I saw this post about Damian becoming a prosecutor and Harvey is so proud of him for it.
Thoughts?
DUUUDE I love that a lot, but also:
Damian becoming Gotham’s Steve Irwin. That boy would OBSESS.
Catch his mute footsteps slithering along the mansion’s hissing floorboards, with his mother’s infamous agility, sneaking into the cinema to watch documentaries at 6 AM.
Two-Face having multiple heart attacks when he catches their tiny demon glued to the TV.
“Why aren’t you in bed right now?”
“ Why can’t you talk to aligators?”
Bruce knows Damian does this, but he’d absolutely gaslight Harvey into thinking their little terror sleeps all night. He’s not at all going into the sewage system to leave treats for the critters.
Also; Harvey as the father whom VEHEMENTLY forbids Damian from bringing wild animals into their home. A dog? Fine. A cow? Better than a spider. A goddam dragon? Sure, why not.
“You get that damn rat OUT of my house RIGHT now, kid!”
“This is my BABA’S HOUSE, you vile, fatulous, sanctimonious scumbag!”
He gets his youngest sibling rights revoked. They’re given to Jason for a whole week. It’s simultaneously hilarious and terrible and it’s Harvey’s revenge against Bruce for sure.
justified series 1 is a hilarious comedy of errors about a beautiful simpleton who must follow one rule: don't shoot people. except every day he's forced into situations where is quite literally compelled to shoot people.
I'm not including a situation where someone might be injured because in that case I'm thinking the bed goes to them by default or they are nominated for it. anyone who wants to be chatty goes to join the living room floor gang.
What are your thoughts and headcanons? Do you have thoughts on how the boys tend to approach assigning beds in inns? Who do the chain choose to sleep near when camping and why? What are their dynamics like when settling down for the night and getting ready for the day?
In "Mirror Vs Open Closet Door: Fight!" by Gintrinsic (here) Four refers to the chain's decision on how to split up between inn rooms as the "Link-per-room ratio" which I find very funny. He, Sky, and Time also talk about their thought process behind why they do or don't want to sleep in a room with some of the others which I find fun and interesting.
So! If you have thoughts and want to share them! *gestures to the post!*
the king in yellow: i don't hate humans, i'm indifferent to them. they are but ants to me and it would be beneath me to feel any sort of emotions toward such meaningless creatures
also the king in yellow: i have never hated anything as much as i hate this one (1) british man, so much so that i'm making it my personal mission to torment him to hell and back and pull him apart atom by atom for the rest of all eternity
soooo uhmmm I just think more people should give The White Vault a try because 👉👈 well. some people would love Graham Casner merch okay. And there isn't any. NONE!!!!! please.
Not to like say “everyone should listen to naddpod” again, but everyone should listen to naddpod. I know it’s a more rules based dnd podcast with combat in honestly probably every episode, and that’s not some people’s thing, but it just doesn’t drag at all because 1) as I’ve said Brian Murphy is an encounter design god and 2) the players clearly love the game and are having so much fun throughout and it’s just such a joy to listen to and it just helps me fall in love with it all over again. For me, it has the perfect mix of knowing they’re an entertainment podcast and what that means in terms of pacing and in character decision making, while it still being clear that these people aren’t just doing this because it’s a hole they dug themselves into, but because it’s a genuinely enjoyable thing for them
i'm watching the scuffed podcast episode that lando was on in 2020 instead of sleeping (i keep skipping forward/trying to get the lando bits only because it's so awkward/uncomfy 😭 this podcast is definitely not my vibe but i'm pushing through for him) and it's so funny how uncomfortable lando and the one girl on the podcast seem the whole time. like if this were in person they'd definitely be exchanging side eyes and laughing nervously. also the fact that lando clearly didn't know what he was getting himself into when he agreed to come on and the entire first section is just him Realizing and looking increasingly uncomfortable 😭 this poor boy
malevolent liveblogging (uuuh from ep 17 - 20 I believe) continuing DUDE I loved the episode in the pit, almost pissed myself (plus!! Theseus/Minoutaur mention!¡¡ I really wonder how the beast got there. Was it put there as a punishment? Has it always been there?) then the Madness episode which. of course I am very normal about and broooo what is going on with Cain? Mr. Cain? Literally giggling and kicking my feet you could present a million villainous characters who are just having the time of their lives and are being silly goofy and I eat it up everytime. Twice as fun because it's the same voice actor.
Also I'm growing very suspicious of that lighter thanks jonathan sims 😔✌️

"Arthur, whatever happens, I'll never forget you."
"Me neither, John." and what if I speak.
I'm rattling the bars of my cage I thought Arthur was gonna defeat the King in the divorce battle around John with the power of love and yeah surely I suspected that the dagger was a big hint and all this talk about killing himself and not following the path that has been chosen for him BUT STILL WHAT THE FUCK
a lot of my free time is spent listening to a podcast run and researched by a professor of genocide studies who went into those studies specifically bc in an attempt to escape the violence of his angry, alcoholic father he signed up to go off to war in afghanistan only to realize that the whole war and war in general is a) stupid & boring and b) a series of horrific war crimes that had made the civilian population deeply suspicious of him even tho His Morals Were In The Right Place (tm). when he got home and threw himself into being anti violence, joining anarchist orgs & studying theory & trying to understand why he was sent to the other side of the world to be traumatized for no good reason while traumatizing the local population with his very presence, his shithead father died & he found out that his father was Like That bc their family was chased out of armenia because of genocide and it kicked off a cycle of violence & anger in the men of his family. he absolutely lost his shit, got his degree in genocide studies, and moved to armenia (do not ask me how he convinced his wife to do this with him. he’s really open about every other aspect of his life except his wife and kids which is imo very valid).
all that to say, he has this interesting perspective of war in that he has this cultural trauma of being the victim of a horrific crime while also himself being the perpetrator of imperialism & serving in an area that had recently been the site of several horrific war crimes (really similar to tim o’brien, who served in my lai several months after the massacre but didn’t know the massacre had happened & pieced together what happened from the horrified whispers of the civilians & brags from soldiers). it makes him both hyper critical of soldiers who do terrible things & empathetic to soldiers who are forced from home to do terrible things & angry on behalf of civilians who are victims of war crimes. i have ragged on him for being Very Midwestern about certain things but his research is interesting & sad & well done, & it’s really made me think about my own place in The Greater World & every time the internet loses its mind over some aspect of history i am violently reminded that most people just look at history and go “but MY SIDE was justified actually” when that’s such a BABY IDEA OF HOW HISTORY AND WAR WORKS.
