if you’re choosing to stay silent. if you’re choosing to “remain neutral” because “politics is not your thing” & i am just a “poetry blog,” you need to wake the fuck up. claiming you read poetry yet you refuse to educate yourself? palestinians are dying every single day. israel has killed 1030 children in gaza in only 9 days. 9 fucking days. and you remain neutral. because it’s not your story. because you’re not living it. well i hope you remain neutral when your whole family gets murdered in front of you.

You need to come to terms with the fact that there is nothing that makes men and women inherently different. Nothing. There is not a single characteristic that you can point to and say “yes that is a man thing and no woman does it” because there will always be exceptions, and a lot more of them than you think. Any time you try to separate the two (say for example in a discussion about reproductive rights) you exclude cis women with physical differences, trans women, intersex women, and yes even men who belong in the discussion as well.

There are boys that “look like” girls, girls that “look like” boys, non-binary people that look like one or both, and people who do fit in the gender binary but look like neither. There are girls that are also sometimes boys and vice versa. There are people whose gender fluctuates a lot and yet never lands on “man” or “woman” at all.

There is no separation of gender beyond what you as your own person decide your own gender is (and if you don’t want to decide that’s perfectly fine too). The more you accept that, the less you’ll police others’ identities and expressions, the more accepting you will become, and the better for it.

Uhh. To put it simply… ITS COMPLICATED. i haven’t exactly fleshed her story out so its all over the place <\3

Pan is brash, entitled, reckless, and generally unnaproachable. She’s uh. She’s got issues. Partially because of her upbringing by her parents who are both messy in their own ways.

Because of everything surrounding her parents, people are wary of her, thinking she’s dangerous in some way just like them. This ostracisation combined with a slew of other things has made her distant and bitter towards others. And her sour attitude does not help her image whatsoever.

nobody likes her, she doesn't like anybody (save for her parents). It's a lose-lose situation all throughout. BUT LIKE I dunno maybe things will turn out better in the future for her. If I'm feeling nice that is.
