Why is it that whenever I try to draw hands using an actual, like, reasoned method, they always look GARBAGE.
BUT THEN.
WHEN I INEVITABLY JUST GO "FUCK IT" AND FREE-HAND THEM WITH NO THOUGHT BEYOND ~VIBE~
THEY ACTUALLY LOOK (SOMEWHAT) OKAY?
WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE

a dump of some of my older stuff. i can’t remember who this was supposed to be. i think it may have been Nora from Flat Dreams or it was just very early Elizabeth / Elizabeth’s mother concepts. either way, i love victorian blouses so i had to give a little line one.
[ID: five monochrome traditional drawings of an original, stylised Flatland character.
She has a thin, humanoid body with pitch black skin, an eye for a head with long eyelashes and (depending on the photo) she has either a blunt, sharp or no point on top, arms but no legs - her legs have been replaced by a single point. She is wearing a victorian-styled blouse and a long black or grey skirt.
In the first photo, she is standing with her arms by her side and staring directly at the viewer with a wide-eyed expression.
In the second photo, she is sitting down with her hands held together on her lap. She is looking to the bottom left with a gentle expression.
In the third photo, she is standing with her body curving over to the right and holding a lantern in her left hand. Her right hand is in front of her skirt and she is looking to the left with a neutral expression.
In the fourth photo, she is standing upright with her arms lowered and her hands joined in front of her skirt. Her head is slightly tilted to the right and she has a tired expression. She is looking to the bottom right.
In the fifth photo, she is faced sidewards and looking towards the right with a wide-eyed expression. Her hands are lowered in front of her skirt and she positioned as if wind is strongly blowing on her and pushing her to the right of the screen. Her clothes are flowing in the direction of the wind.
End ID.]
