Okay... Switching gears here... Noir! Have you ever read stories about cool things? Like knights? phantom thieves? Robots? Magicians? cute creatures with super powers? ungodly cosmic horrors beyond our comprehension...? Animals?
(Pay no mind to how weirdly specific these are. Just know Adeleine is absolutely not associated with any of them! :D)

So, the whole "Young Noir tells Kid Adeleine the plot of DL2 as a bedtime story" was actually an illustration I had planned to complete while I was in the middle of working of Arc 2 of Apologies.
I never managed to get it going quite right and began to fall off of doing those large painterly pieces, so it's stuck in a perpetual work-in-progress state. Might as well share it here though!
In case you recognize the long comic formatting, it was indeed intended as a parallel to my piece on Noir + Kirby's duel, "Darkened Skies." The goal here was to hint at Blade's defeat of Rick, Coo, and Kine as well as his "abandoning" (rescuing) Gooey.
...But also, (hinted at by Adeleine's "they'd be trapped forever and wouldn't even be able to die" referencing Noir's inability to get out from under Zero's control, even after losing to Kirby) to show that he too was a victim and desperately in need of a hero...

Peni Parker Headcanons
There are multiple snacks in her robot, in different compartments; she insists they are for her but in reality, she keeps so much variety for her friends.
Her sleep schedule is basically nonexistent; she would hyperfocus on a project for whatever hours her energy drink can keep her awake and then pass out for days. She spends so much time indoors on labs she normally has no concept of time.
Noir was the first spider she found when she crashed on Earth 1610 in ITSV; they helped each other navigate Miles' New York since both of their universes are different time periods and they were confused as heck. They ended up becoming close for that reason.
Noir sees Peni as an adoptive daughter and Peni sees him as a father figure, but neither of them had admitted that to each other. Noir doesn't want to come across as crass by suggesting being her father when she lost her biological one. Peni doesn't want to make things uncomfortable by forcing that role on him.
Uses she/they pronouns.
She is also bi, this was her awakening
Super embarrassed about it though, so she is planning to keep that to herself to her grave.
She needs to be in her suit at all times in the Spider Society. Mostly because of the different halls that need the spider to be upside down or at an awkward angles. However the first few days she refused to show her face because she continued to be flustered.
"Why all the spiders around my age are attractive!? Here I am being an awkward plain twig around runaway models."
"Oh don't say that, you are cute sugarplum."
"Noir you are making me sound like a little kid."
"Come to think wasn't that guy Gwen brought with her an ex-runaway model-"
"SEE!?"
"Thanks for that B."
(Since they have the same name, Noir calls Peter B well, B.)
Peni went to see Noir first after she got her watch, then shortly after went to see Ham with Noir. Noir and Ham aren't part of the organization (Noir said he didn't the like way Miguel was running things once he heard about it, and Ham didn't vibe with the idea either.) She visits them regularly though.
She likes to give Noir cute colourful key chains when she visits; Noir actually has them on a cork board on display.
Current events in Peni's timeline had made her try to lean more on the Spidey side of things, dropping less and less frequently on her own universe. Noir has tried to mitigate this, but Peni interprets it as him not wanting to be around her. Noir also doesn't have the details of what happened to Peni either.
She actually has her own room in Noir's universe. Is technically the guest room, but Noir has actually worked his best to make it homey for her and would rather give up his own bed that let people get in "her" room without her permission. Peni is unaware of that last bit.
She has a MASSIVE crush on Margo, it all started with her going to the help with the go-home machine and feeling the most comfortable with Margo since their time periods are similar enough.
Peni actually is very insecure about herself and her position as a spider person. Even if she was accepted into the Society, she feels kind of left out because everyone else can stick to walls, super healing, as well as other array of powers; while she only has her psychic link to the spider and a robot.
That's another reason why Margo and her connected so well; she understands not feeling special enough considering her Spidey persona is an avatar, while she is a regular human too.
She is fairly close to Gwen too, while neither of them likes to be too vulnerable, they both understand what losing people and having complicated feelings about your home dimension. They may or may not talk about their crushes, hard to say because both of them deny it.

Indeed Gwen later would also insist a big part of the reason she did it was because of Peni.

That night, after dinner, Irene found Cooper on the sofa with Janey asleep on his lap, watching an old noire film with the volume down low.
"Thank you very much for dinner Mr. H- Cooper." She corrected herself, speaking low so as not to wake Janey. "It was lovely."
He looked up as she walked over. "It was no trouble at all. Janey loved having you here."
She smiled at his daughters sleeping face as she sat down on the edge of the sofa. "You've got a good kid there."
He looked down at her proudly. "Yeah, I sure do."
"She reminds me of my baby sister, she lives with my folks in Sacramento. I don't get to see her much anymore with my work and everything with Frank and Lee. It'll be good to see her again."
"How long has it been?"
"Almost 2 years. I know my sister resents me for how much I'm away, but hopefully that'll change now that I'll be away from Frank, at least until the divorce proceedings." She sighed with uneasiness.
"You'll be fine." Said Cooper encouragingly. "You're stronger than you think."
"Ditto." She smiled warmly. "And don't worry about Janey, you both love her so much. She'll understand when she's older, I promise."
He smiled, touched by her words. "Thank you."
She looked into his eyes and saw something she never had, a good man, a man who loves unconditionally and stands up for his family.
She, just for a moment, imagined what it would be like if he was her husband instead of Frank, if Janey were their daughter, if this was her life and not the daily abuse she had been going home to every night.
She could feel emotions begin to well behind her eyes and she snapped out of it before she embarrassed herself.
"Well, I should get some sleep, I'll be leaving early tomorrow. Thank you again."
The warmness that emanated from her was a welcome comfort in the midst of everything that had happened in the last few months. He almost didn't want her to leave, but he couldn't let himself fall, not now, not for her. They were meant for another time, another world, not this one.
"Irene?" Said Cooper, stopping her before she left. "This whole thing with Vault Tec...something's happening, something I'm not sure we'll ever come back from.
You're free from it now. Whatever's coming...it won't be worth giving up your happiness."
What he said about Vault Tec concerned her, not that it was surprising, but he was right about her happiness, he was right about everything. She wasn't going to be held back any longer.
"Thank you." She said, smiling softly.

The sky was still dark when he left the cave. He'd covered Irene with whatever he could find to try to conceal her from raiders, hoping nothing else would find her while he was gone.
He knew there was a clinic in this area somewhere but whether it had anything left in it was a gamble.
As he made his way hastily through the area, he couldn't stop thinking about her and it just made him angry, 219 years of trying to become the monster that he had to be in order to survive, only for her to show up and remind him of that warmth that he'd long since forgotten. It made him weak, but he couldn't let her die, not now.
He heard movement up ahead, two men laughing drunkenly as they stumbled to find somewhere to relieve themselves.
Raiders.
The cages and skewered bodies around the building were a dead give-away and their little base just happened to be the clinic he was looking for.
Jackpot. They definitely had a stash in there somewhere.
The two men separated to find somewhere to piss but just as one got comfortable, Cooper blast his head off and took the other one out just a split second later.
"Oh HELL no!" Came a voice from the doorway of the clinic.
Without hesitation, Cooper shot him too, a bloody mess left on the door frame behind where he had been standing.
He stormed inside, his pump-action shotgun in hand, willing to use up all of his ammo to get what he needed.
Bullets and wood chips were flying every which way, and he took a bullet or two, but it took him no time at all to obliterate every person in that building.
He searched hastily for supplies, and when he found a first aid box full of stimpaks and cotton thread, he grabbed it and left, picking up several blood packs on his way out.

The next morning, Irene was up early, her bag already in her car when Cooper came out to meet her.
"You weren't kiddin' about leavin' early." He said, the clock in the hallway reading 7:12am.
"I thought it'd be best if I left earlier rather than later."
He knew why. He didn't argue.
"Give this to Janey for me, would you? I noticed she liked it and I know it'll be in good hands."
She handed Cooper a silver locket with a daisy engraved delicately on the front.
He looked at it a bit surprised. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I don't much care for it anymore. It'll be more appreciated with her." She smiled.
She did one last check of her purse to make sure she had everything and the tention in the air was starting to thicken. When she knew she had everything, she looked back up at him.
"Cooper?" She asked. "Do me a favour and don't let the world harden that heart of yours, ok? That part of people is important, even if it makes us feel weak, always remember that, ok?"
She leant forward and kissed his cheek. "See you 'round cowboy."
She smiled at him one last time before getting in her car, and as he watched her drive away he felt his heart ache a little. He would miss her, her warm smiles, and how she made Janey laugh, but it wasn't meant to be, and he knew that.

He pulled off the foliage covering her now pale body and opened the case.
Her breathing was shallow and laboured, a puddle of blood underneath her that had started to coagulate.
He used one of the stimpaks, then another, then another until he had used all six, then pulled out the thread and started sewing up the deep gashes on her side that were sticky with blood.
He remembered the last time he saw her, her smile, the kiss. He remembered watching her drive away and wishing she hadn't. He remembered the last things she said to him.
"...don't let the world harden that heart of yours, ok? That part of people is important, even if it makes us feel weak..."
When he finished sewing, he hung up one of the blood bags and attached the long tube to her arm.
He was still and focused, hoping he wasn't too late, his hands now covered in her blood.
When she woke up after only a few minutes, she saw him sitting by the fire beside her and smiled sleepily.
"Hey there cowboy."

Miracu-class girls are done! It took less time than I initially anticipated, thank goodness. Let's talk re-write's and re-designs shall we?
Sabrina so freaking cute, give the girl her hat. It was probably a gift from Chloe. For her redesign I thought she would be the kind to dress in cute blouses and flowy skirts. She has tennis skirts in every color for every occasion. As for her re-write- anyone who saw how I changed Chloe probably will guess that their dynamic is drastically changes as well.
Sabrina met Chloe when they were in their tween years, Officer Roger having worked security for the Bourgeois on multiple occasions. One day he had to bring his daughter into work and Chloe found her wandering the halls. When a kidnapper tried to abduct Chloe, Sabrina sprayed him with pepper spray her father gave her and then kicked him in the dick for good measure. Chloe then declared that Sabrina should be her full-time body guard, and she technically is being paid to hang out with Chloe. But Sabrina would have done it with or without the money since Chloe is actually very endearing once you figure out how she works.
Alix is next! Alix's violently pink hair could not be ignored, so I kept it (albeit a little less saturated) Also she is in fact still short. Her outfits are probably all variations of sports gear unless she has an event to attend at the museum. I also tanned her up since I imagine she spends a lot of time outside, girl is sunburnt. She is actually a year ahead in history, having gotten too bored with junior level classes. So she's friends with some of the seniors too. I won't get into Bunnix anytime soon but- let's just say it's a lot more tragic than cannon would ever admit. The rabbit's powers are changing, and Alix still has to live with that.
On a lighter note, Juleka, as stunning as ever. Tall queen. She is a year behind since her lack of participation in classes ultimately tanked her grade in several subjects. Her band director was more then happy for her to stay an extra year though, since she is trained classically as well as electrically on the bass. She may not like talking, but she has little fear of performing when the music can do the talking. Her twin brother actually graduated early, and he's working now to help pay for the band the two want to start. Her design doesn't change much from her cannon one other than the fact I switched her ripped leggings for lace ones. I imagine she actually has many outfits in this color pallet, since Chat Noir quickly becomes her favorite hero.
Mylene, okay the change I made here is pretty obvious. I debated for a long time on whether or not I change her skin tone. And when I did the line art? Wasn't planning too. But changed my mind last second, since I thought it helped the color pallet more. This would imply she is mixed, with her dad looking pretty much the same as cannon. it's hard to tell her unless you look closely but I gave her freckles that just cover every inch of her. She is Sunkissed. He character isn't super different, she is still easily startled, but she knows what she believes and will fight for it no matter what.
And finally, Rose! The lovely Rosey! The flower child! Her nonspecific illness still definitely happened, but I like to think she has actually recovered. I do not know enough about most chronic illnesses to make any sort of specification on what she has so nameless headache disease it is! She struggled a lot as a kid, but now she's planning to start a non-profit to help kids who are going through hard times of their own. She definitely still has her down days, the fact that she nearly died so young is not something she is quick to forget. But she will do whatever she can to give other people hope, sinee she knows all too well what it feels like to be hopeless.
As for her design, she had a bucket of pink upturned on her. She did have to have her hair shaved as an affect of her illness but now it's growing back faster than ever. She gets it cut every time it gets past a certain length to donate it.

I've got another request for anyone who's up to it.
(werewolf!Spidey (black) reader) if you will
So we've got reader who's out doing cute shit in her neighborhood, delivering baby supplies to the pregnant mom on the 4th floor, baking brownies for the neighborhood kids with the granny on the 2nd floor, stopping to play with the kids in the street...just cute neighborhood Spidey tingz. (And the other spideys love her dimension, they think it's really peaceful (ignoring the prowler and etc.) She gets an anomaly alert and has to swing off to deal with it. When she's dealing with that anomaly, her watch starts buzzing like crazy alerting her of multiple anomalies that have glitched into her dimension. She's able to hold several of them off but then they just keep coming and she can't handle it. She's calling for help but her watch isn't working (ulterior: Miguel did this on purpose because he feels that her dimension doesn't need to exist, so he lets this happen) and she's freaking out trying to save everyone by herself and keep the anomalies at bay. She's at her wits end, fatally injured, about to give up, when a portal blows open and spiders rush in to help. It's already too late, her dimensions got multiple tears in it and is about to rip itself apart, the remaining spideys do what they can but eventually they all have to evacuate before they get caught in the destruction. Reader stands there watching through the portal as her earth implodes on itself. When a Spidey helps her through the portal the hq she's jumps Miguel and goes absolutely feral. He knew this was gonna happen, dickhead a timer counting down to the seconds. She rocks his shit until some spideys have to pull her off and they have to sedate her. Y'all can continue from there.

yo so last week or smth i went to build a bear with my little relatives and when i saw chubby cubby (look it up you wont be disappointed) i fell in love, then i was struck with inspiration. so my chonky teddy bear and i hope you enjoy this lmao

when news spread of Black Noir being in critical condition, a lot of internal questions were raised at Vought: who did this? was it an accident? was it on purpose? was it another supe? how can we market off this? etc
once crisis control handled the public nightmare that was social media and news outlets (special thanks to Cameron!), did the flood gates open
in the first few days, there were countless cards and money chip-ins for charity donations that Black Noir advocated for
i mean you could not take a shit without someone thrusting a card in your face and saying, "Wanna write something sweet to Noir so he gets better soon?"
hence came the little lie, "oh, i already got him something with a card. thanks tho"
you worked in the crime analysis department, so you did not have a close relationship with Black Noir personally
but that didn't mean you felt bad; i mean, critical condition? you had to give him something
and people at Vought would easily find out you lied and who knows what would happen then?
there are definitely some snakes in the grass if you know what i mean
but what would you get him? everyone else was giving cards and flowers and balloons. no doubt his hospital room is flooded with all those things
so while you're agonizing over what to get him because god forbid snakes figure out your "white" lie, you're stuck on babysitting duty for a friend's eight-year-old kid one day
while you're not too hip on what eight-year-old kids do in their spare time nowadays, you decide to take them to the ol' reliable of your childhood: the mall
as you both are walking around bored out of your minds do you see the answer to your agony: the holy golden glow of build-a-bear workshop
you have to drag the kid you're babysitting inside, but they dont put up a fight for long when they see a stuffed animal they like
unfortunately, you dont see anything you like, but you buy the kid your babysitting his bear (a frog dressed like Obi-Wan)
At the check out do you see another saving grace: "exclusive customizable bears online! order one today!!"
so the second you drop the kid off and you're at home, you immediately go incognito on your browser
you buy a stuffed (animal of your choice) and dress it up like Black Noir because build a bear is in an obvious partnership with Vought for younger consumer marketability
for the extra hell of it, you buy a "get well soon" shirt bc you thought how cute it would be to put it over the Black Noir getup
for the customization, on all 4 paws do you write: Black (front right) Noir (front left) For (back right) Ever! (back left)
you buy expedited shipping and when it finally arrives, you put on the get well soon shirt over the black noir outfit, but you stop from putting on the black noir helmet
why you didnt put on the helm was beyond you. maybe because you thought the sentimentality was stronger since you're recognizing he's still human beneath the suit??
who the fuck knows, anyway
you ask Ashley to give it to Noir (which took a lot of convincing, and a pricey meal for lunch).

you doubted yourself and regretted your decision because why not

he pulls out a motherfuckin build-a-bear which was your favorite animal (how did he know?) wearing a freakin "thanks a bunch" shirt

he holds it out to you; you're quick to snap out of whatever fucking dream this was and gingerly take it from him
then you start giggling, relieved and so bewildered because what the fuck???

Black Noir pulls you into a hug
like, a minute-long hug
while you're not as quick as earlier, you still reciprocate the hug—you even gently (read: awkwardly) pat his back!!
and then he removes himself from the hug, stares at you, then fucks off doing Black Noir shit
for a place of honor, you keep the toy right next to your monitor and look at it whenever you're feeling not like yourself
also, coincidentally, when Black Noir needs something from your department, he goes right to you and only you!!

i get the vibe that no one really cares about Black Noir at Vought; so i personally headcanon that except for the kiss-ass usual gifts, he got jack shit while at the hospital, if any at all. that's why i headcanon? imagine? that the second someone puts some thought into a get well soon gift like reader does, he's over the moon. my boy needs positive attention!! 😭😭😭

I remember people said the scene in Transmission, where Ladynoir renounce their Miraculous and "seemingly" not thinking about each other are mean to be a plot hole, not character inconsistency.
Bt for me, if the character NOT even make a slight uncomfort gesture/expression when they see Scarabella and Black Minette out there instead of their team mate, then it's not a plot hole, it's character inconsistency.
"Plot hole" excuse only work if Adrinette make any comment/looks surprised/make any reaction upon seeing the new duo but the aired time won't let the show do more than that. But the show doesn't let them react negatively which resulting people interpret it as "Yeah I don't care about my team mate, I already got my gf/bf anyway" which is not plot hole at all.
It's 100% character inconsistency. Plot holes are when the plot is wonky, and some logic doesn't logic. When a character acts OOC, it is character inconsistency. Adrien and Marinette have both become wildly OOC since the second Adrienette became canon on this show. They don't care about superheroing anymore, they don't care about each other as Ladybug and Chat Noir anymore. Outside of like, one line about "I hope Ladybug/Chat Noir are okay" (which is quickly overshadowed by some Adrienette, cause we sure do need more of that when we're talking about the late Ladynoir), they just don't give a fuck.
Actually, this isn't even character inconsistency anymore, this is a whole character overhaul a la whatever happened to Felix Fathom. Cause Adrienette only works if you change significant aspects of their characters. What about Chat Noir meaning freedom and a means of escape for Adrien, what about Ladybug being the narrative opposite of his abusive father who gives him unconditional love and acceptance? Fuck that, what he really needs is to start centering his identity around his classmate (with whom he isn't even that close because she thinks he's perfect) and defining himself based on her needs. And what of Chat Noir being the only one who can understand Marinette's struggles? Chat Noir being her special partner whom she can always lean on? Nah, fuck that shit lmao, here's Marinette trying to tell Adrien something he already knows and Marinette trying to hold Adrien's hand even though she's done that before without a problem!
Anyway, like I was saying, they had to change their characters up so that Adrienette could make sense, because it sure wouldn't make sense if it became canon in the show that devoted the bulk of its development to Ladynoir, now would it? So that's why we get episodes like Determination, where Adrien is suddenly head over heels for Marinette out of fucking nowhere, right after the Jubilation dream sequence where they had those cabbage patch kids, and Ladybug initiated a kiss even though they realized this was a dream, and they were clearly having some complicated feelings about the whole thing at the end of the episode. Cause fuck Ladynoir, amirite? Like, why would we waste time on the relationship we spent 5 seasons developing when we could focus on some cookie cutter high school romance with retcons galore and multiple, I tell you, multiple scenes featuring Marinette suddenly having the inability to do things she's done before with no problem, and apparently, it's all Chloe's fault, like what a fucking shocker, who could have seen that coming.
And lets not get into the actual plot holes in Transmission too, cause those also exist? How does Adrien Agreste know and proudly state Scarabella's name when no civilian knows she exists? How does this not make Marinette question why he knows? Why does Marinette expect that someone else becoming Ladybug means she's free when she's still the Guardian? Make it make sense, please.
Anyway, that's all I got. I'm sorry for using your ask as a venting post, anon. I just rewatched Gamer today, and god, Adrienette are so cute and adorable in Season 1. Like, they actually have chemistry and fun interactions and it's the lucky charm debut episode! I will never forgive this show for taking that Adrienette away from me and replacing it with... whatever Season 5 coughed up.

just rewatched the first three episodes of lok and i'm obsessed again. korra is SO CUTE she's buff she's passionate she's self assured she's sassy as fuck she's the whole world to me omg.
welcome to republic city & the revelation do SUCH a good job of establishing the character of the city and really, introducing the new world!!! the revelation has been one of my favorite episodes of lok for a long minute because of its noir aesthetic, the art in the cityscaping, the insane cinematography and composition of the korra/mako & chi-blocker fight! the way that mako's revelation of his and bolin's backstory is a direct parallel to the fradulent backstory of amon!!!! (and the potential behind the firebenders-killed-my-parents stereotype as inflicted on a firebending kid,,,)
AND THE WAY KORRA IS IMMEDIATELY SMITTEN WITH MAKO IS SO FUNNY. the way that it just does not occur to mako at all to romantically like korra at all — he sees that bolin is not in their attic and automatically assumes that he's flirting with korra and is just entire amused at the concept like okay,,, then korra offers to help him find bolin and he goes "nah i got it" and i'm like dude,, if i were in your position i would literally be hanging off of her bc she's so cute wdym Nah I Got It you do not got it you are a hot trauma mess let the pretty girl help you. actually he's aro what.
also i'm yelling about how bolin was written as, y'know, an actual human being with feelings and nuance in characterization in these first few episodes. the show could never make me hate you bolin. and the way mako looks so tired all the time especially in his initial introduction just looking at his side profile, and how he word for word goes "i think i'm gonna turn in; you kids have fun" at korra and bolin STOP. mako physically picking up an equalist and hauling them off the stage like a ragdoll bc they were going to harm bolin is the truest shit of all time. sorry i still think mako should've been a girl but in that moment where he asks if bolin is alright and bolin goes "YES MAKO I LOVE YOU" i agreed bc i love him for who he is in canon too
THE SETUP FROM A LEAF IN THE WIND guys the way the airbending philosophy translates over into an entire theme of the season,, how tenzin and korra's relationship already evolves so much over the course of one episode and how they recognize their own faults and acknowledge each other's perspectives; they were always meant to help build one another into better more empathetic people. i just love watching their dynamic so much um kind of the most important part of the show. also the way that korra sees what mako does in the ring and connects it to what tenzin told her about airbending and how it finally clicked for her,,, sorry i'm once again thinking about the sheer potential that makorra could've been until it got absolutely trashed in about one episode from now LOL. (i'm joking it took about another season before that happened but still.)

but what if the entire lucina gang were sent to fates instead of just 3??
ANON IM SORRY THIS TOOK ME LIKE FIVE YEARS TO GET TO i got the ask and i was like “omg i literally have something in my notes about this i’ll pull it up when i have time” and then i just fucking forgot. sorry. and then i remembered again. and then life started like rapid fire punching me in the face. but im here now im answering it now im so sorry anyways its probably gonna be long and unorganized so cut
okay anyways so i think there’s a lot of different ways you can implement the second gen into fates and firstly my favorite and also the most stupid way to do so and also what i have in my notes is to split em all up between the four nohrian royals. they all get three new retainers from bumfuck nowhere and it makes no sense and it creates the worst dynamics ever. i assigned them like this:
xander: inigo, kjelle, laurent
camilla: severa, noire, yarne
leo: owain, cynthia, nah
elise: gerome, brady, lucina
and then morgans not there bc they throw off the even split but i think in that case, maybe corrin gets both of them? i think thatd be cute. anyways i’d be willing to move any of them like im not that attached to these placements, but i quite like the potential lord retainer dynamics that happen here. kjelle and laurent might seem a bit too similar to xander in terms of stoicism but hear me out. i think raging feminist man hating lesbian kjelle being tossed to work under xander would be fucking hilarious. you know how inigo almost beat xander in that match? guess who’d wipe the floor with him. and then i think laurents like. like laurent is normal passing. but you see he also has the pent up rage of an bullied 13 year old soon to be if not corrected incel and i think having that be explored with xander would be actually fucking hilarious. imagine one day xander is just like “hey laurent can you do something for me?” and laurent, whos been dealing with reeling back in inigo and kjelle (and uh. maybe peri if shes still here i havent thought that part through) and is absolutely sick of everyones bullshit just snaps and goes “NO! NO I FUCKING CANT!” and everyone in nohr just has this feeling of unease. something in the universe just broke.
and then with camilla i was like “well who would she dote on the most” and i picked noire and yarne. i can understand why yarne might be controversial because he is not a cute girl HOWEVER consider that he IS a cute rabbit. very cute. and hes terrified of everything all the time. i think camilla would find that charming and i think he would be terrified of her but also like. extremely devoted?? like i think he’d respect and look up to her a lot. just. just let me do that twenty feet away from you. please (lonqu!yarne????) but also i think theres very motherlike aspect to camilla that i think could eventually break through yarnes anxiety if she just started approaching him a little differently. and also the fact that shes one of nohrs best warriors and would murder anyone who comes close to harming him would probably help feel a little more secure in not dying. like it wouldnt fix him but it might help. and then noire is similar except she IS a cute girl and also i think camilla would be insanely into her talisman persona. make of that what you will i dont know but also going back to camilla as a motherish figure so obviously all of the future kids moms kicked the bucket meaning they all lacked proper mother figures for a good chunk of their lives, but noire never really had a proper mother figure… at all? bc bad timeline tharja was fucking abusive! so i think if she could find some of what she was missing in camilla, whether of not its particularly healthy i dont know but i think if she could that’d set up something interesting between them. theres also the fact that camilla and tharja are slightly similar in their callousness, only that camillas isnt aimed at her allies like tharjas sometimes is. i think that could actually end up being really comforting for noire in an oddly familiar way. healthy? debatable. but… interesting. DO YOU GUYS SEE MY VISION AM I INSANE
and then leo. ok im iffy on these guys like i could move them. but i think cynthia would be a nice retainer for leo to have bc i think they could have a fun “woah youre so cool! like a real hero” “im not the hero you think i am or want me to be” conversation and that wouldnt require cynthia to be his retainer to have but i think it would be nice. im not sure he’d send her on the same missions he sent odin on because shes not cosplaying as the worlds greatest mage (… or is she… no i dont think she’d abandon her pegasus) so theyd get on a lot easier at first. nah is here because i wanted to give leo a break and also i think leo being curious about a manakete thats similar but also not too much similar to corrin would be interesting. idk tho this is my least favorite placement. would be willing to switch.
and then for elise’s new retainers its interesting because shes the only nohr royal who didnt get an awakening kid so. ive given her three new ones. ger bear is here bc i think itd be fucking hilarious. yes, maybe itd make more sense to put him with xander or leo. i dont care though. i want him to bow down to the littlest princess of nohr, nohrs absolute sunshine, blah blah blah. also i think it’d be good for him. dude needs some sunshine. brady i was a little iffy on. i almost placed him with leo and im not sure where i prefer him actually, but i stuck him with elise because i think in some way, elise might, at first glance, remind him a bit of his mother. and kinda like with noire im not sure if its the healthiest way to go about his grief because elise is evidently not maribelle, but i think it could be a fun little arc for him to go through to try and break that image and learn to not project everything he wished maribelle couldve done for him onto elise. bradys a real funky guy i want him to go through some turmoil. and then lucina is here because i love their warriors support conversation and i think lucina being around elise could be so incredibly healing to the part of her that never got a chance to be a kid. and elise is a really fucking smart character yk i think she’d catch on really easily to how much lucina represses and try to bring it out of her. actually this goes for gerome and brady too i think she’d see a lot of her siblings in them and try to bring out as much of their childishness as she can because FUCK!!! these bitches are SAD!!! send help!!
this au is incredibly unrealistic and jambled but i just like thinking about it. i have no idea how this would affect the plot of fates. nohr’s army just gets a huge fucking power boost i guess???? they could probably kill anankos on their own. i believe it. but im quite honestly not all that interested in the giant plot i just like thinking about how the characters might interact and change. the nohrian royals and the awakening gen are just. so insane. and i didnt even bring up the rest of the fates cast (this post is fucking LONG ENOUGH) but i will be thinking. oh yes i will be thinking.

AU where Austin T is a cute alien creature who looks like his Love Bug form, and he crash lands on Earth, discovering the cutest boy and his name is Jean. He becomes Jean's protector and boyfriend.
Jean is just out in his balcony (Because let’s be for real, this boy for sure has a Juliet balcony connected to his bedroom) when he sees a strange shooting star in the sky and witnesses it crash in his backyard
And Dejah handles everything with his patented calmness
Dejah: WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT HAPPENED?! I WAS GONNA PAY A GUY TO BUILD A PATIO RIGHT THERE!
Jean heads outside and finds a pink meteor. Of course, he touches it becuase why not? And it cracks open to reveal probably the cutest person Jean has ever laid his eyes on
Love Bug: *Just standing there*
Jean: Hehehehe, pretty alien boy in my backyard.
Dejah: Damn, I guess we’re keeping him, then.
Like the simp he is, Jean doesn’t freak out, because, again, there’s a pretty alien boy in his backyard speaking in cute little chirps and purring
But, he does go into Pansexual Panic™️ when he kisses him out of nowhere and starts speaking French (Teen Titans reference, anyone?)
Dejah: … Screw this. Alien, or not. Where’s my shotgun?
He explains his situation- His planet was under siege, his parents sent him to the planet furthest away, he crash landed in their backyard, blah blah blah, and his name is Austin
Jean: Please, dad?
Dejah: Uh…
Jean: *Puppy eyes*
Dejah: Are you gonna feed and take care of him?
Jean: YES! I WILL! What do you eat?
Austin T: What’s known to your kind as compliments and affection.
Dejah: … Alright, looks like you’re staying.
Fortunately, people on Austin’s planet are able to shapeshift, so he can walk around the city without attracting any unwanted attention
Austin T: *In human form* What do you think?
Jean:
So, the next morning, Jean takes Austin for a walk around Paris just to show him around, and this doesn’t go unnoticed by his friends
Lacey: Jean Duparc, when did you go and find yourself this absolute cutie?!
Ismael: His hair looks so fluffy!
Marc: I kinda want to hug him. I don’t know why.
Denise: Guys, I’m not joking, there is just a sparkle filter around him.
Cosette: I’ll just say what we’re all thinking. He smells like cotton candy!
Simon: I don’t mean to overstep, but may I squish your face?
So, the Science Kids love Austin and adopt him on the spot
It’s not long before Dejah enrolls him into DuPont as an “exchange student” and he ends up in Mme. Mendeleiv’s class
Just when Jean thinks Austin can’t get any better, he lifts Louis up off the floor by the front of his shirt when he heckles Jean for one of their performances and threatens him
Aurore: I know I’m a lesbian… But that was fucking hot!
Another thing about Austin's species is they're known to imprint on those they feel a strong connection to. In Austin's case, Jean. When the person they've imprinted on gets threatened, they lash out and neutralize the threat. And he can feel any emotional distress coming from Jean
Anyway, one day during school, Austin temporarily shifts back into his normal form while in the locker room. Unfortunately, Kim walks in and yells, “AKUMA!”
Because he’s panicked, Austin can’t shapeshift back into his disguised form without shifting back, and when Ladybug and Chat Noir see that there is no Akuma, people will learn Austin’s an alien and he’ll be taken away
And Jean definitely can’t fake Austin being akumatized on his own so… He’s gotta tell his friends
Jean: Guys… Austin’s an alien.
Cosette: We know.
Jean: You knew?!
Simon: You think you were fooling us with that “exchange student” bit? Please, think better of us.
Lacey: Also, I saw his eyes turn pink.
Mireille: He purrs.
Marc: He doesn’t know what an apple is.
Zoé: He knows an awful lot about astronomy.
Aurore: He wasn’t sneaky with the shapeshifting, becuase he had two right hands.
Cosette: And he was clueless in biology class.
Marc: But, yeah, we’ll help you. I just hinted to Nathaniel that I’d like him to make me origami butterflies, one white and one purple.
Ismael: And I’ve got purple smoke bombs. Just give me the cue.
Denise: What about the Miracle Cure?
Ismael: Ah, I don’t know, just flip a few things over and then quickly put them back upright while the ladybugs are going around. I think we’re set.
It works!
Now there are more people who can create cover stories for Austin! And it comes in handy during that time of the month when adolescents on Austin’s planet turn into ravenous less-than-adorable versions of themselves and become very possessive of those they’ve imprinted on (Or go out seeking potential mates if they haven't imprinted yet)

In which Plagg's aversion to Adrienette's sweet talk leads to an Identity Reveal - A Miraculous Ladybug Fanfic
“You’re so cute,” Adrien smiles reaching up to brush ice cream from Marinette’s cheek.
“Not as cute as you,” she blushes.
“No, you’re the cutest,” they say in unison, “Jinx,” they continue their harmony then break into giggles.
“Double jinx,” they once again say at once then divulge into laughter.
Once they’ve recovered Marinette looks at Adrien, “I love you.”
“I love you more,” he retorts.
“I love you most,” she counters.
That was it! Plagg had spent the last two hours sitting in Adrien’s gym bag listening to him and Marinette gush about each other endlesslessly. He couldn’t take it anymore. That much sugary sweetness was sickening. So he figured before he lost his temper, and accidentally destroyed the world, it would be best to simply remove himself from the situation. The kid would be fine without him for an hour.
As he flew from Adrien’s bag, he was already picturing the Camembert he could “borrow” from a nice shop just across the square from where they were sitting. Consider it a tax for all the times he’s saved Paris.
He was so distracted by his fantasy he didn’t notice that the sweet talk, he was trying to escape, had suddenly cut off behind him,
“Plagg,” Marinette gasped as she stood up stumbling over her words,
“I’ve got to- stay, you- go- here. Something to do. Be back right,” she yelled as she ran after Plagg, waving to Adrien as she left him sitting there, alone and confused.
“Plagg,” she whisper yelled as she caught up with him in the alley behind the cheese shop. “What are you doing here? Did something happen to Chat Noir?”
It took a second for Plagg to realize what was going on. 1) Marinette had noticed him fly across the square. That made sense because unlike other humans that catch a quick glimpse of a kwami, assume it’s a bug or bird and think nothing of it, Marinette is a miraculous holder and guardian, meaning she is acutely aware of kwamis and their presence. 2) Marinette doesn’t know that Adrien, her boyfriend, is Chat Noir, her superhero partner. Meaning she doesn’t know that Plagg is simply there because that’s where his holder is. She thinks he’s there to find her because there is some sort of emergency and his holder is out of commission.
Now, he’d like to just tell her the truth, let her get back to her sickly sweet date and let him get back to his cheese hunt, but of course it’s not that simple. Because Marinette and Adrien, or more accurately Ladybug and Chat Noir, can’t know each other’s secret identities without putting the entire world in danger. Blah Blah Blah. Always the dramatics. Plagg’s at least 50% sure the world would be just fine if this revelation were to come to light. And if not? Well, Plagg’s seen the world end before. It’s not that bad. Exciting even. Anything beats listening to more Adrienette date conversation. But Tikki’s peaking out of Marinette’s purse shaking her head at him and he can’t disappoint his sugar cube.
“Chat Noir’s fine,” Plagg reassures her, “I’m just here for the best Camembert in Paris,” he finishes gesturing to the cheese shop beside them.
“Oh- ah- alright then,” Marinette nods as her adrenaline starts to dissipate. “But you should probably stay closer to Chat, you never know when he’ll need to transform.”
“Can’t, he’s on a date with his girlfriend and all the lovey-dovey stuff is making me sick,” Plagg gags, earning a stern look from Tikki.
“So his relationship is going well? He’s happy?” Marinette asks the kwami.
“Ya the kid’s doing good,” Plagg confirms, “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a date with some cheese,” he continues disappearing through the cheese shop wall.
“Plagg,” Marinette hisses after him, but he’s already gone.

“Everything Ok,” Adrien asks as Marinette sits back down beside him.
“Ah- ya- false alarm. I thought I saw a friend in trouble. Ah- but he’s fine,” she stammers.
“So who’s Plagg,” Adrien asks fixing her with a knowing smirk that’s oddly familiar, “you called his name just before you ran off.”
Marinette pales, “Plagg? Plagg who? I don’t know a Plagg. I know the bubonic plague. It’s bad,” she finishes laughing nervously. Then through her panic a second thought hits her: How does he know WHO Plagg is? That HE’S a WHO at all. Anyone that heard Plagg would think plague: Black Death, ancient pandemic. Anyone except those that have held or guarded the black cat miraculous and thus met it’s kwami.
When she looks back at Adrien he’s still looking at her with that same familiar teasing expression, and the pieces fall into place in her mind: A black mask falls across his eyes as black ears poke out of his messy blond hair.
“Kitty?” She breathes and his entire face lights up.
“It really is you, M’lady,” he beams as he tackles a still stunned Marinette into a hug.
“I know it’s supposed to be a secret, but when you ran off and I realized you were chasing after Plagg, who you recognized and knew by name, well, all the pieces just clicked. All the similarities between you and Ladybug. And I just-had to know for sure. That my girlfriend and best friend, first love and true love were one and the same.” He’s standing with his hands on her shoulders, staring at her in absolute awe, but as he finishes he pulls away. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have dropped that all on you, I should have considered the dangers of us knowing each others secret identities. I just- got excited,” he finishes rubbing the back of his neck as he sneaks a peek up at Marinette.
Marinette is trying to listen to Adrien. The concerns he’s voicing are valid and she’s spent most of the year reinforcing them, but she can’t really focus on anything he’s saying because she’s using all her energy to keep herself from laughing, and failing miserably.
“What’s so funny?” he asks.
“I just can’t stop thinking about how we kept rejecting each other because we were in love with each other,” Marinette laughs, “and I know that’s not the important take away here.”
Then Adrien laughs too. “Or the times we thought we were protecting each other but were actually just preventing the other from transforming.”
Marinette laughs harder, “Oh my gosh, we were such disasters.”

Marinette nods, “Maybe that’s why I’m not scared anymore. Whatever the consequences of us knowing each other’s secret identities are, we will figure them out. Together.”
“Like always,” Adrien replies holding out his fist.
“Pound it,” they say in unison as the fist bump morphs into a kiss.

ML Reboot: Miraculous: Heroes of Miracles: The Lovesquare (Season 1)
-I think it will be important to say that the lovesquare is very much as integral to the reboot. But I will be changing a few things about How its handled.
-Origins still has both Marinette and Adrien falling into the lovesquare, but the event is altered
-Its actually after they beat stoneheart and Ladybug kisses chat noir's cheek, thanking him for the encouragement, and that she is "lucky" to have a partner like him. Its seeing all of the aspects of Ladybug that hit this boy like a truck. From her cute nervousness, to her confidence, her clever mind, and her supportive side. Its right after that that Chat noir has his soft "Oh" moment
-And yes even the precious Umbrella scene is getting some tweaks.
-For one, the gum seat is being changed because its pretty tame. So instead Chloe tells Adrien she needs a bucket of water, which he gets and Sabrina sets the trap. Adrien realizing what they were doing comments that this is a bit too mean of a prank. Chloé assures him it is fine, "Dont you want to fit in?"
-Adrien feels conflicted but does decide that "To hfil with it" and swipes the rope from Sabrina. This results in the bucket falling earlier, Which good news, Marinette and Alya dont get soaked, bad news "Marinette's Design notebook" does.
-And Chloé decides to play it up, making it look like Adrien's idea. Which causes Marinette rage much like in canon but now more so.
-Alya is a bit suspicious of how it was set up, but she sees her new friend in pain and is more concerned for her.
-Adrien feels guilt as getting the bucket was his fault, and he wants to make it right. He ends up venting at a table during lunch and Nino happened to be there and is like.
-"Sounds like you should apologize. Even if you didnt set up the plan, you have to clear the air." Nino himself didnt understand why he bothered telling him this. He normally never gets involved with drama.
-Adrien turned to see Nino there, and thanking him for the advice. Asking for his name.
-"Nino"
-"Adrien, sorry for randomly dumping that on you."
-Nino tells him its fine just go deal with his drama, he doesnt care for it.
-So Umbrella scene. Adrien has his umbrella, and much like the intro of the scene, Marinette dismisses him. But this time he peps himself up to go and make it right.
-He approaches her, and first thing he does is apologize, explaining that he was trying to stop the bucket from falling. He never liked harmful pranks and he especially hates the fact that Chloé didnt tell him her plan, he would have never agreed to it. He explains how he never been to real school before and is just trying to find his place. But he knows that he doesnt want to be Chloé's friend if it means hurting people. He gives her the new note book, he got it along with a fabric/swatches binder, (based on the one his dad has). Commenting that he saw one of her designs and thought it was good.
-Marinette was definitely surprised seeing this caring, and thoughtful version of what she thought was yet another spoiled rich kid. But it was him giving her the umbrella and hearing that laugh that did her in. She was left Thunderstruck, just like in canon.

-Chat noir is actually less flirty in this. He still flirts, but usually its seen as banter. Which Ladybug goes along with. Only in super serious situation she will be like "Time and Place kitty" Which means focus, and that is when he does.
-Marinette does know Adrien's schedule to an extent, mainly because she has asked about it. They are friends, and Adrien does want to hang out with his friends.
-Alya finds out about Marinette's crush 5 episodes in. Marinette hides it and is in denial about it for a bit. Thinking that he is out of her league and doesnt want to get her hopes up. Alya nips that bulls*** mentality in the bud.
-Chat noir and Ladybug do hang out outside of akuma fights, and it isnt uncommon to see them on patrol. Chat noir comments that next time he will get macarons from his favorite bakery. Funny enough, Marinette was at the counter 10 minutes before and saw chat noir walk in to pay for the macarons.
-Marinette and Adrien hang out as friends sometimes (granted not all the time, because schedule).
-Marinette’s first civillian interaction with Chat noir is still Evillustrator. (There are some changes to this episode) Chat noir is a bit more flirty (since Marinette is Adrien’s friend) he wanted to see her flustered. But Marinette was cool as a cucumber, even with the danger. So Adrien thought she was cool.
-After Evillustrator battle. Chat noir tells ladybug he is going to check on Marinette. Since she was put in danger over it.
-So Balcony scene where Chat noir commends the baker girl, in which Marinette teases saying that He should stop being so flirty, ladybug might get jealous. He blushes and asks if that’s possible. Which chat noir then covers up with bravado. Marinette gives him some cookies as a thank you. And chat noir promises he will get her something as reward for her help.
-Adrien’s first civilian interaction with Ladybug is Pixalator, (it’s a change from the plot and character in who the akuma is). Ladybug basically guarding Adrien. As this girl is in hot pursuit of Adrien. Ladybug keeps him safe and it’s Marinette doing her best to be professional. He even saved ladybug once before “appearing to get captured.” Chat noir shows up shortly after. Apologizing he was late. Ladybug said it was fine, “Just don’t make it a habit”.
-Ladybug checks on Adrien after, and he thanks her. Asking if there is anything he could do to thank her. She smiles and tells him to enjoy life. And kisses his cheek before heading off.
-There will be LADRIEN AND MARICHAT

Consider the scene unfolding in front of Earving Lee. A young boy who witnessed something amazing, apart from other kids with super powers. It was two young girls who were hugging one another. They started to pull away until…
A golden strand peeked out of the left side of a girl's chest. It flowed with purpose, determining its shape hastily. The cognizant string of gold sloped down and it’s end connected into the other girls’ chest. Right at the bottom of her heart. It seemed to loop inside her heart and came back out the top. The rope repeated the same action and connected back to the first person. The golden rope started glowing once the infinity symbol was completed.
The two girls stared at each other and started smiling. They hugged each other again, this time exceedingly hard. At that time Earving didn't really know what it meant. But it looked so awesome, he wanted it to happen to him.
He went home to ask his parents what that meant and he was told, “Well, that means they found their soulmate.”
“What's a soulmate?”
“It's a person who no matter what happens will love you and you them. It's pure and never-ending.” His father replied.
“You guys love me like that right? Are we soulmates?”
Earving’s mother chuckled at his cute naivety, “No, Earving. Sweetie…this is a different type of love.”
Well, what exactly did that mean? What was the difference?
Once Earving grew older, he understood more of what a soulmate was. Not only that, but he understood how much he wanted a soulmate.He's been described by many friend and family as a softie. Earving is a romantic by heart and was dying to find his soulmate. He wanted to give love and receive it in return.
But after years of searching for someone, trying hard to see that infinity symbol, he was met with nothing. The loneliness and thought of him never meeting his soulmate hit harder once his best friend found his right at the end of high school. Graduation night. After that point, he often had disagreements with himself, mainly in the form of his cartoon friends. They tried talking sense into him. That he was feeling jealousy. He wanted the stifle these feelings instead of taking the advice of his friends to feel it through and understand it.
When he was hired at Vought, he didn't want to talk about soulmates anymore. He didn't even want to think about it. He focused on his career to develop himself as Black Noir, a hero and a starving actor.
Years pass and he endured his torturous assault by Soldier Boy. After he woke up out of the hospital and saw how extensive his injuries were, he didn't want a soulmate anymore. He didn't think someone would love him.
Throughout the years afterwards he had come more into terms of this injury. Accepting that they were a part of him. And that he was not less of a person for them. He had still given up on finding his soulmate that didn’t exist. Black Noir got older, becoming the face of Vought for some time until Homelander was ready to take over. And now has a new team, The Seven.
During a boring Tuesday on his weekly patrols, he decided to stop by his favorite cafe. It was a little crowded in there, but because of how intimidating he was, everyone moved out of this way. As he made his way to the counter, a thin golden thread came out of his chest through his armor. He was immediately perplexed; he thought he would never see the infamous soulmate rope come out of his heart. Said heart started racing as well as his thoughts.
His soulmate was here! He had a soulmate!
He started to frantically look around at everyone's chest to see if someone else had a rope showing. Unfortunately, he couldn’t tell. There were too many people crowded together and looking at him weirdly; considering he was looking at everyone's chest. That wouldn't be a good look for him and especially for Vought.
To make it seem like he wasn't being a creep, he decided to leave the cafe. The glowing feeling in his body made it feel like he had reopened an old quest he thought he would never complete. For the rest of the day, he was oddly energetic. Like he had a new lease on life.
Everyday he went by that same cafe to see if his soulmate would come back there again. Enough to have people take pictures and feature Black Noir on their IG stories. Earving tried to find his soulmate at that same cafe for a good two and a half weeks. Making sure to go there at the same time every day, 1:30 pm.
It was Thursday, 1:53 pm. Working on getting to his third week, sitting there looking out of his favorite window. He was contemplating if this plan would even work.
‘The rope hasn't come out of my chest and it's been nearly 3 damn weeks.…. I need to come at this from a different angle.’
As soon as he tried conjuring a new plan, he heard some screaming outside.
“FUCKING LOOK OUT!”
He saw a small crowd of people running away outside in the street. Concurrently, cars were abruptly stopping, trying to back up, or moving to the sidewalk in chaos. This was a mess that Black Noir needed to contain urgently. A small group of people in the shop gathered towards the windows to see what was going on. Which was stupid. There was a chance of broken glass that could slice someones neck open. There was enough he had to deal with at the moment. Black Noir pushed through the crowd to get outside.
A short and stout, sickly looking man stood outside in the middle of the street. He displayed a show of desperate anger. His skin was sweaty, veiny, very unpleasant to look at. A more fucked up Rumpelstiltskin.
He turned to attack the group of people who were running away. As Rumpelstiltskin delivered a powerful blow, Black Noir steps to take the brunt of the attack. The force pushes him back against the wall of a random building. Instead of feeling the pressure of brick, he felt cushion. And heard a sickening crack. Quickly looking behind him, saw that his cushion was a person.
He wanted to, but he couldn't check on them considering he was only supe around. He had to dispatch the enemy quickly so no more people would get hurt. Earving throws a knife, hitting his enemy in the abdomen. The moment Rumpelstiltskin doubles over, he runs over and pushed his head into the ground. Earving places a hand under the enemies neck as leverage while he using his other to punch his cranium. Each hit gives a gurgling crunch as the face in front of him caves in.
Rumpelstiltskin’s life came to an end. Black Noir swiftly forgets his existence as he surveys the damage. It’s mostly cosmetic, but the one injured party would need to be checked on. He approached to check on the person who was crushed against him and the wall.
Thankfully, they're alive. Still breathing but in obvious pain. They held their arm protectively and upon closer inspection, the arm was broken. As Black Noir got closer, he noticed the rope coming out of the victim's chest. It felt like forever watching the rope connect to his chest and loop out to create that amazing infinity symbol he's always wanted.
This was it. This was his soulmate. And while he was in awe and excited to find you, your health was more important. He decided from this point on he would protect you, love you, and enjoy you in a world with infinite diversity in its infinite combinations.

MLB Awakening review, which btw, will DEFINITELY CONTAIN SPOILERS
Okay so first off, gonna start with the things that I undeniably ENJOYED.
1. Duh. The animation. Everything looks. HEAVENLY. I love how they used so many vast techniques of lightings for all kinds of things and situations. I especially love how glowy they made the kwamis and miraculous look. I also love how expressive the kids are. Even freaking gabriel holy shit.
2. The MUSICALS. Literally y'all can fight me on this. I know some people hate that it's a musical, but personally I've never had much problem with it. (Though season 5 is a whole other situation and I was a bit skeptical) but the movie being a musical honestly excited me. The only downside is that freaking Ce mur qui nous separe SHOULD'VE BEEN HERE.
3. The lines and comedic timing. Gotta say. Is top tier. The watermelon bit? Loved it.
4. The lore and worldbuilding, though a bit different. I actually loved it. (There are some downside but I'll write that later) up till the reveal everything is pretty well done I'd say. And y'all the interactions is to DIE FOR (and yes, i especially loved how they talked and argued like actual 14 y.o apparently people hate this a lot? So i just feel a bit compelled to add this one in. And as much as i love the show, most times it honestly feels like they'reolder than 14, which again isn't necessarily a bad thing but I remember being surprised when it was first revealed that they were actually 14). And did y'all see gabriel holy shit. That man would've won in season 2 if his powers in the movie were put on the show
5. And i love, how both the show and movie are separate existence to each other. The movie is definitely a cute little fanfic that i get to treat myself to watch to again and again.
6. Hot take, I actually don't mind the voice change as much as I though I would. Lou and elliot sound heavenly and I live them for that
Now that that's all said and done. I must say there are some things that I prefer in the show.
1. Mainly. How their powers work. Now i dont think i have much problem with hawkmoth and chat noir's powers. Cause honestly the movie was able to highlight how dangerous the power of destruction is. And how a miraculous fallen to the wrong hand could be something so devastating, two 14 yo teenagers just, realistically at least, would not have been able to defeat said villain.
But ladybug's powers however. Well. I mean does she even have one at this point? Cause in the show her power is lucky charm and she had to use her wit to defeat the akumas. In the movie however she could just. Idk jazz hands and things are fixed.
2. What the heck happened to plagg😭. Like. I mean it was funny. But seriously why the fart jokes. It was kind of unnacessary i think. Show! Plagg would've patted adrien in the back for standing up to his dad
3. You can argue on me with this one. But i honestly think Adrien's headphones hust became his character trait cause everytime he appears he always has them on💀 it's not something I hate, but it really got you wondering and again, just a bit unnecessary.
Edited and a bit of an afterthought, but as much as i love the reveal. I do feel like the Adrienette side isn't developed enough for them to readily declare that they're immediately in love with one another. And hey not to be that person screaming about loving only one side of them. But it's not even about that really. Just that we've barely seen their interactions. And the last time they talked, adrien just found out that Marinette owns a bakery. So uh. Yeah.
