotten who is supposed to be ace#(probably because I read like 6 other books between starting and finishing this)#also genderfluid side character who is like. treated as two different people when they’re girl or boy version?#which is sort of treated as a vampire thing but i thought it felt odd#anyway all in all not entirely bad just not for me at all lol

#feeling good about this year guys#i was jotting down any future schedule conflicts i’d have this year for work#went to put down my family’s birthdays and realized most of them happen after i leave for school#which obviously i was aware was coming up but it hit! still 8 months to go but i’m so excited#went apartment shopping with the future roomie today!#and i am SO FCKING EXCITED ABOUT THAT PLACE#the location on campus is PERFECT and i’m in a stem community that offers me so many resources i am so excited and lucky#and i just miss my campus so much i can’t wait to get back#i’m applying for labs and scholarships and internships#and it’s hard to keep myself focused on present times i keep forgetting i have a whole semester and a half to go but whatever#classes start next week i’m excited!#i only have 4 this semester. 2 of them are 5 credits but whateve#i made a friend that’s gonna sit with me in one of my classes and i think that’ll be nice#someone to hold me responsible#might add a chemistry major? we’ll see how this sem goes!#feelin happy! well rested eating well drinking water and reading more!#happy new year <3
