Aizawa Makes A Friend
Title Page
Tumblr media
I was thinking about Erasermight, like usual. My sisters love Aizawa and Yagi without ever watching My Hero Academia. Lots of the people who enjoy the ship are adults that may know kids whether they are their own or not. What is the best way to share Erasermight to kids? Making a children’s book! Insert me, a 16 year old with two younger sisters, and mediocre drawing skills.
Shout out to my mom, for creating the entire storyline.
Shout out to my sisters and other child from our daycare, for letting me use them as references.

So I did something very exciting:)))) I MADE THE COVER!! I have not been this proud of my art in so long, thank you guys for the encouragement to keep going with this!
I decided that the book would be printed hardback, similar to the old serendipity type books. I wanted to do a print center with gold leaf design on a mat traditional background in green.
If anyone wants to read the first draft (in a previous post) I would love feedback 💕 please ignore the grammar though, I wrote it out in like 15 minutes and did not check that things were properly capitalized and stuff lol. I am totally down to be told if I am using words that are too big (for example produce is a word that most 6 year olds probably don’t know). If y’all have fun/ funny ideas for snake jobs (like being a professional scarf or wedding ring out of the drain getter) I would LOVE to hear them!!
If you want to support the creation of this story please check out my redbubble!
The target demographic for this story is age 6-10.
The moral is that it is okay to be just really, unashamedly bad at things, or to have disabilities that prevent you from your goals. Sometimes that’s just how things are. There are other things that you can do, and by working together with others, you can achieve your goals despite the challenge.

As promised! Here is Butter and the Witches pumpkin! (This art is available in my red bubble store as well!)
Butter had always been a strange little python. She slithered out to the pastures every day to watch the farmers toil in their fields.
“Why do you love watching those farmers so much?” Butters mother asked her one day.
“It’s because one day when I am big and strong like you, I want to be the best farmer there ever was!” Butter exclaimed.
Butters mother tilted her head in concern, “why, Butter dear, you don’t have any thumbs! How are you going to plant your seeds, water your crops, and harvest them when they are nice and ripe?”
Butter frowns, she had not considered this.
“What if,” Butters mothers starts, “You became an Olympic tree climber like your father? Or you could get wedding rings from peoples drains like your sister. You could even become a professional living necklace for rich people like me, I get to overhear all sorts of interesting things you know!”
Butter thought about this for a second. She didn’t like climbing trees, small spaces scared her, and posing around rich people all day sounded so boring! Butter shook her head, “I don’t want to do any of those things Mama! I’m going to grow a big beautiful garden no matter what!”
Butters mother sighs, “you know dear, sometimes there are things you just can’t do. I’m afraid having thumbs is just one of them. I am sure we can find a more reasonable goal that will make you just as happy! Maybe your father will have some ideas!”
Better grumbled, she didn’t want to find a new goal! She wanted to be a farmer! “I’m going to the forest!” She exclaimed, slithering off. She would plant the best garden and show her mom that she was wrong!
So off Butter went, deep into the forest. She followed a little stream until she came to a clearing. This would be the perfect spot for a garden! The plants would get plenty of sun, and there was a water source nearby too!
So butter got out her favorite seed pouch and went to the middle of the clearing! She tried wrapping her tail around nearby sticks to rough up the ground for planting, but it took so long, that the sun was almost down by the time she finished! And she didn’t have any way to water them, nor pluck the giant weeds from the dirt around the tiny seedlings. Butter was exhausted, and she hadn’t even done the hardest part!
“Maybe Mama was right… This is going to be impossible without thumbs. I can barely hold this stick- how am I supposed to hold a watering can, or pick ripe produce?” Butters head hung low, she felt so defeated… There was nothing left to do but go back home and find a new goal, just like her mother had said…
As the sun started to fall, Butter sadly made her way back through the forest. But before she gets home, she stumbles upon a sad little witch crying on an old stump!
Butter understood how the little witch felt, she wanted to cry too. She didn’t want anyone else to feel as sad as she did!
“Um, excuse me witch, why are you crying?” Butter asked
“Oh!” The little witch exclaimed with a sniffle, “I’m sorry I didn’t see you there. You see, I have to make a magic potion to graduate from my witches academy, but I just can’t seem to grow the ingredients to make it!” Her bottom lip trembled, “at this point I will never graduate!”
Butter knew what it felt like to have gardening issues, “I am struggling to grow things as well…” she sighs, “I watched the farmers every day to learn about gardening, but I can’t even hold a watering can… I’m useless…”
The witch perked up, “you watched the farmers every day? Well then you must know how to help me! It’s okay if you can’t hold a water an Butter, I can do that for you!”
Butter suddenly found herself being picked up and carried away into the forest to a cute little cottage.
“This is my little garden patch. I planted my seeds here weeks ago but nothing has happened!”
Butter thinks for a second, examining the soil. “Your soil looks really dry. Have you watered it?”
“Huh? I thought the rain watered plants!” The witch exclaimed. “Oh… I’m no good at this at all!”
Butter smiled, “maybe we can work together miss Witch! I can tell you all about each plant, and then you can care for them!”
The Witch gasped, “why, that’s the perfect idea Butter! Right now I need to grow pumpkins, do you know how to do that?”
And so, Butter and the Witch worked all season long until their garden grew big and bountiful.
Finally, their first pumpkin was ready to be harvested.
“Thank you for all your help Butter, I couldn’t have done it without you!“ said the Witch, pulling Butter into a big hug.
“Thank you, Witch. I couldn’t have done it without your help either.
And so, Butter and the Witch admired their first harvest, and excitedly talked about what they would plant next until their eyes grew weary and they fell asleep curled up by a nice, cozy, fireplace.

The shy beetle
There was a blue beetle named Bob. Bob was a happy kid beetle. He loved to play and have fun. He was also kinda wacky and had trouble understanding things sometimes, but he didn’t care, he just wanted to explore and learn new things.
Bob went to small bug school to learn about many things. From learning about the different foods there are to eat, to learning about numbers and how to use them. Bob actually didn’t mind going to school. He found it fun and interesting.
Sometimes the other bugs ask Bob if he wants to play with them. Bob liked to play with the other bugs. They played bug ball, tether ball, handball, and hide and seek. He also worked with the other bugs on team assignments in class.
Bob was happy. He met many good bugs, had so much fun, and learned so many things. He wouldn’t change a thing. He enjoyed spending time with other bugs.
But that changed when Bob went to medium bug school. Bob heard of other bugs doing bad things like stealing, fighting, and having dangerous fun. Bob didn’t want to be like them, so he decided to not talk to nor hangout with them. He would only focus on school work.
That’s how it was for Bob for his entire medium bug school days. He’ll do his school work in class by himself, he’ll eat alone during lunch, and just be by himself everyday in school. The only time he spends time with the other bugs is when there is a group project and have to join with the other bugs. Other than that, he just spends his time alone, away from the other bugs.
After medium bug school, Bob went to big bug school. At first he stayed the same, but after a while he began to play with the other bugs more. During sports class, he began to join certain bugs he’d gotten used to for sports playing. He also began to play card games with them during free time. He liked playing and hanging out with them, he had so much fun.
One day Bob saw one of them get a game ready for the other bugs. Bob decided to join them and had a lot of fun, so he decided to join them every lunch time to play. He was having so much fun, he even played with them after school. That was the first time he played with someone after school and was glad he did. Bob realized how much fun it is to play with other bugs and hangout with them.
Bob had so much fun playing and spending time with them, he learned that not all bugs are bad. Even with all the stuff he heard about other bugs, he realized that not all bugs are like that. That he should give more bugs a chance. With the bugs he met and had fun with playing, he was more open to talk to and make the other bugs their friend.
