I’ve been working on a little series about the different ways to achieve mental wellness! I might talk more in depth when I finally finish it but the big idea is that all forms of self care are valid and shouldn’t be pitted against each other as if there’s only one “right” way to improve your mental health.
The fruit parfait represents more “”basic”” forms of self care; eating fruits, drinking water, getting exercise, etc. it’s not uncommon to see people scoff at the idea that these things can be helpful (usually bc of unsolicited advice they’ve gotten in the past), but the fact is it can be useful for some people! As we’ll see, self care comes in many forms, and sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference.
