AU where LQG, for the sake of his shixiong, tries to spend a bit more time in the demon realm/interact because he believes his shixiong wants him to be more accustomed to them — thus be more accustomed to his annoying husband.
But it ends up being LQG accidentally integrates with the demons, forming the most unholy trio with MBJ and SHL (in-law, much to his distress), who get into all types of chaos.
Also; New annonymously posted Bingqiu centered series that adds the war-god as the third — which has LQG breaking down (Le Gamegrumps "I'm done, I'm fucking done") over it. SHL and MBJ are half between comforting him (in other words, fighting to forget) or basically making fun of him and the book-him.

Since the Peak Lord of Cang Qiong change leadership when the former generation ascends, has anyone ever asked SY why he hasn’t ascended and how would he deal with that question. My bet is that he makes up some vague excuse that everyone interprets differently.
Like some think that he’s staying here out of choice because there some vague de rois threat that only he can take care of.
Other think that it’s because he wants to avoid someone who has ascended *cough cough* former lover *cough cough*
Etc etc
It’d be funny to see how he inadvertently spreads rumours of his mystique and prowess by doing nothing
No one would dare question an elder like that - that's so rude! But gossiping behind the Old Palace Master's back is fair game.
There's a number of running theories - all unconfirmed but there's a LOT of evidence that certainly points in those directions. Okay here's some of them:
The Old Palace Master hasn't finished studying all the creatures and plants in the mortal and demonly realm. He wants to discover them all before he moves onto studying the heavenly beasts.
Although the cultivation world preaches cultivators to lose their attachments to the mortal realm, the Old Palace Master has a LOT of attachments to people that he doesn't want to leave behind. There's disciples, pets, and even mortal food cough cough.
The Old Palace Master can ward off some suitors via seniority and status down here. In the heavenly realm, he loses that layer of protection. :)
The Old Palace Master has Beef with some god named... Airplane? They can't exist in the same realm together without Attempted Murder.

I just want a crack fic where the System has two separate bodies (one for Shàng Qīnghuá, one for Shěn Qīngqiū, and only they can see them) that are actually really good friends with Mèng Mó and Xīnmó (who also have corporeal forms, that only Luò Bīnghé can see) and Shàng Qīnghuá has to go see Shěn Qīngqiū and Luò Bīnghé every few days so his System doesn't start whining about how she misses her husband and sister (yes, this ends with the two Systems being married to Mèng Mó and Xīnmó, because who am I if not a shipper?). Mobei-jun has worn a chastity cage for the past week as punishment for not following his lover’s words one night. Shang Qinghua teased him all week, but now he can have his reward.

The closer he was getting to the end of the week, the more desperate Mobei-Jun was getting, but the more excited he was too. He was finally going to be able to be freed because he had been /a good boy/ all week and surely Shang Qinghua saw it.
And he’d finally be out of this chastity cage.
His husband was punishing him for touching himself when he was not allowed to do so. Mobei-Jun would lie if he said he hadn’t somewhat done it on purpose, he had wanted a little punishment for disobeying his master.
But he hadn’t expected /that/ to be his punishment.
A full week in a chastity cage, unable to touch himself, nor could he touch Shang Qinghua (the man sure knew how much Mobei-Jun liked to serve him, even without just his hands and mouth).

And when he needed to use the bathroom he had to be careful, since anyone could see him.

“I see you’ve listened well this week,” Shang Qinghua started, a foot brushing up his thigh to his crotch, “Did you learn your lesson?”.
“Yes,” Mobei-Jun quickly replied, sounding both eager and desperate to have him agree. It did seem to amuse his husband.
“Then I suppose I can end your punishment here, seeing how much of a good boy you were this week” Shang Qinghua hummed, feet now teasing him. “I’ll need you to undress for me then” he smiled.
He didn’t need to be told twice, Mobei-Jun already getting up to take off his clothes. He didn’t hesitate to make it a little show for Shang Qinghua, knowing the man seemed to enjoy seeing him put on a show for him.
Although in his excitement he might have made it quicker than usual.
“Come here again” Shang Qinghua smiled, twirling keys around his finger.
Again, Mobei-Jun didn’t need to be told twice, coming to stand in front of Shang Qinghua who carefully unlocked the cage and took it off of him. He bites back the sound of satisfaction that came to him upon finally being freed.
“You look so desperate for relief,” he pointed out, hands on his hips pushing down. He didn’t fight, kneeling down yet again at his feet. “Why don’t you keep being a good boy and show me how desperate you were,” Shang Qinghua asked, feet now teasing his already growing erection, “Without your hands” he added with a grin.
Mobei-Jun didn’t even complain about the request, not really caring that he couldn’t use his hand.
He instead started humping against the foot that was still teasing him, before moving Shang Qinghua’s leg a little. He waited a breath to see if it was alright, before starting to hump against his leg instead.

- Something related to Bingge or atleast Xin Mo (Alternate or otherwise) happens and it rips a small hole in the universe
- Liu Qingge accidentally falls through it, and into the modern world
- Gets found by a group of friends who live together and thought he was just a cosplayer that had been caught out in the storm/left without transport
- Quickly figure out that's not the case when he does something like Fly on his sword/use qi
- Said Friend group adopts LQG as their newest friend and let him stay with 'em
- LQG is searching for a way back while simultaneously learning all the wonderful (and horrible) things about the modern world

Let's do pre-canon so we can have the Cang Qiong Qing generation of peak lords, newly ascending, struggling with their Big Fat Crush on the Old Palace Master, now that they get to really interact with Shen Yuan on a 1:1 level instead of through their shizun's.
Wife-beam halo makes Shen Yuan's life Harder. Firstly, it only works on guys. All the ladies do feel like they are being treated as daughters and granddaughters. Guys on the other hand... there's twinks who think they have found the perfect Sugar Granddaddy and tops who want to push down an older bottom. Yes that's correct, Su Xiyan is in the back of the room taking notes on Shen Yuan's interactions with other sect leaders, but unlike Liu Mingyan, it's not for writing stories but for Scientific Inquiry.)
Also the reason why Tianlang Jun didn't develop a crush on Old Palace Master is because he wanted to get Topped Hard and Su Xiyan asserted dominance first over the heavenly demon.
I guess in this AU, we ALSO NEED Liu Qingge to break into Old Palace Master's bedroom -but that's by accident. He was looking for his shizun's guest room in Huan Hua palace Anyhow, that's the start of Liu Qingge's crush...

For DC fandom there was this very short-lived wave of hairless Cats 2019 Jason Todd au fanart. Idk how else to explain it. And while I only drew like one thing for it, I definitely encouraged and contributed to the conception of this horrific au by hyping up tbe main contributors to do worse stuff behind the scenes.
