The reader is a very peaceful and shy person (this is They think) one day the characters are going to pay a visit and find her the house all messed up and she in the kitchen with a katana in her hand (and several dead men on the floor) surprise! Reader is a former assassin HireRental(like Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill) I love your writing it's so...amazing

Although, I don't know anything about Kill Bill so i just go by what you said, I hope its okay. And, I'm sorry but a cannot stop thinking in Yor, I've been watching too much sxf

Buddha

He probably ended entering in your bookstore while he was searching something to end with his boredom, and for sure meeting you will be useful

You quickly picked his interest with your shy and sweet personality, and at first he start talking about the books but you two ended up talking about anything else, and he even get the oportunity to meet your daughter

The day didn't end without all of you becoming friends, and Buddha start going to the bookstore frecuently to see you two, he even invite the both to hang out outside

Everytime he goes to see you he always brings some candies for you two, even if you don't want that you daughter eat much he always secretly gives them to her

Buddha doesn't exactly offer his help in your work, and he even sometimes make a mess while playing with the little girl, but at the end the both help you clean

But he likes to spend time with you too, so when he isn't with your daughter he is following you around, unintentionally helping you while chating with you (and, of course, he never miss a chance to tease you and make you blush)

He pass a lot of time telling to both of you a lot of stories about all the places he has been, even of when he was a prince (and probably you didn't believe him at first)

He is always making sure the both of you are fine, making sure you're not overworked, if he have to force you to rest he will, and he even offer to do the work while you rest

The love he feels for both of you is obvious for whoever looks at him, but it isn't like he is hidding it

One day you asked Buddha if he could take care of your daughter while you do an important work and you promised to try to be quick with it, you didn't give much details but Buddha trust you so he acepted

However you were taking a lot of time, that make Buddha start getting worried about you, even your daughter was starting to ask for you

So he decided to search for you, saying to the little girl that they should go back home with a smile, but in their way he start having a very bad feeling, and when they where there Buddha noticed the front door slighly open

He ask the little girl to wait for him before enter in the house carefuly, everything was a mess, he was starting to get worried and angry, but his priority right now was find you

And he did, he find you in one of the rooms, your clothes covered in blood and some bodies in the floor, he was surprised and confused but still carefuly approach you and say your name with a soft voice

You were starting to relax a little since you finally finish with those bastards who tried to attack you from behind when you heard someone calling you softly

Scared you turn around and see Buddha standing in front of you, you stare at him for a moment before panic, you were scare of how he would react about this, throwing your weapon away you tried to come up with an excuse

But, even if he was surprised, he can tell that you still are that sweet person he met and fell in love, there is not any evil intentions in you

With confident steps he approach you, reassuring you that is fine, you have nothing to worry about, he even embrace you to help you calm down

He goes with your daughter again and entertains her until you finish to take care of what happened, and after everything was more calm you two talk about it

He is fully supportive of your work as an assassin, and even if you want to leave it he will support you

He admitted that he is surprise for it, from all people he never expected you to have a work like this! But he doesn't mind, and isn't scare either

He will help you whenever you need it, maybe taking care of your daughter or making excuses for when you have to go

He actually find this side of you rather atractive, and he will say it you without shame, and he even tease you for it!

Nikola Tesla

He had already seen your little bookstore from afar, but today he decided to go hoping to find something that will help him with his work

When enter he was greeted cheerfuly by a little girl that was sitting in your desk, soon you came and greet him too, asking him how could you help him

You two spend a while talking about all kind of book, searching for something that could help him, sometimes getting interrupted by the little girl

After that he start finding problems to concentrate since he can't stop thinking about you, is just that you were so cute and so kind, Tesla ended making an excuse to go to bookstore to see you again

For a while he makes some excuses to go, but soon you two become friends and he didn't have to make excuses anymore

He was constantly helping you in your work, or when you were too busy he spend time with your daughter, teaching her some things or playing with her (is so cute to see)

And every time you shyly thank him with a little blush in your cheeks he feels like his chest is gonna explode for how fast his heartbeat is

You two start spending almost all your time together, whenever he wasn't working in his studies he was with you, and you start taking care of him too since he gets easily invested in his work, you start acting just like a family. You even invite him over your house sometimes, and he invited both to his study

One day he was in his way to your house as usual, you two already made plans to meet but when he gets there he can tell that something was off, all the lights were off and the door was slighly open

He was fearing that something happen to both of you, he was planing to call the police but first he need to find you. Carefuly he enter in the house, everything was a mess and that just scare him most but he quickly calm down and start searching you

Tesla heard soft sobs and he run to where were coming, as silent as he manage, then he find your daughter hidden, gently he gets her attention trying not to scare her more, but the moment she sees Telsa she just cry harder and hide in his arms, he hold her while trying to calm her down, comforting her

Her cries alert you, you were sure that you had already take care of all the bastards, still you follow the sound carefuly, seeing someone with your daughter makes you more angry, sneaking until you were behind his back ready to kill him, until you reconize his voice

You let fall your weapon out of surprise and fear, that alert him, holding the little girl protectivebly he turn around quickly but the only think he sees is you cover in blood with a fearful expresion

He quickly stand up, asking you what happen and look for posible injuries. After noticing the bodies he gets super confused, he doesn't understand whats happening, still he put his hand in your shoulder reassuring you, and with a smile he tell you that you should take care of it, he will wait until you finish for an explanation

While you change your clothes and take care of what happen he stay with your daughter until she falls sleep

After that he is expecting an explanation, but he won't judge, Tesla hears patiently all you have to say and wait until you finish your story to say something

This is something unexpected , but you still the same person he love so much, so he decided to trust you, to believe that you're not doing it for malicious intention, promising you to stay by your side and support you

He is really interested in knowing why you became an assassin and he is really impress with your skills too

You can be the best assassin ever and he still sees you as the sweet inocent person he met in the bookstore

Maybe he won't be able to help you as an assassin, but he could help you with other things, like helping you cover it whenever you have to go out to do your work and taking care of your daughter. He gets really worried about you, but believes in you

Jack the Ripper

Jack is someone who really likes to read, loves enjoying a good book with a cup of tea, so it wasn't strange for him visit a bookstore

Meeting you truly surprised him, it had being so long since he meet someone with such beautiful and bright colors, he gets mesmerize with the sweetness in your voice when greeting him, it actually take him a moment to answer you

He ended up spending all day in your bookstore, talking about everything and anything, he even gets to meet your daughter, and he became friends quickly with the young lady

He start going to the bookstore frecuentrly just to see the both of you, and he's not really shy so he won't have problem admiting that he actually wanted to see you

Jack help you with the work, attending the persons who came searching for a book, helping you keeping the place organizate

He is always giving you compliments rather cheesy and poetic that never fails to makes you blush, and to your daughter too (telling her how cute she is or praising her improvements in school)

Jack could pass hours with the cute young lady and never get bored, playing around, reading a book to her, drawing something or even help her fall sleep, for Jack those moments are like being in heaven

He really crave for your company, for him being with both of you is like a dream come true, he couldn't be happier. People is always praising you for the beautiful family you are (even if you two aren't together yet), and that flattered him, he swears that he is the happiest man alive

One day Jack was having a very bad feeling so he decided to visit you, just to make sure both were fine. Stoping first by the bookstore, it was supposed to be closed by that hour but he finds your daughter there, when he ask her about it she tell him that you asked her to run there and hide until you came for her, the bookstore was pretty secure so he tell her to wait there and he will go to see you, not without first making sure she was alright and safe there

Running to your house Jack was trying to calm himself down, he was fearing the worst! When he finally get to your house seeing the door slighly open just make him feel more uneasy, he was ready to rip apart the idiots who even dare to think to mess with you. Carefuly he sneak inside and toured the house looking for you, just by looking at the mess he could tell that there was been a fight

There was just one room with light and a person standing giving him the back, in the floor was several dead bodies, he decided to approach the person carefuly without even making a sound

There were you, finally relaxing a little since you already take care of everyone, you didn't feel Jack's presence until he was behind you, out of fear and anger you turn around quickly putting your weapon just inches away from his throat

It take a moment for both of you to complently understand the situation, your expression change to one shocked and covered in fear, the last person that you wanted they know about this part of you was standing in front of you

Seeing your expresion makes Jack panic, he feared to see that expresion on you, he never wanted to see you in such color. The tears starting to form in your eyes was what makes him get into his senses and reasure you that is okay, everything was fine now!

After pick your daughter and putting her to sleep Jack help you take care of everything, from fixing the house to taking care of the bastards, he could tell that you still feel really bad from him seeing you like this, so he take a moment to reasure you that you have nothing to fear, this not change anything for him, he still loves you

He is willing to reveal that his is an assassin too (without much details), he still fears of how you will react, but if that helps you feel better he will

He isn't expecting an explication or anything, but he will heard you if you want to talk about it. What he will makes sure to do is tell you that you don't have to worry, he can tell that you're still the person he fell in love with, so he isn't going to leave you, and neither will tell someone about this

He is fully supportive of your work, and will teach one thing or two. Whenever you have work to do he gets worried about you, not becouse he doesn't trust you but becouse he fear losing you, and when you come back he always greet you with a big hug (is comforting for him feeling you in his arms)

And he is ready to help you with everything you need, doesn't matter if is in the bookstore, taking care of your daughter or with your assassin work

Qin Shin Huang

He wasn't exactly interested in the bookstore, sure it was a pretty one, but what actually drag his attention to it it was the little girl that was playing outside, running around while you were cleaning, it remembered him when he was a child, when his teacher was with him

He decided to approach the both of you when the little girl greeted him, that picked your attention and when you realized who she was talking to you get all shy and blushy, that just make him more interested

In reality he was more interested in both of you more than the books, and for a while you two always ended up meeting by casuality, but soon he start looking for you, he even go to the bookstore store, saying that he wanted to see you

Qin is really energetic and carismatic so it didn't take long for him and your daughter become friends (even best friends), even if she was the shy type

And he even start craving your company, you quickly made your way to his heart, he just seems like he can't live without your sweetness and kindness anymore

In no time you get stucked with Qin, he is just really happy with both of you, he is always looking for passing time with the both of you, he even makes you take some free days so the three of you could hang out together, he have a lot of plans! (even before you two become a couple)

Wherever you go you always recive compliments of how you are a really beautiful family, and that makes Qin feel super proud

It was one day that Qin was hanging alone with your daughter since neither of them manage to convince you to go with them, you say that you had a lot of work but next it will be, when the night was starting to fall he decided that it was time to return to home

Getting close to the bookstore he notice how the door was slighly open even if there was no trace of you, getting worried Qin ask the little girl to wait for him, saying that he just need to check something, he promised that it would just take a moment

When he enter in the bookstore everything was a mess, there even was some blood, he start fearing the worst. He start walking around searching for you, he didn't bother for try to be careful or sneaky

You easily hear how someone else was enter in the store, you already took care of the people who tried to attack you, but there was the posibility of them having accomplices. Hidding next to the door and ready to attack was when Qin enter in the room, you reacted so quickly than you didn't even realice that it was actually him

Qin reacted quickly too, blocking your attack and both of you just stare at each other for a moment, he was trying to undestand what was happening, he didn't want to think that you, from all people, could try to attack him from behind

But those concerns were quickly erased as you take some steps back, letting your weapon fall and start apologizing, in your eyes even start forming some tears, your expresion change to one with such saddnes and shame that he even get worried, you didn't want him to see this part of you!

Then Qin take your face between his hands gently, making you look at him in the eyes and reasure you that he wasn't mad, and that everything is fine now

He make one of the servants take care of your daughter while he helped you, and after everything was in their place again you two talk about what happen

He carefuly heards your story, but at the end he reasures you that everything was fine, he still loves you and he wasn't planning to leave you anytime soon

He told you that if you become an assassin becouse you need it then you shouldn't be worried about that anymore, he can provide you with everything you need and want, but will support you if you want to continue with your work

He doesn't really bring the topic again just because he doesn't see a point to do it, everything continue like nothing really had happen, but the truth is that Qin is really interested in your work (he thinks that makes you just even more beautiful)

He even offer you to teach you some things about fighting

now sae had realized something off about you recently.

he was bothered by it but at first he decided to not ask you about it because maybe it was just for temporary.

but as time goes on, it wasn’t just for temporary. he wanted to know what wrong so bad but it wasn’t as easy because almost all the time he tried to approach you about it, you always manage to change the subject. you guys have been together for almost years, but he was so concerned on why you were behaving like this near him again as if he just started courting you.

he missed your touch, your embrace your warmth. as much as he does not want to admit it he missed it alot. even if he tried to hug you or even just simply touch your hand, you would pull away from him. he despise this action from you. just why in the world are you acting like this nowadays.

but as time pass on, he knew that he will be able to get his answer just that it wont be coming out from your mouth. one day as sae was scrolling on social media, he found a post that caught his attention only because the post was something about you and him.

it seems like whatever this person was saying was supposed to be directed to you. the post read “out of everyone sae had to chose that bitch..like c’mon there’s other fish in the sea!” and even the comments were agreeing with this said person saying how you don’t deserve him or saying that their better than her. sae scoffed at this. could this probably be the reason why you were behaving like this? its not safe to assumed so he decided to ask someone you trusted the most.

“no i’m not telling you anything,” right now sae was talking to a friend of yours. well it was the only person sae knew you had put so much trust into after all you’ve known eachother like siblings. “i know you yourself are worried about them, so if you cared then tell me,” sae wasn’t wrong. your friend themselves were worried about you so they sighed and gave in.

“yeah its about the post...and maybe also because they were cornered by others as well for the past few weeks..” now that was something sae was not expecting. sae nodded his head and the last thing he heard from your friend was, “you better make things right!”

sae was now home, he was waiting for you to enter the door and when you did lets just say he had you cornered so you couldn’t escape. “sae i have to cook dinner you know..” you tried to reason with him but he was unfortunately one step ahead. “no need i ordered take out.” before you could say another word, he beat you to it. “don’t even try to make up a silly excuse,”

you let out a breathe and lowered down your head lips trembling..sae immediately took notice of your action and pulled you into an embrace which surprised you “i know why you’ve been behaving like this and i don’t like it...so because of that i’ll say this once,”

“whoever has a problem with us can come fight me,” those words made you smile and let out a tear. “so if you could please stop acting like this..” he mumbled which made you laughed.

as you were eating, sae took the oportunity and made sure to remember to post that comment on the post. the comment says.

“if u got a problem with our relationship then come fight me because fyi they are much more better then you’ll ever be,”

Never going to write this, but the thought of a story of Robin not going along with Al-An and returning to human society and just her… trying to move on from that. She dosent really know what their relationship even was, and feels like shes probably just upset that she missed the oportunity to study an inteligent alien. And for some reason she feels compelled to start dating again, dispite not having wanted to since highschool. It dosent go very well. Oddly enough the more perceptive and understanding and… polite, a person is to her the less interested she feels. Every time she imagines Al-An in her mind going through this with her. Pretends he criticisez her dates habits and points out things that would make them a good or bad “monogamus mate” or something overly technical like that. Thats how she gets through most of these dates. Its pathetic she knows, but isnt about to stop.

And its in one of these dates, where teh other person is such a lowsy conversationslist, that she eventually begins to talk more to the imagined version of Al-An in her mind than the guy giving her two work answers. And its at a moment, where he takes to long to respond, but she cuts him off with the next question because in her head Al-An would have already responded, that she realizes that shes been on more of a date with an imaginary friend than with a person. Almost as if she wanted to-

She frantically excuses herself and rushes herself to the bathroom. She locks herself in a stall and covers her mouth to avoid whimpering as tears are already falling. Because it was at that moment that she had realized that all this time.

She had been in love with Al-An.

Six Poland costume thoughts

I got an ask on this right after the first Poland photos were posted but tumblr decided to eat it so here it goes. This is just me ranting about missing oportunities, a real costume breakdown will happen soon.

Many thoughts. Most of them arent great.

First of all. Credit where credit is due. The very base concept is really good actually. But after that to me everything went downhill.

Short version is. Fits are all over the place, design has way too many elements that copy the original costume design for it to feel original, and some elements are just not coherent.

Long version under the cut.

Conceptually the polish design is good. Stylized coats that are impractical as coats but look nice and fancy are not uncommon for pop stars. If you have those as a base element and change the cut, lenght and accesories it is a really smart way to dress a group in a cohesive way while still highlighting their personalities. It is the sort of thing you might see in a collab grammy performance. It is very smart for six. Problem is the execution.

If you saw the original polish designs those were all brown coats with very high couture looking skirts and pants in the queen's colors. Those seemed very impractical and looked more like a runway collection than stage costumes. Also if you saw them described as high fashion detectives, that's on me. I didn't hate them but don't think they were right either. The final costumes are reworked designs from those sketches.

Again the short coats concept is really good and I am kind of angry they didnt lean into that. Because many of the changes feel like they are trying to mirror the Gabriella Slade design. Aragon has big shoulders and an open skirt, boleyn has a big skirt in a shape no one else has and a B choker, Seymour has a less structured costume with a lot of soft, flowy fabric, howard has an open skirt, long sleeves and a choker, parr has a crop top pants and an open in the front element at the waist. Which production am I talking about? The replica production or poland? Sure polish costumes are not direct copies but there are way too many easy surface level comparisons to be made. Polish boots also look like something heavily inspired by the cleves boots. And it is the same with the set, reminds a lot of the original one. Its sad. Because all that tells me is that someone in the polish team didn't have enough confidence in making a new production that stands on its own. So they went with copying as many elements as possible without replicating, and basically saying to the audience "look we are the real thing".

Then you get the colors. While only the school license is available to read and the proffesional one definitely has different rules and conditions the dont copy the original design rule is probably there. But I think colors are excluded from it. They are too iconic to ban them. Would be like banning the use of hand held mics. But productions are likely encouraged to do their own colors and discouraged from only the original colors. The original design is black with the colors as secondary. A similar mix or using the original colors as highlights could work as a nod to the iconic design while still being original. Some things are inherent to shows even if they originated in a specific design. Think the phantom of the opera half mask, or the anastasia ballet blue dress. Those have a clear design origin, but are just way too iconic to not be part of the show. Poland using the original colors is not inherently bad, but when paired with a little too many elements that seem to come from the original design it starts feeling intentionally copied.

Thing is. Looking objectively a lot of things in the original design either come from the libretto or are easy interpretations of it. (Executed to perfection but not that deep). Problem is that there are many more easy interpretations that can be done.

Aragon is gold because of royalty and has a wider silhouette to give her a bigger presence. Fitting the longest reigning queen and the only to come from a royal background. But she could also be purple as that color was in some contexts reserved to royalty (hungary recently did gold and purple and if branding isnt purple then there is no problem with that), or red because that was the color of catholicism which is a big part of her story. She could have a very tailored and stilized silhouette to show she doesnt need anything flashy to show she is the queen, or pants instead of a skirt to show maturity and experience.

Boleyn is green because of the green sleeves line. She is also bold and fun and loud which shows in her costume. But there are a million shades of green. It is common to read her as younger and pastels and neon colors currently have simmilar associations, boleyn could be mint or aqua or neon green; she could also be wearing yellow (to a funeral). Also doesnt need to be a fitted top and big skirt, she could have shorts or a leotard or a tube skirt or a split skirt or loose pants, she could also have a crop top, or layers or a jacket on top. So many ways to interpret her personality. The B necklace comes from paintings of her so it is an obvious iconic detail, but there are many ways to interpret it aside from a choker. Name and initial necklaces come into fashion often so there are plenty of easily recognisable options.

Seymour is white because of the association to purity being the one to give birth to a male heir. Costume is less structured because she is characterized as softer or again pure. But she could also be in purple as she sees herself as the only one he truly loved so the true queen. Or in light blue or green (or any other light colors) to show her as the nice, approachable one. And while the soft fabric works she could have a structured costume without big elements to show her as more demure than the rest.

Cleves is red because of her holbein portrait and because red (plus black and yellow) is heavily featured in german heraldic shields. But she could be any bright, bold color or gold to follow the gold chains line.

Howard is pink as that is considered the most feminine color. And is characterised as young and flirty so she has a revealing, less grand costume. I do agree that pink is a smart choice (and the original costume is very much inspired in a specific era for arianna grande), but there are many shades of pink. Lighter shades are currently favored over bright magenta to show youth so that could work, but also lilac or any pastels. As for the costume, she could have a fitted skirt or shorts, or a less structured top. She is young, she is fun, there are many ways to show that without a corset and open skirt.

Parr gets blue (I think) to show she is mature and levelheaded. Pants are practical and associated with serious responsible people. Blue in any shade not just royal blue works great for the queen characterized as the quiet, observant one; but also grey and silver or darker shades of green. Pants are probably the best choice but a fitted skirt or looser pants can work great too.

Basically most elements in the replica production costumes are easily explained and it shouldn't be shocking to see some appear in other productions. They are not by far the only easy design or color associations that can be made for the queens. And that's what annoys me about the polish design, it has way too many things that quickly remind of the replica design to feel original. It lacks its own voice.

The way costumes fit should be mentioned too. Boleyn and Cleves are great fits and very flattering, just lack some structure. Aragon and Howard have fit problems (around the shoulders for Aragon and the chest for Howard) and also lack structure. Parr feels unfinished. Seymour feels unfinished and is ill fitting on both of them. Its just all over the place.

Fabrics too. There is no cohesion between the queens aside from they all have a lot of texture. Things don't need to be identical but an element in common all accross the board makes different designs look lile a set. And don't get me started on the sequin skirts/trains. The more I look at photos, the more unfinished and unlined sequin fabric I see and the more I want to fight someone. Most of the sequin elements look like an afterthought and make well crafted costumes look cheap tbh.

But before anyone says I am only being negative there are some cool things in the Polish production I truly like. I've said it multiple times already but the short coats customized to everyone concept is really cool and I love it. Hairstyles are simple but great and I love the way they are customized to each actress. Rhinestone headbands as crowns is an amazing idea and a really smart way to tie them all together. The cloaks they wear at one point are a little shocking but it is a bold new take I really appreciate. The black and white corsets with ruffs for HoH are really cool and the way they make the queens look anonymous adds a great layer to the scene (even if the corset style is off by a few centuries).

As for specifics.

Boleyn and Cleves are the highlights for me. Boleyn in a half leather jacket over a dress is a stunning look, the dress fabric has a slight texture that balances out the metallic leather perfectly and the addition of low key bracelets finishes the look in a really nice way. I just dont like the choker, it feels a little too big and out of place with the rest. Both hairstyles are original feel like Boleyn in the show. Honestly it gives me older fashion influencer which is a great parallel to the way Boleyn is written in the show and some element of the real life queen's life too. My only complaint is that there is nothing connecting this design with the rest.

While I don't like the fabrics in this one; Cleves in a sleeveless coat and crazy pants feels bold and fresh and works great for the foreign queen who ended living a life of luxury. But the true highlight of the entire show is the oversized puffer coat she wears (I think) for get down. It is an iconic hip hop look and fits perfectly with the song while solving the issue of not having time for a quick change bwtween HoH and GD.

Aragon and Howard are my middle ground. Conceptually good but not on execution. Aragon in a tailored coat is great, but the color makes them look washed out and the skirt feels dissconnected from the rest. Both hairstyles are great though. It feels like TV characters having perfect hair under any circumstances and passing it off as natural, that energy feels right for Aragon.

The base dress with armsleeves for Howard is fun and youthful but the ruffled shoulderpieces and peplum feel out of place (if something was trendy when I was in middle school its definitely not howard in 2023) and the skirt feels like something added last minute. Also in a show that threw in all the textured fabrics this dress desperately needs more texture.

Seymour and Parr are the ones I dont like. Seymour in a stylized cowl neck is good, but the fabric reads really bad in stage lights and makes them look washed out. The all draped fabric look doesnt mesh with the rest of the costumes either. It feels like someone said "nice coat now add something drapey to make her look soft". And honestly shame on any costume studio that gives the plus size actress the worst fitted costume.

I don't like Parr. The top being a minimalistic coat is really cool and the hairstyle might be my favorite. But everything else looks unfinished, pieces feel flat and dissconnected. The whole costume feels underwhelming compared to the rest. And fabrics don't match with each other and stagelights make them look flat.

I know non-replica costumes in musicals can be underwhelming and dissapointing; but they can also be beautiful and interesting. Saddly the polish costumes fall in the first category which sucks actually. I want to see new original takes, six doesn't need to be a specific time period or style it just needs to give pop star. The possibilities are endless.

am i the only one who feels like alex(the world ender guy) was kind of a missed oportunity in vide noir? like, he was set up by johnnie to be a badass gang leader just for him to never even appear in the end, we just got a close up to his face scar

i feel like buck's encounter with the psychic would've been way more powerful if it was alex instead. its implied that johnnie and moonbeam had a relationship ig, but its barely even hinted at, and he never even mentions her. but with johnnie and alex, johnnie actually mentions him and speaks highly of his brother, and says alex will help buck if he sees the red cloth that belonged to johnnie

the fact that all that build up led to buck not even TALKING to alex kinda irks me. imagine how much better the payoff would be if alex had received the cloth instead of moonbeam? if we had seen his reaction to johnnie's death? if he would've helped buck like johnnie said he would? if we saw what johnnie implied alex would do to the guys who black brained his brother? idk man i think we were robbed

No I gotta agree on that. Like I LOVED seeing Moonbeam and getting know her as her and having all this new information about her (her being part of the World Enders is still wild to me and I love it) and it’s a good scene and all, but I’m still confused as to why they built up Alex so much, especially since this is the first time we’re hearing about him, and he never even got the chance to speak. If it were Dale I’d be a bit more understanding as we know him already (tho not by much cause I would have loved to see more of Dale). But it’s Alex, whose not only the leader of the World Enders but also Johnnie’s (and Dale’s) brother. I would’ve have loved to, you know, actually meet the guy. Especially with how much build up he got. And I GET IT Lord Huron’s lore is meant to be weird and vague and hard to pin down but like. Didn’t need to tease me like that come on

The only reason I could think of was maybe they needed to get Buck on his own again? Like having this the beginning of a war between the World Enders and Z’Oieasu shown or having Buck work with them consistently might have thrown off the tone. It is supposed to be Buck’s story and his own descent into madness. The whole album has this isolated vibe to me, like being alone in a city of people Hard to get that when there’s other people around, especially a group as lively as the world enders. Or maybe they just wanted to include Moonbeam back into the story again lol

GOD I would have loved to see Moonbeam’s scene with Buck done with Alex. I can only imagine how that scene would’ve played out and his reaction to Johnnie’s death. Contrasting Buck’s scene with Johnnie with Alex’s own personality, the possible dynamics, the anger and grief that could arise…..ough

Met the Sai of Four For the Price of One! His an snake an atheris hispida to be precise.

He is usually always mad or anoyed by something for more little that something is,his temperament is unstable and usually explosive.

The only one that can make this angry and spiky snake calm is eco his lil sister do to her calming atribute.

He is a guard irken at the entry of the quarantine stacion delta checking on every single irken that enters or goes out that is not a worker in the stacion.

Still he has agresive manners of asking thing complimented by his strong and rought accent and his harsh and loud voice.

He has a certain phobia towards felines and birds being the exepcion honey since it is a completly inofensive and docile creature.

Snakes dont have eye lids while irkens do but instead of removing his eye lids they replace a secondarie eye lid that is esential on irkens.

Cause of that making his eyes sensible to bright light or prone to infections for dust going into them or just having dry eyes almost every time adding a reason for him being mad anytime.

He has a decent relation with his brothers while a complete agresivly hateful one towards his father,but a loving one towards their forever young mother.

Still his relation with mis(the oldest of the 5 brothers being sai the middle child) is agresive and conflictive,they are usually always fighting over something.

They both are strong headed stubborn bastards that have a pride as big as the space itself none will ever admid if one is wrong or not(even when mis usually has the reason)

So before saying sorry or talk normaly they fight each other instead,kira usually finds it entretaining,eco worries for them and take feels ashamed by their behaiviour.

Sai's poison is actualy mortal if not treated being a neurotoxical poison that can produce serious issues including internal bleedings.

Mis once was bitten during one of theirs fights,things gone wrong leaving mis in the hospital for 3 days and since then sai made an internal vote of never bitting someone again unless necesary.

The scar in his face happend in the academy in a training sesion that went a little wrong and ended with that scar acros his face and his missing cut antenae tip is a mistery.

He can be cataloged as just an angry an sassy bitch with an explosive personality and the stuborness of a mule.

But at the same time with a big heart an love for his family or those he care about,hiden deep inside his soul but still present.

He usually makes hissing noices or enlongs the "s" when talking as an unconciuos reflect,as he does blep his tounge like an actual snake would.

His poison can be stracted and used for making medicines or antidotes,more likely every irken does he sheds his skin but the proces is more snake stile sheding.

Fun fact:he is a fight maniac and if given the oportunity he will fight even an adult xeltrian bare handed and probably will win since its rare he dosen't win the battle he is in.

During the cold season as well as his brother take and his sister eco,he uses mis as a living heater afther all the three of them hate dislike the cold and as a cold blooded being he is unable to generate self heat so its even worse.

Ironicaly during warm season mis uses him as a cooler since his body is as cold as a freezer at this epoch and refreshes the poor overheated bee during the "summer".

the tv scenes were such a missed oportunity they couldve shown the immortal and the restless... i kept waiting for it :(

i’ve been working on a restaurant for the past two months and it has worked ⭐ miracles ⭐ for my mental health. Im guessing its because its given me the opportunity to actually do stuff and grow my confidence, seeing how I’m able to acomplish various tasks, and get an objective reward: money.

Ive also learnt how the wonderful thing that is to be profesional, and that has been *chefs kiss* for my anxiety/RSD/self-esteem, because if I, p.e, fuck up an order, its literally worhless for me to keep moping over it and just feel bad about it for days. It will just drain my energy and make the rest of the workday worse. Instead, what I am supposed to do is to apologize and keep swimming. Because its not a fault of me as a person, its a skill i’m perfecting. Thats what being profesional means to me. Im not saying I should ignore my feelings, or just “suck it up” because that has never worked, im saying i can now see it in an objective way, something i had never been able to do before because i hadnt had the oportunity. And on the same line, if a coworker does something that would usually trigger my RSD, its not because I am a worthless human being, its because we are working. My bartending teacher told me thats its common in kitchens to ask for stuff and not to say “please” or “thank you”, or to have coworkers tell you to move out of the way in ways that could be rude, but its not to be rude; its never in bad faith; its because you have to be quick (and of course, if you got hurt, you can talk to your coworkers later).

The second thing ive learnt is to fully separate what are my responsabilities and what are not. Because I’m working, im doing a service to both the people who come eat at the restaurant and to my boss. This is not a favor, its 100% transactional. If a client doesnt likes their food, tells me that, and doesnt leave a tip, thats their fucking business. Its not my food, Im following the cookbook my supervisor provided, and this isnt a fancy restaurant in the rich part of the city: ive had clients complain like this was the fucking Ritz; it is not, if you want a better service/food, go to the fancy side of town and pay the corresponding price for it. If my boss tries not to pay me my hours, I am on my full right to demand i get my whole salary and to keep pestering her until the deal is fair. She may heve her own personal issues, but thats not my fucking problem. I do not owe the company nothing. If I do owe anything, its to treat my coworkers with respect, because they are with me every single day, they protect me and i protect them. And in this case, its not even a matter of owing here, its they they are my “siblings in arms” and i want to treat them in the best way possible.

The third thing ive learnt is how to manage my stress in a better way. Lets say i have a table, im making their food, and two more tables come in. I have to take their orders, set their tables, make their food, get whatever im missing from the storage, keep the dishes clean enough so i dont loose time washing them, etc. And that does makes my heart race and the fawn/freeze response start to set in. BUT i know what i have to do and how to to it: i just need a few seconds so the list of things to do gets organized in my brain. Its like in videogames: i visualize as a list of tasks that gets arranged according to time and complexity. What do I need, what am i missing, what can i do while I wait? If the burgers take five minutes to be done, I can set the tables and prepare the rest of what the burgers have while I wait, and after that is done and served so it doesnt get cold, i can throw the dirty dishes in the sink, squirt some dish soap and water on them, and rush to the storage to get what i need, and come back to get the table’s check. So, if i know what to do, how long does it takes, how to optimize everything, i have 0 reasons to get stressed.

The pay may be shit,and my boss is a shady af individual, but im happy i landed this job. Ive gotten the skills i have missed, and i will use them on my next jobs, and most importantly, in my life.

i’m never ganna stop crying about the fact that becuase eda never taught king to call her mom litterally everytime he just calls her her name it has the same meaning, like at least at first he probably learned her name through other people calling her it, and then her calling herself that, so little baby king was just like “:] yeah that’s eda” with the same weight as “:] yeah that’s my mom” becuase thats how kids work, to him eda is just interchangable with mom, becuase eda is his mom, and his mom’s name is eda.

and that is what she is to him, she raised him, she always looked out for him, she always protected him, she even managed to get a human to help her out when king lost his burgerqueen crown, becuase it mattered to king, so she did everything she could to get it back.

she is his mom, she just doesnt call herself it, so king never calls her it. also even once he realizes ‘yes he once had a biological parent’ he only even considers his dad, he doesnt even acknowledge that he probably had a mom too, becuase in his mind, that role’s taken already.

like shes literally just his mom, she raised him since he was a hatchling, she always took care of him, she even had one of those ‘becuase i said so’ moments in season 1 with him acting like a son would, groaning and pouting before going along with it anyways also i know this is already probably pretty well known becuase he literally changed his name to king clawthorn which from the scene has the weight of adoption.

but still, everytime he calls eda ‘eda’ its the same as him calling her ‘mom’ and that is making me emotional.

is it that danes are quite shut off and indifferent, comfortable with their familiarities, or that i am just depraved of intimacy and inside jokes. i miss people. who am i now without my friends? seemingly a loser. whats it like to be the popular girl thrown to a new school. what movie have they created of that? i am so grateful to be given the oportunity to reinvent myself, though was i even invented in the first place? a little. though still i hold myself back. now that i lack tethers of people i should- i actually still have tethers of people. or am i holding onto invisible strings as i am afraid to do the things ive dreamt. whats it like to fulfil my goals? theyve most always been reserved as hopes. perhaps i will always plateau in my achievements. i was not destined to be great. thats okay. i hope through my insignificance i can be silly and ignorant to bigger things. the beautiful explosive expanse of microbiology.

i am jealous of their familiarity. i wish them to take pity upon me and swoop me under their arms. but no i am a pathetic adult who needs to get their life together. life before it starts. i feel as though theyre still caught up in a highschool world. they are though. theyre literally in highschool. hm. i guess i should focus more on meeting older people. its hard because like,, why arent you established? there could be a lot of reasons, some sketchy. im being silly though. im glad writing helps as an outlet. i can think more clearly. its soothing to type or to scribble. thoughts thoughts thoughts... perhaps i should reread my old writing to reflect upon. for a while i was frustrated in seeing little change of my mindset. i think im still processing where im at. im always tardy in my realizations. i guess its often i just dont know what im feeling in the moment. i think i used to get frustrated about that. i dont remember exactly. i think now im starting to embrace moments more for what they are. less and less getting caught up in labels. i dont need words for things. who am i to express them to even?? the nuance of emotions are casual now. like in the movies when the old lumberjack or sailor meets a woman to live symbiotically with. they dont really know what either has gone through but here they are sharing the same needs. in silence. agreed silence. shared silence.

with whatever is going on here, i need to keep kindness and patience in mind.

Im going off this post, but making a new post since i feel like the point of that one was more the excitment of getting to see what the dsmp narrative will be like in the hands of Wilbur Soot writing in a more traditional medium.

But the differences in medium and particularly how much they "ask" of the veiwer is something that deeply fascinates me.

There's a concept in comic art that what happens in the "gutter", the space between panels is vitally important, almost as important as what you actually put in those panels. Its the space that exists in tension between the information of the previous and next panels, and its important to consider the flow of that information and if it makes sense or not. But its also a place for the reader to fill in the "missing" action. Like creating inbetweens in animation. There is also the lack of sounds, and often color, in a comic. While these things could be considered to be lacking, its also an oportunity for the veiwer to bring their own spin to the story. The "sceans" the veiwer creates in their head are what finish the story. Ahh, it all gets kinda philosophical about the relationship between the veiwer and and creator and how the work is a medium for "conversation" between creator and veiwer. Its difficult for me to explain in words because i am not a philosopher, but its beautiful to think about.

Im talking about comics because thats the medium I've studied and thought about the most. But this doesnt just apply to comics or minecraft rp. It arguably applies the most to prose, since it lacks all sense information except what is discribed to the reader, which is then filtered through that reader's experiences and personal interpretation of words. I think the the closest comparison to the dsmp, in terms of the level of sensory information presented, is something like a fiction or roleplay podcast. But those tend to be more focused. And i also think theres a LOT that can be said about how minecraft mechanics and gameplay do affect the baseline story of the dsmp. Stuff like the importance of places/buildings and instances of very direct and powerful environmental story telling are my favorite. But stuff like the importance of the discs is also an example that comes to mind. And the structure of the narritive being almost compleatly character driven from multiple perspectives is something that comes directly from the fact that its livestreamed from multiple different perspectives. I also think theres a lot to be said (and i will, Someday) about how the narrative structure of the dsmp has ended up mirroring some of the best/most medium specific stories in single player video games themself. It highlights that video games, even those that "dont have a story" like minecraft, have a narrative style that emerges naturally because of the nature of the medium.

In some ways i think a lot more of the dsmp's inaccessibility is more down to the non-centered nature of the story (making it difficult to properly summarize to an outsider), the fact that the livestreams tend to be between 1 and 4 hours (lots of people just dont have that kinda time), and the idea that minecraft is a cringe babby game for losers. (I also think all of those factors have specific appeal to them as well) I dont know how true this is, but i feel like to be into dsmp you have be at least a little on-board with the idea of watching a livestream of some dude playing a video game, story or no, which is an activity that a lot of people veiw as like... inherently cringe/"problematic".

There's more factors to it than just these ideas, but i do think this "lacking" nature of the medium has played a very big part in the size and devotion of the dsmp fandom. If you're a creative type, stories where there's room to make and show your own interpretation are a special kind of catnip.

a/n: this is my first post and is honestly such a mess, I didn't even know what I was writing half of the time but I really liked the result so here ya go!!

ㅤㅤㅤy/n had always loved hogsmeade, especially in snowy times, there was something about the town that used to made her very happy and excited about the days they were allowed to visit the place. However, that saturday morning she wasn't as thrilled about the trip as always, and she was even willing to stay at bed all day while her friends went to have fun.

“cmon, you never miss an oportunity to go to hogsmeade” pleaded james while the girl covered herself with blankets up to the neck

“y'know what they say, there's always a first time for everything” she shrugged.

“is this about remus?” potter ventured to ask, making the girl freeze in her spot.

“what about remus?” she asked back, trying to act nonchalantly, the boy raised his eyebrowns at her in pure disbelief.

“I know that you know that he has a date, y/n/n” he said cautiously, waiting to see the reaction of his best friend, who hid further under the sheets as a response

"really? didn't know, guess people find out new things every day huh” she kept acting like she didn't know, like that wasn't the reason she was in bed at two in the afternoon, but she was a pretty bad liar and the way james knew her, probably better than anyone, didn't help at all

“listen to me y/n, I know that you fancy him and I know it's been like this for a while but this is probably for the better” james sighned, sitting on the edge of his bed, where she was laying with the covers covering most of her face “I love moony, and i'm very happy for him, but you deserve more than being sad in bed for someone that doesn't see how amazing you are”

y/n poked her head out of the covers, a very little smile crossing her face as she extended her arms towards james who quickly understood and took her in his own arms, hugging her and stroking her tousled hair with a smile. she felt safe, she always felt safe being with james, as if her worries were silly and there was nothing in the world that could hurt her.

“I still don't want to go to hogsmeade” she mumbled, her face hiding in the crook of his neck “I appreciate what you're doing for me, really, but I just want to sleep and forget about all this, just for today”

“then I'll stay with you” james replied, laying down and dragging y/n with him, determined not to let her go.

“but you should go, you deserve some fun and peter and sirius are waiting for you, you guys probably had a lot of plans for today.” she babbled, shoking her head.

“I'm pretty sure they can survive a few hours without me” james insisted and y/n knew he wasn't going to give up.

“can they? 'cause I bet sirius would die after fifteen minutes without you” she said jokingly, closing her eyes with a smile peeking out of her face as she heard james laughing

“he can figure how to survive just for today, I'm not gonna leave you alone drowning in your own misery” he joked, but the determination was clear in his voice.

y/n didn't bother to reply, knowing he would keep insisting, James Potter was for sure stubborn as hell and once he had proposed something, it was impossible to get the idea out of his head. So she sighned and, without talking more, she made herself comfortable in his arms, her eyes still closed as the world began to disappear around her and a feeling of peace started settling in her chest as the minutes passed slowly.

“shut up, you're gonna wake them up" sirius' voice flooded y/n's ears, followed by the sound of a door being opened

"no need, you already did" replied peter watching at the bed where his two friends were laying.

indeed, y/n began to slowly open her eyes while letting out a small yawn but remus was too frozen in his place to even react to that, a very strange feeling hitting his stomach as his head replayed over and over the scene his own eyes had witnessed seconds before; y/n laying on top of James, her face hidden in his chest while the boy hugged her around the waist, both of them fast asleep over the messy sheets.

“hey guys, how was hogsmeade?” she said, releasing herself from james's grasp to sit next to him, a tired smile crossing her face as she watched the other three marauders.

“it was pretty boring withou-” peter's sentence was left unfinished and the words lost in the air as remus spoke above him.

“we spend the whole afternoon looking for you two” he looked angry and y/n's tiredness disappeared quickly, being remplaced with surprise at the actitude of the boy.

“the hell's happening?” muttered james, his voice sounding sleepy as he narrowed his eyes at his friends

“we can ask you the same question" replied remus bitterly “did you even think how bloody worried we were?”

“moony what the fuck, It wasn't a big deal, we just fell asleep.” james was still half asleep, maybe too much to deal with the situation.

“you know what, prongs? I just remembered we bought a bunch of stuff from zonko's” sirius was fast to intervene, walking towards potter's bed “why don't we go watch it? I thought we could think of some way to use them”

before james could even respond, sirius lifted him completely out of bed and dragged him to the door, james tripping over his own feet while trying to walk on his own as peter didn't waste time following them. y/n got up too, with the intention of following them but sirius quickly closed the door before she could even get to it.

she understood the message very clear, exhaling before she turned to look at the only boy left; remus put his hands to his own face to hide behind them, letting out an exasperated sigh. the girl approached him quietly without saying anything, the two of them falling in a silence for some very long minutes.

“what happened to you?” she hesitated before asking, eyeing him with discretion.

“do you like him?” the answer was obviusly not expected by y/n, who seemed to have been taken by surprise “I mean james, do you like him?”

“what are you talking about?” she laugned with disbelief, but when she saw how serious remus was, she sighed “of course not”

“it's you who I like, prat” she wanted to tell him, but she bit her tongue just in time not to let go of anything that she would regret later, falling silent as she watched remus nooding slowly with his head.

“why do you care anyway” she questioned instead, crossing her arms under her chest.

“you two are my best friends, of course I care” y/n felt the disappointment roll her stomach at the answer. That was not the answer she was expecting.

“how was your date?” she quickly changed the subject, even though a part of her didn't want to know the answer.

“oh great, yeah, she's great” He rambled on, glancing at y / n sideways before speaking again “but...”

“but...” she encouraged, biting her lower lip while looking at the floor.

“but...” remus hesitated, scratching the back of his neck as a million thoughts ran through his head “she was great but she wasn't you”

she quickly raised her head, allowing remus a view of her tear-filled eyes but she didn't care about that, her biggest concern was the way her heart was starting to beat fast, almost as if it was treatening to jump off her chest in any moment.

“what do you mean?” she gulped, feeling a lump in her throat that didn't allow her to fully form the words.

“she was talking about all those things and she was really interesting you know? or so I thought, because I wasn't really paying attention” he admitted, shutting his eyes for a minute “I wasn't paying attention 'cause the only thing I could think about was that she wasn't you”

y/n had always liked remus, and she really didn't think anyone could blame her for it, was there really something not to like? Remus was pretty, kind and incredibly charming, he was a great friend, extremely smart and responsible when it was necessary but at the same time he could be so much fun when he was around the people he felt comfortable with. if anyone thought about the perfect human prototype, then the closest thing to that would have to be remus lupin.

so being there in that exact moment, standing in front of him after hearing what he had to say, she felt all the words get stuck in her throat as she locked eyes with him.

“it just wasn't what I thought it was supposed to be” he continued, feeling nervous as the time passed and there was no response from her “I expected her to be like... you.”

she had dreamed of situations similar to that for so long, she had waited for something like that for years and now that she had remus telling her all that, looking completely serious, she didn't know how to respond and that made her feel slightly frustrated, because she could see the desperation growing in lupin's eyes as time passed.

“I just want you to know that I don't expect you to feel the same, but I just can't keep it all to myself anymore” he kept babbling and was only interrumpted when y/n finally reacted.

and she did the only thing that crossed her mind, approaching him and pulling him by the collar of his shirt to bring their lips together in a kiss that caught remus off guard and he only reacted seconds later, realizing that everything was real and not just a product of his imagination; his shoulders relaxing as he raised one of his hands to her chin, the other hand resting on her waist. Their lips danced together for a few seconds, fitting perfectly, almost as if they were made for each other and everything around them disappeared, the world stopping its course during that moment.

“I don't like james” she repeated, as she had done minutes before, her breathing was agitated as she rested her forehead on his “I don't like him because I like you, you idiot”

remus smile grew while he leaned to give her a little peek on the lips, only to be interrumpted by a sniff coming from the entry of the room, the two of them quickly pulling apart to put their glances towards the place, only to find three people standing right there, each one with the same smile on their faces.

“well aren't you two adorable?” teased sirius, with a grin on his face.

“you guys seriously don't know boundaries, do you?" y/n asked, only realizing her mistake once she saw sirius smiling even more.

“we siriusly don't”

Oikawa Toru

-Okay so he is obsessed with tik tok....and his proposal kinda made it on tik tok.

-Its a nice cutesy proposal I swear he’s just overly proud of himself.

-You had just moved in with him in Argentina.

-Somehow you managed to get a job in your field in the town next to his place so when you told him that well you were moving to Argentina he didn’t hesitate to ask you to move in with him.

-He misses you way too much, the distance makes it hard for him to feel your comfort.

-He would never dream of breaking up with you; he would make it work even if it killed him.

-So it’s been a month and a half of living together and he is in heaven.

-He knew that he wanted to marry you for some time now.

-Since that moment at the airport the day he was leaving.

-Iwaizumi was there along side Matsu and Hanamaki.

-The three dumbasses were bawling their eyes out while you were semi chocking him.

- “Call me when you land okay? I wanna know how jet lagged you feel.”

-The sad smile on your face was enough to make him spill them tears, a sad smile of his own taking its seat on his face.

- “You’ll make fun of me again.”

- “It’s part of my duties as your girlfriend you beautiful dumbass.”

-And right there with you hands on either of his cheeks and tears in your eyes he knew that he would wife you up.

-Now he has been planning this for some time.

-He went all the way to California to find Iwa so they could pick a ring together.

-Both of them needed a ring but anyways.

-After obtaining the ring....he hid it for a few weeks.

-He would wake up everyday ten minutes earlier than usual and just ask you to marry him while you were still asleep.

-Once he was satisfied with the amount of times he has said it he gets up and is out the door.

-He took you to meet his team.

-he wanted to do it then but he chickened out.

-So what does he do?

-He sulks on tik tok.

-Until he comes across a video of a girl stepping into the shower with her boyfriend and pretends that she wants to ask him something important.

-Of course that was a very dumb way to ask you something so big but he got an adrenaline jump and five minutes of dumb courage.

-He sets up his phone right outside the shower curtain and just walks in with you.

- “Hi?!”

- “Hi”

-*giggles* “Can I help you mister?”

-And here is where things take a turn because doubts start to make their way into his head and his palms are getting sweaty-

- “Toru love are you alright?”

- “Marry me.”

-The video went viral, the squad clowned him until your first child was born and your kids laugh with the story till this day.

Iwaizumi Hajime

-Unlike his best friend he took this wayyyy to chill.

-It popped up in his head one night before one of your visits.

-His roommate had asked him why he stayed in a long distance relationship.

- “Is she really so worth it man? You could have a chick in your bed every night and not wait for her visits every three months.”

- “You cannot imagine how worth it she is.”

- “You sound like you wanna marry her dude.”

-And from that point on he couldn’t get it out of his head.

-Sure he had imagined your future before.

-The house you’ll have and where he would like to go on your honeymoon, what your kids might look like and what kind of mom you would be.

-But all of it was pure speculation.

-He just wanted to see how it would feel to be so domestic.

-So here he is almost a whole year after that night, choosing a ring along side Oikawa.

-This dumbass had taken the decision to get married too quickly and had called Iwa very VERY panicky and in need of some comfort.

-They both picked their respective rings and hid the velvety boxes deep in their pockets, the two best friends saying their goodbyes and heading off to their missions.

-Now Iwa wanted this to be as lass forced and too thought out as possible.

-He believes that these things are best done in privacy and only netween the two partners.

-So he doesn’t plan anything out.

-He waits for the moment when it feels right.

-And that’s why it took him over a year to actually ask you.

-Of course it wasn’t such an improptu move like Oikawas’, he was a little less tik tok-y???

-You had ordered tak out and were eating in your shared apartment.

-After graduation you got transferred to the USA and were placed near Iwa so now just like Oikawa you lived together.

-It has been a nice calm year of just domesticated fluff.

-You were telling him about your day, how one of your co-workers ate your boss’s pretchel and they flipped.

-Or how you saw a dog dressed as a hotdog right next to a hotdog stand.

-And that’s when he just drops the bomb.

-He has been keeping the small velevt box in his pocket ever since he bought it.

-Wordlessly standing up he makes his way to your side of the table and drops to one knee.

- “I’m pretty sure you know already that I believe you are my soulmate. My other half and I couldn’t begin to imagine my life without you in it. Not even a month without you. That being said, it would make me the happiest man in the world if you would give me the honor of calling you Ms. Iwaizumi. For the rest of our lives; until we are old and wrinkly with our family running around us. Y/N L/N, will you marry me?”

-You were crying at this point, nodding your head since the moment he called you his other half.

-Of course you said yes and some bomb sex followed.

-Oikawa and his now wife, were so happy to hear that Iwa finally gathered the courage to ask you.

Kuroo Tetsuro

-Baby!!!!

-He may be nasty but he is my og husband.

-Actually my second og husband.

-The first one is Akaashi.

-He bought the ring the same day he decided to ask you.

-He had been in a meeting and he was bored out of his mind so he texted you.

-You two started off by making fun of each other and ended up playing one of those dumb facebook games.

-He was letting out small giggles here and there which mind you were barely audible but the guy next to him heard them alrtight.

- “Talking with the missus eh?”

-Kuroo couldn’t control himself when he answered.

- “Yeah.”

-His coworker let out a chuckle at the sight of Kuroo’s face of surprise at his own words.

- “It was about time you wifed her. You two are so in love it almost makes me jealous.”

- “Jealous that you don’t have a beating heart Kai?”

-He got slapped....moving on.

-So with that he called you once the meeting was over and informed you of his plans for tonight.

- “Get dressed baby I’m taking you out for dinner tonight.”

- “What’s the occassion mister?”

- “It’s something special. Be ready by 9 I’ll pick you up from our apartment. Oh and could you please wear that gorgeous red dress of yours?”

- “The satin one? The one I can’t wear a bra with?”

- “You without a bra is just a bonus baby.”

- “You are a horny idiot Tetsu.”

-Now he was out on a mission.

-The mission of the ring.

-So he needed to call on the fellowship.

-Thirty minutes later Kenma, Yaku and Daichi were waiting for him at the local Starbucks.

-Alas the fellowship of the ring.

-These four idiots could barely agree on a single thing.

-Gave the shopkeepers a headache.

-But finally FINALLY they decided on one.

-Patting their friend on the back they were off, hoping that you would say yes.

-Apart from Kenma who prayed to the rain gods that you finally open your eyes and see what you are dating.

-While at the restaurant he was quieter than usual.

-He would let you talk and talk and talk about everything and anything with giving you only small nods or hums.

-He was so caught up in his head that he couldn’t see th worry in your eyes.

- “Tetsu, is everything okay? “

-And there was his oportunity.

- “Actually something is kinda bothering me and you are the only one who can help.”

-He slowly got up and made his way to your side.

- “You remember a few months back when you joked about us getting married? Or that other time when you said that I would make a great dad? Well I guess tonight will determine all of that.”

-He kneeled down and opened the small box rubbing your knee with his other hand.

- “Y/N L/N will you help me make those dreams reality?”

-Kenma disapproves.
