'Please Don't Be In Love With Someone Else' - Tae Young x Reader

The search for a soulmate is one that never stops for Tae Young. In his younger years, everyday events would be punctuated with longingly looking at strangers. Bus rides, school projects, family gatherings; Tae lost count of his crushes after a while.

After joining 4 Town, his searching never ceased. Scanning every crowd full of 4 Townies, he would hope to lock eyes with the one. He even got bashful around interviewers and employees at the record label. He’s always longed for one special person to call his.

It’s a usual Saturday afternoon on the 2002 tour. An afternoon show followed by a meet-and-greet, then another show in the evening. Tae, and the other boys, always relish the relief after a busy Saturday. Not that they don’t love performing, it’s just… a lot.

You’d never know it, though, with the sweetness that Tae musters up for his young fans. Out of all the boys, Z is usually the groggiest, followed by Jesse. Still, they manage to work their usual charm and help make the 4 Townies feel special and appreciated.

And Tae is just the same. Countless autographs are signed in his signature pink sharpie, his smile as sweet and sincere as ever. It’s not a chore for him- how could it be? The way each and every 4 Townie’s eyes light up when they see him, the excited squeals and rose-dusted cheeks. It makes all the hard work worthwhile.

“Have a good day, now- peace!”

Sending another young fan over to his neighbouring bandmate, T, Tae turns back to the line with a smile.

And that’s when his eyes land on you.

His grin falters, mouth falling slightly agape. The tips of his ears grow hot when you smile as you step forward, and he just can’t seem to stop blinking like an idiot.

“Hi! I’m Y/N.”

He’s grateful that you took the initiative to lead the interaction. Noticing your outstretched hand, he comes back to his senses. Almost.

“Oh, h-hello! I’m Tae Young.”

“I know…” you giggle, charmed by the South Korean boy’s innocence.

“Right,” Tae shakes your hand gently, mentally reprimanding himself. Judging by the light snicker from beside him, he can safely assume that T clocked the awkward moment in its entirety.

“I really enjoyed the show! You’re awesome.”

The compliment catches Tae off-guard, and he looks at you bambi-eyed. He wishes he could think of some charming response, something that would show you how interested he is in you. As if the awestruck expression lacing his features isn’t enough. It’s obvious to everyone in the room that he’s taken with you.

“Thanks, Y/N…that’s very sweet.” His eyes lock with yours, and in that moment, it seems that neither of you remember the basic conventions of conversation. Feeling as though you’ve both stepped out of a classic rom-com movie scene, you can’t quite look away from one another.

That is, until a vivacious voice cuts through the shared moment;

“Ayo! Tae, you look like you seen a ghost!”

Tae scrunches his face up, cringing at T’s mocking. Looking over to the brunette and catching his mischievous grin, Tae sends him a death glare that makes you giggle. Upon hearing it, he turns back to you with a softened expression.

“You got anything you want me to sign?” Tae musters up a degree of confidence, and somehow, it works. As you excitedly search through your bag for the poster you brought along, Tae takes a moment to collect himself.

Thoughts about you bubble up in the young man’s mind and he doesn’t know how to stop them. Is he your favourite member of the group? Do you already have a boyfriend? How much more time will he have with you in the line? And, most importantly, how can he make the most of it?

Maybe coming up with an elaborate plan to make you his is futile.Someone as perfect as you has to have a boyfriend waiting outside, ready to take you home. It’s only logical right?

Yet, Tae can’t stop himself from hoping the opposite is true;

‘Please don’t be in love with someone else, please don’t have somebody waiting on you.’

“Ah, here it is!”

The sound of your heavenly voice brings Tae back to reality. Or at least, the wonderful new reality that began the moment you stepped into the room.

Taking the printout from you with shaky hands, he quickly swirls his signature over the picture of himself. Usually, he’d hand the poster right back, but he gets an idea.

Scrawling the digits of his number messily beneath his name, he quickly folds up the poster before he can overthink the action and, most importantly, before you can see it.

“Here you go, Y/N.” Tae smiles at you, and gets that same fluttering of butterflies when you beam up at him. Before you can open it, he quickly puts his hand on top of yours, “Thanks for coming to the show.”

He gives you a look, a look that lets the both of you know that your meeting is unlike any other. With a shy smile, you give him a little nod and step over to T. In return, Tae waves wistfully.

He tries to get his mind off of you as he signs the next 4 Townie’s poster and makes conversation. Like some sort of magnetic force, though, his eyes keep getting pulled back over to you. And each time they do, yours are already clocked on him.

In fact, neither of you notice the loud gasp that comes from T as he unrolls your poster. Everyone else in the room seems to, especially as T starts screeching excitably. “YO! TAE-TAE, YOU GAVE Y/N YOUR NUMBER?!?!”

Tae’s face quickly turns the exact shade of Kool Aid, although his face is scorching hot under your gaze. He’s relieved to see you giggle a bit at the whole thing, especially when the other 4 Town boys crowd around to check out the poster.

Somehow, Tae doesn’t care about all the attention. He doesn’t hear the inquisitions from his bandmates, nor sense the camera lenses zoomed in on his face from the line of fans.

All he notices is the bashful look you send his way, accompanied by a small smile that tells him the risk was worth it. It seems, his search for a soulmate is complete.

T's happy that you're having a good time but not now when you're supposed to be relaxing in your pajamas, watching shitty horror movies with him

There's just literally no need to play mental gymnastics

The quickest way to get from point A to point B is a straight ass line so why tf would he go in a circle,, ya feel ??

It's a glorious thing to witness every single time

Truly

Literally Tae will laugh at some dude trying to intimidate other guys but will turn the puppy eyes on you as soon as your attention is elsewhere

And to the stealer of your attention ??

Only the pettiest of exchanges are deserved

Tae will go out of his way to make them uncomfortable around him

He will put on the sweetest, most upbeat persona and proceed to shit on and backhand compliment this poor person with the biggest smile on his face

You'd feel bad if it wasn't kinda funny to witness lmao

And it is !!

It's really funny to just watch people get overwhelmed with the mixed signals that are Tae

Like,, the sweet persona is so good that people believe that he's being super nice until they actually listen to the words falling from his lips

♡ – trigger warnings :: depression [ all their parts , likely ] , something going through robaire's hand, blizzards, s*lf h*rm implied, suicidal tendencies, implied suicide, 4th degree burns, all of the boys are unstable, aaron z ripping a heart out, resurrection rituals, a crow gets slaughtered, violence, please tell me if I'm missing anything.

the quill in robaire's hold snapped, it's remains now on the floor as the prince jolted up right, now standing – his fallen chair left behind. he remained silent, his back facing the servant. he remained silent. so, eerily silent, it was.. horrifying. he did not cry, nor did he lash out in anger. no, no, he stood his ground.

"so i see..." that was all he said to the servant, before waving his hand and dismissing them.

the moment the door closed, the moment it so much as clicked – he loosened himself. his hand slammed onto the wall, claws gripping it with such fervor it cracked -

he stumbled. black splotches crowded his vision, he frantically waved his hands around trying to stay awake.

stay awake.

his hands felt something. his hands felt something. that's good. he felt his clothing hook. good. that was good.

stay awake.

he tried to hold onto it, his palm running down the metal until he was sure he could safely hold onto it - his breathing grew shakier, broken gasps coming out of his mouth.

it went through his hand.

he let out a pained groan as he gave into the darkness — the loud thump alerting the nearby servants who immediately came to his aid.

next thing he knew, he was back in his bed - and he looked to his side, expecting you, yet getting no one.

that explains why it was cold.

his gaze settled onto the ceiling, and if someone were to witness his current state right now - they'd swear that they saw the prince's eyes lose their sparkle. robaire tiredly sighed.

he stayed like that for the whole day, and the day after, and the day after that - and the whole week, then the next week, then the week after that - then the month after that, then the months after that, then the next year.

not hungry for anything besides the taste of your lips.

not thirsty for anything besides your love.

not looking for entertainment besides your dorky little jokes.

not living for anything but the fact that you would've wanted him to live.

the air grew colder with each second that passed. jesse stood silent, his mouth parted in shock as his eyes widened. his pupils shook. letting out a sigh , he looked at the servant.

"you are lying to me." he stated, simply.

the servant immediately waved off his accusations, telling him that they could never lie to his highness - but with how the prince looked at them with crazed eyes ? It no longer seemed like he'd listen to their explanation.

it was freezing.

the servant felt trapped, and as they looked down - they saw that they were indeed being frozen. ice crawled up up their neck until they were left forever still, their face in utter horror.

the prince showed no sympathy, instead turning his heel and making his way to your his chambers. there, he saw you, tucked up into your blanket - eyes still open yet dull, as the palace nurses worked on ensuring you were put to rest nicely.

he didn't know what came over him.

ice started to climb the room's walls. the nurses had dropped what they were holding as if to feel atleast a bit of warmth because it was so cold- and before they knew it, they had froze to death.

except you were unscathed. of course you were.

he could never hurt you.

it was so much colder than usual.

so much colder.

the fae of ice's wings had frozen over completely, leaving them only their feet as a use of transportation. which they did not like, for their feet were practically freezing even with shoes over them. they were practically freezing with layers upon layers of clothes on – and whose fault was that? why, the damned prince of course.

so devastated by his mortal lovers death, he froze over the plains! what kind of prince does that to his subjects ?! disgraceful !

for a few minutes, fear struck the land as their fellow fae were frozen over , their remains becoming nothing but the shards of ice on the ground.

yet slowly, the air had suddenly gone warmer – no longer were their feet freezing, no longer were they freezing.

they sigh, relieved.

they wonder who had knocked sense into the prince this time.

his own children had incapacitated him.

he was locked in the dungeons, his screams to be heard by no one as his children calmed the blizzard put into the lands due to their father going haywire.

locked in the dungeon, powers blocked off with shackles resembling metal gloves – he screamed at whoever decided to hear him, at his children, for his one last wish. his one last demand.

in the middle of the cellar, there was you. frozen to solid ice for the sake of preservation. but it was okay because all jesse saw was you.

he smiled.

he felt okay now.

aaron let out a laugh. It was empty, and weak. yet he still laughed.

"I would not joke about something this serious, my prince."

he laughed harder this time, even tearing up a bit. his laughs and snorts had soon turned into broken sobs, which turned into wails as he buried his face into the crook of the servants neck, who awkwardly patted him on the back - doing their best to comfort him. he choked on his saliva, coughing and coughing and yet he didn't care because he lost you.

he lost you, like he did her.

he lost you.

the veins in his hands grew visible, a lava like substance in them – he continued to cry. he continued to cry until his throat gave out, until his head throbbed and until his eyes went red. he continued to cry.

a sharp pain to his hands.

burned beyond recognition, all because he couldn't control his powers - and scorched himself. they were beyond painful.

yet nothing could compare to the pain of losing you.

" the prince has bounced back rather quickly !" they'd whisper, "yes, but do you not think he's acting a bit off?" some would whisper back. acting a bit off. acting like their highness once did, like y/n did.

aaron tritus had adapted your personality as a coping mechanism, as a way to never forget you.

yet, there were still parts of him that were originally his, and remained his.

the gloves on his hands, hiding fourth degree burns attested to that.

they were reminders.

reminders that these hands of his,

these hands of his that you once held in your own,

these hands of his that touched you so tenderly, took care of you like you were the fragilest piece of glass,

these hands of his that had failed to protect you when you needed to be protected.

aaron zimera held so much power.

he was respected by so many, he was revered by so many that the masses would do quite literally anything for him - he was sure he was able to find someone to save you, if he wasn't able to do it himself.

so why? why do you lay in his arms, lifeless, with no one able to prolong your life span long enough ?

just another hour would be enough.

another minute.

another second.

just more time to see you smile again, more time to kiss your tears away.

" meleth nin. " [ " my love. " ] he said, hoping that one last time, you'd turn your head in response - humming.

" ithildin. " [ "star/moonlight." ]he tried again, perhaps you didn't like that nickname of his, perhaps it was too old school.

he tried, again and again.

" elenath nin. " [ " my stars. " ]

" starlight. " he tried, his voice cracking a bit.

" my moon. " he tried, tearing up.

" my light. " - a last attempt, before all he could utter was :

"Y/N."

you didn't respond. you never responded.

he screamed.

screamed at the gods he used to respect, because how could he respect anyone who took you away from him? impossible.

how dare the gods be so cruel.

he won't lose you. not yet.

who would he be if he lost you? not a zimera, of course.

zimeras. they do anything for their beloved.

aaron stands up, careful not to harm your dead body - it must be in pristine condition for it to work. with a wave of his hand, a staff places itself in his palm.

anything for their beloved.

aaron chooses a zircon crow, for they have flown through the skies the moment the jeweled lands shaped itself. he risks everything to venture through with the merciless elements making themselves known as obstacles.

in the ruins of hoang, the fallen nation everything started - he finds one. a zircon crow who's lived for far longer than he can comprehend, a zircon older than time - and he takes in their excellence.

then he kills it.

he kills it brutally and rips it's heart out, soiled hands clutching the black heart.

he returns to your dead body laying in your shared bed.

he grins, and shoves the heart into your mouth.

you open your eyes and gulp, swallowing it on instinct.

"welcome back, starlight."

now you can be together, forever.

it baffled the spring fae — how their prince took his lover's death with grace not expected of a being who could only fall inlove once and then never again. it was unheard of , bizarre , taboo even. how could the prince of the spring fae, not be angry? not show any ounce of emotion at the fact his lover had passed? he didn't seem affected at all.

what they did not see, however, was the way that tae young jumped into the deadliest situations. he'd become reckless, and his temper caused him to smite anyone who so much as minorly inconvenienced him. he was so good at hiding his emotions, yet he couldn't hide them all the time. It's why those who inhabited the castle had been unlucky to witness this side of him.

the tae young who'd continously step onto the railing, his wings the only thing keeping him from falling - and yet they seemed to slow as he put one foot out. if it weren't for the servant who caught him before he fell, his blood would've been splattered onto the palace.

the tae young who stared at blades longer than he should've, as if he were thinking of something, anything to get the pain of losing you out of him. even if he'd bleed his pain out.

except of course, the palace people cannot be there all the time.

it was bound to happen.

he had thrown himself off the balcony, the balcony in which you confessed to him - his wings were mangled beyond repair, his bones broken and yet he was still alive.

god damn it.

a servant had found him, alas, they were too late — he was bleeding out, the only thing with him a blade of which he placed in the servant's hands.

" please kill me. make it so that I'll never have to experience how it's like to live without them anymore. please kill me."

Merry Christmas 4townies!

I made this drawing thinking of the boys in a "family" Christmas photo, and I was inspired by @chocolatechimsugakookie2 headcanons to draw them! I also have some of my own;

Aaron T: He will always be the one who smiles a lot in the photos, he never looks serious. He will always be next to Z trying to make him smile because he is always serious and they are inseparable haha.

Aaron Z: As already said, it's very hard to get Z to smile in photos, so T has to work hard to get him to. Even so, he always ends up having a soft but not very noticeable smile.

Robaire: Ro will always try to look more handsome than the rest of the guys, doing that sort of thing like the raised eyebrow, the smile, the hand on the waist kind of thing. Still, it's impossible for Ro to look bad in a photo.

Tae Young: Tae will always look pretty, but there's only a 5% chance of him being open-eyed in any photo, and if he's open-eyed, he might be looking away and not at the camera.

Jesse: And Jess will always look normal and smiling in the photos, but he's the one who scolds the guys for not getting a good photo on the first try.

And I also included in the drawing the theme of the shared Christmas coats, I wanted to make a more complicated design for each one, but you know, little time lol

Still I hope you like it! It will always be a safe kind of place to draw my boys <3

JOINING THE BAND/FRIENDSHIPS

so like of course they didn’t choose her because she was just a girl and it was “different” or whatever.

she was GREAT at dancing,singing,rapping, lyrics, you name it.

and of course she got along with all the other members.

her and t got along pretty fast with his naturally outgoing and humorous nature. they would go on deli runs together to get an unhealthy amount of snacks. most of the times tae tagging along. they would make the dumbest jokes and get scolded for just doing silly things.

ro and her were practically like cousins. always looking out for one another. helping when one gets sick. or writing lyrics together and just bonding over shared hobbies

she enjoyed playing video games with z laughing that she was better than him when she obviously cheated by hitting the controller out his hand.

she loved learning about animals with tae and baking those cute little cinnamon rolls together.

and she spent..oddly a lot of time with jesse.

like to the point where even the media noticed it.

she basically lives in his room at this point, like really. under the guise that his bed is just “comfier”.

she’s always right by him in his insta lives (this set in modern times hope u don’t mind) and when the fans ask about it jesses all like “oh we were just working on some new content together”

whenever they have an interview, the interviewer asks about it and both of them just go on about “how fun and cool the other is” “they’re like basically best friends”

but she can’t deny the butterflies in her stomach when he surprises her with a back hug when she’s not looking

and he can’t deny that he spends at least an hour staring at her gorgeous face when he wakes up before her after their little “sleepovers”. he can’t deny that he’s been looking at her that look in his eyes since the day he saw her at auditions.

and he DEFINITELY can’t deny what he just blurted out while he looked at her giggling face as he tried to teach her how to do ceramics and accidentally flung a glob of clay at her own face.

he can’t deny that. there’s no way he could. she heard it, he heard it, and now they were just staring at each other in silence.

Vacationing w/ 4 Town

So, I'm tired of the cold and consumed by wanderlust rn, so I let my imagination go wild.

Enjoy! 🧡

Robaire;

He’s big on vacations and avidly activates for the two of you to have some time away from everyday stressors. To help with this, there are two places that he’ll likely take you- unless you have your own preference or idea.

The first is obviously Paris. Need I say any more? Not really, but I will anyway. Paris naturally lends itself to romance- always has, always will. Plus, your boyfriend is practically a fully-trained tour guide, and plans the most romantic outings for the two of you. Whether it’s having a professional photoshoot at the top of the Eiffel Tower or a moonlit boat ride along the Seine, Robaire makes your Parisian vacation truly magical. Yes, his plans are extravagant and lavish, but if you want something low key, he’ll happily set up a picnic in a secluded spot on the city’s outskirts, full of French delicacies.

Now, if you’re both in need of a bit of sun, he’ll definitely take you to Barbados. He used to go on vacation here with his family when growing up, and is on first-name terms with all of the staff in one particular beach resort. He’s been going there all his life, and wants you to experience the same joy there that he has.

He doesn’t mind what activities you do, but will add his signature stamp of romance onto anything you want to do.

Jesse;

Jesse is a pretty chill guy, and he also loves the heat. So, unless you strongly object, he’s gonna take you off to an island somewhere. His personal choice? Any of the Greek islands. Probably Spetses or Ikaria. He’s fascinated by all the old ceramics and ruins that can be explored, and he definitely takes loads of pictures for artistic inspiration. You can expect cheesy compliments that liken you to the statues of Gods/Goddesses scattered around. He’ll likely do a bunch of research before your trip so that you can check out the best ancient sites and travel back in time together.

If the history stuff isn’t your scene? No worries! Jesse will have splashed out on an intimately luxurious hotel. He’ll try and find a place with a pool and private beach, so you can laze around in the sun as much as you want. He wants you to recharge on the trip, and the slower pace of Greek life is the perfect way to do that.

He probably won’t bring his kids for the first couple of vacations, but if they accompany you on one of your trips, there’ll be enough to keep them happy while you chill out.

Aaron T;

I head canon T as being a Brazilian/Sicilian mix, so those are his two preferred spots for your vacation!

Whichever one you opt for really depends on you and your preferences. If you’re an adventurous, curious sort of person, he’ll probably recommend Brazil. Expect a personal tour of the city, lots of street food, and a trip home to his mother’s family. They’ll definitely smother you with love and affection- you’ll probably need another vacation after being worn out spending a day with them (in the best possible way). Unless you strongly object, he probably won’t book a hotel and will instead choose to pitch up with his relatives.

If cities aren’t really your thing, though, you’ll definitely be going somewhere quieter in Sicily. This is where his Dad’s side of the family are from, but T probably will go down the hotel/resort route for this choice. He’s a beach lover, so finding a nice spot with a private beach will be on his agenda. Again, he’ll be introducing you to all sorts of local delicacies and having fun, adventurous days in the sand.

In either location, T really doesn’t mind what you choose to do. He’s happy so long as he’s at your side, relaxing and sharing his cultures with you.

Aaron Z;

Z is kind of a workaholic, so you’ll probably have to introduce the idea of a vacation. He’s definitely up for it, though, because he treasures time with you.

Now, he’s not so into warmer weather. If you flat out just need a beach vacation, he’ll of course be happy to go with you. But his preferred choice? Somewhere with a mild climate and plenty of activities to do.

For that reason, he’ll probably choose somewhere like Austria. There are all kinds of hiking possibilities, and skiing too. If you’re not as athletic as Z, though, and want something a little more chill, he’ll happily stroll round the cute towns with you and maybe suggest a light bike ride to take in the scenery.

The quiet Austrian culture compliments Z’s personality well, and, like the other guys, he’ll insist that you stay in a nice hotel. To round off each day, whether active or chilled, he’ll plan a private dinner for you both in your suite. On the balcony overlooking the neighbouring town and rolling mountains, he’ll chatter away to you in the peace of your vacation surroundings.

Tae Young;

Tae lives for vacations and definitely has a growing collection of brochures on his bedside table. He wants to see the whole world with you, so narrowing the selection down is tough for him.

Like T, though, Tae wants to introduce you to his family’s culture, so he’ll take you to South Korea! He’ll show you his hometown and, if you’re comfortable with it, introduce you to his extended family. He’ll definitely spoil you, too, taking you around cute boutiques and cafes that he likes. You’ll definitely be returning with a whole new wardrobe and plenty of other gifts, so you better have accommodated for extra baggage allowance!

If you’re already familiar with South Korea, though, Tae will definitely suggests a safari vacation in Africa. You’ll probably venture out to Kenya and get a private guide who keeps you safe. After a day of animal-spotting from the safe confines of the Jeep, you’ll both camp out in a safe spot on the trail and marvel at the clear, star-filled sky.

T realised the random comments at the weirdest of times got you to laugh during another cuddle session

You two had been sharing some kisses (spicy, I know) when he pulled away with the most confused and lose expression you'd ever seen on him

"Are you alright? Is something the matter?"

A pause

"Are narwhals to unicorns what mermaids are to humans?"

...

ADSFRHDHJDTE WHAT ??

You can't help but burst out laughing because wtf ?????

And the worst part ??

You didn't have an answer

So the two of you spent the rest of the night on google as if that would provide answers to a question ABOUT FANTASY CREATURES (excluding nawhals and humans)

At one point T gave up and decided Bing and then Yahoo was the way to go 💀

After that day T purposely started interrupting things and spouting random shit just to see you giggle

You'd be mad about him interrupting if he didn't light up every time he saw you crack even the smallest smile

But as well as spending time with you T loves it when you touch him

A brush of fingers, a peck on the cheek, a hair ruffle...

Jesse's love language is gift giving and physical touch

One thing about Jesse's gifts is that they're either expertly handmade or ridiculously expensive

In his mind you deserve something that's had lots of effort put into it

If he can't make something for you, whether he's busy or art blocked or he's just not proud of the piece, then he's spending his money on something that's equal to the amount of effort he would've put into your gift himself

Sweet ass motherfucker istg

Worst part is Jesse wasn't even trying to be romantic when he was explaining this to you

Simply factual and nonchalant as if he wasn't giving you the biggest compliment you'd ever heard

And still you couldn't help getting unbelievably flustered as he explained his gift giving ideology

And he caught on and immediately started teasing you

Fucking bitch

Not every gift he gives you will be big

Not every gift will break the bank

(metaphorically because Jesse = rich)

But he will put so much thought into everything he gives you

Every flower, every pendant, every chocolate and every item of clothing

Every gift he even considers giving you goes through heavy thought processes

What's the price tag ??

How much effort was put into it ??

Will you use it/wear it ??

Does it suit you ??

And most importantly: will you love it ??

Because at the end of the day, price tag, the effort and usability doesn't matter if you don't love his gift

You could use it everyday but if it doesn't bring you joy then what's the point ??

Jesse has little post-it notes of all your favourite things

I think he started out with just a spare sheet of paper but there was so much he wanted to write and then so many gift ideas that he had to extend the page

So now he has a sticky note disaster on his scrap paper, bullet point list

You know what Jesse loves getting in return for his gifts (not that he'd ever expect anything in return but yknow)

Kisses

Cheek kisses, forehead kisses, proper kisses, any kiss he can steal from you he will

If his kids ask about whatever he's making you followed by the inevitable "Why?" that drives every parent insane Jesse will simply reply "The kiss tax." and then never explain

The "kiss tax" means that for every gift Jesse gives you, you have to give him a kiss

AND HIS KIDS STARTED DOING THE SAME FUCKING THING

Holy shit it was so cute

His youngest made you a really cute bracelet and then stood there staring at you as you put it on

After a weird staring contest they blurt out "Kiss tax." and start making grabby hands at you

It's pretty easy to put together what's going on and what they mean knowing Jesse

And well, who are you to deny their adorable request ??

So you pick them up, balancing them on your hip, and place a gentle kiss on their forehead

...and then their cheek

...and then all over their face because duh

Jesse walks into the room and finds his youngest giggling up a storm as you pepper their face with kisses

He nearly dies on the spot, I won't lie to you

Ever since then his kids have started to expect a kiss or hug from you, whichever they prefer at the time, whenever they give you a gift

And you notice their gift giving, a trait they obviously got from their dad, increases

Hmmmmm,, what a coincidence huh ??

Jesse also enjoys long, tight hugs where you sway from side to side and stay there for as long as possible

Speaking of, he gives the best hugs no questions asked

A group huddle with you and his kids ?? Jesse couldn't be happier

Overall Jesse is a very charming lover who will always have a soft spot for you and his kids (especially if the two are combined)

Aaron Z - Flustered Flirt

Z's love language is quality time and acts of service

Z will always make time for you

You call in the middle of training ?? Sorry guys, gotta take this call

You want to show him something cool ?? Come right in. What ?? Working on something ?? No, Z's completely free right now...

You want to eat together ?? Lunch is already prepared, darling

And along similar lines, Z will do anything you ask of him (within reason, of course)

We all know how much Z despises social events

Too many people

Too crowded

It gets way too loud

And hot

And sweaty

And Z would rather just cuddle up with you back home

Or if he's feeling dramatic he may prefer to jump into a viper pit

Spice it up a little

But if you asked him to, Z would go anywhere

Social events are more bearable when you're by his side

Whenever he starts to feel drained and uncomfy, just one glance at you fuels him for another couple of minutes

The quicker Z gets through this, the quicker he'll have you in his arms, wrapped up in blankets in bed

And hey, if Z is feeling particularly drained he'll tuck his face into your neck and hide away from the world for a while

Once he starts to get his energy back up he'll playfully blow on your neck as you're talking to distract you

But there's always a way for you to get him back because there's more than a couple sure fire ways to fluster him beyond belief

Just knowing that no matter what direction the band takes that you'll be there for him means the world

Z truly loves you and you rooting for him gives him the confidence to be proud of himself

Another thing Z loves to do is little chores that you could do but dont want to

Like,, no one wants to empty the dish washer

Literally no one

But Z knows how much you hate doing it so he goes out of his way to empty it every morning before going to the studio so you don't have to

What a sweetheart honestly-

If you're struggling with work Z will try his best to help

Like,, he'll have no fucking clue what he's doing but he'll try his best

Honestly you spend more time giggling at Z and swooning than you do actually getting any work done

I feel like Z is a little self concious

One thing that comes to mind more than anything else is his height

Robaire's love language is words of affirmation and physical touch

The physical touch is strong in this one,, let me tell you

Robaire gets stressed way too much

Being the leader of the band does that to a guy

So 9 times out of 10 Ro's very tense

One way you're able to get him to wind down is playing back tracing games

Truly the most relaxing thing to exist fr

Wherever your fingertips explore the muscles underneath begin to relax

Soon enough you'll have a puddle of Robaire in your lap, blissed out of his mind lmao

Okay okay,, but if yall are actually playing then Robaire is suddenly in this shit to win it

Like,, you were taken aback at first with how serious he would get over these games

Guess the letter ?? Ro's analysing the entire alphabet to match the structure of each letter with what he feels on his back

Guess the number ?? Mans is doing some quadratic formula algebra bullshit to figure out this number

Guess the shape ?? Immediately starts doing the area of a circle off the top of his head

But sometimes Robaire likes to play games of his own by confusing the fuck out of you

At some point or another you figure out that Robaire's just winding you up

The variety of creative threats you sent his way was almost as wide as the range of his guesses

Ro loves these little moments with you

Being the leader of a world famous boyband is tougher than most would assume so its nice to have a little down time

No matter where Robaire is in the world he knows when he gets back to you he's got lots of relaxation to look forward to

That's what really keeps him going when he wants to quit tbh

Flirting with you in French is another thing Ro loves to do

He loves watching your reactions

Whether you get bashful and embarrassed at certain lines

Whether you fire back with your own that have his face heating up too

Or whether it flies completely over your head and he has to repeat in English

No matter how you respond though,, Ro will cherish it

Robaire collects your reaction like trophies and every time he sees a new one he reacts like a little kid in a sweet shop

Tae Young's love language is gift giving and quality time

I honestly can't remember where I've seen this before but Tae is very very protective of the doves he fosters

Even the guys have a hard time getting closer than a metre away from their recovery area

And you can bet there's at least 5 security guards outside at all times

Tae can't bear to think that one of his doves could get hurt again because he let the wrong person near them

Literally helps one perch itself on your finger ??

I think it would be a bit of an understatement to say you were shocked

You'd heard all of these stories about Tae literally biting people to stop them from touching his doves and he just ?? gave one ?? to you ??

But once you get over your shock you fall in love with the dove on your finger,, Maple

You start to stroke his head and can't hold back your smile when he starts making little bird noises

Holy fuck,, this is the best thing you've ever done in your life

Forget that one time you nearly did the splits,, this is your new greatest achievement in life !!

Maple is your new favourite being,, just look at his little face !!

Your so wrapped up in the little dove perched on your finger that you don't notice Tae practically vibrating a little bit away from you

His hands are clenched and his cheeks are puffed out,, he's almost bouncing with urge to squeeze you in a bear hug and he's ignoring the need to bite you also.. you're just too adorable right now !!

Bro has the worst case of cuteness aggression known to man

To calm himself he grabs your other hand and squeezes it as gently as he can manage and gives you a blinding smile that widens when you return it with your own

Spending time with you and his children doves makes Tae's heart feel full

He's also likes bringing you little gifts in the form of flowers

If Tae sees a random flower (read: weed with petals) he'll pick it for you

He thinks these small flowers are cute and pretty and that's what he think about you !!

Daisies are his most common gift but it really depends on what flowers he sees and which one he thinks you'll like the best

Tae loves gifting you flowers in person

He likes seeing your reactions,, your soft smiles get him through the toughest of days (and Z's relentless dance practice)

But if Tae's busy or feeling extra romantic he'll send a dove to give you the flower

If he has the time he'll be watching from round some corner with the sweetest nervous expression

Tae will never not be nervous when giving you a gift

What if you don't like it ??

notes :: alas ,, after a long wait - it's here ! faetown content from the faetown creator ! huzzah ! I combined two reqs for this <3 gave up on scenario building somewhere in the parts !

robaire sees the way members of his court look at you – as if they're judging each & every thing you do, from the way you hold a spoon to how you negotiate with someone for the last piece of cake. they see flaws , tons and tons of flaws and you know they do - you hear their whispers , feel their constant gazes on you ... but you remain poised. you pretend you are unbothered, pretend you don't know, but you do! and gods, it is so hard to pretend you don't – pretend that you don't want to scream, to shout at the court about how yes, you know about their gossip! their judgement! and you want them to stop!

it gets to the point you genuinely have to, and you are about to, but robaire; calm, sweet, nice robaire beats you to it.

" cowards ! speaking ill as if you are not speaking ill of your future ruler , my lover ! if you so bravely proclaim that my beloved is not fit to rule when we are not present... then surely you'd have the nerve to do it when we are, hm? "

It leaves you in awe. It leaves the court gaping. and with those reactions, he's satisfied. robaire looks at you and smiles, stretching his hand out.

the winter court's words pierce through your heart , for they are as harsh as ice seeping through one's veins - and as cold as the strongest blizzard. you are sure you won't be able to stand up against them without your voice cracking, without proving your inferiority – for if you can't take their critiques with the expected poise , what good would you be as a ruler ? they call you a harlot. a good for nothing. a feeble minded mortal, not fit for someone as revered as prince jesse.

he knows you aren't fit for him. knows you will not be able to prove yourself worthy any time soon with your humanness.

he pays mind to the way you love him , keep your tone with him firm but gentle - how you see him as an equal, not a superior. how you treat him as such. the thought of losing you is unfathomable to him.

he's kneeling. kneeling infront of you , looking up at you with pleading eyes - infront of the court. surrendering himself, submitting to you, proving to the court that you have so much power over him, he swallows his pride and drops to his knees. he murmurs proclamations of love as he slowly looks down in shame, an apologetic look on his face for letting the court talk of you so horridly.

you kneel down aswell, your hands in his - and the way he so lovingly looks at you, is enough to reassure you that he won't leave, no matter what happens. enough to convince the court that you are worthy of respect.

a powerhouse of a fae prince on his knees, for a human -

that must be a special human indeed.

aaron t had never been as serious as right now.

with how he glared at the people who'd been accused of badmouthing you, his lover, why wouldn't he be ? you are his lover, after all. his sun, sunshine, sunrise. so if he noticed your rays dulling ? he'd take care of the reason, but not in the way he was taking care of the reason right now.

sat on his lap with members of his court infront of you, you held your head in your hands as your wonderful boyfriend boldly listed off everything he loved about you, everything he admired, even going as far as to initiate pda with you [ consensual ]. he kissed your knuckles every five seconds, kissed your cheek every ten seconds, and pressed kisses onto your neck every twenty minutes. what did the summer court do ? well, they'd no choice but to watch. watch as their future king proved them wrong, that you were no rebound, that you were no mere human, you were his. his human.

the court members nod obediently.

you'd think even being acquainted with the prince of night, aaron z, himself would keep you an object of respect... how wrong you were.

" a mortal " they whispered. " a mortal winning the heart of one of the most powerful beings in the history of powerful beings ... how unfair. it's impossible , the prince has gone out of his mind. "

of course , he hears these whispers , and he truly does his best to keep his composure, he really does - but it's so hard. it's so hard when you cry to him at night as he reassures you to the best of his ability , it's so hard when you plead for him to not act , because you do not want to make your current situation first, because you feel like youre overreacting. it's so hard, its so so hard.

sooner or later , he snaps. he hears one of the noble men comment on how unsightly you look in that snobby tone of his and the dam breaks. not that it wasn't already holding on for dear life before.

in that moment , he reminds the citizens, his citizens, why he is proclaimed as one of the most powerful faes in history. why he is aaron , prince of the night court. the most feared, for all the right reasons.

his parents look at him, proudly. for all they see when they look at you & him? why, themselves. that's a story for another time, though.

you are treated with civility after then.

you've never seen taeyoung this angry.

you've never even seen taeyoung angry before.

with you, he is nothing more than a puppy - following you around and obeying your every wish, because he loves you ! he's yours ! forever and ever !! he could never get mad at you, no matter what ! he's kind, he's energetic and approachable to everyone he meets -

but sometimes.. you just need to remind people of just exactly who you are. what your title is. and just how feared you should be.

that's exactly what's happening right now, prince taeyoung holds your hand tightly as he speaks to his court members - his voice, in contrast to the usual soft and welcoming tone he sports - is now dark and threatening. his eyes are narrowed , his teeth grit whenever one of the members, foolish as they are, try to make excuses for talking about you.

" your highness, we - "

" one more word out of that foul mouth of yours , fool , and i will not hesitate to smite you and spit on your miserable grave. "

he takes no disrespect to his future ruler. when you are disrespected , his fists clench and he quakes in anger - an urge to rip apart whoever dared treat you with anything less than respect bubbling in. whether it be with his well hidden silver tongue , or his bare hands.

he may not act like one , but he is still a powerful prince. a future high lord, and by extension- you are his future high liege/lord/lady. so if anyone dares forget of your position ?

he will not hesitate to remind them.
