how i feel bein an absolute KING of the grill at mannaza (@ mannaza_newcastle on ig) round chinatown. got the meal for two: indulgin meat bbq set. kimchi was perfect, rice was perfect, mushrooms were perfect, meat was beautifully marinated n the dumplins were SUBLIME!! nice lightin n not so loud as to be overwhelmin at the time we went!!
£2.60 for a can of coke is a bit cheeky but good scran is good scran.

Summary:
He misses those days, a decade feeling like a lifetime ago. Warm summer nights spent listening to records and smoking pot with Hux, the resident rebel of their high school.
He’d been the wild card of their senior year, having moved here all the way from Ireland with his long, copper hair, and band t-shirts. He’d even wear nail polish like the girls no matter how many times the teachers told him to remove it.
Kylo had envied Hux then, and he still does. He’d tried so hard to be like him. He’d refused to cut his hair and worn his jeans tight, rebelling as much as he could under the watchful eye of his parents and their friends.
He wonders where Hux is now, if he went back to Ireland or if he made himself a life here in the states. Maybe he’s like Kylo, stuck in an office somewhere answering emails and sending faxes. Half the time he feels like he’s just another computer.
Part of him doubts that Hux would ever submit to a corporate life. He’d been too much of a rebel for that. But Kylo remembers how smart he was, how he never got less than a B+ on any test. Maybe he went on to do something cool like joining NASA or the FBI.
He’s willing to bet Hux looks amazing in a suit.

the choir at korean barbeque!! bc i will never stop pushing my korean noel agenda!!
-noel cooks for the table while ocean inspects all the meat to make sure nothing is raw
-ricky and penny literally running their own cooking show with the lettuce wraps and banchan
-constance eats like 6 plates of kimchi while ocean watches in horror bc she can not handle spice T_T
-noel orders a bunch of food for them all to try out and thinks they'll have too much until mischa like eats a pound of galbi
-"mischa wtf"

-penny and noel teach the rest of the group to use chopsticks bc penny definitely learned how to in elysium
-constance picks up the chopsticks super fast and makes one of those chopstick wrapper holder thingies (asian kids you get me)
