For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭(NLT‬‬). “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Week One:
“In this Scripture we find the message and meaning of Christmas. Isaiah the prophet gave five awe-inspiring names of our Lord that encourage us, thrill us, and fill us with hope at this Christmas season.
Wonderful. When He did His many miracles, the Scripture says, “The people wondered” (Luke 11:14, KJV).
Counselor. The people said, “No one ever spoke the way this man does” (John 7:46, NIV).
The Mighty God. He is the God-Man. He said that He and the Father are one (John 10:30).
The Everlasting Father. It was by Him, the living Word, that all things were created. He is the designer of the whole universe (John 1:3; Hebrews 11:3).
The Prince of Peace. There will never be lasting peace on earth until He comes again to reign in righteousness. But He is also the Prince of Peace in other ways. None can have peace with God apart from Him and the peace that He made through the blood of His cross (Colossians 1:20).
The full meaning of these words from Isaiah should give us enough strength, hope, and joy to face any crisis, endure any sorrow, and meet any temptation.
How has Jesus shown you recently that He is “Wonderful, Counselor... the Prince of Peace”?

Untitled...
In the light of certain events - on the first Advent.
Long time ago the biblical prophet Zechariah foresaw the coming of a king promising true peace and justice.
One who renounces external power and chooses a donkey to show himself to his people.
Show, what he stood for... (Zech 9:9-10)
Centuries later a man named Jesus connects to this word and enters the state capital on on the common man's mount. (John 12:14-15)
An unworldly, hopeless idealist?
A dreamer?
A detached visionary?
Well, what would this world be without ideas and dreams and visions?
This world needs people who take a stand against war and weapons.
Against the power of money, against elbow mentality.
This world needs a revolution in thinking.
This story is a demonstration against the age-old will to power.
It's an old story - but highly topical.
Have a good time everyone.
Peace be onto you.

Peace is a Daily Decision to Trust God
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3 We make thousands of decisions every day based on trust. So much so that we don’t even give them much thought. Have you ever lay in bed thinking, “I wonder if gravity will work today?” When you get to the office do you ‘check’ your chair to make sure it’s not broken? Do you spend your day…

Holy Face of Jesus Christ
DREAMING OF THE TRUE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST
𝑨𝒌𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒆 𝑲𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒌’𝒔 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏, 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝒖𝒑 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒖𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒅𝒐 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒚 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒆.
Akiane Kramarik, child prodigy and the only known child binary genius (extraordinarily talented) in painting and poetry, began drawing at the age of four. Akiane's best-known painting is Prince of Peace, which she completed at the age of eight.
Akiane has said Prince of Peace is her "favorite portrait" and one of her most memorable paintings. At age eight she had long been seeking the right face to help her paint an image from her dreams and visions when a family friend brought to her a carpenter as a possible subject. The man's face closely resembled what Kramarik remembered as the face of Jesus. She completed the portrait in 40 hours of intensive work. Not long after, it was shipped to her agent for exhibition, who then stole it and sold it without permission. For sixteen years the original painting was held locked in a bank vault, with the then-owner unwilling either to show or to sell it. In December 2019, Prince of Peace was recovered by the artist's family and sold to a private collector for $850,000. After twenty years, the original is now available for public viewing at the Beloved Gallery in Marble Falls, Texas.
At the age of four, Colton Burpo, whose story was featured in the best-selling book Heaven Is for Real and the film adaptation of the same name, underwent a critical operation after his appendix burst. Although it was not a near-death experience (his heart never stopped), he did say he had an experience of visiting Heaven and had visions of Jesus. Years later, when he saw Akiane's Prince of Peace on TV, he told his father "Dad, that one’s right."

Pope Francis's April 2023 Prayer Intention: For a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence
Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, meek and humble of heart, teach us to have a heart like Yours. Send Your Holy Spirit to our thoughts, so that we do not allow ourselves to be seduced by the culture of conflict. May His scorching love set our hearts on fire and guide us to the culture of encounter, of nonviolence, visible in our decisions, in our actions, and in caring for others. Help us to enact ways so that non-violence materializes in our ordinary life, in thoughts, words, and actions that we address to brothers and sisters. Give us the courage to live in a peaceful style, that seeks encounter, dialogue, acceptance of difference, and non-violence in the face of all difficulties. Heart of Jesus, give us a heart similar to Yours! Amen.

“But the Father will send the Friend in my name to help you. The Friend is the Holy Spirit. He will teach you all things. He will remind you of everything I have said to you. I leave my peace with you. I give my peace to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled. And do not be afraid. “You heard me say, ‘I am going away. And I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad I am going to the Father. The Father is greater than I am.”

The Prince of Peace
The presence of God is enough to shift your perspective. Jesus is called the Prince of Peace for a reason. So if it’s peace that we’re lacking, perhaps we need to take a step back and sit at the feet of Jesus for a minute. Because it’s impossible to be in the presence of God and not be moved.

''Painting The Impossible'' by Akiane Kramarik
This video is a testimonial of the artist Akiane from young childhood to adult, and the extraordinary path The Lord Jesus Christ put her on. Truly one of the most beautiful testimonials I have ever seen that I enjoy rewatching from time to time.
