How much of the remaining 4 books do you have planned out? I'm curious to know considering you've mentioned it's 7 books in total and it seems so massive and lore filled. Absolutely love this series!

All the books have a general plan to them- like what the story is going to be, what point I want the romances to be at, etc.

I find having that whole overarching story plot in place, as well as the individual stories, makes it a bit more cohesive. Each book is supposed to be like an episode in a TV show, and the seven books together make the whole season...if that makes sense, hehe! :D

But very detailed plans I do when I come to write the book, as things have definitely changed and adapted as I've written the books!

Conceptual art of a Mountain Grazer || The Mountain Grazers raise cattle (see cow sketches below the cut), herding them from grassy mountainside to grassy mountainside by season. Sometimes they have to climb to get vantage points, clear pathways (the cows are not as graceful), and rescue calves that have been separated. They’re so strong that most of them can pull off feats like the one shown here: scaling an over-sheer cliff side with a calf dangling from one foot. Incredibly hearty and athletic, these fellas are the most no-nonsense of the Grazer species.

‘Haha they did a face reveal last year i think, and really blew up from there. They’re so cute, and really fucking short? like 4’10, and goofy clothes in real life. I got their autograph last year at ScreamCon. They’re honestly so sweet too! You should come meet them with me this year!’

Too much free time so more sketchbook, featuring John’s celeb hyperfixation unlocked. He always had an easier time crushing on celebs and fictional characters, easier to not get hurt when there’s no chance in hell you’ll ever get together with someone haha…right?

Hey guys, since I posted that poster, I decided to do a little rewrite and a redesign of the Seven friends from Asha’s friends group cause personally, I didn't mind them but there was something a bit off about them when I watched the actual movie, I also felt like there were far too many of them together and even though it was nice of them to be referenced as the Seven Dwarfs, that was all we got, so I decided to reduce the number from seven to three!

The first member of the friend group is the leader himself, Leo who represents Mickey Mouse with his kind and determined personality he is known for being calm, reserved and supportive towards Asha especially when trying to hide his wish from being stolen from Magnifico and Amaya, he can be a bit of a liar sometimes which happens in the middle of the story (I won't spoil for obvious reasons) but in the journey to retrieving the wishes back, he learns to tell the truth with his own heart to make his wish come true.

Gillia is the second member of the group and she represents Donald Duck with her short-tempered personality, she also is a bit stroppy and doesn't talk to Asha that much which leads her into big problems that arise as the story progresses, she is also the daughter of the chief of the Hamlet in which she was told to make sure that the village is at peace, but she struggles to do that since she can be lazy sometimes, but later on, she learns to do her own work and to communicate with her friends to form a better relationship with them.

And finally, Dextrous is the third member of the group in which he represents Goofy with his awkward personality but is still friendly towards others including Asha, he is one of the guards of the royal castle which results in him doing the king and queen's duties but is forced to keep a secret from them, but he struggles to do that since he likes to say things out loud without knowing, but he learns how to hide secrets with the help of his friends and Asha as they battle the couple from retrieving the wishes!

Also, the song "Knowing What I Know Now" will be rewritten into a planning song in which Asha, the three friends and Antares come up with a plan to retrieve the wishes from the couple, so basically most of the song will stay the same but with alternative lyrics and a different structure to make the lyrics flow a bit better

Just to conclude, here's a little drawing of each member of the group when they meet Antares for the first time, you could tell that they aren't amused at first but the relationship will grow throughout, so here you go, a friend group that ACTUALLY serve a purpose in a story and not a case of nostalgia, what I did here is base this characters on nostalgia but with a purpose of their personality!

i keep coming back to the good omens mianite AU so have a funky little illustration :] I just. I just love them a lot

Ref + what story I've thought about below the cut!

(Spoilers for Good Omens S1 and S2 ahead, be wary if you haven't watched and wanna get into it without prior knowledge)

At its core, this AU is basically good omens but with the cast of Mianite, with a few revisions to tie it a little into the mcytverse (while also not like compromising the integrity of the show version of the story) I got inspired by AdamMonter's AU and decided I wanted to give it a go myself after i watched S2 and reawakened my fixation :D

Jordan is this universes Aziraphale- the angel stationed to guard Eden and look out for humans (intended to instill in them the ways of goodness through righteous balance and justice in the name of the High Goddess) - and Tom is Crowley, or the snake in within the Garden, sent up to cause chaos and tempt humans towards evil shenanigans in the name of Dianite, or the devil in this case. They stand on two opposing sides of whats meant to be an all out war between Heaven (under Ianite) and Hell (by Dianite) on whether Ianites form of order (borrowing this from Aitheaca) or chaos will reign supreme- or basically the big ol apocalypse. I made Mianite the Metatron because idk what else to do with him mianite im sorry i didnt wanna make ianite the metatron if i swapped it even though it would make more sense for mia and dia to be fighting SOBS

Tom n Jordan grow close over their centuries on Earth together that when everythings meant to go down and destroy the world they've made their own, they fight to stop the apocalypse from happening, and by the end of it, are subsequently punished by their respective sides- only to not be affected and left alone when they seem to have absorbed the powers of the other (no one seems to realize they can swap bodies). Series 2 follows what they uncover by the end of it a plot to restart armageddon, in which they want Jordan to take over as the head of it after the former champion/supreme archangel is ousted for disagreeing- and had shown up with a non-existent memory nonexistent at Jordan's.

Jordan runs an antique shop instead of a bookshop, he seems like he'd be more into little trinkets and old school machines, stuff he could tinker with. its still got that certain charm to it though

Capsize is Nina from the coffee shop (give me coffee or give me death seems like a thing Capsize would name something) and Sonja is Maggie who runs a record shop. aka the lesbians from across the street you know what I am

For something hilarious Tubbo is the Antichrist, aka the child meant to start and lead the War (leaving it as is bc its funny but not the literal antichrist) He's meant to join a government family to put him in a place of power, but due to a mix up ends up with an In the meantime, Tom and Jordan act as godfathers to the other child (who they assume is the antichrist, it would be funny to make this Crumb or something) in hopes that influencing them to good/evil respectively would neutralize them out- only to eventually realize its the wrong kid

Wag is Anathema, the descendent of a prophetic wizard who was scrutinized for their foresight and becomes the carrier of those prophecies (for my sanity ive chosen to get rid of the Newt-Anathema romance thing idk it. it just aaaa and turn into wag and his bros aka FyreUK tryin to use what they know to stop the apocalypse from their end)

Angels are Ianitees (save for Capsize), and Demons are Dianitees. Ive gone back n forth with who would be who and I still have no answer so. all I'll say is that Andor is Muriel thats all thats important /j C:

The other option was to make Satan the Darkness/World Historian and Dianite is the Lord of Hell (Beelzebub) with Mot as Gabriel but do i look like I know? idk do we need ineffable bureaucracy i could always alter that a little too... idk

tubbo as the child of the world historian who wouldve thought… edit what if like carrier of the darkness

anyway thats all enjoy this nonsense ;)

Conceptual drawing of a Desert Grazer. They got lots of fun minerals in the desert to dye with, and their tattoos are inspired by the plants, the quail-like birds they tend, and rain. They tend to tattoo thick designs under their eyes to protect them from the sun. The tassels on their hoods deflect sand from their faces. Unlike their Grassland brethren, they decorate their horns just for fun. Teeth from creatures they smack to keep their birds safe are a favorite adornment.

Is sidon still king? Cause Zora live many many years

I state that some secondary characters are not defined yet, that Sidon or the other sages could be part of the story I didn't plan it, simply because totk wasn't there when I created my story.

Instead, I planned a character of the Zora race, a Zora warrior to be exact, who will help Link solve some problems in the village, but there is still a lot to define about this character.

It is certain that if I were to add Sidon as King of the Zora, then I would have to plan everything meticulously by connecting past events.

Certainly working on the design of Sidon as a King would be interesting, I think he would be as big as the Zora Kings we saw in Oot and Botw. I don't know yet what I will do but we will definitely discuss it again in the future!

A little exclusion art cuz it’s very fun to do (basically draw a blob and erase the line art instead of inking it, you’ll see a lot of it in Mil-Liminal and in Seemingly Dark, especially in the In Between Place and Rok!) in my fave palette from my comic Prom Night. I like to make quick pieces to get a feel of what a new story will be, instead of writing down beats, so here’s a little peek at my ideas for book two of Mil-Liminal: The Gateway!

I’m sorry if this comes across as rude, because I swear I’m not trying to be, but the Belladonna route is a little discouraging. Like just once I’d like the opportunity to properly romance her without someone else getting in the way, you know?

In Book One it was Gabriel (although to be fair, he doesn’t do it on purpose) and we had to deal with both of their baggage and lingering feelings. And now in Book Two we have Gadora who’s actively trying to get in the way. It’s a little frustrating because even though Bella does make it clear she puts MC first, it always feels like MC is stuck in second place.

To be fair, some of this could just be my own perception of things, and I’m sure as the books go on things will clear up, but in the meantime it kinda sucks. I guess the downside of being with one of the most sought after and influential women in TNM is you always have to share them with someone else 🤷‍♂️

I think this might be partially your own perception. I hear you and understand where you are coming from, but a lot of this kind of stuff is coming from a place of assumption. A lot of people thought that Gabriel and Belladonna hadn't really "dealt" with things and had an unrequited love. But that wasn't true. And now people are assuming Gadora is in love with Bella which I can assure you there is some other stuff going on there. And I say that because I, as the author, haven't even decided if Gadora loves her or not.

Part of romancing a vampire who was also the top courtesan of the market, is that people are going to like her. A LOT of people are going to like her. And like you said, Bella has made it clear that she puts MC first. So, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do.

I strive to make the relationships in this story messy, complicated, and realistic. In life, people are going to occasionally flirt with your partner. Maybe even like them. It's how your partner responds that is usually more important. And Bella clearly is just wanting to get to MC.

But, on almost any route, there are other love interests. There are other people who have relationships with the RO's. I understand that it is not everyones cup of tea, but I enjoy stories far more with a lot of different layers to it. Especially on interpersonal subjects. So that's kind of what I tend to write as well.
