Hi!!! This is my first time ever requesting here on tumblr lol and I managed to stumble across your fic about Hannibal and Muslim reader! It was nice to read a fic about it since there’s so little fics with Muslim readers 😭😭 anyway, I was wondering if you could write another one with Muslim reader, but this time she DOES wear the hijab and how Hannibal and maybe Will might react to her being a doctor and agent while being maybe 28 or so. (You don’t have to separate it into two, maybe jsut one about them being friends (like a trio) and if they’d be curious about her religion and what not)

You fixed your hijab and made sure your hair was neatly tucked underneath, before exiting the women's bathroom and making your way to your patients ward.
He had called you there earlier with a few other people to interrogate one of the rippers victims, and one of your patients. Somehow she had survived, while on the brink of death you were able to resuscitate her.
You walked into the ward, it was a private ward specialised for Jessie herself, which was your patients name.
Will and Hannibal seemed to turn around at the same time at the sound of the door opening, you gave them both a faint smile as you walked up to them both. “How is she?”
“Unconscious.” Hannibal spoke up. “But didn't one of the nurses say she woke up from her coma over a week ago?” Will spoke up, looking between Hannibal and you.
“Yeah no, she did wake up. She's probably just asleep. Which is also weird since that's not up to her sleep schedule. I've been documenting.” You mentioned, right then she started stirring awake.
“Speak of the devil.” Hannibal mumbled as you three watched her open her eyes and blink a few times before sitting up and staring at you three. “Who...?” She spoke up. “Jessie Freeman, right? I'm Y/N L/N, your assigned doctor. This is Will Graham, an FBI agent. And Hannibal Lecter.” I spoke up, motioning to them. Will gave a little wave while Hannibal nodded his head in acknowledgement.
“You're... My assigned doctor?” She spoke up scanning you up and down. “Yes, I assure you I'm the most skilled doctor in the facility.“ You smiled, trying to ease her worries. “No I'm not worried about that it's just... You're...” She trailed off, staring at you.
You were confused as to what she was talking about, but Will caught on, looking over at Hannibal who gave him a look which said „Did she really just say that?„ And Will shrugged back, raising an eyebrow as he stared at Jessie.
“I'm what? I'm sorry if you could clarify it would be a great help.” You smiled politely, trying to be as kind and understanding as possible. “You're a Muslim, aren't you? Look, I don't mean to be rude but I'm really uncomfortable around your kind of people and would just appreciate it if you could assign me a new doctor?”
You stared at her in shock and Hannibal almost regretted not finishing her off earlier. But he'd have more of a reason to now.
You were silent for a second. “Excuse me?” You raised an eyebrow. “You heard me clearly Dr. L/N. I don't like that thing you wear on your head either, it makes you look stupid.” You stared at her with wide eyes, not expecting her to insult you that far. “If you want to be a true woman at least take that stupid towel off your head.”
You walked up to her in fury. “Listen to me, you have no right to speak to me like that. If I wanted to I literally could cut off your life support. You're an incompetent being that has no brain and thoughts other than to insult people who have done NOTHING to you!” You yelled at her in anger, she was surprised to see you arguing back. “Well- I-i Fuck you! You're a terrorist! You're arguing like one too! How dare you threaten to kill me! You murderer!” She screamed and lunged at you, ripping your hijab off.
“Alright, that's enough.” Will spoke up before punching her square in the face, hard enough to knock her out. You were too horrified by the fact this woman just took your hijab off infront of two men to even think about yelling at Will about what he just did. You felt tears swell up as you hurriedly grabbed the scarf from the ground and covered your head, sniffling. Hannibal and Will immediately noticed and turned around, simultaneously.
After you were done you let out a sob. “I... I can't believe she did that.” You whispered, which prompted Hannibal to walk over to you and hug you, letting you sob into his shoulder as he pat your back in a soothing motion. “It's alright. It wasn't your fault. Some people are just born to be... Rude. Rude people get dealt with sooner or later.” He spoke as he stared at the blood seeping from Jessie's nose.
“Hey, if it makes you feel any better I promise I didn't see anything, but I wasn't expecting that either.” Will spoke up tried to comfort you while you sniffled. “Sniff, thanks for um, turning around when I was fixing my hijab. I'm- I'm sorry about crying I just-”
“Hey hey hey, there's no need to apologize, if anyone has to apologize it should be her, not you. Alright? None of this was your fault, you can't blame yourself for crying.” Will retorted, and now it was his turn to hug you.
“I think you should go home now.” Hannibal spoke up from behind. “Will, take her home, I need to stay behind.” He spoke as he glanced at Jessie's unconscious body.
“Alright, you alright now Y/N?” Will asked with a worried expression. “Yeah I'm- I'm alright now, I just wanna go home.” You spoke up with a faint smile. Will escorted you outside the ward.

“-Jessie Freeman, found dead in her hospital bed. Investigators say she was cut open while still conscious and burned to death whie still being conscious.”
You stared at the news on the TV in shock, you couldn't save a ripper victim after all. But was it such a bad thing? She deserved it.
No, what are you even thinking about? She was still a living being. Going through that was worse than what you went. Was it? It doesn't matter.
What matters is that she's gone, whether she leaves alive or dead.
But are you happy with that outcome?

Rewatcing TVD season 5 and I'm on 5x04 where Stefan has his memory loss and I'm having a lot of Steroline thoughts so I'mma just dump 'em all here.
So first thing that happens is drunk Stefan calls Caroline hot when he first sees her, establishing that he does find her attractive on a baseline level. Meaning, he probably would've noticed her when he came to Mystic Falls if he wasn't so distracted by having found a doppelgänger of the girl that turned him into a vampire.
Then there's the difference between how Elena and Caroline handle amnesia!Stefan's bloodlust. Elena, in classic her-fashion, makes it all about herself. You were a great boyfriend to me. You never scared me. So, naturally, when he tries to kiss her and she tells him she's with his brother now, he feels betrayed and runs off. Elena tried to get him to remember by recreating how they met, she distracts him from his bloodlust by telling him all about their relationship. It works temporarily, but this makes it so that Stefan ties his control to being around Elena ("Whatever monster I was capable of being, I could see why I was different around you.") so when he finds out about her and Damon, his control goes down with their relationship.
But when Caroline sees him feeding on Jessie, she tells him, "This isn't you. Okay, you might not remember, but I do. You are better than this! You are not this person." Not only does she solely tie it to who Stefan is as a person, but as a byproduct, she informs Stefan that he has other people who care about him besides his ex and brother. It's no wonder she's the only one he trusts after that. And then she and Stefan agree on a plan for her to call him every hour to check in, because Caroline prioritises making sure Stefan's okay before making sure that he remembers. ("I don't want my brother's advice. I don't wanna hear how I supported you, Elena. [...] Don't worry, I'm not gonna go on a ripper binge. Besides, Caroline said she'd call me every hour to make sure I was okay, and, uh... I actually do trust her.")
And then there's the scene in the Salvatore Tomb before Bonnie's funeral where Stefan comforts Caroline. It's in my, like, top 10 scenes of theirs at least. ("Me. You have me. Look, you were there for me last night. Sounds like you're always there for me. So let me be there for you.") Elena told him that he always showed her and others compassion, but that doesn't do much when she disrespected him by lying by omission about their history and the fact that she left him for his brother. Caroline tells him that he's a compassionate person and then backs it up by showing him compassion. So when Stefan sees her hurting, he wants to return that. He puts his own worries aside for the time being, asks her what's wrong, says he wishes he could remember Bonnie, offers physical comfort and tells her he'll still be there for her despite him not remembering their friendship, because he sees how much she does for him and others and he knows she deserves it.

Happy Halloween month from Ghost Bride Samantha and me! 🎃 I bought a doll wedding dress from Etsy, took a seam ripper and some green and black fabric dye to it, and finally sewed some "creepy cloth" to the waist. The original dress was so beautiful on its own, I felt kinda bad ruining it, but the final effect is undeniably cool.
I have this fun little headcanon that Sam got this costume in-universe when she found an old wedding dress in Grandmary's attic shortly after she heard the scary story "The Mistletoe Bough," which is about a bride who meets a gruesome fate after a game of hide-and-seek with her new husband goes terribly wrong. She got inspired, and (after getting permission from Grandmary) she asked Jessie to help her alter it to fit her. Then she and Aunt Cornelia took a pair of scissors and added some strategically placed rips, and finally they let Bridget and Jenny throw ink all over it (which the two little girls enjoyed tremendously, though they needed a good long soak in the bath afterwards).

The difference between their two compulsions has to do with the compulsions themselves AND the way these brothers are written. They're both sectioned a certain way for that purpose.
Had Klaus compelled Damon to bite Elena, he'd have no choice. Still, he doesn't have the ripper gene, so he has the ability to stop because he has control over his bloodlust. He wouldn't bite her to the point of kill. Without his humanity, he wouldn't be impulsive, so he'd have enough control to fight it like Stefan did with the broomstick.
While Stefan was told to bite Elena, which would surely lead to her death because he's a ripper... Damon was straight-up told to kill Jeremy. Had Kol compelled Damon's humanity, he'd need to compel him a second time just to get him to do it. Without emotion, Damon has no reason to kill Jeremy, so that second compulsion would have to include some rage. Ripper Stefan without his humanity doesn't need any coaxing because Elena's blood is tempting enough for him to bite her, and he'd bite her to the point of kill.
Klaus had no reason to be nasty with Damon because while he was right about Stefan stopping himself with the broomstick, he totally disregards the fact that he had to stop Stefan from ripping Elena's head off after he compelled him to turn his emotions off. They show this in season 5 when Damon is given the ripper virus. Stefan has to stop him from biting into Katherine. There's no stopping a ripper unless an Original compels it or someone feels like killing that ripper like Elena did Jessie. Klaus should ask Stefan how it feels to nearly rip Elena's head off because he couldn't stop himself.
Had Kol compelled Stefan's humanity and told him to bite and/or kill Jeremy, Jeremy would have lost his head because a ripper doesn't stop. With his humanity, he'd fight the compulsion, but have a harder time stopping himself because his love for Jeremy is nothing like his love for Elena. I'm saying that Damon could've fought Klaus' compulsion wihtout a problem, but I'm not so sure Stefan could've fought Kol's. He can't even put his own brother above Elena.

This year I read 78 books which is a step down from the last few years (all 100+) but I'm trying to read in a more purposeful, slow way, trying to savor and absorb what I read, which is definitely a challenge since I've always been a very speedy reader.
There's a complete list below the cut of all the books, but here were my absolute favorites of this year:

One of these groups is Iron Mike's, a man who believes democracy needs to remain, a beacon of hope in this new world. Prior to the events of Days Gone, Deacon is described as a drifter, who did work here and there for numerous bands of travelers. In the final of the three major twists in the Days Gone ending, it's revealed that Deacon's past has come back to haunt him. It's just the two of them against the world in Days Gone's ending, with no enemies except the undead who remain. There are no hints of her work continuing, no disappointment or renewed excitement. The couple ride off into the sunset together, her job unfinished. However, once Deacon "rescues" her from the Colonel's grasp, her mission is all-but forgotten. She cannot forgive herself for her involvement and is intent on finding a way to reverse what she's done. Sarah's studies of plants somehow led to the creation of a bio-weapon that was unknowingly unleashed upon the world - though the specifics aren't revealed in Days Gone. But why is she so convinced and how does she have all of this information regarding the genetic mutations of the virus? Sarah reveals to Deacon on a trip to her old laboratory that her company is responsible for the plague, and her research itself may be specifically to blame. Sarah believes that there's a way to reverse the effects of the freaker virus and return humanity to its former state. Did she survive her stab wound, the freaker hordes, and make it somewhere safe? Yes.

He tracks down O'Brian and completes a series of tasks for him in exchange for information regarding Sarah's fate. Connecting the dots, Deacon recalls that this was the name of the man who took Sarah to the safe zone. Then - out of the blue - hope appears in the form of a chance encounter with a NERO helicopter.ĭeacon overhears a NERO scientist discussing something with an "O'Brian" over the two-way radio. Every so often, he plants flowers at a DYI gravestone and recaps her on the events in his life. He escaped the city, only to discover that the safe zone Sarah's helicopter headed to had been overrun, and Sarah was presumed dead. After placing her in the helicopter alone - there was only room for one more person - Deacon continued to fight off the ensuing hordes. Through conversations with Boozer (Deacon's best friend and fellow biker), we learn that Deacon has mostly accepted Sarah's death.
