Kisame: Ouch ... *rubs his shoulder* For someone so small, you sure do hit hard ... Konan: And there's more where that came from if you don't cut that negative shit out. You're not a monster, you're a member of this family. This chaotic, convoluted, insanity-laced thing known as the Akatsuki. Okay? Kisame: *leans over and puts both arms around Konan, hugging her* Okay. Thank you. And ... could you make salmon miso soup? That huge one you caught earlier should be enough to feed everyone. And the rest of the fish we can salt and put away for an other time. Konan: Sounds good to me. You ready to get going then? Preparation for it will take a while. Kisame: *begins gathering up the gear* Alright. And you know, now that you've mentioned a cake, I think I might enjoy that. A fish cake. Konan: You mean a cake in the shape of a fish? I suppose I can manage that, if I get creative and -- Kisame: No, no; a regular cake, but with one of the fishes stuck inside. Ohhhh, can you imagine how spectacular that will taste! Tenten and Sai are literally a woman who just wants to be heard and a man who wants to listen. I think they’d be so cute. 

Asuma and Shizune would be high-strung and laidback in compatible ways. I could see them being disappointed and disillusioned together on the road with a spiralling Tsunade in the background. I literally lay in bed listening to “Chemtrails over the Country Club” and “You’re in the wind, I’m in the water/Nobody’s son, nobody’s daughter” and “Washing my hair, doing the laundry/Late-night TV, I want you only” are so them lol.

This is a rare pair that has a ton of cool potential for drama, angst, and hilarity that I hope you'll take a chance on! Do you ever just fall in love with a completely random crossover ship? I have. The characters don't exist in the same universe, they may have little or nothing in common, the idea may have just come out of goddamn nowhere, but that doesn't matter. The ship just lodges in your brain and it doesn't leave.
