Hello there!! I really enjoyed your "what makes them soft/what gets them hard" headcanons for Dethklok. I was wondering if you could write a similar thing for Charles? If you're comfortable taking that request, that is. If not, feel free to ignore. I love your blog!

What makes him soft 💘

Charles is, obviously, a very busy man. All day, everyday, work work work. His hands are usually full, signing away at documents, shaking hands to confirm business deals, fidgeting nervously while he discusses finances. So it means a lot when you gently stop what he’s doing and take the time to kiss his hands. Graze your lips over his knuckles and fingertips, he’ll be entranced by the sentiment. Even if you let go to let him continue whatever he was doing, he’ll be thinking about it for at least an hour.

He really likes being sung to. The only music he listens to nowadays is death metal (usually Dethklok’s) which obviously includes a lot of screaming, growling, and heavy instrumentals. He says it ‘puts him in the brutal mood’ for whatever Dethklok is going pursue next. But, despite this, his favorite type of music is listening to your heartbeat while you quietly sing or hum. Doesn’t matter what song, doesn’t matter how good you are. Please let him place his head on your chest and just sing for him.

Basically the opposite of Toki’s Charles is a serious, uptight, no-fun business man. Everyone calls him Mr. Offdensen, Dethklok gets the privilege of using his first name and occasionally robot, and only you can use any sort of pet name. Use it to your advantage, it’s so funny how dry he is to your dumb names, and despite seeming indifferent, he really does love the silliness of it.

The thought of a room full of government officials and businessmen having to watch this display while holding back the cringe is so funny to me holy shit.

I’m gonna repeat again; Charles is busy. As much as he cares about you, he hardly has time for your relationship and is simply trying is best. Sex is barely ever on his mind. Until it is all that’s in your mind and you let him know. Seeing you needy and wanting him, hanging onto him, tugging at his tie, trying to pull him away from his work is the quickest way to get him hot and bothered. He just hasn’t considered being so desired before and it makes him crazy to watch you act like that for him.

Continuing that, when the two of you are in public and you suddenly get all touchy with him. Grazing his thigh, kissing his neck, running your hands in his hair. He knows that he should be above this and tell you to stop, but he really does love how shameless it is and how good it feels. He’s usually the most economically and socially powerful person in any room he’s in, so no one’s gonna tell him to quit on on the PDA anyway. If you’re lucky, he’ll pay you back for it at home. If you’re really lucky, he’ll drag you off into a nearby bathroom or closet. If you’re unlucky, well…

Is he a mean lover? No. Charles is very attentive and mindful of your needs. He’s going to constantly affirm with you that he’s doing the right thing. How selfless of him. But once that is all done and taken care of and he understands your limits…oh my god he wants to see you cry so badly. He just loves seeing you whine and squirm, your pretty face leaking tears for him. Of course he’ll be nice enough to kiss your tears away and praise you for how good you’re being, but that doesn’t mean he’ll stop.

Rules: Make a couple characters (or just one! as many as you want/have time for) from your WIP. Use whatever Picrew suits the vibe best—just make sure to link it. Tag a couple people to do the same.

I used the same template wallflower did. This one

I overlooked the wip part and just made characters of my favs soooo. I mean! I do have a fic where all of these characters (minus Bart) are in! And they get bombed by glitter! Thus the glitter, stickers and sparkles on their faces and around them.

I did Tim's twice cuz I didn't notice the throat scar until I was making Jason's but HE HAS A THROAT SCAR NOW HAHAHAHAHAHAHA TITANS TOWER LET'S GOOOOO!!!! JDKFVBEHFEOIJD Also yeah, skater boy Tim is something I will never give up.

AHHHHHHHHHHH THE FRINGE! JASON HAS THE FRINGE!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR THE WHITE FRINGE I SBHFVHFOEWIL Also, I headcanon that Jason has a pair of glasses cuz he's a nerd (jk, ik that's stereotyping. Steph has strawberry earrings. If there were crazier earrings, I would have put it, but there isn't. The earrings are a tribute to the fic I wrote about Steph having matchbox earrings called "Everyone Is On Fire In The End" (I've linked it) I love Steph. She's awesome.

And ofc, our perfect but-behind-the-scenes-is-actually-the-one-who-causes-all-the-shenanigans queen. Cass. And obvi she's gonna have a lot of scars. I was researching which color eyes she had and in the comics so far she has had, blue, green, and brown eyes. So i went with blue cuz... black-haired blue-eyed. Yk?

Alfred!!! I love him. The sassy grandpa butler.

Guess who the one next to Alfred is. HIMBO BRUCIE WAYNE. His scars were from when he tried to kiss a Tasmanian Devil on his trip to Australia ✌️❤️✨ This cannot possibly be Batman. The butts are lying.

Bonus: Cute Bart. He got his scars from trying to one-up Tim in skateboarding.

I salute your filial piety and wish you luck. I don't have a headcanon from any of the fandoms you're most active in right now; however! I just found something hilarious while dipping into a library copy of ADOW. At Sept-Tours, Diana is studying Aurora Consurgens, and Matthew is helping out by serving as her scriptural concordance (truly the fantasy of these novels is that her immortal vampire lover is also her RESEARCH ASSISTANT hot damn anyway.)

Anyway! He gives her all the references for a brief passage about the alchemical wedding EXCEPT a reference to The Song of Songs. And this is hilarious to me, especially in the context of their having *just* been negotiating their more-than-friends-but-he-refuses-to-have-sex relationship. So I am 110% convinced this is on purpose, that poor Matthew simply cannot bring himself to be like "oh and there's a reference to the book of the Bible about two lovers seeking each other with unfulfilled and exquisite desire." Because I don't think he would ever admit this, I now want to know what happens when Diana, years later, is using an actual concordance and finds out that her husband was holding out on her in more ways than one.

Diana and Matthew continue to be The Most. 🤣 I feel like he would have a lot of feelings about The Song of Songs, just, in general, but particularly at that point in the story. (And points forward, honestly.)

I'm tentatively getting excited for the new book that's coming in July even though I have zero idea what it's about.

This will be a long ask, I'm so sorry 🥲

I'm here for some practical questions about vampire!Bojan. We already know some stuff about him (his bite doesn't turn people, the sun doesn't hurt him much, super and superspeed and heightened senses, night vision, churches and holy stuff are not good for him).

Can you please answer, when you have some spare time? It's not urgent 🥰

1. What kind of vampire is Bojan? Like, is he ice cold like Edward Cullen? Or is he more TVD-like? Does his heart beat? If so, does it beat like a human one or slower (like in A Discovery of Witches)?

2. Since the bite isn't enough, how does he turn people into vampires?

3. Does he get "special abilities", like compulsion in TVD or like the vampires in Twilight? Can he see a person's memories when he drinks their blood like in A Discovery of Witches (wasn't this a thing in Twilight too?)?

4. Can he drink another vampire's blood in order to survive? Or is this dangerous? In the film "Daybreakers" vampires can't drink another vampire's blood because it will turn them into monsters

To answer your questions, I tweak what Bojan's powers are in between fics to choose what suits, honestly. He does have super speed and strength, the sun doesn't hurt him, and he has heightened senses but honestly on the church thing I'm undecided. It hasn't really come up and I don't know if it's part of my "headcanon."

I have not though about how Bojan turns people, because, well, he doesn't. He doesn't exactly love being a vampire so why would he do it to someone else? And since all my stories start after he's already become one....well, I just don't address it lol. But generally my default headcanon is the TVD version - you have to drink vampire blood, die, and then feed.

No memory-seeing from drinking blood (I always thought that was a weird part of ADOW haha). Bojan specifically also doesn't have compulsion powers in my various AUs, but @touchyourblood has suggested that maybe it's a power that exists and that vampires have to specifically learn, and Bojan's never wanted to. He doesn't want to have that power.

I think his heart definitely beats and he breathes, if only because the image of Bojan bloody and panting after feeding or a fight is fucking hot, there's no other reasoning there lmao

Hadn't also thought about him drinking another vampire's blood! I assume it just wouldn't nourish him at all, it needs to be nice tasty warm human blood.

Hi, love your writing! May I ask, in a mutual pining situation, would Alucard confess first, or would the reader crack first? And who would initiate sexual advances first? I assume it would take Alucard a lot to get sexually with his lover due to his past trauma?

Thank you! Headcanoning questions about the dhamp? Why yes please... putting on my 2D-character-headcanon-cap (re:show!Alucard):

Who'd confess first? Depends on the context and timeframe. What's his situation when this person comes into his life? What's their dynamic? How long has it been since he's been all by his lonesome, since *that* betrayal happened?

I see Alucard as an introvert on the emotional side, of the coconut variety (hard shell, soft core). Once he gets attached to you, he'll *at least* want you around if you want to stay (consent is Important to him). Buuuut he'd likely keep any emotional confessions between his teeth until something *cracks* OR enough time has passed. I say this thinking about season IV events: somehow got out of a rut? Check. Unbeatable fighting skills? Check. Retreating to his shell once someone gives him an honest compliment or shows admiration? (eg. Greta after he plays with the kids) Check. He's adowable y'dig?

Now... the 300+ year old Alucard (from, say, N0cturne) might be a different beastie in this respect compared to the tormented-Alucard from the first show... honestly I'm happy we get to see this version on screen too, can't wait for more.

On advances... I kind of see him as demi in that respect, so developing an attraction to anyone only after the creation of an emotional bond. That tear during his first experience(before it all went haywire) was absolutely from an emotional place (he'd been deprived of closeness and care for so long).

Thank you so much for asking, I’m doing well, hope you are too. Also I’m happy you’re loving my work! ❤️ I absolutely LOVE Trystan Gravelle’s portrayal of Baldwin! I do also love what Peter McDonald did in one season as my favorite vampire! 😍

These two alphabets will mostly be with a mate, not him with whoever he’s casually sleeping with 😅

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

At first Baldwin isn’t affectionate at all. He’s so used to being a stone cold business man who juggles work, the congregation and his family (looking at you Matthew and Diana!) But as he spends more time with you he’ll loosen up, and becomes more affectionate. He’ll deny it of course, should it ever become known to anyone. That’s not to say though that he absolutely loves treating you like a God/Goddess.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Like with anything, it takes time for Baldwin to open up. He’s got associates of course, but not too many friends. Even fewer best friends. Those he does have though, stem from years, even centuries of shared interests. Some old battle buddies, dare I say even Domenico is a some what friend for him (since Trystan and Gregg seemed to be good buds)

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Secretly? Yes, he does! But if anyone ever finds out he’ll swear on the Gods that he doesn’t!

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Baldwin doesn’t know the first thing about cooking! He’s never needed too. When he was a human, a soldier, he wouldn’t cook. and As a vampire, there’s no need to, cooked food tastes disgusting to vampires.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Mating is for life though, so if you’re mated, you’re stuck with him for as long as you’ll live. If it’s just a fling though he’ll end it quickly (and painfully for you) then move on with his day.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

If he knows you’re the one he’ll tell you right away, hoping you feel the same. If the feelings mutual you’ll be mated soon enough, with the wedding following after! Which will of course be GRAND.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

At first not so much. And still after committing to you he’s not that gentle, but he can be! If you ask him to. However he’s more emotionally gentle with you than physically, cause have you SEEN that man?! 🥵

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He gives the BEST hugs! But it takes time for him to do so! His hugs isn’t as bear like as Gallowglass’ or as comforting as Matthew’s but it’s not like hugging rocks. His arms will wrap around you, often from behind, kissing the side of your head, and then your shoulder. He’d losen the hold once you started turning in his arms, and then he would hug you, just enough.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Like with fiance(e) he’d do it when he knows you’re the one. And he’ll tell it to you in every language that he knows!

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He’s not as jealous as Matthew is, but he can definitely get jealous. If you’re alone with him and tell him something that makes him feel jealous, he’ll roll his eyes and tell you «whatever» before leaving the room, which will usually result in you running after him and asking what’s wrong. HOWEVER, if you’re out and he sees someone hitting on you or touching you he’ll walk over, pull you behind him and tell the person in a deadly quiet voice «Try that again and you’ll find yourself without a tongue/arm».

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Like fireworks! He loves kissing the side of your head, your shoulder, obviously your lips, and over your heart. Where Baldwin would like to be kissed is over his heart, lips and cheeks.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He’s so awkward around them, mostly tries to avoid children if possible. But will do anything for his niece and nephew.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He’ll be awake as you wake up, reading something or just scrolling on his phone, smiling as you roll over to cuddle him closer. A soft «good morning» will be whispered between you, and he’ll lean in to kiss you. All mornings (if neither of you are needed elsewhere) is spent lazily in bed, cuddled close.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

He’ll drag you to bed and spend it (after you’ve done your nightly routine) loving every inch of you, absolutely wearing you out before you sleep 👀😏

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Long after you two have mated! Unless there’s a way you can see into him (like a bite or a witches kiss). If Baldwin can help it, he’ll reveal things slowly. He wouldn’t want anyone to find out anything about it, and if he can reveal snippets (under the promise that you won’t share it with anyone) he will.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It depends on the situation of course. I feel he’s more patient with his mate than with his family (looking at you again Matthew). He’s more calm in the Congregation (even if they almost had him beheaded—Matthew). While at work he’s quite hot headed.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers everything you’ve told him. No matter how small.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He has some favorites, like your first kiss, first «I love you», mating, first time.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Like any vampire, Baldwin is very protective of you, especially when you’re mated. He would kill anyone for you, and would give his life to keep you safe. In return though, he would claim that he doesn’t need protecting. «I’ve survived centuries. I’ll be fine.»

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He’ll gift you little things here and there. Coffee from your favorite café, chocolate from your favorite confectionary, your favorite flowers. Anything to make you smile. Dates and anniversaries are especially thought out. And he has a tendency to fly you to Paris for a date, or Rome for your anniversary. Anywhere you want to go, and he’ll bring you there.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Is it dumb of me to say there’s nothing bad with him? He could of course relax every so often, I’m sure the world won’t crash and burn if he did 😅

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He prides himself in looking good. It gives him a good image in the finance world, as well as to the creature world who sees him as the head of one of the most well known vampire families

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

At first? No. But as he grows closer, and later mates with you, ABSOLUTELY

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

If Baldwin is really stressed, frustrated or angry, he’ll switch over to latin, where he can curse more freely (though not around other latin speakers of cours)

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

If someone took his brother’s side (before the covenant was brought down) 🤣 In general though, when it comes to his fights with his family, he needs you to take his side, because all he feels is all of them against him.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

As a vampire, Baldwin doesn’t sleep that often, but when he does, he likes to pull you close, it’s a way for him to know you’re safe.

He takes care of you. Making sure that you’ve got everything you need.

B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

He’s the biggest shit when it comes to teasing! And he’ll make you practically beg for him to fuck you by the end of it.

V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

He’s not particularly loud, in control of his pleasure/sounds, but that’s not to say he won’t grunt and moan when the pleasure happens.

W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

Baldwin will always know just what you want. No words need to be spoken from you. He doesn’t even need to take your blood, he just knows.

Headcanon: Gallowglass has burnt down the Swedish goat 😂😂

He cannot help it! They keep on making the Swedish yule goat so easy to get to. It doesn't matter what security measures they put in.

The first time was an accident - in 1977. He was smoking and forgot to put it out. Then he found out it was a thing and set himself a challenge to see how many times he can kill the yule goat.

makes me sad how little bellarke fics are being made/updated nowadays :( I know it’s natural for fandoms to slow down once the show ends but tbh I didn’t expect it to be this bad, as an author yourself do you think it might be due to the terrible show ending or is there also lack of engagement from the readers?

I think a lot of people pulled away after the finale, that's true but there's also some who did that and after some time came back upon realizing that this final isn't *their* final. Of course that does play some role into it and I understand that people aren't like me, at least not most, I can just ignore it and keep doing what I love, writing fanfic and making gifs. I just love doing that. But others can't because of this and I get it. I've always been able to pull myself away from the narrative, even when the show was still going on. Also over the years I see some stuff differently and come to consider points I haven't before but most people don't do that.

I think part of it is also the culture we live in nowadays. When I first came on Tumblr someone having a multifandom blog was like nah, I won't follow that, I want one specific fandom or two not a whole bunch of them. Now things are different-almost everyone's multifandom and people jump from one thing to another in matter of weeks if not months. It's just the new culture, mostly inspired by the Netflix-and-the-alike providing content. The competition is to post major show after major show or remake something or to make a continuation or a prequel of something that people loved. but the idea is that people loved that one specific OLD thing and they go there because they are nostalgic.

Overall I think the generation changed, and younger folks but not just prefer to jump from one thing to the other without sticking to something. I personally and I know there's also others like me even if they're not a majority, like old stuff, the way things used to be, one episode every week, one or two major fandoms and other stuff they liked. I know that I am like that, I prefer rewatching older shows than watching anything new that doesn't really speak to me and move on to the next a month or two after. I still find more sense in shows that come weekly like All American, SEAL team and others that I follow aka cable shows, than any dragon stuff or period drama things or witch stuff that cast one or two famous names to get the major viewing and hook people up enough to watch their stuff, drop two seasons and then stop it. ( I also have interesting observations on the handmaid's tale and i make them only because I know bruce miller, the executive was the one who was in the writer's room for the 100 and he was the reason why the show got better over time but I find flaws in him too and I find some interesting conclusions there when I watch for myself, anyway that's not important)

I think it just depends on what people like nowadays. I know not as many post fics or headcanons or gifs about the show but I still love writing my fic every day and getting something out there. I love those characters, I love the actors who played them and follow their careers. Most people don't do that. And I think that's one reason why. Then again sometimes after a bad ending some time needs to pass before people can start creating for it again. Just to shake things off. I think the core remains that there's no other couple like bellarke in any other show I've watched. There's similarities and people find them in couples I don't and didn't even back when the 100 was still on (say like Math/ias and N/na from what is it now Sh/adow and bone when I remember the bellarke fandom hated that couple back when the books were out but somehow ppl compare them to bellarke now?? which super weird). I've seen some authors get inspired and write for them again but yes not as many do anymore.

With fanfic there's also that people tell you how to write your fic now. It's not like before in FF.net when you posted and there were no tags, no warnings nothing like that and if people didn't like something they didn't read it.

Simple as that.

For example I'm now afraid to post new chapters of my ark!AU cause I know what I've written and I'm certain people will yell at me about it and that just makes me not want to post it. Other's comments are just *update* and that does little for your motivation.

There's also the fact that there's no fanfic blog to promote writers in this fandom nowadays, even if they're not as many, there's just nothing to bring them together. I know of ppl on twitter who write who I don't see here but they post chapters. There's also no fanfic awards or anything like it to help promote those who write. They're not as few as we think. I believe ppl post and they post good stuff but no many know of them.

Then there's also the issue of smut. A bellarke fic with 90% smut that is posted now gets 10k hits. One that is modern AU or something else gets say 500 hits. So there's the issue of that too on a deeper level.

Overall, I know the fandom is smaller now but frankly, I enjoy that. I don't have the rush to compete with something (I always did better on hiatuses than on showdays) and I know it's something that it's over but I am content creating for it even for 20 people here and 50 on twitter and 30 on Ao3. I'm in no interest of following big netflix productions. I watch them but they do little for me. I just don't feel the soul in them. Maybe i'm old but that's just me.
