Whump Prompt #1351
@des-pa-cee-toee asked:
Inhuman whumpee who’s distant because they’re afraid that they’ll be shunned if they told their friends the truth? Do you have any ideas about situations I could make to force them to admit it :)? Thanks
Off the top of my head:
Truth potions/spells.
Forced to reveal the information or their friends get hurt.
Forced to reveal the information so their friends are freed.
“Go on, show them who you really are!”
An illness that makes them more likely to reveal their inhuman attributes.
Artefacts that force the whumpee to show their true selves,
Forced to take on their inhuman form so they can protect everyone (if their more powerful when not suppressing their image)
An argument that turns sour and they accidentally use one of their abilities.
Someone pulls a prank on them causing them to reveal themselves.
Someone pulls a ‘prank’ to purposefully get them to reveal themselves.

Whump Prompt #1350
Anon asked:
Do you have any whump love potion stuff? Maybe with a seperate party trying to force two folk together, almost two whumpees and one whumper who likes the feeling of playing god?
I’ll be honest I could only think of some NSFWHUMP ideas for this one - though everyone is welcome in the replies/reblogs to share their own ideas!
TW: MENTIONS OF NONCON | ABUSE
To start off mildly, the whumpee could just straight up be allergic to the potion which causes negative side effects. (Stomach pain, hives etc)
The whumper might use it to get the whumpees on their side/or uses it to make the whumpees adore them, so whatever the whumper does to them, the whumpees still love them. For example, the whumper could beat them both to hell and back, but the potion forces them to believe the whumper does it out of love. It’s pretty messed up but would make for good psychological whump.
^ there could also be a moment where the potion wears off for one character, but the other character is still under the influence. This causes a huge argument, and maybe the whumper separates them for a while because of it.
The whumper could also use it in a noncon situation. In which the whumpees are made to desire eachother for the whumpers own personal reasons. The whumper could begin with low doses before upping it to see how things play out. This could have dire effects on their current relationships.
^ This could even be used as blackmail material in the right hands. (Eg, publicising love letters written while under the potions influence, or the whumpees being caught holding hands etc etc)

Whump Prompt #1349
Submitted by Anon - thanks!
A god whumper seeing a mortal whumpee being offered to them and decide to keep them. They drape them in the finest silks and cover them in beautiful jewelry—it’s nice to talk to someone. However the constant begging to go home is annoying so the whumper removes the memories of their previous life and keeps the mortal as a companion.

"Used as bait" trope in media!
Welcome to my (very dumb) series! This is where I show videos and such of media where the trope, used as bait, is in! I show off a video or something like that that contains the scene where the used as bait trope applies!
You can also share me your recommendations on media where the trope happens. Just two things:
1. No NSFW
2. It has to be media. No fanfiction, fan works, etc. Original stuff that's only posted online is fine!
For those wondering what the trope is:
The used as bait trope is where an antagonist kidnaps a character (mostly a love interest) as bait in order to lure the Hero into a trap. It can be the other way around, where the Hero uses one of their teammates as bait to try to lure in a killer, but I'm more focused on the first part of the trope!
So. I'll share the first piece of media with the used as bait trope soon!

Whump Prompt #1347
Anon asked:
Do you have any ideas on how to write a whumpee with an incredible amount of magic power within them, fighting to keep it under control and maintaining said fight?
I have a few:
Maybe they have to use a pendant/spell/potion etc to keep the magic contained. What happens if they forget/are unable to use these methods to contain their power?
Do they take on a different form? If so the transition would be pretty painful. Maybe they sprout horns, a tail, sharp teeth etc. The transformation creates open wounds and painful joints with heavy bruising and swelling.
An oldie-but-goodie trope is the whumpee using their magic when emotional. Maybe they do it out of anger/resentment/fear/panic when themselves or a loved one is threatened.
… maybe they harm a loved one when they’re unable to control their magic any more…
Does their personality change as a result of it? Do they become a different version of themselves that is more unrestrained than their normal counterpart.
Maybe after seeing the effect their wild magic has, the caretakers fight to help the whumpee keep it under control. Maybe they set aside a routine for them to carry out the necessary task to help them stay on track, but they’re also ready with painkillers/healing magic when the whumpees powers fight back a little too much.
I like the idea of the character(s) going to a place/being near a person/artefact that triggers the whumpees internal magic more, therefore making the adventure more painful for the whumpee. Maybe they try to hide it from those around them until the magic becomes too much to contain/their physical appearance begins to change.

Whump Prompt #1346
Anon asked:
Any ideas for an athlete whumpee? Specifically a sprinter who constantly pushes herself harder than she should, much to the frustration of her sister and partner.
Love your prompts btw! <3
Thank you for the kind words! I have a few ideas for you:
TW: Mentions of substance abuse:
Your stubborn sprinter probably ignores signs of injury/strain. Maybe a huge competition is coming up and they cannot afford to rest. The relentless training could lead to a serious setback if they’re not careful.
Because of this over training, the whumpee becomes agitated, and this affects their relationships. Maybe they’re more on edge because of the pain they’re in, or they’re just so focussed on the goal, they they lose sight on what’s important.
Do the supporting characters hold an intervention-of-sorts? At which the whumpee storms out after a heated argument claiming “Fine, I’ll do it on my own!”
Does the whumpee abuse things like supplements and steroids? This could affect their body in more ways than one.
Going back to the relationship theme: the constant pressure to perform strains the relationships as the sister and partner struggle to communicate their concerns and the whumpee begins to resent their interference.
However, sooner or later the sprinter has a huge competition while dealing with an injury/the consequences of overtraining. They’re torn between the desire to prove themselves and the need to prioritize their health. After vowing to stop interfering, the partner/sister sit back to watch the train wreck.
The real question is, do they collapse before, during or after the event? For added angst, they could have a moment before the event that they nearly do, but have to push on for the sake of their ego.
When the collapse inevitably happens, the sprinter reflects on their choices and realizes the toll the overtraining has taken on their body, leading to a moment of regret and self-awareness.
After the whumpee has pushed them away, how willing are the caretakers to help them get back on their feet?

Whump Prompt #1345
@whumperofworlds asked:
Do you have any prompts for hostage videos?
I got this idea stuck in my head, hope it helps!:
I like the idea of the whumpee not being shown straight away. The whumper really wants to make a production of it, so they're teasing the whumpee reveal. However, in the background noises can be heard. They're very distracting as the whumper waffles on, padding time to allow those receiving the video to hear them moving chains, testing tools, turning on blowtorches etc. Maybe there's a shift of the chair and a quiet "No - please." before the video ends too.
The next one is similar, except there's the tell-tale signs of the whumpee trying to keep quiet with every strike. This format continues for a few videos until the whumpee finally breaks and screams when the whumper is halfway through their demands. There's a glimpse of a smirk on the whumpers face before they excuse themselves and the video ends.
The next video stars the whumpee and whumper sitting side by side. The whumper is acting all friendly with them, but the whumpee flinches at every movement. (However your whumpee looks can be based on what you're subjecting them to behind the scenes).
I can imagine them to be treating it almost like an interview (or even a vlog depending on the setting/timeframe). Where the whumper asks the whumpee what they'd prefer, where the information is etc etc, all coming to a head when the whumper asks: "Is there anything you'd like to say to the people at home?"
And the whumpee explodes with pleads, trying to wrench themselves from where they're bound to the chair to get closer to the camera.
"Don't do it, please don't give them what they want - I'm fine! Don't give them anything-."
There's a cut.
And the chair next to the whumper is empty. They smile at the camera. There's crying in the background.
"Looks like we haven't quite convinced them yet. We'll see you next week where hopefully they'll be more... agreeable."

Whumpee who's just. So numb. So totally incapable of doing... Anything. They have to be bathed, hand-fed, kept in a soft, quiet room with their caretaker. It's the only way they feel safe.

Whump Prompt #1342
Submitted by @red-river-potato01 - thanks!
Character A is the black sheep of the team and isn't very well-liked by most of the others. Because of this they often lash out at the others since all they ever get is negative feedback. When the rookie Character B joins, A assumes they'll be like the others, especially when the team warns B about them. Yet to their surprise, B ignores all that and is nice to A. A isn't sure what to think, but they soon become very protective of B, enough so that they put themselves in harm's way for them...

Whump Prompt #1341
Anon asked:
Prompts for older sibling whumpee + younger sibling caretaker? Younger sibling holds slight grudge against whumpee ("you still remember that?" "how could i forget?!"). The Whumpee is athletic/competitive.
Here's a few:
After much deliberation the younger sibling reluctantly cares for the older whumpee after an injury incurred during a competitive/sided event. Maybe a sibling was part of the wrong crowd and was cooerced into believing the older sibling is the enemy. Still, they don’t fully believe the rumours when they see their sibling bleeding out.
Maybe there’s a flashback of the older always helping the youngest through something, and the youngest always says they’ll help them back. Despite the resentment they may have due to the grudge, they still have a promise to uphold.
^ “So… you’re helping me because I got things off the top shelf for you?” / “You taught me to drive. You put plasters on my cuts and got [childhood bully] to leave me alone.” / “You feel like you have to because I helped you?” / “Because you were my brother.”
The younger sibling, while tending to the whumpee's injury, can't help but bring up past. It’s a low blow considering how awful the whumpee already feels.
The younger sibling begrudgingly assists the whumpee, and uses an odd mix of sarcasm and caring words.
Maybe the older siblings competitive drive had previously overshadowed the younger sibling's achievements, leading to a heart-to-heart conversation about feeling overshadowed and undervalued. Maybe this is why the younger sibling turned to the Bad Guys.
However, while the younger sibling initially resented the older one, they eventually become a source of unwavering support during the whumpees recovery, acknowledging growth and maturity in their older sibling (and vice-versa)

Whump Prompt #1340
@skiny406 asked:
Would you do a prompt where caretaker and whumpee have a huge fight, and then whumpee is hurt (stabbed, poisoned, whatever you want) and tries to call caretaker but they just don’t answer (either is busy or just mad) and later they got to hear the VOICEMAILS.
I thought of a string of voicemails. Feel free to change them to suit your injury/situation!
“Hey it’s me, I know you don’t want to talk to me but I- fuck I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, and If I can do anything, I will. I’ll uh- I’ll maybe talk to you later?”
“Hi [character], I hope you’re alright. Um. I know you don’t want to talk to me, and I do understand but- but I really need you to call me back.”
“I’m sorry. That’s selfish of me, you don’t need to call me back… it would just be good to hear your voice. I’m um, I’m sorry for everything. I hope you’re okay. Probably better than me right now, ha, but don’t worry, I’ll uh. I’ll be alright.”
“Fuck, ouch, alright. Hey [character], ah, would you- could- maybe call me back? It’s um. Shit I’m sorry, it’s not important, I’ll try [another character] again.”
*starts with the whumpee gasping for breath* “H- hi, it’s me, please, I know you’re mad, and you don’t want to talk to me again but I- I really need you to call me back.”
“Alright. Message received. You’re pissed at me- you’re fucking pissed and I’m sorry, alright? Just- pick up the phone. Please. I-I’m in trouble again.”
*there’s a pause with just some breathing. There are voices in the background.*
“Heeeyyy [character], sorry about the last one. Pocket dial hahah! Must have done it when I sat down.” *they stop to cough, it’s hacking and wheezy.* “I’m sorry. I really am- I shouldn’t have shouted at you, you didn’t deserve that. I’m in a bit of trouble… it’s’all a bit blurry, but- but I managed to get here on my own. Call me back… please?”
“It’s um. It’s not looking good. I- I just want to say I’m sorry, again, I truly am.” They’re gasping now, perhaps crying. “I’m sorry….”
“This is [nurses name] calling from [the hospital], [whumpee] has you listed as their emergency contact. Please call this number as soon as you’re available.”
*there’s another message. Just voices and the whirring of machines. Maybe some crying. There’s a muffled curse before it cuts off again.*
“… I miss you.”
“Do you miss me? I- I understand if you don’t. Just tell me you’re okay, please?”
“I can go home tomorrow. I’ve been given the all clear, I’m sorry for scaring you. I’ll um. I’ll leave you alone. I um. I understand, I’m a mess. You were right. Just - no - don’t call me back.”

Whump Prompt #1338
@olithatwriter asked:
Do you have any Rookie Sidekick whumpee, Superhero caretaker, and villain whumper?
I have a few ideas:
The Rookie Sidekick gets captured by the villain, facing harsh treatment and cruelty, causing distress and fear. The Superhero, who is generally level headed, loses their mind with anger and worry.
After the rescue, the Rookie struggles with trauma from their captivity, and the Superhero takes on the role of a supportive caretaker, helping them cope with the experience. Following the ordeal, the Superhero takes the Rookie under their wing, providing better training and guidance to improve their skills.
In the future, the villain targets the Rookie again, seeking revenge for their interference, but the Rookie manages to escape. As a true test of the Rookies endurance, the Villain then kidnaps the Superhero and uses them as bait.
Maybe in a different scenario, the Superhero's secret identity gets exposed to the villain, putting both the Superhero and their Rookie sidekick at risk - what does the Superhero do to keep the Rookie safe? Do they fail in their role of protector? What happens to the Rookie when their identity is revealed?
