Ramadan Mubarak to all those celebrating, for the first timers and to the fiftieth timers, may Allah have mercy upon us all in this blessed month.

Please remember all those who are oppressed in your duas and want for your brother what you would want for yourself. Do not let this month full of blessings and mercy go by without making sincere prayers for the freedom of the oppressed.

May Allah free Palestine, Syria, Congo, Sudan, Kashmir, Armenia, Uighur, and all those who are suffering under tyranny at this moment.

I have a post explaining the situation in Sudan and linking many other GoFundMes and charities you can donate to, but I think that boosting some links in particular might give more incentive for donations, so I picked these two in particular since you can always donate to them.

The aim of the first one is to deliver emergency basic needs, food and medicine. Funds will be transferred directly to local charities and organization who are managing those shelters to make sure that the funds are well received and is spent on the needs specified.

The second fundraiser helps provide women in IDPs camps with reusable pads. As of posting this, [26/04/24], they are less than halfway to their goal.

It has been confirmed that the 1st day of Eid will be this Wednesday, so to all my fellow muslims out there, Eid Mubarak and may Allah accept your good deeds that you did throughout the month of Ramadan and i hope that you made the most out of it spiritually, religiously, socially, mentally & physically etc…

I hope that you did not forget to pray and make dua’a for the people of Gaza, Sudan, Syria, Yemen and all oppressed people around the world, and i wish that you continue to pray for them even after Ramadan is over…

This Eid we shall not celebrate as we do each and every year, you can obviously visit your family and friends and gather up to enjoy being around loved ones, but don’t forget that Gazans have no loved ones this year to celebrate with, and even if they do, they’ll be celebrating Eid amidst the rubble and the sound of bombings.

So please, respect people’s grief, be thankful and grateful, and don’t forget the oppressed… let’s continue our fight for Palestinian liberation in any way that we can, and let’s hope to hear news about a ceasefire very soon 🙏

i tried to make a political cartoon- it doesn't have as much symbolism as i wanted to, but im pretty proud of this!

i got the inspo from a convo me and my sister had. she would always try to counter my points with "well, i dont live there" "its not gonna affect me" or "i cant do much, im just a kid anyway".

and all of this isnt true.

You can slow the funding! Protests exist, especially the peaceful ones. You dont even have to protest, boycott brands and businesses who support this bullshit. Make homemade stuff to get your damned fix.

and if you refuse to do so, that just lets the whole world know you'd rather drink a damn lavender latte than spare 5 children of early death.

everything that is happening will concern everyone on the globe, especially america, because this determines whether or not we fight for our cause or let history repeat itself.

our ancestors, proud activists, and modern day people haven't and won't work this hard only for us to fail. Or even worse, ignore it and make it grow. it goes against human morals, it makes many groups of people get hate, and it shows how low people consider the bar for basic human decency, if that.

whats gonna happen to everyone, and i mean everyone, is chaos. (more than it already is- but you get my point)

if a tiny democracy, who cant even consider themselves a country better yet a state, can take down millions of people, kill off generations, fulfill an ethnic cleansing, ignore protests and collect proper fundings to do so, record and dehumanize said people, make billions of people watch this with an evil grin and a shitty bag of reasons,

who else do you think is gonna try?

Not sure if anyone needs to hear this but Instagram is adding a filter for political subjects.

It will limit the amount of politics you see on your feed. This is added automatically and you have to manually turn it off if you want to be able to see anything about the current humanitarian crises. I'm not sure how to turn it off myself, you guys will have to look it up (sorry). This is something that definitely seems sketchy considering that Instagram is a platform that's used ALOT for Palestinian news reporters. Stay alert to the genocide in Palestine, and make sure to keep up to date on current events. You have to know how to find what you're looking for, because every day Palestinians and news reports talking about Palestinians (and more of the MANY humanitarian crises going on right now) are being silenced or hidden from view. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. FIND VALUABLE NEWS SITES AND ACCOUNTS. KEEP THE PALESTINIANS RELEVANT.

does anyone have any resources to use about what's going on in Sudan currently? i'd like to write about it for my school's newspaper, but i'm not sure where to start my research
