Domestic fluff with Lucien
Just soft compliments, cuddling, hugs and fluff
My baby deserves the WORLD
pairing; lucien vanserra x fem!reader
warnings; none! just fluff and a little suggestive flirting
The apartment is quiet this time of morning. Blazing hues of orange and yellow and pink creep over the horizon, and iridescent rays push their way past the curtains and onto your sleeping face, illuminating the gentle scrunch of your features as you rouse from softly dozing.
A yawn cracks your face right in two, and your limbs stretch and twist in voyage of your mate, of the warmth of him that you so desperately want to curl into- you find only crumpled sheets and a bare space where he should be.
Then you're reluctantly rolling out of the cocoon of comfort between the thick bedsheets, and tiptoeing your way down the stairs in nothing but your thin sleep shorts and a bra.
A flash of bright auburn draws your eye to Lucien, his back to you as he pours two mugs full of scalding tea, the steam rising and curling around his long, ring adorned fingers that clasp the teapot. A smile tugs your lips up at the corners, even more so when he turns to set the pot down, his rasping cadence humming a lilting tune that pulls you toward him like a magnet.
Your hands move of their own accord, snaking their way up the base of his spine and flaring out until your fingers are splayed against miles of bare, golden skin. He shivers under your touch, leaning back just as you twine your arms firmly around his midriff and plant your face against the dip of his back.
"Hi, gorgeous," you murmur, voice thick and sticky with sleep. The heat that emanates from him wreaths itself around your very bones, crusting lashes falling closed when he amusedly tugs on the mating bond and exhales a deep breath through his nostrils.
"Morning, sleepy girl," he laughs, twisting in your grip until you're eye level with his chest, cheeks red-hot with affection and smushed against the smooth plane of muscle of his pec. "You're up early."
"You weren't in bed," you murmur; the vibrations of your words reverberate against Lucien's bare skin. His boxers are hung low in his hips, enticing your hands to sweep lower, tips of your cold fingers breaching the thin elastic.
"Easy," he groans, stopping you short on your journey beneath his underwear. "You little minx."
You tip your head back to meet his eyes - one russet and one of incandescent gold that whirs when he tips his gaze down to watch you.
"You love me," you tease. "You can't get enough of me, handsome."
"Mm." The grating scratch of his voice has you arching into his touch, tucking your shoulder beneath his armpit as he stretches to the counter and places a mug in your free hand. You hum appreciatively, nose scrunching tight when he leans down to smear a kiss over the crown of your head. "You're insatiable."
The words are a murmur against your hair but you don’t miss them- you never do. Your head tilts up to scrape against the sharp curve of his jaw, and then you’re tugging him to the living room, forcing him down into the soft leather and haphazardly attempting to lay across him; you’re a mess of sprawled limbs and frazzled hair, draped messily over his lap as you try to avoid sloshing him with your cup of tea and barely succeed.
He hooks a corded bicep over the nape of your neck and sinks into the sofa, softening at your reverent touch, the way you idly twist the ends of his hair and shuffle yourself closer to cover more of his body with your own. Your breath is hot and tickling at his bare chest.
“I love you, y’know,” you sigh, watching the way his face contorts with adoration at your words; your sticky lashes kiss at the corners, pushed together by your beaming grin. “Didn’t think I’d ever find my mate. But you. You’re perfect. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be tied to my soul.”
“For a descendant of Satan, you’re pretty cheesy, my darling,” he drawls, crows feet crinkling with laughter as you gasp, features morphing into a scowl that only serves to make him laugh with more fervour.
“I won’t stand for this, Lucien. Don’t make me take it back!”
“You wouldn’t,” he roars with amusement. “You love me.”
“I hate you,” you grumble, flushing white-hot all over.
“I love you too, my little devil.”

can i please request request something really fluffy with the acotar men where reader calls them baby or something sweet, and it’s their first time hearing it bc they’re used to be called bastard or something horrible so they’re in shock and just melt and maybe get teary-eyed, reader just hugs them and praises them more😭🖤
Calling them Baby headcanon
A/n: half of them would cry Ik it
Rhysand
I think Rhys’s mom called him a lot of sweet names when she was alive and after he lost her he lost that affection
When you call him baby you just needed his attention to ask him a question. You were sitting in his office with him when you realized you two don’t have dinner plans
“Rhys. Hey Rhysie. Rhysaaanndd.” He was clearly wrapped up in work but he seemed to raise his head to listen to you
“Baby,” you cooed and he immediately stopped. Rhys looked up at you, his violet eyes bright and wide
“Yes my darling?” He gets up from his desk to join you on the couch. Sitting down he holds your hands, pulling them into his lap, never taking his eyes off you
“Should we go out to dinner tonight?” You ask with a smile. He nods excitedly, “Yes, absolutely. Wherever you want.” He gives your lips a quick kiss and pulls you on to his lap hugging you tightly
“Rhys, are you ok?” He buries his face into your neck breathing in your scent, nodding lightly. “I’m perfect darling.”
Cassian
He had lovers that called him stupid shortened versions of his name but nothing with love behind it like you did. And he was never shown love by an adult figure in his life at the camps so this would just make him want to hold you to give you that love back
Cassian was frustrated when you found. He was rummaging through drawers in his office murmuring to himself about something he misplaced
You just wanted to help him so you silently started looking around his office for the lost paper
When you finally found it you were so happy bc Cass could stop worrying
“Baby, I found it!” You held up the paper with a giant smile on your face and Cassian froze, staring at you with his lips slightly parted
“Wh-what?” His voice barley above a whisper. “The paper you were trying to find. I found it for you.” You walked over, holding it out to him
At this point Cassian didn’t even care about the report he was just staring at you
Cassian gently held your shoulders and pulled you into his chest for a long hug
Azriel
Azriel never knew affection similar to Cass. His family was just awful and then going to Windhaven wasn’t great but having that brotherly love was nice. And Rhys’s mom was like a mother to him but he wanted more
He always craved the love Rhys and Cass found and now he has it with you. You always made sure to show Azriel he is loved, at times he feels like he doesn’t deserve you
The two of you were in bed one morning just enjoying each other before you had to get up
You placed a kiss on his forehead and played with his short black hair, “I think we need to get up baby.”
A stupid love sick smile took over his features. You had never seen him like this, so free and vulnerable
“Ok, just five more minutes.” He said, placing a gentle kiss on your lips
From that morning on every time you’d call Az baby or some other endearing nickname he’d give you that same gentle kiss
Lucien
Lucien was always competing for attention but never saw the point. I think even with Tamlin their friendship took a long time to get to a point where Lucien wasn’t competing for his attention with others
With you it was different, you gave him all of your attention from day one and he basked in it
Today was a bad day for him and he just wanted to be around you
He was holding a lot of his feelings in and was on the brink of letting them out even though he didn’t want to. He knew you’d help him calm down
Lucien found you in the library and curled into your side, resting his head on your chest as you absentmindedly ran your fingers through his hair
“Everything is going to be ok baby. Tomorrow will be better.” Lucien started blinking back tears at the nickname
He gripped you a little tighter and whispered, “Thank you.” As he let his tears fall, feeling safe with you
Eris
Eris, like Rhys, only had affection from his mom but his stopped once things with Beron took a turn for the worst
When you came along it took Eris a while to trust you and feel comfortable around you
You were passing each other in the hall, Eris was coming back from morning training and you were headed to breakfast
You two stopped to quickly kiss and promise to catch up later
“Bye baby, have a good day.” Eris froze as you walked away. Before he could say anything you disappeared around the corner
It was hours before he saw you again and the whole day he couldn’t stop thinking about you
Eris joined you for dinner early that night. When he saw you he scooped you up in his arms spinning around
“Hi baby. I missed you today.” You said, giggling as Eris put you down
Eris looked at you like you were the only person in the world as he rested his forehead against yours, “I love that. That you give me little nicknames. Please never stop.” “Never.” You whispered back

Dreaming of You
Lucien x Reader smut
warnings: smut, breeding kink, oral f!receiving, p in v sex
Tumblr media
A breathy moan flowed from your lips, eyes twisted shut as pleasure rolled through you. Your fingers wound through Lucien’s long hair, gently encouraging the flick of his tongue against your swollen clit.
“Luc, please. I need you inside of me,” you pleaded, voice a soft whine as you peered down at your mate. You stifled another whine as his warm lips left your heat, looking over your round belly to meet your gaze.
His hand rose to softly rub the bump on your stomach, lips pressing a reverent kiss to your womb. A mischievous glint shone in his eye, toned body sliding along yours as he settled over you.
“Always so greedy. We haven’t even had this one yet, and you’re begging me to fuck you full?” He teased, tongue licking up the shell of your ear as his hand slid to your heavy, swollen breast.
You moaned, writhing beneath him in a weak attempt to get closer, silently cursing your full womb as your hips wound against nothing. “Yes, please, Lucien. Just please, fill me up,” you nearly cried, slick seeping onto the sheets beneath you.
“As my mate wishes,” Lucien purred, his full lips finding yours as his hands spread your legs as far as they were able, hips settling over your own. You gasped at the feel of his cock against your core, Lucien taking the opportunity to push his tongue past your lips.
He stroked your tongue in tandem with his hips, both of them warm as his cock slid between your folds, coating himself in your arousal.
“Cauldron, Lucien, please stop teasing,” you pleaded, trying to arch into him. A soft chuckle left his lips, minty breath soft mingling with your own.
“Apologies, my love. Allow me to make it up to you,” Lucien murmured. You swore you could feel the fire in his veins as his thick cock thrust inside of you to the hilt, the stretch sending waves of pleasure rolling through you.
“Yes, Luc,” you moaned, nails raking down his back as your mate thrust deeply, slowly into you. It was perfect, erotic, passionate, and you thought you could die of pleasure. Just as you felt the coil inside of you tighten, legs shaking from the pleasure Lucien was giving you, his hand shook your arm, drawing your attention from the moment.
You gasped, eyes blinking rapidly to take in the dark room around you, your mate laying next to you with a concerned expression on his face. You looked down to see your stomach at its normal size, Lucien’s hand on your arm as his thumb gently stroked the skin there.
“Hey,” he murmured. “You were talking in your sleep. Everything okay?”
Flushing furiously, you glanced around the room as you came back to reality. Your hand absentmindedly found your stomach, stroking the place where your child was in your dream.
Looking up at your mate, you granted Lucien a soft smile. “I was dreaming about you,” you whispered. “And I was pregnant.” Eyes lined with silver as you mourned a life you didn’t know you had wanted, missing the child you didn’t have.
“Is that what you want, my love?” Lucien asked softly. Then, taking in your expression, the scent of arousal growing in the room, he smirked. “You want me to breed you? To make babies with you?”
He slid across your body, stiff cock grinding against your soaked core. “I’m going to fill you up, full of my seed. And when I’m done, I’ll stuff my cum back inside of you with my cock and go again.”
Your breaths grew short, dizzying pleasure overtaking your senses as you felt Lucien’s warm hands pushing up the hem of your nightgown. “Yes, Luc. That’s what I want.”
“Then that’s what shall be, sunshine,” your mate promised, voice thick as he trailed a path of kisses down your neck and chest. Lower, lower, lower.

Love Language
Tumblr media
Summary - Lucien never wanted you to question his love, so he makes sure you never have to by leaving small reminders every time he leaves.
Warnings - Fluff, missing your partner
A/N - A few of you said I should clear out my Lucien stuff from Google docs, so I figured I would start doing that 🧡
Lucien Masterlist
Tumblr media
You smiled at the random note that appeared on the bathroom mirror from the steam.
“Your smile is like dawn breaking after a long night.”
Lucien loved to leave you little notes, little reminders of his love. It surprised you at first when the bond snapped. Words of love and comfort were constantly appearing in your room, in your office, sometimes, when Lucien was away, Tamlin would even hand deliver them.
The High Lord had told you it was due to his lost love. He had so many words he had wished to say, so many regrets left unspoken. Lucien did not want the same fate with you. He wanted, no, he needed you to hear every word, every thought, every murmur of affection.
You leaned forward, finger writing back in the steam. “If only my smile was enough to warm your darkest days.”
The afternoon had fallen to night quickly. Stars now twinkled above you as you sat curled up on the balcony with your new book. Lucien had sent it to you from wherever Tamlin had him patrolling. He would be gone the next two days, and you could hardly wait for him to be home. You missed his kisses, his hands, his soft expressive eyes as he whispered his love.
You opened the cover and immediately began to cry. Lucien's handwriting sprawled the blank page, letters swirling and connecting like a dance. The book was about star-crossed lovers from two different courts that were constantly at war. Lucien said he had consumed it, refusing to put it down when he first got it, and now he needed you to read it. To read of their love that ran so deeply that at the thought of losing one another was enough to make them both end their lives.
He said he had thought of you while reading it, that he could never imagine life without you. His love sprawled every inch of that page, soaking the fine ink into rich parchment. The book didn't even matter anymore. You wanted to spend the night tracing those curls, the dots, the curved lines. You wanted to memorize the words that felt like poetry he wrote for you and only you. You couldn't help but bring the book to your nose, sighing as the faint scent of sunlight and cinnamon embraced your senses.
You opted to move back into the room. That scent lingered there stronger, wrapping you in a blanket of security. The glistening night sky, so beautiful and pure, was long forgotten as you curved up with Lucien's pillow, the book still resting in your hands as if it was a lifeline close to him. The bond tugged a couple of times, saying goodnight and that he loved you. In two more days, notes would be words.
2 days.
Just 2 more long days.

It’s so quiet in the world tonight
Lucien x reader
Summary: you and Lucien having a quiet night at home, soaking in the peace, discussing how things will change when your baby arrives
Author’s note: kicking off my 1k celebration with my boy Lulu!!!
(1k celebration masterlist 🍾)
Tumblr media
“I’m just excited to see a babe growing up around here,” Helion said, looking at your belly. Your father in law harbored a lot of regret about not being around for Lucien as a babe and not knowing that he was his until a few decades ago.
It took a long time, but they have a lovely bond and get along extremely well. Granted, neither of them had a hard time getting along with most.
Except Beron.
You smile at your father in law, excited to see him take on the role of grandfather.
“Except the name ‘grandfather’ will make me feel so ancient. Is there any other name I could use?”
He had been going back and forth ever since you told him the news. If anyone could make your pregnancy about themselves, it was Helion. You didn’t mind, though. It was much better than nursemaids and various citizens who insisted on asking how you were at all hours of the day.
It was kind of them, and you didn’t resent them that much, but sometimes you felt more like a traveling carnival attraction carrying the next heir of Day instead of a mother carrying her babe.
You couldn’t blame them - it was exciting. They didn’t get to cherish Lucien as he grew up, and so now they were taking the time to let you know how adored the two of you were amongst the citizens of Day.
Lucien was so loved in Day, and he had no issues making his interest in you known. In fact, one of his first acts as a member of Day’s royal court was courting you.
It made you incredibly glad you had declined Helion’s many previous offers to warm his bed.
A little over a decade into your marriage, the two of you decided to forego your fertility tonic, leaving things up to the Mother to decide. Six years later, you found yourself with a swollen belly, an excited husband, and two antsy high lords.
Eris’s frequent visits to his mother and brother made him the first person you had confided in about your pregnancy. It had been an accident, really. You had only figured it out a few hours earlier, and he happened to be the first person you saw.
It just came tumbling out of your mouth.
Eris had actually been extraordinarily kind following your outburst, after his initial taunt of “is this how you greet people now, sister?”
Lucien found you crying on Eris’s shoulder a few hours later, his brother’s well-tailored jacket tracked with your makeup. If Eris noticed, he didn’t let on.
“I didn’t know your first act as High Lord was to make my wife cry,” Lucien said, striding towards the two of you huddled on a couch.
Eris waves his hand in the air, “I managed to sign two treaties and lift an embargo before I came here to antagonize your wife. She wasn’t first on my list, brother.”
Lucien sits on the other side of you, placing his hand gently on your back, rubbing soothing circles.
“What’s wrong, sunshine? Was Eris’s company so troublesome it reduced you to tears?”
You crack a smile as Eris lifts your head off of his shoulder, delicately placing it on Lucien’s shoulder.
“How you wound me, Lu. I’ll be sending you the bill to have my jacket cleaned.”
Lucien’s surprise at Eris’s departure doesn’t last long, as he looks back to you, your tears having stalled for a moment.
“I- Lu, I- I’m pregnant.”
His eyes light up, and you can tell he loses control for a moment because his skin glows a radiant glow, his red hair almost blinding. He grabs your hands, placing them in his, as he asks, “is that why you were crying?”
You nod your head, the action causing a pain throughout your head.
“Are you worried?” He asks, concern on his features.
You stare into his eyes, his mechanical one whirring taking in everything about you. The look on his face told you your concerns were ill-founded, but they still tumbled out of your mouth.
“How are we going to teach them how to read? I’ve never taught anyone how to read.”
His brows furrow, and his eyes light with amusement.
“I think we have a few minutes before teaching them how to read, I’m sure we can figure something out.”
He pauses, cutting you off before you can speak again, “and I’m sure we’ll have plenty of time to figure out how to teach them how to count.”
You and Lucien had sat on that couch for hours, all of your worries melting away with your husband’s comforting words.
And the realization from Lu that you could, in fact, hire a tutor to teach the babe how to read.
The two of you had retired to your rooms after dinner with Helion, where he made zero progress with names for your babe to call him.
The name “Papa Hehe” was what led the two of you to excuse yourselves so you could laugh in private over how much thought he was putting into the names.
Lucien helped you out of your dress, pulling it over your head.
“You know,” he says, putting the dress away and picking up one of your nightgowns, “my taking your dress off is how we ended up here.”
You push his chest lightly, “Lu, I’m so swollen I can hardly walk down the corridors.”
His smirk turns feline, “I never said you had to move.”
“I’m due any day now,” you tell him.
“I heard that pleasure can help induce labor,” he whispers in your ear, tucking hair behind it.
You laugh into Lucien’s mouth as he kisses you, holding you as close as the bump would allow him to. You let him guide you to the bed, and he helps you lay down on your back, your hair adorning the pillow behind you in a halo.
Lucien’s hand caressed your swollen belly, receiving a light kick in response.
“And pray tell, what is my baby girl doing awake at this hour?”
You roll your eyes, giving up ages ago on correcting him. Neither of you had any inkling as to the sex, but Lucien was convinced it was a babygirl.
“She got confused and thought we lived in the Night Court.”
Lucien chuckles as he drags his hands up your thigh, delicately placing kisses up your calf and up your thigh, your moans spurring him on further.
And damn it all if Lucien wasn’t right about his baby girl, who arrived about twelve hours later.

'Cause Somewhere in the Crowd There's You | Lucien
Tumblr media
summary: When Tamlin sends Lucien to the Night Court as his emisssary, he stumbles upon a nightclub and finds himself captivated by you. His sweet nightingale.
warnings: angst, mentions of blood and violence (reader is trapped in a nightclub)
a/n: This is part of my ABBA x ACOTAR series (masterlist) where I dedicate a song to a character (: but also was inspired by Lana Del Rey's music and a hint of Oscar Wilde ♥️ This takes place roughly before Amarantha's rule. If I'm going to be honest, I find Lucien hard a bit hard to write for (but this song really gave me lucien vibes) so I hope this doesn't come off a bit out of character for him. also why is it so hard to find pics that match Lucien's vibe on pinterest.
Tumblr media
Trapped in the ceaseless rhythm of melancholic blues, you can’t help but feel sick and tired of everything. Days blur into nights. All you do is eat and sleep and sing. The weight of routine presses down on you, suffocating the spark that once fueled your passion.
You wish every show to be your last.
That is, until you see him.
He emerges from the crowd like a radiant sun breaking through the darkest night. His presence is tall and striking with skin kissed by the sun and a cascade of red hair. Despite the length of scars that run down the left side of his face, there is an undeniable elegance and beauty that surrounds him. His eye holds you captive, drawing you in like a moth to a flame and your voice falters for a brief note.
**
Lucien knows he should leave. Hewn city is not a welcoming one and his meeting with the High Lord of the Night Court did not go well. But against the warning bells ringing in his head, he decides to linger and wander around the dark city. With no clear destination in mind, his feet guide him through the labyrinthine alleys until, almost as if compelled by an unseen force, he stands before the entrance of a mysterious nightclub. Bathed in an eerie red light, the sign above reads The Rose.
As he approaches, the entrance, despite being small, appears almost ethereal. Shadows dance upon the towering stone walls. The air is thick with an alluring blend of magic, pleasure and something darker. Inside is just as mysterious and intoxicating. He should leave and he turns around to do so when he a mesmerizing sound stops him and holds him in place.
“In the land of gods and monsters.”
A beautiful and heavenly voice. It beckons him forward like a siren’s call and he allows the fae lights embedded in the cavern to guide him further. The corners of the nightclub harbor hidden alcoves, draped in luxurious silks and velvet.
“I was an angel living in the garden of evil.”
Some high fae engage in secretive exchanges and gambles. Some are lost in the enigmatic allure of drinks and colorful powders that shimmer with enchantments. Some are engrossed in the pretty fae females and males on their laps. Others, like him, are captured by the hauntingly beautiful song.
“You got that medicine I need. Fame, liquor, love, give it to me slowly.”
Where ancient stone meets polished wood, Lucien finds himself at the bar and orders a drink. He turns to face the stage in the center of the club, leaning against the bar. His mechanical eye emits a soft whir as his gaze travels to the owner of the voice.
“Put your hands on my waist, do it softly.”
A silent awe washes over him as he takes in the sheer beauty before him. Dressed in a white gown that drapes over you like moonlit silk, you stand on the stage like an angel amidst the monsters that lurk in every corner of the place. The fabric mirrors your every movement as you sway to the rhythm of the song in small billowing waves.
“Me and the Mother, we don’t get along. So now I sing.”
It’s as if you sense his gaze on you because your siren eyes are searching the crowd. Mirroring the depths of a fathomless ocean, your eyes are pools of sadness and longing, yet there's a vulnerability that softens in them as they lock with his. Your voice slightly falters and for a heartbeat, time seems to stretch.
A tremor courses through you, fingers tightening their grip onto the microphone. Your eyes darken again and then you’re tearing your gaze away from Lucien. He follows it, curious eyes landing on a male who stands on the balcony facing the stage. Even from where Lucien stands, he can tell the male radiates power and money.
“No one’s gonna take my soul away.”
“They call her the Nightingale.” The bartender says to Lucien as he hands him his drink. Lucien’s gaze returns to you. “She’s off limits. I suggest finding another female to warm you for the night. There’s plenty to choose from here.”
Lucien says nothing in return. Those hadn’t been his intentions upon seeing you. He simply found himself struck by your presence. And as the enchanting notes of your song continue to soar, there’s a rising desire to learn more about you. The thought of extending his stay begins to take root, a subtle whisper tempting him to linger a while longer. He’ll write to Tamlin to reassure him and continue to negotiate with Rhysand further.
**
The gamble Lucien took to stay in Hewn city is a winning one with each passing night yielding more promising signs of Rhysand's willingness to compromise. It brings him relief as it gives him an excuse to visit the nightclub again. He returns the next night and then the following, noticing something new about you every time.
On the second night, he realizes the male you had glared at the first night he saw you was the owner of the nightclub. Lucien learns that he was right in his first impression of him. Benedict is a wealthy man, both in money and in connections, and is not subtle about the power he holds over this part of the city. Everyone in the nightclub bows down to him but not you. There’s a look of defiance in your eyes every time you look Benedict’s way.
On the third night, your usually hauntingly melancholic voice takes on a different, lighter tone. It’s still just as beautiful but now, harbors a sense of hope. And your eyes find Lucien’s with ease. You don’t break eye contact with him throughout the entirety of your performance that night, as though your song is a serenade meant solely for him.
It’s on the fourth night that he finally gets to talk to you.
Breaking from your routine of disappearing behind the stage curtains after performances, tonight, you grace the bar with your presence, drawing stares from some of the high fae. His grip tightens on his glass when he recognizes a dark hunger in most of them but even so, none dare to approach you.
“What will it be, lovely?” Lucien hears the bartender address you.
Taking the empty spot beside Lucien, your presence and proximity captivate him. His heartbeat falters momentarily as you graciously flip your hair, surrounding him with the divine scent of the sweetest rose.
“Just a water,” you reply and he hears the rustle of your dress as you turn to face him. “You’re not from here.”
Lucien’s lips twitch upwards. “What gave it away?”
“You’re not a monster.”
He finally turns to look at you, a strange warmth spreading through him. Ever since he lost his eye, he had battled with the scars tainting his skin, internalizing a sense of monstrousity. Yet, as you regard him, it feels as though you see an angel where he sees only imperfections.
His eye drinks you in, the mechanical one on the left whirring along. The corner of his lips lift up into a smirk when he catches you doing the same.
“How do you know I’m not a monster?”
“There’s something different about you. Something good,” your eyes study him carefully and then, with a soft sigh, you add, “It’d do you well not to dwell in places like this. They’ll only dim your light.”
Curiosity getting the better of him, Lucien asks, "And what about you?"
Your eyes widen, as though the question catches you off guard. "What about me?"
Despite the myriad thoughts swirling within him, he restrains himself and settles for, "You, too, don't seem to fit into this place.”
You fall into a thoughtful silence and your brow slightly furrows. Lucien keenly observes the subtle shift in your gaze as you scan the room before settling back on him. Leaning in as though sharing a secret, he instinctively leans closer. However, as he anticipates your words, you’re turning your back to him. Just as he's poised to speak, you sweep your hair aside, rendering him speechless as you show him instead.
A delicate tattoo is etched onto the skin between your shoulders—a bird confined within a cage.
“I can’t leave,” he hears your murmur and the ink on your skin appears to shimmer like stars in confirmation. A bargain permanently marked upon flesh. Your flesh and he swallows thickly at what your words imply.
You’re that bird, the nightingale, trapped in the cage.
“I have to go,” you say suddenly and your hair falls back into place, cascading down your back and concealing the telling tattoo. “Will you come by tomorrow?”
“I thought you said I shouldn’t dwell in places like this.”
“You shouldn’t,” you reply with a wistful smile and Lucien hates the way you drop your gaze.
“But I think I will.”
His words prompt your head to lift, eyes meeting his in surprise. A rush of excitement flushes your skin, transforming the wistful smile into one that is lighter, more promising. A fluttering sensation stirs in Lucien's stomach, and he can't help but return your smile.
A couple more days in Hewn City wouldn’t hurt.
**
Ten days ago, you were stuck in an endless loop of exhaustion and despair, where every night weighed heavily upon you. However, a welcome shift has occurred since then. Sleeping, eating and singing still consume most of your days but a newfound presence has entered the scene. Lucien.
And as the curtains are drawn back, revealing your presence to the awaiting audience, you embrace yourself for the blinding super trouper beams. Unlike nights past where a tinge of melancholy enveloped you, tonight is different.
You won’t feel blue, like you always do, because somewhere in the crowd there’s him.
Lucien’s presence is like a burst of brilliance, akin to the beaming lights that find you on the stage every night. When your eyes find his amongst the crowd, your pulse quickens and heat rushes to your cheeks. It’s like the sight of him proves to you that you're still alive.
In his wake, the shadows that linger in the club cower and hide away. He shines like the sun and you find his brightness infectious. It chases away the gloom that had settled over your own light, reigniting the flames of enthusiasm that had long dimmed within you.
Each note you sang resonated with newfound energy, and every performance became an opportunity to embrace the warmth and vitality he brought into your world. As the final notes of your song hang in the air, you can’t help but feel a sense of destiny. You were meant to meet Lucien.
After your performance, you sneak your way back to the bar where he waits for you.
“You came again,” you smile at him.
Lucien smiles back at you but it falters. “I’m afraid it’ll be the last time…for a while.”
The smile doesn’t waver off your face yet the glistening in your eyes reveals the threat of an emotional storm beginning to unfold. You refuse to dwell in it, not wanting to let the darkness that lingers over you like a gloomy cloud to consume you again.
“Okay,” you manage to breathe. You knew this day was coming. Lucien had to return back home, and you, regrettably, can’t go with him. “Let’s make the most of tonight, then. Dance with me?”
“Are you sure?” Lucien asks and you follow his gaze to where Benedict stands, a top of the balcony as always. You feel a rush of relief when you see a pretty female wrapped around him. A distraction. Perfect.
Lucien watches you, taking in every shift in your expression as he awaits for your answer. It’s not that he doesn’t want to dance with you. Gods, does he want to dance with you. Anything to be able to hold you close. To take you into his arms and hold you tight.
Unfortunately, he’s well aware of the tight leash Benedict keeps you on. He doesn’t let you stray far from his sight. You’re not allowed anywhere near the private nooks lining the club or the rooms at the back where private exchanges occur. It’s for your own safety and Lucien can’t be mad at that. What unsettles him is the way Benedict regards you as his most prized object and Lucien doesn’t want you to face consequences over a dance.
“Yes,” you finally answer.
There’s a strong certainty in your voice but also a subtle plea that tugs at his heartstrings. It brings forth a tightening in his chest. He suppresses the urge to frown. He plans to return to you but for now, it’s your last night together before he has to leave the Night Court.
Lucien graces you with a smile instead. He offers his hand to you, his eyes lighting up with a warmth that mirrors the blood coursing through his veins. A delightful shiver travels up his spine as your hand wraps around his. Until now, you’d only share glances, lingering stares and the occasional brushing of skin.
As the piano begins its enchanting melody, Lucien takes the lead, guiding you onto the dance floor. You’re so close you can feel the warmth of his body and all you want to do is melt into it. Melt into him. But you can’t.
So you bask in the warmth of his gaze instead. Up close, you can now appreciate the depth of his russet eye and you can’t help but marvel at the intricacies of the golden mechanical eye on the left. His gaze never strays from yours throughout the dance and the tender connection between you begins to rise under the brilliance of his gaze, pulling your heart with it.
As he holds you tight, you surrender to the intimate embrace, shedding all inhibitions. Neither of you speak, your eyes speaking for you. It feels as though the world has faded away, leaving just the two of you swaying in harmony. Smiling, having fun, where each step becomes a silent declaration of the unspoken feelings that have blossomed between you.
The passage of time remains elusive as you share the dance, the minutes slipping away unnoticed until the pianist gracefully bows to the audience. Your dance comes to a dreadful stop. Lucien's grasp on you tightens, a reluctant acknowledgment of the inevitable separation.
“I’ll come back for you,” he whispers, his promise carrying a tenderness that ignites a fervent flame within you. “I’ll find a way to help set you free, my sweet nightingale.”
He then pulls a pristine white rose, the same exact shade of white as the dress you wore when he first saw you, from the folds of his coat. He graces you with one last smile as he leans in, placing the rose carefully behind your ear. “Until then,” he murmurs, his lips brushing against your temple and your eyes flutter shut.
“Until then,” you breathe and as Lucien walks away and the shadows inevitably return, you take delight in the way the darkness hesitates to claim you, leaving you untouched.
You can’t even bring yourself to care when Benedict corners you backstage, seething with anger. Of course, he noticed. You don’t even flinch when he throws his glass of whiskey toward the wall behind you, the shattered glass ricocheting. Some of them make their way to you, slicing your skin.
As you settle into the comfort of your small room, you retrieve the white rose from its perch behind your ear, cradling it delicately in your hand. A single drop of blood from one of your healing cuts taints the rose, painting one of the white petals red. Still, you cling onto the slender stem, gripping it as tightly as you grasp onto that fervent flame of hope burning within you. Your light will never dim again…
Because somewhere in Prythian, there’s him.

stupid in love — lucien x reader
Tumblr media
modern au! fluff, alcohol consumption, lucien is a drunk idiot, mentions of marriage and eloping
based on this song <3 @saltnseas LETS GET MARRIED IN VEGASSS
Tumblr media
when you and lucien first started dating two years ago, you never thought you’d end up together on a beach, drunker than you’d ever been alone in the middle of the night. you never thought your casual relationship would have even gone this far.
it’s the day of your anniversary and lucien had insisted on taking you to a nice date at the beach. he’d prepared everything — he brought a picnic blanket, your favorite snacks, and most importantly, a bottle of wine. it was enough for the two of you to have finished it by the time the sun had set into the sky.
what had turned into a romantic day became the two of you completely wasted together as the sky turned dark, nothing but the sound of your giggling and the waves crashing.
lucien pulls you closer, you can tell he’s not thinking clearly. he’s usually calm and put together, but right now your boyfriend is a bubbling mess in front of you. he’s hugging you, laughing and getting flustered at the sight of you as if you hadn’t known you for years, forgetting that you were his partner.
he buries his head into your neck, heat rushing to his cheeks, the hangover after this is going to be horrible.
“y/n…” he’s been repeating for the past thirty minutes, like he’s whispering your name. “do you know that i love you?” he peers up and gives you the biggest grin.
“i think you’ve mentioned it,” you say. you’ve always had a higher tolerance than him, finding the way he’s acting right now to be enduring. he’s definitely going to say it was embarrassing when he’s sober again and you’ll have something to tease him about.
his hands grab your waist and he pulls you in for a kiss unexpectedly, taking your lips as you taste the wine on his. “i need you,” he mutters when you pull away before he kisses you again. and again.
“let’s go home,” you take his hands off you, knowing neither of you are in the right mind to drive tonight. “let me call someone—“
“y/n, let’s get married.” it’s like he’s not even listening to you.
you try not to burst out laughing. lucien can barely stand on his own and think properly, proposing something that sounds out of this world. he’s just rambling, right?
“i love you,” he says again, holding onto your arm for support. “let’s… get married!!” he slurs the words together.
“lucien,” you lead him to go sit down with you. “i’m sure that’s great, but what about your family?”
“i don’t care,” his nose scrunches. he continues giddily. “let’s just run away, y/n. i’ve loved you since we met, since i confessed and asked you out, it’s been two years—”
“lucien,” you repeat, then your tone changes. “you’re drunk.” your expression had dropped. of course you loved him and wanted to be with him, but right now he was saying things you only wanted to talk about in a genuine conversation about your relationship.
“i’m serious,” lucien responds. it’s like he’s snapped out of it, suddenly straightening up and changing his eloquence too. it’s like he’s thinking clearly again. “i want to marry you, y/n. i want you forever.”
they say drunken words are sober thoughts.

How Lucien acts around his mate
a/n: It’s been a while since I wrote anything so I’m posting this one before I give up. I will try to post more next week so feel free to send requests!
warnings: fluff; kinda suggestive; not proofread; english is not my first language so let me know if you find any mistakes
At the moment he finds out
Lucien felt the bond the first time he saw his mate. He was truly surprised, even shocked to be honest. Lucien didn’t expected to have a mate after what happened to Jesminda, he was actually afraid of having one and end up putting your life at risk by being connected to him. Lucien would be ecstatic and happy, but at the same time couldn’t help but fear.
How he acts?
He would be completely open about it and would probably just split it out as soon he has the opportunity. Lucien just wants to be with his mate and knows how important is to keep a clear and sincere dialogue. He really values honesty, especially when it comes about the bond.
Lucien is not the only one affected by it and even if you didn’t feel it yet, he doesn’t want to left you in the dark.
Will he tell anyone?
As I said before, Lucien doesn’t keep the bond as a secret. He won’t scream it to the whole world (since it’s not something that belongs only to him but also to his mate) but I think he would share it with his close friends (Jurian, Vassa and maybe Feyre) and also with Eris.
In short, he won’t try to hide it but in respect to his mate, he will kept it low until you’re comfortable enough to tell other people.
When his mate feels the bond
Lucien will definitely be insecure, he was opened about the subject since the beginning but once you feel the bond too he’s too scared you will reject him. I think he always would be around you, but if you rather not having his company he will give you all the space needed.
When his mate accepts the bond
Lucien got used to the feeling of rejection and somehow already waiting for it. Once his mate accepted the bond, agreeing to spend the rest of your life with him, Lucien was truly surprised and extremely happy, a type of happiness he thought he would never be able to feel.
That was the first time the light inherited from Helion reveled itself. He felt a joy that made the power overflow through his veins.
He won’t leave your side (and your bed).
Things he loves to do with his mate
Definitely traveling. Once the matebond was officialized Lucien just wanted to enjoy every second with you and above all, the freedom you both had. He didn’t want to be rooted in a court for a while and neither did you. So you both dedicate your free time on travels to other cuts and to the human lands, even those beyond the continent.
Lucien doesn’t actually enjoy having to wear a disguise to deceive humans, but there was nothing better in the world than knowing every piece of the world next to his favorite person.
Does he often gets jealous?
Is something rare to happen, but sometimes the matebond makes him a little possessive. When someone shamelessly hits on you, Lucien sassy personality would definitely show up (all I have to say is: poor guy who thought it would be a good idea to flirt with Lucien Vanserra’s mate.
Favorite body part
Your neck. Lucien loves to kiss your neck and to buy you jewels that enhance your skin. He also loves the way you react when he give small kisses or when he decided to use his hands as your necklace.
PDA
HE LOVES IT. Lucien loves to be feeling your skin against him so he doesn’t care if you are in public or not, he just wants to feel your skin against his.
How often he says “I love you?”
At the beginning it was harder for him to say the 3 little words, Lucien thought somehow he would scare you away once he said it, so he rather demonstrate with attitudes.
You were the first to say you loved him and once you did, Lucien realized how stupid he was being and started to say how much he loves you every day.
Protectiveness
Lucien been through a lot and because of that, he’s always scared something bad will happen to you. I don’t think he would be the overprotective type but would insist that you learn to defend yourself, supporting you to start training with the Valkyries (and also become one of them).
Random bonus
When it comes to you Lucien is always open to any kind of conversation, no matter how difficult it is. He told you everything that happened in his past without censorship (you were the first person he felt completely safe for that).
He loves to hear you talk and always encourages you to always tell him when someone bothers you, setting your boundaries. Lucien becomes your best friend, not only your mate.
He’s also very open to try anything new on bed. So if you’re curious about something, Lucien is definitely down for it.

What I Think Pt. 2
lucien vanserra x reader
Part One
Lucien's response to your claims.
A/N: thank you all for the love and support with part one, it made me really excited to do part two! I hope you enjoy
Word Count: 645
Warnings: angst.
o-o-o
He didn’t say anything for a moment. He didn’t so much as move as you both stood there, eyes locked on the other’s.
You thought you had won. That he knew you were right, that he couldn’t think of anything else to say.
But then he leaned against the wall behind him. He smirked.
And you seethed.
“So it’s me who has all the problems then, huh?” He began. “Oh, Cauldron forbid I want to be helpful to those around me.”
“You’re not helpful,” you spat. “You’re a needy man in disguise, parading his way through the courts. There’s a difference.”
“You’re not sacrificing,” he countered. “You’re just a martyr. And a piss-poor one at that.”
You scoffed. “Excuse me?”
“Need me to repeat myself?”
You rolled your eyes. “Obviously not. But I’m not a martyr.”
“Really?” He took a step toward you, that devilish smile still on his face. If it were appropriate, you would punch it.
Mother above, were you really betrothed to this man?
You weren’t a martyr. You weren’t looking for attention, for some sort of award for what you did. You did it because the court needed someone, they needed you–
Oh Gods.
“You want everyone to pity you,” he began. “That’s why you said yes to this arrangement, wasn’t it? Poor y/n, the girl stuck with the High Lord’s bastard son—“
“Stop it.” A fire began to form in your stomach, in your throat–
“Not only that, but he was already mated. Too bad she’ll never know true love–”
“I said stop it–”
“Poor y/n, and all the things she’s done and sacrificed for this court–”
“SHUT UP!”
You screamed the words, and Lucien was close enough that your noses were almost touching, that you were sure he could feel each of the heaving breaths you took.
You couldn’t say anything, couldn’t think–
You needed to leave. You couldn’t do this, maybe Lucien was right, you couldn’t do this, you couldn’t do this–
You didn’t realize your back was against the door until you felt yourself reaching for the door handle. And once you had a hold of that, you left.
You weren’t running, but you weren’t walking, either, you were just…. leaving. You had to get away. Get away from the situation, get away from the conversation, get away from him–
Because he was right. At least, you thought he was right, and you didn’t want to think about what it meant if he was right.
“Y/n.” He called your name from down the hall. His footsteps grew louder the closer he became. It didn’t stop you.
“Y/n, wait–”
He reached you, grabbing your arm as he did.
“Don’t touch me!” You cried, your voice more broken than you thought it was, than you wanted it to be, than you wanted him to hear it as.
He let go, almost immediately. You stayed still, unmoving. So did he.
You cursed that there was no clock in the hall, nothing to fill the silence between the two of you.
Finally, Lucien let out a sigh.
“Look, I—“
“Don’t try and tell me that you didn’t mean what you said,” you told him. “Because then you’ll be expecting the same from me, and I can’t offer you the same solace.”
More silence. Aching, noisy silence. You hated it. You wanted nothing to do with it.
Maybe you wanted nothing to do with any of this.
Without looking down, you slid the betrothal ring– your one gift from Lucien– off your finger. It was a beauty, truly, the woven thing of gold and diamond.
You held the item out to him, grasped between two fingers.
You didn’t have the energy to try and decipher his change in expression.
“Do you want this?” You asked, voice tight and shaking. “Not symbolically. Genuinely, Lucien. Do you want this back?”

pairing; lucien vanserra x fem!fae!reader
warnings; smut, 18+ only, p in v, dom!lucien, dirty talk🤤, lucien is a cocky bastard and we love him for it <3 in conclusion, i love him<3
lucien vanserra and his dirty fucking mouth.
he has you propped up against his chest, face smushed against the smooth dip of his neck and muscles turning to nothing more than putty beneath his knowledgable hands, hands that roam every inch of your skin, that palm at your bottom to spread your aching cunt further for him to sink into. you might as well be split in two for the way he's making you feel, speared open on the thick length of him, bare breasts pressed to the planes of hard muscle that make up his torso.
"feeling good, sweetheart?" the cocky bastard snarks, rolling a pert nipple between a thumb and forefinger when his hips cant up to sheath the last inch of himself in your soft walls. you nod vehemently, a shudder ripping through you, his teeth sinking into the juncture of your neck like a feral predator.
your body arches - toward or away from his touch, you're not sure - a high pitched keen clawing its way from your throat as calloused, ring-clad fingers splay over the base of your spine to draw your bareness to his own.
"luc-" you moan, reaching for breath when he digs a thumb to the hollow of your throat and presses down. a shiver of appreciation careens down the bond, spreading and seeping into your veins right up to the tips of your pointed ears. you feel yourself flush white-hot when his arm hooks around your neck to cage you against him. "more, please," you croak.
"is my little devil begging?" he teases but complies nonetheless, pistoning his hips once, twice, thrice until you're grappling for purchase against the smooth, hard ridges of his stomach, rocking yourself back against his cock when he pulls away even an inch.
you don't have it in yourself to protest as you usually would, a string of "yes, yes, oh yes," falling from your spit slick lips. his thumb presses against the swollen flesh of your bottom lip, a lazy smirk tilting his mouth up at the corners as you part your lips and allow him to slip the digit in further to press against your tongue.
"so easy to break," he muses, fingers clamping against the curve of your jaw when you suckle on his thumb; the sensation goes straight to his cock, doubling down when you gaze up at him through sticky, wet lashes, lids drooping in an effort to keep your eyes trained on him. the wet schlick as he ruts into your dripping heat has you going soft and limp, giving yourself to him as he tugs on the bond affectionately- a stark juxtaposition to the cruel hand twisting into your hair, baring your bruised throat to him. “beautiful. so beautiful taking my cock, sweetheart.”

Hi! I LOVED short mate x Helion headcanon. Could you do short mate headcanon with Lucien? Thank you!
Lucien x short!reader Headcanons
A/n: I need to write more Lucien so plz send in your hc and requests for him
Warnings:
We all know Lucien is tall and muscular
He’s honestly one of the hottest acotar men (and one of the most romantic)
He jokes around a lot about your height difference
Lucien rests his arm on your head during conversations and you look up at him and roll your eyes
He’d definitely use comparing your hand sizes as an excuse to hold your hand
“Baby let me see your hand.” You hold your hand up and he places his palm on yours
He smirks at you, “You’re hands are so small baby, so cute.” Then he intertwines his finger with yours kissing the back of your hand
You love when he gives you piggy back rides
Your favorite way to get on his back is run and jump when he least expects it
Lucien is very protective of you
He’s scared that bc of how small you are you could easily be taken
He thought you were taken once when he couldn’t find you in town in Velaris
The city was extra busy that day and one second you were next to him and the next her turns around and you’re gone
You were too short to spot among the other Fae
Lucien’s heart was palpitating and could hear his blood rushing in his ear
As he ripped through the crowd he spotted you at a flower stand
He stood in the middle of the street holding his breath
He raced up to you and pulled you into his side kissing all over your face
You laughed as the female handed you the flowers you bought
“Baby, Mother above you scared me. I thought I lost you.”
From the day on, whenever you went out Lucien always held on to you a little tighter than usual
It’s so easy for Lucien to lift you up
If you were reaching for something he would just pick you up so you could get it
He loves picking you up and throwing you over his shoulder
You loved when he held you
Sometimes you’d just cling to him when he was just doing things around the house
When you slept you were always the little spoon
Occasionally you’re the big spoon on the nights when Lucien needs to be held
Your outside leg wraps around his hips and bury your head in his long red hair, leaving little kisses on the back of his head, rubbing your hand on his chest
He’d hold your thigh rubbing lil circles on you and you’d fall asleep tangled up with each other

i just need a quick fix, i ain't gonna miss this we've already crossed that line before, i won't get addicted tell me lies girl say it softly, you'll be sayin take it off me
author's note: you guys know how much i adore lucien. i'm absolutely unwell just thinking about our overprotective, feisty fox boy. there's also a surprise guest appearance that i think ya'll will appreciate 😏 song inspiration: lacrimosa by matt kent.
The rhythmic pounding of hollow drums echoed throughout the spring manor, its seductive beat beckoning you to come outside and join in on the festivities. Your gaze flickered to the shimmering lock placed on your bedroom door as Tamlin’s warning echoed in the dark and empty bedchamber.
Stay in your room.
You huffed, crossing your arms. Who the hell was he to tell you what to do? Tamlin may be the High Lord of the Spring Court, but it didn’t grant him the right to forbid you from attending Calanmai. Especially not after you spent the whole day being paraded around the countless lords seeking your hand in marriage only to then be tucked away when your presence was no longer convenient.
No, that simply wouldn’t do.
With a wicked grin, you pulled a rhinestone pin out of your hair and knelt in front of the door. You whispered an incantation and the pin glowed brightly as you rattled it against the lock. With a flick of your wrist, the door propped open. You peered out into the hallway and confirmed that the coast was clear before carefully creeping through the quiet house.
The spring manor was empty for the night. There wasn’t a single servant present to stop you from making your way downstairs. They were all probably at Calanmai already, dancing and drinking and doing all the things that Tamlin had barred you from doing. He already had the Great Rite to worry about, your brother had said. The High Lord didn’t need his troublesome little sister getting in the way of his duties.
You would make him regret it.
The thought put a spring in your step as you strolled through the gardens, taking in the balmy evening and the cool spring breeze. First thing was first, you needed to conceal your identity if you hoped to avoid being spotted by your brother or any of his cronies. With a wisp of magic, conjured an intricate golden mask, its ornate swirls and whorls fanning out into deep yellows and oranges as white spots dotted the edges of the black borders and veins. The accessory matched your copper dress perfectly. As you placed the mask over your eyes, the wings flickered and mimicked the graceful movements of a monarch butterfly.
Donning a satisfied smile, you crossed the clearing that would lead you to the festivities. Your skirts whispered against the earth as you winnowed atop the hill at the edge of the manor. Down below, you watched as High Fae and faeries alike danced around the fires lighting up the lush landscape.
The savage beat of the drums summoned you across the grassy knoll and you gladly surrendered to its call. Smoke curled through the air and enveloped you in its intoxicating haze as you reached the heart of the crowd. Someone grabbed you by the waist, dragging you into the throng of dancing bodies circling the large bonfire burning at the center of the field.
There was something magnetic about the movements, a ritual awakening deep within your bones as magic unfurled its golden glow through your entire being. You tipped your head back and laughed, twirling in dizzying circles as you changed partners again and again. One of them—a handsome dryad—handed you a goblet filled with a golden, sparkling liquid.
The drink was unlike anything you’ve ever tasted before. You could feel the edges of your vision blurring, every thought and worry ebbing and flowing through your mind, and your surroundings turned fuzzy as though someone had placed a lace veil over your eyes. The carefree feeling it brought was delicious and addicting so you drained the drink down to its last drop, greedily licking the sparkling remnants off your lips.
The dryad you were currently dancing with twirled you across the field and you clumsily stumbled across the soft grass before a pair of strong arms steadied you.
You looked up to thank the stranger, but the words died in your throat as soon as you beheld the male standing before you. He was the embodiment of sensuality and seduction with raven hair as dark as night and golden brown skin gleaming against the backdrop of the burning bonfire, the flames mimicking the intricate tattoos peeking out above his perfectly fitted tunic. Fine clothing adorned his body, its deep ebony color matching the shimmer of darkness that seemed to waft through his shoulders like the night sky.
But it was his eyes—those deep violet eyes that shimmered with amusement that seemed to set off your internal alarm. Danger lurked behind that amethyst gaze.
“Be careful, little butterfly.” A voice as smooth as velvet drawled. “We wouldn’t want you flying away now, do we?”
With feline grace, the male placed one hand on the small of your back and the other on your shoulder as he swept you across the crowd. This dance wasn’t like the wild, jovial traditional dance of the Spring Court. It was smooth and steady, every twist and turn performed with calculated precision. A lethal waltz with an equally lethal partner.
The stranger spun you around and the silks of your skirts hugged his dark trousers as he reeled you back into his arms.
“I don’t believe we’ve had the pleasure of being introduced,” the handsome male purred. “Where has the High Lord been hiding a treasure like yourself, my lady?”
You swallowed thickly. The music and laughter echoed all around you, but they sounded slow and distorted as though your mind had been dipped in a jar of honey. Faces blurred in your periphery and dragged across the forefront of your consciousness like molasses, there and gone with the blink of an eye. It took a considerable amount of effort to bring your focus back to the stranger.
“I’m new to the Spring Court.”
It wasn’t technically a lie, given that you’d only just made your formal debut a week ago. The stranger raised a brow, but if he had any qualms regarding your statement, he didn’t voice them.
“Allow me to extend the warmest of welcomes, then.” He took a gloved hand and pressed his lips against your knuckles, mischief sparkling in those star kissed eyes. “My name is Rhysand.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Rhysand,” you said with a shy smile. “I’m—”
“Spoken for,” said a voice from behind you.
A figure emerged from the trees, tall and lean and all too familiar. A flash of scarlet glimmered in the night as Lucien came into view.
Of all people, it had to be your brother’s best friend catching you sneaking out of the manor and dancing with the most beautiful male you’ve ever laid eyes on. Still, there was the matter of the stupid little prattling of your heart as you turned to face the handsome red headed male.
Despite the increasing effects of that damned faerie wine, the sight of Lucien never failed to take your breath away.
As befitting an emissary, he was dressed in fine clothing of a deep, rich green that accentuated the crimson locks flowing behind his back. Intricate braids crowned his head as soft tendrils kissed the planes of his elegant face. His sparkling amber and golden mechanical eye affixed on you. A heated spark flashed through his gaze, but it was gone before you could decipher its meaning.
You’ve fancied Lucien for as long as you could remember. At first, it had been a harmless little thing. You were so young when you first met and he’d always had that older, mysterious allure made even more enticing by the fact that Lucien was forbidden fruit. He was Tamlin’s best friend and constant companion and you were the younger sister with an innocent crush.
But now that you were both fully grown, the tension between you and Lucien was anything but.
“Calanmai is for invited guests only,” Lucien said sharply, his shoulders tensing. "And the last time I checked, you weren't on the list."
A lazy smile tugged on Rhysand’s lips. “Now, now, Lucien. Is that any way for an emissary to address a High Lord?” That violet gaze winked down at you. “Especially not in the presence of a beautiful maiden.”
Lucien gritted his teeth. “The lady is spoken for.”
Now that was interesting. Lucien could’ve easily identified you as Tamlin’s sister, but he chose not to. Perhaps he didn’t want word of your escape to reach your brother.
“Stunning creatures, butterflies.” Rhysand said with a knowing smile, reaching out to caress your mask. Lucien bristled, but the High Lord of the Night Court only smirked seductively. “Though I’ve found that they tend to get restless if not properly stimulated.”
Lucien angled himself between you and the handsome stranger. “My lady has had enough excitement for one night.”
You frowned, glaring at your friend’s back. You wanted to dance and laugh and drink until dawn. You wanted to feel the wind in your hair and the music in your chest, the warmth of the alcohol spreading through your body and making you relaxed and pliant, but as Lucien pinned his gaze on you, the fear and concern swimming in his eyes kept you from speaking.
“It’s time to escort you back to the manor,” Lucien announced with finality. He spoke into the smoky night, not once looking at you. An argument sat on the tip of your tongue, but you thought better of it as your friend's fists clenched at his side.
Violet eyes met your own as Rhysand dipped into a bow. He kissed your hand once more, making you blush fiercely. “Until we meet again, little butterfly.”
You watched as the male sauntered away, but not before winking back at you with a sultry grin.
Without a word, Lucien grabbed your wrist and winnowed into thin air. The sudden transition was jarring and you barely had time to gather your wits before you were being ushered through the doors of the manor. The black and white chequered marble floors blurred beneath your feet as you and Lucien passed through like a furious wind, his deep auburn hair nearly whipping against your cheek as he stomped up the sweeping staircase.
He didn’t look back once. Didn’t speak as he threw the door open and watched you walk through the threshold. Alone in your bedchambers, Lucien whirled around with barely contained rage coloring his handsome face.
“Are you fucking insane?” The Autumn Court male finally spoke as you plopped down on the bed, the aftereffects of all the dancing and drinking weighing heavy on your body. “Do you know how utterly idiotic it was to venture out alone? On Calanmai, of all nights! You’re lucky that it was me who found you and not Tamlin.”
“And dancing with Rhysand—Rhysand of all fucking people!”
“At least he bothered to talk to me!” you yelled, voice hoarse and strained. “All you and Tamlin ever do is lock me in here like I’m some child that needs to be constantly coddled.”
“Could you blame us?” he said harshly. “One night on your own and you managed to attract the attention of the most dangerous male in all of Prythian. Rhysand may have flashed you pretty smiles and flowery words, but it doesn’t change the beast that lurks within. He is the High Lord of the Night Court. He could have ripped your mind apart without lifting a single finger.”
You blanched at the realization. “I—I didn’t know.”
“That’s precisely the point,” your friend snapped. “You jump into things headfirst without any regard for your safety.” Lucien released a shaky breath, his hand trembling as he raked his fingers through his hair. “If anything happened to you…”
The worry dancing in his eyes momentarily sobered you. Enough for you to take his hand and squeeze in reassurance. “I’m fine, Lucien. Rhysand didn’t do anything to me. We just danced, that’s all.”
His grip tightened around your wrist. “He made you smile. Made you laugh. And he called you little butterfly,” Lucien said the last word softly, but it laid heavy between you.
“It was because of the mask—”
A burning fire raged within Lucien. “I don’t give a damn why. He doesn’t have the right.” He titled your chin up, forcing you to look at him. “Only I get to call you that, mariposa.”
You whimpered at the gruffness of his voice. Mariposa was Lucien's nickname for you and he usually said it with soft fondness, but the there was nothing gentle about the way he was wielding it now.
There was a part of you that knew Lucien was angry. His words echoed, but they didn’t fully register and were instead swallowed up by the haze clouding your mind. The only thing you could focus on was how badly the room was spinning and how your internal temperature seemed to spike higher and higher as Lucien pulled back to pace in front of the crackling hearth.
Heat blossomed in your core and snaked its fiery tendrils throughout your body, making you feel flushed and overheated. Your skin felt too hot and your dress too suffocating as you crumpled into a nearby chair. You hadn’t even noticed that your hands were shaking until you haphazardly wiped the sweat off of your brow.
“Y/N?” Lucien’s voice sounded hollow and distant even though he was kneeling right beside you. You blinked, murmuring softly as he took your face in his hands. Gone was the wrath and fury from earlier, replaced now by worry and concern. “You’re burning up.”
His mechanical eye focused on the golden flecks covering your mouth. Lucien cursed lowly as he wiped his thumb across your bottom lip. The action made you shiver and you involuntarily leaned into his touch, his warmth, his scent. It felt good, so good, to have him touching you.
“Did the High Lord give you anything to drink?” Lucien tilted your chin and you groaned, lashes fluttering against your cheek as his rough, calloused hands brushed against your skin. “Think, Y/N. I need you to answer me, sweetheart.”
You blinked, recalling the goblet of wine. “No, no, it wasn’t Rhys. It was another male. A dryad. Your fingers brushed against the flecks on your mouth and you furrowed your brows in confusion at Lucien’s deep frown. “He gave me some wine. It was gold and sweet.”
“That bloody bastard.” Your friend’s tone was sharp and biting, anger rippling through him in waves.
“Why?” you asked as spots blurred your vision. “I feel fuzzy and warm and it’s so godsdamned stuffy in this room. What’s happening to me, Lucien?”
“You drank Amortis,” Lucien explained.
The mention of the potion sent a course of panic through you, but it was swallowed up again by the flame of desire burning hotter and hotter underneath your friend’s intense gaze. Somewhere in the abscesses of your brain, you knew that this was bad.
Amortis was an aphrodisiac used as an aid during the mating rituals of Calanmai. You vaguely recalled learning about it during your lessons about the Great Rite, but you’d been too drunk on faerie wine and music for the significance of the drink to register.
“The dryad must have slipped it into your wine when you weren’t looking.” His expression darkened, a snarl rippling through his chest. “I’m going to rip him apart bit by bit. Tamlin can have what’s left.”
His eyes widened. “Oh gods, I have to tell Tam.”
You shook your head and tugged at his wrist. “No,” you pleaded. If Tamlin heard about any of this, he’d never let you out of his sight again. “Please don’t tell my brother, Lu.”
Lucien softened at your given nickname for him. Try as he might, the Autumn Court male couldn’t deny that he had a soft spot for you. Having known you your entire life, he was just as protective over you as Tamlin was. Growing up with brothers, he hadn’t been prepared for the antics and schemes that you always seemed to get yourself into. You were trouble personified and you had him completely wrapped around your finger.
Always have, always will.
So he sighed in defeat.
“Fine,” Lucien conceded. “But we have to do something. You’re burning up.”
“A shower,” you suggested. “I need a cold shower.”
Your friend helped you onto your feet and escorted you into the large bathroom attached to your bedchambers. The marble tiled shower hissed and groaned as Lucien eased the handles. Mist fogged up the mirror and you leaned against the countertop, wriggling out of your shoes.
The effects of the potion reached its peak and took full control of your body. Every sensation felt intensified as you doubled over in pain. You nearly ripped the dress off of your body, leaving you in nothing but your lace underclothes as you stepped into the cold shower.
Curled up into a fetal position, you hugged your knees to your chest and allowed the freezing water to cool your body temperature. Lucien knelt down beside you and wrapped an arm against your shoulder, stroking your hair and murmuring words of comfort.
The warmth of the Autumn Court male enveloped you in cinnamon and sunshine. Whether it was the Amortis or your natural attraction to Lucien, you found yourself leaning in closer and nuzzling into his neck. His grip on your shoulder tightened as your lips brushed against his skin.
“Y/N.”
A fiery tendril curled around your finger as you looked up and met Lucien’s gaze. Water fell in rapid droplets, soaking through his white shirt and clinging onto his golden-brown skin. You traced the scar above his brow and his eyes fluttered close in response. Lucien’s ragged breathing filled the room as you traced the elegant planes of his face, your thumb brushing against his lips. They looked so lush and inviting, you wanted nothing more than to lean in and take a bite.
You tilted your chin up, nuzzling your nose against his. An inch closer and his lips would be on yours. Lucien's lashes kissed your cheek as his eyes fluttered open. Meeting his burning gaze was like looking directly at the sun.
“I want to kiss you,” you whispered.
A flash of something dark and dangerous glimmered in Lucien’s hypnotic stare before he clamped down on your wrist. For a second, you could see the conflict raging within him. He wanted this as much as you did. All he needed to do was give in. The shower above you hissed and Lucien blinked, snapping out of whatever moment the two of you had been in the midst of.
He pulled away, clearing his throat. “It’s just the effects of Amortis.”
“Amortis lowers your inhibitions,” you countered. “But it doesn’t alter your desires, which means I’d want to kiss you even if I were sober.”
Lucien gently removed your hand from his face and set it on your lap. “Maybe so,” he mused before reaching up to turn the shower handle. “But I’m not going to kiss you tonight. Not like this.”
You frowned, crossing your arms. “Why? Because I’m Tamlin’s pesky little sister who’s had an embarrassing crush on you for centuries?”
The redhead pinned you against the tiled wall, his stare burning holes into your skin. “Because I care about you. Because the first time I kiss you won’t be because you accidentally consumed an aphrodisiac.” He braced his palms on either side of your head and you swallowed at how much he towered over you, how easily he caged you in. “When I finally kiss you, mariposa, it won’t just be a kiss. It’ll be everything and there’ll be no going back from it. So I need you to be sure.”
A shiver crawled up your spine. “I am sure,” you said softly. “I’ve always been sure about you, Lucien.”
He smiled. A devastating sort of smile that sent sunlight into the cracks of your soul. “Then tell me in the morning, little butterfly.”
Tumblr media
Dawn broke over the horizon as golden rays speared through the bruised sky. Someone had left the curtains in your bedchambers spread apart. Probably you. Or maybe it was Lucien.
Lucien.
Memories from the night before flooded your thoughts. After your embarrassing confession, Lucien had helped you get dressed and carried you to bed. You shot up in the large four poster bed, rustling the pillows and blankets that he’d carefully tucked you into. A glimpse of red snagged your attention and you found your friend sprawled across a velvet lounge chair, his long legs hanging over the edge.
The sound of your shuffling roused the red haired male from sleep. He pitched forward, alarm spreading through his face when he found you staring at him. Lucien crossed the room in two strides and knelt beside your bed. He scanned your features, gently cradling your chin between his fingers.
“I’m fine, Lu.”
Relief washed over your friend. There was something endearing about the way he fretted over you.
“Never scare me like that again,” Lucien said.
You grinned. “I think that’s the last time I ever drink Amortis. Though I can’t promise to stay out of trouble.”
Lucien sighed deeply, running a hand through his fiery locks. “I’m serious, Y/N. In all of my immortal existence, I’ve never felt terror like I did when I saw you dancing with Rhysand.”
“Is the High Lord truly that horrifying?”
“I wasn’t scared of him,” Lucien said. There was no bravado in the statement, just pure honesty as he fixed his gaze on you. “I was scared for him. Of what I wanted to do to him for simply breathing the same air as you.”
You swallowed thickly. “What you said last night…what I said last night. I meant it, Lucien.”
Lucien went still as death, his mechanical eye whirring to life as he scanned over you. Checking for any traces of Amortis. Confirming that you weren’t still under its spell. Your heart pounded in your chest as you caressed his cheek.
“I’m not under any spell,” you whispered softly. “What I feel, it’s real. I wanted to kiss you last night and I still want to kiss you this morning. I’m sure, Lucien.”
His slender fingers curled gently around your wrist, his breathing low and ragged as he brought his gaze up to you. There was something primal and possessive in those eyes.
“I won’t insult you by attempting to describe how I feel about you in words,” he declared, his voice like honeyed wine ebbing through your very core. “I’ll just show you instead.”
Lucien’s slender fingers curled through your unbound hair, tilting your head at just the right angle before he gently pressed his lips against yours. The kiss ignited a fire within your core. It was soft and sweet yet demanding and possessive. You could tell that Lucien was barely restraining himself by the way his breath hitched as your lips met.
You melted into his touch as he brought you closer, setting you on his lap as he leaned against the headboard. Centuries of curiosity was satisfied as you raked your fingers through his hair, the feel of it smooth and silky like you’d always imagined. Shy pecks turned into lingering heated kisses as you explored one another. Lucien groaned when you shifted your hips, greedily leaning down to taste more of him.
He tugged you by the top of your thighs, placing you chest to chest. The sunlight streaming in from the window crowned him in glorious day, his auburn hair shining brightly like a living flame as though Lucien was the embodiment of fire itself. There was a wildness in him that drew you in like a moth to a flame.
Lucien stroked your cheek tenderly as though he were convincing himself that you weren’t just a figment of his imagination. His features softened as you took his hand and kissed his fingertips.
“You’re beautiful,” he breathed. “You put the flowers in this court to shame with the way you bloom.”
Your heart fluttered in your chest, filling you with a wave of emotions. It was a rare occasion for you to be rendered speechless, but Lucien was more than capable of stunning you into complete silence.
You pressed your lips against his in response, the kiss turning urgent as you poured all of the words you weren’t able to articulate into one single action. Lucien groaned as you gently tugged on his bottom lip. He teased his tongue past the seam of your lips and you gladly obliged, welcoming him in.
There was no trace of his restraint from earlier as Lucien flipped you over, pinning you underneath him as he completely devoured you. It was in that moment that you realized that you’ve never been properly kissed. Because this…this paled in comparison to every other kiss you’ve ever had.
It nearly knocked the breath out of you. From the way that Lucien’s chest was rising and falling, you weren’t the only one. As the kiss deepened, the desire to feel him, to truly feel him, became overwhelming. You tugged on the hem of his shirt and Lucien pulled away to allow you to pull it off of him.
He toyed with the straps of the nightgown that he had helped you change into a few hours ago, a question in his expression. You merely nodded and shrugged out of the silky material. Lucien watched as you laid yourself bare before him, his fingers brushing against your delicate skin.
You tugged at the front of his trousers and he gently wrapped his fingers around your wrist. “Are you sure?”
“I told you, Lucien.” You said, meeting his burning gaze. “I’ve always been sure about you. I want this. I want you.”
“I want you, too,” he whispered. “More than anyone has ever wanted anything in this entire realm.”
“So take me.”
Lucien didn’t need to be told twice. He kissed you again but this time it was desperate and full of need. His hands roamed over your body, tracing every line and curve with devotion. Lucien kissed every surface of skin as though he were committing your body to memory. His fingers dipped low as he parted your legs, groaning when he found you wet and ready for him.
You watched as he lined himself up at your entrance. Every move was filled with tenderness. Lucien teased the tip in, his gaze never leaving yours while he eased his cock inside of you. His length stretched you beyond your limit, but it wasn’t entirely unpleasant. Once he filled you to the hilt, he paused.
“Are you alright?”
You nodded, brushing a stray strand of red hair from his cheek. “Never better.”
Your friend smiled before slowly pulling out, monitoring your reactions as he established a steady pace. By no means were you inexperienced, but as Lucien rolled his hips into yours, it felt like you’d been starved of touch your whole life. He seemed to echo the sentiment as awe and bewilderment took over his features.
It had never felt like this with anyone else.
The way he touched you was full of devotion as though your body was a temple and he was making his burnt offerings upon the altar. Lucien lavished you with worship, his large hands easing your leg up so he could angle himself deeper. You moaned as he brushed against a particularly sensitive spot.
“Gods, Lucien.”
His forehead dropped to yours, eyes blazing with fire. You didn’t have to say the words. Lucien knew exactly what you meant. “I know,” he murmured, his lips brushing against yours. “I know, sweetheart.”
You wrapped your legs around his waist as he buried his face into the crook of your shoulder, his breathing ragged. His muscles tensed underneath your fingertips as you raked your nails across his back. Lucien growled into your mouth as you dragged him down beside you, flipping positions so that you were perched on his lap.
His skin glistened in the early morning light, beads of sweat glimmering like crystals along his perfectly sculpted torso. You braced your hands on his chest and rode him slowly, moving your hips back and forth while he watched through heavy lids. A large hand clamped down on your right hip hard enough to bruise, but you kept the steady rhythm as the male underneath you groaned.
From this angle, the friction on your clit combined with Lucien’s upward thrusts unraveled that familiar feeling in your core. Lucien felt you clench around him and he sat upright, sucking harshly at your neck.
“Let go, sweetheart. I’ve got you,” he whispered gently. You closed your eyes, giving into the rush of sensations. “That’s it. I want to watch you come undone.”
The impact made your vision blur with white heat. For a split second, you felt as though you were floating above your body, watching as you writhed in pleasure. Lucien’s voice brought you back and you relished the way your name tumbled so prettily from his mouth, like the prayer of a devoted believer. He roared as he finished, his head lolling against the crook of your neck.
At some point, his braids had come undone and you giggled as crimson locks tickled your cheek. Lucien lifted his head, observing you with a soft smile. Behind him, the sun reached its peak over the horizon and formed a golden crown upon his head.
You propped an elbow up against your pillow, a small smile spreading across your lips as you admired the male beside you.
Lucien grinned back, brushing his nose against your cheek. “What are you thinking about, mariposa?”
“I’m thinking that I should endanger myself more often if this is what it leads to.”
The redhead frowned, flicking your nose. “You do seem to have a special talent for attracting trouble.”
You shrugged lazily. “I attract a lot of things. Including stubborn, possessive redheads.”
Lucien chuckled before pulling you into his chest. His arm snaked around your waist as he nuzzled against the back of your neck.
“Falling for you is by far the most reckless thing I’ve ever done,” he whispered softly. You turned slightly, worry marking your features. Lucien smoothed the creases on your forehead. “But I don’t regret it. Not one bit.”
You sighed in relief, melting back into his arms. Comfortable silence stretched between you as the reality of what you’d just done settled. Lucien was right. There was no going back from this.
The spring manor came to life, voices filtering in and out as everyone started preparing for the day. You turned to fully face him, speaking the words that you were both thinking.
“What are we gonna tell my brother, Lu?”
Lucien brushed a stray strand of hair behind your ear. “We’ll tell him the truth. That this was inevitable. That nothing in this realm could’ve kept me away from you.”
“Are you sure about this?” Your heart pounded in your chest as you met his gaze. “About me?”
“I am sure,” he said with a smile. “I’ve always been sure about you.”
As he echoed your words from last night, you leaned in to kiss him. You were part thrilled, part terrified of whatever came next.
But as long as Lucien was by your side, you were ready to face the dawn of a new day.

Temperature Play
✨️Kink Education with Elizabeth✨️
This kink is a little self-explanatory. Temperature play uses warm or cold objects to add another level of sensory play into intimacy. From ice cubes to wax to a heated massage or a cold glass toy, there's a lot of possibilities for this.
Temperature play is another form of play that can be done with or without a partner and may be something you don't realize you're doing already if you own a heated sex toy. This is a good one to try alone first. That way, you know what your body likes and can let your partner know as well.
Temperature play is a relatively safe form of play and an easy way to add to your sex life. It can help intensify orgasms and stimulate the body more, and honestly, it is just a fun form of play with someone you trust.

“What are you doing?” You stared at Lucien as he leaned against the door. He was studying you like a hawk, bare chest on full display as he ate an apple.
“Deciding what to do with you, my lady.” He didn't move, but the smirk on his face told you he wasn't up to anything good as he continued to look you over. “I've decided.”
You couldn't help but laugh, brows raising as he pushed off the frame. “And?” He shrugged, biting into that apple, and then walked away. “Lucien!”
He yelled over his shoulder, tone echoing amusement. “You'll find out later!”
You should have been more prepared. You were currently tied to a bed, clothing long forgotten, and Lucien was above you. He was laying soft kisses along your throat, your collarbone, teeth nipping along the way.
It all sounded fantastic. Your devastatingly beautiful mate worshiping every square inch of you. And it was, any moment spent with the two of you naked and lost to the world was amazing. You wouldn't have changed a thing.
Except the ice he was currently using on your left nipple. You whimpered as he ran it over to the right side, cold water tracking along your skin as he did. “Lu, too cold.”
He hummed against your skin, mouth moving to your peaked left nipple and taking it in your mouth. Your back arched as you moaned. The contrast had you lost, body confused as to which sensation to focus on. He switched as he lowered his hand and that damned ice again, warming your right nipple back up with a moan of his own. “So beautiful, kitten.”
Your legs jerked as that first touch of cold dripped onto your soaked core. “Lucien-”
“Yes, my lady?”
“Don't you fucking dare.”
He took your lips in his, kissing you so deeply that you almost forgot what you were protesting. “If you don't want me to do something,” he had pulled away just barely, lips still brushing yours with every syllable. “What are you supposed to do?”
“Use my safe word,” you tried leaning up, needing to kiss him again.
“Then use it,” he challenged you. You two maintained eye contact as the first kiss of that rapidly melting ice touched your clit.
It was shock, pleasure, mind numbing. You whispered his name, eyes rolling back as he circled those nerves over and over until the ice melted to nothing. “That's my girl.” His chilled fingers took its place, circling with enough pressure to have you moaning loudly from increased sensitivity. “Relax and let me take care of you.”
His hand became warm, erasing the bite of the cold and relaxing inch by inch of muscle until you were completely soft and soaking below him.
The fingers on your clit moved to your entrance, pushing in and stretching you, prepping you for him. The warmth of his body wrapping you, fighting the chill he had set in, made you almost feel like you had been put into a sleepy haze.
His fingers began moving Inside of you, searching until they found that perfect spot. You seemed to sink even further into the mattress at their heated touch on that spot, whimpering softly as he smiled above you.
Lucien leaned down to you, lips brushing the pointed tip of your ear, “Cum for me, y/n.” You body gave into him instantly, arching back off the bed as you moaned his name to the Heavens. “Good girl. Such A pretty obedient thing.” He praised you through the High, kissing your cheekbones, your nose, your Temple.
When you finally came down, Lucien had settled between your thighs, wet fingers lathering his cock in your essence. He had ice in his mouth as he lined up and pushed home, head falling back as he groaned. He began kissing your neck as his hips met yours again and again. The two temperatures had your body tensing and relaxing, fighting as every nerve stood on end.
His lips came to yours again, a sigh of relief leaving you as your eyes fluttered shut. He was taking his time, waking up your inner walls inch by inch and enjoying every noise falling from your mouth. His cold tongue tasted you, battled your own for dominance.
You wailed, having been distracted by him as cold hit your bundle of nerves again. “No,” it was a half protest, moans now leaving your mouth almost consistently.
“Use your safe word, My lady, and I stop.” You shook your head, moaning his name and praying to the Cauldron. His breathy moans began hitting your ears, telling you he was getting as close as you were.
Your walls were squeezing him, confused on the cold beginning to drip down to your core. Confused by the heat of his cock making love to you. “Lucien-”
“Me too, y/n.” His voice was deep, eyes screwing shut. “Right there, kitten.”
“Lucien-” You moaned again, letting it become a soft cry. “Lucien!”
You came screaming his name, ripping him over the edge behind you as it all became too much. His strong arms wrapped around your hips, allowing him to keep you close as he filled you with sloppy thrusts. He was grunting your name, moaning it like a prayer, eyes shut, and mouth open in bliss.
You two laid there, panting in time with each other. His hands lazily reached up, undoing the restraints and forcing your hands to his hair. You chuckled softly, beginning to massage his scalp. “Idea as good as you hoped, Lu?”
He grunted, snuggling into your breasts. “Mhm. Love loving you. Love being yours.”
You kissed his head. “And I love being yours.”
