No one knows what really happened in the preserve the night Scott McCall died. Some say it was an animal attack. Some say someone killed him and tried to cover it up. Some say he’s not even dead, and that he faked his own death to escape the small town life.
Stiles knows better though, knows that what he saw that night was neither a person nor an animal, and he’s determined to find out the truth behind his best friend’s murder.
Enter Derek Hale.
Or: the rewrite where Scott dies twenty minutes into the first episode and Stiles goes on a quest to avenge his best friend's murder, unknowingly stepping into the supernatural world until he's drowning in it. He meets Derek along the way.

"[Lou] was a good friend through everything. We had this brother-sister type relationship in the group, and it lasted long after the group split. We would always exchange Christmas cards, Valentine cards. It was one of those friendships where it didn't matter if you didn't see each other a lot. We'd meet up after two years or five years and it would be like we'd seen each other last week. As you get older, you come to realize that that kind of friendship is rare, so I miss him a hell of a lot. It's just dawning on me that he's not out there anymore...Now Andy's gone, Sterling's gone, Nico's gone and Lou's gone. It feels strange. I miss them all, but I really miss Lou.
He was a great songwriter who pushed the boundaries in terms of what he was writing about, but more importantly, he was a good and loyal friend. It doesn't seem right that I won't be sending him a Christmas card." (via)

correspondence from tucker to reed: undated valentine's day card + fax sent on january 1, 1996, referencing reed's obituary for sterling morrison, which had been published the day before in the new york times magazine.

allow me to b controversial for a sec…..i have to b real i find so many of these celebrity women that are so popular on tumblr to be unattractive bc they are so ridiculously sexualized……like those pics of kstew genuinely do nothing for me i’m just like ok…..why r they making this woman stick her hand down her underwear for a photo shoot. and i find it kind of ridiculous of her to be like i want to be gay and hairy and then have her legs and armpits shaved for her photo shoot she’s like i would grow a mustache and happy trail if i could girl u grow leg hair and armpit hair rn and you could show that off if you’d like? and yet u don’t bc? those r not the types of hair that would be traditionally “sexy” are they? so it’s not even abt her wanting to look gay it’s abt wanting to look sexy again……i just find it so eye roll tbh. like maybe i’m crazy but i think a pic of a woman in a t-shirt and sweatpants w no makeup is 10000% more attractive than most of these photo shoot pics ppl drool over on tumblr dot com……..like i get it i’m not saying ppl are wrong to find it attractive bc it was made to be attractive but like my feminist brain simply kicks in and i don’t find things so obvs made for the male gaze to be attractive. bc even tho she wanted to look gay ultimately she is still conforming to male gaze created beauty standards…….maybe in her particular case i wouldn’t be so critical if she wasn’t so disingenuous abt it but like. in general i would just like it if women did not have to stick their hands down their underwear for the cover of a magazine ykwim……..
