girl who is not going to be okay (i need to phone the gp to chase up a missing prescription)

#:)#two weeks ago i gave them a letter requesting a dosage change on the order of my hospital consultant #and they said 'oh yeah it should be ready for you in 2 or 3 working days' which didn't happen #but my regular prescription runs out in like two days time and the pharmacy hasn't received any info for almost a month #so like. my regular prescription isn't being processed and my new dosage never got dealt with so. very cool situation #do you know how Awful it feels having to make phone enquiries every single month about my meds because there's always problems #i don't wanna chew them out for not being good because my gp has a budget of 50p but like. it's updating a prescription dosage #why is this so hard for anyone to actually do effectively............#to make matters worse when i gave them the letter they said 'our other services are slow but we are still really quick with prescriptions'#like lol. lmao even #maybe they're withholding my prescription because i have bad vibes. maybe it's my destiny to just explode and die......

somehow someone else has my phone number on their nhs file which means I've been getting all their communications for TWO YEARS. apparently they have a therapy appointment on monday so I sure hope they've got that written down somewhere since I'm the one getting texts about it

#the weirdest thing is they're local to my area too so it started when i was away at uni and got a phone call from my local hospital #and i freaked out thinking someone in my family was there but it turned out they were trying to call this other person #so i explained at the time it was the wrong number #but clearly the message did not get passed on #because since then I've had various vaccine reminder texts and prescription collection reminders #i tried contacting the pharmacy and the gp practice to be like 'please tell this person when you see them they have the wrong number down'#but nobody is listening so every so often i get told about this stranger's medical information #and it's always referring to the same hospitals and services that i would use because they live nearby #it's all very disconcerting #talking

love looking for gp surgeries in this country. absolutely useless reviews

#need to register at a new gp so im just gonna go in somewhere on mon bc i have the day off #but there are like at least 10-15 different places i could register so im trying to filter them down to a couple #the most crucial thing is whether theyre deaf accessible bc gps usually only offer appts if u call. but i need to be able to email #i cant go in person every time i need to try and book an appt bc i work full time #but theyd never share that info online so ill have to ask at their reception #mainly i just need a dr to be able to continue fulfilling my prescription once i finish titrating meds w the adhd service #bc i have a maximum of like 8 weeks left with my titrator before i get kicked off 😔#argh i hate adult admin. but no one else is gonna do it for me so!#anyway goodnight ppl in my phone..#.diaries

man i knew it was going too smoothly

#went from appointment to bloodwork to prescription for T in less than a week #and now i'm in insurance hell trying to get it covered so i can go pick it up and start my boy journey more thoroughly #but! it's not even that insurance doesn't want to give me the boy gel!#i called them ahead of time to see if I had to do anything for them to cover it - and the answer was just have my doctor send a form in #so i did that and then went on vacation expecting boy gel when i got back #but no! insurance never got the form and the phone tag between them and the doctor and the pharmacy i had to do to confirm this was wild #but hopefully doctor will resend the form it will go through and i will have t by the end of the week #fingers crossed anyway #the upside of this is that i have only had a pleasant time talking to insurance on the phone?#i may have shit coverage but by god is their customer service good #minus the continued ''ma'am''s even after confirming the prescription i was calling about was for testosterone lmao #worst case is they end up not covering it and i pay out of pocket - which isn't terrible and i'll do it but paying less is always nice #but also i would have liked to just know that and have gone and got my goddamn boy gel already #i don't talk about my personal trans stuff here very much but i should make a tag in case i do more of it #what do i want that tag to be tho #boy stuff #yeah ok i'm going to commit here and now to ''boy stuff'' lol

#:)#meds run out this weekend but the hospital set it up to be renewed via the nhs app #which i cannot access on account of not having any id #AND my gp is so underfunded it only operates until noon and doesn't have the resources to manage anything other than appointments #so i can't even phone them to ask about my prescription because they do Not have the resources to deal with it #there's MAYBE this weird third party service that might handle it but it has a seven working day response time #and i have five real days worth of meds left #fucked up part is i was *supposed* to be contacted by my gp either last week or this week specifically about long term care management #but all this promised communication never happened so i guess i just have to deal lol

my ears have been fucked all day. it's like when you're on an airoplane, or driving up or down a really steep hill -- that feeling of pressure, or water in your ears after dunking your head in the bath. 90% sure it's just because of this cold, even though my sinuses honestly feel fine this evening, but i still don't like it :(

i moved to a new place 3 months ago and the best internet here is so bad (17mbps....without vpn enabled) that i can't reliably play MMOs, at least not ones like toontown servers since they fully kick you off the game the literal millisecond your connection gets funky in any way. i can actually play most roblox games as long as i'm ok with a lot of textures never loading and me rubberbanding a lot, but toontown is so triggerhappy about kicking you off that i just can't play it without fear of being reported for "maliciously alt+f4ing" or something. or worse, DCing with pace at 100 health. so i haven't fucking played clash in these 3 months. i gave it as long as i could to see if i could adjust to this shit ass internet but i have been so upset that i can't play clash that i'm about to get fucking starlink. like. clash is honest to god my #1 motivation for it. i want elon musk to sudoku as much as anyone else on this website but by god would starlink save my life. a couple of my neighbors have it and they get 100mbps. omfg. i can't even fathom what 50mbps would be like, much less 100. i had 200mbps at my childhood home that i just moved out of. life could be a dream. anyways so basically i'm spending almost my entire next paycheck on starlink because i want to play clash again without getting banned for constantly disconnecting

#sorry i needed to get this out somewhere because i have stoically kept quiet about my situation for the most part #i do log into clash every once in a while just to exist for a moment but i can't Do anything #lol when i first understood the internet situation i logged into clash and took note of how many friends my main has since i knew #i wouldn't be able to play anymore. the number has only gone down by 1 so shoutout to the real ones lmao. anyways #i'm just gonna have to live with the guilt of starlink. like honestly? i hate jeff bezos too but you HAVE to use amazon where i live now #like i'm sorry but the nearest grocery store is a 3-4 hour round trip away. ANY shopping is genuinely a Whole Day type of thing here #i wouldn't even go into town regularly Period if i didn't have prescriptions to pick up monthly at the pharmacy #out here you go cold foods shopping once a month and everything else you order online. and amazon actually delivers out here somehow #and you only go cold foods shopping if you don't want to pay for the only online service known to deliver cold foods and frozen meat here #i am honest to cog shocked that we even have one single ordinary internet service out here period. it's DSL but still #and 17mbps is faster than i would expect from it for how goddamn remote this place is #it has done the best it can for me but i need better. and unfortunately the only “better” is starlink #original
