Genre: fluff, angst, 'friends' -» enemies -» lovers (kinda-ish?)

Summary: working in your boss's gym as his secretary, just why did he always have to put up a fight?

Warnings: mentions of food and eating, cursing, Waka is stupid and mean (for now, he has his reasons - please bear with me here) :(

Notes: 1st gen Black Dragons are part of the story hehe and of course, everyone is alive because I'm saying so ~

a/n: I didn't even plan for it to have multiple parts but it felt kinda appropriate to stop it here haha, gotta keep y'all on your toes. Also, why am I doing this to myself? She said she's simping for him and what does she do? Inflict pain on her already shredded and shattered heart lmao. The angst just 'pspspsed' at me and I couldn't escape its grasp.. Anyways, I hope you guys will like it. I was kinda anxious about posting this ngl lol.

..... Friday.....

Friday nights, usually loved by everyone due to the simple fact of being able to rest as soon as one comes home, not the slightest worry about having to get up early the very next morning.

It's easy to assume that you loved Fridays too, right?

Well, you did love them but now that your boss decided to act like a prick, you started to hate them with a burning passion.

You don't even remember how or when it happened, Wakasa just started to act completely different around you. One day really can make a huge difference, huh?

Laying in your bed after another energy draining day at the gym, you got lost in your thoughts. Your boss, who used to be nice to you, understood when you felt sick and didn't come to work or checked in later than usual, the person who made sure to bring you food once he bought himself something, the same man who shared his coffee with you, started to act completely different overnight.

Said man didn't spare you a single glance except for when you really needed something from him and even then, he tried to keep it short and told you to only talk to him if it's work related.

He made you wonder if you did or said something wrong. If you didn't know any better, you would think the two of you have never been friends to begin with.

That's right, you've been friends with him for years and even befriended his own friend group, you guys grew closer and closer and did so many things together just for the man who brought you joy to throw it all away out of nowhere?

Tomorrow would be another one of those Friday's, another one where you wouldn't be able to relax on the weekend because Wakasa decided to keep you more than busy, making you stay right past the ungodly hours.

The man you once considered a very close friend didn't even seem to care about the fact that your mutual friends were just as confused as you were. He didn't tell them his reasons and even went as far as slowly distancing himself from them too.

You remember your most recent conversation with Shinichiro and Benkei - "Y/n, did you find out what's going on with Waka? He has been quite distant with us lately" Shin had questioned you.

"If only I knew, it's as if he changed personalities, he won't even look at me properly when I talk to him and he's become unusually harsh at work"

Benkei hummed at what you had said and added "I also came to notice that and everytime I would ask him what's going on, he would brush me off and tell me to mind my own business and that I should concentrate on training the others"

It was weird and you would lie if you said that it didn't hurt you but you had to be professional at work, this is not about your seemingly private problems.

Were you able to catch up on some sleep? You wished you did, but your never ending thoughts kept you awake and anxious. It didn't feel good and you wished to find out what bothered him.

When you arrived, Wakasa was already there. He looked distressed and tired but his attitude changed the second he saw you enter the gym.

"L/n, I don't know if I haven't made myself clear enough but didn't I tell you yesterday to finish the paperwork on time? I gave you enough time didn't I?"

He doesn't even feel the need for a simple 'good morning', huh? "I finished everything in the evening and put it on your desk Waka, didn't you see it?"

Looking at the boxing gloves embracing his hands, he retorted "First of all, since when do we call each other by our first names at work? And second of all, I texted you to finish the other pile on my desk, you didn't do that, did you? I need you to stay longer today, I need everything finished by 11pm!"

You couldn't believe your ears, you were supposed to meet up with Shin, Takeomi and Benkei for dinner later "Waka, we are supposed to meet up with the boys today, can I by any chance finish this tomorrow when the gym isn't open?"

It didn't even take you one second to see that he wasn't pleased with your answer, the glare he sent your way proving your point. "Do your work properly or I'll have to find someone better than you, do you understand? One more thing, try to call me by my first name again and I'll have you suspended"

With that he left you alone, leaving you and the huge pile of paperwork behind. You don't even understand where all of this came from, did he collect and hide them from you to set you up? This doesn't make any sense.

You've been sat in your office for hours, completely forgetting about the time. You felt so tired, ready to fall asleep but you weren't even halfway done. Sighing frustratedly, you ran your fingers through your hair and decided to take a look at your phone. '4 unread messages from The BD Squad' - your groupchat with your lovely friends.

Shin

"It's past 9pm Y/n, where are you?"

Benkei

"We were supposed to meet at 7pm, even Waka arrived on time, haven't you been at work together? Where are you?"

Takeomi

"Weren't you the one who was all excited to try the new restaurant? Didn't think you'd ditch us"

Benkei

"Do you want us to bring you something? Are you at home?"

You sighed again, it was past 10pm by now and you didn't seem to make it home any time soon. The frustration you felt made you want to scream and then cry. How come Waka met up with them after distancing himself in the first place? Did he want to keep you away from them? Was he fed up with the fact that you were around all the time?

Right when you wanted to text them back, saying that you were busy, Shin called you.

You picked up the phone and were greeted by his voice which was laced with worry "Hey Y/n? You didn't answer us so I decided to call you, are you okay? We're worried about you"

If you didn't feel like crying before, you sure felt like it now "Ah yes I'm okay, I just got some paperwork to finish. I'm so sorry for ditching you guys! I really didn't mean to, I just forgot about the time and then-"

Shin had heard enough and decided to interrupt you for good "Did you eat something yet? Are you hungry? We can come over to your place and bring you some food" he sounded hopeful, knowing fully well that you've been neglecting your needs once again.

"I'm okay, really! I'm still at the gym so there's no need to go over to my place. Again, I'm really sorry that I didn't inform you guys earlier - I'll make it up to you!"

Shin clicked his tongue in response and that's when you heard a second voice in the background "Stop distracting her, she has work to finish". It was Waka's voice, of course it was.

After a small pause on his side Shinichiro spoke up once again, his voice soft "Stay there and don't run away, we'll come and take you home" and with that he hung up abruptly.

It was strange but you couldn't allow yourself to get distracted now, Wakasa had reminded you once again how 'important' it is to finish this.

You must've fallen asleep because when you woke up, you weren't sitting at your office table anymore. You were lying on the sofa in your office with a thin blanket draped over your aching body. "What happened here" you asked yourself rather than anyone else but what you didn't expect was for you to receive an answer which made you shriek in surprise.

"So you're awake, sleepyhead?" It was Shin, accompanied by Benkei. "What are you guys doing here?" You asked as your eyes were still heavy with sleep.

"I told you we would come over to take you home but when we arrived you were fast asleep so we decided to let you relax a little bit - why are you even here at such ungodly hours?"

You pondered a little bit until you decided that enough is enough "Wakasa made me work longer, this has been going on for weeks but today has been the first time he actually got mad at me. Earlier he scolded me how I shouldn't call him by his first name at work and if I did it again, he would get me suspended. When I asked him if I could finish the workload tomorrow because of our plans to meet up for dinner, he told me to do my work properly or he would find someone better than me".

The shock on the both of their faces was more than apparent and it quickly changed into disappointment. They weren't disappointed in you, not in the slightest, but rather in their friend whom they didn't seem to know any longer. Benkei looked at you with sympathy "You should quit - don't get me wrong, I love that you work with us but you shouldn't let him treat you like that".

"Yeah, you should show him what he's going to miss out on - might as well steal you from him and get you to work at my shop. He doesn't seem to be able to show you the appreciation you deserve"

You knew they were right, you knew it but it hurt to even think about. What happened for Wakasa to hate you so much? Did he find out how you feel about him? Is that the reason he's doing all of this? Are you at fault that he's keeping his distance from his friends? You were so deep in thought that you didn't even notice that Shin had moved to embrace you in his arms.

He felt so warm and safe that you let it all out before you could stop yourself. You told them everything, every single thing that has been making your heart ache and they listened intently, not daring to interrupt you in the slightest.

About two hours later you had found yourself at home, well saturated due to Benkei and Shin who threatened to feed you themselves if you didn't eat what they brought you and freshly showered, ready to fall asleep in your cozy bed.

The next morning was pure comfort, it was the first time in a while that you didn't wake up to your ridiculously loud alarm but the warm rays of sunshine glowing on your face instead.

Checking your phone, you saw that you've got 2 messages from Shin but not a single one of your old boss, Wakasa. He really didn't care anymore, did he?

You closed your eyes for a second and recalled the events of yesterday evening - you had told Shinichiro and Benkei everything that has been going on and they got so mad on your behalf that they started to write your letter of resignation themselves.

When they were done, they made you read it and asked for your approval to put it on Wakasa's table, his office was next to yours after all.

There was no way he didn't see or read it yet, both men made sure to write the letters as bold as possible. But that's okay, you thought, it's not like you could force him to interact with you any longer, you parted ways and now you're nothing but strangers again.

The once lovely stranger who took you and your heart for granted. The stranger who once called himself your friend, who made you feel strange things for him. Versatile, is what you would call the feelings you harbored for him, such strong but strange strange feelings bubbling up in your heart.

With chaos in mind you got up and made your way to your bathroom, wanting to get fresh and ready for the day. What you didn't expect was for your doorbell to ring - someone really has one kind of a timing. You didn't even expect anyone nor had you made any plans so who was it?

Whoever was at the door definitely owed you one, they interrupted your chance of emptying your bladder. Right as you made your way to the front door to look through the peephole it had knocked two times, effectively making you jump.

Finally checking who it was, you spotted Shinichiro with a bag in his hand. With the corners of your mouth betraying you, you invited him in, your smile surprisingly bright "I didn't expect to see you, what brings you here?"

Looking at you comically, he retorted "My motorcycle, what else?" You watched him intently, judging him for what he just said but couldn't stop the giggles escaping your lips.

"Did you just fall for me?"

You scoffed, your smile not fading in the slightest "Keep dreaming pretty boy, I was laughing at you". Said man feigned a shocked expression and gave you a light push into the direction of your bathroom, shaking the bag in his other hand in the process "Get ready sleepyhead, your personal delivery man brought lunch and he wants to eat it warm".

how much of the truck do you think Rhett has replaced over the years? (maybe the better question is what hasnt been replaced at this point) like do you think hes completely rebuilt the transmission and engine? is there a point that he will give up on it? or do you think hes the person that will say that as long as the seat is the same one its the same truck? cuz it isnt going to last forever because that truck is how old and its also been a farm truck all its life. regardless of what state we are all living in now its safe to say that the Wyoming winters have taken a toll on the truck in the form of rust and wear and tear. if he rusts through the frame (a death sentence for vehicles) will he buy the same make in model that has had an easier life and just take his transmission and engine (he just put those in less than 80,000 miles ago god danmit!!) out and put it into the one with the good frame. i think if he ever does throw the towel in on the truck hes going to keep the seat and put it in his room in the house because theres too many memories on that seat for the thruple

I am so happy that someone is asking me about the trucks because I have put so much unnecessary thought and work into them. But Rhett's truck... Jesus Christ, it is the bane of my existence. I cannot figure out what year it is, and it's been driving me up the wall, but I'll admit I've been using this sale listing as a reference.

I'm in trouble if this truck ever sells.

That old truck has close to 225,000 miles on it at this point; it's practically gone everywhere, and for some damn reason, it's still alive and kicking. Had about 100,000 miles when Rhett bought it, and he's driven it to all hell ever since.

He's replaced the front and rear wheel hubs three times now. Had to put in new ball joints, and rust essentially forced him to replace the transmission, fuel, and brake lines after a couple of years. Shortly after that, the transmission failed and forced Rhett to gather a few buddies to help him rebuild it. But it's been a lot of small fixes here and there, the forgettable things that take an afternoon, and that's it.

The old truck was built to last, and even though nobody is 100% sure where it spent its early years, it's been well taken care of. If there's an odd noise or it starts to act out of character, the problem is located and found within the week. It's always best to fix the issue when its small, rather than wait until it gets worse.

Trucks last on the Abbott ranch. Royal's vehicle is older than Rhett's, and it's still alive and kicking! I haven't done a ton of research into what Royal drives, but I think it's an '80s GMC C/K Sierra Classic.

Honorary comparisons.

Nifty how Rhett and his Dad both seem to have Sierra's, lmao.

Regardless, it's an old truck. If Royal's truck can make it, so can Rhett's

Unless it becomes a money pit that can't stand to run for more than a few hours at a time, then Rhett's going to be hanging onto it. He could replace the whole vehicle over the course of time and still believe it's the exact same truck. But if it does fail, he'd likely go with another older-model truck with a bench seat. Maybe not the same make and model, but he'd be happy to bring home another in a different color.

As of the "current time" in the story, the Sierra is living herself a nice little life in the garage. Her Pavement Princess era, if you want me to start sounding cripplingly Gen-Z. Rhett's new work requires a lot of trailer pulling and things that the Sierra just couldn't keep up with, which means a new truck!

In Whispers In The Dark, I vaguely hinted that Rhett left the Sierra in Wyoming for a period of time because he'd bought a new truck after moving out.

This was the truck!

A 2019 Ford F-350 that I picked out back in February and simply never mentioned to anyone 😭 it never made sense to mention the exact make and model, so it got reduced to "Rhett's other truck."

After the Sierra comes home, she gets to become the official date night vehicle, alongside Bob's. It's her only job now!

I haven't mentioned a ton about Bob's truck, but since we're already on the topic, he's got a 2021 Toyota Tundra in the color Midnight Black Metallic. I exclusively picked this truck for him because some models come with a front-row bench seat.

Who would have thought that I'd have so much truck lore 🧍‍♂️

DAY 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 OF 90 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY

I'm very sorry I didnt update for so long I just felt tired/sleepy/too down to post.

Day 23/90 (11th october 2023 wednesday)

GEN PHYSICS MIDSEM

Honestly, I could've said it went well. But then, the worst thing happened.

I forgot the formulas.

I had read the questions and thought to myself "I can do these" but by the time i was done attempting the first question, I had lost everything from my mind.

I slept late because Iwas trying to explain a bio chapter to my friend. I wasn't able to complete the explanation though. I felt too sleepy and absolutely wasn't able to stay awake any longer.

After the exam, I didn't wait for my friends and just went to my room alone. A while later at around 4 30 I went to the mess for snacks with music on my headphones. This really annoying girl wished me (she knows she's annoying. she irritates me on purpose.) and I said hello and sat with her but didn't take the music off. After that, I called my mother and ranted to her about how I felt like there was no meaning to my existence because Ibasically don't know how to do anything and how i have zerothings that im talented at. She tried telling me that everyone has their own strengths andweaknesses and taht the "inner me" was much more stronger than what i think of her to be, and other such things. She told me to never let such thoughts to get to me. I was sitting in the edge of the football field in tears lmao. Anyways, a. little later the mood lightened up a bit and I told her that I was listening to devotional songs and she got really surprised xD

Day 24/90 (12th October 2023 Thursday)

GEN BIO MIDSEM)

Honestly, I think the exam went "okay" because I didn't prepare much.

I don't really remember what I did for the rest of the day but I think washing clothes was one of those.

Day 25/90 (13th October 2023 Friday)

TRW MIDSEM

Phew. I mean TRW isn't that hard but it's like, basically English and a little confusing? I think TRW went fine. The first part (objective questions) was very confusing but the later part was better. I kinda struggled with the personal statement that we had to write though.

For the rest of the day I was watching EG lectures on youtube. I felt very tired by around 12.

Day 26/90 (14th October 2023 Saturday)

EG MIDSEM

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. We heard gossip from other batches that the highest anyone got for the exam was 50 (out of 60). I got a 22 out of 60 :/ I mean people were thinking that 22 is pretty good but I didn't feel like that anyways. I need way more practice in EG. I was done with my exam by 3.

My exam didn't go so well but I gave myself a treat anyways. I bought some really spicy maggi and some litchi juice and had all those while watching some bl drama. I left for home too. I had a huge pile of laundry and it was hard carrying it around. I managed to get home by around 8 pm anyways (despite my dead shoulders). At home, it was just the usual. I watched a bit of "Dil Dhadakne Do" before sleeping.

Day 27/90 (15th October 2023 Sunday)

It was a pretty chill day at home. I did a bit of math. I also went shopping with my mother to get some things for hostel (snacks, basically). I also completed watching "Dil Dhadakne Do" and before sleeping, I watched a bit of "Captain America: The First Avenger" :p

1. What originally drew me to it

I feel like I probably had heard of resi in gaming circles before, but never paid attention because there was no way I'd be allowed to play it in the house while I was a teen so I didn't bother. BUT I remember when re7 was coming out, and it was the first time I'd seen a AAA horror game made with the intention for VR. It was just very interesting to me, and a lot of the gaming channels I watched played the first couple of sections, but never enough to give the full story LMAO. After that tho, I had a background interest in resi and was waiting until I moved out to start playing. Then I remember when re2make was coming out, and it looked SO COOL. I definitely wanted to play that one, a bit more than 7 if I'm being honest lol, but the only current gen console I had was a switch and I don't think the resi ports were out on it at that time (and fuck playing it on the switch!) So I saved up for a ps4 during the pandemic, managed to get the last one in stock and slowly bought all the resi games and played during my uni break. IT WAS SOOOO MUCH FUN and even though 7 isn't necessarily my favourite (and I'm not buying vr lol) it was super fun and felt satisfying when I got up to it when playing (mostly) in order.

Once I started playing, the draw was, and continues to be, that it has certain mood and aura that comes from it being a survival horror, and that I really enjoy the simple and cheesey plots (of the early games in particular!) It's a great time and I'm looking forward to replaying everything soon

2. What I like most and least about it

What I like most is the early numbered titles, the setting of raccoon city having the ever looming umbrella hanging over them and trying to figure out what the hell lurks underneath the surface is super compelling and I enjoy how it both takes itself seriously and is pretty goofy. The characters are all pretty great across the series and because it's been such a long franchise, even if I don't love every entry, it's SUPER fascinating to see how much the series has changed and evolved, and how that ties into certain trends and interesting historical points for gaming as a whole.

What I like least is how sloppy the story gets as it goes on and how they do not handle their main protags very well, ESPECIALLY THE LADIES. Once umbrella fell, the over arcing story has been such a mess cause it lacks the focus that 'umbrella in raccoon city' gave the story. And you can see that they kinda know this and the absence of umbrella is clearly felt cause they keep making up stuff to either stand in as a new umbrella type antagonistic force, or make up stuff to link back to umbrella in incredibly convoluted ways. I think the downfall plot wise actually started with re4, but 4 was such a campy and fun game that it didn't matter to most people so it was kind of an exception (myself in included) but because it couldn't be replicated in whatever went down in 5&6, THAT'S when people generally started to notice. These games can be so messy as they go on and I personally feel that if the game feels like it's punishing you for paying attention or deliberately crafting gotcha moments to give a plot twist that's only a shock in that moment, not anything that's actually a satisfying twist, that it's dumb and bad!! There's still things to like in the entries I don't really like that much, but it's clear to me that the Devs felt lost without a clear looming threat like umbrella, and that they don't know what to do with their main characters and either push them aside or just absolutely butcher them on screen. Leon is one of the only exceptions but even then....lol. and let's not talk about the screen adaptations LMAO

Because people have asked, here's part 1 (of idk how many) of my houseplant tour! Also an accidental bookshelf tour because I also own a lot of books and don't technically have space enough for any of them lmao.

I promise I actually watered my christmas tree like an hour ago.

I also know I need to take the dodgy looking leaves off of my plants at some point but eeehhhhh. Can't be bothered. Although I did take some yellowing leaves off of the monkey mask monstera while saying “let’s take these off of you, gotta make you look pretty for your photos”, so that’s the ‘do you talk to your plants’ question answered I guess. And dw, the white stuff on the container of that plant is just calcification, not any kind of fungus.

anyway my space/scifi shelf has 3 plants, and all 3 are ones I struggle with lmao. I’m very bad with orchids, this one only looks good because it’s the newest addition to the collection (only got it maybe 6 weeks ago). The other two alternate between looking okay and looking..dodgy. I did just water them, so mayeb they’ll come back a bit now, idk.

The big monstera deliciosa next to my bed seems to be perfectly happy, it regularly grows new leaves, and I really have to cut it back at some point before it tries to eat me in my sleep.

the plant on my murder shelf is also just. fine. lmao. it sometimes droops a bit during the day but then revives completely at night and I’m just ???? ok you do you boo.

the spider plant on top of my main book is a 3rd? 4th? gen plant. I bought one of these years ago, it did great, it had lots of babies that I then put into soil and gave away to family and friends or just kept growing myself. Then those had babies, and I don’t really know anymore at what generation I am. unfortunately this one is the last survivor, and it’s not in the best place it could be for it to really thrive, but I also didn’t really know where else to put it without it taking over my entire window sill like it’s parents/grandparents did, so.

How long have you been a fan? Until I was 17, I thought they were good but just not my style, I was much more into punk music!

Favorite Beatle: John, but I adore Paul and George too. John’s just my boy, you know?

Favorite era for music: I’d have to pick mid-to-late Beatles even though I love their early stuff too! In terms of personality, I prefer the early stuff; for the music, the later stuff.

Favorite era for lewks: Teddy boy Beatles, for sure! But I’m a big fan of the moptops and basically 1966 as a whole.

Favorite song: Hey Jude just puts me on another spiritual plane, honestly. But Dear Prudence is a very close second!

Favorite album: Abbey Road. One of my old teachers used to say that Hamlet is as close as you can come to the “perfect” play, I feel that way about albums and Abbey Road. White Album and Rubber Soul are two and three!

Unpopular/Controversial Beatles opinion: They were all bastards! I love them but there’s not a single one of them without a story that makes me cringe.

A song everyone loves but you dislike: I don’t care for The Long and Winding Road, at least the Spector mix. It’s way too sentimental! The stripped version is a lot better. I also don’t really like Imagine.

A song everyone dislikes but you love: Why does everyone hate Wild Honey Pie?? I think it’s such a cute, funny little filler piece.

Your fantasy involving The Beatles: I own a bookstore in Hamburg and become friends with all the Beatles and the Exis. They think I’m super smart and cool, and I get to help them come to terms with their sexual identities, treat women and marginalized communities better, and turn them onto weed before Dylan does, lol.

Tell us about the moment you knew you were a fan: When I heard the Anthology version of “And Your Bird Can Sing” (I don’t know, lmao)

Did you ever have a genuine ‘The Beatles suck!’ phase before becoming a fan? Not really, but the first time I listened to the White Album, the vibes coming from it freaked me out so much that I didn’t listen to it all the way through for years afterward.

Favorite Beatles book: Probably Pete Shotton’s book! I love Mike’s books too, he’s such a funny guy... In terms of more academic titles, I really loved Steven Stark’s book and “You Never Give Me Your Money” by Peter Doggett.

Thoughts on the old generation of fans: I haven’t had much interaction with the older gen(s) but I find the men mostly insufferable. There was this older dude who came into the record store all the time (he bought EVERY single edition of Paul’s last album), and he actively made every Beatles fan who worked there like the band a little less.

If Hollywood were to make a high budget Beatles biopic, what is one thing you desperately hope they include? I don’t like biopics, I hope they don’t make one! If they do, it better just be about John and Paul boning for 90 minutes.

Do you read/write fanfic?: You’re on this blog, so you know this!

Are you the only one in your family/friend group to enjoy them?: My family and a number of my friends like them, but yeah, I like them the most.

Do you believe in McLennon?: I’m like 98% positive it’s real

General opinions on McLennon?: I think they were a couple, and if they weren’t, then I think it was because of the general opinion of same-sex couples at the time and fear for their reputation. I hope it was real, but I think I could keep myself together if it wasn’t. It just makes me want to die when shippers ask these kinds of questions to their families though! God, please do NOT.

If you got to change ONE thing about their history, what would it be and why?: Brian shouldn’t have died... But if I had to chose something smaller, then there should have been more of George’s songs on the White Album.

What song has the best vocals?: Christ, I can’t even choose a top 10...

What song do you feel had no effort put into it?: More of their earlier stuff, particularly on Beatles for Sale, but Eight Days a Week really sticks out to me, even though I like that one a lot. It makes me think of that quote, “Let’s sit down and write ourselves a swimming pool!”

What is a well talked about moment in Beatles history you genuinely believe to be false?: When John met Yoko at that art show... We know that’s not real, lol.

What is something you KNOW to be true, but often gets erased in their history?: John and Paul’s whole dynamic, I feel like a lot of people just don’t get it

Wow I rambled a lot with this but i can't add cuts bc I'm on mobile rn DHSISHSJ sorry :"))))

1. Ik Ik "haha how cringe are you" of me to say, but honestly? Homestuck. Homestuck helped me in a time of need and when i so desperately wanted something to latch onto. Finally, I caved into my friends telling me to read it-- and it's been a blast!! The epilogues / hs^2 make me feel kinda sad though, because so much of what I loved about the original was yeeted through the nine circles of hell and into the trash. I love Y/ffany's (I call her Yippi tho) design, the art is really pretty at times, Harry is a major dork, I LIVE for seeing Vrissy bc honestly?? Her design is 10/10, very early 2000s emo style and I also live for that. Tavros is cute and a nerd and I think that's swell!

But in terms of story and how any of this happens, it makes me sad to see it happen. If Vriska could return as Vrissy, why not OTHER beta trolls? Where's my Eridan fish man, writers?? Give me the boy or perish by my fury.

2. Also super "haha how cringe are you" but,,, murder cats (Warriors), esp the early 2005-2015 amvs and stuff. I remember watching Flightfootwarrior's "I Will Not Bow" Scourge amv for HOurs and having no clue what was happening, but all these edgy kitties were KITTIES! It's introduced me to a lot of music I still listen to to this very day (Imagine Dragons, Young/the entirety of Hollywood Undead, Breaking Benjamin). And yknow what?? This new arc is absolute chaos, but in the good way.

I'm an "OG Fan". I prefer the first arc, The Prophecies Begin, to almost any of the other arcs. I just could never get into the other arcs-- not to say I haven't read them, I HAVE and the Fire Scene was probably one of my favorite moments beside grumpy Jaypaw, god complex Lionblaze, and fear the gods Hollypaw. I thought the build-up for it was SUPER satisfying. Gray Wing is my baby and I fully embellish in the Gray Wing is Silverpelt theory.

This new arc is definitely something new for the universe. While I didn't read aVoS (but I may do that if i can find the files for it), and so I don't know the major events of it other than what I've seen M.A.P.'s (Multi-Animator Projects, for clarification,,, bc unfortunately that term is also something disgusting). There's fucking cat possession and all the Clans questioning their belief system, yo. Shit be on fire.

Also the Imposter is 100% Ashfur, that's canon now, yeah??? Also im sorry but fuck Root x Bristle that's the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Give me Root x Shadow or face the wrath of my dragon plushies.

3. As much as I hate the author,,,,, Harry Potter. It's been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can never really remember why, but I've always just loved it- the movies, the books, the extra little merch that would pop up in my local Walmart. Of course my favorite character is Draco Malfoy. I could go on and on and ON about how I think his character arc was SHIT and JKR didn't have the balls to make him a confident gay man that was always implied through the text (at least, my lesbian ass thought it was implied but i may just be projecting, idk). I could ramble about Draco for HOURS and what I think his character SHOULD have been and how his parents are horrible (more specifically, Lucius bc Narcissa [?] Actually showed a few good moments), and a child should never have to pay for their parents sins.

Oh noo, Draco's a villain because he's a victim of major abuse and peer pressure? He's a villain because a literal child can be horrible and they'll always always always stay as a horrible little fiend?? Fuck that. He's a child.

Unlike manchild grease pan Snape, who was a racist piece of shit and shouldn't have became a fucking school teacher but it's okay because he was ~~~in love~~~. No, fuck you, he was a creep. James Potter n Co may have been a little posh bitch to you, Snape, but that's no fucking excuse to continue to bluntly be a little cunt all the way into adulthood. You're an adult who flatly changed your PATRONUS to imitate Lily's. You have no excuse. And Harry went and named his child after you LIKE JESUS CHRIST, DID RON'S SISTER NOT HAVE A SAY IN THE NAMES TOO?????

I also fully adore the idea that Muggles can run into Hogwarts and their patronus can 100% be a made up, fantasy creature. Imagine you learn the patronus spell and suddenly fucking ARCEUS comes from your wand. Imagine learning the spell and CHTULU (i did not spell that right but im so tired) comes from your wand-- an entire ass fucking Lovecraftian, Eldrith horror is just the embodiment of you. What if it was a fucking Homestuck character like Vriska? How fucking METAL would that be?? Hskajssowjjsjs get on it fandom.

4. Hee hee very evident by my url but Pokemon is another major thing of mine. While vespiquen isn't my favorite (that title goes to Hydreigon), it is definitely up there!

I've ALWAYS enjoyed the idea of Pokemon. You run around, training up these fight monsters and collecting them. I remember playing my sister's Ruby version on her flip-up Gameboy. I couldn't even read but I ran around catching god only knows how many of the same pokemon wherever she was. Apparently, I had fought for hours in the same area and leveled her Blaziken up to lvl 50 something and left her lvl 30s in the dust LMAO.

I got my first game when it was Pearl/Diamond. It was Pearl, and it still holds a very fond place in my heart. I could barely read, I could barely write-- I had named my Turtwig something along the lines of "MmorpHy" and my player boy "ZbsibJ". Yes I remember the names slightly. I really didn't get far-- I barely got to the first gym but I was just so happy to play it.

I eventually lost the game, as a 5 year old would do, but I can still vividly remember what was happening when the game arrived. I had just came back from the dentist and was quite tired from fighting the dentist bc I was super scared. Mom suddenly handed me a box and said it was mine-- my overseas (at that time) dad had bought me Pearl and my sister Diamond, because I lost my shit about it when he visited one time.

Well, tdlr, I played it for about five minutes while struggling to stay awake against the loopy gas they made me take. I fell asleep listening to Twinleaf Town's soundtrack. Every time I play a rom of Pearl and I get to where the player's house fades in and I hear that first tune of the song, I get a huge smile on my face and cry-- as.. Weird as it sounds.

A few years later, I had gotten Pokemon Black bc I liked Reshiram on the cover. Now, this one I could actually READ when playing, but I don't remember a lot of things about it. I probably lost this one too, as a 8/9 year old would do. I DO remember, I chose Snivy and my sister chose Tepig (hrmm there's a theme here of grass/fire goin on......) and vibing to the music. I was so amazed by the sprites moving, I just kept getting into encounters to see the sprites move (oh boy, no one tell younger 7-9 y/o me about Zelda......oh wait....)

Playing Pokemon NOW, as a 17 year old """gifted""" chick, I stil have very fond memories. I recently beat Pokemon Black again and GOD the OTS SLAPS. I fucking adore the soundtrack-- the track that plays when you battle a trainer, the low health dings being turned into a legit song that also slaps, the battle! gym leader themes-- and oh my gOd, the legendary theme is amazing? It really tells you just how glorious these pokemon are supposed to be. It's not intimidating like Groudon/Kyroge/Rayquaza's themes. It's not action packed like Palkia/Dialga's is, it's not filled with tension like Giratina/Arceus's is-- but it radiates the GLORY that the beasts portray. And I live for that. (Also, Kyurem's version is my favorite because it glitches in the beginning and that's rly cool)

P/D/P and BW/BW2's stories, imo, are some of the greatest ones. Yeahhh, US/USUM's is cool and I haven't played XY nor SwSh-- but the ones I can find memorable are PDP and BW/BW2. I love N. I love Barry. They're my sons. Ghetsis is fucking terrifying, Cyrus needs a hug. Giratina scared the piss out of me when I was younger, which was NOT helped by Giratina and The Sky Warrior.

I think my favorite movies are the gen 4 ones. The Rise of Darkrai having a tear-jerking theme for such a mysterious pokemon (i still tear up when i hear Ocarion), Giratina being spiteful is a mood and Shaymin was cute, Arceus being angry is also a mood. Yeah, Pokemon 4Ever made me cry my eyes out over Celebi, Mewtwo Returns made me again cry because Mewtwo accepting who he is, I remember how vastly different the BW movies are-

I just. I have a lot of memories with the series, even if Gamefreak and Nintendo kinda do the series dirty a lot (your top-grossing thing and you made That monstrosity for the Switch? How dare you.). It's comforting to be stressed and pull up my roms for the games and to play them. Mystery Dungeon is incredibly fun to play, Pokemon Ranger is really fun with the concept (Shadows of Almia continues to kick my ass to this very day and FUCK the Jungle Relic, I hate the Water Challenge fucking gyarados bullshit). I remember the pokemon I got for MD (I got Time, my sis got Darkness) was Mudkip, if that is any help.

I love my little fictional pixel monsters.

5. Yup, someone told tiny 7-9 y/o me about console games. The legend of Zelda. My first Zelda game was Twilight Princess on the Wii and BOY did I play the fucking SHIT out of that game.

Honestly, looking back and looking at playthroughs now-- I still love TP. Twilight Princess is still one of my top favorite Zelda games-- yes, even after playing OoT, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, the anniversary four swords edition for the DS where you could play by yourself (Nintendo pls bring that back, I don't have friends to play it with ;-;), Phantom Hourglass- ect.

Something about Twilight Princess grabbed me by the head and yeeted me into the world. I can remember playing it for hours with little to no breaks. I, a tiny 9 y/o, had gotten the hang of the controllers and managed to get past the tutorial quite easily. And then, I was launched into the game and I wasn't stopping for NOTHING. Mom and Dad would have to force me to save and get off to go and eat dinner. THAT sucked.

I had done everything on my own up until the first temple, the forest temple. Not where/when you saved the dumb kid, but when you were saving the spirit's light. Theeeeeeennn I got stuck on the fucking Forest Temple for deadass six months straight. I'd play for hours, running around in circles, unable to figure out where to go, and because I didn't grasp the temple's purpose of being that way- I'd get angry and get off. It wasn't until dad looked up a walkthrough and talked me through what I was supposed to do that I learned how to get through temples.

I had gotten to the last little fight with Ganondorf before the Wii broke and i could no longer play. Despite the Wii being broke and we got rid of it, I was ADAMANT on keeping the game, and I kept that game for YEARS. It was an original copy out of a sealed box, and I eventually lost it when I left it accidentally at my now ex-friend's house.

She had a Wii and I went "hey I have a Wii game!" And I brought my Zelda over. Worst fucking choice of my goddamn life. Mom called me to come home and said I couldn't sleep over like the original plan was, and that was it. My ex-friend stashed my Zelda and I never saw it again. And, even if I wanted to-- I couldn't get it back, which makes me upset. We had a BAD falling out. She likely doesn't even remember it's there, or sold it to the local game junkie kid who buys ALL games.

But I still love the game. Midna was amazing, and I loved how snarky she was and she has a very cute design! The game's OST is fucking phenomenal. Midna's Desperate Hour makes me cry bc goddamn it really sells how serious that situation is. I love Hyrule Field's theme in this game. I love the Twilight Realm's song. Zant was fucking hilariously scary. Ganondorf's design in this game scared the piss out of me when I was younger.

Midna and this game's Link and Zelda are def my favorites. Yeah yeah, Sheik is cool and all I Guess but dhsushwishs Midna holds the special place in my heart. She was totally my gay awakening BUT

For other game antagonists, I adore Ghirahim-- let's go you funky little queer-coded villain. Skull Kid was great, I love the entire dynamic of him. Prankster lost soul stumbles upon Majora's Mask and the mask makes him act out due to powers-- which, I actually took very heavy inspiration from for one of my OCs. The moon falling to Hyrule was a fucking terrifying looming threat.

But the game series holds a place, and I've yet to be able to play BoTW-- although, I'm fairly certain I'll like it. The playthroughs I've watched of it are all fairly decent! I just. Gotta save up enough money to buy it haha.

Dang guess I gotta go watch a Twilight Princess playthrough again.

What was the most unsettling film you’ve seen? Unsettling films are my jam, man. To name a few, there’s Eraserhead, Room, Midsommar, Eyes Wide Shut, Misery, and most recently, I’m Thinking of Ending Things. Eraserhead takes the cake though. That movie always makes me queasy...

What unethical experiment would have the biggest positive impact on society as a whole? I’m a firm believer in nothing good ever comes out of unethical practices. I’ll never forget reading about an experiment where a group of newborn babies were given basic needs like food and being bathed, but weren’t shown any affection whatsoever and it was meant to see if humans can survive with just the most basic physiological needs. By the end of the experiment period half of the babies were dead. The results were honestly a lot bleaker than how I’ve put it, but I don’t wanna be a downer lol. Suffice it to say that experiment haunted me for days after reading it.

When was the last time you were snooping, and found something you wish you hadn’t? It was around a week or so ago, I’m pretty sure.

Which celebrity or band has the worst fan base? My sister is into K-pop and I hear insights from her all the time, but her one constant is that BTS breeds the most annoying, toxic fans. I’d have to agree. Ariana Grande’s fandom was also annoying at one point, but I haven’t heard much from them making a mess these days.

What are you interested in that most people aren’t? Autobiographies.

If you were given a PhD degree, but had no more knowledge of the subject of the degree besides what you have now, what degree would you want to be given to you? Why would I deserve a PhD on something I’m clearly not qualified for...I’m not sure I’m following this question right, but I don’t feel like thinking too hard about it.

What smartphone feature would you actually be excited for a company to implement? I’m happy with the features that are widespread now, but I wish companies adhere more to countries other than the common ones like US, UK, Australia, etc. I always see ads about phones being able to tell you how much movie tickets cost or track boarding passes, but those are all irrelevant here. It makes a lot of Apple’s basic apps useless on this side of the world haha.

What’s something people don’t worry about but really should? Long-term effects of poor habits like not getting enough sleep or drinking too many cups of coffee. I know because I’m guilty of this.

What movie quotes do you use on a regular basis? “I won’t think about that now, I’ll think about it tomorrow,” but I usually say it to myself, especially when I feel stressed.

Do you think that children born today will have better or worse lives than their parents? Better, but idk if that’s just me being biased because my generation will be the next parents lol. I just think that a lot of Gen X parents still have a lot of dated prejudices and mindsets that my generation was able to learn better from. What’s the funniest actual name you’ve heard of someone having? It’s more stupid than funny and I know I’ve already mentioned this before, but Covid Bryant as a first and second name still takes the cake for me. My sister went to school with a girl whose name is just her surname backwards, and for a time I was really weirded out by it. But in the times I’ve seen her she really owns her name and never looks bothered by it, so I quickly stopped caring.

Which charity or charitable cause is most deserving of money? For me it would have to be organizations for animal welfare.

What TV show character would it be the most fun to change places with for a week? Post-El Camino Jesse Pinkman. I wouldn’t want to live through his chaotic shit from Breaking Bad, but his fate after El Camino is something I’m super envious of.

What was cool when you were young but isn’t cool now? Flip phones, Blackberry phones, Roshes, Frappuccinos.

If you were moving to another country, but could only pack one carry-on sized bag, what would you pack? Phone, laptop, their chargers, important IDs, some of my favorite tops and jeans, underwear, essential toiletries, wallet, a family photo, a journal and pen, earphones, certain knickknacks to remember Gab and my dogs by. Minus the clothes, all of these are pretty tiny so I think these would all fit in the bag just fine.

There was a lot of animosity and tension between them and I caught the lady silently break into tears a few times. I never overheard anything but then again they sat in silence for hours until the lady finally walked out on him. Never knew what it was about but I’ve always guessed that the man did something crappy, like cheat, and was discovered. It was a really sad sight and a crazy situation to witness and I think I felt even more sorry because they were obviously in their 50s or 60s. I hope the woman is in a better place now as she looked rough as fuck that evening.

What’s the hardest you’ve ever worked? I wore a lot of hats when I was in my college org, and that was on top of balancing my acads as well.

What movie, picture, or video always makes you laugh no matter how often you watch it? That scene from Friends where Ross plays the keyboard for Chandler, Phoebe, Monica, and Rachel.

What artist or band do you always recommend when someone asks for a music recommendation? It depends on what music they’re into and if I have actually have a recommendation in mind for them. I obviously can’t suggest Paramore to someone who mainly listens to metal.

If you could have an all-expenses paid trip to see any famous world monument, which monument would you choose? I’m down for any monuments that are super ancient like Stonehenge or the Pyramids of Giza.

If animals could talk, which animal would be the most annoying? I’d go with frogs, but only because they get annoyingly loud in the evening.

What’s the most addicted to a game you’ve ever been? Playing The Sims, Mario Kart, Rock Band, or games in the Burnout franchise.

What’s the coldest you’ve ever been? Japan was so fucking cold when I was there. Didn’t do my research and ended up being dressed poorly, and I was so cold I could barely talk to my parents or fully enjoy my time. Sagada was also nearly unbearable in the early morning.

Which protagonist from a book or movie would make the worst roommate? Not from a book or movie, but BoJack Horseman. Diane can also be in the running as I always found her too whiny. I get that she had her personal shit to deal with, but I don’t think living with her would be good for my own sanity and mental health.

Do you eat food that’s past its expiration date if it still smells and looks fine? It annoys my chef dad to death that I don’t lol. No matter how great it looks, I’d bounce. I once ate expired Kit Kats that tasted like cardboard and that scared me off of expired food forever.

What’s the most ridiculous thing you have bought? I once bought a stupid novelty soap that to this day I’ve never even opened. It’s in one of my drawers, and I plan to just throw it out at some point.

What’s the funniest comedy skit you’ve seen? Not a fan of these but one that got to me is Dear Sister from SNL.

What’s the most depressing meal you’ve eaten? A few years ago there was a local breakfast place that offered red velvet pancakes for a limited time and I was all over that crap, so I went and ordered. The actual pancakes ended up not being any bigger than my palm, and I remember not being able to hide my disappointment once the server placed the dish on my table haha. I felt so scammed. I had to order something else to feel full, because those pancakes were stupidly small.

What tips or tricks have you picked up from your job/jobs? One of my superiors, when she was presenting a pitch to our director yesterday, kept asking questions and picking at the director’s brain so that she can get suggestions and answers straight from the director herself and so that she didn’t have to do any brainstorming anymore. I thought that was a pretty nifty and clever hack.

What outdoor activity haven’t you tried, but would like to? Hiking a mountain!

Okay, several reasons!! 1) I don’t play much since I spend my time making cc for the hungry masses (jk - i have a very bad sense of humour. Sorry! [with a french accent lol]) But I don’t therefore I don’t see the point in buying such an expensive pack if I’m not gonna enjoy it and use it! 2) I don’t want it - sure the cas i alright (though as you’ve probably guessed I’m not that into casual clothes). But as you mention yourself I think it’s quite American! The whole system is VERY different from what it’s like in Europe and frankly I don’t understand it and I think it’s kinda stupid and weird. For instance we don’t have dormhouses (that is the weirdest) in Denmark. Either you live in a small apartment or with your parents. The party culture isn’t as big here as it is in the pack and I think the whole concept of going to university “to have the best time of your life”-thing is so stupid....(this is going in a rant direction lol)...for me it’s hard work and I’ll be fucking thrilled for the rest of my life after - actually being able to work! When I start studying I’ll have exams every 3 months I’ll be fucking dead. So the sentiment that the whole pack brings “young people have it easy, university is easy, real life is haaaard.” just annoys the shit out of me. I may have misinterpreted it but damn it it annoys me. My older cousin said to me the other day. “Enjoy it while it lasts, when you’re studying there’ll be no more Christmases”. (not that I’m not a complete Scrooge lol) So I just don’t want that whole thing in my game - I actually kinda liked the time where you didn’t have to have an education for every single little thing. SO the bottom line is: I hate that they’re making university out to be about partying, and downplaying how serious it is for some people. I hate how stereotypical American it is. Just as I hated how stereotypical European, Windenburg is. WHY do they need to make so many freaking stereotypes?? AND I don’t wanna spend money, when I KNOW I’m not actually gonna play it. I’ve never even gone beyond 2 gens lmao. The curse of the cc-creator is basically not being able to play - at least for me lol. Did that answer your questions? xD

160219: skam italia x gay center event (part 1)

it’s going to be really hard for me to recap everything that happened yesterday, so i’m going to split this in two parts: one dedicated to the conference and one to the moment when we actually met them and took pictures etc. i’m sure all the things i’m going to report were already said yesterday in tweets and stuff but i wanted to have a place to write them all down cause my memory is so bad. warning: this got long.

the conference

first of all, kudos to the gay center’s staff. so many people came they couldn’t fit them all in the conference room, so they decided to have a second shorter session so that no one would go home disappointed. they also said that afterwards we’d be able to take selfies and meet pietro, rocco and federico

spoiler alert: pietro, rocco and federico are literal angels. so sweet, funny, honest, humble, intelligent and well-spoken. ludovico bessegato is confident, smart and a savage. he dragged the whole fandom and yet we still love him cause he’s a genius

as soon as ludovico stepped on stage he made it clear that this was not an event about skam only and to please respect that. he said that they wouldn’t talk about season 3 and not to ask about it, and that’s why no info came out

the conference started with a presentation of the gay center. their representative introduced the work they do with the gay help line and talked about really heartbreaking cases of lgbt youth (12 and 14 year olds) who called to report violence from their own families. it was really hard to hear. they showed statistics of discrimination in italy and other data. their point was that skam s2 shows a positive reality where martino is able to come out to his friends and live his truth and his love, but unfortunately we have to be aware that these terrible realities exist too, especially in this country

the skam section started with a question to ludovico about his choice to include the voice messages in the first scene of s2. we watched that scene. he said he knew he wanted to do it from the start but recording and adding the voice messages was the last thing they did, one week before the release of the first clip. he came to the gay center in rome and met the young people and recorded the messages with them (i’m sorry, i’m not sure this is accurate) and he was moved to tears. that’s when he realized how important what they were doing with this season was. he said it was important for him, before showing the easiness of two people who can be together without external hardships, to start the season with the voice messages, as a reminder that these realities also exist

the host asked what was the most important thing for him, what he felt more responsible showing, and ludovico said for him it was the reaction of a group of heterosexual friends to one of their friends coming out. without dramatizing it or simplifying it too much. so the coming out with gio was the hardest scene cause there was a lot of weight on it. giovanni also had to be worthy of the moment. i loved this part: he said for him it was fundamental that giovanni touched martino right after his coming out, because it shows that nothing has changed between them, that they can still have a physical friendship, because so many times this doesn’t happen, straight friends pull back from/become less physical with their gay friends. their friendship not only hasn’t changed but is made more precious now

ludovico researched stuff like the gay street and grindr by experimenting them himself. he went to the gay street in rome and had a mission to get hit on (and he was lmao) and who did he meet that night? ROCCO, who went to the audition the morning after! incredible, he said he didn’t know rocco’s sexual orientation or anything but because he had seen him at the gay street he knew he could help give his input to the series, and of course pietro was precious as well to help with the representation

we watched the coming out scene and it was federico’s turn for questions (you could hear he had a cold, bb), the host asked him about how he felt/prepared for it and he said he felt a lot of pressure but he basically let martino lead him, he trusted his character that he had worked so hard on day after day and he also leaned on ludovico tersigni and bessegato. he hopes as many people as possible can relate to that scene, see themselves in it and live it

federico said the series enlighted him and made him reflect on lgbt themes and problems. he was never one to use homophobic slurs to follow the logic of the “pack” but it’s a thing, when you’re 15 or 16 you think you have to conform to what your friends say and do even if it’s harmful but this is why we have to spread awareness (”bisogna evitare il grigiume dell’uniformità” - we have to avoid the greyness of uniformity, he’s such a poet)

special mention to federico’s beautiful sweater, apparently he bought it in oslo, that sweater made his shoulders look even broader and it’s my new religion

we watched the milan uramaki/wedding proposal scene and BITCH I HAD NEVER REWATCHED THAT PART CAUSE IT HURTS i swear we were all holding our breaths. that’s when the host asked rocco about gay marriage and he said italy is very late but at least we have civil unions now and it’s been hard fought for. it’s important to talk about gay marriage not so much for younger gens but for older generations. discriminations are always present so you can’t relax even when you reach a goal, you have to fight for the next one

when asked how he pictures his wedding, rocco said marriage is very far in the future for him, but whoever it’s going to be with his wedding is going to be very normal (”everyone naked is not a bad idea tho”) and y’all already know this part, he said he’s a person who’s experimented a lot and he HATES LABELS, for himself and for others (so maybe don’t call him pan king, u know what i’m saying). he’s experimented a lot and tried to figure out what he likes and he likes a little bit of everything (ME PIACE NPO DE TUTTO. i was there. i was there when he said that. iconic) he understands the need for labels cause they can help you identify yourself and give a sense of belonging but there’s also the risk that they can be too limiting

at this point besse DRAGGED US TO HELL AND BACK he said the fandom gets mad at emma and when characters say things that are wrong but it’s hypocritical (cause it’s a realistic show, no?)

he dragged the tumblr sjw politically correctness of fandom and something about how we all say we accept and love everyone but then WE are the first who feel the need to put labels on people and people in boxes. he said IT’S COOL TO HAVE NOORA’S QUOTE IN YOUR BIOS BUT DO ANY OF YOU ACTUALLY STICK TO ITS MEANING? YOU’RE THE FIRST WHO AREN’T KIND smth like that i swear i was a bit stunned

he also really didn’t like how everyone spoiled scenes and clips, ruining the experience for everyone while also creating false expectations, cause we expect things to happen and get mad if they don’t (ngl as a person who hasn’t watched the og i was like yeah tell em). idk, basically at the end of the speech all i got is that he’s an emma apologist

pietro said so many amazing things, like that when we have that moment of awareness, when we realize we are victims of behavioral schemes, prejudices and stereotypes deeply rooted in society, that’s when we can change the world. idk he’s seriously such a well-spoken smart person and he’s only 22

he also said in a video i have posted here that positive lgbt representations in tv shows/films are SO important for young people cause they need to see that there’s a positive reality out there for them too, that gay characters aren’t only the psychos, the ones who kill themselves or suffer

host dragged ludo for not including a beyonce song in the gay season but he said we can expect satisfactions from fili in s3

fede took the gay test and ludo told him the answers to get the totally hetero results, but when ludo took the test his result was Not totally hetero

rocco knows he looks like edward cullen, actually it was his first girlfriend when he was like 14 and before twilight was a thing that told him that he looked like cedric diggory aka rob pattinson. when twilight happened it all went downhill. the vampire outfit in the halloween clip was Not Casual. actually they had a line when someone told nico he looked like edward but it didn’t make the cut

fede said the hardest scenes, not because he couldn’t get in character but because of the expectations and pressures were the ones with mamma rametta (<333) and the coming out with gio. but the scene he hated the most was the i wanna be yours scene cause he said he went cross-eyed (è venuta di merda - it came out like shit)

host asked who’s top and bottom and they all laughed about it don’t worry (although i know someone asked again in the second session? and they said they switch idk, whatever)

at the end there was not a lot of time for questions but as soon as the host asked if we had any i IMMEDIATELY shot my hand up cause i thought i would regret it if i didn’t ask. so i stood up and pietro came to give me the mic (<33333333) and I WAS SO NERVOUS but i thanked them for all their work and then i asked rocco how he felt representing a character that’s not only lgbt but suffers from a mi, that he did a WONDERFUL job doing it because he helped so many people who suffer from bpd/mi to identify with niccolò (i accidentally said multiple personality disorder instead of borderline and i am so embarrassed but i swear. i couldn’t. think. i apologized too) if he felt he had more responsibility and if he could talk about the milan scene. he said he did feel a double responsibility and an additional pressure because henrik holm already did a splendid job, but he dealt with it like any other role, worked on the character like any other and tried to do it justice. he didn’t treat it differently. the milan scene was hard cause it was the very last one they did but they also had so much fun. he told us about bessegato pranking him and making him yell TABBBBASCOOOOO when he was running around naked in milan

i feel like i should mention that in the second session rocco said federico is a really good kisser (”bacia da dio” literally means “kisses like a god”)

his perks are team oriented, he’s pro at taking hits for his teammates and gets some nice last moment rescues

also if there’s a hex on the map Yoosung is your man, somehow he always finds them

doesn’t play killer very often, mostly for dailies. but his go to would be The Legion, Frank or Joey. there’s something about them bad boys that he’ll never be and he enjoys the chase and tracking downed survivors after failed mending

He also plays Michael, his quiet self combined with The Shape make the perfect jump scares and mind game chases

rank 1 on both survivors and killers, all of them are 50 and he also knows top secret details about the upcoming DLC that no one even knows it exists yet

as survivor he’s the joker of the team. you can’t catch him, he’s like vanishing mid chase. hatch escapes and flashlight saves are his speciality and somehow he always has brand new part on his toolboxes

also expect him to bring the killer on your head only because he’s a troll but he’ll make up for it later

as a killer he loves playing The Doctor, laughing together with Herman with every electrocuted target, but he also plays The Spirit or The Hag

he’s on the entire map, playing against him is literally nerve wracking

plays both survivor and killer

as a survivor even if you can’t hear him you know he’s nagging. you failed a skill check? you see Jake turning towards you

since Darkness Among Us went live expect to see a judgemental Jeff from behind a wall when you miss that killer stun too

usually loses because he tries to get everyone to escape

his rank is higher as killer than survivor, and he likes to play killers like The Cannibal or The Wraith, efficient in downing down survivors but also that requires some strategy. he also likes playing The Hag for that wonderful Devour Hope

if she’s feeling particularly melancholic she’ll just let everyone farm and escape

she can’t play it daily, and wouldn’t tell her psychiatrist she has it on her laptop, but it’s a nice outlet to spend her free time
