Nature is watching you
It had been days since the Justice League had begun fighting the most powerful entities they had ever seen. Days since the earth itself had been against them.
It all began when the weather changed from one second to the next: Heavy storms in Metropolis, hail in Gotham, blizzards in Central City. Then carnivorous plants grew at every point on earth (and it wasn't Poison Ivy, they checked), by which point it was obvious that a larger force was to blame.
John Constantine identified them as "Vortex" and "Undergrowth", though he couldn't quite explain what they were, however he warned them not to confront them, letting them get bored would be the safest thing to do (the man looked uncharacteristically pale as he commented the last part). The League did not listen to him, worried about civilian casualties and confronted both beings anyway, they had fought Gods, surely it wouldn't be different.
It became clear that they made the wrong decision when they noticed most of their members were incapacitated or injured after a couple of days, and the beings had not been harmed in the least. Vortex laughed as Undergrowth looked at them, disgusted.
Their last confrontation was in Gotham so it was no surprise that Nightwing and Red Hood continued to evacuate civilians to a safer location. Jason noticed the moment when one of the civilians ran the other way decisively, the vigilante sighed as he indicated Nightwing that he would go after him. His brother nodded before Red Hood chased after the stupidly brave black-haired, blue-eyed boy, damn, he hoped Bruce didn't see him.
Unfortunately, he was just in time to see him run over to where the League was and stand in front of the two enemies, it was obvious the heroes were trying to push him away but they were either too hurt to move or didn't notice. Jason was about to yell at him to get out of the way when the boy spoke.
"STOP!"
The boy was clearly frustrated, and his face wore an annoyed expression. Jason noted the moment when the rest of the heroes noticed the boy standing in the middle of the battlefield. Supes had a devastated expression on his face.
Jason ran to the boy (who was strangely fast), he didn't know who he was but he would hate to see him die. He wondered if it was too late when both beings noticed him. They seemed strangely frightened? Jason guessed it was a trick of their eyes.
The battlefield was suddenly silent. It seemed like everyone was holding their breath, waiting for something to happen.
"I told you to stop" the black haired boy spoke again, his voice echoed in the silence, annoyance could still be heard in his tone. It was obvious he wasn't afraid. Without the heroes noticing, the plants and clouds stopped moving.
Quickly coming to his senses and noticing something, Superman shouted a warning as he looked at the hand of one of the beings pointing at the frail boy in front of him. He looked at Red Hood, who was running towards the scene but wouldn't make it in time, before looking at his own body, too damaged to move.
Contrary to what everyone expected, both beings lowered their heads, clasping their hands nervously, as if they weren't sure if they should kneel.
At the end, they lowered their heads in front of the boy in submission, looking defeated and strangely embarrassed.
"Sorry, my King" both said.
Danny snorted as he folded his arms. Jason, who had made his way over to where the halfa stood, looked at the three confused, what the fuck?

Your bitch is watching the second season of Blood of Zeus and lemme tell you, I don't like it. At least the very first 10 minutes. As I did previously, imma put here all of my thoughts regarding each episode as I watch, so beware of MASSIVE SPOILERS.
Also, small disclaimer: I'm not a professional writer, nor a movie critic. So everything here is my pure humble opinion so if you don't like it - don't read it.
So without further ado:
Episode 1:
Gods, it's been 10 minutes and half of the visuals (if not more) are just parts of the final episode of the first season. And also the plot didn't really moved past the point "yeah, Hades is the bbeg. Again." Although I sense some bits that it's more like "oh he's a misunderstood guy who did it all for love and whatnot" but the line of "Hera and Zeus made us fools and now we get to have our revenge" is already pissing me off. 10 minutes of almost nothing but being cliché. Not a good start, but imma give it a shot.
Another thing that irritates me is the "romantic" tension between Alexia and Heron. First of all, I don't get it how Heron is so good at fighting despite the fact that he lived with his mother and never really had to fight anyone with a sword. Like I get the arrows and such (tho hunting an animal in a forest and shooting a moving fucking warrior on a bloody battlefield seem kinda different, but aight, I'll let it slide). But how in the fuck after a few days-weeks of training with Zeus he manages to be so fucking op in the battle that it impresses an Amazonian Fucking Warrior Lady that spent at least half her life perfecting her martial skills?? This guy was not a warrior to begin with, how is he so good at killing people and demons?? He was BULLIED AND HAD NO ONE TO TEACH HIM KICK BALLS! So anyways, I don't like that it's implied that Alexia is falling in love with Heron. No, she's a powerful ass Amazonian, she's supposed to be COOL AND NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS WIBBLY WOBBLY HERON THAT HADN'T EVEN LIVED FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS!!! Like, c'mon, how old is he? 17? 18? He maybe has a body of a perfect athlete, but he's a fucking baby... And don't tell me Alexia is below 20, she's in her late 20's AT LEAST, cuz ain't no way a 20 year old is commanding an elite squad in ancient Greece. So no to Heron×Alexia. Not on my watch.
Also, what the fuck is elusinian stone and why are we supposed to care whether Hades gets it not?
What the fuck did they do to Hestia's and Athena's designs?? Like what the honest fuck is this bullshit?? Who do winged dead eating demons look more interesting that obviously very important characters?? Also, the scream Hestia lets out burning the demons away from her 💀💀💀

Episode 2:
Alexia, girl, why are you sleeping in full armour?? Also what happened to your face??

Also, why is Heron having a mental breakdown over some noname bro that killed their mother??
Bro, why are you so suddenly questioning gods?? (Ye, he should question who the fuck these gods are to rule over humanity, but it's smth he was supposed to do in the previous season, not now when he beat the shit out of his step brother in the name of gods)

Apollo is still serving. By now you should see the pattern of what men I like.
Drop it with the love interest for Seraphim already. I don't believe that a murder machine like him is able to fall for a simple mortal woman. Like this fuck would even care for anything else than his revenge. Well, tbh I didn't believe that he'd care for his biological mother either, so... I just don't like how they portrait him as a weak for love bud. Isn't that a bit unrealistic for a mass murderer with no empathy? Like ain't one supposed to be empathetic to love? Ain't one supposed to feel nothing when killing a shit load of people with no remorse whatsoever? Isn't there some psychological repercussions? No? Ok.

Yes, of course the prideful demon Seraphim, the murderer of guilty and innocent, the vengeful spirit will succumb to be a pawn in god's hands once again, only to alleviate the suffering of the soul of his beloved! What a bunch of horseshit, guys... I may be delusional enough to be attracted to that man and call him babygirl, but even I understand that this fuck is incapable of love. This isn't his character, it was done to just make him into the "good guy that was just too miserable so he caused a lot of pain to the others". Let's be fair for a sec here, he's a mass murderer, he deserves no forgiveness. Yes, he can be redeemed, but it's a long fucking process, that doesn't always include forgiveness, but a shit load of work and reflection. And therapy. Hades could've "tempt" him to join forces by manipulating his pride and desire to be free, to be above gods. Not love. Love can be ugly, love can be beautiful, love can be an instrument to redeem someone, but by gods, stop using it on every Joe to make him into hero, it's just stupid.

Hera, I don't believe you, that now, all of the sudden you're changing your mind and vouching for Zeus, that he's not that bad. Girl, you unleashed a whole ass box of giants to kill that man just a few weeks ago, why such sudden change of mind??
Zeus, how in the fuck you managed to build a whole ass knowledge bunker under that shabby house of your son without anyone noticing?? Please, share the secret, I also want to be capable of that

Oke, I can understand why Sera might've fallen for the priestess in a normal situation (if he hadn't been fucked up beyond repair, that is). She's smart, she's beautiful, she's compassionate. A perfect woman, if she had any character to her. But my man is, unfortunately, beyond salvation of any kind, when he met her, he wasn't recovering from the hatred, he was driven by it. How can one love another, when one is fueled by hatred and anger? How can one love, when one had long forgotten what is it to be loved? How can one love, when one is no longer feeling?
Episode 6:
I suddenly like the Heron's arc. Is he gaining some depth to his character? Wow.
Lmao, Sera, you fell from gods know what height and you're still in one piece and not smushed into the ground and around? You are a solid rock of a man.
Ok, maybe Sera is slay in his human form. It's just that he needs to be dressed appropriately. Stop walking around with tits out in and wearing this stupid furry mini skirt and he's looking like a decent man.

In conclusion:
The majority of the script is shite. Some (almost all) of the arcs can be done so much better. Designs suck an ass too. But did I enjoy watching it? Yes. Is it because of Seraphim? Primarily so. But will I wait for the 3rd season? Absolutely yes.
So I loved and hated the show at the same time. The main line is quite interesting nevertheless, so see y'all when the 3rd season is out.
I have a shit load of stuff to say on addition, but this post is long enough in it self, so maybe later.

Anon, it isn't about who rly is morally right in svsss. It's about how you stan your fav who is immoral. But hate on SJ, who only did 1 thing wrong; which is singling out LBH, might I add a PROTAGONIST, and abuse him. Cos if LBH wasn't a protag, no one would've care if he abused him or not. Cos I've some examples in svsss who did abuse children but got away with it.
SY is a lazy, 2nd Generation young master, neet and an internet hater. He bullied SQH to change his original plot, then had the audacity to hate on it. After transmigrating, his only plan was to survive, not to change LBM or the plot. He was okay if LBM DID turn out as a tyrant, as long as he is alive with his LIMBS INTACT. Had 3 yrs to prepare for LBM's abyss arc and stopping LBM's blackening fully. But instead, he DID NTH but to lazy around the Peak, coddling and spoiling LBM, giving him an assurance that demonic cultivation is okay in CQMS and when the time came, accused LBM of being a demon and pushed him in abyss after stabbing him. LBM wouldn't have turned out the way he did, if SY didn't pull that shit. He isn't a good teacher. He emotionally abused QJP disciples, abandoning them, getting irritated if anyone starts crying but coddles LBM if he did the same. He had also abused BZP disciples indirectly, using LQG to beat up his disciples ONLY COS they were bullying LBM, not any other QJP disciple. He still continued to abuse SQH, a fellow transmigrator. He is also a groomer, might I add, he was grooming LBM into a tyrant, who'll listen to him, tho he didn't know he was unintentionally grooming LBM sexually as well. And his biggest crime is till the end he is impersonating someone else, ik he didn't have a choice but he could've come clean that he isn't who they all think he is.
LBM is an obsessive freak, manipulating SY into having his way, he tortured SY just cos he 'thought' he got rejected by his shizun. Beat up SHL, used some innocent cultivators to satiate XM's hunger, tried to SA SY and last but not the least, tried to merge the 3 realms and killing n no. of innocent ppl with it.
Okay, LBG makes my blood boil, he is the worst out of all the immoral Gays out there. He is everything SJ was accused for! He is a mass murderer. He did genocide, he is behind the destruction on 3 realms, killing so many innocent humans and cultivators alike. He is a rapist, raping innocent women in 2 digits. He is fucking abuser himself! He abused and tortured SJ for years. Turned him into a human-stick! Just bcos he couldn't handle some whipping, which was a simple form of punishment in ancient China. He wasn't even abused to the extend SJ did, but had the audacity to cry about it to everyone, about how horrible his shizun is. He had also tortured SY and tried to rape him. And had to look pitiful when SY rejected him. Only cos SY was a nicer version of his shizun.
LQG may try to be a righteous man, but trust me he isn't. No righteous man will belittle anyone. He looked down upon sex workers. Belittled SJ, who he knew nth about. Abusing his own disciples, abandoning them whenever he felt like it. In Jinlan city arc he kidnapped civilians so MQF could experiment on them. Pls don't tell me it is morally right to you.
YQY's biggest crime is his silence. He was silent when PLs were accusing SJ and spreading rumours about him, when he knew about SJ. He never stopped those rumors from spreading. He never stopped the PLs to shit on SJ. He kept his silence. He was silent when SJ warned him about SQH. He NEVER listened to SJ, whenever he tried to warn him about smth and then SJ had to deal with the outcome. He was silent when LBG came to accuse SJ of his crimes. He NEVER opened his mouth. He never asked his martial siblings to get along with SJ, but expected that from SJ. He knew his brother but still believed the crimes against him.
SQH, og or airplane doesn't matter, is a mass murderer. He killed innocent young cultivators in IAC. He was conspiring with demons against his own kind! The only difference between them is, airplane was a little bit kind. Cos he didn't unleashed, dangerous and deadly monsters. He tried to help SJ when LQG accused him of backstabbing or gave him an advice for future Lingxi Caves event. He isn't rly that kind either. PIDW ended the way it did cos he got corrupt. He started licking his benefactors feet. Og did everything on his own volition. He never cared for anyone in this world.
MBJ, just like SQH, is a mass murderer. He is the mastermind behind the demon invasion in IAC, killing innocent young cultivators. He also abused SQH constantly.
Looking at your fav none of them are morally right but when it comes to staning one of them only SJ gets the backlash and says, "Stop staning SJ, stan SY he is kinder version of SQQ," "uwu LBH/LBM/LBG is a traumatized little meowmeow. He ended up like this cos he was abused in the past," "YQY is a traumatized little guy, he scared to loose everything in his life!" "SQH is forced to do everything!" And last, "LQG is a righteous cultivator, he'll never do anything wrong!"

okay so you know how GoT is sort of based on the War of Roses and the history of Great Britain but with dragons and a little cooler? this is like that but with the Roman Empire, focusing on the reign of Caligula, the Mad Emperor. I actually love this idea so much bc I love fantasy books that take inspiration from actual things in ancient history. I don't know which magical creature ill add, probably something from Roman mythology lol bc I don't want to do dragons (even tho I love them)

ep14 (pt1): oh boy romantic montage time
wwx as a teenager is genuinely more compassionate than he's portrayed as

I've often been confused by this sequence. if they showed wwx actually entering the shell instead of suddenly cutting to him inside this big red cavern, I think it would have made more sense
also I've often complained that animals don't have large rooms in their bodies like that but I just realized....oh yeah it's an ancient twisted monster. animal biology need not apply so 🤡
honestly I found this fight scene very drawn-out and uninteresting. the special effects for the fight were somewhat awkward and I was kind of bored. this was good though

I'm kind of missing the donhua ngl. I like cql the best but the donghua was just so focused and clever and creative with the story
wwx is all kinds of fucked up after this fight....not just from his concerning readiness to die but probably also from connecting with this cursed fucking sword. he seems really out of it, and seems to be in a drowsy sort of honesty when he's like 'oh lan zhan...I didn't think I'd be able to meet you again' which is a very...nitimate thing to say? bc later when lwj gives him spiritual energy and he's a little more himself
he sees lwj all lit up and helping him and he starts complaining about how 'boring' it is. face your feelings, wwx! stop avoiding them! you think lwj is beautiful and unique and special and you like him a lot!
it's also. I feel like wwx doesn't feel like he even has the right to have an attachment outside of the jiangs? in some scenes he's really enthusiastic about himself and lwj being partners but in others he hastily denies it in order to smooth things over with jc, so jc doesn't feel abandoned. oof. we'll get to that
okay the top one is the viki and the bottom one is the youtube version which I remember! why are the translations the opposite of each other! also the youtube version is literally higher quality im so mad
god damn I love the lyrics to wuji. they almost don't matter, since they never come up after this and they're not relevant to the song's significance within the narrative, but they're perfect. it's about the struggles of a lifetime, about grief and joy, the ups and downs of being in the world, of reputation lost and gained. vague and poetic, and achingly relevant. that last line about sharing a tune together at the horizon....that's the finale, isn't it? just beautifully put together and a powerful reflection of the story itself, wwx's rise and fall and the pains and joys he's going to face. cannot believe a 16 yr old wrote that. tho if it was anyone, it would be lwj wouldn't it
lwj is ALWAYS the one leaving without saying goodbye! no wonder wwx lost faith! in this context the gusu situation is a little urgent but like. he couldn't have left a note?
I've read a few fics where they sleep together in the cave and 1. nasty and 2. that would make him just leaving after so much worse 😭 I do not endorse the first time cave sex headcanon. see, here he's trying to make jc feel better by calling lwj boring and jc just - lashes out. wwx tries this entire scene to deflect praise onto jc and diminish his accomplishments and to support jc and jc just treats him like shit. no wonder their relationship is so terrible later if jc treats him like this just bc he's mad. can't he see that wwx has no more control over this situation than jc does? he's just the acceptable target in jc's eyes bc jc can't be mad at his parents!
like wen chao was trying to murder mm and string up her body to attract the monster which they were going to be expected to fight without weapons. what the fuck was he supposed to do? and he's not even the one who started the fight! AND if he hadn't stayed behind, how could everyone else has escaped? I didn't see jc offering any other solutions! jesus
it sucks that jfm is implying that jc doesn't have the right temperament to lead the clan, but he's literally the only person in authority to push back against jc's treatment of wwx this arc. and he's literally right that you shouldn't speak from anger. it's not what a leader should do, it's not fair or just, it doesn't allow you to speak wisely or carefully, and it's not something that will lead anywhere good. but after this arc all jc does is lead from anger and bitterness!
it's also so twisted that wwx feels responsible for this and tries to defend jc as 'he's just mad and venting' which he says is fine here but later in the story he bitterly complains about. like I know he loves and misses LP as an adult but this entire situation was absolutely noxious for everyone involved. ppl talk about jyl being parentified but wwx felt obligated to do the same for jc as well and put aside all his own needs and emotions for jc's as soon as this shit starts up. he acts like the undeserving servant as soon as he feels like he needs to I feel dizzy

You know what would be hilariously funny? Imagine if this book reveals that back in the day, Mevolent was actually a normal height, but he later somehow changed his height (Nye? Elemental self-manipulation?) just to mog people
Hmm, in SP it seems more like there is a correlation between size and power. I mean all sorcerers are taller than they should be given the time period they are born in and even by today's standards they are above average.
And the warlock leader, Charivari, was even taller than Mev. Perhaps courtesy of being quite powerful at wielding a more untamed version of magic?

Though my fav theory is still that Mev got so tall bc the Unnamed's training gave him a power boost and a side effect of that was growing quite tall. This is not to say that Mevolent hadn't been gifted from the beginning, if he wasn't naturally skilled, the Unnamed wouldn't have bothered with him. But the training pushed Mev beyond what he would have been able to accomplish otherwise.
And after he had killed the Unnamed he was trying to fill his knowledge gaps (aka the things his master hadn't taught him on purpose) by raiding his library. Imagine some of the most powerful spells and techniques were written in a long-dead language and when Mev couldn't find anyone who could read it he desperately tried to teach it to himself via those old tomes. Imagine the angst potential of Mev trying one of the ancient spells but having made a translation error- .3.
Mev also tried to gain abilities he didn't have via sigils. I think it was your headcanon that Mev let Nye carve a sigil that gives him limited sensitive abilities into the inside of his skull. I still ADORE that headcanon.
He also learned some of the spells Nef uses tho he doesn't rely as heavily on them as Nef bc while he is trying to turn himself into a jack of all trades (like his master was), Elemental magic is still his discipline and thus the strongest magic he has. The other magic he uses is sigils, spells and potions (aka things EVERY mage can use) to cheat himself some extra power. Mevolent absolutely is the type with an insatiable hunger for knowledge and the power that it grants, which is how he became so powerful and why he gets along so well with Nef, who is driven by the same hunger.

DD: most of them (31,2%) stuck to the typical 'first one to die loses' standard, with weapons limited to archaic ones (such as old explosion-powered guns and swords of all sorts)
DD: the second in popularity was using modern weapons (24,4%), which is usually defined as 'any weapon thats not archaic'. also typically with the 'first to die loses' rule
DD: third was weaponless (9,61%) - fighting directly, hand-to-hand. this one is mostly 'first to bad injury', i think because its harder to kill someone with no weapons
DD: fourth were duels of wit (2,46%). problems to be solved mentally, first to solve the problem correctly was the winner

7) What non-combat skill do they excel at?
Vulon: Vulon is Very good at sneakin' around, and is really good at talking its way through things so its Speech Skill is very high as well :> Its also really good with restoration magic, which tends to surprise people! As for non-gameplay stuff it's really good at cooking and mending clothes (and when it dies it spends a lot of time studying various art forms and such).
Vyrthaal: Vyrthaal is also pretty sneaky but he excels the most in blacksmithing and enchanting (and while Vyr usually uses archery for combat he's also just Really Fucking Good At It and can do fancy tricks and is a good hunter bc of it + he's good at Being Sneaky). He's decent at alchemy thanks to Kili teaching him, and very skilled at restoration magic (though he also uses the sun-based restoration spells in combat). Non-gameplay he is Also very good at cooking! He's also good at Embroidery and making clothes :3
Jo'safiir: Jo'safiir is the sort to argue that all schools of magicka can be used perfectly well outside of combat Including destruction so I'm gonna say. That lmao. Non game play things: cooking AND baking (Vyr and Vulon are both 2 impatient to bake well) as well as knitting and crochet!
Sethsa: Stealth, speech, lockpicking, and illusion are my girl's best skills!! She's also very good at baking (all my ocs are good at some kind of food making/preparation can u tell lmao) and an excellent story teller!
12) Who are they closest to?
Vulon: Lord Boethiah, Serana, and Sissel. It is also close to the Dawnguard in that it fought alongside them and considers them all its siblings-in-arms and trusts them with its life in combat.
Vyrthaal: Kili, Serana, and of course his moms and their Stronghold, as well as Kili's hive!
Jo'aafiir: Ko'jiirah, Miraak, Boltu, and his entire family (though all except for Ra'sava live in Elsewyr). He also grows pretty close to his mortal biological father, Jo'iq, after a while.
Sethsa: Deathcry, Rune, Chal, Boltu, Karliah, and Brynjolf are her closest loved ones, but she cares deeply for the rest of the Guild as well! She's just not *close* to them, u kno?
16) Did they feel sympathy for any villains they came into contact with? If so, who and why?
Vulon: It did for Miraak. It saw itself in him just As it knew Miraak saw himself in it. Vulon wished it could have worked with Miraak more instead of both of them "knowing" they were fated to kill each other. It knows Miraak, for all his pride and boasting, is just as traumatized and fucked up as it is just in different ways.
Vyrthaal: Also Miraak, because he can't stand the thought of anyone forced to serve any being, Daedric or otherwise, against their will.
Jo'safiir: I don't think any, really. Like yes he's married to and loves Miraak but when he was a Villain(tm) Jo"safiir didn't feel bad for him. Miraak made his deals with Mora, sucks that he's trapped in Apocrypha, but ultimately he opened that can of worms so he should lie in it. He doesn't complain when Ko'jiirah yoinks him out tho!
Sethsa: Sethsa Also doesn't really feel bad for any villains she encounters!
18) What's their favorite armor?
Vulon: The Ebony Mail :}
Vyrthaal: The Ancient Falmer armor though he always cherishes the first set of armor he made with Marzog's help !! Unfortunately he Does grow out of it :')
Jo'aafiir: He isn't really an armor guy, he always wears mage robes! He favors the Arch Mage robes but that's bc they're sort of his "uniform," though in part bc it helps him feel closer to Savos after his death.

Actually- STORY TIME-
The reason Marinus' older sister wears a mask is because of an incident where he ate her face which permanently disfigured her (he was like 7 at the time and she was 12), he feels extremely guilty about this event.
Dont worry, she's doing okay! She's a seamstress and the only really affected area was her face.
Although his mother congratulated and supported this behaviour, Marinus hates feeling this emptiness when he's hungry with a desperate need to fill it with anything or anyone. Marinus is kind of like Morpeko from Pokemon, only a giant siren that is probably going to kill you✨
One of the things he hates the most is having his mouth restrained because of these hunger urges, he will shriek, yell and violently thrash around as he desperately tries to get it off.

Vizzy's background;
So, Vizerxa's SUPPOSED to be able to use shadow magicks / be a god of darkness, bur Sidera fucked that up using the Ancients (sid convinced Sol, Ancient god of Light, to make Vizerxa a temporary holder of Sol's power while Vizzy was pretty young, which completely messed up most of Vizerxa's powers in general, it took centuries for her to be able to Shadow-walk properly)
(also fun fact, Vizerxa's birth name is Vivere Umbra (mortem), aka 'To Live in the Shadows (of death)'
she's the second born daughter of Queen Fractal of Amist Memoriam, but due to not being able to use her bloodline powers, she's mostly forgotten in... pretty much every regard- she met Clara bc she wanted to be a Zypherin (basically a general / high ranking fighter) & Clara became a sibling figure & someone to lean on pretty quickly
She originally didn't want to join Light Song since she still had people supporting her (namely Clara and Videns, Lucidi was always too busy & exhausted since they were the actual heir to the throne), buut Light Song got a mercenary to take out Clara & then was able to get Vizerxa to join
even then Vizerxa technically agreed for her own gain; if she's a deity, she can't be forgotten. she didn't quite realize that Light Song would actually go through with completely destroying her kingdom after the Mortem Siblings joined her (Videns just flatout follows Vizerxa everywhere & Light Song manipulated Lucidi)
Her full story is pretty long so there's Vizerxa while she was alive -
tldr of after she became a deity, she basically subtly manipulated Light Song & pretended to go along with her while plotting Light's murder & slowly draining Light's powers via a transfer/syphon that LS was unaware of
behaviors;
she gets really protective of people but tries to keep it subtle until they're actually in danger (the only time she openly went against LS and flatout told LS that she'll be the one to kill her is bc LS threatened Vizerxa's children) (she's already lost a lot of people she cares about and KNOWS its her fault, if she can prevent it from happening again she will)
she very much observes from the shadows while in social settings & if she can tell something's gonna go wrong, she guides the people she cares about out and/or tries to subtly stop whatever is gonna go wrong
Vizerxa doesn't really. understand. cold & is very much comfortable in a literal blizzard, so if/when anyone says they're cold, her first reaction is to basically bury them in fluffy blankets bc obviously they're already freezing to death shshshsh (she'll shadow-walk away silently, come back with a fluffy blanket, drop it on the person, and repeat) (also will try to get them to somewhere warmer)
Vizerxa also is t r y i n g to get over her dislike of physical contact since she's like. the ONLY Salhan that's not cuddly (constantly cold realm, therefore huddle together for warmth. meanwhile Vizerxa hates physical contact) so she sometimes randomly headpats people.
she likes just. existing. with people, since she doesn't really understand constantly talking if you're not actively learning a new thing / conveying something you can't just observe
She generally is closed off & used to hiding almost everything and being one of the calmest people in the entire Fallen Pantheon, so she doesn't really emote much.
she shows care through doing things together & giving gifts once she's close enough to someone, she smiles more though & her tone actually. shows emotions. she doesn't really get playful like other Draconics do, though.
sometimes she likes to unnerve / mildly scare people for fun if she's in a good mood tho lol ("i just wanna talk." "NO I DONT WANNA DIE" "i just wanna talk, Keiluvi." "NOPE NOPE NOPE" "come here, Keiluvi. I just want to talk." -Vizerxa & Keiluvi, where Vizerxa just is being a mild menace)
She normally doesn't really play chess against friends unless the friend wants to, since she normally uses it as a way to get to know someone's strengths & weaknesses and alliances / analyze them more
She doesn't sleep enough & sleeps really lightly, so no one really. sees her asleep. but when she's sleep deprived enough (& alternatively, soon after she wakes up) she's a bit more affectionate than normal (hand on someone's shoulder, subtly leaning on them, headpats, etc)
she's actually like. really empathetic, suprisingly, and makes sure the people around her are happy & safe if she can (when she was serving Light Song she kinda had to just. stand at the side and watch LS needlessly harm many people.) & if someone needs comfort, she'll let them cling to her
oh yeah Vizerxa has two adopted children, she accidentally adopted them when she saved them after an avalanche blocked the three of them in a cave (she still doesn't know entirely how this happened)

Important context for Venali, she's my bg3 character. Human wild magic sorcerer, charlatan background bc she's pretending to be a wizard. Why? She's looking for information on the source of her magic (an unknowable ancient eldritch entity whose only purpose seems to just be devastation) BUT. She's a sorcerer and not a warlock bc magic is something it did to her, not something she made a pact for. However, there was still an unwilling transaction and the cost was very high. The wizard persona is bc the information she's looking for is largely forbidden and only wizards are the type of people with big enough heads to think they can be the sole proprietors of ancient and taboo knowledge. Anyway, she doesn't Want to have magic and never sought to have it, so this whole thing kinda sucks for her all around. She wants to figure out what the hell it was that gave it to her so she can either be rid of it or at the VERY LEAST get a handle on the wild magic side of it. Before all of this, she was on track to go to university and become a historian who just so happens to Love fieldwork. She was focused on a particular ruin she stumbled upon that seemed to be lost to time. For good reason, it turns out.
Also just a fun fact, she has an incredibly strong memory. Near perfect recall type of strong, making it really easy for her to learn and replicate wizardly theory and technique. She's kinda posing as a late-blooming, sheltered prodigy out of Baldur's Gate. It gets her invited to some very private arcane collections.
Break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?
In a general sense, personal loss is the biggest thing. To some degree, it can be a material loss, like if something happened to an item that directly relates to her search. But to really make her lose it she'd have to lose someone. And she has! Her whole inciting incident is that she led her childhood-friends-turned-excavation-team into the ruin she was studying and found an ancient, unknowable agent of darkness. Her memory of what happened is spotty at best, but at least she retained some memories. Eight of them went in, four of them came out. Those who died were killed as payment for the entity giving the survivors a very volatile brand of magic they didn't want. Of everyone she lost, the one that hurt the worst was her closest friend (almost maybe more) Maude. It was the first time Venali ever froze. She was led out by one of her surviving friends who managed to keep their cool, Zela. The moment they were out of the ruin, it disappeared. Not like it moved, but like it was never there. (Side note, I think it would be fun if 3 of the survivors came out sorcerers but one of them came out a warlock but keeping it a secret can you IMAGINE the future fallout of that. the foils. whatever whatever whatever i think about it for the rest of time)
She really hit all the breakdown high notes tho, once the realization set in and it became apparent she was the only one of her remaining friends who remembered any of what happened after they passed the threshold of the ruin. Zela, the levelheaded one, was there for the worst of it. They even swapped places at times, it was Truly the worst time of Venali's life because they both kept having wild magic surges they didn't know how to deal with.
Mistake: What's the worst mistake your OC ever made? What led to them making it? Have they been able to fix it? How have they moved on?
I love this question being the next one bc it's just a direct continuation of the last answer. So a bit more backstory, these eight friends were a really tight-knit group growing up. Each had their own skills and they'd often explore local ruins and act like they were daring adventurers. This directly contributed to Venali's growing interest in history and what these places were like when they were inhabited. This spiraled into genuinely pursuing answering questions lost to time as a life path for all of them in some capacity. They were all 22-24 when they went into The ruin.
Venali doesn't think it will be fixed until she can find the answers to the questions of What got them and Where it went after. And if she can rid them of their "gift" while she's at it, well that's a very welcome bonus. As for the initial despair of the situation, Venali dealt with her grief as well as she could. It's a heavy weight to shoulder, but one she had to if she was ever going to make it up to her friends for taking them there. She still violently fears the dark and has an occasional nightmare, but her search keeps her focused and driven.

62. seven characters you relate to?
- Now this is bad, ahah! :D I don't know do I have 7 characters but I will list those who I have.
Gan Ning from Dynasty Warriors. He is very fair, loyal, he is very free spirited and he likes his freedom. He doesn't want to be controlled, told what he is supposed to do. Same with me. I value my freedom and don't like it when others like to control me.
Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He has temper but he, like Gan Ning, is loyal and does everything to protect his family. He is not all that good at expressing his feelings (warmest ones) but he shows them with actions. I have temper and it boils over in a second if I go too far with it. I try my best to be loyal (depending how people treat me back) and I am there for those who needs protection (shoulder to cry on, ear to listen etc.). I also struggle to express my warm feelings with words. I rather show them with actions (hugs, giving gifts mainly). I also have to mention Raphael's old version from TMNT Adventures. He is mellow and gentle turtle who doesn't hesitate to even kill in order to protect his loved ones.
Kazuya Mishima from Tekken. He is cold and very distant, minding only his own business, doing things in his own way and not letting anything or anyone stop him. I try to keep my distance as well, at times I guess I appear as cold too(?). I try to focus on my life and myself, going for my goals without letting anything or anyone stop me but I'm still practicing all of this :'D
Grimmjow from Bleach. Once again a character who is "cold", does things his way, not liking to be bossed or controlled. Tho, I'm certain he has a good heart deep inside. If he didn't, I'm sure he wouldn't had saved Orihime from those two other Arrangars (if I remember correctly) who were beating her.
Gruffi Gummy. I had to do some googling but he likes to do things in his own way, in the old fashioned way (gummy way). I saw him first time as a little girl in 90's, not seeing him since, but I remember he was my favorite. I too prefer to do things in "the old fashioned way". Like... "Thing X has always been done this way!"
Rei from Breath of Fire 3. Care free, takes care of younger and smaller ones, has a good heart, is kind but also funny (at times). Likes to say; "Doesn't this just beat all?". I try my best not to worry about anything in life but it's hard at times. I try my best to do good if my finances allow it. I try to heal my heart and become better. I try to be kind and funny (don't want to be boring or lame :'D).
William from Nioh. Now, he is a bit tricky. He is more like a husband material to me than a character who I can relate to. However, I really like his story and adventures in ancient Japan. I like old Japanese houses and shrines so... When I play as William and can go to shrine and see temples etc. I feel I'm visiting them personally.

GOD
just played the most intense game of evil dead the game In My Life (or, er, in the 111 hours I've put into it, lol)
under the cut for nerd shit/game lingo/long recap
i've only ever solo q'd, so every game is a surprise, but this one, oh my godddddd
started with a team of Ruby, Hunter Ash, Support Ash, and, me, Warrior Ash! (I upgraded him to level 25 last night, and am working on prestiging him 😊) meanwhile, the demon picked Baal
the demon found us right when we found the first page tho 😔 they tried the possession>trap loop, but since we were grouped up at the time, it didn't work
then, we split off a bit, half looting and half getting the pages - it kinda worked? the demon would down someone, but the other would revive them/run then resurrect
after we got all pages, we grouped up at the 1st objective, and, uh. didn't do too good. support ash went down early and the demon put up so many portals we couldn't revive him in time. same w/ hunter ash. me and ruby secured the point though 😎
we were next to misery manor, so obvi we started looting because we were Low On Shemps
weren't quick enough bc the demon showed up and downed support ash 😔 we all killed the possessed unit, and hunter ash grabbed the soul to revive but then.. support ash disconnected. UGH.
Hard to tell if it was intentional or not, bc there's been A Fair Amount of unintended disconnects (but also intentional.... 😑)
but anyway, we persevered! because, why not? 2nd objective was on the opposite end of the map (below fishing village) so we ended up separating by virtue of speed, hunter ash in the lead and me in the back. saw that they kept getting possessed so there might've been some trap looping happening, but idk
anyway we had No Shemps, there was 6 minutes on the timer, and we were Right Next to fishing village so I looted 1 building and found 2 shemps
meanwhile, Ruby was downed 😶 SO. I get her soul and revive her, while Hunter Ash is dealing with HORDES. there's less than 5 minutes left, we HAVE TO start point, and... Hunter Ash goes down.
I proceed to ignore him 😅 and go up to the objective and then. can't. start it. bc THERE'S SO MANY PORTALS. there's like. 4 minutes left. I manage to start it and then it's me and ruby for, like. 20 seconds. then she goes down 😭 i can't revive bc there's HORDES and I am at QUARTER HEALTH and I'm barely able to use a shemp before I get hit
At this point I'm, like, positive I'm playing a losing game. I have less than half health. I'm all alone on a demon-occupied point. I started this point with 4 minutes and something seconds left on the timer - I'm pretty sure that, all alone, that objective timer isn't gonna go up fast enough.
and there's HORDES of basics and elites around me. so.
I activate my ability to get that tiny amount of health back, then start CUT SCENE-ING the SHIT out of everyone
I am SLAMMING on that finisher button. just Warrior Ash against the entire fucking world. the demon just keeps dropping more and more portals - which, thank GOD they didn't possess anyone; I would've gone down, no doubt in my mind - and I just keep entering cutscnes with my basic chainsaw
(which, sidenote: 99% sure that Hunter Ash had a Legendary chainsaw. what the heck........ I mean, it worked out in my low health favor, as I definitely wouldn't have been able to cutscene with it. but. cmon. principle of the matter.)
ANYWAYS. the timer on the game is counting down when. oh my god. Objective Complete. Everyone is resurrected. It was a MIRACLE.
anyway we made it to ancient ones, though we Did split up (I found 2 more shemps on the way) we knocked it down to the 2nd bar, but then Ruby got downed. I grabbed her soul, but was JUST too late to resurrect her before the storm covered the alter. bummer
I got back, hunter ash was down and died too. the 2 shemps didn't last very long 😔 so I died shortly after, so demon won
but besides that. god. what a game. 10/10. demon was great, though they could've won if they possessed an elite unit at any given time I was alone. Very happy they didn't, because it turned out I downed 94 basic unites and 40-ish elite units - amazing progress towards my prestige 😌

Episode 1 :
Thors are you a fucking petty bitch ?! Revive and feed the starved necrotic - limbs almost - dead CPR - driven man first. He literally just awoke from CPR and warmth and you're already drilling him - AND making his parched body cry profusely, placing so much lethal stress on a starved man. Is Thors for real, that braindead stupid mf.
I'm disappointed in this bitchass family already. Atleast Yvla has the excuse of being wary. And Helga is in poor health so maybe that's why she didn't respond immediately when Thors told her to boil water - but she's still on thin ice if not.
And ofc Halfdan is pure disgusting evil. Still that chain torture part was some nice gore.
AAND starved man is near death. Maybe if Thors and the bitchass family had focused on healing him before asking him obviously traumatic questions he'd be alive. And Helga tells Thors to stop trying as soon as that guy seems dead - bitch have you heard of resuscitation ? She treats death so casually, as if it's a walk in the park. Am I supposed to like her or even find her sympathetic ? She's sick herself yet is not averse to death ? What a terrible callous weakling.
Thors is still trying tho, he's a genuine good guy then. And Ylva was just being practical, can't fault her. Thorfinn is a typical kid. These three are sympathetic people, but Helga is in my bitch book already.
I like kid Thorfinn, he's an analytical person and asks good questions.

I like it well enough. A nice enough episode.
Episode 3 -
Why aren't Ylva and Helga displaying any concern for Thors ? Don't they think there's a chance of him dying ? Do they think he'll go to Valhalla even if he dies ? They should be begging him not to go. Wtf
Thors totally intends to die alone so that Floki can dissuade desertion in the army, have his justice, and not trouble Thors' fam and village and others.
Ofc his fam doesn't know this, but bro he's going to WAR. At least TRY to stop him ?
Episode 4 -
What useless fucking wife and daughter. Couldn't even find Thorfinn to ensure his safety. They don't even have the brains to look for him on the ship ? Wow. If I were in Thors' place I'd get a divorce and disown them out of anger at their carelessness. We never even see them trying to find Thorfinn. Screw those dumb bitches.
Also, this is why you teach your kids to shut the fuck up in situations when they shouldn't be drawing dangerous attention to themselves. Teach them to hide behind the other soldiers and to fear harm and battle. Basic stranger danger stuff Viking edition.
This also partly happened cuz Thors was so fanatical about hos no killing rule that he abandoned all logic. Wtf man, that's not how bloody ancient life works.
This is also why you don't blindly depend on someone, no matter how strong - they're human after all. This whole fiasco also happened cuz the village warriors and Thorfinn trusted Thors to overcome any challenge AND cuz the Valhalla concept teaches you not to value your safety - that's why Thorfinn snuck onto the ship, he had no fear or concept of danger. That's why the other villagers didn't independently toughen themselves up.
Askeladd (abbreviated Kelly from now on) is interesting. A callous son of a bitch for killing Thors, but he didn't kill anyone else, not even a charging Ari. Same with Bjorn. Why tho ? Out of respect ? Cuz they want to go to Valhalla at the end and a 'true warrior' would keep such a promise (i say this cuz I got spoilers that Kelly wants to go to Vally eventually).
Thors died standing tho lol. I'm no doctor at all, so is there some explanation for that ? Also a question for the doctors - from what I remember Calcium ions binding with a specific myoglobin leads to muscle contraction, and muscle relaxation also requires some ion or sthg idk. So with no more Ca ion supply since his blood flow stopped, did the muscles just freeze in that contracted state ? Is that actually possible ?
And Kelly you buffoon. I read somewhere that he had the power to safely refuse Floki's commission - so does he regret killing a unique powerhouse like Thors now ? You idiot. You could've manipulated him into serving you and used his powers for your own gain. You saw how one - of - a - kind powerful he was, yet still went through on killing him. Bruh. Stfu. You're hopelessly dumb.

Earlier I thought it would be sweet if mammon beel or Levi has to help mc get over Lucifer’s scary act! Plus how is mc supposed to go on adventures if they’re too busy sweating over pesky things like consequences on the assumption (read: inevitability) Lucifer will ever have to know? I was just thinking that we don’t really canonically see how the mc struggles to adjust, but I imagine suddenly having somebody telling you when you have to be up for breakfast and when you have to be home for dinner and how your location has to be known and how your grades and appearance have to be top knotch and how you need to be escorted around might be a tad bit frustrating. That’s not adding on how intimidating and harsh Lucifer can seem.

So let's start from the beginning, mc was practically okay with being kidnapped, to another world they didn't know existed, forced to not only stay an entire year in an unknown world to them but also stay with 7 ancient year old beings that act like a toddler having a tantrum if they don't get their toy
Now despite Lucifer being the "mature" one he sure as doesn't know how to deal with things if said person doesn't wanna listen, then realise on threatening, traumatising and scearing the living day lights outta siad person
Going back to the first point, I also believe mc listening and not going against anyone in the beginning was a self defence mechanism or sorta like fight or flight mode except they can't run and they can't fight so they go along with it to keep themselves safe
Putting that aside, I hate that the mc was basically a lab rat for diavolo to see if the brothers can handle having a human live with them
He basically sat on the side, knowing bad things will happen (to the credit of barb) and only interfered when mc's life or physical body was being threatened or in the act of being hurt
As much as I love barb and how dedicated he is to his job and dia, he's a little lot too dedicated, there had to be a limit he can put out, right? Dia would listen to his suggestion I know that, so why KNOW that the human will be killed/threatened instead of stopping it completely?
I don't have much of an opinion on Luke at the beginning other then having a strong feeling he was manipulated to join by Michael
Simeon probably jumped at the opportunity since he wants to make amends with the brothers
Now Solomon, despite half the fandom saying he's shady and only interacts with mc to entertain himself at the start, I disagree, I think he's been helping mc behind the scenes, and tries to seem more open and friendly for mc since they're the only other human there and he understands them more then the others
Mammon is the best out of the brothers, I have to say that but when he talked down on mc when they first met is just a shitty thing tbh,I hc mc only stuck around in the beginning cos he's the safest out of the rest since he's forced to be our guardian
Now has anyone noticed the brothers start to like mc's company and just them as a person WAYY faster then mc themselves?
I believe it's cos of the different perspectives for them and the mc
For example, while they viewed everything happening as part of diavolo's plan to unite the three worlds, mc viewed it as being forced to be around dangerous beings who could snap them like a twig for a year
They started falling for mc's kindness but I think that was just mc playing things safe

On to something else, I only played the game to, if I'm remembering correctly, lesson 18. And throughout all 18 lessons mc has never cried or broke down IN FRONT of anyone in the devildom
I think they keep any negative thoughts or emotions private in fear of doing something wrong cos it'll get Lucifer on their back more then he already is
Lucifer throughout the game has proven to not only mc and the brothers that he can't handle having a human around but also to diavolo, over and over again
He literally bruised/broke our hand during a waltz and mc had to keep in the pain due to them being in public
When the mc starts trusting them slight is after they have all 7 pacts cos just incase they try anything they can order them to stop
Lucifer and belghie will be the last of not just the brothers but all the characters to see mc genuinely relaxed and comfortable around everyone
Ofc I have more but this is too long so maybe there'll be a part two if anyone's interested :)
