Finished The Prisoner's Throne and these are my thoughts! (Spoilers)

I like how sure Oak is about his love for Wren, it is sweet!

Wren murdering the guard in cold blood who went behind her back and tortured Oak oooooooOO

I wish they did more with the bridle but I suppose HB didn't want Wren to do smthg that may have been unforgivable

Oak's betrothal plan to Wren was very smart in my opinion, I didn't know how he was planning to prevent the war from starting and was caught off guard by the engagement announcement and I love being surprised! It reminded me of Cardan and Jude's arrangement in TWK but was different in its own right like Oak clearly would have happily married her without all the drama too.

I laughed out loud when Cardan turned the Ghost into a tree like A TREE?? Out of all the things I expected to happen in this book, this would have NEVER occurred to me. How does HB think of these things

When Wren hatched from a chrysalis and was reborn with wings at the end??????? That was also VERYYY unique and random. I was like wtf just happened but I vibe with it??

Jude and Cardan were sooooo adorable in this book, their moments were chef's kiss

Like when Cardan answered Jude's question and ignored Taryn completely, he has his priorities straight

OMG AND WE GOT CLOSURE ON VALERIAN'S CURSE ON JUDE. I thought that part was super cool and protective Cardan was>>>

I did feel sorry for Taryn when the Ghost died, like I wasn't sad when he died but I do feel bad for her

Did anyone else think Cardan was going to tell Oak that him and Jude are going on a 'business trip' to make a child and was on the edge of their seat only for him to say they are attending Nicasia's courting trials? I really thought

I already guessed the next book would be about Nicasia but I was realllllly hoping it would be about Jude and Cardan's kid(s) instead cuz like idgaf about Nicasia

I adored Oak defending Wren to his mother

OMG TIERNAN AND HYACINTH WERE ADORABLEEEE. When they reunited and Tiernan dejectedly said Hyacinth hated everyone including him but Hyacinth immediately said 'not you' I dIED. And their push and pull was so cuteee

Wren closing her eyes and accepting her death by Oak’s hands was so sad ngl but luckily he put two and two together in time

Overall, I loved all the callbacks to the original Cruel Prince characters and storylines. I think I liked the plot of the Stolen Heir a bit better but this book was more fast paced and had a lot more drama due to Oak's family being there which I adored. LOVED ITT

Jude completely ate every second she was in the book like that is my girl right there, I love her so much

I just wanna say that one of my favorite things in The Sandman was Goldie (so cuteee) and I can't stop thinking about Dream giving reader her own baby gargoyle and she's so excited because it is so beautiful 😭 the moment she holds the gargoyle in her arms for the first time she's like "Oh. My. God. I'm a mother now. This is my child."

Goldie is my child and my sweet baby

Dream gifting you your own gargoyle after gushing about Goldie for so long and you melt on sight

Dream calmly shows you a rather large egg and says, “For you, my dear.”

You are a little confused, but take the egg. The second the egg is in your hands, warmth radiates from it and cracks soon appear. In seconds, you are staring down at tiny emerald green gargoyle with tiny wings that flap excitedly and massive black eyes (eyes that remind you of Dream). You instantly hold the gargoyle close to your chest with tears in your eyes and say “I love them!”

You sit on the floor gently cooing and playing with them as you try to come up with a name. “Well, like Cain and Abel said it should start with a G. Gwen? George? Oh, god I’m not good at this.”

“Gilly,” Dream suggests.

“Gilly?” Your heart swells. You immediately scoop them up. “Oh my sweet Gilly.”

Gilly squeaks and smiles with little sharp teeth.

From then on, Gilly is by your side the whole time whether sitting on your shoulder, in your arms, flying by your head, or running at your feet.

Also all of this means play dates with Gilly and Goldie as you and Abel gush together

You obviously spoil Gilly

And when you are in the Waking, Gilly clings to Dream and whines wishing for you to come back and when you do return they fly straight towards to smacking into your chest nuzzling their face into you

Sea Serpent Headcanons (Jake Long x Ruby Gillman)

Considering Jake and Ruby are from different races it could be somewhat frowned upon or problematic in a way. Which could bring in some angst and drama (I love drama!)

Jake holding Ruby in her Giant Kraken form to prove how strong his love for her! That is the most cheesiest but sweetest thing ever done.

I can imagine the dragon council being terrified of the possibilities of a Dragon and Kraken one day having a child that has both of their parents abilities so they try and set Jake up with Noble Dragonesses but tend to forget (as always) that dragon's are loyal to their partners.

Grandmamah on the other hand is very suspicious because the only dragon's she's ever faced was the leviathan and a Hydra which both are somewhat water dragons and that there are confirmed evil dragon's in Jake Long canon.

Jake introduces Ruby to dragon media like Spyro The Dragon and Httyd.

Ruby holding Jake in her hand and says "This is my lizard boyfriend, he's stupid but he means well." Jake just pouts at the truth of him being dumb but still finds it funny.

When they first met Ruby did not want to interact with him due to his extroverted and overtop personality that somehow winds up in detention but after spending time with him she can't understand how she fell in love with him

Jake just fell head over heels for Ruby just by her sweetheart personality and how smart she is.

Btw there is a potion in Jake Long lore that is can permanently change your species. So if Ruby and Jake are forbidden to date or start a life together he could always sacrifice his Draconic heritage just to be with Ruby as a Kraken.

Ruby secretly looked up skateboard lessons on YT just to share his love for skateboarding.

Jake tends to have the draconic instincts to treasure any gifts is given to him and put it in a secret compartment... basically his treasure horde. Ruby does this but it's to treasure his adorable trinkets.

I think there's more but I would like your shared thoughts on this?

Oooh. I feel like the conflict would definitely come more from the Dragon side of the things. Krakens being deep within the sea means they've hardly ever had to deal with most normal-type dragons and thus probably don't have much of relationship with them compared to krakens vs mermaids. The dragons on the other hand would judge more if only because royal krakens are so much bigger (and potentially dangerous).

My gosh. Imagine....a giant kraken kid that has wings so it can fly. That child would be utterly unstoppable. All three bases are covered in sea, land, and air. A;lkajsdfasd

Yeah, I agree with that. Then she kinda calms down when the dragons say they're not really associated with their sea-based cousins.

Hehehehe! That's so cute and true. Jake is forever envious over how good Ruby is at her school subjects while still balancing protection work. Granted, it can be too much for Ruby sometimes so having Jake around to help out is a great relief for her and vice versa.

Ppfft yeah that sounds about right. Initially off-put by him but once they realized how similar they are in terms of backgrounds and desires, they start bonding more and more.

Ooooooooh. Could he become a sea dragon though?

Sunday was so strange and I'm having a crisis because I can't quite assimilate it, the thing is that that day I saw my best friend early to plan our customes very well and everything, we arrived at the place where my friends were going to play like At 6:30 and it was already very dark, the first one who greeted us was Marco and he stayed there with us for a little while, then my friend Diana was like lets get high and I followed her, but I think It hit me so fast and I wasnt feeling very well, so I went to sit down and I it was so weird since I felt that hours had already passed and hardly minutes had passed indeed kdkd, I really didn't like feeling like that, I was able to get up and go to the bathroom and I found Dante there, then he hugged me really tight And the truth was that I felt very good, I had not seen him for a long time and I was worried about him, but he looked happy and that made me feel better, I asked him for some water and told me that he didnt have any, I should go where he was, but I really just wanted to get back to my senses bc the truth Is that it was being very frustrating and I couldn't have fun, a lot of things happened from that point until my friends started playing, When they started, I got as close as I could and it was a lot of fun, I was very excited and happy because it was the first time I saw them play live, I think my friend wasnt feeling it, but I was sooo happy and I feel kind of bad bc she wanted us to leave from the front, I had previously gone to see them play but something always happened that prevented it and this time I was able to do it and I cannot express how happy I was

. Now, when they were playing I went to my friend Fer's side and there was this dude who asked me my name, his name is Dan, after that every time he saw me he would say my name, like he would pass by my side and said "Xim right?" with this lovely smile and I smiled at him back everytime, after my friends finished playing I went to sit with my friends in the grass and my friend chino was very drunk, I was taking pictures of him and making fun of how fun he was looking, he brought hats and parts of costumes of all the people at the party jdjdk it was very fun to see him there dancing all the time, the thing is that Daniel came over and sat down and Diana offered him to smoke some weed and he did it and sat next to me, then he started to see my tattoos and he told me that they were really cute and then he showed me his and told me about the way he liked to draw and told me that my boots and my photos and little drawings were very cute and I didnt know what to answer so I just was smiling very shy, then he asked me what I my costume was bc at that point I was no longer wearing one jdjdk so I showed him my wings (I was an ángel) and he put them on: ((((He looked so cuteee, then he stood up and grabbed my hand and took me to the stage, noveno portal was playing and he made me dance with him and brooo, I was so happy and I felt so kdkd bc all night I was waiting for someone to dance like that with me and we jumped and shouted and he did it and also brought my wings and I am the queen of romanticize whatever so I was there looking at him, then we went back to where my friends and he left With his friends and I was there all dkdkfl dying and happy and he returned about 5 minutes to say goodbye to us and as he approached he asked me if he could kiss me 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ the truth was the way he asked me was really attractive to me, even When I looked at Diana she gave me that very much libra look and I, like the powerful virgo that I am.... TOLD HIM NOOOOO 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ KWIDOEOFOFEOFOEW and then he just looked at me and smiled and I told him that "later" and he said to me, "later?" but with this very nice tone, I almost lost my soul fr, I hate dudes for having these cute voices, the thing is that I hug him because I felt very sorry and shy and he hugged me too and OMGGGKDKDDKK we lasted like 5 minutes like that I could hear his heart beat, and I'm sorry and crying I don't know WhY I told him no, I was afraid to do it maybr and I'm devastated because of that tbh, then before leaving he asked if I lived close there and I told him my noo and then just left and my friends were cofused like me and I feel silly because I just skdkfk and I'm thinking and thinking about that I just cant help it, and he gave me such lovely vibe, he was so kind and respectful all the time which I shouldnt romanticize but kdkd so I was wondering if I should invite him myself to go to another gig that my friends are going to present but I don't know, I already got a lot of panic Im doubting so much, like what if it only was a party thing and I am already this excited, I hate meeen I hate that they make me feel things dkdlf

Suzuko and Ryoko actually have two biological kids (because cool science can make that happen) Their first son is named Ryunosuke and his quirk is half cow. Basically, he’s like a saytr, but cow. He has hooves, a tail like him Mom, horns like his mom, and the best part is he has little black spots on his skin like his mom and a heart shaped spit on his forehead!!! Ugh, I love my little cow-boy. And their youngest daughter is named Ichiho. She looks almost exactly like Suzuko but she has little wings that can barely get her off the ground. She has two different colored eyes, the colors are purple and gold and those were the colors of Suzuko’s eyes before she went blind. Ichiho’s quirk is called Snake Bite which means her entire mouth is poisonous. One bite equals death. She has to wear a specialized mask everywhere she goes so she doesn’t accidentally hurt anyone. And I think that’s it! I’m super glad you liked my rant and the lore for all my OC’s I worked super hard on them! -🍄

Summary: You and Victor are in Black Mask club every friday. This time it was different. Harley Quinn will find out your obvious relationship with Victor.

You had drinks, food, fun for free and you made few new friends there.

Every friday Victor took you to Black Mask club, where you had fun. Since Victor worked there for Roman Sionis, you were something like VIP guest.

"Babe, I am not wearing that," Victor smiled.

"We will see that," you smirked and threw on Victor new suit.

Few minutes later, you both walked out from your house. You, in your dresses that Victor gave you on 5th aniversary and Victor in suit, that he didn't liked but since you refused going with him in sweatpants he had to wear the suit.

"Are you sure this is how it should be?" Victor moved with his black tie, pulling it from side to side.

"Don't worry, you look still pretty," you smiled and gave him kiss on cheek.

"Well, I was worried," Victor smirked.

Victor opened you doors to club and you both walked in. Club was for Victor something like second home and for you too.

You both sat in reserved booth, when Victor's boss in fancy blue suit came to you.

"Hello (y/n), I hope you are enjoying it here. I'm sorry, but can I steal you Victor for a minute?" Roman asked and you nodded.

"Hi Roman, of course. I don't mind, but you have to promise me you will return him back," you both laughed and Victor felt a bit embarassed. He still smiled to make situation less awkward.

"Kay, it's just something about job. He will be back in moment," said Roman and looked at weird couple with bags stuffed with some of his club decorations.

"Speaking of stealing.. We really have to go."

"I'm gonna order you some drinks babe," Victor said and gave you kiss.

"Be carefull honey and have fun," you waved to them, knowing Victors dangerous job.

Your phone was beeping 24/7 so you pulled it out from bag and turned notifications off.

"Hey, you have to be new here!" somebody behind you screamed and hugged you. At first, you were shocked becouse the person behind you had to be very drunk.

"Excuse me," you slowly moved away from her hug, looking at her.

"Wait a moment, aren't you the Jokers girl?" you asked her, slowly moving away from her. Victor few times told you about this girl, she was crazy. Girlfriend of Roman's enemy.

"I guess so," she sadly smiled at you and jumped to Victor's seat.

"How's life?" she asked you. You were paying attention to lady which brought you drinks, one for your husband Victor and second for you.

"Yeah.. It's good actually, what about you?" you told her, slowly sipping your drink, while Harley finished Victor's drink.

"My life is a mess," she laughed.

"What are you doing here?" you asked her curiously.

"Drkinking, having fun.." Harley sadly looked down and saw your ring with angel wing on it.

"Who is the lucky person?" she asked, grabbing your hand, slowly observing the ring.

"My husband," you smiled and it was obvious you had no intention talking about Victor with Harley.

"Aww, it's so nice when people love eachother," she sobbed and hugged you in tears. Did Joker broke up with her? Or is this some kid of trap?

You hugged her back, and that was when Victor came back.

"(Y/n) get away from her," Victor yelled at you and pulled you away from Harley.

"What are you doing here Quinn?" Victor hissed at her and pulled you behind him.

"Vicky, darling, I just met (Y/n), she is awesome," Harley laughed and wanted to drink more from Victor's empty glass, "And she is in relationship!"

"And?" Victor lifted eyebrows, still keeping you behind him.

Only then Harley saw Victor's ring with little devil horns on it.

"OMG!" Harley squealed.

Victor rolled his eyes.

"Vicky, I thought you were with Roman! How is this possible? I mean, you are so nice," Harley pointed at you, pushing you and Victor closer to eachother.

"You have to show me your wedding photos!" Harley still talked and you slowly looked on Victor.

"Please ignore her babe," Victor whispered to you.

"And Victor has a suit, first time in life! Looks like you have a good influence on him," Harley smirked at you and you laughed.

"Did he just called you babe?" Harley was jumping around you both.

"That's so cuteee," Harley yelled and took drinks from waitress.

"We have to celebrate that," Harley smiled and gave you glasses with alcohol.

"I think you had enough now," you took the glasses away from her, taking her to booth before she nearly felt.

"What? There is never enoug of fun," Harley mumbled and laid on couch.

You came back to Victor and gave him an awkward smile.

"Well, that was interesting.." you smiled and kissed Victor.

He kissed you back and took your hand.

"Would you dance with me Mrs. Zsasz?" Victor asked you taking your hand like a real gentleman.

"I'm not sure Vic.." you were shy, but Victor pulled you with him to the dance floor and you both started dance under green and orange lights.

You were laughing and when music ended, Victor hugged you and kissed you.

After many more dances and many more glasses, you decided to stay for few days in Black Mask club since Roman afforded you both one empty apartment.

being a part of the ensemble in hamilton definitely had its perks, one of you favourite was getting to jasmine perform every night. whether you waited in the wings and looked while she performed say no to this or stole side glances in the schuyler sisters. she talked to you on a few occasions but truly you didn’t know how jasmine did it, she was so confident. maybe thats why you were attracted to her, in all honesty you didn't know and that’s why you went to pippa to ask for advice.

“hey pips can i talk to you for a second?” you sheepishly asked, poking your head round the dressing room door.

“yeah sure, what do you need?” she smiled.

“i like jasmine but i’m not sure how to ask her out, any advice?”

“oh my gosh! maybe now she’ll finally shut uppitiest about you,”

“what do you mean?”

“she talks about you non stop! you’ll have no problem asking her out, just invite her for drinks or something,”

“thank you!”

you knocked on jasmine’s dressing room door, your heart beating faster than ever before. after hearing a quick ‘come in’ you sheepishly shuffled through the doorway and sat down on the chair in the corner. you had to admit jasmine was an amazing decorator, the space was filled with plants and bright-coloured posters.

“are you okay?” she asked probably wondering why you appeared in her dressing room without really saying a word. you stayed silent for a quick second, fiddling with the hem of your shirt.

“are you free this friday, we could go on a date?” you did it, you had finally asked out the ‘love of your life’, now was the hard part; rejection.

or so you thought.

“wait, you mean like a date date,” you nodded, “oh, wow, i never thought you’d ask!” she spun around in her chair dropping the makeup compact she was using. being polite, you went to pick it up but apparently she had the same plan, you stopped for a few moments, taking in her features but were quickly rushed back to reality with a 10 minute call.

you couldn’t wait for friday.

And listen Ranpo is snarky, he’s smart, he’s funny, and he even has the detective hat, he’d be the PERFECT Pikachu. Kinda mirroring his canon arc of growing closer with the tiger in canon... And I could just imagine... Them? I’ll say them for now. Anyways, I can imagine them being some kinda fluffy, wintery dragon with black on white stripes and feathery wings and big claws and fangs. Just this enormous fluffball of a dragon who likes to chase lights and can snap you in half in one bite (and maybe they become mates with Dazai’s dragon? I’m always finding stuff like that cute). And I’m trying, don’t worry!!! Just hadn’t slept well, and I’m often tired, anyways. To be fair, it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as when I had such bad time anxiety that I refused to sleep so I could wake up on time for school and then punished myself with not eating if I fell asleep. I. Did not understand how Rest worked, I think. Moving on, though- Again to another AU Concept: My coffee shop AU! Which I know fiction romanticizes but shush. (Nyanon, 5/6)

Wherein Atsushi and some others run a coffee-book shop combo that’s frequented by the canon organizations, though the PM isn’t organized crime here. I’d imagine that they’re the ADA night shift? Because why not. Also Oda is alive. Anyways, I’m thinking that the workers are Atsushi (obviously), Lucy, Sigma, and Poe? And possibly Junichirou and Naomi- I’d say Kyouka, but she’d more be Atsushi’s younger sister who comes by to do homework and hang out with him when he has down time. (Nyanon, 6/6)

V Watches MagiReco - Episode 8 Review

*Spoilers for Magia Record Anime Episode 8*

Okay, I was not expecting to enjoy this week’s episode as much as I did! :O From the anime’s pattern so far, I was fully expecting a slower episode with less action as they introduced the next main character (in this case Sana), but this episode had a lot of deviations from the game that did a lot of good, in my opinion!

Lots of positive things to say again for this review ^0^ And no, it’s not just because of that Kanagi “cameo” (even though there WILL be at least one paragraph of me screaming about that LOL you have been warned) xD

I think the slower pace of this episode gave us a really good chance to see how the main characters have adjusted and truly integrated themselves into their new lives. We see Iroha starting at her new school, Felicia starting her part-time job at Banbanzai, Tsuruno visiting to deliver bento boxes for Iroha and the two going to school together... so many small details that seem unimportant to the plot but really give us a good picture of the characters’ new lives and relationships. And that’s really important stuff. They seem to have taken a longer time and really drew out the introduction of this new Rumour rather than immediately rushing into the next one, and this gives the main cast some room to breathe and just be themselves, and also gives the audience a sense of some time having passed as well.

It was also really nice to see Rena back! Seems strange to me that Momoko wasn’t with her, but I was starting to worry that Momoko’s team would be forgotten and pushed to the background, so I was quite pleased to see them still popping up every now and then. The episode also gave us some quality Iroha and Rena bonding, which is kind of bittersweet when you consider that both of them either don’t have friends or always find themselves somehow isolated from the crowd. Rena is still a prickly little tsundere, but seeing her waiting for Iroha and giving her more information and talking with her really put a smile on my face :) I really want Rena and Iroha to be able to make more friends, and it’s super cute when the new friends are none other than each other ^^

Also, the thing about Kaede is really interesting. I’m sure this is an anime-original plot point, but I’m wondering how this is going to tie in with Sana’s arc, or any other part of the Main Story. Rena confirms that Kaede hasn’t actually disappeared; she still comes to school, but rushes home immediately after and doesn’t talk or reply to anyone. We also see her at home with all her plants at the beginning (cute!). I’m guessing she’s still traumatised from that Doppel experience and hasn’t figured out what’s going on, so is too afraid of getting close to her friends in fear of hurting them? Whatever they’re planning, I hope it has some relevance to that post-credits scene in episode 5 so we get some closure to what actually happened and the scene won’t seem so “cool but random” lmao.

Alright imma get this out of the way. (Feel free to skip this paragraph if you’re not interested in hearing me gush about my queen.) K A N A G I I Z U M I. If anyone reading this has been following my past MagiReco posts or knows anything about me at all, you’ll know that I’m absolute trash for Kanagi Izumi xD My best girl may be Iroha, but Kanagi is a character I really admire, respect, and adore. Anyway, I saw the official MagiReco Twitter account post about a Kanagi rate-up banner and was hella confused but excited because my queen was not supposed to appear until... at least until Tsuruno is captured by the Magius and Felicia and Sana have returned. So I guess it makes sense that it was in the form of a “mysterious person on the phone” rather than an actual debut, but gosh as soon as I heard her voice I almost lost it AHHHHHHHHHH （♥>ｏ<♥） This eases any fears I had of her being cut from the anime (I would have hunted down the studio if they made that decision LOL); not only is she not gonna be cut, but they gave her a surprise, mysterious, early introduction, too?!?!? YASSSSS (ᗒᗨᗕ)

Yachiyo’s phonecall with Kanagi is a surprising change to make because Kanagi’s presence is really “not very relevant” at this point, but I guess they really wanted to show how big the Wings of Magius' influence is. As Kanagi says, they’ve taken most of the girls from the East by now. I’m wondering what anime-onlys would feel about this scene, since they probably have no idea who Yachiyo is talking to. If anything, it would probably add to the mystery surrounding Yachiyo (which I hope the anime goes into soon). I was a little conflicted at first because I really wanted Yachiyo’s first contact with Kanagi to seem like a “we haven’t spoken in ages but desperate times call for desperate measures” kind of thing, because with this scene, the next time they "openly” contact her won’t have that same impact. But then the more I think about it, the more I think this might actually be for the better. Kanagi’s introduction into the cast won’t feel like such a “random” thing (like, “oh wait, who are you and since when were you so important?”); Yachiyo has been in some degree of contact with her and she was “there" all along. So yeah, a good change in retrospect, and I’m never gonna say no to seeing (or hearing) more of Kanagi so I’m all for this change either way LOL

Okay enough rambling about Kanagi (OTL I’m so sorry). Felicia working at Banbanzai is just SO CUTE!!! She’s like a cute little gangster omg those glares and “HUHHH?!?!?” (I’d be scared too, Iroha) xD I think the character that’s gotten the best portrayal in the anime so far really is Felicia. And also the reveal that the reason for her getting into a fight and being sent to the police station was because she was defending Yachiyo and Iroha? CUTEEE OMG I LOVE THIS CHILD!!! She also has a really good sense of fashion hehe :D

The little snippet in there with Ui, Touka, and Nemu may seem a little out of place, but I was actually quite relieved to see them. Every week the anime is throwing new characters at its viewers, so I was worried that anime-only viewers wouldn’t even remember who Touka and Nemu are when they’re eventually revealed to be the Magius. I think it’s good to keep drilling them into viewers’ minds so as not to lose that “OMGGG” factor when they make their proper debut. Also it’s adorable how Ui throws teddy bears in their faces to stop them from arguing LOLLL

The radio show was a really good way to not only sneak in tiny “cameos” of other girls (I think it was Rika and Kanoko this week), but also give a nice picture of life in Kamihama. There’s a sense that Iroha really is a part of this city now, and it’s such a nice feeling to see everything “falling into place;” we’re no longer in those inconsistent and uncertain “introductory” episodes anymore, even though we still have one more major character to bring in. And the laughter coming from the phone is super creepy--cute, but in a really creepy way. All the illustrations for when they were talking about the Rumours this week were also really, really well-done. I have nothing much to say about them except “sasuga Inucurry” haha xD

I really was expecting Madoka and Homura to appear this week, but I guess we may have to wait a little bit more for that >_< BUT Tsukuyo did appear again in her “civilian” form! Iroha chasing her into that building was also a really nice change the anime made; some things really need to be animated for full impact, and I’m loving these minor changes and how much more they add to the characters and atmosphere! Anyway, Tsukuyo seems a lot more menacing here compared to her dine-and-dash incident in the game lmaooo, and I wasn’t expecting a Witch battle!

Speaking of Witch battle, I think this might be one of my main letdowns with this episode: I just really want to see Iroha fight more. I appreciate that she’s proactive in seeking answers and brave enough to jump into these situations despite knowing that she’s weak, but she hasn’t really contributed much in battles so far except a few Connects and using her Doppel. I want to see my girl Iroha go all-out and kick ass with her arrows!!! But it was nice to see the rest of Team Mikazuki showing up so quickly; there’s a real sense of them being an actual team now, and they’ve always got each other’s backs! It would have been nice if the rest of the team got to fight as well rather than Yachiyo taking all the spotlight, but at least Yachiyo was super cool haha (as usual). But the battle clearly isn’t the point of this episode, so I won’t pick on it too much :)

By the way, that Mami appearance was super random. When I saw the ribbons and flowers, I almost thought she was going to appear as Holy Mami for a second. At least we know she hasn’t lost her head just yet ;) The appearance was random, but from what they offered, at least we know that Mami is still either in Kamihama or coming to Kamihama regularly to investigate, and while she was suspicious of Iroha in the past, she went out of her way to help her this time, which was a nice touch.

Anyway, now that Iroha has finally replied to the mysterious messages, we might really get to meet Sana (and Ai-chan) next time! Maybe Madoka and Homura, too! But yeah, this episode is a prime example of one where not much seems to happen, but a lot actually does happen and there’s plenty to pull apart and discuss when you really think back on it. Clearly Kanagi took half my attention and feels this week, but I’m definitely having lots of warm and fuzzies seeing Team Mikazuki doing normal, everyday things together. Seeing Felicia added to the OP was expected but still a treat (the way she bobs around on the spot is SO CUTE!), and I can’t wait for the family to finally be fully formed!

(Also, Yachiyo looks gorgeous in anything she wears, seriously.)

“G’morning Rin” Emily smiles gently “sooo how was it?”

“How was what?” Rin asked flipping channels on the tv.

“You’re date, duh.”

“Oh, that was awesome.” Rin smiles lightly, her sunglasses covering any type of look in her eyes.

“Well what happened?” Emily was sitting on the arm of the chair now-her sock covered feet a couple inches from Rin’s legs.

“He took me to this garden on a rooftop and it was so freaking prettyyyy- like there was so many different plants and flowers and it was at night cuz apparently he’s partly nocturnal-“

“Really?”

“Apparently- but he took his jacket off and let me see his wings....they’re so freakin pretty-he’s so freakin pretty im-“

“Riiin.”

“What emi?”

“Do you love him?”

“....” Rin falls silent.

If she admits it-it’s final-if it’s final it’s hard.

“Do you?”

“Pshh after one date? I don’t know”

Lying is just easier. That’s what Rin thought at least.

“Okay...but still give him a chance, what was the rest of it like?”

“So we talked in the garden and I probably looked like a wide-eyed idiot since he’s so much taller then me.”

“Aww I think that’d be cute.”

“Emily I’m not cute.” Rin rolled her eyes

“Anyway back to the date!”

“Okay okay. So when he asked if I liked it he did this little nervous smile and my brain melted and I just said I liked him which isn’t wrong but still-“

“I probably sounded like an idiot, anyway, he flies my home and oh god the veiw and him and that kiss-“

“KISS?!”

“Oh yeah- he asked if he could kiss me and I said yes so that happened”

“Did you just-HE ASKED?!”

“Yep. Can I kiss you? Were his exact words.”

“I’m- who is this boy and what god raised him?”

“I don’t know but god thank them.”

“I have to meet him! I’m legally obligated too as your best friend! When can I?!” Emily asked stopping on the couch

“Calm down you don’t even know his name!” Rin giggles

“Then tell me his name you fool!”

“Okay okay- Charlie.” The smile that spread across her face as the name left her lips said a lot more then she had wanted too.

“Aww Charlie and Rin-Rinlie!”

“What-“

“Rinlie! It’s a ship name!”

“Emily why’re you like this-“

“I’m fandom trash with a PHD in phsycology that’s why.”

Emily did have a point. “Well whatever Picani-wanna watch Gumball?”

“SURE!” Emily slide herself onto the couch properly, sitting next to Rin as the episode started.
