I don't know if this is related to me being by nature a sad bitch, or perhaps that I can count on one hand the number of times I have gone to the clerb (for reasons of sensory defensiveness and also social anxiety), but I am kind of only just now realising how valuable and necessary fun pop music with a strong beat that doesn't have even the merest tinge of melancholy is.
