This is just a suggestion but about Firestar being a journalist how about...
Firestar is a war correspondent during the Korean war (or whatever the closest conflict they could be apart of is), Tigerclaw is someone high up in rank that does something illegal (War crimes), Raven is private in the military and Tiger is his direct superior who intimidated him into saying nothing about illegal activities, so Fire and Tigers rivalry is Fire trying to get information on what happened from Raven and Tiger trying to cover it up
GOOD CONCEPT the only thing is that it doesnt quite fit my au's timeline :( i appreciate the suggestion though!! it does help even if i dont end up using it myself :)

i saw a post a while back about an au concept where every few moons a medicine cat is chosen to have kits and then gives them up to the other clans to honor moth flight's sacrifice. it was super interesting to think about, although it was also really dark!

it's not really a job, but i CAN see your anthro!firestar as a reporter, especially since he's serving that clark kent realness. maybe he started as a lil journalism major or a kid who was into mystery novels when he rolled into Thunderclan-town and got caught up the murder mystery surrounding tigerstar. also im assuming ravenpaw was just sent off to barley's barn/ranch and not put into witness protection??
this is super interesting and i will consider it but i have to say the implication that being a reporter is not a real job is really funny

Clanmew Masterpost
Clanmew is a constructed language made for Warrior Cats that I, @bonefall, run with my buddy @troutfur! I make the vocab and he does the grammar. I hope that this post will become a good, central place to keep links to everything we've done so far.
CURRENT VERSION: 1.0
LAST UPDATE: 6/3/2023
Clanmew is an OSV-order language, made with the sounds cats make in mind. "Base Clanmew" is built around the Clan Culture updates of the Better Bones AU, which means it is made with the ecology of southwestern Northern England in mind and only contains words for plants and animals found there. It also has phrases for cooking and crafting.
(specific regions modeled: Lancashire, Chester, Manchester, Merseyside, Clwydd is modeled for river biomes specifically)
You are free to use it for your own projects! We encourage you to consider how this language would evolve in your Clan's history, and add or remove words to make a dialect that reflects the culture's feelings and needs.

What is this?
I’m making open-source guides that expand on the culture of the warrior cat clans, staying within the capability of cats with human-level intelligence living in Northwestern England. To do this, I research a lot of bushcraft, stone age technology, the flora and fauna of the British Isles, and the effects of different plants on cats.
The regions I model are Clwyd, Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside, and Lancashire.
Can I use these for my projects?
Yes! I make these guides exactly to help and inspire those looking to make their own warriors projects. I love being @’d so I can see what you create with my stuff.
Yes, it’s still okay to use these if your project is original or diverges very far from WC. These guides are all open source.
Mr. Bonefall, do you use these for YOUR projects?
Yes! I use these for the Better Bones AU, a project that rewrites warrior cats to give the series a conclusive theme, consistent individual politics, and a more fleshed out culture.
You will probably notice references to my AU’s changes in some entries, such as Sorreltail becoming head of ThunderClan’s kitchen patrol, or Birchfall being a co-inventor of Paw Soup!
