Jesus Christ rejected at Nazareth
The people there doubted Jesus Christ, therefore He performed miracles elsewhere. Today, people still doubt Him and wonder why they feel like something's missing. It's a fall from God's grace.
The fall of humanity started in the Garden of Eden when the enemy, in the form of a serpent said "Did God really say...?" How does the enemy tempt you into straying from your straight path towards God?
1. The enemy questions God's Word
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
—‭Genesis 3:1
and he tests you if you know God's Word.
2. The enemy contradicts the God's Word
⁴ Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.”
—‭Genesis 3:4
and you, with your lack of faith, might start to doubt the Word.
3. The enemy gives you a false sense of power on your own, outside of God's Word and authority;
“For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
—‭Genesis 3:5, The Temptation and Fall of Man
convincing you that life is better if you do not listen to God.
If you are not firmly rooted in the Word of God, you will allow room for the enemy to come in. If you are not familiar with God's Word, you will believe anything the enemy that lives in this world says, leading you to disobey God.
Increase your faith in God by living a prayerful life; and by reading and meditating daily on God's Word. Walk in Christ-likeness, reflecting His light and love to the world. Let the fruits of everything you say, pray and do, be reaped in God's time, according to your faith.

The Way Back to God It’s common in today’s culture for people to believe that all roads lead to God. Many believe that all different sorts of religions and belief systems will ultimately lead us to God. While this sort of belief is widely accepted, it does not agree with what Jesus says in John 14:6. Jesus says that He is the only way to God. No one can come to the Father unless they come through Jesus. Jesus also says that He is the Truth, which means that all other truths must be measured against Him. He is objective truth. In other words: Jesus is the standard by which we can judge the rest of the world’s truth claims. Lastly, Jesus says He is the Life. This means that it’s only through Jesus that we find true and eternal life. True life comes from following Jesus’ words and His path for our life. A true and meaningful life begins with knowing Jesus. He alone has access to the good life that God intended us to live, as well as everlasting life with Him in heaven. Spend a moment thanking Jesus for revealing the true path to life and salvation, and for making it possible to have a relationship with Him. Continue to learn from Jesus through His Word, and share the hope of Jesus with others in your life.

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” —Psalm 139:7‭-‬10 (NIV)
“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” —Romans 8:26‭-‬28 (NLT)
“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” —Psalm 37:23‭-‬24 (NLT)
“A Prayer For Guidance” By YouVersion:
“Think about a decision you made recently. Maybe it was choosing what to wear for the day. Maybe it was figuring out whether or not to take a new job. Or maybe it was simply deciding to say “hello” to someone you didn’t know well. The average person makes thousands of decisions each day.
While our choices don’t carry equal weight, every choice we make contributes to the direction our lives take. The good news is—we don’t have to make decisions alone.
God’s Holy Spirit is with anyone who believes in Jesus, empowering them to live in a way that honors Him. So right now, think about a decision you need to make, and when you’re ready, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
A Prayer for Guidance: Holy Spirit, You know my heart. You understand my deepest wants and needs, and You know my every intention. You know me better than I know myself. There is nowhere I could run to escape Your presence, and nothing I could hide from You!
And that’s why, right now, I am asking You to give me Your divine wisdom and guidance.
I don’t always know what to pray for. My soul is weary and I am tired. I often worry about making the right decision—but I want to live a life that honors You.
Even though I may feel like I can’t move forward or see what’s ahead—You see me. And You know me. So please guide me. Show me the paths that lead to abundant life, and convict me when I am tempted to stray from You.
As You guide me, restore me. I will place my hope in You at all times because You know all things, and by You, my life is held together. You are my strength in times of need, and You have become my salvation.
So hold me close, Lord, and teach me to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have given me. Direct my steps as You guard my life, because I want to glorify You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

He Started It
When the Apostle Paul was locked in a Roman prison for telling people about Jesus, he sent a letter of hope to his friends back in Philippi. A portion of it said:
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
Though Paul was writing to specific people in the first-century Church, his words are just as true for the global Church today.
Think about it: Who started this thing we call life? Who made this world and everything in it? Who fine-tuned the universe to actually make sense? Who put you here—at this specific time in history? Who handcrafted your body, your mind, your strengths, and your unique-to-you personality? Who began this good work?
Before you were ever born, God already had you in mind. Before you could even walk or talk or have dreams for yourself, God already had a plan. Before you knew to look to Him or to follow Him or to worship Him, God was already at work—in you, around you, and through you.
Sometimes it feels like we’re just wasting time and taking up space, without real purpose. But—it turns out—God is intentional and He makes no mistakes. To top it off…
God always finishes what He starts.
The story isn’t over. When Christ returns once and for all, the work of God through His people will finally be complete.
Until then, let’s commit to God’s good work inside of us.
Let’s magnify Him in everything we do.
Let’s believe that He’ll finish what He has begun.

Honesty before God is the only way we can grow into the people He wants us to be. We cannot grow in our spiritual life by hiding secrets or guarding our thoughts from God... when He searches us and brings [hidden] things to mind, He's inviting us to humbly confess them to Him, [because] we cannot be healed from the things we try to hide.
