After General Anesthesia
Tumblr media
Alex Cabot x Casey Novak x fem!reader Warnings: hospital times, fluffity fluff, mentions of sex, poly representation so if you're not on board with that byeeeeee, some explicit language Word Count: 1.3k
Summary: You wake up in the hospital, groggy from the anesthesia, to two of the most beautiful women you've ever seen doting on you. Imagine your surprise when it turns out you're dating. Both of them.
Your ears and nose woke up before the rest of you. The beeping of various monitors, that sickly-clean alcohol smell. You knew before you’d opened your eyes that you were in a hospital. You’d spent too much time in hospitals with your brother not to know. You blinked against the fluorescent lights, wincing at a sudden, sharp pain in your leg.
Your head still felt fuzzy, and you didn’t remember why you were here. But your confused thoughts were interrupted as one of the most stunning  women you’d ever seen in your life rushed at you, kissing your face, cupping your cheeks, and grasping your fingers in hers.
“Honey, she’s awake!” Alex called to Casey, her glasses slipping down her nose as she smiled softly at you, worried hands fluttering over your face, your arms, your body.
Casey quickly occupied the space next to Alex, leaning down and holding the palm of your hand to her flushed face. “I swear to god, Y/N, if you ever scare us like that again…”
You were dreaming. You had to be dreaming. Because a hot woman fawning over you in a hospital bed was unbelievable enough. Two hot women?  That was the stuff of dreams, not reality. You had no idea who they were.
The doctors had told Casey and Alex to expect some temporary memory loss and confusion after the general anesthesia. They’d told you, too, but of course you didn’t remember.
Your words felt heavy as they fell out of your mouth, jumbled like marbles. “What’s going on?”
“You broke your ankle, sweetheart, remember?” Alex responded, scooting her chair closer to the bed so she could sit next to you and hold your hand. “But it went septic. You were very sick.”
“Yes, and you scared the hell out of me,” Casey finished, grasping your face and planting a firm kiss on your forehead before sitting down, too. She leaned over the bed railing to rest her head on your thigh, looking up at you.
You’d never felt so flustered and confused in your life. Two women. Two women holding your hand!? Touching you!?  But as confused as you were, all the questions in your brain were drowned out by one, single, all-consuming thought: so, so beautiful. You felt like you’d been hit head-on by a dump truck of hormones and emotions.
“You two…” you started, words slurring like you were drunk, “...are so pretty. Like, wow.”
They shared a confused glance as you continued to ramble.
“Please tell me you’re single?” you asked, trying to wink and blinking instead. “At least one of you?”
A smile tugged at the corner of Alex’s mouth, and Casey was barely holding in her laughter.
“Wait, wait, wait,” you said, holding up a hand and gesticulating wildly. “Let me try something. I’ve been working on this.”
Casey’s shoulders had started to shake with laughter, and Alex’s eyes sparkled with mirth.
You hit them with your very best finger guns. “Hey, girl. Are you a savings account? Because I’m accruing interest in you.”
At this, Alex and Casey burst out laughing, falling into one another, equal parts delighted by your post-surgery high and relieved that you were really and truly going to be okay.
“Wait! I’ve got more!” You waggled your eyebrows at Alex, and the way she looked at you, you knew–even in your doped-up, memory-loss state–that there was no need for pick-up lines here. She was already yours. Hook, line, and sinker. But since you had it prepped: “Hey, girl. It’s just you and me in the sheets tonight. The spreadsheets! Let’s budget, baby!”
Casey was laughing so hard she was snorting, and Alex was gingerly wiping tears from under eyes, trying to smudge her mascara. You felt like you were on cloud nine. If you could do nothing else in your life except make these two women laugh, you’d die happy.
“Come on,” you needled, smiling ear to ear. “Look at me, I’m adorable. I’m charming. You know you want to give me a chance.”
Alex coughed, trying to pull herself together, and Casey leaned down again, placing her chin on your leg and staring up at you lovingly.
“Y/N, you know we’re dating, right?”
Your eyebrows shot up and you stared at her. Her auburn hair that looked soft as the surface of water. Her eyes. Her body. “Me and you!? Are dating!?”
“No, we’re all dating,” Casey explained, gesturing between the three of you. “Me and you and Alex.”
You glanced at Alex to confirm and she nodded, smiling cheekily.
Your jaw dropped as you took in this new information. You put a hand on your head as if this was all just too much for you. And, in your current state, it kind of was.
“Me!?” you asked, glancing between them. “You’re… both of you!?”
They nodded, grinning and trying not to laugh.
“Holy shit,” you said, spurring another fit of laughter from the chairs next to your bed. “This is crazy!”
You sat and thought for a few minutes, mouth gaping.
“You alright, love?” Alex asked, running her thumb back and forth across your wrist.
You leaned toward them, as if to share a secret, then gasped sharply at the pain.
“Ow!”
“Jesus, Y/N! Lay back!” Casey complained, trying to sound stern but really just sounding worried. She stood and gently shoved your body back down into the pillows. “I think we broke her brain, Alex.”
“Psst!” you hissed at them, your impaired brain feeling inexplicably salty about being left out of their conversation.
“What, you dork!?” Casey exclaimed.
You squinted conspiratorially at them. “Do we… you know?...”
Casey and Alex swiveled their heads to look at each other, then collectively burst out laughing again.
“Oh, yeah,” Casey assured you.
“We sure do,” Alex added.
“All three!?”
They nodded at you, still chuckling.
“Wow. Jesus fucking Christ. Am I dreaming right now!?”
“Believe it or not, no,” Casey said, watching as your eyes fluttered between open and shut. You needed to sleep. She could tell.
She ran her thumb across your eyebrows and down the bridge of your nose, back and forth, back and forth. A surefire way to put you to sleep. Alex and Casey knew all your tricks.
You exhaled deeply, trying so hard to keep your eyes open.
“Go to sleep, baby,” Casey whispered lovingly. “When you wake up you’ll remember.”
You mumbled as you drifted between sleeping and waking. “I’m not tired. I can’t be tired, I have two girlfriends to take care of.”
Alex and Casey smiled at one another. Alex stood and wrapped her arms around Casey’s waist, planting a kiss on her cheek as they watched you fall asleep.
“Two girlfriends,” you continued, your words losing volume and speed. “The nicest, smartest, prettiest girlfriends. So pretty. So many boobs.”
“God, I wish we’d recorded this,” Casey whispered, placing a soft kiss on your cheek before leaning back in her chair.
Alex dropped her phone onto Casey’s lap, the screen showing an active voice recording.
Casey fist-pumped silently, pulling Alex down by the collar for a quick kiss.
“I love you,” Casey said, unlocking Alex’s phone to send herself the recording.
“I love you, too,” Alex chuckled. She foraged in her bag by the door before pulling her chair close to you, propping up a book with one hand and holding yours with the other. “I love our girl, Case.”
“She’s something else, isn’t she?” Casey observed, smiling softly and shaking her head at your drugged, sleeping form. “How’d we get so lucky?”
“Pure, dumb luck,” Alex decided, flipping a page and absentmindedly rubbing the back of your hand.
Casey stood and stretched, then slumped onto the sorry excuse for a couch in the corner of the room, kicking off her shoes.
“I’m exhausted,” she groaned, pulling off one sock and then the other. “It’s a good thing we weren’t both out of town this weekend. I was up all night with her before she finally agreed to go to the hospital. Stubborn asshole.”
“Reminds me of someone else I know.”
“Shut up, Alex,” Casey protested, grinning, before throwing a sock at her.
“Why don’t you sleep?” Alex suggested, ignoring the sock on the floor next to her. “Get some rest, honey. I’ll wake you when she’s up again.”
Casey nodded and folded her arms over her chest, letting herself drift off, snoring softly as she always did and always swore she didn’t.
Alex set down her book and looked at her two sleepy girls, knowing there wasn’t a thing in the world she wouldn’t do for you and Casey.
“So fucking lucky,” she whispered, drawing your hand to her lips to kiss your knuckles.

Alex’s phone buzzed on the prosecution table, the soft vibrating disturbing her concentration on the defence’s opening argument. When she saw your name flash across the screen her hand reached out for the device, you knew she was in court that afternoon, she only hoped it wasn’t an emergency. She faltered slightly when she opened the message, her breath catching in her throat at the sight on the screen. You were sprawled across your shared bed, draped only in a barely there pair of lacy blue panties, her attention was completely drawn to the image, feeling a heat building in her at a wildly inappropriate time. Her fingers swiftly typed out a reply to your message
‘Can you stop sending me nudes, I am at work!’
Your response came just as fast,
‘That excuse never stopped you when I was working’ Complete with another picture, this times sans panties. She nearly dropped her phone when Judge Barth’s voice broke through her lust filled fantasies.
“Ms Cabot?” Her head shot up to the other woman, having completely missed what the Judge had asked the first time, “Call your first witness.”
“Ah..yes. My apologies Your Honour.” Clearing her throat she glanced down at the paperwork in front of her briefly before grounding herself back into work mode. She found herself mainly able to focus her way through her questioning, but when the defence was up doing their cross, her mind continually drifted back to the images of you.
Unluckily for both of you, the trail ran much later than expected, a bomb drop of information coming out from one of the witnesses while on the stand meant the detectives were off running after a new lead. This also meant Alex ended up pouring over case files and reworking arguments in her office well past dinner time.
By the time she finally did get home, the apartment was dark, a light glow coming from a lamp in the bedroom, the sounds of the shower running from the en suite. She changed into a pair of comfy pyjama shorts and a tank, moving about the apartment making sure everything was in place for the morning. The sounds of the shower stopped, a few minutes later a cloud of steam escaped into the bedroom when you opened the door,
“‘Bout time you got home.” You greeted with a smirk. Alex turned to you, a brow cocked slightly at your appearance.
“Is that my shirt?” She knew the answer, she also knew the game you were playing at, you definitely weren’t wearing anything else under it.
“Well since somebody clearly did like me nude, I had to put something on.” You wrapped your arms around her neck, grinning at the way her arms linked around your waist, pulling you to her in a warm kiss. Her teeth bit into your lower lip, tugging it away from your mouth as she pulled away from the kiss, letting it snap back to you.
“You were a bit of a brat today, you know that right?” The gleam in her eye was fiery, her fingers tickled at the low hem of the shirt, chuckling at the way you rolled your hips toward her, eager for her touch, “Uh-uh…” She backed up til she hit the edge of the bed, dropping down to sit on it, “It’s my thigh or nothing. I’m not helping you get off.” She gave you a once over, “Strip.” You quickly tugged off the shirt, feeling the heat in your core rise at the way Alex’s eyes slowly dragged up your body, drinking in your naked form. Her eyes settled on yours and she gave a little nod of her head as instruction for you to get started.
Settling over her lap, she buried a hand into your hair, pulling you into a bruising kiss. You immediately submitted to her, moaning against her lips when her tongue ran across yours, you couldn’t help but grind down against her, hands cupping her cheeks while you leaned into the kiss. Her hands gripped your hips tightly, shifting you slightly so your pussy was right over her bare thigh before encouraging you to begin to roll your hips. You broke free of the kiss, a gasp escaping your lips as your over sensitive clit rolled against her leg a few times, smearing your juices across her skin. You’d been riled up all afternoon, the pictures being the start of the whole thing, barely able to keep the thought of fucking Alex out of your head. You buried your face into the crook of her neck while you continued to thrust against her body, whimpers and groans leaving your lips. It was then that Alex glanced up over your shoulder, noticing that you’re placement on the bed was directly across from the stand alone full length mirror. She grasped your chin in between her thumb and forefinger, bringing your eyes to hers,
“Turn around.” She smirked, your face was one of slight confusion, but you did as she said, eager to please. Alex’s hands dug into your hips, pulling you flush against her chest as you started thrusting against her thigh again. “Open your eyes sweetheart.” She husked against the shell of your ear.
You obeyed, eyes meeting hers in the mirror, taking in the absolutely sinful view in the mirror. You, naked, body shivering in pleasure as your sopping pussy dragged across Alex’s skin. She trailed her lips across your shoulder, biting at the crook of your neck, smirking at the trail of whimpers coming out of your mouth.  One of her hands moved upwards, cupping your breast, rolling the nipple between her fingers, pinching at it, the sensation made you whine, grinding down on her leg even hard, desperate for the friction on your clit.
“Good girl…just like that.” Alex laid a gentle kiss against your skin, “You look so fucking sexy right now. Perfect little pussy’s absolutely soaked.” Her teeth dug into your skin again, a little cry echoed through the room as she flexed her thigh, the muscle hitting right onto your clit on a particularly hard thrust.
“Please…more…” You choked out, gaining eye contact with her in the mirror again. She smirked, knowing exactly what you were begging for, with one last tug of your nipple her hand snuck up your body, fingers encasing around your throat. Your hips continued to roll, speeding up with the added pleasure as Alex’s hand squeezed tighter, your eyes screwed shut as you felt your body tingling, thighs vibrating around hers.
“Come for me. You’ve done so well.” She murmured against your skin, hastily relieving the pressure on your throat before clamping her hand down again. You let out as much of a yelp as you could, the fire burning through your skin shooting to your core, you collapsed back against Alex, chest heaving as your orgasm washed over you. You shivered at the feeling of her hands soothingly rubbing at your sides before she moved your body from the now uncomfortable position, twisting you so you were back to facing her in her lap. “Feel better baby?”
“Yes.” A whisper of breath against her lips before you kissed her gently.
“Good.” She smirked, “‘Cause you’ve still got to make up for being a brat today.” Her fingers slipped her shorts to the side, swiping juices from her folds before bringing them up to your lips, “You see how wet you make me? Been thinking about you all day.” Your eyes stayed trained on hers as your lips wrapped around her digits, groaning at the taste of her as you sucked them clean.
Gently, you shoved her down against the pillows, kissing her deeply before moving down the bed, pulling off her shorts as you settled between her legs. You wasted no time before beginning your assault, your tongue slowly swiping through her folds, flicking gently against her clit. You moaned against her pussy, sucking her lips into your mouth, tongue delving in, pulling as much of her juices out.
Alex’s hand shot to your hair, tangling into your locks with a moan from here lips, you linked your fingers with her other hand, smirking at the way her nails dug into your skin as you groaned into her sensitive spot. Your tongue toyed with her clit before you wrapped your lips around it, easily slipping a finger into her heat. She moaned out your name, hand tugging at the roots of your hair, hips rolling against you as your fingers pumped in to her, twisting and curling at her pulsating  walls. You curled your fingers, tapping against her g-spot, upping the pressure with each tap as your tongue flicked at her clit, lips sucking heavily at it. You could feel the way her walls were throbbing against your hand, the ferocity behind her hips as they thrusted up against your mouth, the way her thighs were starting to quake. Her chest was heaving, a string of breathless whimpers escaping those beautiful lips, her hand gripped into your hair tighter. You pumped your fingers faster, suctioning your lips around her clit, heavily tapping against the spongey spot inside her pussy. With one last heavy push Alex felt her body explode, a wanton moan echoing throughout the room as her she reached her peak. You laid a soft kiss to her inner thigh, giving her a moment to come down before you crawled up her body, kissing her deeply.
“Am I forgiven?”She chuckled at that, rolling her head to face you, softly stroking at your cheek.
“Yes.” You kissed her palm in return, “But if you’re going to keep sending me nudes can you not do it while I’m in court?” You let out a giggle, pecking at her cheek quickly.
“I’ll try…” She couldn’t help the scoff she let out, rolling her eyes.
“You’re incorrigible.”
“Yeah but I’m yours.”You snuggled up against her side, curling your body around hers, humming happily at the feeling of her hand playing with your hair.
“You most certainly are.” Alex kissed your head softly, wrapping her arms around you. You may have been a bit of a brat on multiple occasions, but there was no doubt that she loved you more than anything, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kiss and Tell*
Tumblr media
Title: Kiss and Tell Pairing: Alex Cabot x Reader MINORS DNI, 18+ Warnings: smut, top Alex, bottom reader, strap-on R WC: 543
All of Y/n's nerves about the night melted away as Alex kissed her. They had been planning this night for weeks, and Alex was absolutely overjoyed that it had finally arrived. Y/n had always been more comfortable giving than receiving, but Alex could see the frustration building up. Y/n sneaking off to touch herself in the dead of night after hooking up with Alex was no longer doing it for her. Alex had let Y/n take her time with everything from planning to psyching herself up. Alex understood the fear that came with letting someone else touch and witness you at your most vulnerable. If it wasn't for the alcohol and sexual frustration that Alex had been feeling prior to hooking up with Y/n, she would have been in the same boat.
"I don't want to rush you, but can we please get on with this?" Alex glanced up from where she had been sitting in between Y/n's legs in shock. They had spent so much of the night stalling that Alex had honestly begun to suspect Y/n would back out. "I'm sorry, but I've been waiting all night and I'm uncomfortably wet right now. So please, just take care of me."
"O-of course," Alex said as she sat up on her knees. Y/n laid back down against the mattress as she watched Alex coat the dildo she'd be using with lube. Alex's fingers had been teasing Y/n quite a bit throughout the night, and this strap couldn't have been thicker than that. They had agreed on something smaller to use while Y/n was still getting used to the feeling of being Alex's bottom. Alex positioned the tip at Y/n's entrance, but paused before making the first thrust in. "Are you sure that you're okay with this?" \
"Yes. Alex, please, just fuck me," Y/n begged. Alex felt her chest swell with pride as she slowly eased in. Y/n made noises that Alex had never heard from her before, ones that she hadn't even imagined. She had reduced the big, tough detective to a mess of moans and whimpers in a matter of seconds. Alex kept a slow pace until Y/n started to move her hips for more. Alex grabbed onto Y/n's hips and began to really fuck her.
"You're doing so good," Alex muttered her praises as she thrust Y/n into the mattress. Alex's body closed in over Y/n's, changing the angle with each inch that she moved. Y/n's fists were balled up around the sheets, and her body writhed in pleasure as Alex fucked her. The room was filled with the sounds of Y/n's moans, which just barely overpowered the sounds of wetness as Alex thrust in and out of Y/n's cunt. The sounds coming from Y/n's mouth grew to be more breathy than the last as she stumbled into her climax. She would have liked to think that she was graceful as she came, but Y/n knew better than that. She came crashing down like a tsunami wave: destructive and messy. And yet, Alex was there for her to clean up the mess and soothe her rapidly beating heart.

Forget Me Not
Olivia looked at her carefully. “You don’t look too great, Alex, how about I go home with you? I can work on all this from the apartment.” She began packing up papers.
Alex’s shoulders slumped a little in relief.
Olivia extended an arm for her to latch onto. “C’mon, Lexie, let’s get you home.”
They walked back to the apartment, hand in hand, Alex distractedly following Liv as she always did, considering the detective had a far better sense of direction. It took about ten minutes before Alex realized they were walking towards their old apartment, the one they lived in before Emma started school.
Without a word, she squeezed Olivia’s hand and turned them in the correct direction.

She’s Been to Hell And Back ~S13!Alex Cabot xFem Wife!Reader(feat. Casey, Rita, Liz, Liv & Amanda)
Tumblr media
Summary— Alex is kidnapped and tortured. That’s pretty much it. It’s a very long and indulgent fic of Alex x Reader.
Mommy… Master List
Requests & Prompt-List
Warnings: [MATURE], explicit torture, violence, kidnapping, humiliation, implied torture, angst, anxiety attacks, knife, guns, torture devices, branding, cigarette burns, burning, begging, crying, and so much more mature content, Rita being an aunt and a boss bitch, Liz losing her shit, Munch being munch, Amaro being an asshat, Casey barely keeping it together, read at your own risk!!
Enjoy (;
You stepped into the SVU squad room, looking around at the major bustling and chaos of the room. You fidgeted with the hem of your shirt anxiously, biting your lips and nails as well. You were frozen. You couldn’t process it all. Your eyes then landed on a person who you knew could help.
Casey.
Casey had been the one to call you. She hadn’t told you much, only that you need to come to svu immediately. You had dropped work for this. Left straightaway. It all made you extremely anxious. Why would they need you…? Unless…
You shook the terrible thoughts coming up out of your mind, instead springing into action. You walked up to Casey in the middle of the chaos.
“Hey Case!” You called to the redhead who was swiftly fluttering through pages.
Casey jumped at her name and her eyes shot up to you. Suddenly her gaze softened and she looked at you with concern.
“Y/N’s here!!” Casey shot across the room, and everyone practically stopped in their tracks and looked at you.
You gulped and looked around anxiously, pulling your bag closer to you defensively.
“Case… what’s going on…?” You stammered.
Casey couldn’t meet your gaze. Olivia suddenly came out of the Captain’s office and walked through the squad room, followed by Cragen peeking out of his office, telling everyone to get back to work. The shuffling and bustling immediately picked back up again. The noise wasn’t helping you one bit.
You suddenly felt a hand on your back shoulder, and you jumped slightly. You turned around, relaxing a bit to see it was only Olivia with a warm and caring smile.
“Y/N, let’s go into Cragen’s office, yeah…?” The brunette gently suggested.
After you slowly nodded with parted lips of confusion, Olivia led you by her hand on your back to the Captain’s office. She opened the door for you and closed it behind the two of you. Both SVU members looked tense and concerned.
“What exactly… is going on…?” You tensed out through partially gritted teeth, frustration now hitting you in waves.
Olivia guided you to sit down with her, before she but her lip and explained,
“Y/N… Alex didn’t show up for court a couple of hours ago… We… don’t know where she is. She’s not answering her phone, we can’t track it, it’s dead.”
Your heart sunk. And there was now a limp in your throat. Your heart only raced faster and you suddenly felt dizzy.
Olivia could tell that this was a lot to take in, so she gently held you on both sides of your arms.
“That’s not all…” Cragen sighed.
You looked up at the Captain with glossy eyes and a trembling lip.
“W-what…?” You stammered, bringing your arms into your chest and holding yourself.
“We think Alex was… taken.” He explained slowly.
“W-why would you think that…??” You exclaimed, the anger in you now swelling.
Cragen and Olive exchanged looks. Cragen nodded and relented into the brunettes insistence.
“Come on, let me show you something.” Olivia softly spoke.
She led you outside to the squad room and the media corner. Next to all the screens there was a board. A board of at least 100 photographs. And they were all of Alex. Alex and all the people she interacted with. You were on there, and so was Olivia, and Casey, and Rita, and Liz, and Amanda, and so on.
The pictures were practically Alex’s entire life since she’d been with you. This was years of photos. Some of them looked like they could have been snapped by a news reporter outside the courts. But others, much more intimate pictures of the two of you, could have only been captured by active camera surveillance.
You gasped, bringing your hand to your mouth, as you let out a choked sob that you couldn’t contain anymore. Your stomache sunk. You proceeded to collapse on the floor, and were lucky that Amanda was right by you. The Southern blonde was quick to scoop you up and guide you to take a seat in her desk chair.
She then tried to talk to you, but your mind was spiraling. Suddenly a big boom of stacks of paperwork falling across the squad room brought you back to reality with a jolt.
“Y/N? Y/N, there you are, ‘hun. Hey. Heyyy. It’s going to be okay, alright…?” Amanda reassured you.
“But h-how… do you know that…?” You choked out, the tears continuing to pour out.
At that, Amari and Fin walked into the squad room.
“It’s out lucky day! Perp’s blood was at the scene, that girl put up a fight…!” Amara exclaimed, not having realized that you were there.
You immediately stood up and turned to face Amaro. Nick’s eyes went wide and his face struggled to give away the fact that he knew he had fucked up.
“What scene? What…?? What happened??” You exclaimed with a gasp, frustration and anger running through your veins once more.
Amanda pulled you towards her and into her embrace. Her touch calmed you a little, but right now, you really needed it to be Alex’s touch. After a minute, her hug actually and surprisingly helped.
“Thanks…” you muttered.
Amanda shrugged and smiled lightly, as if it was nothing.
“Learned that in Atlanta, had a partner who had anxiety attacks.” The blonde told you, “It’s a grounding thing.”
You listened and nodded along. But your mind quickly started to wander back to Alex again.
“Wait what scene? Do you know where she was taken…??” You asked.
Amanda sighed and stood up, telling you to wait here. She checked in with Cragen in his office, before coming back to you and grabbing her keys.
“Come on, let’s go for a ride.” Amanda told you, indicating for you to follow her.
You gulped and nodded, silently following the Southern blonde with your wobbly legs. You two got into her patrol car, and she began driving. The ride was silent. You had now become numb, your feelings too much to bear. You didn’t want to go down the rabbit hole of what could go wrong… So you stayed in the ignorance of feeling numb.
After about 15-20 minutes, Amanda pulled up to you and Alex’s shared brownstone. You gulped as your eyes widened as it began to click for you.
“This is…” you stammered, trying to find the words.
“Come on, Darling. I’ll explain inside.” Amanda gently reassured you, squeezing your left hand caringly, before getting out of the car.
You followed the blonde detective up the steps of your brownstone and inside. No one was here anymore. But it was a mess, all taped up with crime scene tape and marked with evidence markers and such. It made your stomache flip upside down when you saw blood on the kitchen doorway.
“What Amaro said, that asshole… was that Alex didn’t go down without a fight…” Amanda explained, taking your hand in reassurance as you walked through the torn apart apartment.
“Alex managed to make her kidnapper bleed.” Amanda breathed out.
At that you looked at the woman with wide eyes.
“So you can find out who they are?” You immediately asked.
Amanda bit her inner cheek and looked way slightly.
“Yeaaa ideally yes… but we already ran it, and he’s not in the system…” she explained.
Any and all hope that you had just gained was lost all over again. Amanda squeezed your hand again in reassurance.
“So what’s next…? What can I do?” You asked, desperate to do anything, to get her back, to see her again.
“First, we are going to walk through your place and go through the events, at least what we know. See if any of it jogs your memory of like someone who would want to harm Alex…” Amanda breathed out.
You shuttered and nodded slowly.
“Then when Olivia and Cragen give the go ahead, I’ll take you back to svu and Olivia will properly interview you…”
You gulped, yet nodded again.
“Ok, let’s do it…” you breathed out.
Amanda nodded and guided you by your hand, walking you through the scene. All your feelings came crashing back as the blonde detective walked you through the theory SVU had of what happened.
Alex hadn’t even left for the office yet, having not needed to go in as early that day… You and already left for work, when someone had come to the door. Alex must have known the person, because she let them in (or they had a gun). The main struggle was in the kitchen. SVU assumed that Alex had most likely tried to reason with whomever the perp was, but it went south in the kitchen. Alex’s blood was on the counter, in a circular mark that upheld that the assailant had violently cracked Alex’s head down upon the counter. There were also blood splatters of Alex’s going from the kitchen and out the door, by the amount and pattern of the blood, it was assumed that the assailant had shot Alex somewhere in the leg, but hadn’t hit a major artery or vein. Luckily, on the kitchen doorway, there was Alex’s bloody partial print, but there blood wasn’t hers. The theory was that before the shooter had incapacitated her, she got a swing or two in, and then when he dragged her out, she made one last attempt to grasp the doorway, leaving the perps blood.
Your heart was pounding in your ears three times as fast as earlier. Tears were pouring down your face and you hadn’t even realized it. Amanda squeezed your hand tighter, as she asked you if it sounded like someone you knew or if it triggered any memories.
“N-no… Mm sorry…” you gasped out in between sobs.
The Southern blonde now came in front of you and took both of your hands.
“Don’t be, you did so good, Y/N.” Amanda comforted you, before receiving a ding on her phone and checking her notifications.
It was Olivia telling Amanda to bring you back. You spent the car ride opposite of the last, filled with all the emotions. You were distraught, and sad, and afraid, and angry, and infuriated, and so much more. Your head was swimming, no drowning it it all. You just wanted a break. You wanted Alex safe in your arms.
Amanda led you back into the squad room, passing you off to Olivia with a reassuring smile. Olivia took you into the family interview room, one that was less jarring than the brick and mortar perp interview/confession rooms. She had you sit on the couch next to her.
“Y/N, Amanda told me that you couldn’t think of anything at the crime scene…”
“Don’t… call it that…” you sputtered, having cried yourself out in the car and now hicupping instead.
Olivia sighed, “Of course, I’m sorry— At your and Alex’s home…”
You had your hands clasped in your lap and you were rocking back and forth anxiously. The brunette detective reached for your hands with her hands and tried to physically comfort you, but you jerked in response, starting to hyperventilate. The brunette detective was quick to retract and stick with her interview questions.
“Besides what you didn’t think of at the crim— your and Alex’s place— Can you think of anyone who would want to hurt you…?” Olivia prodded gently.
You shook your head and then hiccuped. Alex had her hair share of criminals who didn’t like her, but nothing she ever found concerning enough to share with you.
“Alright, what about anyone following you recently…? Notice any reoccurring faces…?” She asked.
You thought about it, going through your last months, if not years in your mind.
“I… don’t think so, no…” you stammered, with two more hiccups.
“Alright… Can I get you some water?”
“Yes please…” you whispered, not being able to handle the eye contact, so you simply shut your eyes.
Olivia muttered something with a hum, letting go of your hands, and leaving the room with the door ajar. You just sat there, with your eyes closed and shaking in your boots. You could hear the noisy clamor of the squad room from the ajar door. It was still just as chaotic, if not more. Tensions were high, and fuses were short.
Before Olivia could come back with your water, a familiar voice boomed while entering the squad room.
“Who the hell didn’t inform me about Alex going missing, and why the fuck did I need to find out like this?!”
You immediately stood up with a jolt, scrambling into the squad room to see Rita standing furiously in the middle of the room, while holding up a manila envelope with her name on it. Calhoun’s determined scowl faltered as she noticed you in the corner. She immediately lowered her mask of defense lawyer and rushed over to you.
Her hands were all of over you, checking to see if you were okay. They landed on each side of your face, as her concerned gaze looked at you.
“Hey Baby… How are you holding up…?” She asked, her eyes still scanning you up and down, before landing on your gaze when she expected an answer.
But all she got was a choked sob from you, your tears now back in full swing. The older woman immediately pulled you in for a hug, which you happily accepted. She hugged you tight and with fierce love, you could feel every fiber of her being that cared through the embrace. When Rita let you go, you wheezed and little and whipped your tears away.
Olivia had by now gotten your water and caught wind of the commotion, now coming up to you and Rita. Rita sent daggers to the brunette detective, making Olivia stop a couple feet away from you.
“What’s in the envelope…?” Olivia quipped, before extending her hand with your water in it.
Rita took the water, examined it, then gave it to you, instructing you to drink, before she considered answering Olivia. When she did, her eyes went sad. The main SVU members had surrounded the two of you, all curious as to what Rita had brought. She opened the envelope and pulled out a hard drive.
“Aha! My area of expertise…!” Munch exclaimed, taking the hard drive from Rita and going over to the media corner to open whatever files were contained within the stick.
You went to follow the rest do the team to see what was on the file, but Rita grabbed you by your arm before you could get too far. You turned back to Rita and looked at the woman who had been your mentor, aunt, mom, practically everything with confusion and glossy eyes.
“ ‘Hun, you may not want to see that…” Rita sighed with deep sadness in her eyes.
She had already seen it.
Your eyes hardened and you frowned. You quickly pulled your hand out of Rita’s grasp.
“Like hell I won’t…” you exclaimed, then turning around and walking up behind the team who were all gathered around Munch who was about to click play on a video file.
Rita came up behind you, her eyes staying on you the entire time as the video played. She watched your face whiten, watched your face wash over in horror, then a wave of anger. She watched your shock, then followed by uncontrollable sadness and tears.
Alex was in the centre of the screen, tied up and hanging by her wrists around a rusty metal bar running along the wall. Her head was hanging low. Her hair frazzled and tired. Her clothing was dirty, torn, and bloody. There was a light sway of her body as it hung from the beam. Her shoes had been discarded. The bottom half of her her stomache was on display, as her shirt was being strained from the position. Her left lower leg was bleeding, presumably from the gunshot from the struggle at the brownstone. Her forehead was all bloody from the blow to the counter.
Suddenly, a person stepped into the frame. They were wearing all black and had their face and voice masked. He had some kind of black colored weapon, almost baton looking in his hand. He laughed wickedly into the camera, before turning his attention to Alex.
“As I can’t torture all of you, unfortunately… One will have to do…” The man tilted his head as he turned on the stick and plunged it against Alex’s exposed side stomache with a cackle.
Alex’s body convulsed and jolted uncontrollably as she was she was hit with volts and volts of burning electricity. She let out a desperate groan, which turned into a silent scream as tears poured down her face, as she fought against her restraints and against the volts. After a couple solid seconds of this, the man finally retracted the insane taser torture. As he moved the torture device back, Alex’s freshly burned skin could be seen, a fresh branded circle on the side of her stomache. The man proceeded to repeat this process for multiple rounds. And the whole time, Alex fought and screamed and convulsed, as tears ran down her face and shirt. Finally, after five burning rounds, Alex passed out. And the man stopped, looking to the camera with a grin.
“No point if the bitch isn’t awake…” He chuckled wickedly, “And that was only Act 1… Dedicated to Detective Olivia Benson…”
Rage was quick to take over your enter being, all the sadness quickly forgotten. You nearly assaulted Olivia right then and there. But Rita saw this coming, and she was quick to hold you back as you attempted to pounce on the brunette detective across from you.
You scowled and fought back, the team all taking a step back from you, all of them just as shocked as you were. But Rita held you firm.
“Shhhh, Baby, it’s okay… Calm down…” Rita cooed into the shell of your ear, “It’s going to be okay, it’s not Olivia’s fault…”
After a couple seconds, Rita managed to get you to promise to not punch the older brunette detective in the face. So she let you go. You huffed and didn’t know what to do. You were hit with another wave of sudden sadness.
As you were having your life crisis, the team began speculating and conversating about what they could learn from the video and how they could find Alex. You weren’t able to focus on them or anything anymore, everything started to just fade away into black.
When you woke up, you were in Rita’s lap, back in the family interview room. For a split second, you felt at peace’s and then reality smacked you back in the face. Rita was beginning to tell you that you had passed out when you began to freak out.
“Hey, Hey. It’s okay, sweetheart. You’re safe, it’s okay.” Rita comforted you, as you sat up startled and distraught.
“N-no it’s n-not… Alex my Lex she’s… she’s…” you choked out, hyperventilating.
Rita was quick to take you into her arms on the couch and comfort you. She ran her fingers through your hair, she rubbed your arms and hands and side, calming you as best as you could.
“Hey. We are going to find this sycko who did this… ok? The team is on it…” Rita insisted and ensured you, “Take some deep breaths for me, Baby…”
You nodded shakily, your entire body shaking in Rita’s arms, as you took some deep breaths. You began to doze off in the woman’s arms, Rita was quick to encourage you to not fight it. And so you dozed off…
You awoke startled once more by a shriek echoing through the squad room and into where you and Rita were. You practically fell off the couch and scrambled out to the squad. Rita was swift behind you. Your eyes fell on Casey, who now had a Manila envelope in her hand with her name on it.
“Where did you get that??” Olivia questioned the redhead.
“I… a junior officer dropped it off… I don’t know, sorry” Casey stammered, handing it off to Olivia who opened it.
“Fin, Amanda, go find that junior officer, maybe he can give us a lead on this guy.” Cragen told his team.
Fin and Amanda nodded and left the room at once. Olivia had found another hard drive, having passed it to Munch to analyze. Rita’s eyes widened as Munch went to press play, and she tried to pull you away once more, but you only pulled away from her and to the screen with more ferocity. With a click from Munch, the video began…
Alex was still in the same position. She was awake again. But barely. Drool was coming from the sides of her mouth as her head lolled down. Her breathing was heavy and labored, affecting her entire body as it hung from the rope attached to her wrists and around the beam.
The man then came back into the camera screen. He held a knife in his hand this time. After taunting the camera, he stalked up to Alex, his free hand roughly grabbing and wrenching her blouse open. The buttons clattered to the floor as the perp moved the torn blouse aside, showing off Alex’s black bra and exposed chest and stomache.
Alex seemed to barely register anything until the knife began slicing her chest. She let out a howl at the pain, deep enough to hurt, but not deep enough to kill. He continued these slices, along her stomache, along her clothed arms as well, and all the way up to her shoulders and neck. He seemed to only be egged on by Alex’s groans and cries, which very quickly turned into begging and pleading for him to stop. Once the man reached her neck, he held the knife firmly along her throat, before speaking. The dozens of cuts all bleed into one another, practically covering Alex’s entire upper body in blood.
“Act 2 is not as bad, because you just sucked at your job…” The man sneered, “But trust me, the next one… I’d be surprised if the bitch doesn’t die… Dedicated to Rita Calhoun.”
Your knees buckled and you collapsed on the floor as Alex let out a particular blood curteling scream in the video. Tears streamed down your face as you couldn’t bring yourself to watch the rest of the video, the audio already taunting you enough. You felt your body go limp and you began to slouch and fall from your knees to the ground completely.
“Turn it off! Off!!” Rita yelled enraged, before dropping to the ground with you and comforting you.
Munch turned the video off, but not before the man was able to dedicate the video to Rita. Rita’s eyes widened and her throat went dry. The whole team stared at the two of you. Rita was dumbfounded at what this had to do with her, but she was quick to spring into action over it.
“Novak. Take Y/N to the diner down the street. She probably hasn’t eaten all day.” Rita commanded the room.
Casey’s eyes widened, and she immediately nodded in understanding.
“Of course, Rita.” Casey said, hurriedly coming over to the two of you.
You tried to protest as Rita handed you over to Casey, but Rita was stern and quickly silenced you, not that you could say anything right now with how overwhelmed you were. Casey was quick to file you out of the room.
You didn’t even remember leaving SVU or getting to the diner, all you remember is suddenly sitting with Casey looking at the late lunch menu. You were shaking and fidgeting like crazy.
Casey reached her hand across the table and squeezed your balled up fist reassuringly. You looked up to the redhead with your stained and now completely dried out eyes, having cried it all out for the second time today.
“Hey. Let’s get you some food, huh…?” Casey hummed.
You nodded slowly. The waitress came, but you couldn’t hear a thing. Casey looked at you with care and understanding, ordering for the both of you. Then once the waitress had left, her attention was on you once more.
“C-Casey…?” You whispered.
Casey leaned in and softly spoke,
“Yes…?”
“How… how are you okay…?” You whispered, a single tear rolling down your cheek as you blinked, “She’s… she’s like your best friend and you hers…”
Casey sighed and squeezed your hand again.
“Y/N, look at me.” Casey hummed, her tone breaking in a falter.
You finally looked at Casey again, and took in her appearance. You suddenly noticed the tear stains on her face and how crazy her long, normally well curled hair was.
“I am not okay. I just… suck at showing my emotions…” Casey explained gently, her own eyes beginning to gloss over as she became more vulnerable.
Your lips pressed together and you smiled lightly, nodding in understanding. You gasped slightly as you felt your phone vibrate once in your pocket. You then felt another vibration. Then one last final third vibrating. You pulled your hands into your lap, away from Casey. The redhead looked at you concerningly.
“Everything okay…?” Casey asked.
“Mm yea… just… need the restroom…” you muttered, before getting out of the diner booth and going to the back where the bathroom was.
Casey nodded, watching you leave, before getting on her phone and updating the team, as well as getting updated by what they had figured out. She let the team know that you were doing okay and that she was about to feed you. She sighed and let out a light groan, trying to process the weight of what was happening, while reading the update from the group chat.
Munch had analyzed the background of the video, having figured out that Alex was being kept in some warehouse. Which one, they had no clue.
Fin and Amanda had gotten no leads from the junior officer, apparently the envelope had been given to him by a homeless looking guy who disappeared as soon as he dropped off the package at the precinct.
Rita, Olivia, and Nick had been spending their time looking over old case files and anything that connected Olivia and Rita along with possibly Alex, in hope to find a perp or bad guy who got away somehow and wanted revenge.
When Casey was done being caught up, the food had come. But you were still in the bathroom… The redhead grew suspicious, getting up from the table and walking to the back of the diner to the bathroom. She knocked on the door, but received no answer. Quickly, she tried your cell. Straight to voicemail.
~~
As you stepped into the bathroom, you couldn’t shake the terrible feeling about the texts, so you locked the door and immediately opened your phone. The texts were all from one unknown number.
Y/N L/N.
Then a video link.
Act 3. Elizabeth Donnelly
You didn’t even click or see the video. Not yet. You saw Liz’s name and couldn’t think of anything else. Liz would know what to do. She always knew what to do.
You carefully escaped from Casey’s gaze and hold out of the back of the diner, rushing to catch a cab to the DA’s office where Liz would most likely be. The ride wasn’t too long, but you still couldn’t bring yourself to press play on that video. Liz would know what to do. She always did.
Once your reached Liz’s office, you didn’t even knock, simply barging in. Liz was talking with a few DA’s, and she was about to dig into whoever interrupted them, but then she saw your state.
“Leave. All of you, now!” Liz ordered, shooing the attorneys away.
You quickly shut and locked the door behind you. Liz looked you up and down.
“Y/N, what is going on…?” The older woman spoke firmly.
You were hyperventilating again. You could sit, you were pacing. But you had to tell her something. And you tried, but you couldn’t bring yourself to explain. Liz stood up, recognizing the signs of an anxiety attack, and coming over to you in concern. She guided you to sit with her on her office couch, asking you again, more softly this time,
“Honey, what’s the matter…?”
You let out a choked sob, bringing out your phone and clicking the video. That was the only thing you could think of. Liz watched your every movement. You pressed play.
Alex was hanging as in the last video, but her blouse was completely gone. Her breathing was shallow and barely there, but she was still alive.
The man showed back up, coming up to the camera to say hello, before quickly turning his attention to Alex once more with the same knife as before in his hands. He grabbed Alex’s chin and pulled her face to meet his gaze. Alex tried to growl and fight back, but the exhaustion on her face was evident. He had probably drugged her up real good so that she didn’t stand a chance… While the man held her face rough with one hand, his other with the knife sliced her bra into pieces. He then let her face go with a smack! before tearing the bra off her body. The vulnerable whimper that Alex let out was distinct. And it only fed into the man’s fantasies. He then bent down to her bottom half and ran the knife down her side, followed by his hands ripping her skirt open. He wrenched that off her as well, throwing it aside. Alex was now left only in her panties. She closed her eyes and went limp, as the man trailed the knife in between her legs and up against her clothed core. He then moved to her thigh and ripped her underwear off with a snap! until she was fully nude, hanging for everyone to see. Another hopeless whimper left Alex as the man suddenly smacked her ass.
Before the video could finish, Liz slammed the phone down onto the ground, effectively pausing it. Your eyes went wide and you looked at the older woman with an open mouth. She looked horrified. But Rage was quick to replace the shock.
“What?! Liz wait—!!” You exclaimed as the blonde stood up and shook her white knuckle fists.
Liz turned back to you, looking you directly in the eyes.
“What in the actual fuck is going on, Y/N?!Why in the hell are you making me watch my daughter be tortured by some psycho???” Liz shrilled.
“Lower your voice!!” You harshly whispered, swiftly standing up and getting in her face, and effectively shutting Liz up for a second with how stern you and suddenly become.
“Then you better goddamn tell me what is going on…” Liz growled.
“OK—” you exclaimed, placing your hand on your forehead and sighing.
You say down again as the overwhelming sadness hit you once more.
“Lex… was taken… didn’t show up in court…” you stammered, “Guy’s been sending… videos…” you choked up.
Liz then picked up the phone from the floor, sitting back down next to you in silence for a moment.
“How many?”
You were jolted out of your grief by her words.
“W-what…?” You stammered.
“How many videos… did he send…?” Liz spoke, trying to sound in control but her own tone faltering and cracking a little.
“This is the third. He usually talks about it in the video…” you said quietly.
This made Liz look at you and then back to the phone. She turned it on and clicked play again. You both sat in anticipation as the video continued.
Alex’s bloody, bruised, and now completely exposed body came back on screen, right where it had left off. Alex flinched as the man smacked her ass a second time.
“Shut up Bitch!! Take it, We all know you want it!!!” The man jeered, before smacking her ass a third time and then grabbing and fondling her tits.
Alex tried to pull away from his touch, she tried to yell or cry or shout, but she found that her body was not taking orders from her mind anymore. Her body had gone limp. But she could feel everything. She could see everything in her line of sight. She could hear everything.
When she went completely silent, unable to protest anymore, the man cackled again, louder and more taunting than ever. He then proceeded to come up to the camera.
“Now, I’m not gonna show you this next bit… I’m going to save that for when you find her dead body… But Act 3 is dedicated to that bitch judge, Elizabeth Donnelly…” the man jeered.
The video then went static for a second. Then the camera came back on and showed an unconscious Alex Cabot, swaying lightly back and forth. Where her body wasn’t sliced and cut, it was bruised. Where her body wasn’t bloody, it was covered in dirt, like it had been thrown at her. The faint and small outlines of cigarette burns were trailed across both of her arms and thighs. Her mouth was filled with an oozing her own blood, as if 100 fists had hit her. And her right tit was branded with a symbol, difficult to make out. All of this and so much worse would be discovered had been done to her…
The video ended and silence took the room. Suddenly you heard crying. You looked over and Liz was hunched over and crying in her lap. You weren’t sure what to do, haven’t ever seen the powerful, older woman so vulnerable before. You just instinctively wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close.
“I… I’m sorry. I didn’t… didn’t know what to do… I thought if I came to you…” you rambled, now feeling guilty for having brought this to Liz.
“Hush… none of that… ssnot your fault.” Liz breathed out in sniffles, accepting your embrace and pressing into you even more, “I know she’s not… my real daughter but if anything happens to her… I… I don’t know what I’d do…”
You two sobbed in each other’s arms for a while. It was only when someone came banging on Liz’s office door with no sudden warning that the two of you jumped apart and off the couch. You went to unlock the door and storming in came a furious Rita.
Rita wouldn’t even hear it from you. She took your phone immediately. All the way back to the squad room, the car was silent between the three of you.
Casey had figured out that you had run away, and she had immediately called SVU. They had divided and conquered all the places they thought you’d go. And the second Liz wasn’t answering her own phone, Casey knew that was where you had gone.
Back in the squad room, Munch began analyzing your phone. You sat in one of the detectives chairs, fidgeting and bouncing your leg, under Rita’s intense gaze. She had made you tell the team everything that had happened. She was not going to let you slip away again. Over her dead body.
Liz immediately threw a fit and started ordering people around. After looking at the files that Olivia and Amara had compiled, it took her five minutes to put it together. Liz found a perp who had escaped jail, whom Olivia had interrogated, Rita had represented and lost, She had judged, and Alex had prosecuted and won.
The second the team had their perp, they began canvassing possible areas. The man leased a piece of warehouse property near the river as it was discovered, so that’s where everyone rushed to go to.
Everyone was on edge.
“I’m gonna go!” You exclaimed to Rita.
“No you are not!!” She shrieked back.
“Why not?!! She’s the love of my life!!!” You yelled, tears running down your face as you screamed.
“Because she might be dead, Y/N!!!!”
Practically the entire squad room went silent at this. They all stared at you and Rita. But quickly, they all began their work again, and the team ran out to the location to find Alex. Both Rita and Liz held you back as you fought to get outside and in a squad car. But they held the upper hand. You collapsed in both of their arms, desperate and exhausted, completely out of energy.
~~
The team did indeed find Alex, although she was barely breathing. They immediately sent her to Mercy’s, where Rita and Liz already had you there waiting. You sat in the waiting room, in between the two woman, shaking and fidgeting restlessly.
Hours went by with no update. Eventually, it was all too much for you. You leaned against Rita’s shoulder for some comfort and before you could stop yourself, you were falling asleep.
~~
“Y/N, love, wake up…” Liz gently woke you, making you snort lightly as you came back to reality.
She was offering you a hand, which you eagerly took to stand up. The nurse came up to you.
“You may see her now. One at a time please.” The nurse told the group of you.
Everyone looked at you and pretty much all agreed in unison and with mere looks that you would be the person going in to see her first.
You entered the hospital room, and immediately came up to Alex’s bedside. You felt relief wash over you that she was here with you and that she was okay. You held one of her hands as she came to.
“Mmm heyyyy…” Alex said in an extremely scratchy and hoarse voice, her head turning slowly towards you.
Tears of joy began to spill out and down your cheeks. You squeezed your wife’s hand lovingly.
“Hi Lex…” you whispered, “How are you feeling…?”
“Like someone pumped an entire pharmacy through me…” Alex groaned lightly, “mm pretty sure I was drugged… most of the time I couldn’t move or speak…” her tone got sad and overwhelmed, as tears started to form on her sapphire eyes.
“Hey hey, it’s okay.” You comforted Alex, who met your gaze again, smiling at the sight of you, “You’re safe with me now, that’s all that matters…”
Alex lightly squeezed your hand now as she smiled. It would be a long road to recovery, but the important thing is that you would be with her every step of the way.
Her squeeze on your hand faded, which you just attributed to the blonde being tired. But then her eyes closed… and then you couldn’t hear her breathing. You jolted when the heart rate monitor started going off.
Suddenly, there were 4-5 hospital staff members in the room, pushing you aside. You stood in the corner of the room, with your hands over your mouth, silent tears flooding down your face. You heard the designated coding sound come from the machine, and you collapsed onto the floor. Everything went numb.
You could vaguely hear a nurse giving you her condolences. You didn’t even reliaze that you were walking out of the room until you stood in front of the group that loved Alex the most. You were violently shaking, you felt like you couldn’t breathe.
Liz was the first own to come up to you, to see what was wrong. And Liz was the first one to understand… You fell to your knees and cried into your hands, not caring anymore. You’d lost the love of your life, your wife, your everything.
Liz looked more emotional and out of control than she’d ever been. She kept stammering that it couldn’t be true, but once a doctor came out and told the entire group the news, Liz let out a distraught wail, covering her face in her hands as she sobbed. Casey immediately buried herself in Liz’s embrace which Liz of course accepted. The last thing you remember about that day was Rita coming up to you and embracing you on the floor…

The sun was slowly dipping towards the horizon as Addison made her way to your house. She had not seen her best friend in a week, and that made her spontaneously stop by to check on you, her concern growing with each passing day without contact. The redhead knew you had been under a lot of stress lately, often withdrawn and thoughtful and she just wanted to make sure you were okay.
When she reached your well-kept house, she rang the doorbell and waited patiently. But even after the second ring and subsequent knock, she did not hear any footsteps or a key being inserted into the lock to open the door. It was quiet. Too quiet for her liking.
A little uneasy, she stumbled down the terrace and shuffled around the house, hoping that she would find you there. When the certified gynecologist entered your garden and walked towards the terrace, she could already see you from afar. You sat on one of the lawn chairs, staring at the ground.
Your hair, which had once been so soft and shiny, seemed dull and unkempt. They lay disheveled on your head like a bird's nest. She could clearly see that you did not look well - your eyes were puffy, with deep circles under your eyes while your skin had taken on a pale tone. You seemed absent, not even noticing her, your vision was clouded and your eyes had a shadow that the redhead had never seen in you before.
“Y/n?” Addison called out quietly so as not to scare you. Still, you jumped and turned your head to look at her, nervously tugging at the sleeves of your sweater. Your eyes seemed empty but you still tried to force a smile at her. "Addy. What are you doing here?"
Addison Montgomery walked closer to you, sat down on one of the comfortable lawn chairs and placed her bag in her lap. "I am worried about you, sweetie. You do not look well. How are you?" she asked carefully, reaching out her hand. She carefully took your cold fingers and intertwined them with hers, the redheads thumbs twirling tender circles over the pale skin.
The gynecologist felt her heart beat faster as she looked at you and was met with total physical coldness. You sighed deeply and looked past her into the distance to avoid her gaze. She noticed that you were acting strangely, you were usually like an open book to her, but now you seemed to be hiding something. "I am fine."
With a short tug, you pulled your hand away from her and for a brief moment your sleeve, which you had previously placed above your upper knuckles, slipped up. Fine red lines decorated your wrist and Addison swallowed hard. Her heart sank when she realized what was going on and how bad you were feeling. Some of them were still quite fresh while others had already turned a purple color and were trying to close up in order to heal.
With shaking hands, she grasped your hand again, pulled it towards her and stared at it for a moment before gently pulling the material up and seeing the full extent of your feelings. She stared at you, stunned. She could not believe what she was seeing. "Oh darling.. You could have spoken to me. I am here to listen to you and help you when you need me."
You finally let the tears you had held back for weeks flow and let out all the emotions you had suppressed for so long. "Your job is so stressful and your relationship with Derek is at a dead end. I did not want to be an unnecessary burden on you." you whispered and Addison immediately jumped up from her seat and hugged you tightly as she rocked you back and forth.
"I am here for you. We will get through this together," she whispered soothingly and you sniffled loudly, trying to calm yourself down. She sensed the eerie tension in the air, but still encouraged you to continue. You hesitated for a moment before you continued speaking with a hiccup between each word, all your worries and fears flowing out of your system. "I feel like I have lost myself."
Addy smiled softly and stroked your hair lightly, listening to you carefully and reassuring you that she would stand by you. She struggled for the right words when she saw how fragile and vulnerable you seemed and was afraid of saying the wrong thing. "You are not lost. You just went astray and we will find the right path again. We will find a way to deal with this."
You nodded, your tears not stopping falling. You sat in silence on the terrace for a while, holding each other in your arms and feeling your friendship grow even stronger. The evening sun bathed the place in warm light and painted a sad picture on the white wall of the house. "Thank you, Addy."
Addison knew it would be a long journey to bring you out of your darkness, but she was determined to be there for you and support you through this difficult time. She had discovered that her best friend had been in a moment of despair, and she knew that together you could overcome any challenge because your friendship was strong enough to overcome anything while finding your way back to the light together.
This was just the beginning of a long and painful process, but together you were able to overcome it. Albeit with a lot of time.

Possessive little me.
Pairings: Casey Novak x Alex Cabot.
Warning: SMUT.
Summary: Alexandra Cabot was never one to be jealous of anything, she had never considered herself as a jealous person; that wasn’t until she met Casey Novak.
A/n: *cough* So. Um. I don't really know what to say about this one shot. First of all, I gotta thank @saurgaeee for the idea, of course, cause bestie here is the one that gives me the ideas, and we had really good ideas about this one. But...let's say that what started being wholesome or a bit teasing...ended up in smut😬 So. There is smut here, and please, PLEASE, bear with me because I have not written any smut in YEARS and this is the first time I actually get myself to write slight smut. So please be kind cause I'm nervous about this one🥴 Also, this is basically between s5-s6, so we’ll just pretend Alex never left and they work together🫶🏻 Don't be afraid to send me an ask or message if you got any requests, I'm up for anything for now. Enjoy and leave your comments, reblog, hearts, whatever you'd like, will be very much appreciated🫶🏻

Casey Novak had always been known for being persistent in what she wanted and also she didn’t let anyone play her; this applied to anyone, including coworkers and even the judges. So when she was literally defied by Taft, she couldn’t hold back and leave it there. She had been annoyed with the fact that no one was actually having her back in this when it was evident that he didn’t deserve to continue in this job, even Mary Clark had told her to back away and continue as if nothing had happened and that had pissed the redhead off. But, at least she knew -or thought- that her girlfriend would have her back, she would push Casey to do more and go for his head. She didn’t expect any help, but the least she expected had been some support, so the fact that even Alexandra Cabot had agree with Mary, Casey was more than pissed.
“Casey, there is no point in you risking your career with this. He’s not worth it.” Alex said calmly as she watched her girlfriend pacing around the room.
“Oh, so, to protect my job, I need to let a judge do whatever the fuck he wants and keep destroying what he wants just because he thinks it’s better, completely ignoring the evidence or whatever we have to say. He just follows his beliefs.” Casey stopped and looked at Alex. “Alex, Rosalin was in prison, ten years of wrongful imprisonment. You’re really not trying to stop me from going after him.” She looked at her with hope in her eyes, just wanting to hear that her girlfriend had her back.
Alex sighed as she stood up from the couch and walked to Casey, grabbing her hands, and kissing them. “Baby…as much as I’d love for him to rot for what he’s done to that woman. But we know that you would be on thin ice if you try to go after him. You cannot risk your job for this, Casey.”
Casey shook her head as she looked at Alex, trying to hold back tears. “I told Elliot this, and I am gonna tell you too…if this is justice…I don’t want this career. And you should know better than anyone. I at least thought you’d have my back.”
Alex tilted her head. “Case, I do have your back. I’ll always be here to help and support you, but-“
“I don’t want you to help me, Alex. I’m not asking you to sit with me while I go after him. All I wanted was to hear you say that you support me and that I got this.” Casey sighed. “But you know that you’re not gonna stop me from doing this.”
Alex nodded softly as she looked down at their hands. “I know.” She whispered as she looked back at Casey. “Please, think this through, Case.”
“I have. And I’m going after Taft.” Casey let go of Alex’s hands and walked out of the living room. She didn’t need anyone to tell her that she could do this, she’d do it herself and she’d do anything to have his head.
********************
Alex sighed as she looked at her watch again and noticed that it was late, Casey had called her 4 hrs ago to let her know she’d stop by her office after she was done in court, but she should’ve been done by now. So many thoughts ran through her mind as she kept looking at her door. She had told Casey that she’d be staying until late because she didn’t want to take work to the house, and she expected Casey to show up there, but it was now too late for Casey to not be there yet. She finally gave up and picked up her office phone to call Casey, but just as she was about to call, she noticed someone walking to her office, furrowing her brows as she saw blonde hair, but no one was supposed to be here anymore. And then her door opened, and her jaw dropped as she stared into her girlfriend’s green eyes.
“C-Casey?”
Casey grinned. “Hey, Lex.” She walked into the office and closed the door, walking to Alex’s desk and putting her briefcase in one of the chairs and going to lean on Alex’s desk, looking down at her. “So, what do you think?” She smirked.
“I- uh. Um- what…why-“ Alex cleared her throat as she pushed her chair back to have a better look of Casey. “Y-You’re…blonde.”
“I am.” Casey smirked as she looked down at her hands. “I was honestly a bit upset about the other day and I was a bit stressed. Thought a change would help.” She looked back at Alex as she raised her brow. “I know you loved my red hair but-“
“You look stunning.” Alex snapped as she looked into Casey’s eyes.
Casey frowned. “You…like it?”
Alex raised her brows in surprise. “Like it?” She huffed a chuckle as she stood up from her chair, her hand going to Casey’s waist and the other to Casey’s hair, running her fingers through it. “Baby, you look amazing. I love it. It’s very different but-“ She sighed. “You look hot.” She smirked.
Casey cleared her throat as she raised her brow. “Really now?”
Alex chuckled darkly. “You thought I’d be mad?” Her hand traveled down from Casey’s neck to her chest and landed on her waist, pushing Casey up so she was sitting on the desk.
Casey gulped as she looked at Alex, trying to play it cool. “Maybe.”
Alex chuckled again as she kissed her cheek. “How did it go?”
“He has been reassigned to Civil Court. He’s gonna be investigated to determine whether or not he made biased decisions on other cases.” Casey grinned.
“I’m proud of you.” Alex grinned as she kissed her nose. “I’m sorry if I didn’t support you. It was wrong of me. I was just afraid you’d be at risk of losing your job.”
Casey nodded. “I get it, but next time…please just support me.”
Alex smiled. “Let’s hope that there won’t be a next time. But…if there is, I will support you, fully.” She leaned in and kissed her lips softly. “So.” She grinned, “You really dyed your hair because you were upset at me, and you thought I’d hate it?”
Casey rolled her eyes playfully as she wrapped her arms around Alex’s neck. “I also needed a change but…maybe.” She shrugged. “I was upset.”
“Well, Ms. Novak.” Alex left a trail of kissed from her jawline to her neck. “I think you look stunning.” She whispered against her neck and nibbled her sweet spot.
“Alex.” Casey breathed out as she tilted her head to give Alex more access.
“Yes?” Alex whispered as she licked the part she had just bit.
“We’re in your office.” Casey bit her lip as Alex pulled away enough to look at her.
Alex placed her hand on Casey’s chin and let her thumb run over Casey’s lower lip, leaning down to kiss her lips, and let her tongue swipe across Casey’s lower lip, biting it softly right after. “Have I told you that I love when you bite your lip?” She said against her lips as she smirked.
“Once or twice.” Casey grinned as she pulled Alex for another kiss. “If you’re gonna fuck me, you better do it.”
Alex raised her brow playfully, smirking. “Maybe we should go home, would be more comfortable and I can actually hear you scream my name.” She kissed the tip of her nose as she pulled away, putting all of her files in a pile.
Casey groaned as she rolled her eyes, hopping off the desk and fixing her clothes. “You’re a tease.”
“You love me.” Alex grinned as she looked back at Casey. “Plus, you’ll get what you want once we’re home.” She pecked her lips and then grabbed her briefcase. “C’mon.”
********************
Alexandra Cabot was never one to be jealous of anything, she was an only child, so she always had everything that she wanted. When it came to partners, she always trusted them or just chose to ignore whatever they were doing and then simply get out of the relationship, but she had never considered herself as a jealous person; that wasn’t until she met Casey. They had met thanks to Elizabeth Donnelly and Branch, they happened to be at the same event and Liz had introduced them. Casey had never been to those events, it was her very first time and Alex had been her second or third time. Alex had showed Casey around and had made it easier for her to want to be there, and as they talked, they figured that they were attracted to each other, and Alex had been the one who had asked Casey on a date.
After that date, Alex knew that she definitely didn’t see herself with anyone else but Casey, and she didn’t want Casey to be with anyone else, so she made it her mission to make Casey Novak fall in love with her. Which had not been hard at all, or she had to work hard because Casey loved every moment she spent with Alex, she didn’t want to spend a day without seeing her or being with her, so for both of them, it was easy to fall in love and they couldn’t have it any other way. And that’s when Alex figured out that she was indeed a jealous person -but she was not about to admit it-. Casey hadn’t even noticed, always being oblivious, but in one of their nights out, some guys had tried to get her attention by complimenting her outfit and her hair, and that made Alex’s blood boil, walking back to Casey and wrapping her arm around her possessively, kissing her bare shoulder and then looking at the boys with a smirk on her face. She didn’t think it was possible for people to disappear so fast, but she had just witnessed it when the boys literally ran away. Casey only turned to wrap her arms around her and kiss her, acting as if nothing had happened.
The second time that it happened, it had been in the office. Some interns had been around the office trying to get to know the place, and it so happened that they ran into Casey when she was heading to Alex’s office. Alex hadn’t noticed at first since she was in a call, but once she finished it, she looked up to find Casey talking to them, and she could see the interns eyes looking up and down at Casey, and once again, Alex felt her blood boil at the scene. She didn’t think twice, and she stood up, making her way to them, opening the door a little too fast and soon enough getting to where they were standing, rapidly getting the interns’ attention on her as they looked at her with wide eyes. She was 100% sure that they had already heard about Alex being the Ice Queen, and she didn’t care one bit about it.
“Hello.” Alex wrapped her arm around Casey’s waist, pulling her against her body and turning to look at her to offer a smile before her eyes went back to the interns.
“I was about to go to your office! You forgot your glasses on mine.” Casey smiled softly as she placed the glasses on Alex, putting a strand of blonde hair behind her ear.
Alex turned to look at Casey and grinned. “Thanks, babygirl.” She looked back at the inters and raised her brows, a smirk on her lips. “Don’t you guys have somewhere to be?” Soon enough, the guys were gone, leaving Alex with a triumphant smirk on her face. She then turned to look at Casey and kissed her lips. “Should we go for lunch?”
Casey nodded. “Sure.” She then squinted her eyes and grinned. “Why you have that smirk on your face?”
Alex shrugged. “Oh, no reason.” She smiled. “Where would my baby like to go?” She grabbed Casey’s hand and pulled her into her office.
********************
Alex was playing with her glasses as her eyes focused on Cragen’s office, Casey was inside with Huang, Olivia, Cragen, and Elliot as they watched Fin and Munch interrogate a suspect. Casey told Alex that she’d stay longer than expected with the squad so Alex decided it would be a good idea to just wait for her until she was done, after all she had already finished her work and they could go back home together. She knew both had been pretty stressed since the week had been full of arraignments, trials, paperwork, etc., so the only thing that Alex really wanted was to get home, have some dinner, take a bath with her girlfriend, and then go to sleep. Her mind had been stuck all day with the thought of Casey giving her one of those massages that she so loved, she hated massages, but Casey’s hands were heaven against her skin. Olivia then walked out of the office and noticed Alex, who got out of her trance once she heard Olivia calling her name, putting her glasses down on the desk she was leaning on.
“Hey! Waiting for Casey?” Olivia smiled.
“Yeah, I finished with my own work, so thought I could wait for her here.” Alex smiled.
Olivia nodded as she leaned over the desk beside Alex, looking at Cragen’s office too and noticing Casey. “So, now she’s a blonde, huh?” She smiled.
“She is, she looks like a real life Barbie.” Alex grinned, eyeing Casey intently.
Olivia nodded as she grinned. “She looks really good, fits her well, actually.”
Alex looked at Olivia and raised her brow. “She does.” Before she could say anything else, Elliot appeared in front of them and started talking about the case, Alex moving away from the desk and walking behind Elliot and Olivia as she heard about the case.
“I’ll check if I can get us a warrant but, I’m telling you, this is not looking good, and I don’t thin the judge will buy it.” Casey spoke as she walked with Cragen to where Olivia, Elliot and Alex were, turning then to look at Alex and smiling softly. “Hey you.”
Alex smiled. “Hey.”
Casey kissed her cheek softly and smiled. “Let me get my stuff and then we leave.” She went to Fin’s desk to grab her coat and her briefcase.
“You better watch out for Perez, cause she has been eyeing you this whole time, Novak.” Fin laughed as he looked at Alex and Casey, making Alex look back at Fin, frowning.
“Who?” Alex snapped.
“New officer, since Novak got here, he’s been standing like a dumbass in there.” Fin pointed to a brunette officer that was talking to another officer and every now and then looking on Casey’s direction.
Casey rolled her eyes. “He can look all he wants. I don’t really care.” She shrugged as she looked at Fin.
Alex sighed as she looked back at Casey. “Hey baby, we should go.” She looked back at Elliot’s desk and grinned softly, walking away, and waiting at the entrance, standing a bit closer to where the officers were.
Casey said her goodbyes and as she was about to walk to Alex, she huffed a chuckled and grabbed Alex’s glasses from Elliot’s desk, putting them up to show Alex and grinned. “You always forget them, baby.” She chuckled as she put the glasses on Alex and kissed her nose. “Now we’re good to go.”
Alex tried not to blush as Casey kissed her nose and called her baby, cleared her throat and grabbing Casey’s hand, pulling her so they could leave. It was no secret that Casey had a very soft spot for Alex, and she didn’t care showing it in front of everyone, but Alex, had always been reserved, except when it came to Casey. She called her pet names, she wrapped her arm around her, kissed her cheek, etc. But hearing Casey calling her names and Alex blushing? That was definitely something they didn’t see every day, so when they looked at both of them and noticed Alex’s face, they all couldn’t help but laugh a little, making comments and jokes knowing that if they made them in front of Alex, they’d have to prepare for their deaths.
********************
Casey sighed softly as she walked into the precinct, smiling as she noticed Olivia and Elliot. “We got him.”
Elliot sighed. “Well now that’s good news.”
“Congrats, counselor.” Olivia smiled as she patted Casey’s back.
“Thanks.” Casey frowned as she looked at Elliot. “Did you get bad news?”
“Fin called, he’s in the Peralta trial. They’re giving Alex a hard time.”
Casey sighed softly as she nodded. “Yeah, she’s been stressed about it lately.”
“Maybe that’s not the only reason she’s stressed.” Olivia raised her brow as she sat on her chair, looking at Casey.
Casey looked at Olivia and raised her brow. “What you mean? Something else happened?”
Olivia chuckled. “C’mon, Casey, you really haven’t noticed?”
“Noticed what? Am I missing something here?” Casey looked at Elliot and back at Olivia.
“Men have been giving your girlfriend a hard time. Literally anyone that stares at you or even dares smile at you, is giving your girlfriend a hard time.” Olivia chuckled softly.
Casey huffed a chuckle and shook her head. “That’s not true. Alex is not a jealous person.”
Elliot laughed as he leaned over Munch’s desk, crossing his arms as he looked at Casey. “I never thought you were an oblivious person, Case.”
“Did you not notice last time when Perez was devouring you with his stare? Alex got upset, she wrapped her arm around you and kissed you right in front of his face.”
Casey shrugged. “That’s something Alex always does. I mean, sure, she does it more than she usually does but that’s because she’s becoming comfortable with us being public.” She shook her head as she frowned. “Guys, you’re looking really into this. Alex is not a jealous person.”
“I’d say possessive.” Elliot shrugged. Olivia chuckled softly.
Casey rolled her eyes. “Right. You don’t know Alex like I do, behind all that ‘ice queen’ persona, she’s actually a really sweet and loving person. She’s cute. I don’t think she’s possessive nor jealous.”
“Whatever you say, Novak.” Olivia shrugged as she grinned, standing up again to grab her things. “Let’s go for some drinks and we’ll call the rest from there.”
“No need. We’re back.” Munch sighed as he walked with Fin.
“That bad?” Elliot frowned.
“Don’t even mention it to Cabot.” Fin murmured as he shook his head. “We’re not done yet but, it doesn’t seem that good. Recess until tomorrow afternoon.”
Olivia sighed as she looked at Casey. “Think your girlfriend will need a drink.”
Casey nodded as she looked back and noticed Alex walking to them, a serious look on her face. “Guys, why don’t you go ahead, and we meet you there?” Everyone agreed and grabbed their stuff, leaving both women alone. Casey offered a small smile and stood in front of Alex. “Hi.”
“Hi.” Alex sighed as she looked at Casey, offering a small smile. “I don’t know what’s going on.”
Casey kissed her forehead softly. “Let’s forget about it tonight. Let’s go for some drinks and we can go over your notes in the morning, yes?” She offered a small smile. “Or we can go home, I’ll do what you tell me.”
Alex smiled softly as she pecked her lips. “You’re amazing, you know that?”
Casey shrugged. “I definitely am.” She smiled. “So? What does my baby want?” She grinned.
Alex blushed slightly at her words, rolling her eyes playfully. She had always found it cringe whenever they called her baby, but Casey? She loved it. “Let’s go for some drinks.”
“Then we go.” Casey grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it. “C’mon. Drinks are on me.”
“Oh, so charming.” Alex chuckled softly.
Once at the bar, they all started randomly talking about stories of other cases they’ve done, funny stories, etc. Alex still felt a bit stressed about the whole thing but seeing her girlfriend laughing with the squad and telling her own stories, make her smile and even laugh a little. She knew everything she needed was to be with Casey and things would eventually get at least a little better, and she would be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy hanging out with the squad, they were her second family and even if they got under her nerves, they also got the best of her and relaxed Alex; she loved them, and that was everything she needed.
Eventually, after some drinks, Alex had also joined in with her own stories, earning hysterical laughs from everyone, they had gotten to the point where they were all a bit tipsy and whatever worry they had, it was entirely gone now. Casey noticed their drinks were now gone and she offered to pay for the next round, kissing Alex’s cheek and going to the bar and ordering a new round of drinks, leaning over the bar to wait for them. Alex was in conversation with Olivia and Elliot, but then she turned to look at her girlfriend and make sure she was alright or if she needed any help with the drinks, and that was enough to help her sober up a bit, feeling her blood boiling once again. She hated the fact that she was getting so used to feeling like this. It so happened that Trevor Langan had decided to go to the same bar as them and was now leaning over the bar talking to Casey. Alex took a deep breath as she finished her drink and tried to look away, knowing that Casey could handle it, she knew Casey didn’t like him, more so when she found out that he had tried to invite Alex out. But she couldn’t help but look back at them, wanting to wipe Langan’s smirk off his face.
“Hey, Fin, you think you can help with the drinks?” Alex turned to look at him with a smile on her face, standing up to walk to the bar followed by Fin.
Olivia turned in their direction and grinned. “Oh, I definitely wanna see this.”
Alex stood beside Casey and wrapped her arm around her waist, looking at Langan. “Langan. Long time no see.” She grinned.
“Alexandra Cabot. Likewise.” Trevor smiled. “I was just telling Casey that blonde really fits her well, didn’t really recognize her.” He looked at Casey and grinned.
“I’m outta here.” Fin whispered as he grabbed the drinks and went back to the table with the squad.
Casey rolled her eyes as she looked at Alex. “And I was telling him to back away, but he thinks he can get a date with me.” She looked back at him and raised her brow.
“Oh, you got no chance, bud. Haven’t you heard? Casey’s taken.” Alex grinned.
“Ah, c’mon, Alex. A date won’t hurt anyone.” Trevor shrugged. “If you want, you can join, I’m sure you regretted saying no to me now that I’m inviting Casey out.” He looked Casey up and down before he returned his eyes to Alex.
“Actually, Trevor. I am also taken. If you cannot put the puzzles together, I’ll help you out a bit. Casey is my girlfriend. So, I’d really appreciate it if you went back from where you came from.” Alex smirked as she tried to stay as calm as possible.
Trevor cleared his throat. “Oh. I didn’t know that. I’m- sorry. Have a nice night.” He smiled before he grabbed his drink and went back to his table.
Casey laughed softly as she turned to look at Alex. “I can’t believe he’s still trying. It’s like he wants to get with every-“
“Can you come to the bathroom with me?” Alex grabbed Casey’s hand and didn’t wait for an answer, pulling her with her and going to the bathroom, completely ignoring the looks from the squad.
Casey frowned once they were inside, turning to look at Alex who checked there was no one in the bathroom as she locked the door. “Alex?”
Alex turned to look at Casey and pushed her against the cold wall, crashing her lips against Casey’s in a searing but passionate kiss, making Casey gasp but reacted once Alex’s hands went to her waist to pull her impossibly closer to her. Casey wrapped her arms around Alex and deepened the kiss, moaning softly, giving Alex access to let her tongue explore Casey’s mouth, tasting the alcohol and the sweetness of Casey’s taste. They parted to catch their breathe but Alex left a trail of soft kisses from her cheek to her earlobe, nibbling it slightly and then down to the junction of her neck, making Casey buck her hips against Alex’s front and her hands burying in Alex’s hair. Alex proceeded to bite and suck on Casey’s sweet spot, earning another moan from Casey, making her smirk against her skin as she licked the bite. When she noticed Casey was almost trembling against her, she pulled away panting as she looked at Casey, getting some of Casey’s hair out of her face and kissing her forehead softly.
“W-What was that for?” Casey breathed out as she looked into blue eyes.
Alex chuckled darkly as she smirked. “I’ve been wanting to do that for a while now.”
Casey squinted her eyes as she grinned. “Right. So…it has nothing to do with Langan.” Biting her lip softly as she looked at Alex.
Alex leaned in again to kiss her, sucking on her bottom lip, and biting it softly. “I don’t know what you talking about.” Alex whispered softly as she let go of Casey’s waist, smirking and going to check herself in the mirror, fixing her hair.
Casey took a deep breath and finally moved to go to the mirror. She frowned as she looked at herself and gasped. “Alex! I don’t have any makeup to cover this up!”
Alex smirked as she looked at Casey. “Oh, I didn’t think it’d show up.” She winked at Casey before she walked to the door and unlocked it, walking out of the bathroom and leaving Casey behind.
Casey looked back in the mirror and huffed a laugh. “Possessive. Sounds about right.” She shook her head before she fixed her hair and tried to bottom up her shirt all the way to the top.
********************
Alex groaned as she dropped her briefcase on her desk and sat on her chair, running her hands through her hair as she leaned back into the chair. Weeks of working on this case for the asshole to get away with it for one simple mistake that wasn’t even the detectives or Alex’s fault. All those stressful days and nights working on this case for nothing, for them to break him free and no way to retrial. She felt the stress finally catching up and taking over her body as she tried to stretched but she felt nothing but pain and tension. She closed her eyes for a moment not sure of what she was supposed to do next. She could stay and try to figure out if she could retry this case or she could simply go home and accept her defeat, but both options honestly felt useless and wrong. She opened her eyes as she heard her door closing, looking up and seeing her girlfriend walking towards her, a sympathetic smile on her face.
“Hey.” Casey smiled as she pulled a chair and brought it to Alex’s side, sitting down and turning Alex’s chair so she was facing her. “You okay?”
Alex sighed softly. “Who called you?”
“Fin.” Casey shrugged. “He said he saw you really upset, wanted to make sure you were okay.”
Alex nodded. “I am okay. I just…really wish they could’ve put all evidence and the victims first. They let him walk and I don’t think I can do it again.”
Casey nodded as she grabbed Alex’s hand and kissed it softly. “We can talk to Liz, she can tell us what we can do, and I’ll be here to help.”
Alex smiled as she looked at Casey. “I know you will.” She sighed. “I think we can try again. We can go to Liz and ask for advice.”
“But don’t beat yourself up if Liz says you cannot do it again.” Casey grinned. “Then you and I can work on it.”
Alex huffed a chuckle. “Of course you’d offer that.”
“You know I can do it.” Casey grinned and leaned in to kiss Alex’s cheek. “Anything else in that pretty head of yours?”
Alex shrugged as she sighed, looking away. “I don’t think so.”
Casey raised her brow as she tilted her head. “You know, one of the interns went to my office today.”
Alex snapped her head up and looked at Casey. “What?”
“Yeah, he introduced himself since he didn’t have the chance last time I saw them. Said he had heard about me, and he was pretty interested in my way of working. Said he’d love to learn my techniques.” Casey smiled.
Alex nodded as she wetted her lips. “By that, he means, get in bed with you or work stuff?” She raised her brow.
Casey chuckled softly as she shook her head. “You’re a jealous person.”
Alex frowned. “Am not.”
“Baby, you literally just asked if he wants to get in bed with me or he was talking about work.” Casey raised her brow. “Last week at the bar, you took me to the bathroom and made sure to mark me, so everyone could see that I’m yours.” She grinned. “Not only do you get jealous, but you get possessive over me.”
Alex’s heart stopped at Casey’s words, clearing her throat as she shrugged. “I uh…I’m sorry I- I don’t know why I get like this, I just-“
“I kinda dig it.” Casey smirked.
Alex raised her brow. “You do?”
“Alexandra, you should know better than to get jealous of some random people. When you know that I’m yours.” Casey said as she stood up, sitting on Alex’s lap and wrapping her arms around Alex’s neck.
Alex’s breath hitched as she looked up at Casey. “I guess I was just afraid that you noticed that I was nothing special.”
“You’re wrong in that. Because you’re everything I ever wanted and more. You are something special, Alexandra Cabot. There is no denial of that.” Casey smiled as she leaned down to kiss her lips softly. “Do you think I also don’t get jealous whenever someone looks at you? But…I like to think that you really don’t have eyes for anyone else but me.” She grinned. “A bit cocky, but…am I wrong?” She asked against her lips, kissing her again.
Alex shook her head, pulling away enough to answer. “Not at all.”
Casey nodded, kissing her forehead softly. “Thought so.” She smiled. “Now, why don’t you let me help you relax? Get some stress off.”
Alex frowned again as she looked at Casey. “What are you talking about?”
Casey nibbled on her bottom lip as she moved to kneel down in front of Alex, getting under her desk and moving Alex’s chair again to have her in front of her. Alex’s breath hitched again as she felt Casey’s cold hands going under her skirt and moving it up enough for her to be able to pull her underwear down. Alex’s eyes filled with lust as she stared into green eyes, her eyes too full of lust.
“Casey…” Alex breathed out as Casey pulled down her underwear.
“Just relax, baby. And let me do my part.” Casey wetted her lips as she parted Alex’s legs.
Alex gasped softly and threw her head back as she felt Casey’s tongue licking all the way up from bottom to her clit, making Alex’s hips thrust against her and her hands burying in her hair, pulling her closer to her. Alex couldn’t help but moan louder than she wanted as Casey worked her way in her heat, pausing every now and then to bite her thighs and then diving back, licking and sucking. Her eyes closed for a moment as she threw her head back, Casey’s name leaving her mouth in small whimpers. But as she looked back up to look at Casey, she noticed a shadow walking in front of her windows, cursing under her breath and pulling softly on Casey’s hair, but Casey had other plans.
“Casey!” Alex whispered/yelled.
“Hey Alex.” Olivia said as she opened the door.
“H-Hi! Hey.” Alex tried to clear her throat as she looked at Olivia, offering a smile.
“Sorry, I just wanted to come check on you. Fin and Munch told us what happened back there.” Olivia said as she leaned over the door frame and crossed her arms.
“Oh, yeah. Uh…I mean…we did what we could and-“ she took a deep breath as she felt Casey’s fingers going inside her. “I-I think we tried everything we could.” She cleared her throat again. Pulling Casey’s hair to get her away but Casey sucked on her clit and pumped harder.
Olivia frowned but nodded. “ We did, and if you need any help, you know we’ll help you out.”
Alex nodded rapidly. “I know. Thanks.”
Olivia frowned again. “Are you feeling okay, Alex? You…seem weird.”
Alex sighed as she tried to hide the moan that wanted to leave her mouth. “Stress…getting to me. I uh…I think I’m getting a bit…a bit sick.”
“Do you want me to call Casey? Or I can take you home if you need to.”
“No! No, Casey-“ Alex gulped as she bit her lip. “Casey said she’d come. Any time soon now.”
Olivia nodded. “Alright then, I’ll leave you do your stuff.” She smiled softly. “Call if you need us.” She offered a final smile before she closed the door.
Alex followed Olivia with her eyes until she made sure she was completely out of sight and couldn’t help but moan loudly, her hand covering her mouth as her other hand pulled Casey’s head closer. “Case…I’m gonna come.” She breathed out as she looked down at Casey.
Casey bit her lip softly as she looked up at Alex. “Then come for me, and don’t look away.” She said in a rapier voice as her tongue darted out again to lick and suck on her clit.
Alex moaned Casey’s name heavily as she came undone, blue eyes never leaving green ones, her body shaking and thrusting into Casey’s face as Casey continued pumping her fingers and licking through until she finally calmed down. Alex thew her head back against the chair and whimpered as Casey licked her clean, pulling her fingers out slowly. She kissed Alex’s thighs before she pushed Alex’s chair to be able to move out of under the desk and stand up. She turned to make sure no one was near and looked back at Alex who was still panting heavily against the chair. Casey chuckled darkly as she leaned over the desk, Alex’s underwear hanging on her hand.
“Feeling better?” Casey smirked as she licked her fingers clean, moaning at the taste of Alex.
Alex left out a heavy breath as she shook her head. “You’re gonna pay for that.”
“Oh, am I?” Casey raised her brow as she tilted her head. “I just wanted to help you relax.”
“And you couldn’t wait until we got home.” Alex raised her brow as she sat down, making sure that she was stable enough to stand up.
Casey shrugged. “Maybe I wanted the whole office to hear you moan my name, so they know you’re mine.”
Alex chuckled softly as she stood up, pulling her skirt down and pressing her body against Casey’s. “I thought I was the possessive one.”
Casey shrugged. “Who said I can’t be? After all…you’re mine.” She fixed Alex’s glasses, proceeded to place her hand on Alex’s cheek and pulled for a kiss, her tongue swiping against Alex’s bottom lip asking for access.
Alex’s moaned at the taste of herself in Casey’s tongue, biting Casey’s bottom lip as she pulled away. “Guess I can’t object to that. I see why you dig it.” She smirked, kissing Casey’s nose.
“But hey…seriously talking now.” Casey smiled softly. “I only want you, Alexandra Cabot. I’m yours. And I’m not going anywhere.”
Alex smiled as she kissed Casey’s cheek. “Same goes to you, Casey Novak.” She pecked her lips softly and grinned. “Should we go home now so I can fuck you?” She bit her lip.
Casey smirked. “As you wish.” She moved once Alex backed away from her, both women grabbing their briefcase.
“Can I have my underwear back?” Alex looked at Casey.
“Oh. This is mine to keep.” Casey smirked as she put the underwear inside her briefcase.
Alex sighed as she shook her head. “You better remember to take it out when we’re home or you’ll be in serious trouble tomorrow.”
Casey laughed softly as Alex wrapped her arm around Casey’s waist, kissing her cheek and walking together to the door. Alexandra Cabot still had her doubts about being a jealous person, but she had to agree that she was a little possessive. But after all, Casey Novak was hers and only hers.

her ice queen persona disappears behind closed doors
takes on a more doting and nurturing role outside of work
always reminds you about your appointments or meetings. she’s very punctual and wants you to be as well
prefers to hold your hand when you walk rather than wrap her arm around your waist
only wraps her arm around your waist if she’s feeling possessive

tries to cook for you but usually ends up just ordering takeout
will definitely try to make a meal together with you tho
loves trying on clothes for you to judge !!
will usually avoid talking about work with you if she had a hard day. sometimes you have to remind her that you’re not gonna throw up and run for the hills if she shares the things she’s seeing and experiencing.
likes resting her hand on your thigh when you’re in the passenger seat
definitely a cat person!!!!!!!! she has 2 girl cats :>
she treats her cats like her babies; they have the best quality litter, the biggest and most expensive toys… one would think that she spoils them more than she spoils you
she’d give up all her life savings to make you happy tho
buys you little things that remind her of you, or if she just sees something she thinks you might like. it’s not uncommon for her to come back with new clothes or other knick knacks that she believes would entertain you

The Wrong Pants--A/O headcanon
A.N. Something short. Hope this gives someone a laugh :)
Her doorbell rang.
Alex sat up, looked beside her, smiling at the sight in her bed. The detective laid on her stomach with her arms wrapped around the pillow under her head; a grey-colored sheet draped over her, covering most of her body.
She stayed.
The doorbell rang again, and Olivia stirred. "What's that?" She murmured, still half asleep.
"I got it. Go back to sleep." Alex leaned over and kissed her cheek. They were long past the fling stage; she could sneak in tender kisses and Olivia wouldn't flinch.
The doorbell rang again and Alex finally slid out of bed, a draft breezing over her nakedness. She squinted in the dark, grabbing a t-shirt and pants from the pile of clothes strewn about on the floor. Some by the bed, some by the door.
She pulled something on quickly, not thinking about style or fit, and hurried from the room, turning on the living room lights to save her from stumbling into a wall. She opened the front door, a little surprised but not shocked to see Elliot standing dressed for the office but missing his tie. In his hand his phone.
"I know it's early counselor, but we got a break in the Murphy case."
Alex crossed her arms over her chest and leaned in the doorway. "You couldn't tell me over the phone?"
Elliot shrugged. "I was in the neighborhood." He flipped open his phone. "I'm calling Liv now."
A shudder rushed down Alex's back and she straightened up, standing alert on both feet, the door gripped in her hand tight. "Wait—"
Elliot pressed the button and set his phone to his ear.
A tune played, not from the bedroom like she expected but from her pocket and Alex's gaze shot down. It was the pocket of a pair of dark grey slacks. The same pants Olivia wore to her apartment. The same ones she wore now. 'Shit...'
Alex looked back to Elliot, her gaze dragging up tentatively. Their eyes met for a second and Elliot sucked his lips in, looking between her and the pants pocket that kept ringing Olivia's tune.
He took the phone from his ear and closed it. A crooked grin stretched across his face. "Two birds, one stone." He slid past Alex and strode into the apartment.
"Elliot leave her alone." Alex tugged his jacket, but he escaped.
"Don't worry counselor, I've seen my partner in her underwear—"
"Elliot." Alex said through her teeth and rushed to catch up to him. "Elliot—"
"She's like a sister to me, promise—"
"Elliot—"
He stopped in his tracks, looking through the bedroom doorway. "There's sleeping beauty." He said, sticking his tongue in his cheek as he eyed his splayed partner. He took a deep breath and Alex's gaze widened.
"Elliot don't."
"My bad did I walk in on something?!" Elliot yelled and flipped on the lights as he sauntered in proudly, his voice jolting Olivia from her sleep as she clutched the sheet to her chest.
He dived onto the bed like a kid and their eyes met, Olivia's wide.
"You having sleepovers with the A.D.A. now? Why wasn't I invited?" He jested and Olivia kicked him in the thigh with her covered foot.
"Don't roll over too much. Your clothes are over there." He nodded to the floor and Olivia’s jaw clenched. "Is this your way of cozying up to the D.A.?" He laughed, not a bit bothered by the menacing look in Olivia's eyes, as they glared at him under a furrowed brow.
"Blame Cabot for wearing the wrong pants."
Olivia looked to the prosecutor who stood in the doorway, shaking her head with a hand over her eyes.
"I tried to call but you left your phone in your pocket." Elliot sputtered his laughs again.
"Get out."
"Hey. Secret's safe with me, partner." He tousled Olivia's short hair, hopping off the bed, and hustling to the door before she could snap at him. "Cragen wants us at the precinct in an hour." He left the room with a wave and disappeared around the corner.
Alex met Olivia's gaze. "...my bad. I’ll put my glasses on next time."

Blackout
Tumblr media
Alex Cabot x fem!reader Warnings: language, lots of alcohol consumption.
Alex didn’t mind the holiday season, the festivities around the city were kind of cute. It was nice to see people coming together, full of smiles and glee as they raced through the city in various celebrations. She did however, loathe company Christmas parties, she not only had to attend the one the D.A’s office threw, it was under high recommendation she attend the SVU squad’s party, and that didn’t even begin to breach the other holiday balls and galas the New York elite legal world were expected to appear at.
Tonight she was trapped at the SVU’s party, though it was at least the squad, a handful of the uni’s who worked at your precinct, and smattering of other specialists who worked alongside the unit, eager to take advantage of the cheap bar and free food. She’d flitted through the crowd, spending as much time as she could handle with the few people she could put up with, mainly sticking around Liv’s side, knowing she wouldn’t murder anyone as long as she was around, their friendship able to get her through most of the night while she tossed back glasses of scotch.
You were able to avoid her most of the night, giving her a quick nod the few times your paths did cross, thankful you were never alone together and it was easy for you to slip off unnoticed to another circle.
Alex hated you, or at least, you were ninety-nine percent sure she did. She always blew you off, she was even more curt, cold and distant with you than everyone else. Though to be completely honest she was like that with most of the team. You’d tried your best to prove yourself to her, to be nice when she first transferred in, but after a while it just became an exhausting task that wasn’t worth it anymore. Her standoff-ishness making you roll your eyes on many occasions, and it wasn’t long before she was your least favourite person at work.
It was shortly before eleven that Olivia approached you, Alex practically stumbling on her arm. You’d seen her tossing back liquor like it was no problem, but hadn’t seen her eat anything all night.
“You were DD-ing tonight right?” Liv quietly asked.
“Yeah, I’m working tomorrow, figured it’d be best to only have one.”
“You think you’d be able to get Alex home?” Olivia’s eyes begged at you, knowing that not only did Alex definitely need to go home, but she’d be more than happy knowing she had managed to get out of there before anyone really noticed how obliterated she’d gotten. You sighed heavily,
“Does she even know her address?” Alex mumbled off a series of numbers that were at least understandable, and when plugged into your phone were of an apartment. You double checked she had everything, phone, keys, purse, and grabbed a bottle of water from the bartender before guiding her out of the bar and into your car.
*
You were annoyed when your alarm went off the next morning despite knowing you had to go in. You were at least the lucky one, getting a few extra hours than Carisi and Rollins who were out arresting a perp you’d been waiting on to turn back up. They had him in the box by the time you got there, waiting for your go ahead before they started questioning. Your tired nod was all they needed before you sucked back the coffee you’d picked up, watching through the glass.
If you thought you were tired, the hoarse voice that half called out to you sounded completely wrecked. Your head didn’t even need to glance up before you knew who it was, the drink tray on the table extended in your had to her while your eyes didn’t leave the interrogation room.
“I know I should’ve been here earlier.” Alex apologized, her hand instantly grasping at the coffee you were holding out for her, her brow quirking at the bottle on the tray, turning it to face her, “Pedialyte? Isn’t that for babies?” You finally glanced up at her, swirling the nob to quiet Carisi’s early morning shouts from interrogation. You expected her to be hungover but was not expecting the casual hair pinned back, lack of makeup and much more casual clothes than her usual pristine suits.
“God Cabot you look like crap.” The words were out of your mouth before you could stop them, “sorry…” you flinched. “And..” You grabbed the coffee from her hand, “I’d start with the Pedialyte, the caffiene’s just gonna dehydrate you more.” She grumbled at your words, twisting open the bottle, heeding your warning to sip and not chug the electrolyte beverage.
“Where’s Benson?”
“Sorry to say you’re stuck with me. The ever so crappy side to being Sergeant…you get stuck with post party days.” You watched as she took a steady breath, leaning back against the table behind you, “there’s a greasy breakfast sandwich in there, might not be your style but it might help. I figured you’d want it.”
“I was really that bad last night that you knew I’d be fucking hurting today?” She winced, hating that she’d been so vulnerable infront of so many people she had a reputation to uphold. “I mean, I don’t even remember how I got home..I had no cash and there’s no record on my cards of cabs or anything.” Your cheeks flushed, an awkward laugh escaping your lips, “oh god what?” A very embarrassed blonde turned to you and you shook your head.
“The squad didn’t see anything. Liv got you outta there, but..I drove you home.”
“Fuck..I’m sorry.” Alex felt her heart start to beat a million miles a minute, she knew she should’ve been paying attention to the conversation on the other side of the glass but between her shame, her worry, and the nausea building in the pit of her stomach she simply couldn’t.
“I mean…when I’m that drunk I’m lucky if I even remember to lock my door. You’re just lucky your bathroom’s meticulously organized, I had no trouble finding things.” Alex’s eyes widened at your words, realizing what you meant.
“Oh God…you were in my apartment?!”
“Listen..I’m not gonna say anything,” you sipped at your coffee, slightly turning towards her, “and I work in sex crimes. I wasn’t about to let you stumble into your apartment alone, it’s kinda part of the D.D.’s responsibility.”
If Alex thought her heart was beating too fast before she felt like it was about to beat out of her chest right now. She knew you were a good person, of course you’d make sure to get anyone home safe who needed it. But God why did it have to be her??
“I…I didn’t say anything…incriminating…did I?” You gave an awkward laugh that made Alex worry even more, her stomach beginning to flutter and not because of the raging hangover.
“Maybe we should just focus on work.” You replied, unable to meet her eye as your hand twisted the dial up again, Carisi’s voice echoing through the speaker.
*
“Give me your keys.” Your hand extended out to Alex once you’d parked in front of her apartment.
“Mm fine.”
“Keys Cabot!” You rolled your eyes as she basically hucked them at you, stumbling out of your car.
It was easier than you expected getting her upstairs and into her apartment. You tossed the keys with her purse on the table inside the door while she teetered off down the hallway. Making sure to grab her phone you filled up a glass of water and followed the shuffling noises into her bedroom. Alex was digging through a dresser drawer, her back to you while you ducked to plug her phone in, double checking the volume was up for the inevitable phone call you’d have to make the next day. She let out a high pitched whine of frustration that grabbed your attention, her usual nimble fingers unable to get the clasp on her dress undone.
“God..” you muttered, “come here!” Pouting, the blonde tottered over to you, dumping the pyjamas she’d grabbed on the bed.
Resting a hand on her shoulder you turned her around, swiftly undoing the clasp and pulling the zipper down her dress. You gave her a few minutes of privacy to change, hoping she could at least manage that on her own as you dug through her bathroom, eventually finding a package of make up wipes and a bottle of Advil. Moving back into the bedroom you added the Advil to the pile of morning after cures on the bedside table and handed her a make up wipe. She promptly threw it on the floor and collapsed against the pillows.
“Jesus Christ I am never having children…” you muttered to yourself, pulling out another wipe as you sat on the edge of her bed, tugging her arm until she was sitting up again. “You’ve gotta take your make up off, your porcelain skin will hate you otherwise.” You mocked, she huffed at you in respsonse. With another eye roll you gently started wiping off her face.
“You think I have porcelain skin?”
“You really miss sarcasm cues when you’re blitzed don’t you?” She just stared at you in response, her brain not really able to comprehend your words. When you finished wiping off her second eye of its shadow, her fingers gently wrapped around your wrist, bringing your hand down from her face.
“You’re really pretty…”
“A-ha. And that is the tequila talking.” You tossed the wipe in the trash, “now please tell me you don’t have contacts in because we are not friends and sticking my finger in your eyeball requires a certain level of friendship.” The expression on her face changed, her frame shrinking back from you and she suddenly looked like she was about to cry.
“We’re…not friends?”
“Alex…” you sighed, “you’re not gonna remember any of this so it doesn’t really matter what I say. You’re not nice to me, and in return, I don’t really like you. You should at least have some kind of respect for the Sergeant of your squad, but you really don’t.”
“I adore you…” you couldn’t help the snort that came out, “I-I mean it. You’re gorgeous,” her hand reached out in an attempt to grab yours, stroking down your arm, “hardworking..driven…” she paused to hiccup, “when you smile I feel like a…puppy.” She hesitated a second but then began to lean in towards you and you knew it was time to get out of there.
“Ohkay.” You patted her hand, standing from the bed, “when you can say that without slurring so hard I can barely understand you…I’ll believe you.” Alex dropped back against the bed, curling so her back was to you. “Do you need a puke bucket?”
“No.” Her voice was muffled by the blankets but it had a shake to it now that was different than before. God, was she actually crying? This is why you hated dealing with drunk people. Sighing, you pulled the garbage can out from under her bedside table and moved it to optimal puke position just in case.
“Try to get some sleep. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Swinging her bedroom door shut you left her apartment, ever so thankful you were finally headed for your own bed.
*
Coming out of the interrogation room Alex eyed the paper bag holding the mentioned breakfast sandwich as she turned to Carisi.
“Where’s the Sarge?”
“Liv’s office.”
“Thanks.” She scooped up her bag, adding the sandwich and Pedialyte to it, picking up the coffee before heading over to the office, knocking on the doorframe gently. You gave her a quick nod as a welcome since you were still on the phone. She softly shut the door behind her, coming to lean against one of the chairs while you finished up your conversation.
“His lawyer didn’t take the deal?” You asked, taking in the expression on her face.
“Oh, no, he did.” She waved it off, “it’ll be fine. I just…you’re avoiding me. More than usual.”
“Counsellor..” You tried to warn her off the subject.
“No. I clearly said or did something last night that was rude, or hurt your feelings and I need to apologize. I may not have any memory of it, but I didn’t mean to offend you.”
“You’ve said far worse things to me stone cold sober, it’s fine.”
“It really isn’t.” Naturally, she was persistent on the issue, “I’m more than able to rescind whatever I said if you’ll tell me.”
“You really don’t need to. I promise, it’s fine.” You were doing your best to save her from the self inflicted embarrassment, urging her to drop it. But Alex was Alex and once she set her mind to something, she wasn’t about to fold and back down
“If I called you a name, or insulted your professional standing or something—“
“Fine! You really want to know what you did?”
“Yes!”
“Should I start with the part where you were acting like a toddler? Or the part where you confessed your undying love and then tried to kiss me?” Okay, you were being a little overdramatic with your wording, but she was always a bitch to you and maybe you were enjoying this a little bit. At least you were doing it in the privacy of the office and not infront of everyone.
“Oh..God.” Alex dropped down into the chair she was leant against, burying her face in her hands. You could see the flush speedily creeping up her neck.
“Told ya you didn’t want to know. I think our brains are trying to tell us something when we black out..we probably don’t want to remember what we did or said.”
“I would rather you told me I puked on you.” Her voice muffled by her hands, not daring to look up at you yet.
“Hey, if that’s the rumour you wanna spread, go for it.” She tilted her head slightly, an eye poking out between her fingers, “We can go the normal route people do and pretend it never happened if you want to. Believe me, I’m not planning on telling anyone.”
“Really?”
“Just because we don’t like each other..or..so I thought..doesn’t mean I’m gonna spread gossip around the office. I mean, you were loaded, you probably didn’t mean it.”
“I don’t dislike you…” She was still leant forward, elbows on her knees, probably to keep the room from spinning, but she at least glanced up at you for real this time.
“So it’s true?” You teased.
“Well..undying love?!”
“Okay, okay, I exaggerated a little bit.” You smirked, “but man, you’ve got to work on your flirting skills! Contrary to popular belief being mean to someone isn’t going to clue them in to a little crush.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Apology accepted.” You warmly smiled at her, “now if you wanna dial back the bitchiness we can grab a coffee, start out as friends…give me a chance to catch up to where you are.”
“That’d be nice.” She smiled, her cheeks still flushed, but there was appreciation in her eye. There was a quick knock at the door before Carisi swung in,
“Hey Sarge, Chief’s here for ya.”
“For fucks sake,” you mumbled under your breath, standing from your chair you moved through the office, pausing briefly to squeeze Alex’s shoulder. “Liv’s got gravol in her desk if you need it. I’ll text you later?”
“Thanks.” She smiled, this time brighter, it actually reached her eyes this time as she watched you walk through the bullpen, a brilliantly fake smile on your cheeks as you greeted Dodds. She may have embarrassed the hell out of herself, and felt like absolute garbage today, but maybe there was something good that could come from one too many tequila shots.

Beautiful Stranger*
Tumblr media
Title: Beautiful Stranger
Pairing: Alex Cabot x Reader
Summary: Alex and Y/n go home together after meeting at a bar.
Minors DNI, 18+
Warnings: smut, vaginal fingering
Word Count: 1580
Y/n nervously fiddled with the folded up piece of paper in her pocket. Her day had been much less stressful than she thought it would have been. Still, this night out at the bar was more than warranted. Not only was it at the request of her new law firm, but it was also a staple of new lawyers to get their first drink here when they got hired.
"I still think you're a traitor, but I am proud of you," Casey said as she sat down with their drinks. Y/n accepted the Long Island iced tea, happily sipping on the straw as she watched Casey sip on her whiskey. "Eventually you'll have to find a nicer drink than that."
"But for now, I'm perfectly fine where I'm at," Y/n said. Casey kicked at Y/n under the table playfully. They had a good banter going on, one that reflected their very sibling-like relationship. Y/n was the little sister that Casey had always wished for growing up. Casey had an actual little sister, but Denise wasn't nearly as much fun for Casey to be around.
"I guess divorce lawyers are allowed to have a bit more fun than the rest of us," Casey teased. Y/n flicked some of her drink off of her fingers at Casey, who shook it off.
"You've been a lawyer for a whole year and a half longer than me. What exactly do you know?" Y/n asked. It was a challenge, or at least an opportunity to show off. One that Casey was not going to pass up.
"I know a ton of stuff. Over there is Serena Southerlyn, an ADA for homicide. There is the SVU Executive ADA, Elizabeth Donnelly, and the regular ADA, Alex Cabot." Y/n's focused was lost on anything else Casey said the moment she laid eyes on Alex. Casey sighed as she watched her best friend fall for the prickly SVU ADA.
Casey didn't bother to tell Y/n that it was a bad idea. Y/n rarely ever actually went after women whenever she saw them, especially in places like this. Casey just watched as Y/n tried to subtly stare at Alex all night. They finished their drinks, and Y/n's must have been strong because when Casey went up for her third, Y/n took her chance to talk to Alex.
"I don't think that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Y/n Y/l/n," Y/n introduced herself. Alex looked surprised, as if Y/n had completely caught her off guard. Casey was about to go rush over to Alex's aid, but a different blonde caught her eye instead. Surely Y/n wouldn't mind if Casey tried to shoot her own shot with Serena on the other side of the bar.
"Alex Cabot. We're not going up against each other in court, are we?" Alex asked. Y/n shook her head as she leaned against the bar.
"Probably not. I was awful with criminal law. Luckily, a decent divorce firm in the city was hiring," Y/n said. Alex looked like one of the girls in school who would have torn Y/n apart, but she was much nicer than any of them had been capable of. The two of them spent hours talking with each other at the bar together until they noticed that the other patrons were clearing out.
"I don't want our night to end here," Alex said as she stepped out of the bar with Y/n.
"You could come back with me," Y/n offered.
"I'd like that," Alex said as she took Y/n's hand. The two of them walked in the direction of Y/n's apartment until they stumbled upon a cab waiting for them. There was a giddiness between the two of them, one that neither woman had felt in a long time. An aura of lightheartedness that didn't end even as they made their way out of the cab and up to Y/n's apartment.
The threshold of the apartment found their drunken giddiness turn into something a bit more lustful. Y/n tripped over her own feet while trying to take her shoes off and accidentally pinned Alex against the door. Alex let out a small gasp as she realized how close Y/n was to her.
Y/n's eyes flicked upwards, meeting Alex's as neither woman tried to move away. Alex brought her hands up to rest along the back of Y/n's neck. She hoped that Y/n would take the hint and lean in for the kiss. Alex would have been mortified if she had misread Y/n's signals. Luckily for her, Y/n caught on, and after what felt like eternity to Alex, Y/n leaned forward and kissed Alex.
The press of Y/n's lips against Alex's were gentle. Y/n's hands came up to grip at Alex's hips, and despite the obvious strength in them, Y/n was gentle. Alex felt a warmth spread throughout her body as Y/n pressed her knee against Alex's center. The blonde's head was starting to feel a little fuzzy, both from her growing arousal and the drinks at the bar.
"Take me to your bed," Alex said. It was forward enough that even she was surprised by her words. Y/n didn't need to be told twice, and happily led Alex back to her bedroom.
A formerly discarded skirt was kicked off to the side as Y/n led Alex towards the bed. Alex hit the mattress with a soft sigh. She sank deeper as Y/n moved on top of her. Y/n leaned down to kiss Alex once again, this time busying her hands with undoing each of the buttons on Alex's shirt.
The material felt expensive, as if it could have paid a month's worth of rent for Y/n's apartment. And still, it ended up pushed aside onto the floor with the rest of Alex's expensive clothes. Y/n pressed on without a care in the world for anything aside from Alex. Alex seemed to be in a similar mindset as Y/n and just wanted things to progress a little faster.
Alex did her best not to be pushy, but she was still grinding her cunt against Y/n's thigh as they made out. Y/n could feel the slick heat from Alex's cunt against her skin, making her fingers twitch slightly. Alex could feel the twitch against her scalp from the hand balled up in her hair.
"Please, I need more," Alex pleaded. Y/n hadn't expected Alex to sound so desperate, nor did she expect the power trip from it. It was intoxicating for Y/n to know that she was the one making Alex wet, even more than the alcohol had been. Y/n felt like she was on a power trip as she teased Alex's cunt with her fingers.
Alex's breathing grew heavier and heavier with each swipe of Y/n's fingers near her entrance. Alex bucked her hips trying to match Y/n's movements to catch her at the right angle, but Y/n was too good. She kept Alex on edge waiting for the sweet feeling of relief to come. Alex didn't know whether she wanted to feel Y/n's fingers rubbing against her clit or fucking in and out of her until she came screaming Y/n's name.
"You are so pretty like this," Y/n muttered into Alex's ear as she dropped down a little. The angle gave Alex exactly what she had been craving. Y/n's fingers slipped inside of Alex and moved slowly at first with shallow little thrusts. "Do you want more? Do you want me to fuck you harder?"
"Please," Alex whimpered. Y/n, who didn't need to be told or asked twice, quickly sprung into action. She let her fingers go as deeply into Alex as they could before pulling them out and pushing them back in. It quickly became almost too much for Alex's body to handle, especially with the curling of Y/n's fingers inside of her. Alex grabbed onto Y/n's shoulders and dug her nails into the skin as she felt her body try to turn into itself.
"You're so close Alex, I can feel it. Cum for me sweetie. I want to see how beautiful you look all blissed out. Let me see," Y/n softly commanded. Her tone was firm, but gentle, something that Alex had never experienced with another lover before. She didn't want any of it to end, even though she wanted to do exactly what Y/n told her to. Eventually, the sensations became too much and Alex was forced to let go of her composure as her orgasm washed over her.
"Don't go," Alex begged as she clung to Y/n. The woman hadn't moved away from Alex except to move off of her body. Y/n laid right beside Alex, who pulled Y/n's arms over her waist. It barely took any time for Alex to fall asleep with Y/n holding her in bed. Sleep came to Alex with an ease that she had never known before, not even in past relationships. It was something that Alex doubted would be available to her when the sun rose the next morning, but she was happy to indulge in for the remainder of the night.

Calex Kids OneShot 1/6
OC Character ~ Atlas Cabot Novak
The Lawyer
Tumblr media
Being held captive in a court room, during a rape and murder trial hadn’t exactly been on Atlas’ agenda for a bitter Thursday morning.
Neither had being shot, and yet, here she lay, her abdomen excreting copious amounts of blood as she attempted to slow the bleeding with her blazer.
William Walker, was a violent man, at least Atlas had deemed him so from the moment the squad had collared him, her was easily aggravated and near effortlessly provoked.
However no one including his own defence attorney had expected him to grab the gun of a court officer and hold a court of three dozen people hostage.
He’d already shot the trial Judge, and Atlas had crawled over to Liz Donnelly, her belt slipping from her waist as she attempted to create a tourniquet and stop the immense bleeding that poured from her shoulder.
“Atlas your bleeding.” The ADA grunted her hands still pressed against Liz’s shoulder,
“So are you Liz.” The judge attempted to bat away Atlas’ hands, but Atlas was a lot stronger than she’d anticipated, even after being shot.
“Yes in the shoulder, but the bastard shot you in the abdomen, take care of yourself I’m fine.” Atlas’ jaw clenched harshly, as she negated the flying arms of Judge Donnelly,
“And I’m sure the bench wouldn’t appreciate everybody’s favourite Judge dying from blood loss.” Liz scoffed,
“And your mothers will go mad if they find out you’ve been taking care of everyone but yourself.”
Outside on the steps of the courthouse just about everyone had been on the receiving end of two very aggravated lawyers and their aggression.
“Why the hell are we just stood out here, why aren’t you doing something!” Liv turned to Alex although she remained at an arms length away,
“Alex you and I both know they’re waiting for a hostage negotiator.”
The phone rang through the courtroom people flinching as it pierced through the silence. William glanced up panicked, glaring at the phone, until Atlas spoke up,
“This your first time taking people hostage Willy? That’s a hostage negotiator they want to know what your demands are so that everyone can leave here alive.” He nodded picking up the phone, while Atlas eyes the weapon of the second court officer that sat on the defence table away from the rest of the hostages of whom had all crowded on the opposite side of the courtroom, on the benches.
He was making his demands, when Atlas decided it was now or never, she was impatient perhaps it was a trait she’d inherited from her mothers but she lunged for the weapon while his back was turned, and four shots fired.
Across the phone she could distantly hear the commotion and if she heard it right she heard her Mama (Casey) shouting orders.
In a pool of her own blood, she crawled over to the phone, “Suspect down 3 GSW’s to the chest send a bus.”
She succumbed to unconsciousness after that, the beeping of the hospital monitors rousing her, a throbbing in her head coaxing a groan from dry lips.
“Turn that fucking thing off.” Casey chuckled standing at her daughters bedside, Alex combing a hand through Atlas hair,
“Welcome back monkey you scared us for a second there.” Atlas chuckled although winced at the weight in her chest and sharp pain that travelled through her abdomen,
“And I’d bet that you scared everyone else while we were in there.” Alex scoffed although Casey threw her a stare that said ‘really’
“We did no such thing.”
“Alex you made a patrolman cry.”

*not my gif*
Alexandra Cabot was known for being ‘The Ice Queen’, she couldn’t deny that for a while it annoyed to even hear that nickname, but after a while, she learn to grow into it because she figured out that people feared her, which made her powerful in some way, knowing people wouldn’t want to mess with her. She knew how to get what she wanted, and if she didn’t, she would go out of her way to do so. In court, she wasn’t playing, she was also not doing it to be in the headline of the newspaper, she wanted justice and if she had to be The Ice Queen to get it, then bring it on. Everyone already knew that if they got under her skin, they were done for sure, the whole squad had seen it, hell, the whole precinct had seen it. Casey had seen it. Of course it hadn’t been against her, never her. She was probably the only person that had been safe from the Ice Queen, even when she did something that could upset Alex, she could never stay upset, she was her girlfriend, she was her weakness, and people knew this, but even trying to have Casey there to protect themselves, it never worked. And honestly? Casey enjoyed it, she just laughed and was the person to say, I told you so.
And here they were once again. Another case that had been handed to Alex and once again, they were trying to have Alex as their servant, getting them warrants for everything when they didn’t even have any proof nor reason to get them. They felt entitled to demand Alex to get them, knowing perfectly that Petrovsky would never actually agree, and she’d get scolded again, and if that’s what they expected her to go through? They were completely in the wrong, and she was done listening to them yelling around, specially Elliot that always thought that because his gut told him so, things had to go his way.
“I will not tell you again. Do you want the warrant? Then find me something that actually works, find me evidence, a witness, anything that is not your stupid gut. If you think Petrovsky is going to give me the warrant just because your goddamn gut told you so, then you talk to her yourself. And let me tell you…if I get scolded for it, it’ll be ten times worst for you.” Alex grabbed her briefcase and looked at Elliot again. “Until you get me something good, don’t even think about calling me or making me waste my time again.”
Alex walked out of the room without looking at anyone else anymore, the whole room had gone quiet and there was no one who could say or stop her. She had said what she had said, and that was the end of it. They all looked at each other, almost speechless for what had just happened. It was even funny how they were so surprised knowing this was definitely not the first time that Alex had gone off on them like this, and certainly it wouldn’t be the last either. Casey just stood there staring at them, not a surprise in her face as she looked at everyone. Elliot then stared at her for a moment, his eyebrows raised as if questioning if she could do something. Almost begging her for anything.
Casey chuckled. “What? You really think I can convince her? After that? You’re out of your mind.” She grabbed her briefcase and shrugged. “You know she’s right. Petrovsky has her eyes on us as it is. Another stunt like this, and both of us will be sleeping in a cell.” She walked to the door and then looked back at Elliot. “Don’t test her, Stabler. You already know the Ice Queen.” She grinned before she left the office.
Casey had stopped to buy lunch for both of them, knowing that after that scene, Alex had completely forgotten that they were going to go for lunch after visiting the precinct. She went to her office to drop off her briefcase and coat and then headed to Alex’s office, who was at her desk reading through the files. Casey closed the door behind her and smiled once Alex looked up at her, an annoyed look on her face. Casey raised the bag of food in her hands and walked to the small table beside Alex’s desk, putting the bag on the table.
“That was quiet a scene.” Casey chuckled softly as she looked at Alex.
“I’m pretty sure the gray hairs I have are not because of my age but because of them.” Alex sighed as she dropped her pen and stood up, walking to Casey. “You know, the other day, Elliot asked me how it was possible that you dealt with me at home.” She grinned.
Casey shook her head. “Did he really say that?”
Alex shrugged. “I know he didn’t mean it. It was the heat of the moment.” She smiled as she looked at Casey, her hand going to Casey’s cheek and stroking it softly. “How do you deal with the Ice Queen back home, Ms. Novak?”
Casey chuckled softly as she placed her hands on Alex’s waist and pulled her close to her body. “I simply start the teasing and she’s over it in an instant.” She smirked.
Alex raised her brows playfully. “Sounds like a good way to get her out of her trance.” She giggled as she kissed Casey’s lips.
Casey smiled against her lips and raised her brow. “See? She’s now gone.” She pecked her lips. “So now, sit down and eat. I’ll help you out a bit before I have to go to my arraignment.”
“You’re an angel.” Alex smiled and sat down, opening the bag to get their food.
********************
After the stunt that Elliot had put, he had come to an agreement with Alex once they found more evidence that Alex took to get the warrants they needed, which also helped her at the end to win the case. It was comical to see how after the case was over, either they won or lost, they completely forgot about the arguments or fights they had, sometimes it was taken personally, but they knew that after the stress and pressure, they could all say things they didn’t mean. And so, they all moved on. This is why they all got along so well, and they were a good team, they understood each other, and they’d always have each other’s back no matter what.
A few days after, they got another case, and this one was handed over to Casey, Alex had joked with them that if they didn’t want to get scolded again, maybe they should hand it to Casey, who seemed to deal with them better than Alex ever did. Yes, Casey got frustrated, she got into arguments with them, she had a tough attitude and always put everyone in their places, but they had not actually seen Casey going off like Alex had done so many times -that’s why the nickname-. As they went over the case, Casey already knew this would be a tough one; a group of teenage boys who raped three students plus the sister of a little girl, and two of those girls…were dead. Of course, the three teenagers had money, which made the case even harder because of missing evidence, missing witnesses, and a ton of bullshit from the attorneys. Casey had been in this situation before, and she didn’t want to make the same mistake again, she didn’t want to put the only victims and witnesses she had in the Grand Jury. She couldn’t risk it, she couldn’t possibly go through that ordeal again of convincing them to testify before the Grand Jury and then having them put in danger because they were brave enough to speak. She had gone over it with the whole squad, making it very clear that she’d only be presenting the statements and that was it, so they had to find more evidence to convict the three teenagers. But there was always the DA’s office that screwed up their plan and Casey always had to listen, more so after her suspension, she was afraid it would happen again.
Casey walked into her office and threw her briefcase to the floor, slamming the door closed and going to the very end of her office. Not only was the DA on her neck, but also Olivia and Amanda were eating her alive when she told them that the girls would testify, and she was still waiting on Elliot and Amaro to find out. Did they really think that it was in her hands? She wasn’t her own boss, she didn’t run the DA’s office. She had to go by the book, so they didn’t have her neck again, she was not about to lose her license. She really didn’t want to do this, she was willing to do everything in her power to not put those girls in that position, but now, she was in a position that if she didn’t do as she was told, they’d either pass the case to someone else, or she’d be punished. She groaned loudly as she slammed her hands on the table, and just in that moment, Alex walked into her office and closed the door behind her. She had gotten a call from Olivia, and she should go check on Casey, and here she was; her girlfriend leaning over the table without saying a word, but she could see her body was trembling.
“Case?”
“Not right now, Alex.”
Alex sighed softly as she looked at Casey again. “What happened?”
“Fucking Cutter happened.” Casey snapped as she breathed heavily, walking to the window, and looking out.
“Casey, the squad will make sure they are safe. Those bastards have hidden every possible evidence that can help you.”
“I know but…this is my case. He doesn’t believe that I have a case without the girls. I can actually do this.” Casey looked at Alex.
Alex walked to her and kissed the side of her head softly. “I know. We all know this. Cutter is just being an ass.” She whispered softly as she put a strand of hair behind her ear, kissing the side of her head again. “I know my girlfriend.” She grinned.
Casey smiled softly as she nodded. “Only you do.” She chuckled.
Before Alex could say anything else, Casey’s phone went off, making her sigh heavily and went to get her phone, picking up her briefcase and putting it on her desk. Alex walked to her and leaned over the desk, looking up at her girlfriend as she answered the call. She took her time to study her face for a moment, noticing that she had never seen Casey looking this upset, let alone trembling because she was upset, but she knew this case was important for her and she regretted a bit that she had denied to have this case because then, Casey wouldn’t be in this position. Just as she thought that Casey had calmed down, she could see that her cheeks gone red and before she knew it, Casey hung up the phone, grabbed her briefcase and out the door she was. Alex furrowed her brows for a moment but followed her rapidly. Something was definitely about to go down.
Normally, Alex wouldn’t be surprised on how fast Casey walked, after all, she played softball, but she was surprised right at this moment as she followed because she could barely get on her pace, and Casey was definitely in a trance because she didn’t hear Alex calling her name. She couldn’t even figure out what was going on before they were in front of the whole squad, Olivia turned to look at both women and she could already tell that they had done something and that was the reason Casey literally flew here. Alex just stood behind Casey, not sure what to do, but slightly jumped as Casey slammed her briefcase in one of their desks, staring at everyone.
“What the hell were you thinking?”
Amanda turned to look at her and sighed softly. “We didn’t have another choice, Novak.”
“You didn’t have-“ Casey scoffed. “You should’ve called me. That was your other choice. You. Call. Me. You do know this will be mentioned in court, right? The defense will argue that you showed up without reason, threatened them and Petrovsky is gonna come for my head when she finds out what you all did.” She shook her head. “I’ll be the one in trouble, not you. And honestly? It’s all of your heads they should be after. This case can go to the trash for your stunt.”
“Call you?” Amaro furrowed his brows. “You wanted us to call you so you can tell us that you can’t get a warrant because we have nothing? Oh, no, we’ve heard that before. You think we’re not doing anything here, but we are.” He stood up from his chair and walked to Casey. “You are the one who is listening to whatever the DA’s office tells you and you don’t change a damn thing.”
Casey stared at him as if she could throw daggers with her eyes. “What is that supposed to mean?”
“We know the girls are going to testify.” Olivia simply said as she looked at Casey.
“You cannot put those girls in the stand, Casey.” Amanda shook her head. “We know the power they have, they could be in danger.”
“Don’t you think I know that?” Casey looked at her with a defying stare.
“It’s your case. It’s your choice. You’re the one putting them there! You said we had time to get evidence.” Amaro shrugged. “We’ll say that he attacked us, so we defended ourselves.”
“And you think they’re gonna buy that? You went to their house and beat up not only the father, but one of the boys. They’ll find out and then, they’re coming for our jobs. I am not risking that. I am not gonna risk my job.”
“Oh so, that’s what this is about. You care more about your job than the girls.”
“Drop it, Amaro.” Elliot said as he looked at him.
“No. She cares more about losing her job than putting the girls in danger. Rollins said it. They have money, they have power. Tomorrow the girls testify, and the next day, they’re dead somewhere in the city.”
“I do not want to put them there! Don’t you get it?! I talked to Cutter, I told him I can build a case and he said no. I cannot go above my boss.”
“You did it once! Do it again! It’s like you’re giving them the free pass to get these girls killed!”
“I don’t see you bringing me any evidence.” Casey snapped. “You stand here, ready to yell at me for something I do not have control over. You don’t want me putting them in there? Then get me fucking evidence. I cannot do your goddamn job, I have enough with mine already.” Her voice had changed, this was not Casey, this was ADA Novak. “And no. It is not my choice. I am not my own boss, if I was, trust me, I’d have your ass right now for being here and not looking for evidence. Don’t you think that I know what could happen if they testify? I fucking know, and you know that I know!”
“Do you, though?” Amaro snapped.
Casey was about to walk to him before Elliot stopped her, putting his hands on her shoulders. “Don’t pretend like I’m some cold hearted bitch who doesn’t give a shit about those girls! If I could, I wouldn’t be doing this, but I have no other choice. I want those assholes behind bars as much as you want!” Casey groaned as she looked at Elliot, pushing him so he could let go of her. She then looked back at Amaro. “I remind you we are in this together, I’m not on their side. So, if you want me to avoid this, get me some fucking evidence and don’t come for me again thinking you’re entitled to yell at me for something I don’t have control over. Go do your goddamn job instead of telling me how to do mine!”
Both Alex and Elliot stared at each other for a moment, not sure what had just happened. Amaro finally was left speechless and only nodded and walking away followed by Amanda, Fin, and Munch. The whole time that Casey had been yelling speaking, Alex had stared at the redhead with her mouth almost wide open and completely frozen as she listened. Casey was yelling at Amaro but for a moment she thought Casey was yelling at her. She knew the level of anger that Casey could get into, she had seen her in court many times, she had seen her angry, but she had never seen her lash out like this. She didn’t even know if she was scared, surprised, or even aroused by this. When Elliot stared at her, the only thing she could do was shrug, she then returned her stare at Casey who was shaking at this point, and Alex knew it was nothing but anger radiating through her body.
“Casey?” Elliot asked softly, looking between Olivia and Alex. “Are you okay?”
Casey looked at Elliot with furrowed brows. “Don’t you dare treat me like I’m fucking insane. I meant what I said.”
Elliot nodded. “I know.”
Casey slammed her hands on the desk and groaned. “Does he really think I’m that cold hearted? I know I’m not the ray of sunshine that they want me to be, but why does he think that I don’t care? I fucking care.”
Alex didn’t know what to do, she could see that Casey was still in a trance and it seemed like talking to Elliot was not working at all. Alex took a deep breath as she placed her hands on Casey’s shoulders and turned her so she could face Alex. “Casey. I need you to take a deep breath.”
Casey finally looked at Alex. “What?”
“I need you to calm down, baby. Can you take a deep breath?” Alex placed a hand on Casey’s chest feeling her heart beating fast.
“I don’t need to calm down. You heard what he said to me, and I-“
“My love…” Alex grabbed Casey’s hand and placed it on her chest so she could feel Alex’s heartbeat. “I need you to breath. Your heartbeat keeps racing. Can you do that for me?” Casey nodded as she took a deep breath. “Just like that. That’s it. Take another.” Alex took a deep breath along Casey, her eyes staring into green ones as they breathed out. “One more time, baby.” They took a deep breath and then breathed out together. “Do you need to take another?”
Casey shook her head. “No.” She looked down at her hands and furrowed her brows. “Why do you have my hand on your boobs?”
Alex chuckled. “My chest, actually. But close.” She smiled. She let go of her hand and placed both on Casey’s cheeks. “I lost you there for a second, you were in a trance.”
Casey sighed, letting her hand fall to Alex’s waist. “Amaro pissed me off.”
“He did.” Alex chuckled. “I think we’re gonna send the poor guy to therapy if he has both of us going off on him.”
Casey laughed with Alex, sighing softly. “I’m sorry. I…I guess I’m too stressed.”
“Just a bit.” Elliot grinned.
Casey looked back at Elliot and sighed again. “If you didn’t stop me, I think I would’ve slapped him or punch his in the face.”
Elliot nodded as he chuckled. “Yeah, I could tell. I preferred to stop you before you gave him a purple eye.” He rubbed her back and offered a smile. “Get out of here. We got this, okay? We know you’re doing the best you can.”
Olivia offered a smile as she nodded. “Amaro had no right to say those things to you. We know why you’re doing what you’re doing. And trust me, Casey, if there is no other option, we will definitely keep an eye on the girls until this is all over.”
Casey nodded softly. “Thanks guys.”
Elliot smiled. “We got your back.” He looked at Alex and nodded, walking away with Olivia.
Alex smiled softly as Casey returned her eyes to Alex. “I’ve never seen you like that before. Are you gonna turn into Ice Queen 2?”
“I’m probably heading there.” Casey grinned.
Alex smiled. “Then we’ll both be Ice Queens.” She giggled as she pulled Casey for a kiss. “Are you feeling better?”
Casey nodded. “I think so. I do need a break.”
“What do you say we go out for lunch? If they have something important, I’m sure they’ll call you.”
Casey nodded again and smiled. “I’d like that.”
Alex pecked her lips and then smirked. “Maybe if we have time, we can have some dessert. Just to relax a bit more.”
“Oh?” Casey raised her brow as she grinned. “Could we have dessert first?”
Alex chuckled. “I need you to have energy, so let’s go now so we have some time.” She winked at her as she grabbed her hand.
Maybe Casey and Alex weren’t that different after all, and Alex would definitely not admit that she got all hot watching Casey going off like that, cause she knew the teasing would never end.
