Spoilers for the first half of hell breaks loose skulduggery pleasant.

Right so I’m gonna be honest I was really hoping for more details on Mevolents side of the war yeah I’ll admit I’m only on chapter 16 or so but that’s more than half way.

I won’t lie the writing so far has been terrible like most times when I read I find it easy to create images in my brain and I was looking forward to this with some dead men actions and a younger skulduggery, but the writing is so awkward and forced I feel my soul depleting each page.

Now I know this might not be the best option but good god. The amount of probably irrational anger I felt when Valkyrie showed up I actually had to put the book down and leave the room. Like….. why? The book was honestly great up till that point with the dead men and the idea of the two sides having to team up it’s just so unnecessary and her character in this doesn’t even add anything so far. also I might be tripping absolute balls here but isn’t Ghastlys mother supposed to be dead at this point..LMFAO. Like I swear it was mentioned that Lord Vile killed her or something but I genuinely can’t remember if that’s something I read in some fat fiction somewhere or not😭. anyway those are my thoughts on this so far it’s a bad fan fic the end.
