Re-draw of a drawing of season two gem (first/left one is the old one, newest one is the second/right! Three month difference!!)
(My artstyle is non existent I open up a new file, black out and then I wake up with a completed new art piece)
Most of my head-cannons are the same from a post a while ago, but I do have some new ones (and by new ones I mean ones with jimmy, their bestie dynamic is extremely underrated imo)
Like for example her earring is a poorly made gold bee (it has ragged edges and it’s paint job looks like it was done by a five year old) made by jimmy as a gift of ally ship, Jimmy is terrible at jewellery making but gem still wears it with pride
When she first got her butterfly wings, Jimmy came running to her a couple days later, uncontrollably sobbing, completely incoherent and full body shaking from his tears, when Gem asked him what was wrong he responded with “Butterfly’s only live 15-29 days gem! Your going to die!” She was in-fact, not going to die in 15-29 days but it did make her very paranoid for the next month
Her and sausage are 100% gossip buddies, if you got a secret? Then it’s also gem and sausages secret as well. If it’s spoken in the dead of night with no witnesses? Then the next day it’s going to be spoken in their gossip session.

The one they only remember through pieces of history, not through memories.
Hc that there’s many pearl statues scattered across the world, it’s pixls personal mission to find them all and preserve them.
Which is an extremely hard challenge, not only because of the statues Deteriorating over time because of natural causes, but because of Jimmy, oli, sausage and fwhip
Sausage believes he should be the one to have them (a fact pixl heavily disagrees with, the man has no knowledge or experience of preservation), jimmy’s well… he’s jimmy, and would probably accidentally destroy the statue while fifty feet away from it by his pure accident prone presence, and the Diamond bone accident will never be forgotten, and oli once tried to smash one with a sledgehammer, with the reason of “I have personal issues with that damn lady”
Oh and fwhip keeps on doing graffiti on the statues, he doesn’t understand how he can successfully draw a Moustache on a fragile, centuries old statue and not break it. He hates to admit it, but that’s a talented skill
But Anyway I’m back! Kinda. I’m currently a bit under the weather (nothing serious dw!) And schools is taking up a lot of time unfortunately but im actively drawing fandom stuff again!

The sun is always watching
My empires season two Gem design! Absolutely love her to death
(You remember when I said my next post would be my scar design? Yeah me neither)
Now for headcanons (I’m not trying to distract u, how dare u even assume such a thing)
E2!Gem wears butterfly makeup 24/7 and it somehow never gets ruined. Not even in the rain
The gem/crystal in the middle of the crown is dangled by a chain and as pretty as it is, it’s very impractical because when Gem moves around the crystal hits the sides of the crown and it makes a loud ding (gem and jimmy learned that the hard way, let’s just say it’s an absolute nightmare in the deep dark)
It’s also a running joke/saying that if you hear the Jingle of bells getting louder at night, don’t be afraid, it’s probably just Gem trying to get home before curfew
hopefully no new lore will completely destroy this headcanon, but the reason gem and Jimmy are such close allies is because both of their empires are so close to the sun (gems whole empire is based on the sun/worships it and jimmy is literally living in the hottest Biome, the mesa/desert)
And last but not least Gem isn’t really allowed in Scott’s empire and Vice versa surprisingly, you would think because bees and flowers mix but nope! Unfortunately every time Gem visits she either causes the bees to follow her back to her empire or somehow causes a bee infestation in Scott’s empire. And Scott’s cant come to Gems as he gets covered head to toe in Bees, he’s a walking flower to them in sight and smell. (TLDR: she ruins the bee population in Scott’s empire and Scott becomes a walking flower. They are still besties though)

Finally finished my grian design!

Eyes of the chromia ruler
Headcanon that the chromia people (including Scott) have flowers as freckles :)
They wilt when the person is hurt or they feel any type of extreme negative emotion (e.g a break up or a betrayal)
And Normally your flowers stay the exact same since the day you are born, but Scott is an exception as his royal blood makes his flowers change on his emotions (e.g red roses when he’s feeling flirty/romantic or white tulips, Lilly of The Valley and purple hyacinth if he’s feeling sorry/regretful, and so on)
its also said that the type of flower showcases what type of person you are (people with flowers that have negative connotations are judged harshly unfortunately)
