daenerys targaryen is waaay better than me, because the moment the north would started throwing shade at my crew, I'm out.
you don't like them? whatever, not everyone has a good taste. but give them some respect.
boo-hoo poor sansa, how we're gonna feed them? I DON'T THINK THAT SHOULD BE YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM SINCE THE DEAD ARMY IS COMING. 1. you feed them, 2. you kick dead asses, 3. daenerys gives food from the rest of westeros to the north, in that order, is that simple. "what the dragons eat anyway?" mmm I don't know, maybe meat?? maybe not your problem?? 15 minutes and those dragons will be far away, they'll catch a snack and get back. btw that will give you enough time to inform like 47, 48 persons about secrects you should keep your mouth shut.
all sansa did was "we can't give daenerys the north, we don't need her", okay honey, give me better idea.
those people were that arrogant that they rather reject dany's help AND DIE instead of acknowledge they need her, her army and dragons and the fact she's rightful queen. interesting that sansa or none of the women living there said "hey, you know, send daenerys away, I'm gonna fight for winterfell", they just decided to show how much they despise her and hide in the crypts while dany was risking her life for theirs ungrateful asses.
I would be out in SECONDS. no, even more, instead of talking with jon "please, just bend the knee, man", I'd kill cersei, take the iron throne, make my army bigger, produce more weapon, keep my THREE dragons alive and get ready for dead army. you don't wanna bend the knee, you don't wanna be part of the seven kingdoms? fine, fight with night king's army alone, good luck with that. any person from common people is very welcome in my lands of sIX kIngDoMs under my protection, maybe i'd send them on some island or whatever but most of the northenders, men, their lords, ladies (SANSA AND LYANNA I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU), king etc can die at their own request.
"they didn't trust daenerys, they trusted jon" if they trusted him that much , why didn't they trust him that he made right decision bending the knee to daenerys? funny enough most of those people didn't know jon personally, the same as they didn't know daenerys. all they knew was what they heard about them and what in those stories were bad about dany? about merciful queen who uses her power to save common people, slaves? bunch of racist, xenophobic, biased assholes.
sansa wanted to leave the north since she was a little girl, now you want it back? fine, then fight for it. not expect that someone will do it for you and then make you a queen (what literally happened). knights of the vale fought on littlefinger's order, dothraki and unsullied for daenerys, north for NED'S STARK CHILDREN, not you personally sweetie, you didn't do a shit for them.
daenerys was sooo calm when everyone were praising arya and jon for what they did in the battle ("OMG JON RODE THE DRAGON", hmmm only bc dany let him to and dude barely could do it) I'D BE FURIOUS
"winterfell is your, your grace" ok sweetie, you know what, nevermind, I'm out. with that attitude you can stop night king by yourself, see yaaaa... or not

We have created Modern Reader as a powerful character. It reminds me of Anime where main character transports to the fantasy world, gains some powers and tries to save the world, knowing what would happen next.
The same goes for Modern Reader who transports into House of the Dragon, gains some powers (knowledge and training) and tries to keep the Seven Kingdoms and the Royal family at peace and saves the Realm from The Long Night.
My goodness it’s wonderful. After the defeat of the Night King and stopping the Long Night once and for all, many people died during the war between life and death, but Modern Reader with a whole army of Westeros and dragons and Yandere platonic Targaryen, Velaryons and Hightowers (who were ready to die for her) defeat the Night King and stop the Long Night and bring the victory. Everyone would celebrate this day for many years. Each House would write songs and poetry about Modern Reader. Hell, maybe there would be statue of her or picture of her defeating the Night King, Fire on her side and Ice on Night King’s side (A song of Ice and Fire).
Although Modern Reader gets sad and worried that she would disappear and return home, of course she misses her world, but she doesn’t want to leave, because well she likes this world and she loves her family. I think Modern Reader said that she’s not interested in being the Queen is because she thought she would disappear and everything would go to chaos. Even if Modern Reader disappeared, she won’t be forgotten. She would be mentioned in many history books and any girl would look up to her, because she is a prove that princess and Queen can also become great. I think Modern Reader would change the rules of inheritance, “the oldest child of the family becomes the next ruler, whether it’s a prince or princess”. During Modern Reader’s rule/solving problems the age would be called The Golden Age or something like that, unless the next Targaryen won’t fuck it all up. Imagine how shocking it would be for Dead Conquerors (Visenya , Aegon and Rhaenys) that the Prince that was promised would be no one but Modern Reader. Yea, that would be shocking even for Reader herself
The reason the reader doesn't want to be Queen is because she'll be back. The other reason is that she doesn't want to take Rhaenyra's rights away. Even if the reader returns to her own universe, her name will always appear in the history books. In the succession system, she will adopt the law that the eldest child will be the heir to the throne. Moreover, the gender of the firstborn does not matter. I hope the Targaryens don't ruin the perfect arrangement. However, perhaps the descendants of the reader come back to the universe in different time periods. The Promised Prince/Princess will perhaps be the reader's great-great-granddaughter.

A Game of Thrones, Tyrion II
From there the skulls ranged upward in size to the three great monsters of song and story, the dragons that Aegon Targaryen and his sisters had unleashed on the Seven Kingdoms of old.
They had been given the names of gods: Balerion, Meraxes, Vhagar.
Tyrion had stood between their gaping jaws, wordless and awed.
You could have ridden a horse down Vhagar’s gullet, although you would not have ridden it out again.
Meraxes was even bigger.
And the greatest of them, Balerion, the Black Dread, could have swallowed an aurochs whole, or even one of the hairy mammoths said to roam the cold wastes beyond the Port of Ibben.
Tyrion stood in that dank cellar for a long time, staring at Balerion’s huge, empty-eyed skull until his torch burned low, trying to grasp the size of the living animal, to imagine how it must have looked when it spread its great black wings and swept across the skies, breathing fire.

Hey Maester Steven, sorry if you've already answered this and I just can't find it, but what would you sqy are the specialities of each region of Westeros when it comes to war? I have a general idea from the top of my head (like the Riverlands exceling in guerrilla warfare) but wanted to hear your thoughts in full.
I think I've talked about this here, but I'm happy to go into more detail. When it comes to regional specialties of warfare, in some cases it's easier to identify trends than others, but I'll try my best. (I'm also going to tag in @warsofasoiaf, because I'm pretty sure we've talked about it this quite a bit over the years.)
Keep in mind that we're talking about minor variations in Westerosi armies that all tend to have a mix of knights, infantrymen, and archers working together in a late medieval paradigm of warfare heavily based on the Wars of the Roses.
Tumblr media
The North:
The North's speciality doesn't seem to be a particular kind of military unit, but rather a kind of unique elan: when we consider the campaigns of Roddy the Ruin (the Fishfeed, the Butcher's Ball, First Tumbleton, and Robb Stark (Whispering Wood, the Battle of the Camps, Oxcross), one of the common trends is that Northern armies often employ a strategy of unexpected reckless charges that rely on aggression and shock to panic the enemy.
Usually, this leads to an emphasis on Northern cavalry as the core of the Northern army, but we also see Northern infantry do the same thing at the Battle of the Green Fork. There are some tactical differences - Roddy tended to favor frontal assaults at the risk of heavy casualties, while Robb Stark favored the use of maneuver and ambush.
Here, I think the North's ferocious if somewhat ill-disciplined approach is evocative of the Highland charge and the way it absolutely devastated much larger, European-trained professional armies until the Battle of Culloden, when changes in bayonet technology and a shift in bayonet tactics to solve the problem of the Highland targe.
Tumblr media
The Vale:
We haven't seen the army of the Vale in operation, so we can't really talk about a specialty. However, it's worth noting that repeatedly in the text, the Vale's army is referred to as "the knights of the Vale," so that fits with their general tendency to cultural traditionalism.
Tumblr media
The Ironborn:
Essentially equivalent to historical Vikingers, they're very good at naval warfare, marine operations, and ambushes on relatively undefended targets. They make up for the generally smaller size of their ships through the use of misdirection and distraction.
On land, they fight in (somewhat outdated) infantry shieldwalls and are heavily hampered by their total lack of cavalry, and their relative lack of archers. Moreover, they have no experience of fighting cavalry and tend to break in the face of a cavalry charge. They're pretty poor fighters on land, to be honest.
Tumblr media
The Riverlands:
As we see both in the Dance of the Dragons and the War of Five Kings, the Riverlands has a historic tendency of constantly being invaded by all its many neighbors. While they often come out on the losing end, they tend to be more successful when they eschew conventional medieval tactics and instead focus on guerilla warfare or defensive setpiece battles that emphasize the use of rivers as natural barriers.
Tumblr media
The Westerlands:
Because they have the most money - which is quite reminiscent of the Burgundians - the Lannisters can field multiple large armies with lots of extremely well-trained and equipped soldiers: their melee infantry aren't spearmen but well-armored men-at-arms and well-disciplined pikemen, they have a lot of knights. However, Tywin also has a tendency to use various less-disciplined fighters - the mountain clans, free riders, and some very questionable choices in mercenary companies - as expendable raiders.
Tumblr media
The Reach:
As the most populous region in Westeros, the Reach has the advantage of massive numbers - it's full army is 100,000 strong - which gives it the option of attacking from all directions in force, essentially have the luxury of not having to choose where to spend its resources.
Moreover, the Reach is known for its knights - although as noted in my coverage of ACOK, there's something very weird going on with the numbers of the Reach's cavalry, because it seems like it only has 20,000 knights, which seems rather low.
Tumblr media
The Stormlands:
The Stormlands are known for their marcher lords, whose men are the best longbowmen in Westeros. They're also known for their castles, so I imagine the Storrmlands are particularly good at defensive siegecraft.
Tumblr media
Dorne:
See here. The Dornish have their own entirely different tradition of warfare that bears almost no resemblance to the rest of Westeros, it's a mix of phalanx warfare, horse archers, and jinete light cavalry.

“Ohhhh please something with Brienne of Tarth, maybe Reader is a princess who sees Brienne being sold as a slave and saves her I don’t know 🤷🏾‍♀️” - unmeisenpai
You Belong to Me
Brienne of Tarth x f reader
Summary: - Your father is the King of the Seven Kingdoms making you his heir. Your father takes you to a slave auction where you meet Brienne. You decide to buy the tall beauty wondering what you will do with her.
Warnings: mentions slavery and implies rape.
Requests open
———————————
“Father, do I have to come?” You asked as you left the throne room and headed out to the horse and carriage. “Yes y/n you do! You are my heir and therefore you need to know this stuff. We are preparing for a war and we are running out of men to fight in our army” your father said with his stern voice. “But father I don’t understand why would we buy more men when we can just recruit them from the city?” You were confused at how this was a smart decision. In your mind it made more sense to recruit young men and train them instead of paying all this money for trained men. I mean I get the logic but it just puts us in more debt. “Look you will understand one day when you are the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms but until that day comes stop questioning me and just observe” your father said getting into the carriage with you following pursuit.
“I apologise father. I will not question you again. But may I ask where we will be travelling too?” You asked making yourself comfortable for the journey ahead. “We are heading for as many slave markets as we can over the next few months. The more men we can recruit over this period of time the better. If I had it my way we would travel to every slave market in Westeros but we don’t have time to do that. We have been given five months to get to as many as we can so you better make yourself comfortable because this is going to be a long journey.”
It took about a week before you arrived at the first slave market and to be honest you were kind of disappointed. You had pictured in your head that there would be hundreds of chained men waiting to be sold but when you arrived at this little slave market there were only ten. “Father, please do not tell me that all of the slave markets are like this! If this is the case it is not worth going to anymore” You moaned. “Y/n! Will you stop questioning me! No they will not all be like this. This is the first of many. Some of the markets we attended may only have a few for sale. Some may have as many as a hundred. It all depends on how many slaves they have. This is a start. They may look like a small number but the quicker we get to these slave markets the quicker we can build our army” your father protested.
That was it now. Your father was a stubborn man. He thinks this is a brilliant idea but you can see it all blowing up in his face. You follow your father over to the master of the slaves that were available to buy. “How much do you want for them all?” Your father asked. “One golden dragon per slave” the master said, holding his hand out in front of him waiting for your father to either hand over the money or not. After some thinking your father got out the coins and handed them over as the master gave him the chained slaves and the keys. This is going to be a disaster and you knew it. Your father ordered some of his men to start heading back to the city and they were to return again once the slaves were in their cells. This way your father could save on food as he didn’t have to worry about feeding the slaves.
Over the next coming weeks you stopped off at six more slave markets. The biggest one you have come across so far has had fifty slaves for sale. You saw this as a pointless task. There were plenty of men back at the city that could’ve been trained up to fight in the army and yet here we are spending months on the roads and spending all the city's money on these men that have minimal training. I think father believes that these men are going to be like the unsullied but he is far from right. As you came up to the next slave market you could see this was a lot larger than the rest and there were both men and women for sale. You knew father wouldn’t buy any female slaves to fight in his army because he believes that they can’t fight even though he is training you to become the future ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.
Your carriage came to a halt and you jumped out following behind your father. He goes straight over to the men while you look around the market because at this point you were just fed up and wanted to go home. You were about to head back to the horse and carriage but you were stopped by the sight of this beautiful tall blonde woman. You were entranced by her and you knew you couldn’t leave her behind for some pig of a man to buy her to most likely just use her for sex. You find the master of the woman in the area. “How much for the tall blonde?” You asked. The pig of a man looked you up and down “what do you want with her? I doubt you could even afford her!” He stated giving you a smug look. “Well if you give me a price I will be able to tell you if I can afford her” you said smirking back at him. “140 silver stags” he stated looking straight into your eyes to see if he could work out if you could afford her.
“Easy” you said, grabbing the money out of your pocket and handing it over to the master. He was shocked that you even had the money to afford her. “Now give me her key and we will be on our way. He rummaged around for her key before tossing it your way. “I really don’t know how you can afford a slave,” he stated. “Because I am the future ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. That is how I can afford her” you smirked before grabbing the woman you now owned and walked away. You were about to head off to the carriage but before you could even make it in that direction you heard your father call out to you. “Y/n why in the Seven Kindoms have you gone and bought yourself a slave. You couldn’t even have bought a male one. At least then he could’ve fought in our army” he moaned at you, clearly disappointed in your life choices. “I bought her because I wanted to. She will be coming with us for the rest of our journey whether you like it or not” you turned to your new slave “come on sweetheart. Let’s get you cleaned up” you said to her glancing up before pulling her by her hand rather than her chains to your carriage.
“So tell me what is your name and how did you end up in this situation?” You asked, pulling her into your carriage. “Well my name is Brienne of Tarth and as for how I got in this situation I was taken hostage and passed around from castle to castle. I was eventually sold to the masters where I was used until they finally had enough of me” she said, starting to sob. “Oh I’m so sorry Brienne. I didn’t mean to upset you. I was just curious how someone as beautiful as you could end up in a situation like that” you said placing a hand on her leg. “So what do you plan to do with me?” Brienne asked. “I plan to do nothing with you. I brought you your freedom” you said, picking up the key and unlocking her chains letting the metal hit the floor.
She looked at you with confusion and shock and then she started to cry. “I don’t understand. Why would you do that?” She asked. “Because I wanted to save you Brienne. No one no matter what they have done in their past deserves to be treated like that. It’s not called for. Now come on Brienne let’s get you back to the city. Stay here while I go and find my father. I won’t be long.” You leave Brienne in your carriage while you head off to find your father. You find him amongst the masters preparing to buy more slaves for his army. “Father a word once you have finished speaking” you said to him. He pulled you aside “what is it y/n?” He asked. “I’m going back home with the slaves you're sending back. I’ve had enough of this journey and I would like to get Brienne cleaned up.” You said telling your father rather than asking. “Who is Brienne?” He asked. “My slave that I bought. I’m taking her back to the city so I just wanted to say goodbye to you now.” You said to him turning on your heels and walking back to the carriage where you left Brienne.
You open up the carriage door to see Brienne sitting where you left her gazing around the carriage before her eyes landing on you. “Come on sweet one. We are going back to the city tonight. I will be honest it will most likely take a month before we arrive but it’s better than travelling further away without getting you cleaned up” you said to her grabbing a wolf skin so she could wrap herself in it. “We will head off today. Hopefully the sooner we head off the sooner we can get back” you said getting ready to leave sooner rather than later.
Over the next month you, Brienne, your fathers slaves and some of his men travel back to the city. Over the course of the journey you and Brienne became a lot closer and an unlikely friendship formed between the two of you. You learnt a lot about each other. Brienne loved to fight and she was actually really good at it. You asked one of your guards to let her borrow one of their swords so she could show me what skills she has. Turns out she is better than some of the best trained men in the army. She would be a great asset to our army but you knew that you wouldn’t force her to fight unless she actually wanted too. You also learnt that she was a knight but due to being captured and made a slave they stripped her of all her titles. You were to make sure as soon as you were back in the city that all of her previous titles would be restored.
As you arrived home you thanked your fathers men before heading up in the direction of the castle while they headed in the direction of the cells where the rest of the slaves are currently being kept. You took Brienne up to the communal baths so she could finally get cleaned up. “Here you go Brienne. I’ve made sure that no one else will enter. Take as long as you need in here even if you just want to relax. I will be back in a little bit to come get you to show you to your room” you said to her. “Thank you so much y/n you have been so kind to me. I thank you for saving me. Who knew what would’ve happened if some pig of a man bought me. I’m glad it was you who rescued me” she said to you with a small smile on her pale dirty face. “I will be back soon” you said as you turned around and headed up to your own room to find something for Brienne to change into.
After about an hour you decided to head back down to the baths to check on Brienne. You knocked on the door and slowly entered to see Brienne quickly put her top over her damp body. “Sorry I didn’t mean to disturb you. Just wanted to check on you. Did you enjoy your bath?” You asked blushing due to the amount of skin you just saw. “Yes it was lovely y/n. I do thank you for allowing me to clean up.”
“Well let’s get you to your room” you suggested as you guided Brienne through the castle and up to her room which was conveniently next to yours. Brienne gasped as you entered, clearly not prepared for the luxury of the room. “I’ve laid out some clothes for you that I believe should fit. If they don’t please let me know and I will have some tailored for you” you said to her showing her the clothes that you had left on her bed. “Thank you y/n, I really don’t know what to say”
“Don’t say anything Brienne. It’s the least I could do for you. I also wanted to let you know all your previous titles will also be restored. You shouldn’t be stripped of them just because you were forced into slavery. I’m also currently having a suit of armour and sword custom made for you. Once it is ready you are more than welcome to leave and head back on your journey wherever that may be now that you're a free woman” you smiled at her trying not to let the disappointment swarm your face at the thought of your new friend leaving to continue their journey that they were on before they were enslaved.
“Actually y/n, I’ve decided to stay here if that is ok with you. I would love to become your personal knight. You saved my life and it would be my honour to protect yours from this moment forward” she said standing to her full height and walking over to you placing a hand on both sides of your shoulder.
“I would love that Brienne. I will make sure you will always have a place at my table and never let you go without food. I will never ask anything of you that may bring your name dishonour. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us” you said with a smile from ear to ear.
“Me either your grace” she said smiling just as wide as you were. You couldn’t wait to see what the future would bring for you both.

The dress your father had sent, definitely sent chills up your spine, and goosebumps covered you arms. But the blue of the dress complimented your skin tone; it adorned your skin in the best way.
The jewels that were connected to the dress, rested on your bare skin, causing you to shiver. Sansa was the first one to see you in it, and she couldn’t help but to run her fingers along the fabric.
“You look beautiful. I wish my mother would allow me to wear something like this.” She said and Catelyn gave you a small smile, “Hopefully you don’t freeze.” She said simply.
When Robb saw you, he couldn’t help but to touch your bare shoulder and offer you his cloak. “You look beautiful. That color looks beautiful on you.” He said as he pressed a kiss to your hair. “When we are to marry, I want you in this dress…” he said before he left your side.
But when Jon seen you, his opinion was the only one that mattered. Jon’s thoughts raced through his mind like a herd of wild colts; his breath was caught in his throat. When he approached you, he was tongue tied.
“Y/N… Y/N, you look wonderful l-.” He whispered as he looked you up and down. “I need to see you tonight. I’ll meet you in your room.” He said before he let you answer. After he left your side, Robb came back, only to escort you down to meet the King and the Queen. “They arrived while you were getting ready.” Robb said as he helped you down the stairs.
King Robert and Queen Cersei stood there in front of the castle, “King Robert, Queen Cersei, this is Princess Y/N of Rivendell, daughter of King Elrond of Rivendell.” Ned introduced you and Robert eyed you with a smile. But you bowed, just like your handmaiden told you to do.
But Queen Cersei had an eyebrow raised, “I didn’t know there were other royals within the seven kingdoms. The royals that are, are against the throne.” She said and her husband shot her a look.
“Woman, it is fine. Her father promised Ned an army whenever he needed it. He’s an ally, and so is she. She is promised to Ned’s boy, Robb. Therefore, they are trustworthy.” He said as Cersei continued to stare at you in disapproval.
“This must be a change for you, m’lady.” Robert said as he looked at your attire. “Go from the heat to this cold hell.” He said with a laugh that erupted from his belly. “Yes, my King. It is quite a change, but it is worth it to be with Lord Stark and his family.” You replied and Catelyn gave you a smile.
Robert turned to face Ned, and Robb escorted you away from the King and Queen. “That went fairly well.” You say as you looked over your shoulder. The queen continued to watch you walk away with your future husband.
Robb smiled, “Cersei has finally met her match when it comes to beauty.” He said and it made you smile.
“I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to see her eyes follow every move I made.” You say quietly as he helped you up the stairs. “I thought you’d want to come and grab your cloak, and we can go for a walk.” Robb said. You picked your cloak off your bed, and went for a walk with Robb until it was time for the feast.
_______
When it was time for the feast, you were sat next to Robb and the rest of the “royal” children. But Jon was sat with the squires; alone, left with a cup of wine in his hand.
His eyes never left you, and your eyes never left him. “Well aren’t you a beauty.” Cersei said pulling you out of your trance. “The Elven people are beautiful people.” She said as she sat down next to you. Cersei touched the skin of your cheek, “As a child, I believed it was all lies. But as I sit here next to you, there is truth behind the Elven stories. You truly are beautiful.”
Robb sat back and watched the interaction between the two of you. “I imagine you two will have beautiful babies. His blue eyes, with the perfect Elven skin…” she began, “Maybe one of my grandchildren will be able to marry one of your children.” She said and you smiled.
“Maybe.” You replied and she pushed a strand of your hair behind your ear. “What is your age, my child?” She asked and you replied, “18, my Queen.”
Cersei smiled as she drank the wine from her cup. “Are you use to having all eyes on you?” She asked and you shook your head. The cold Queen sat her cup down and leaned closer to you.
“Relish in the fact you captivate men’s attention. Because once you’re married, there’s a chance that your husband won’t look at you like that anymore.” She said as she took another drink. “Then he will have whores, and you’ll just be there at his disposal.” She said and Robb moved forward like he was going to lunge.
“Excuse me my Queen, but I wouldn’t dare treat Y/N like a common whore. I am to love her. Always.” He said and the Queen chuckled. “Just wait until her beauty fades, my young lord. Then you will surely change your mind.” She said as she sauntered away back to her husband.
“If you don’t mind my lord, I think I shall call it a night.” You say as walk around the table towards him. You leaned down and whispered in his ear, “Don’t worry about coming to my room tonight. I don’t want us to get in trouble.” You say as you pressed a kiss to the shell of his ear.
After bidding adieu to the King, Queen, Lord Stark, and Lady Stark, you left the big room, and all eyes followed you out.
————
When you got up to your room, you slipped off your shoes. As soon as you kicked them off your feet, there was a knock at the door.
Jon entered your room and quickly shut the door and barred it shut. “Jon, what are you—?”
He grabbed both sides of your face and kissed your lips. It was needy, you mashed your lips against his. You could feel the stubble that was growing back on his face against your cheek.
To be continued………

A Game of Thrones, Tyrion II
His own remote ancestor, King Loren of the Rock, had tried to stand against the fire when he joined with King Mern of the Reach to oppose the Targaryen conquest.
That was close on three hundred years ago, when the Seven Kingdoms were kingdoms, and not mere provinces of a greater realm.
Between them, the Two Kings had six hundred banners flying, five thousand mounted knights, and ten times as many freeriders and men-at-arms.
Aegon Dragonlord had perhaps a fifth that number, the chroniclers said, and most of those were conscripts from the ranks of the last king he had slain, their loyalties uncertain.
The hosts met on the broad plains of the Reach, amidst golden fields of wheat ripe for harvest.
When the Two Kings charged, the Targaryen army shivered and shattered and began to run.
For a few moments, the chroniclers wrote, the conquest was at an end…
…But only for those few moments, before Aegon Targaryen and his sisters joined the battle.
It was the only time that Vhagar, Meraxes, and Balerion were all unleashed at once.
The singers called it the Field of Fire.
Near four thousand men had burned that day, among them King Mern of the Reach.
King Loren had escaped, and lived long enough to surrender, pledge his fealty to the Targaryens, and beget a son, for which Tyrion was duly grateful.
