A Persuasive Argument - dpxdc
"Great!" Danny says, clapping his hands together to get everyone's attention. The dinner table falls silent as everyone looks towards him. It's a full house today and, honestly, Danny's a little nervous. "I'm sure you're all wondering why I gathered you here today."
"It's dinnertime. In our house." Duke mutters, while doing a very bad job of concealing his yawn. He holds his fork poised over the braised beef, but, just like everyone else, still looks towards Danny before tucking in. It's intriguing enough to wait.
"Yeah, no one misses Alfie's dinner." Dick says, with a brilliant smile that Danny can't help but return.
"Precisely! What better time to talk to you all than when you're all actually here!"
"Wait, I thought you came round to work on our English essays?" Tim asks, blinking owlishly.
"I'm afraid I've lured you here under false pretences, Tim."
"This is where I live."
"I would still really appreciate help on that essay though, I mean, what the hell is Hamlet even about? I just don't get that old time-y language, like 'Hark! A ghost hath killed me!' - absolute rubbish, what does that even mean?"
"The ghost never kills anyone in Hamlet, he's there to tell Hamlet that he was murdered. Have you actually read it?"
"No, but it sounds like you have. Tim, I want this guy to help me with my essay instead. I know for a fact that you haven't read Hamlet, either."
"So? We don't need Jason, I've read the Sparknotes."
"Hi Jason, I'm Danny, pleasure to meet you, summarise Hamlet in three sentences or less."
"Am I auditioning to help you write your essays? I can't believe you’ve gone through your whole school life without reading it, it’s good!"
"Hamlet, along with a number of other classics, was banned in our house because it portrayed ghosts as intelligent and sympathetic beings rather than evil, animalistic beasts. I didn’t even get to see The Muppet's Christmas Carol until last year with Tim! It was surprisingly good, and I hate Christmas because everyone always argued and it sucked. But we're getting off topic. I—"
"No, no, please go back to that, because what the fu—"
"Boys, please." Bruce interrupts, looking to the world as if he wants to hang his head in his hands. "Danny, you were about to say something?"
"Oh, yeah, Mr. Wayne! Thanks!"
"Please, call me Bruce."
"Well, that very succinctly brings me to my point, because I'd actually really like to call you dad."
Nobody says a word. Nobody even blinks, all as shocked as the other, watching open-mouthed as Danny pulls his laptop out from beside his chair. Bruce can definitely feel a headache coming on.
"Before you say anything, I've prepared a 69 slide PowerPoint presentation on why you, Bruce Wayne, should adopt me, Danny Last-Name-Pending. Please save your questions, comments, and verdict until the end, thank you."

One of Mikan's character notes is that she hates clothes that are too big and thus consistently buys things that are actually too small so that she doesn't have to deal with them being potentially too big.
But Mikan. Bestie.
Your beloved is the Ultimate Fashionista.
Junko's just over here making Mikan clothes that fit because Mikan has probably never had anything that fit right once in her entire life. Mikan, this is what clothes that fit feel like. Isn't that nice. Don't you want more of those.
Followed immediately by Mikan bought her own Ultimate Despair nurse's outfit that is absolutely too small.

i forgot to make a post about this but one of the reasons i believe megumi will be saved and come back, and how that will tie with a major moment in the story (either related to sukuna or the merger), is because of his name. or, to be more precise, because of his father and the legacy he chose to leave behind. toji's character has been the catalyst for almost everything in the current timeline of jjk. he was behind gojo's awakening, riko's death, geto's spiraling and defection which ultimately led to kenjaku's possession of geto's body, the lack of options to release gojo from the prison realm when he was imprisoned by kenjaku, he was the object of yuki's study to break free from the status quo, etc. quite literally, if we do have a plot, we have to thank toji for it. toji, who turned the world upside down and changed everyone's lives by breaking the chains of fate - literal symbolism used in regards to him and other concepts within the story like binding vows, specifically the one sukuna made with yuuji. toji, the one who linked the six eyes, the star plasma vessel and tengen (subsequently relating to the merger) by achieving a state of no cursed energy and reaching something akin to enlightment. such a bringer of chaos who was looked upon as the key to save the world by yuki, who knew there would have to be a change in the souls of the population of japan and cursed energy as a whole to finally break free from the cycle of suffering (breaking from the samsara and achievement of nirvana). now, how does that relate to megumi? the irony in the role toji plays within this story as someone who was born without power. the fact his influence caused nothing but destruction yet he birthed a blessing. what if megumi's name meaning blessing isn't just a coincidence or cute detail symbolising toji's love for his family but a sign for what's to come? what if the blessing yuki saw in toji's achievements as well actually translates to something more meaningful. more precisely, what if megumi is, quite literally, the embodiment of it?

the most IMPORTANT tmmn alien lore from the new ep was the earrings. no not the story behind them or the power. the SHAPE. look at the shape of the clasp. look at the placement on the ears.
the aliens don't have earlobes. or at least not ones that are pronounced enough to notice or commonly pierce? (I mean, cartilage CAN be pierced obviously, but it's a bit more painful than lobe piercings, and considering these were at the lil vendor booth, I assume they're the popular style?)
...they use clip ons. the aliens use clip ons!!! that are clipped around the lower/middle part of the ear!! not the bottom! so these earrings are actualllllly: ear CUFFS!!! which are an actual thing that exist you can get. it makes perfect sense for the aliens to use these, because they're meant to wrap around the cartilage of your ear without needing an actual piercing, and their ear faces down, rather than sideways like our Human Ears do! so! they'll stay on easier with just a cuff!!
see, same ball clasps to hold them in place as above!
so. hear me out...I bet if they like earrings but piercing isn't common, and cuffs are the Style, that they'd LOVE wrap around cuff earrings like these!!!
(x) (x) (x)
Also...all of Madeline's dolls/plushies/figures had ears. ears are clearly like, a Defining thing for the aliens within their own culture. So for fanfic concepts...earrings!!! as courting items!!! or in the place of wedding rings!!! Would love to see these concepts 👀

…. I think all 16 realms used to be one realm. When they were all together, they were all connected through ninjago or something. So, when the FSM “created” ninjago, he was really just splitting up what was already there(?) It’s like splitting up Pangea, except you keep one continent left over that’s still called Pangea for some reason. The merge is essentially everything drifting back into its original state.
I’m just thinking because…. I’m rewatching s11, and isn’t it a little odd that the ppl of the never realm know about wojira? Although wojira is obviously super powerful, she’s never shown having the ability to cross over realms. And then in DR, (although this is much more likely to be a mistake rather than an actual hint) Imperium is shown to use ninjargon for all of their writing, which is rather strange considering… well, they’re not in ninjago, y’know? Both of these things make more sense if the realms were all previously connected through ninjago somehow
Idk how the departed realm works with all this tho, lol. it’ll be cool once we finally learn what the deal with the merge is I’m just making things up rn
