Doing my solemn duty and signing up for the local Star Wars costume group's annual charity Holiday Special showings as the one person willing to Hanukkah the place up (while also very much still dressed as Luke Skywalker)

#especially since this year it actually falls during hanukkah #being fair a lot of people do holiday special specific costumes so it's not like /everyone/ else is doing xmas stuff #the most represented holiday is (as it should be) life day #but after that the most common is definitely xmas star wars costumes. so last year i decided i ought to bring some jewish energy #fortunately this was a hit and one of the employees of the theater where we do this nonsense specifically got so excited #so i clearly must do it again #(the costume in question is my normal anh luke PLUS a tshirt that reads 'festival of lightsabers' with a lightsaber menorah on it)
