Character A is the newest recruit on the team and is desperate to prove themselves as capable, especially since they're made fun of for being "the rookie." On the next mission, A decides to prove themselves and disobeys orders, rushing in to fight the Big Bad. Unfortunately they overestimate their skills, and are about to be killed...only for B--their mentor--to save them at the last second. Unfortunately, B gets badly hurt in the process, leaving A with a ton of guilt and the team angry at A...

I just rewatch P&F and on season 4 episode 9 there is a scene of mayor monogram attending a "animal sensitivity seminar" and that's just funny in so many levels but now I can't help bur think of what other seminaries the agency might have.
Here are a few ideas
"Predator and prey does and don't of coexistance" (perry is in charger sin he brought the new recluts from Africa and they are mostly predators)
Nocturnal animals and how to stay awake during the day" (mostly bats and raccoons and they just complain of insomnia)
"Basiscs of paper work" (they are animals for Pete sake, they probably need a refreshing of memory every once in a while)
"Basics of 'incert country here' culture" (i headcanon that Peter the panda is from china division of OWCA and he toke the america seminar and have lots of notes and lots of questions)

Three Slavs Among Eight Signing Tuesday in Local Regiment
----
There were eight new recruits for the Second Battalion, Tuesday night, and three of these were Yugoslavs, in the persons of Mike Mijatovitch, Matt Yakasovitch, and John Parlow. Mijatovitch saw service in the Yugoslav army in 1925 and 1926. These Slavs will be kept as a nucleus for a Slav platoon which, it is hoped, may be formed by recruits from the Sault and district.
The other recruits were Donald Moore ,Frank Lefave, William Murray and Dennis O’Sullivan.
Headquarters and B Companies held a route march on Tuesday night travelling north on Queen to Gore to Cathcart to John and up to Wellington and returned to the armoury, where they were given a demonstration with the Bren gun. Last night there was a parade of A company.
According to the Minister of National Defence ,many more recruits are needed for this battalion, and if there is not more voluntary effort in the very near future, more forceful measures may be adopted.

ANOTHER large draft of new recruits for the Canadian Army left St. Luke Road Barracks today for basic training centres at Chatham, Listowel and Ipperwash. Some of the men, new in Canadian khaki, are shown boarding the train. The soldiers were enlisted, equipped and received initial training at the barracks. They were taught the first fundamentals of soldiering by the staff of competent instructors at the barracks.
