Doing Jazlyn now because I don't talk about her enough and I'd like to develop her character more!
Are you named after anyone?
“Nope. The one and only, girl. I'm just Jazlyn!”
When was the last time you cried?
“Oh, pfft! I don't cry. Maybe out of sheer boredom listening to Dr. Ass-ghar ramble on about her rules and how I'm not following them! Like, girl, I can't help that I have fire powers and lit something on fire! That would be like getting mad that Gabe got a little dirty. Oh, and her meetings are the wooorst. Yeah crying for my life in there.” [It was during Ewan's clarinet solo actually]
Do you have kids?
“Girl, what? I'm not even eighteen yet! Close... I'd love kids, honestly. A lot of them! I'd have so much fun with them!”
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
“Look, I know I come across as someone who uses sarcasm, but I'd rather just flat out say what I'm thinking. Why be like ‘wow that was so riveting’ when I could say, ‘this is the most boring crap I have ever seen in my entire life’? So much easier, no mental hoops. Besides, Ewan is the most oblivious to sarcasm I have ever seen.”
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
“Their confidence level. I can usually tell how someone feels about themselves based on how they stand. Posture is the key, but also what they're doing with their hands.”
What’s your eye colour?
“Brown. With some golden flecks when the light hits them right, according to Ewan.”
Scary movies or happy endings?
“Easy, scary movies. This question is stupid - they aren't opposites. However, nothing is more fun than a horror movie. Love getting the blood pumping. Yelling at the characters for being massive dummies is also the best. Horror is the most entertaining to watch with others. Ewan thank the Lord is also a horror enthusiast. We make a habit to have at least one or two horror movie nights a month.”
Any special talents?
“Oh, several. I am pretty athletic. Took cheerleading a while back and now I am on my high school basketball team. At first, I wasn't sure I would like basketball - my coach in middle school pulled me aside and recommended it due to my height, but I love it now. I am also getting pretty good at learning archery. Lighting the arrows on fire makes that more exciting. I am also pretty good at martial arts and my pyrokinesis. Working on breathing fire without burning my throat. Thank the Lord I have Wade to heal me so I can try again!”
Where were you born?
“I was born in flippin' Utah. I know--lily white state, you'd never guess. Ewan and I plan to move somewhere else once we can. Can you believe he was born in Alium? That ain't fair.”
Do you have any pets?
“Ewan and I plan to one day get a dog. We have been planning on moving in together for a while.”
What sort of sports do you play?
“Like I said, basketball. I would love to learn how to play this Alii fireball sport. It's very similar to basketball, but pyrokinetics pass around fire. That sounds like so much fun, man. Did you know they have to keep a healer at each game because not all pyrokinetics are immune to fire? And the audience can get hit too if they're not careful! This sounds like such a fun sport.”
How tall are you?
“I have finally passed six-foot-three. Alii heights are a blessing and a curse.”
What was your favourite subject in school?
“I hope you tell me PE counts as a subject cause I ain't saying anything else. School sucks, girl. I have gotten detention for the lamest reasons imaginable.”
What is your dream job?
“I would love to be in sales. Something about convincing people to do what I want is inticing. Planning on getting a marketing degree when I go to college next year.”

“No, though Vektor more or less chose my name for me, after tiring of referring to me as my official name of D3TR0-17.”
When was the last time you cried?
“I can’t produce tears, but if I could …” His features are a mangled uncertainty that leads you to think the answer might be ‘now.’
Do you have kids?
At this, Detroit’s eyes light up and he fumbles for something half concealed beneath the hem of his shirt. He detaches it from his belt, holding it up for you to see: an old Tamagotchi in a light blue shell, small nicks peppering across the screen. “This is Avy. I found him in Mattix’s pawn shop.”
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
“However much it takes to irritate Vex on any given day, which is probably not a lot but he might beg to differ.”
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
“Mannerisms, body language. It is what I was designed for.”
What’s your eye colour?
He reaches a finger to rest just below his right eye and says, “Originally they were both this shade of blue, but then …” He frowns. Gestures to the left eye, a soft brown that does not match. “There was a mistake during manufacturing.”
Scary movies or happy endings?
“Scary movies are more inclined to activate my emotional receptors, which makes me feel more in touch with the human experience.”
Any special talents?
“Vektor says I have a skilled mouth.”
Where were you born?
“I was created at the AURAndroid Facility.”

“I have Avy … that is the closest I might ever get to having a pet companion.”
What sort of sports do you play?
“I don’t understand the appeal.”

“Five feet. Ten inches. And three-fourths.”

“I was programmed with knowledge pre-installed and thus have no use for schooling, but I am still eager to learn anything that isn’t already in my database.”

OC INTERVIEW: Vincent "V" Ezaki

I'm gonna steal the idea some of you had and let him answer in character, but I'm gonna put some more context (and/or the truth xD) after Vince's reply where I see fit!
Tagging everyone who sees this and hasn't been tagged yet :3c I think most of you have done this at this point, but do please tag me if you do, I wanna read about your blorbos!!
■ NICKNAME ■ "Just 'V'."
100% going with the "only people that know me really well can use my real name" canon, because I love that scene and moment so much (and the lil nod to it again in the Tower Ending with Johnny ;_;). In my hc, Jackie gave him the nickname "V" on the day they met. Up until then he had always insisted on the full "Vincent" with everyone, and Jackie was the one to urge him to be careful with whom he shares his full identity. Meanwhile it's the other way around and "Vincent" is reserved for friends only... and "Vince" exclusively for Kerry really xD
■ GENDER ■ "Could say I'm a self-made man." ;)
This highly depends on who is asking the question here, if it's a very casual setting he'd say the above, if it's something to go into a screamsheet or whatnot he'd be more like "well, take a wild fuckin' guess" or just "male". He doesn't hide the fact he's trans, and he's proud of his journey and identity, but it's still not something he'd want to publically discuss with strangers without anything to gain from it.
■ STAR SIGN ■ "Gemini I think, but I gotta say, astrology isn't exactly something I have deep knowledge or opinions about."
He celebrates his birthday June 10th, but his real birthday in in September, so he's actually a Libra xD
■ HEIGHT ■ "5'6."
■ ORIENTATION ■ "Sorry ladies." ;)
Again, highly contextual on who is asking, and depending on that his answer might be more evasive or he'd just decline to answer. The less details about his private life are in the public's eye the better. But if the context is a fun night out with friends and he feels safe, he'd definitely give a more cheeky response and, to not get anyone's hopes up, just straightforward let them know he's gay.
■ NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY■ "Born and raised in Night City and a proud citizen ever since."
He doesn't talk about his family because he's cut ties with them long ago. His mother, Marcella, was also from Night City, your average NUS citizen with mixed European heritage. His father, Kousuke, was Japanese. He and Vince's mother met through work for a certain corporation that wasn't necessarily welcome in NC at the time (but I bet my ass still very much present in one way or another).
■ FAVE FRUIT ■ "When I was a kid, I once had daifuku with real, straight-from-the-ground strawberries. Somewhere way out there on the Japanese countryside, couldn't tell you where exactly anymore. Still got no idea where they even got the strawberries from, but no RealFruit ever matched those."
■ FAVE SEASON ■ "Don't think I have a real preference here, 'specially cause Night City's warm all year round. I like it that way. Could do with less sandstorms though. I like it when it rains now and then, the steam on the asphalt, everything is just... quieter, in a way."
■ FAVE FLOWER ■ "One made from plastic."
Vince doesn't have a green thumb and no mind to care for plants either. He's far from an outdoorsy, nature-loving person XD Do not gift him flowers, he will not know what to do with them. That being said though: he has two big stylized lotus flowers tattooed. The first one he got shortly before he left his home, when he began his transition. The second after his top surgery, when he already worked for Arasaka, as a reminder to stay true to himself on the inside, especially whenever he couldn't outwardly. He just likes the lotus aesthetically, the shapes and symmetry, and that it symbolizes rebirth and transformation.
■ FAVE SCENT ■ "Clean bedsheets and freshly brewed green tea."
And the odd mix of Kerry's overpriced bodywash and favourite cigarettes XD
■ COFFEE, TEA, HOT CHOCOLATE ■ "Yes, in that order please. Coffee with milk and sugar, tea is fine just plain, green or black."
He's definitely more of a coffee than a tea drinker, and whatever it is, it's gotta be a little fancy xD Vince is the kind of person with a long-ass signature order at the coffee shop, and I 100% see him loving bubble tea in any combination and variation in existence. The only time he drinks his coffee black is when he accidentally orders "the same as him" in a moment of distraction at Caliente's with Kerry. But tea he occasionally likes just plain, but then it has to be high quality organic real tea leaves. Hot chocolate is a nice special treat, too.
■ AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP ■ "Even in my line of work a regular sleep schedule is possible - and necessary, to stay sharp. I try to get my 7 hours of sleep in."
The somewhat regular sleep schedule is really something he values and tries to stick to, although the Relic and Johnny's presence really mess it up for a long while. But especially because his lack of sleep while working at Arasaka contributed to him developing a drug addiction to cope with the stress and sleep-deprivation it's something he doesn't want to fall back into.
■ DOG OR CAT PERSON ■ "Defintiely cats."
■ DREAM TRIP ■ "I'd like to return to Japan one day for a short vacation - see if I can find that daifuku shop again, haha. Would also love to visit Europe more extensively than what I've seen of it so far. And, who knows, maybe the Crystal Palace one day."

■ FAVE FICTIONAL CHARACTER ■ "Ooohhh, that's a hard question, let me think for a moment... [insert long analysis of different movie and video game characters and why they're good or bad and why he likes them or not]"
Evading this a little bit because I don't wanna dive into a rabbit hole of seeing what canonical fictional characters there are and why Vince might like them or not xD He is a big nerd and a gamer and knows so much more than I do XD Also, he'd 100% be the kind of person who's rooting for the evil guys, because often their motivations and goals are much more complex and interesting than the "hero's" in his eyes xD and he's fascinated by the concept that they're doomed to lose by the narrative usually (because the good guys usually win), but still fight tooth and nail to achieve their goals and safe their own skin. He can relate to that a lot more than the selfless goodie-two-shoes who just want to save the world and make it a better place.
■ NUMBER OF BLANKETS THEY SLEEP WITH ■ "In this weather one is more than enough. Sometimes none is better."
■ RANDOM FACT ■ "It takes around 7 seconds for someone to form a solid first impression of you in a face-to-face conversation. It takes my Kiroshis' scanners half as long to additionally supply me with all the data on you I need to permanently ruin your life for good."

I've been seeing people do two characters at once, so I'll do Sepo and Izjik as a pair :)

Are you named after anyone?
Izjik: "My name is a common one where I'm from, but I don't think I was named after anyone specific, no."
Sepo: "If I was, my mother croaked before she could tell me."
When was the last time you cried?
Izjik: "I dropped a bag of hammers on my foot at work the other day and spirits, they probably heard be about ten miles over!"
Sepo: "I don't cry."
Izjik: "Yes the fuck you do? Broody bastard. I saw you tearing up when we went and saw that new band. You cried last time you had to deal with the bounty guild because the guild leader makes you so damn angry. I know for a fact you get weepy every time you get so much as three drinks in you."
Sepo: "...no comment. Bitch."
Do you have kids?
Sepo: "You'd fucking think we do looking after Twenari. And she's not even half the trouble Djek is - and he's a grown-ass man."
Izjik: "Cut him some slack, he's like nineteen. But yeah, two kids pretty much. I've even been to a PTA meeting! That makes me certified parental material!"
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Sepo: "Nooo, never..."
Izjik: "Low hanging fruit, my guy. I'm usually not sarcastic, though - it's not my style."
What is the first thing you notice about people?
Izjik: "If they're going to try to kill and eat me."
Sepo: "Ditto. Then I move on to what makes them annoying."
Izjik: "You're so negative, you know that? My second impression is their hands. You can tell a lot about a person based on their hands."
What is your eye color?
Izjik: "Kind of a blue gray? Slate, Twenari calls it."
Sepo: "Sirens all have eyes of black."
Izjik: "And a good thing to, given how stupid big your pupils are."
Sepo: "The fuck is that supposed to mean?"
Izjik: "If you had blue eyes, you'd look kinda silly is what I mean."
Scary movies or happy endings?
Sepo: "Scary, though it takes a lot to phase me."
Izjik: "Bullshit, you jump every time the camera angle changes. I like scary too, but with happy endings. Things can get bad, yeah, but it's always good to see folks making it out in the end."
Any special talents?
Izjik: "I can do a one-handed pushup!"
Sepo: "That's because one of your hands hardly works."
Izjik: "You're just a hater because you can't do one. That can be your special talent - being a hater."
Sepo: "Yes, fine, let's brush over my musical composition abilities and skills in veterinary medicine. My true special talent is being a hater."
Izjik: "Damn straight."
Where were you born?
Izjik: "The enclave of Edeme��eneha, deep in the N'Diki swamp. I think it was a lovely place to grow up, all in all. I really miss it sometimes."
Sepo: "I was born in a brothel basement in the Ulahdrian capital city of Seluthena, the largest metropolis beneath the waves. I... I also miss it sometimes."
Do you have any pets?
Izjik: "Nah. I never really got the concept of an animal you don't eat."
Sepo: "Landhorse is more of a business partner. She gets me where I need to be, and in exchange, I give her food, shelter, and pet her sweet nose from time to time. She's the best of horses, a gentlewoman among beasts."
What sort of sports do you play?
Izjik: "Does fighting for fun count? There's this bar I like where I can always get into a scrap if I'm looking for one. I think people have started placing bets every time I walk in."
Sepo: "I would go on cross-country camping trips when I was a teen in the Saryimastra Seat. That involved swimming for a few days at least, so I suppose it could be a sport. I found it very relaxing, escaping from all the noise and fuss of the temple. Sometimes Saius would go with me, but usually, I'd go off on my own."
How tall are you?
Izjik: "Tall enough to skin my fist on your teeth, lanky ass!"
Sepo: "You are five foot two. I'm six foot five. I really don't think you are."
What was your favorite subject in school?
Izjik: "I never went, but I liked learning how to set snares during my apprenticeship. It was the only thing I'd sit still for. Looking back, maybe that's why Dzako had me learn so many."
Sepo: "My education was rather... propaganda-filled. Most of the history I enjoyed learning turned out to be false. A lot of the books I read were horribly censored, though I didn't know it at the time. I suppose music. You can twist the words and intentions of music to whatever aims you wish, but the heart of it is always pure."
What is your dream job?
Izjik: "I mean, whatever gets me paid and let's me work outside. I heard Twenari talking once about these people called potion hunters? Apparently, they hunt magical plants and animals for alchemists to use in their work. That sounds like a hell of a lot of fun!"
Sepo: "I've... This is going to sound stupid, but I've always wanted to compose my own songs. In Ulahdris, music was strictly regulated and created by the church. But here on the surface? It's chaos. Any asshole with a kazoo can play whatever he wants. I... Oh, it's all nonsense anyways. I'm fine doing what I need to in order to survive."
Izjik: "You've gotta let yourself live a little, Sepo. I'd love to hear your music!"
Sepo: "Truly? Then... Then perhaps someday, I'll work up the courage."

NICKNAME: You can use Ve1es, or Ily if you'd prefer. It’s all the same to me.
GENDER: Male
STAR SIGN: Capricorn—a capricious, fickle creature if it’s to be believed.
HEIGHT: 5’7/170cm—suppose I have to make it fair, don’t I? Can’t have everything.
ORIENTATION: I’ve never been accused of pickiness.
NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY: While my caretakers weren’t particularly forthcoming, seeing as they dropped me on a doorstep, this is hearsay. Based on my name, I’m Russian presumably.
FAVE FRUIT: Pomegranate is something I genuinely enjoy, along with raspberries.
FAVE SEASON: My favorite season is fall, when the heat finally relents. It also makes my occupation more comfortable, although there’s only so much that can be done in that regard.
FAVE FLOWER: Oleander—delicate and deceptive
FAVE SCENT: Old books and ink—the dusty scent of curling pages
COFFEE, TEA, HOT CHOCOLATE: I drink black tea with milk, or chai, but I wouldn’t turn down coffee if you put it in front of me. Caffeine is caffeine.
AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: I’ll sleep when I’m dead.
DOG OR CAT: I’ve had enough of dogs to last me Saburo Arasaka’s lifetime, I much prefer cats. But if we’re allowed to pick, foxes would be my choice. They’re cunning, and less inclined towards tameness.
DREAM TRIP: I prefer driving or megalevs when possible. Flights don't agree with me, but a trip to the coast would be worth it. Not the sandy beaches, but the rocky, rougher ones. If I had the time for it, I'd drive up along the coast, find a remote cabin to stay in and hope my associates could be trusted to run business for a time (wishful thinking, I know.)
FAVE FICTIONAL CHARACTER: Admittedly, I have a soft spot for mysteries, even if it's only to try to poke holes in them and the reasoning. My favorites are Inspector Morse, and Poirot. I trust you will keep this appropriately quiet.
NUMBER OF BLANKETS THEY SLEEP WITH: I sleep with at least two—I hate getting too cold, and at least one ends up on the floor.

Got a WIP for The Thorned Crown of Iron Thrones and three OC interviews for The UnTitledverse, Far Cry The Silver Chronicles and A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore. You can find these under the cut.
WIP for my House of the Dragon fic, The Thorned Crown of Iron Thrones, a fic set in my Life, Despair & Monsters series, following the tragic dynasty of the Targaryens as shown in House of the Dragon... but taking all of that and making the situation 1,000 times worse. This fic stars the original cast PLUS my original characters; Corvus Targaryen, adopted son of Viserys I and Aemma, good with the blade, though socially awkward fellow who only sets out to be a knight or if he gets his way, a maester (or alchemist, either one), and trying to keep the peace between the Blacks and the Greens, with Caecilia "Cecil" Targaryen Royce, daughter of Daemon Targaryen and Rhea Royce (after an aggressive and drunk consummation filled with scratches and bruises from both sides), who like her mother, absolutely despises her father (though this is not reciprocated by him), is out to help her cousin Rhaenyra keep her claim to block Otto's plans and spite her father, and lastly a down-on-her-luck ex-assassin woman who currently calls herself "Okkotsu", who through means unknown, becomes the paternal figure Aegon II Targaryen never realised he wanted, better than Viserys ever will be. There's also Sir Enigma Malvolio (Director of the Ruins of the Midnight Rise), Yan-Kain (second-in-command of Aggravor's Chapter of the Occult), and the Court King (main antagonist and pissed off people have forgotten about him). Note that this WIP is still under heavy construction, and things may or may not change. Below is a snippet of Rhaenyra convincing Corvus to join in on a fun time at a tourney... on a day where everything goes wrong:
Corvus eyed his sister with a reluctant frown, dimmed violet eyes looking into a vibrant purple. His hand remained anchored to the darkwood table, the vials and tubes and bags full of liquids and substances ready to be used as ingredients to sate the curiosity of a student of alchemy.
He gave glance to Rhaenyra's companion, hoping Alicent could save him from the young dragon rider's expectant gaze. However, the Hand's daughter stared back with polite brown eyes and a slim smile that refuted his silent plea to be saved, leaving him to make a futile attempt at fending for himself against his younger sister of all people, which he knew would conclude into an inevitable failure.
"Surely... surely you could do without my presence at the tourney?" Corvus spoke up, voice soft and uncertain, "I'm no fan of such events. I wouldn't want to bring down the mood. Perhaps... it would be best I remain here, where mother is? The maesters could require an extra pair of hands should she go into labor."
Rhaenyra seemed to think his words over, but her face hardened, determined. She grabbed hold of his arm, grip firm but slack, eyes widening as the candle light reflected off them, unfairly sparkling the purple rings. Lips formed into a soft smile, as she pleaded at him with her gaze.
"Please."
The older dark-haired boy's resolve wavered as his pale skin involuntarily flushing at the contact. He tried to avoid Rhaenyra's wide smile, her eyes and swore upon the Old and New Gods that he tried to ignore the gentleness plea of her voice. But his younger sister knew all the ways to get him to comply to her demands, and just as a dutiful if awkward older brother would, he'd follow her anywhere, just as Father and Mother tasked him with.
And once Baelon is born, I may even be able to convince them to allow me to become his personal guard, should I continue to knighthood that is.
Looking to Alicent once more, searching for her opinion, Rhaenyra's companion merely gave a small shrug and encouraging smile. Exhaling out a light sigh, he looked down to his white-haired sister and gave his response.
"Okay."
The word was simple, but it granted him an opportunity to see a triumphant grin from his little sister, her excitement genuine. Even when the years had been hard to swallow, especially with Mother's condition, he was glad his sister still hadn't lost her fiery spirit.
"C'mon now! We must bid goodbye to mother and join father at Keep's gates. We shouldn't keep him waiting," Rhaenyra exclaimed, pulling Corvus along behind her back towards the spiral staircase, as Alicent joined them with the shake of her head.
Both Rhaenyra's brother and companion briefly glanced at one another, incredulous gazes connecting as they are both, yet again, pulled along by Rhaenyra.
Corvus was nervous at the prospect of the vast eyes of Lords that would be watching their every move at the tourney. It made his stomach coil at the though of that much attention, with his sister's popularity and his own unpopularity.
Alicent must have noticed this, and stated aloud, "I think it will be quite a good day out. The skies are clear, and the sun warm. The tourney should be able to go on uninterrupted."
Rhaenyra piped up, adding, "I'd even say it will be fun. So no need for such gloom, dear brother."
Corvus simply nodded in reply, shoving away his nerves at they reached the top of the spiral. A visit to mother wouldn't be so bad, he thought.

I'll go with Nimwen from Of Starlight and Beasts because I don't think I've done one of these for her yet!
Are you named after anyone?
"I was named after my paternal grandmother. My parents' marriage was severely looked down upon by my mother's side of the family, because Dad wasn't of noble birth. They decided to choose the name because it was a nice keeping my grandma's memory alive but also a little bit as a way to stick it to my maternal grandparents. Her relatives never really got over their union, and didn't rest until they got the King himself - who was apparently a family friend - to annul my parents' marriage. Her family then arranged for Mom to marry some random noble from a 'proper House' - despite her protests - and cast my father and I out of their social circle."
When was the last time you cried?
"Hmm. That's uh... quite the question, isn't it? Very personal all of the sudden, y'know (her hands squirm and she laughs awkwardly). Let's just say... I have nightmares, and some of them are more... severe than others and sometimes end up crying because of it. I had one recently. I won't go into detail about the dreams though - that's not for you to know. Only Scarlet knows, and even he doesn't know the extra gory details."
Do you have kids?
"Certainly not! I'm barely a grownup and I don't think I should be left in charge of anyone other than myself - Scarlet is always going on like (she mimics her adoptive brother's voice and tone) 'why don't you take care of yourself?' or 'didn't you think this through before doing it? Again, Nim?', so maybe I perhaps might not be the most responsible person to grace this earth. I know, shocking. (giggles). But in all seriousness, I have far too much going on in my life to even think about something like that in the coming years - unless you count my friend Syp as a kid, because he's the youngest of our bunch and is always following me like a little shadow."
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
"No, not really. I'm usually too nervous about hurting someone's feelings or being misunderstood in what I'm trying to say or causing a mess, to the point that I somehow end up just fumbling over my words and making a fool out of myself. Scarlet is the king of sarcasm though, he always knows what to say or how to come up with a sarcastic quip at the right timing. I'm not that lucky (laughs awkwardly). He says I'm fine the way I am and that I don't need to change to be like others, but I do wish I was more eloquent like him."
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
"If they're dangerous or could be a potential threat. I've learned the hard way not to trust too many strangers and still struggle with a lot of... ghosts from my past, per se, looking to strike me down so I've got to be on the lookout for anyone that looks like they could work for the King or the Royal Guard. I also notice their stance and if I can use the terrain around us to my advantage to escape if need be."
What’s your eye colour?
"Dark blue, like my Mom's! I've got Dad's long strawberry blond hair to remember him by though, so that's nice. It's like I've got a little bit of both of them with me at all times - which is comforting, and sad, and a little bit weird. But nice."
Scary movies or happy endings?
"Happy endings, happy endings all the way! I hate scary stories - there's enough terror, and gore and violence and hatred in our world, why should we be subjected to those things in the very fiction that is meant to let us escape it? I hate when the other kids in our bunch start telling horror stories when we're gathered around the campfire - it usually leaves me up all night thinking about it! I know this is probably very silly of me. But I still don't like scary stories one bit and I will keep not liking them until the end of time itself because I don't like being scared."
Any special talents?
"I'm very good at hiding - when you're the daughter of someone who was executed for treason he didn't commit, you learn to hide like your life depends on it, because it really does. Scarlet has also taught me how to shoot the bow and arrow, and I'm... average at it. If I really, really focus I can hit close to the target of my choice, or even hit the target itself if I'm lucky, but if I have to do so whilst moving that arrow is missing the target by a mile. I also know how to sew and embroider, as well as play the harp, which are things my father taught me when I was a child and I haven't really done in a while, so I wouldn't know whether or not I'm still any good at it."
Where were you born?
"I was born in the city of Sylla - which used to belong to another kingdom but was annexed by Tirawen around forty years ago. My Mom comes from a long line of Tirawenian nobles, who moved to Sylla when she was a child because they were given land - a lot of land - in the conquered terrioty by the royal family. My Dad came from a local family of much humbler standing, and he'd risen in the ranks of society by pursuing a career as dyplomat. It didn't end well, as you probably already realized."
Do you have any pets?
"Scarlet has a pet hawk called Arrow! I consider it my pet as well. My brother has trained Arrow to carry messages for us and to hunt. Sometimes he also sends it to scout terrain ahead to check if it's safe for us to pass. Arrow is the most adorable, cutest little bird of prey you'll ever hope to meet! He loves snacks and always chirps happily when you pet his feathers!"
What sort of sports do you play?
"Oh, many! The other kids in our little group of 'outlaws' are always coming up with new things to spend our time doing, so I'm never bored! If anything I'm the opposite. I'm also very good at running, climbing and jumping! And as I mentioned I have a passable knowledge of archery."
How tall are you?
"I would say average height, I never really put much thought into measuring my height, but I seem to be somewhere in the middle between tall and short. Scarlet is very, very tall, so I don't think he counts as a comparison, but my height is similar to that of most of our friends."
What was your favourite subject in school?
"... I uh, didn't really get to attend any of the schools and academies of the kingdom. With the whole 'my dad getting beheaded for treason' ordeal happened when I was really young so I didn't really get a chance. But I think I would've liked to attend the royal academies - I used to love books!!! I still do, but there aren't many opportunities to read when you're living in the forests as an outlaw."
What is your dream job?
"Okay, now, don't laugh, but when I was a little kid I used to dream of growing up to be a pirate - I loved reading tales about pirate adventures and the sort, and couldn't wait to see the ocean one day. I even got a cute little pirate costume for my sixth birthday! But I do realize now real life pirates probably aren't really that nice though. Nowadays I would say my dream job is to become something like a physician or an apothecary - I would love to help more people, especially those who don't have the means to afford healing, because the kingdom all too often tends to forget they exist."

Are you named after anyone?
No, darling, my name is my own invention and we'll not be discussing what came before it.
When was the last time you cried?
Are all of these so personal? Do you wish a specific time, or would a simple, "at the crack of none of your business" suffice?
Do you have kids?
Absurdity thrown in with, well, what fun we're having. La bête insistante ferait mieux de me récompenser bien...No, darling, I have no mewling brats.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Bit obvious an answer given our others, non?
What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Everyone has an air, a melody, a scent...and should I notice yours, my darling, you'll not be concerned by which was first.
What’s your eye colour?
Blue.

My love tells me 'movies' are similar to opera? If so, I prefer stories that are uplifting and cheery...with a bit of bloodshed, if they can manage it. You'll have to tell me where that fits in your little...questionnaire here.
Any special talents?

Forgive him, excitable things can be difficult to live with on occasion. Talents, yes, talents...skills? I possess skills, trained and practiced in both vocals and violin. That what you're after, darling?
Where were you born?
Hm, a small village in Northern France. I've no name to offer you, as I was removed too young to learn it.
Do you have any pets?
Delicious, this question. So much so that I would see it crumpled up into a nice, tight ball that I might devour it.
What sort of sports do you play?
Darling, there is a finite amount of patience remaining in me for these questions...and you ask me of sport? I refuse.
How tall are you?
185.42 centimeters.
Ca c'était quoi? What 'feet'? Oh, colonies, right. Those have been spreading haven't they. But they've 'u's in all their--fine, if you say so, treasure.

What was your favourite subject in school?
Never been, darling, as my mother said, "l'école est pour les gens laids." A few of my clients did hire tutors for me to ensure I could read and write and carry a conversation when they needed me to. No favorite subjects, I'm afraid. No favorite anything there, in fact.

Alright, I think he's gone to the other room now...to brew...coffee.

What is your dream job?
None. In fact, to dig into this fortunately final foray into what should remain personal; I dream of retirement. A little place by the sea, safe and quiet, where we could revel in one another unhindered by the desires of others.

OC Interview!
I was a little unsure of what character of mine to do. But I decided to do the second most important main character of mine, and one of my favourite little gremlins, Dusk!
1. Are you named after anyone?
"No. I'm not named after anyone. Even my old name wasn't either, as far as I'm aware."
2. When was the last time you cried?
"...Probably not since I regained my memory. That... that broke me a little I think. Nothing could really compare to that, and I hope nothing does."
3. Do you have kids?
"Hahaha, do I have kids? I know I'm fairly young, but I'm not exactly looking for that. I don't think I've considered having kids before... Actually, I don't think I've ever considered settling down."
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
"As much as anyone else I guess. It gets a bit boring having to be so serious and focused all the time. Although, I don't want to ever be as laid back as Zenith. I don't think that man has a single serious bone in his body."
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
"Their eyes. Well, of course, I notice their appearance and outfit first. But I take note of their eyes first."
6. What's your eye colour?
"I- It's hard to explain. Dawn once described it as 'A mirror, reflecting every possible colour'. It's not really a colour, but what do you expect? I've died once before, I'm not exactly normal."
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
"I don't think any scary movie could compare to what I've lived through and done before. That being said, I like a good happy ending. It's something to cheer me up."
8. Any special talents?
"*sigh* Everybody has innate abilities or attributes, of course. So saying 'Oh, I can create light!', it doesn't really mean much... I guess I can't bleed? Or do you mean like a party trick? Because I don't have anything like that, if that's what you mean."
9. Where were you born?
"In an alley probably. It was on the very outskirts of humanity. The frayed edge of the city, on the border of safety. I don't remember much of it though, left that place around... six I think?"
10. Do you have any pets?
"No... don't know where I'd get one either. Most normal animals are extinct, and good luck trying to tame an Unholy one."
11. What sort of sports do you play?
"None, but if I were to play one... What's it called when two people fight with swords as a sport? Duelling? I guess I'd do that."
12. How tall are you?
"I don't know... last I checked I think it was right under 180 centimetres. 178 maybe?"
13. What was your favorite subject in school?
"Never went to school. I do like learning about history though."
14. What is your dream job?
"...Maybe, the owner of a small cafe. Hearing stories, getting to know the regulars. Sounds nice..."

Well, I did Avymere, so let's give Elsind some love too :)

1. Are you named after anyone?
"Not that I know of? I've met a few Elsinds - it's not a super uncommon name - so maybe I was and my mom just didn't tell me."
2. When was the last time you cried?
"Aw man, yesterday night. I was trying to make some brownies, but I burnt them pretty bad, and it was just a lot. The night before that, I read this sad book and cried so hard my face was sore."
3. Do you have kids?
"I'm twenty, and I honestly don't even know how that would work with me being a changeling and all, so no. I'd like kids someday though, I think."
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
"Not really? I don't think I do. Can you be sarcastic on accident?"
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
"Their face. I like faces. I like to remember them in case I have to use them later, but really, they're all just so beautiful that I can't help but stare. I've never understood when people call other people ugly - there are just more or less symmetrical faces. One isn't better or worse than the other, they're just interesting in different ways."
6. What's your eye colour?
"I don't have eyes in my true form, but I can make eyes in whatever color you'd like."
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
"Happy endings, by the gods, yes. I love it when a book gets me feeling all warm and hopeful on the inside. I think I'd cry if I had to watch something scary."
8. Any special talents?
"Um, I can squeeze into really small spaces? Oh, but that's not really a talent, it's just biology. I wouldn't say I'm talented at poetry - I just dabble sometimes."
9. Where were you born?
"In a little village called Shéllon, a few mountain peaks east of Salis."
10. Do you have any pets?
"No, but I've always wanted a cat!"
11. What sort of sports do you play?
"Eh, I'm not really the sporty type. I'm happy to watch just about anything, though."
12. How tall are you?
"That depends."
13. What was your favorite subject in school?
"I didn't go to school properly because there wasn't one in Shéllon, but my mom homeschooled me as best she could. My favorite part was reading all the books she'd bring me, of course. I prefer lighter things, but I do have a few classics under my belt."
14. What is your dream job?
"I... I really don't know. I'd love to work in a library, but gods, some of those teashops just seem so fun with their fancy uniforms. There aren't any flowers this far north, but I saw a florist's stall in a painting once, and it seemed so magical as well. Really, I just want a job I'm happy to go to, and that gives me enough time off to enjoy myself. Work isn't my purpose, after all."

[Subject Interview: Hiro]
Tagged by @wraithsoutlaws--thank you!, this was really fun (and going to do it for the other three eventually 💕💕)
NICKNAME: How do you know Hiro isn't one? Just fucking with you, that is my name. I got a lot of them, depends on who you ask. Could give me one and might even respond to it, f'you ask nicely.
GENDER: Male.
STAR SIGN: I don't know? Misty said I seemed like a Scorpio whatever that's supposed to mean, so gonna go with that if someone asks.
HEIGHT: 5'4 and a half
ORIENTATION: Why, you interested? Swing both ways 😘
NATIONALITY/ETHNICITY: Japanese-American. Don't know any of my family, and frankly if they're anything like my parents were, not missing much.
FAVE FRUIT: Do I gotta pick one? I like most of them but if you want my favorite, it's mangos. Found one in some Corp's fruit bowl once and fuck it was good. (what? a guy gets hungry on a gig, and it's not like he was gonna miss it.)
FAVE SEASON: I like summer--the hotter the better--if you've got it why not show it off? (also it's fucking Night City, you get hot and you get less hot. Still haven't seen snow.)
FAVE FLOWER: I like dandelions. They somehow managed to survive in the city, and they're prettier than the cockroaches. Personally I'd be fine if they replaced the former.
FAVE SCENT: Brewing coffee, and the musty smell of a leather jacket
COFFEE, TEA, HOT CHOCOLATE: On that note, coffee. Or hot chocolate, both are good. I'll drink tea but I'm not gonna be happy about it. It just tastes like grass.
AVERAGE HOURS OF SLEEP: Hahahaha that's a good one
DOG OR CAT PERSON: Cats. Dogs are just loud, and I don't know about you, but fuck paying pet tax on them. At least the cats are easier to hide.
DREAM TRIP: Anywhere outside the city. It's not like I'm rolling in the eddies or the chances to travel. If I had the choice, somewhere cold. With a lot of trees. There isn't much of either here.
FAVE FICTIONAL CHARACTER: Uhhhh--I don't know. There's a lot of them. I always really liked Kaneda from Akira. It's a comfort movie for me.
NUMBER OF BLANKETS THEY SLEEP WITH: As many as possible. If I sleep with my head under them I almost can't hear the cats wrecking my apartment.
RANDOM FACT: About me, or just in general? I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue? I'm left handed, anddddd my favorite food is red bean buns. There, that's three.
