charles x female!reader / smau fic

this was a request so thank you anon for providing the idea, i changed some of the detailing ever slightly to fit it more into the social media format but overall i followed the request so i hope i did it justice!

as a bit of a background: you and charles have been together for a few years now, but nobody knows because they’ve kept their relationship secret from the f1 community and private from anyone who follows you. everything is going great until photos of you and charles on vacation get leaked. normally you’d deny it or ignore it but it was very obviously charles in the pictures which cause fans to go crazy, wanting to know everything ultimately resulting in you and charles deciding to go public and hoping for the best. oh and the request included having other drivers on the grid having gone through recent breakups which was another reason charles liked that your relationship was private.

warnings: none, just pure fluff and charles being a simp for his girlfriend !!

“Merci mon amour” You smiled as he situated himself next to you in bed. Having been dating now for almost 3 years, you had picked up on french terms and were able to have small conversations only speaking French with Charles

“I posted you on instagram” you told him as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders pulling you closer into him but being careful not to spill the drink in your hands

“Oh what did you post? My phones charging” he explained as you unlocked your phone and showed him the post you made for him “You’re now being referred to as mystery man” you chuckled.

Out of all the names people had given him throughout the years, this was definitely your favourite. Charles also chuckled when he heard the name that was given to him

“Can I ask you something?” Charles asked after a few seconds of comfortable silence passed between the two of you

“Of course, what’s up?” you asked after taking a small sip of your tea “Do you ever think about going public with our relationship?” He followed up

You turned to face him fully “Of course, mon amour but we both agreed it was better this way” You reiterated the promise you made early on in your relationship

“I know but I hate that I cant comment on your posts or even post you myself” he sighed “I want to keep you safe but I also want the whole world to know you’re mine and I’m yours” he finished.

“I know it’s not fair” you exclaimed while running your fingers through his hair, something you did for him when he was stressed or feeling anxious “I love you all the time though regardless if you post me or not you know that. Right?” You asked him

“Of course I do” he told you in response closing his eyes feeling relaxed “One day we’ll go public. Im making you that promise” he told you opening his eyes again

You smiled at him “Sounds like a beautiful promise” you responded, leaning in to kiss his cheek “As much as I would love to spend the rest of the night talking with you, you have to be at the airport early tomorrow” you reminded him as you stopped playing with his hair, to turn and put your mug on the bedside table next to your side of the bed, Charles putting his own mug on the table next to his side

“Im gonna miss you” he told you when you were both situated in bed, the only source of light coming from the evening sky outside “Not as much as I’m gonna miss you” you told him, snuggling into his side while his arm pulled you closer to him.

Even if you had been dating for awhile, the start of the race season was always a struggle, neither of you wanting to be apart for long periods of time but it was moments like these that you held close and savoured until the next time you could be this close again.

Charles was standing with the other drivers, whenever the new season started they always had to do a bunch of media and although some drivers may hate how childish some of the antics were, overall it’s always a nice time getting to be in the same place as everyone and not be competing for once.

Charles turned to George and Pierre who were in conversation with Carlos and Lando. Somehow they had gotten on the topics of relationships, Lando having told everyone that the girl he was seeing at the end of the previous season before the break, wasn’t in the picture anymore.

“Aw mate I’m sorry” Charles told him “Its okay, we weren’t anything serious” Lando told him, seeming to be completely fine with the outcome. “Carlos how are you and your lady?” Lando asked Carlos taking the attention off of him

“Ehh, its alright” Charles’ teammate answered the question directed at him “We barely talk and now with racing starting, I don’t see her sticking around much longer” he explained his current situation.

To Charles it seemed as though everyone who had been relationships or atleast talking to someone, now had no one which made him a feel a bit guilty as he had been in a 2 year long relationship that none of them knew of.

Later in the day, the guilt in Charles stomach only grew when he somehow found out 3 more drivers on the grids long term relationships had ended. He was feeling unnerved because it seemed as if there was some sort of relationship ruiner going through the paddock and he didn’t want to be the next victim.

That night, he called you up, for a moment forgetting about the time change but remembering its only a small change. You answered after a few rings, you had your painting scrubs on indicating you had been working on a new piece of art

“Hi mon amour” you exclaimed happy to see your boyfriend “I was just in the middle of painting, let me just take my scrubs off so I can move to the couch” You explained, Charles nodded his head acknowledging you

“Okay tell me how everything went today, I want to hear it all” you started talking again once you were situated on your couch. Charles started telling you about his day making sure to include what he learned about his fellow racers, which only caused you both to feel content keeping your relationship to yourselves.

Charles was resting in his drivers room. He was trying to mediate which meant he had his phone silenced. This was something you started doing with him when he would get in his head about racing and it helped him regain his focus especially during the moments when he was to hard on himself.

He had been in here for probably 30 minutes before there was a rapid knock on the door “Charles, its Carlos can I come in?” his teammate asked from the other side

“Yeah” Charles answered. Carlos opened the door and stepped into the room “Have you been on instagram?” Carlos asked holding his phone in his hand

“No why?” Charles was confused, what was so important on there that had Carlos wondering of his activity on the app “You should see this” Carlos told him while passing him his opened phone.

When Charles looked down and saw what he saw, he felt his heart stop. There you and him were on his boat, last summer. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He scrolled through his tagged and it was flooded with the same pictures posted by various accounts

“This isn’t good” he mumbled to himself as he passed Carlos his phone back so he could pick up his own phone. He went to go text you immediately when he remembered you had told him, you and your best friend were going camping for a few days which meant you wouldn’t have reception until you got back home.

He opted to still text you something rather than nothing, that way you would see his message once you turned your phone back on and would give him a call.

“Can I ask who she is?” Carlos asked after a few moments of silence “Shes my girlfriend. We’ve been together now for almost 3 years” Charles answered his friends question, figuring the secret was out now and there was no point in lying.

“Oh wow, you’ve kept this going for that long and its just now coming to light. Thats impressive” Carlos told him

“Yeah we decided early on to keep it between us” Charles sighed “We were planning on going public eventually but I guess the public beat us to it”

Carlos just gave his teammate a sympathetic nod, there wasn’t anything he could say in the moment but he could still be there for his friend.

A few days after this, when you were on the drive back to your place, you turned your phone back on, having a few texts from Charles. One that stood out, read ‘Babe give me a call when you can. I have to talk to you about something’ the text from Charles read.

You weren’t sure what this could be about so you didn’t wait to dial his number once you were in the comfort of your apartment. After a few rings, Charles answered, asking you how camping was and catching up before moving on to talk about what happened while you were offline.

That night you and Charles had a long conversation on what you both wanted to do in this situation and after some back and forth, finally came to a decision regarding your relationship that you both hoped you wouldn’t regret down the line.

the door slammed open, revealing three young witches with their hands full of shopping bags. you knew they were going to hogsmeade together, but a part of you wished they had invited you.

they're your roomates and friends.

you couldn't go as far as calling them your true friends because they don't involve you much in their group activities.

they go on picnics together, shopping for pretty dresses in hogsmeade, having brunch dates, going to the movies.

a part of you wished you're there, being together with them and just fitting in. but the other part of you were thankful as for they're not inviting you because you would feel left out anyways.

it was better to be left out, and only you know it, rather than being left out with other people knowing.

maybe it wasn't their fault. elina is pretty, smart, bright and outgoing. adrienne is cheerful, energetic, and sociable. cassie is ambitious, intelligent, and talkative. you laughed bitterly to yourself, realising that they all have similar traits- all really easy to talk to and would always have an on going conversation.

you couldn't even hold a conversation for more than four minutes. it feels like your fault now.

you sit alone the morning after. you usually sit with your 'friends' for breakfast, but you were hurt from yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that. it was tiring, you needed break.

which caught the attention of a young gryffindor boy, sitting at the opposite end of the table.

remus lupin always thought you're the most beautiful person he ever saw. you two never talked, there's no reason to.

only his longing stares are the closest thing to interaction.

he thought you're beautiful. not the kind of beauty in magazines or billboards, but the kind of beauty that spreads through a field of mystical flowers. a kind that shines golden in daylight and a night fairy at late.

he saw the way you chew on your breakfast gloomily. he wondered why. you weren't spotted with your usual friends. you were just there. alone.

you would think of yourself as pathetic, but remus doesn't. he would never. he saw an angel-like soul that nobody's good enough to know. nobody's smart enough to notice.

he frowned when he saw you wiping away a tear before you got up, exiting the packed hall.

"frowning moony is not a safe moony," james said, quirking his eyebrows up.

"it's y/n, isn't it?" sirius questioned. the handsome man noticed how remus has been distracted from reality lately. he noticed how remus basically looks at you with heart eyes everytime.

"she looks sad today," remus noted, feeling an overwhelming sense of worry flooding him. it was funny to think about actually, you two never spoke a word to each other yet remus is worrying as if you're his.

"talk to her," james urged. "it's been- what was it? years of pining, you should make a move first because we all know she won't."

"i can't- y'know, my condition," remus huffed.

"she won't mind."

"how'd you know?"

"because- she is her...?" sirius said. "give it a try moony, if she doesn't love you with your condition then she doesn't deserve you, but if she does, it's worth it."

"right..."

that evening you sat down staring at an open window, catching your breath. you had been crying. you don't know why you're being so sensitive lately especially since your friends are always like this. why are you taking it so personal now?

you let the wind hit your face, drying your tears up with the cold breeze.

remus was on his nightly patrol around the castle. he's a prefect. that's how he heard a sniffle down the hall, his vision met with the most enchanting sight.

he walked slowly towards you, not wanting to scare. "hey... you alright?"

you turned around abruptly, wiping away the tears on your eyelashes. "i'm sorry for being out late."

"i'm not going to report you to professor mcgonagal, are you alright?" he asked once more.

"yeah, i'll be heading back to my dorm now," you collected yourself. the quiet footsteps didn't go unheard by you. remus was following you to the dorms.

"don't want filch to get you, i'll walk you there," he smiled a generous smile.

then silence fell between the two of you, only for remus to break it. "i know we're not friends but you can talk to me about it if you want, you can trust me," remus took hold of your upper arm, caressing it gently.

"thanks," was the only reply. you cringed at how short it sounded and he probably thinks you're rude and cold which is the opposite of who you are. your words aren't the best representation of yourself.

remus knew you were an introvert, hiding away from crowded rooms whenever you can. you never go to the parties his friends held. he knew you prefer reading to revelling.

he understands, he was once just like you. but with the help and support of his friends, he feels more comfortable in expressing himself now.

"will i see you tomorrow?" remus asked once you were inside the gryffindor common room.

"yeah, thank you- for not turning me in," you sent him an awkward smile.

the next day, you weren't in a better state either. you found out that cassie was talking horrible things about you with some slytherins. you weren't surprised. it was just your nature to constantly be disrespected by them.

remus saw you again that very day. your eyes were watery and your fingers were shaking.

he quickly ran up to you, his heart breaking into a million pieces. how dare someone did this to you?

"honey, you okay?" remus said, looking at you with the fondest eyes.

you almost cried again, hearing how someone actually asked you if you were okay. you shook your head in response.

"talk to me, we're friends," remus said softly. in reality, you two aren't technically friends. you only met face to face twice.

"we're friends?" you asked, feeling unsure.

"we are. from now on. now tell me who did this to you?"

"oh remus i can't," you shook your head.

"okay... but you can talk to me about anything okay? it doesn't have to be important. that's what friends are for," he smiled.

and oh when you smiled back, was like heaven to him. you looked like an ethereal angel with that divine smile and that archangelic face. he might as well fall in love right then and there.

the sparkles in your eyes that hold such loneliness and hope is what he calls beauty. the way you smiles even when you're sad just to assure him that you will be okay is heart warming. to him you weren't just beautiful for something as temporary as your face. you're beauty hides beneath that broken heart of yours, that delicate soul you have.

you opened up after a while, you feel you can trust remus. he is a calm and caring person. the way he asks 'how are you' every morning since. he wrapped his arm around your shoulder because he doesn't want to lose you in the sea of students. he cuts your breakfast so you can eat them easier. he reads to you softly when you cried again because of your friends.

he didn't know how much this has helped you to be okay again. how much you adored him for everything he does, even the questionable ones. you didn't care.

"rem, want to talk to you," you spoke, breaking his gaze from his book.

"i'm all ears, darling," he replied.

"you wanna know why i keep on crying?," you sniffed, ready to open up for the first time. "it's because- cause cassie, elina, and adrienne. they keep saying bad things about me- that you probably heard already. i used to always think we're friends, maybe not the kind like- you and me. but just friends... i guess. they keep leaving me out. it's like they don't even want me there." you were wiping tears away now, feeling unsure of yourself.

you never spoke of your feelings like this. never to anyone. how can remus made it so easy for you to be transparent to him?

"oh angel, they don't deserve you. they're too full of themselves to see how worthy you are. i think- i think you're the perfect just how you are. forget about them yeah? we will start a new beginning. you can come and sit with me from now on. no need to care about them. i will never make you sad, promise."

he pulled you to his chest, embracing you in a warm hug.

he made a promise to himself that every week, he will give you gifts and such to remind you how important you are. how much he loves and cares about you.

he couldn't let you waste your tears for your past friendship. remus treats you like a princess. he wants to make you smile. seeing you happy is what matters most because a dream girl should live in a dreamworld. and he made it a mission to make a perfect world for you.

he remembered you saying how those girls never invited you to picnics so here he is, inviting you to join the picnic he has set just for you and him.

"oh rem, this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done!" you sighed, sitting yourself down on the carpet.

"it's nothing! you deserve it," he smiled proudly, pouring you and himself a cup of chamomile tea. your favourite.

there's something sparkling in your wrist. the shine of it glimmering under the perfect weather. you were wearing a bracelet remus gave to you a few days ago. a pretty silver chain with a moon and angel wings intertwined together.

when he first saw the jewelery on the display, it immediately reminded him of you so he just had to buy two of them. a matching bracelet.

god, nobody has ever even given you a friendship bracelet before.

he saw you, picking up the fresh strawberries with your delicate hands. 'what a dreamy girl' he thought 'and to have an angel like her to call my own'

he wanted to kiss you right there. everything was perfect at the moment. the soft honey rays of the sunshine warms the air surrounding the two of you, there's no reason for remus to scoot over closer to your figure. but he did anyways.

"i like a girl, no i actually love her," he started.

your heart sank, you thought maybe-just maybe remus is the one. he pulled you right out of misery in the best way.

remus saw your crestfallen expression, though he continued, "she makes my heart jump. she's the girl i've been in love with for a long time, i wanna go wherever she goes."

you forced a smile at him, munching on your strawberry that suddenly turned sour.

"she gets sad often, but that doesn't stop her from taking care of the people around her, and herself. she's smart and wise. she inspires me actually. everytime we say goodnight, i go to bed and sleep happily. dreaming of happy thoughts because when she's around, there's no negativity."

"i love her- y/n," he said, hinting at the way he emphasised your name.

"can i know who she is?" you asked shyly.

"can you guess?"

"i don't know..."

"well, i see her everytime," remus said, a smile playing on his lips.

"you see a lot of people everyday," you replied.

"i said everytime not everyday," he chuckled.

"that's not possible!"

"it is actually. i could never get tired of her. anyone is crazy if they do," he shook his head. "okay.. she smells like the most cosiest bakery in town."

"i don't think i know anyone that smells like a bakery."

"of course you don't, darling," remus said, cupping your cheeks. "'cause it's you. i'm in love with you,"

"wha- me?" you knitted your brows. he caressed them away.

"yes you, it's obvious actually. i thought you knew," remus chucked. "i don't have matching bracelets with anyone else, i never go on picnics, i never crochet someone a sweater before, i could go on but i want to hear what you have to say."

"i love you too, it's inevitable," you said, rubbing your cheeks further on his palms.

"can i kiss you?" he asked. he always considered himself a gentleman and he will be the most gentlemanly when it comes to you.

Once upon a time in the colorful world of BarbieLand, there was a lovely Barbie named Florist Barbie. She had her own little flower shop, “Blooms and Petals," filled with beautiful blossoms of all colors and varieties.

Every day, the doll inhabitants of BarbieLand would come to her shop to buy flowers for their loved ones, and Florist Barbie would take pride in arranging the most enchanting bouquets for them.

Unlike the other Barbie dolls, Florist Barbie had a unique passion for flowers, and her shop was known for its enchanting arrangements and delightful fragrances.

However, there was something that set her apart from the rest of the Barbies in town - there was a hint of sadness in her eyes because, unlike many other Barbies, she didn't have a Ken of her own.

Every day, like clockwork, Stereo Ken strolled into "Blooms and Petals" to buy a bouquet for Stereo Barbie, the girl of his dreams.

Florist Barbie couldn't help but feel a pang of longing whenever she saw them together, as she secretly harbored feelings for Stereo Ken.

Stereo Ken was dashing, with his perfectly coiffed hair and chiseled features. He came to “Blooms and Petals” every morning to buy flowers for Stereo Barbie.

Every morning as Stereo Ken walked into her shop. She'd watch him carefully as he perused the blooms, helping him choose the most meaningful flowers that he believed would win Stereo Barbie's heart.

Florist Barbie's stomach would flutter uncontrollably as she admired Ken from afar, secretly pining for his affection. She knew she could never reveal her feelings, for she feared it would ruin their friendship and Ken's admiration for her floral expertise.

Despite her own longing for him, Florist Barbie couldn't resist helping him. She knew she was trapped in a bittersweet situation where she had to be the silent supporter of his romantic pursuit.

One day, Stereo Ken entered the shop, looking a bit troubled. "Hey, Barbie," he greeted her with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"Hey, Ken, What brings you in today?" she replied with a warm smile. “I need your help," Ken admitted, glancing around the shop nervously. "I want to get the perfect flowers for Barbie today. I've been trying so hard to win her heart, but I just feel like I'm not good enough for her."

Florist Barbie's heart sank, "Ken, you are an amazing person," she said sincerely, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You are kind, thoughtful, and caring. Anyone would be lucky to have you."

Ken sighed, "I don't know. Barbie is so perfect, and I feel like I can never measure up to her expectations." Florist Barbie felt a mix of sympathy and frustration.

She wanted to tell him that he deserved someone who appreciated him for who he was, but she couldn't reveal her true feelings. Instead, she focused on helping him find the perfect flowers for Barbie.

"Let's pick out some flowers with special meanings," she suggested, leading him through the shop. "How about these roses? They represent love and admiration, which perfectly captures your feelings for Barbie."

Ken nodded, his face brightening a little. "That sounds good. What else?" Florist Barbie went to another display, “Oooh! Lilies, represent purity and devotion, which can be perfect if you want to show your sincerity.”

She went to another display and picked some more flowers, “Or these Orchids could signify beauty and admiration, which is an ideal choice to convey your admiration for her grace. And then, there are the sunflowers, symbolizing warmth and happiness, a great way to express the joy she brings into your life."

Ken listened intently to her words, nodding slowly. "Those are all wonderful choices, Barbie. But you know what I just realized? Aren't all these your favorite too?"

Florist Barbie blushed, unable to hide her secret any longer. "Well, yes, they are," she admitted, her voice a soft whisper. "I find beauty and meaning in all of them. But enough about me, let's focus on helping you choose the perfect bouquet for Barbie."

They continued their search, and Florist Barbie carefully selected a bouquet that conveyed love, admiration, sincerity, warmth, and happiness, hoping that Stereo Barbie would see the depth of Ken's affection.

As Ken hurriedly gathered the bouquet, he turned to Florist Barbie with a grateful smile. "Thanks for all your help, Barbie. I don't know what I would have done without you. You're such a good friend."

Florist Barbie's heart sank as she forced a weak smile in return. "You're welcome, Ken. I'm glad I could assist you. I hope Barbie loves the flowers."

Ken nodded enthusiastically, seemingly oblivious to the turmoil within Florist Barbie's heart. "I'm sure she will. They're perfect, just like you always say."

With that, he dashed out of the flower shop, leaving Florist Barbie standing there, feeling the weight of heartbreak and unrequited love.

She watched him go, struggling to keep her composure, "That's what I do, Barbie," she sighs whispering to herself, forcing a smile. "I help others find happiness even if it's not with me."

The next day, BarbieLand was buzzing with excitement as Stereo Barbie announced she was hosting a Big Blowout Party.

Florist Barbie was attending the event, feeling a mix of excitement and sadness. She chatted with her friend Allan, who could see the longing in her eyes whenever Ken was mentioned.

Ken approached them, looking anxious. "Hey, Barbie. Allan. Can I talk to you for a moment?" Allan looked at Florist Barbie curiously. "Sure, Ken. What's on your mind?" Florist Barbie tried to appear composed, even though her heart was racing as she replied almost instantly.

"I'm thinking of asking Barbie(Stereo) to dance tonight. Do you think she'd say yes?" he asked, nervously running his hand through his perfectly coiffed hair and scratching his neck nervously.

“Well I think-“ Allan begins wanting to give his buddy advice but Florist Barbie musters smile and interrupts. "Absolutely, Ken. You should go for it! I'm sure she'd love to dance with you."

Ken thanks them giving Florist Barbie his wine goblet joining the dance floor leaving Florist Barbie feeling a mixture of happiness for him and deep sorrow within herself.

Allan, seeing her distress, took her aside. "Barbie, you can't keep this to yourself any longer. You need to tell Ken how you feel."

She sighs throwing the goblet behind her, "I can't, Allan. It's too painful. I'll only end up losing his friendship too."

Allan placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You deserve to be happy too, Barbie. You never know how Ken might feel about you if you don't confess. Take a chance, or you'll always wonder what could have been."

Despite Allan's words, Florist Barbie left the party heartbroken. She found solace near a shimmering pink water fountain. Sitting alone, she felt a deep pain in her heart as she stared at her reflection in the plastic water.

Suddenly, to her shock, a human-like tear trickled down her porcelain cheek. "What is happening to me?" she wondered in astonishment. Shocked, she touched her face, wondering how such a thing was possible. Little did she know that her genuine emotions and the depth of her feelings had brought her to life in a way she had never experienced before.

Card Set Hanakotoba

Recently I was discussing with my lovely friend @istoleyourboat about the meanings behind the flowers in this new card set, and I felt the urge to chronicle them somewhere! I thought you guys might get a kick out of it, too, so this seemed as good a place as any to put it.

So without further ado...

1. Hanako-kun - Queen of the Night

The Queen of the Night (月下美人) is a cactus flower that blooms just once a year for a single night. Because of this, the most heavily associated meanings with the flower are "transient beauty", "fleeting love," and "the urge to see someone just once."

The short-lived life of this flower feels quite fitting for our ghosty boy! I also like how the flower looks both beautiful and unsettling...all around a fantastic choice by AidaIro.

2. Nene Yashiro - Strawberry Blossoms

If you have paid attention to the Hanakotoba in TBHK before, then Nene being associated with strawberries should be nothing new to you. Regardless, the prevalent Hanakotoba for Strawberry Blossoms (イチゴ) are "love," "innocence," and "you make me happy."

The "you make me happy" one makes me want to kick my feet around and squeal a little. Isn't that cute!? I also feel the strawberry is especially fitting for Nene because it seems like something she would grow in her Gardening Club.

3. Kou - Clivia

Otherwise known by the names Bush Lily or Natal Lily, the Hanakotoba for Clivia (君子蘭) are "sincere," "noble" and "good-hearted."

I think this all fits very nicely with our resident good boy Kou, hm?

4. Teru - Bird of Paradise

The Bird of Paradise (ストレリチア) symbolizes "faithfulness," "magnificence," "a bright future" and "superficial love."

Even at a glance this flower really pops out at you, making it a great fit for the ever-impressive Teru. I really, really love this choice!!

5. Sakura - Hellebore

Otherwise known as the Christmas Rose, the Hellebore (クリスマスローズ) represents "reminiscence," "never forget me" and "notice my woes."

The way this beautiful flower seems to cast its head down makes it look almost sad. I suppose that's why it has such pitiful meanings associated with it!

6. Natsuhiko - King Protea

King Protea (キングプロテア), also known as the Sugarbush, symbolizes "strength," "courage," "resilience," and "a king's quality."

If you notice, Natsuhiko always has a little crown-shaped tuft hidden in his hair, so AidaIro associating Natsuhiko with a flower that references royalty pleases me. There's still a lot of mystery surrounding him, but we can at least confirm that Natsuhiko is, indeed, strong and resilient.

7. Akane - Ivy

The plain, non-flowering ivy stands out in stark contrast to the other plants here, but that's because the hanakotoba for it is just that good. Ivy (ヘデラ) means "everlasting love," "I take this feeling to the afterlife," "faithfulness", and "marriage."

Like, if that doesn't scream Akane, I don't know what does.

8. Aoi - Hydrangea

Again, if you've been paying attention to Hanakotoba in the series, this will not be the first time you've seen Aoi paired with hydrangea. Regardless, hydrangea (アジサイ) represents "enduring love," "mystique," and "fickleness."

The hydrangea is also associated with rejection, more specifically the coldness of a person who rejects the romantic advances of another. It's just such a perfect Aoi flower, there's no wonder AidaIro is so attached to it.

Synopsis: Bada has been in love with you for three years but didn't have the courage to really ask you out until you accidentally revealed that you're crushing on Bada during the interview you did with Jessi

Bada sighs as she stands outside your apartment door, nervously waiting for you to come out. She finally found the courage to ask you out for a date. She has been in love with you for three years now but she couldn't make a move since you're an idol and you were prohibited to date. But then everything changed when you accidentally admitted in an interview you had with Jessi, that you are crushing on your choreographer and close friend, Bada Lee.

Jessi was even shocked at your accidental confession. One, everyone thought you were straight as hell and two, she always thought you liked a fellow idol, not your choreographer. When that interview came out, Bada felt like she just won the lottery. Being in love with you for three years and seeing that there's a huge chance for you to feel the same way, Bada threw all precaution out of the window and asked you on a date when you finished rehearsing the choreography for your latest single. You were surprised at first but agreed to go out with Bada because you'd be an idiot if you said no. Plus you're under new management anyways, no one's telling you what to do with your life anymore.

"Hi, how long were you waiting?" you asked when you finally got out of your apartment. Bada's cheeks were warm when she saw you. You looked so beautiful wearing that white dress with a baby blue jacket. It's simple yet it brings out your natural beauty.

"H-hi.. I just got here for a few minutes so it wasn't that long." she says and hands you a bouquet of flowers which you took with a smile. You loved the effort Bada put into this date, it made you swoon. Yeah you dated men before but none of them really made you feel like you're the most beautiful girl in the world. The way Bada looked at you with so much love in her eyes got your heart melting at the sight.

Bada led you to her car, opening the door for you and even securing your seatbelt for you that got you swooning even more. She drove to this fastfood restaurant you picked out because you really didn't want to go to a fancy restaurant on your first date. You wanted the vibes to be chill, to be fun, where you can just laugh with her and eat what you want without worrying way too much.

"This is much better than I expected.." you gasped out as you entered with Bada, arms linked together. She smiles seeing how happy you looked even with simple things. That's what made her fall for you in the first place. Back when you were still in a group, you were the kindest, the simplest and would prefer to stay back and talk with staff, back up dancers like Bada and would even share a meal with them. Then you went for a solo career. Staff and other people who worked with you are always blessed by how caring you are to them then you picked Bada as your choreographer even if she wasn't that known yet.

"You really are adorable." Bada chuckles and leads you to a booth where you were sat across from each other. Both of you ordered your food and while waiting, you took out your phone and took pictures of you and Bada going out on your first date.

"I really wanna cherish this moment. It's not everyday I get asked out by my crush.." you gushed that got Bada laughing and taking her phone out before she took adorable pictures of you.

"It's not everyday that my crush agrees to go out on a date with me so I'm taking lots of pictures as proof that she did go out with me." Bada said and you could swear that you're as red as the ketchup now. You still couldn't believe that you and Bada are crushing on each other. It still feels like a wonderful dream to you.

The date went smoothly, you got to know each other pretty well. Very well that it felt like you've already known each other for 20 years. You shared childhood memories, some stories about your lives and even some embarrassing stories from childhood to highschool life that earned some laughs between you two. You genuinely enjoyed the night you spent with Bada and hoped there would be more.

Ever since that night, both of you only got closer and closer. You'd sometimes crash at her place or she'd crash at yours to hang out, maybe watch a movie while cuddled up to each other. Bada couldn't get enough of you and you felt the same. Rumors of you and her dating has been an ongoing topic on gossip sites but you didn't care. You just let them speculate since you're just enjoying the love Bada showers you with. When you're not too busy, you'd go out on little dates with Bada and you even met her team which was a delight since they're all really nice to you.

"Badaaaaaa I have something to tell you real quick." you called out to Bada and she looked at you, a bit confused. They're all now preparing since they're shooting for Street Woman Fighter's first episode. You were the first to know about the good news since Bada was at your place when she received the email of them being selected to join the competition.

"What is it? You okay?" Bada asked, concerned and you just smiled as you hugged her. It's been a few months since you and Bada started this situation and you felt like you're ready to take it a step further with her. You've never been so sure in your life.

"Bada, I want us to be officially girlfriends now.." you whispered to her and Bada could swear she froze for a moment when she heard those words that she's been waiting for you to say. She then looks at you, then your face to find any hints of you joking around but you looked sincere though very much amused by her reaction.

"Oh my god.. Hold on, let me just process this. Honestly my mind is still processing what you just said." Bada says and you were already shaking from laughter.

"Yeah go ahead and take your time.." you told her and it was after five minutes that the information finally sank in her brain. She hugged you tight and kissed your lips, she's just way too happy that after three long years of being in love with you, she can finally call you her girlfriend.

"Damn I love you so much.. I'll get back to you and we'll talk about this some more after we're done with this. I swear I'll do my best to make you proud." Bada said before they were called for the shooting already. You nodded and kissed her cheek before sending her off.

It has been exactly two months since you and Bada became official that you asked her to move in with you. It was more convenient that way since your place is closer to the studio and a bit bigger so you can let team Bebe crash in as well especially when they finish working so late in the night. Living with Bada has been pure bliss. You loved waking up next to her even if she wakes up really early. It just tied everything together and you couldn't be any happier.

yes i kno i do a lot of agent 24 headcanons but what if. pearlina headcanons

(aka the other splatoon ship that makes up most of my brain's space)

so at this point i think we all pretty much get their lore - marina was an octoling solider that heard the inkantation at the end of splat1 and fled from underground, pearl was a richy rich inkling who wanted to start a band, they make out they get married they adopt agent 8 yk the Canon

marina's first impression of pearl was "wow this short inkling girl can scream"

pearl's first impression of marina was that she looked cool and would make her band stand out from the rest bc of her "weird" look (pearl canonically did not know marina was an octoling lol) it wasnt long until "cool" became "shes pretty cute actually" and then "wow shes beautiful" and it just went downhill from there

for pearl she definitely fell in love with marina's looks first,, shes not even gonna lie,, she can be a lil shallow lesbian smh

marina for. obvious reasons cant say she ever found inklings physically attractive, given the. yk. propaganda in the underground

so for her she really admired pearl's inner beauty first and most

i like to think marina was not on the ground *at all* when she was in the military. definitely the one controlling the tech from the sidelines so she never really had to hold a weapon

hence, marina cannot fight. she's too pretty & she will cry

okay well she did grow up underground so she can hold her own when she needs to but she gets frazzled easily and a little overwhelmed. definitely tries to talk or manipulate her way out of tough situations

marina,,, immediately politely declined and pearl helped her get an apartment instead

basically, despite appearances and titles, pearl is not the princess who needs protecting by marina , she thinks of it Very differently

pearl's love language is, obviously, words of affirmation and gift giving

her way of "courting" marina was buying her tons of stuff and offering to have people do everything for her so she doesnt have to lift a finger

it worked for all pearl's exs sooooo should work for this octo baddie right (she is not right)

marina's love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation...actually its mostly physical touch lol

yk marina hugging pearl so hard they fall on the ground at the end of octo expansion. and then she keeps Going

marina is "baby i want the most high tech weaponry on the black market" and pearl is definitely "my baby gets whatever she wants laws be damned"

growing up a only child in a family with a LOT of money means pearl definitely got the spoiling but. she never got the feeling of spoiling Someone Else and she prefers that waay more

marina does not have expensive tastes,,, but she doesnt mind being spoiled sometimes as a treat i meann it would be rude to decline n she was raised to be polite soooOO

if marina's friends from the octoling barracks saw the stuff pearl buys her now they would be in Shock

but dont forget,,, marina was team love so shes not overly impressed by *all* the gifts

of all the fancy music gear and clothes and things pearl has bought her marina's favorite gift has just been plain ole flowers

they dont grow underground obviously but theyve always captured marina, the smell the look the different varieties she loves them

when marina thinks of the beauty and joy of being above ground first she thinks of pearl, and then she thinks of flowers

pearl catches on that marina likes flowers and starts ordering her tons of bouquets and starts lining the hallways leading to her apartment with floral gifts and flowers in the shape of her head and all kinds of junk

whenever they get into fights pearl Always is the one to apologize. not just because shes usually the one whose wrong but marina is scary good at being cold (surprisingly given how affectionate and sweet she is with pearl) and pearl absolutely Hates it, its like the world feels wrong

everyone notices because marina is usually all over her, so pearl gets pressured by her bodyguards to apologize too (they always know shes in the wrong)

marina makes it look easy,,, but shes usually moments away from apologizing herself bc she misses her pearl so much

pearl is one of those people who makes sounds and hand motions to express feelings and marina is usually the only one who understands

marina has literally made a powerpoint presentation on all the things she loves about pearl in great detail. and she will present it do not test her

she's perpetually in the "crushing phase" and gets so excited to spend time with her and pearls like "babe we've been married for 2 years i see u every night and day"

Pairings: John Price x F!Reader

Summary: after a few months since his last visit, John finally gets the chance to see the girl.

Word Count: 1.4k

Tw: hurt with a lot of comfort. John being a softie, lots of trauma. 3rd pov. another foreshadowing to 'the things i never said' it's all connected. As usual lots of grammar mistakes and not proofread 👻🌸

"You've seen it right?" She asks, crossing her arms. John stares straight ahead, at the screen of his computer. The videos have long finished yet he can't find the words to describe the atrocities he's witnessed. It's not like he hasn't seen evil before. But that right there was hell on earth. He inhales deeply. "Are we going?" The sergeant blinks rapidly, waiting for an answer.

"I'm certain I won't be dragging you to another mission. Unless I want Simon to actually kill me this time." Leaning back in his chair, John ponders about the possibilities. It was a risky mission but then again, what mission wasn't? He couldn't just ignore what he just saw. There was no way he'd stay out of this one, stay behind and watch some other team fail. They had one shot, no do-overs.

He set up a meeting with Laswell that evening. A café near Piccadilly to inform her regarding his decision.

One month after he was visiting her for the first time since he rescued her. She was placed in a room inside the NCA headquarters awaiting for the next interrogation.

God he hated bureaucracy.

"Heard from one of the ladies you like these."

She looks up from the book in her lap. Her eyes glimmer with appreciation and surprise. That was another golden rule. No men were allowed near her quarters. She didn't hate them but as a result of everything she endured she preferred to not have them coming unannounced; it triggered something within her. But for some unknown reason she had decided to let him in. When the lady that was now more like a friend to her than a simple officer, told her that Captain John Price wanted to ask for permission –her permission– to visit her.

She knew that name now. How could she not?

The man that had set her free from calvary. She immediately said yes.

He was dressed all in black from head to toe. The bucket hat he wore the day he saved her was replaced by a beanie.

"I do." She whispers, standing up and coming to approach him although hesitantly at first.

A stark contrast between them, she was wearing white pants and a white shirt.

Made her think of darkness and light.

"They treating you good?" He asks, handing out the flowers to her. She looks in awe, beautiful pink and purple hydrangeas.

"Yes." She answered dumbfounded. Her cheeks slightly burning at the gesture. John slides his hands in his pockets. "These are beautiful, thank you Captain." Her eyes flutter when she raises her head.

"Just John, love. No need for formalities here." Her lips part. Heart swelling with something unknown. John was kind, and had a soothing presence. "What are you listening to?" The soft music comes back to her eardrums, struggling to form a coherent thought.

"Umm, I- I think it's called 'to get away' it's... calming... quite different from the blink-182 songs I used to like." Turning on her heels she approaches the small table next to her bed where she places the flowers down then motions him to sit on the couch, he obliges, arms resting on his knees as she sits cross legged across from him. "Sorry I wasn't expecting to see you here."

He nods.

"Yeah, neither did I." he's playing with his thumbs, eyes never leaving her, who's chewing down her lip as a nervous manner.

"So... what brought you here? Did they tell you to come?" A small part of her couldn't help but be a little defensive. And John couldn't blame her for that.

"No." He was quick to answer. "It's not that." He shakes his head, taking a deep breath. The dimly lit room feels almost warm with her in here. Almost. Considering where they are. John didn't have an actual answer. Why hadn't he gone home after the mission was completed? Just like he would've any other day. "Guess some things just stick with you."

She hums, pondering John's words.

"I'm happy you're here, you know?" A smile spreads on her face. "Wasn't sure if I'd see you again."

He chuckles, face warming at her words.

"Would that be so bad, sweetheart? To never see me again."

"It would. I don't think I can thank you enough for what you and your team did." Standing up from the bed she opens a drawer, it takes a few seconds, she's rummaging around. Then from a well hidden worn out book, she takes a folded white sheet, although white wasn't quite the word he'd use. It was old, probably had it tucked away for a long time.

"This means a lot to me." The girl walks slowly where John sits. Looking down the paper as if she's remembering something. Someone. "Josie drew it. Said she believed one day we'd be free." Tears begin to collect in the corner of her eyes. "Only one of us made it." She hands him the piece of paper. John's dead serious, taking it with gentle hands as if it was the most fragile thing he ever laid hands on. He then unfolds it, eyes scanning the colorful patterns of pink and yellow. His heart shatters for the girl. Next thing he knows, is that small arms embrace him. He's taken aback but recovers quickly, hugging her so tightly like she probably never has been in a good while. "And I'm sure she'd be happy if you have it."

He doesn't have kids of his own. Don't even know if he ever will. One thing's for sure.

He'd call his daughter Josie.

It's the smell of homemade food that wakes him up from the deep sleep. He walks down the short hallway and to the kitchen. She's already pouring lunch in two big plates.

"Is that pasta?" His voice groggy from sleep. She turns her head, wide-eyed.

"You know for a man who's built like you, you sure are silent." Price chuckles, scratching his beard. "It's quite late, thought you'd be hungry. You looked tired so..." she shrugs. "Didn't want to disrupt your dream."

He sits down on the kitchen stool, as she places the food in front of him.

"Haven't slept this good in years." She takes a seat next to him. "Could get used to it."

She tries to hold back a smile but fails.

"Me too." She answers. "I mean that I could get used to the company."

John turns to see her, draping his left arm right above the backrest where she sits.

"Come with me." He pleads. Leaning closer towards her form. She's dumbfounded, jaw slacking as she meets his blue eyes. John presses a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I can keep you safe."

"Will they allow it? I- I want to, more than anything." She breathes out. There's something electrifying in the air between the two. Something none can explain.

"I could pull some strings." He assures. "Once this all comes to an end; and I promise we nearly got them, love. I'll take care of you, as long as you'll have me."

Her heart flutters at the thought of going home to John. His home. She'd welcome him every time he walked past the doorway, cook the best food for him. Get to see him every night and sleeping by his side, feel the warm touch of his hands in her bare skin. The only man she'd let come close enough to see it all. She lifts her hand absentmindedly, stroking his brown locks. A shaky breath leaving her mouth; the sound of birds outside and and car being parked. Officer Davis' midday visit, probably bringing another stack of books for her to read. The pumpkin bread she had ready for him to take for his daughters.

"Is forever a long time?"

John breathes deeply. She smells like cinnamon and comfort. The undeniable truth that she wormed her way into his heart so deep he doesn't want to let go; can't remember his life before that gloomy day in Bulgaria.

Before her.

"Not at all."

And your eyes are also something he admittedly loved about you. The different colours fascinated him, making him wonder how they were even possible to exist.

Tamaki Suoh

🌸 Tamaki is obviously very flamboyant in nature and super pushy, but he’s also the sweetest man you’ve ever met.

🌸 And sure he puts on that show for the host club ladies, but you aren’t a host club lady, you never were. You used to despise Tamaki Suoh.

🌸 But then one day, he watched a group of boys mess with you in the courtyard, and he didn’t just stand by.

🌸 After kicking one guy to the ground, He threatened all of them, using his father’s power against them (a move he learned from Kyoya), and sent the boys running with their tails between their legs.

🌸 After that, you decided to take time to get to know Tamaki. Being his girlfriend though, that was a secret to anyone outside of direct host club members.

🌸 And they all loved you. You’d get to hang out with them. Being in the same class as Tamaki and Kyoya, you spent most of your time with them during the day.

🌸 But host club hours were your favorite part.

🌸 Tamaki would find some time to sneak away with you and just hold you for a moment, just so you knew he loved you.

🌸 He’d bring you flowers every Saturday, always your favorites of course. He’d love to take you out on food dates and shopping trips, he’d love to buy you things.

🌸 But most of all, Tamaki loved holding your hand. 🌸 You’re the first girl he’s truly loved, and he loves being able to do simple things like walk down a street together.

🌸 He’d play piano for you, all the time. The songs he’d play would tell you how he was feeling that day, but whether you knew it or not, moments like this he spent with you were the best part of his day.

Kyoya Ootori

🌸 Kyoya is a man that hardly shows any kind of happiness. That being said, you truly enamored him when the two of you first met.

🌸 You had met outside of Ouran entirely. Fuyumi had extended an invite to the Ootori group’s Christmas party to one of her friends from work. They would be bringing a sister, and that was all Kyoya knew.

🌸 But then he met you. And you took his breath away. Of course, Kyoya is the cool type, so he’s going about this super chill.

🌸 He’ll first ask you your name, and then he’ll compliment how lovely that sounds, repeating it back to you, making your heart race.

🌸 But after he gets your phone number, he’d start calling you to ask you out on dates. He’d take you to all kinds of beautiful places like butterfly sanctuaries and botanical gardens.

🌸 After he’d ask you to be his girlfriend though, he’d start going the extra mile just for you. He’d take you to far away cities you’ve never seen before when you’d both have the time off from school.

🌸 He’d love exploring new cities with you as well, places he’s never been. He loves having opportunities like this with you, sharing these experiences together makes these memories feel that much more special.

🌸 I feel like Kyoya’s love language would be gift giving and words of affirmation. He’d love to give you gifts and then tell you how much you mean to him.

🌸 During class hours, he’d pass you notes. Little notes with doodles of you. They’d say some little compliment on them, something about how your hair looks today or how radiant your smile was.

🌸 In private, Kyoya was very touchy. He loved hugs believe it or not, but only your hugs. He’d lay with you for a while and just play with your hair.

🌸 When it came to the host club, Kyoya would try to keep you as far away from the band of idiots as he could.

🌸 But you’d always sneak in for a little piece of cake and some time with Kyoya, and he never truly minded it.

Hikaru Hitachiin

🌸 We all know that Hikaru is insecure. He does know how to be confident, but when it comes to himself and his romantic feelings, he doesn’t know what to do.

🌸 He asks you to go on a little shopping date with him, and you agreed. He was surprised you had said yes, but after that it became a regular thing.

🌸 He loved watching you try on clothes, he’d compliment you in every single outfit you tried on. He thought you were ethereal.

🌸 And once you were his girlfriend, he’d surprise you with endless outfits he’d love to see you wear on your dates with him. Some of them were really well put together, while others were….too promiscuous.

🌸 He’d love to go on coffee dates with you, too. He’d even plan trips for the two of you to other cities just so you two could experience coffee in new places together.

🌸 And he’d also love to go on beach dates with you. He’d fly out to Okinawa just for a day with you in the water.

🌸 Hikaru loves to talk about himself, but he swears that there is nothing more interesting than what you have to say. If you’re telling him a story of your past, he will remember every detail.

🌸 Hikaru’s love language is definitely physical touch as well as quality time, so he’d love to have his hands on you at all times.

🌸 Linking arms when walking in the street, always snuggling you close to him when he’s asleep, sitting with his arm around you or with his hand in yours, he just loves knowing you’re right next to him.

🌸 Hikaru would definitely have those moments of self doubt and anxiety, and when he did they could get rough.

🌸 On one occasion he had said something that made you cry, but he snapped out of it quick after seeing the tears roll down your face.

🌸 He realizes he hates to see you cry and he swears he will protect the smile that he loves so much.

Kaoru Hitachiin

🌸 Kaoru is the soft spoken, easygoing twin. Haruhi DID say that Hikaru was the mischievous one.

🌸 But Kaoru is a little more sure of himself than Hikaru is. And when he realized he had feelings for you, he didn’t wait to ask you out on a date.

🌸 Kaoru likes to do fun educational things I feel like. He’d take you to a planetarium or an art museum.

🌸 Or, he’d take you out to a festival. Kaoru loves dressing up with you for them, he’d have his mother make an extra matching kimono for you.

🌸 He’s definitely the type of man to take you out on picnic dates and hand feed you strawberries. You’d eat, and then he’d let you lay with your head on his lap while you both digested.

🌸 Kaoru would also like to take you out on trips, but he definitely is more of a middle-of-nowhere type of guy. He’d rather take you to the mountains of Norway or to a huge forest house in America, but he is still down to go on trips like Rio de Jenario or Berlin.

🌸 His love languages are also probably physical touch and words of affirmation.

🌸 You’ve seen how close Kaoru is with Hikaru, it’s only natural that Kaoru will also be touchy with you. He loves to simply hold your hand for the most part when you two go out.

🌸 But when you’re alone, Kaoru is the best snuggler. He loves to be big spoon, and he’ll wrap himself around you entirely as if he’s protecting you.

🌸 However, because Kaoru sometimes feels as if he’s trailing behind Hikaru instead of walking beside him, this will make him insecure.

🌸 He loves when you help reassure him of himself, and ground him again.

🌸 He also loves when you remind him of what you love about him and what makes him special to you, what sets him apart from Hikaru.

🌸 He’d just so happy that he has someone like you, someone who has crossed into his world and brought out the best in him. He loves that you see Kaoru, not ‘Hikaru and Kaoru’.

Mistkuni Haninozuka

🌸 Mistkuni can be a bit of a child, but we all know he is a full grown boy and he knows it himself as well. He just doesn’t care.

🌸 So when he decided to finally ask you out, it was on a date to the aquarium. Of course he had to ask if Usa-chan could come along with you two.

🌸 He’s obviously very into sweets. And once you were his girlfriend, he’d love to take you out on bakery dates and buy you any sweets you’d want.

🌸 He’d also probably be the picnic type of guy. He’d love to have a nice picnic with cake, tea, Usa-chan and you, all of his favorite things.

🌸 Mitskuni is also a fun dates guy, but more like amusement parks and zoos. He loves to take you to exciting places.

🌸 He’d probably take you to Disney and make you get matching ears with him honestly, he’s that cheesy and cute.

🌸 But unfortunately Mistkuni also still has a dojo to attend to. The first time you visited his estate, watching all of the members of the dojo bow and respect him was almost humbling.

🌸 You’d watch him train on weekends before you’d be able to go out with him, but you didn’t mind. You loved seeing this side of Mitskuni.

🌸 His love languages are quality time and physical touch. Mitskuni loves to spend his time with you. You could be doing anything and he didn’t care.

🌸 We all know he takes afternoon naps, but if you take one with him he’s sure to never let you go. He would love to cuddle up to you while you’d sleep together.

🌸 Honestly, you might just be Mitskuni’s favorite person. But don’t tell Takashi that.

Takashi Morinozuka

🌸 Okay but everyone knew about Takashi turning down a girl because his priority was serving Mitskuni.

🌸 That was, until he met you on the first day of your first year at Ouran.

🌸 Takashi was a a simple man, all he really cared for before was Mitskuni. But he found himself speaking more around you, and coming to find you were listening.

🌸 And one day, you had nearly fallen down a flight of stairs, and he caught you. And in that moment, he realized just how much you could take over his heart and he’d willingly just give it to you if you merely asked.

🌸 But after making sure you were okay, Takashi did ask you out on a date. He was a simple man, and your first date was actually to a park. All he wanted to do was take a walk.

🌸 But after that, he’d take you out on dates to the animal shelters or to fun hiking trails. Takashi is a fit guy, so I feel like he’d enjoy lots of exercise dates like that.

🌸 He’d also be the type of guy to go on a bike riding date. He’d get bikes for the both of you and the two of you would ride around together all day exploring the city.

🌸 And if you really enjoy doing these things with him, he’d take you to fun places like Amsterdam or Paris, somewhere to cycle around and enjoy the sights to see.

🌸 Or, he’d take you on a cool hiking trip through the Amazon Rain Forest or through the Grand Canyon. He loves just spending that time with you.

🌸 Takashi’s love language would definitely be quality time and acts of service.

🌸 He isn’t a man of many words, even if he has more for you than most others, nor does he often display his affections, but just doing the things he enjoys with you is more than enough for him.

🌸 He would definitely carve out just a little extra time in each day just to spend it with you. Seeing you was his favorite part of the day.

Haruhi Fujioka

🌸 Haruhi doesn’t really know she likes girls yet, so when she meets you on her first day at Ouran, her heart began to race, and she didn’t really know what do think or do.

🌸 After she had joined the host club, you never said anything, but you knew she was a girl on her first day of school. She had lost her glasses, but you definitely saw right through them.

🌸 And soon after you recognized the growing crush you had on Haruhi, you began attending the host club.

🌸 But you made Haruhi just slightly more nervous than usual, and you didn’t know why. Your initial first thought was she didn’t like you. But after spending more time with her, she had asked you out on a date.

🌸 And after asking, she told you she was a girl. But you laughed, informing her you already knew, which brought about her shock afterwards.

🌸 She eventually started to laugh with you, and after that everything fell into place. She’d taken you to a bookstore in her town, and you were obsessed with it.

🌸 After that though, you would take her out on dates instead for the most part. She’d plan them sometimes, but you loved to be the one to spoil her.

🌸 You loved taking Haruhi to museums and sushi restaurants. The look on Tamaki’s face when you bragged to him about buying Haruhi fancy tuna was priceless.

🌸 And her face, the first time she tried it, was also priceless. You loved to see her happy.

🌸 Haruhi’s love languages are most likely words of affirmation and quality time. She gets tired and stressed after having to deal with the host club, so spending time with you after is always her favorite.

🌸 She loves just sitting around and drinking tea with you, watching movies until you’d fall asleep together.

🌸 She also knew that as a first born lady in a family with status and money that you were self doubtful, so she’d love to share her own personal thoughts of you when you’re in that funk.

🌸Companions Favorite Flowers!🌸

Was talking with @by-the-erdtree in the Discord about which flowers would be the favorites of the companions and wanted to share 💖

Gale

Loves lilies of all kinds. Something about their delicate, slender appearance looks right to him.

He also has a soft spot for lavender as it's soothing smell is something he would have nearby while studying/meditating on his work. (The fact that they're purple is an added bonus)

Shadowheart

It is confirmed by her in-game dialogue that her favorite flowers are night orchids! She likes other orchids as well, but the night variety are her favorite by far.

Astarion

If pressed to give an answer Asterion would say something stereotypical and "romantic" like roses, to match that sultry seductive vibe he has.

The truth is though, he prefers small delicate flowers like bluebell or violets.

Karlach

A lover of super vibrant and bright flowers, he absolute favorite would have to be sunflowers! They're so big and bright and always looking to the sky, she feels a kinship with them. She would love to lay in a field of them and just soak up the sun's rays for an afternoon.

Halsin

Bear papa likes flowers that come from berry bushes, especially blueberries! Such hard working flowers that grow and transform into tasty snacks for traveling through the wilderness, what's not to love?

Lae'zel

Our tough warrior will insist that flowers are beneath her notice, that she would never find beauty in something so useless.

But if you watch her carefully on your journeys, you'll see how she pauses to admire daisys and dandelions growing along the path. Such hardy little plants that grow everywhere, even the city!

Not that she actually finds them appealing, what are you talking about? 🙄

Wyll

Wyll has an appreciation for all different types of wildflowers he's seen during his time on the Frontier.

If he had to pick favorites though, he would admit he has a soft spot for chrysanthemums, which look so plush and vibrant in color, or black eyed susans, especially the ones that have multiple colors going to the center.

The Emperor

In his long lifespan traveling to different worlds, he's seen some pretty incredible things. Off planet, he'd say his favorite flower is one that doesn't have a name in common tongue that grows in various shades of white and blue, with a soft glow about them due to the planet they grow on being one shrouded in darkness often. They are carnivorous flowers.

If he had to chose one from the Forgotten Realms, one that's known to the people of Faerûn, he would pick ones with big fat petals and vibrant colors. His most favorite would be lotus flowers.

Now, this is a Scorpion!Harumi AU... AU! So I'll be using the Scorpion!Harumi Crew and their dynamics as reference to parallel the characters. With that in mind, let's meet the hotel staff!👀

THE PRINCESS, HARUMI SHIRAI:

Harumi is heir to the throne of hell, but she doesn't think much of it. Her focus lately has been solely towards this one thing:

At first glance, Lisa Liang may seem rather scary, but when you get to know her... she's still pretty scary!

But underneath all that anger (obvious unresolved trauma), mean attitude and secrets beats a lovingly and devoted heart!

After being terribly injured during an Extermination, Lisa was rescued by Harumi, and from that day on, Lisa made it her life mission to protect that beautiful soul at all cost, do everything in her power to assure her dreams were fulfilled!

He came to the hotel as a spy, sent to keep an eye on Raiden.

But the "super villain" started to grow a bit too comfortable in the hotel and too accustomed to the compliments.

He got sloppy and was caught embarrassingly fast!

But with a simple sorry spoken straight from his core, he was given a second chance! Not that it will mean much-- H*LY SHIT HE [MAJOR SPOILERS]!!

THE HEAD SERAPHIM, ASHRAH:

Look, she's not evil! Just misguided...

She wants to protect her home and her sister and is willing to do whatever it takes!

But maybe she will calm down once she meets Heaven's newest resident...

THE OTHER SERAPHIM, SAREENA:

You can call her Sareena, Reen, Sa, Ena, whatever!

She's usually very sweet and bubbly, but she's not feeling particularly bubbly at the moment. She's learned some stuff, you know?

Maybe a new friend may help her raise her spirits?

I want to start including Delia in more on my stories, she seems like an interesting character who totally deserves more attention! Plus, I like the idea of her and Raiden bonding as (not elder) gods!

Plus imagine Delia using a big hat like Rosie's to cover her eyes!👀

THE WEAPONS' DEALER, SINDEL:

Fierce mom of two girls who would do whatever it takes to protect them.

We all know I don't need to elaborate

KUAI LIANG'S TWIN, TOMAS VRBADA:

Congratulations to Tomas for being the only one of Kuai's siblings who managed to remain his sibling on this AU, lol!

THE YET TO BE RESIDENT, CYRAX:

As Kuai's friend, I think she would fit as Cherry Bomb! It's not like Cyrax is not familiar with bombs, am I right?👀

Now, there are a couple characters that I'm still figuring out, Adam and Lute for once, have been particularly tricking!

I'm also still pondering The Vees and Lilith...

Regarding who I already choose, I know some of the choices may seem odd (Raiden, Cetrion and Bi-Han most likely) but I had my reasons for them, if you're interested in hearing them, feel free to ask, I'll gladly elaborate!

Also, please, if you have ideas to who may be the other characters, do share! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

A bit of a disclaimer before I wrap this all up!

Crimson Shadow (Bireena) is one of my main ships and is a thing in here, too! So Angel!Bi-Han will date Seraphim!Sareena. But that DOES NOT mean I ship Emily and Sir Pentious! This ship is for the AU ONLY!
