I choose No;Older Sibling cause it just be like that sometimes. Spinel was right to mad about it though.
Edit: My genuine thought is that this is her attempt to grow up not just because she was given a planet, but because she doesn't want to be the Diamond who throws tantrums that hurt her loved ones after her accident with Pink Pearl. So she decides to distance herself from Spinel in an attempt to not hurt anyone else, to grow up so that she doesn't crack anyone else again(a value she carries with her for the rest of her life).
Her flaw was not considering Spinel's wants and needs. Cuz she gonna follow her instructions literally and no matter how nice that garden was Spinel needs social interaction. I just dislike the notion that Pink Diamond didn't care at all or just forgot about Spinel. She is very caring but doesn't know how to care for the people/gems she loves.

So I finally got around to watching Red White and Royal Blue last weekend. And before I get into my post, they really picked the PERFECT actors for everyone, but especially Alex and Henry. The chemistry was ridiculously good!!
And I did almost start crying when coming out became a topic in the movie - just, god. I wish my parents had been like Ellen Claremont and Oscar Diaz when I came out as bi, and Alex’s monologue about how coming out should never be forced upon someone was beautiful. The ending scene really stuck with me too, honestly. I know I’ll end up rewatching it really, really soon.
But now that we have an amazing Red, White, and Royal Blue movie, I can’t help but hope for an adaptation of One Last Stop.
One Last Stop means so much to me as a slightly lonely queer girl who has no idea what to do with her life. I can’t count how many times I’ve reread it - it must be at least twelve, and I only got it last year. It’s a story about finding your own people and making your own space, about the terrors of becoming an adult, about all the complex emotions about being queer - but there’s queer joy, even in times that seem so dark. It’s about how we’ve ALWAYS been here. It’s about grief. It’s about hope. It’s about the past, haunting you, and the future, stretching out in front of you with no way to get off. Time is such a large part of this novel, you know?
It’s about August and Jane, and how they connect so well, despite seeming so opposite of each other. Their chemistry is LITERALLY electric. It’s about falling in love on the train, and then getting to know each other and ACTUALLY knowing them, and loving them even more. I’d literally sell my soul for a good movie adaptation of it.
Also, if I could get lines like this on screen, I could probably die happy.
so, yeah. #onelaststopmovie2k23.

Someone (not me) has gotta write a crossover where The “Child of the Stars” Collector is exploring space and just finds Spinel in Pink Diamond’s garden, desperately waiting for someone to play with.
And then they spend the rest of eternity as best friends and playmates and nothing bad happens.

i know this is an unpopular opinion but Spinel is very overated, and i actually feel uncomfortable about how many people completly take her side. she lost my pity the moment she thoght it was okay to take her personal hurt and anger towards one person as an excuse to hurt a bunch of strangers and destroy an entire planet. i dont care what that one person did. its no excuse, and most of the fandom seems to think it is

My original hope for Scream 5 after seeing how they showed Sam attacking Richie in the damn TV spots was that she either hallucinates him as Billy or Ghostface, or that she becomes convinced that it’s him, but in this scenario, it’s not him or Amber. (My hope was this.) This would still allow the Kirsches to be the killers in 6 because somehow (even though it was covered up) they find out that Sam is the one who killed Richie.
