Este es mi #tbt de hoy. ¡ Y si soy yo! Fue un viaje que realice hace algunos años con mi esposo a unos países vecinos de #afganistan y aunque era turista siempre tenía que estar cubierta. Recuerdo que un día íbamos de una ciudad a otra, en el aeropuerto fui al baño y con el apuro, cuando sali mi abrigo quedó levantado en la parte posterior, y una mujer pasó y medio una nalgada para que lo bajara y no era una mujer cualquiera era como una especia de policía que verifican que tu vestimenta sea la correcta y que no se te vea el cabello. 3 attacks,1 air strike still no results

On 26 august 2021,Twin blast happened on kabul airport,180 people died,out of which 13 people is of US service and thousands of causalties. On 30 august 2021,one rocket blast happened in the residential area near Kabul Airport killing 2 people present in the building. The pictures came out from afghanistan media of an empty Kabul Airport. That Kabul airport which was flooded with people till 29 august was empty. Taliban captured the airport. US troops has been evacuated from the country and now, the afghans has been left alone with the terrorists or Taliban. Now everyone will watch the movie of the people of afghanistan being killed and girls been raped.

You are also looking forward to voting for a new president in one month and spending time swimming at the beach with your girlfriends this weekend. Erase that from your mind. Today is a new world, everything you have done freely and without hesitation has been taken from you. Now your activities are once again, like in the inequitable, historical past, taken from you. You cannot leave your house without covering 95% of your body and worrying that you will be taken for a forced marriage. You cannot go to school because the people in charge believe women should not be educated, your daughter cannot play her sport because girls are not allowed to play sports. Your family has to pretend you do not exist, you have to hide and not leave home, because if you do you may be raped or forced into a marriage and become property of the taliban. They say history repeats itself. Rather than allow the taliban to take control again, let’s repeat history and have the world rally to taken down the taliban so that all Afghans can live peacefully and freely with equal rights of the free world. As I share this the girls and school teachers that I met and befriended are now in hiding. They were not able to fly out on the last remaining flights on Sunday. They do not know what will happen next but they do know that they may now become property instead of people.
